The Purpose and Application of God’s Wrath

Who Avoids the Wrath of God?

As the Lord’s chosen people, we are the first to fulfill the Scriptures and live by every word God spoke.  It is a blessing when we can read with God-given eyes to see and also hear with God-given ears to hear.  Then a time comes when we reap the ultimate blessing of the Lord when we begin to actually live out or keep the prophecy of the sayings written about in the Bible.

Rev 1:3  Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand

Prophecy is mostly understood in the here and now. The time is at hand and it is at that time that we will be given to comprehend we are fulfilling the Scriptures.  This blessing is our salvation and the making of the new man.  To fulfill the Scriptures, we will endure many trials including bearing the wrath of our holy Father as he accomplishes His purposes in us.

This article will address a specific error that many believe that says God’s people (i.e. the Elect) do not experience the wrath of God.  It is important to get this right as a day will come when one’s faith will be tested from the pressure and intensity of being in the winepress of God’s judgments.  In this day of the Lord’s wrath, we will be tried mightily, and our lives and carnal mind will endure the fiery wrath of the Lord.  Lest we forget, we must die this death to our carnal mind to come alive with Christ.  This necessary destruction of our carnal mind and old man must take place and happens by going through this appointed season of wrath.  Enduring this process is the faith and patience of His saints.

Rev 14:13  And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.

The Lord won’t try us beyond what we can bear and we will have been prepared to stand and give thanks for all the Lord is doing in our life.  If we are Christ’s we will be gathered to Christ in our appointed times.

Rev 14:19  And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God.

Rev 14:20  And the winepress was trodden without the city, and blood came out of the winepress, even unto the horse bridles, by the space of a thousand and six hundred furlongs.

The Process of Reformation

The first step in our being reformed is coming to see our sins.  The way problem fixing works in the natural is the same as it works in the Spirit.  Awareness is the start of our walk with the Lord and that is the purpose of the law in bringing us to Christ.  As we are given to see our sins His sword will never depart our house.  It will be there to accomplish salvation in us.  David learned this and we too in our appointed time.

2Sa 12:10  Now, therefore, the sword shall never depart from thine house; because thou hast despised me, and hast taken the wife of Uriah the Hittite to be thy wife.

What is the sword of the Lord?  Sure, it’s the word of God but it is even bigger than that.  The Lord is not limited to words in a book, His sword includes even the wicked within and without us.  The Lord stirs up other people and causes events to happen in our lives to bring hardship and ultimately correction as a result of His wrath.

Psa 17:13  Arise, O LORD, disappoint him, cast him down: deliver my soul from the wicked, which is thy sword:

Seeing salvation for us and salvation for everyone else as two processes, with two sets of rewards and punishments between the Elect and the others is an error.  The two rewards and punishments doctrine is another variation of the eternal hell doctrine or even the rapture doctrine.  Both false doctrines have God’s Elect bypassing His wrath and all the others being burned in hell forever or enduring the great tribulation.  All men, including the very Elect, must go thru it and that tribulation very much includes the wrath of God.

Rev 7:14  And I say unto him, My lord, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they that come out of the great tribulation, and they washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

The sum of the word shows us that this great tribulation is the same as our enduring the wrath of God against our rebellious and disobedient ways.

All who DO NOT BELIEVE, which is all of us for a very long time, shall have the wrath of God abiding upon us. Our faith/belief only grows as we endure the trials that include God’s wrath.  As that wrath accomplishes its purposes, more of the promised land within is subjected to the Lord in faith and the fiery trials goes out on that portion.

Joh 3:36  He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

Every part of us will be made a believer thru the process.  It is how we are being saved, it is the way of salvation.

Everyone’s ungodliness and unrighteousness is addressed in due time.  The Elect don’t get a pass, they just experience in this age if they are so blessed.

Rom 1:18  For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;

We are being made holy and blameless by being judged by a vengeful, jealous and wrathful God that is thankfully merciful as well.  King David earlier had called for the Lord’s wrath to come deliver him from his enemies within and without which comes only by the judgment of God.

Psa 7:6  Arise, O LORD, in thine anger, lift up thyself because of the rage of mine enemies: and awake for me to the judgment that thou hast commanded.

God makes His power known to us and mankind only comes to know He is the Lord by experiencing His wrath in the whirlwind of His judgments.  This learning is what causes us to obey Him in due time.  This is the process by which the potter destroys the old man (marred clay in His hand) and reforms us into the new man in His image.   A key passage of truth.

Rom 9:22  What if God, willing to shew his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction:

Without experiencing His wrath, we will not know the true power of the Lord and won’t know Him nor will we have learned the fear of the Lord.

Psa 90:11  Who knoweth the power of thine anger? even according to thy fear, so is thy wrath.

Pro 16:6  By mercy and truth iniquity is purged: and by the fear of the LORD men depart from evil.

We all are by nature children of wrath, that is our destiny, and are going to have to go thru it.  That indeed is the only way to be quickened with Christ and raised in newness of life (dying to death, having our carnal way of life destroyed).

Eph 2:3  Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.

Our spiritual day of wrath is also our day of the Lord which is our time of judgment that comes first to the household of God.

Rom 2:5  But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God;

Rom 2:6  Who will render to every man according to his deeds:

When Christ comes to us for salvation apart from sin, He is smiting the inward nations and ruling us with a rod of iron that is saving us.  This is how Christ is “revealed” to us.

Rev 19:15  And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.

Eze 7:9  And mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity: I will recompense thee according to thy ways and thine abominations that are in the midst of thee; and ye shall know that I am the LORD that smiteth.

But this wrath, the smiting, the judgment, however it is described is the best blessing we can ever get.  It is the very thing that is saving us and for that, we are taught to give thanks for all things the Lord works, even His wrath.

Eph 5:20  Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;

These experiences are also the wonderful works of men to God’s children as Psalm 107 describes which bring us to our wits end and usher in salvation.  All the fury and storms that bring us to our wits end are good as they are part of God’s favor and mercy.  This is redeeming us from our bondage to the enemies of God within.

 Psa 107:2  Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy;

There is no other way to be saved and find Christ.  No man enters into Christ ANY OTHER WAY.  Every man, must fulfill the seven plagues of wrath… all God’s judgment to enter into Christ and be at rest.   Here is a powerful testimony to never forget.

Rev 15:7  And one of the four beasts gave unto the seven angels seven golden vials full of the wrath of God, who liveth for ever and ever.

Rev 15:8  And the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God, and from his power; and no man was able to enter into the temple, till the seven plagues of the seven angels were fulfilled.

Appointed to Salvation not Wrath

It will help to address a specific verse that confuses many as almost all professing Christians are taught the lie.  By itself this one verse seems to say we don’t experience the wrath of the Lord.  But that is not what this verse actually means.

1Th 5:9  For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,

It is true, we are not appointed to wrath but rather to salvation.  So Paul’s words here do not contradict the scores of other witnesses that say we do go thru His wrath to be saved.  They harmonize it.  Enduring our Father’s wrath is for a purpose, which is to bring salvation and the resulting overcoming/obedience.   That is the purpose of God’s wrath, it is not to kill us or discourage us.  That is why Paul adds in the verse reminding us to encourage one another during these very difficult times.

1Th 5:11  Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.

When we know the Lord’s purpose and our part in the Book, with the requisite faith we will be able to stand. This is how the gold and fine jewels in the temple of God that we are, are being made.  With this problem verse now clear we can look at further details of the Lord’s methods.

The Rod of The Lord

We have a whole set of verses that speak to this using another symbol, the rod of God our Father.  Thankfully the Lord does not spare us of His rod, we endure all of it and that is what teaches us righteousness.  These Proverbs are true in the natural to our physical sons but also to us as the sons of God.

Pro 13:24  He that spareth his rod hateth his son: but he that loveth him chasteneth him betimes.

Pro 23:13  Withhold not correction from the child: for if thou beatest him with the rod, he shall not die [in fact it bring newness of life!]

Pro 23:14  Thou shalt beat him with the rod, and shalt deliver his soul from hell.

The Elect don’t get a pass on this.  They are the first to experience the chastening and disciplining of our Father.  This will bring us to lament of our sins and wickedness which in the end accomplishes the Lord’s work in us.

Lam 3:1  I am the man that hath seen affliction by the rod of his wrath.

The purpose of the “rod of His wrath” is to save us and separate us into a people holy and undefiled.  All things that defile need to be removed to enter into the Holy City and thus our sanctification is the purpose of God’s wrath.  This is how we are brought into the new covenant [saved] with the Lord.

Eze 20:37  And I will cause you to pass under the rod, and I will bring you into the bond of the covenant:

Eze 20:38  And I will purge out from among you the rebels, and them that transgress against me: I will bring them forth out of the country where they sojourn, and they shall not enter into the land of Israel: and ye shall know that I am the LORD.

We outwardly can see what happens when the rod is withheld by looking at the children of today and how the carnal world has changed with its “modern thinking”.  The world with its false definition of love has in the name of “love” demonized disciplining of children and even the punishing of criminal lawbreakers.   The result is more rebellion, lawlessness, and dysfunction in the nations.  The Lord knows what He is doing and enduring wrath and punishment for our mistakes is the way we are learning to be like Him.

Psa 119:71  It is good for me that I have been afflicted; that I might learn thy statutes.

The Lessons of Wrath Upon Israel

And we have many witnesses showing God’s wrath very much applies to His Chosen people of Israel.  Flesh Israel symbolizes God’s Elect and all those things written were examples for us to learn thereby.  Many a carnal man has argued that the OT prophecies have no application to those that walk by faith today.  That is an error as all of these OT prophecies were experienced and written down in the Bible for our edification today as God’s Elect.  These words remain examples for us to live and learn by and are very applicable to us today.

1Co 10:6  Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted.

1Co 10:11  Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.

Let’s be reminded of some of these events, events that we will live by in our time.  The Lord gets angry and wrathful with His people when we disobey Him.  Yet that wrath stops and the Lord repents of that evil when the discipline accomplishes its purpose.  That is the function of fiery grace and when we are living in that day, the grace will always prevail.

We see in the OT what happens when we take the things of God and make our own image of God and worship that instead of the true God. Here is the consequence of disobedience to the law by making a golden calf in the Lord’s name.  We all do this at first which requires God’s wrath to correct.

Exo 32:10  Now therefore let me alone, that my wrath may wax hot against them, and that I may consume them: and I will make of thee a great nation

Exo 32:11  And Moses besought the LORD his God, and said, LORD, why doth thy wrath wax hot against thy people, which thou hast brought forth out of the land of Egypt with great power, and with a mighty hand?

Notice the good that comes about from the wrath.  God works the evil in us but the purpose is to make a great holy nation in the end.

The Lord’s wrath is not forever and does not deny that He is merciful in His judgments.  Still, it is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God and you will know it when it happens to you.  We should take such experiences as a token sign of our salvation as the work of God will not be in vain for those that believe.

His wrath is not kindled against those unbelieving Philistines out there as the false doctrines of Babylon teach.  No, God’s wrath is poured out against His own house and is part of the righteous judgment of God necessary to be saved.  Some more examples of things we live out in fulfilling the Scriptures.

Num 11:33  And while the flesh was yet between their teeth, ere it was chewed, the wrath of the LORD was kindled against the people, and the LORD smote the people with a very great plague.

Num 16:46  And Moses said unto Aaron, Take a censer, and put fire therein from off the altar, and put on incense, and go quickly unto the congregation, and make an atonement for them: for there is wrath gone out from the LORD; the plague is begun.

The grace of God (His favor) includes both the blessing and the curses.  His wrath is used to discipline us and bring us back into subjection.    It accomplishes His purposes in precise proportions.

Deu 11:16  Take heed to yourselves, that your heart be not deceived, and ye turn aside, and serve other gods, and worship them;

Deu 11:17  And then the LORD’S wrath be kindled against you, and he shut up the heaven, that there be no rain, and that the land yield not her fruit; and lest ye perish quickly from off the good land which the LORD giveth you.

We provoke the Lord to wrath by our disobedience.  It is the same as any physical father would get angry and wrathful to disobedient children.  Don’t make the mistake of trying to wordsmith words to make wrath different from anger and chastening; they are one and the same. Here are just some examples showing they are interconnected.

2Ki 23:26  Notwithstanding the LORD turned not from the fierceness of his great wrath, wherewith his anger was kindled against Judah, because of all the provocations that Manasseh had provoked him withal.

2Ch 34:25  Because they have forsaken me, and have burned incense unto other gods, that they might provoke me to anger with all the works of their hands; therefore my wrath shall be poured out upon this place, and shall not be quenched.

Jer 32:37  Behold, I will gather them out of all countries, whither I have driven them in mine anger, and in my fury, and in great wrath, and I will bring them again unto this place, and I will cause them to dwell safely:  Jer 32:38  And they shall be my people, and I will be their God:

Isa 13:9  Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it.

In simpler New Testament speak this is the scourging and chastening of a loving Father wanting to correct His sons and teach them righteousness.

Heb 12:6  For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth

The purpose of this wrath on Israel is always the same, it is for the salvation of Israel.  This is how sin is destroyed and the chosen and faithful are made into a great and holy nation.  Those in the truth know the Lord causes even our disobedience as He seeks provocations to bring judgment to His people and thus advance them towards salvation.

Until we begin to live through the Lord’s wrath, we won’t really understand.  We are not given to know the details ahead of time as the thunders are sealed and not written about [Rev 10:4].

When our time has come, the Lord removes the hedge of protection and sends forth evil [fire from heaven within and without] to wreak havoc.  Then we will begin to understand as we live in our day of the Lord.  Many things in our lives will seemingly go wrong and the Lord will spoil our pursuits and separate us from brethren and acquaintances. Job’s experience is ours!

Job 19:11  He hath also kindled his wrath against me, and he counteth me unto him as one of his enemies.

Job 19:12  His troops come together [The Lord’s Sword – Psa 17:13], and raise up their way against me, and encamp round about my tabernacle.

Job 19:13  He hath put my brethren far from me, and mine acquaintance are verily estranged from me.

God is no respecter of persons and has ordained ONE process that will come alike to every man in their appointed time.

Act 15:11  But we believe that through the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ we [the Elect, chosen of God now] shall be saved, even as they.

Now knowing the truth about the wrath of God makes us no better than anyone else.  What it should do, is humble us and awaken us to what is going on in our lives.  The Lord is not slack, He is doing nothing by happenstance.  Through all things, He is speaking with us but we have been dull of hearing.  We should take heed of the Lord’s voice thru these events so we may learn our lessons and hasten His coming within us.

Psa 2:11  Serve the LORD with fear and rejoice with trembling.

Psa 2:12  Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.

It is far better to suffer for righteousness’ sake and doing Christ’s commands than for any of our unrighteousness.  Our goal is always to be holy and obedient people as our Lord and Father is holy [1Pe 1:16].  The sooner the better is our aim and struggle.  Lord willing, with this truth on the wrath of God clearer in our heavens; our attitude and thanksgiving to the Lord will be markedly improved.  Believing in Him and His promises can give us the strength to endure difficult periods of suffering.

Rom 8:28  And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

Sincere questions are always welcome.  if we can be helpers of your joy, please let us know.

Abandoning Principles Leads to Error

The true church of Jesus Christ is not divided (1Co 1:13).  Christ is ONE with the Father and with His Christ.

Joh 10:30  I and my Father are one.

Joh 17:21  That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.

Christ being One with His Father and His people means the TRUE church cannot be divided and will be of one mind in matters of the Spirit and of Doctrine.

1Co 6:17  But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.

The divide of Christ’s church is really a separating and a sifting of the wheat from the chaff as only a remnant shall escape from Jerusalem in this age.

Our fallen brothers and sisters have erred in vision and stumbled in their judgment all the Lords doing of course.  In love, we have tried and will continue to try as Lord allows us to win them back.

Denying the Lake of Fire is a subtle way of denying the cross and creating a different process (less punishment, more rewards) for the Jew vs the Gentiles in being saved.   But the truth is all men are saved the exact same way and given the exact same reward – THE MIND OF CHRIST.  The Elect just receives it first.  It is the carnal mind that has led our fallen away (the error of the wicked) elders into believing we deserve special rewards and prizes.  The Bible teaches otherwise when rightfully divided.  Here are five witnesses that more than establishing the truth of the true doctrine.

Act 15:8  And God, which knoweth the hearts, bare them witness, giving them the Holy Ghost, even as he did unto us;

Act 15:9  And put no difference between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith.

Act 15:11  But we believe that through the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ we shall be saved, even as they.

Jud 1:3  Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.

Eph 3:6  That the Gentiles should be fellow heirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel:

Luk 17:10  So likewise ye, when ye shall have done all those things which are commanded you, say, We are unprofitable servants: we have done that which was our duty to do.

Mat 20:14  Take that thine is, and go thy way: I will give unto this last, even as unto thee.   SAME REWARD

Our living the Second Death which is the Lake of Fire is how we overcome and how we are saved.  It is not something to be avoided.

Rev 12:11  And they overcame him [Satan and his messengers] by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony, and they loved not their lives unto the [second] death.

1Co 1:18  For the message of the cross (lake of fire) is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.

Heb 2:14  Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death (second death, death to death) he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;

Heb 2:15  And deliver them (SAVE US) who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage

“Come Lord Jesus Come” is what we should be saying rather than the Lake of Fire is not for me.  We must be baptized by His fire in the lake of fire.

Rev 22:17  And the Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let him who hears say, “Come!” And let him who thirsts come. Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely.

Rev 22:18  For I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds to these things, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this book;

Rev 22:19  and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part from the Book of Life, from the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

Foundational Principles Abandoned

The origin on the errors is an abandonment of the foundational principles of how Truth is established.  Those errors extent deeper into other areas such as rightly dividing the First Resurrection and understanding what the Reward and the prize of the higher calling in Christ represent.

  1. The Word IS, WAS and WILL BE (present, past and future fulfillment) – Rev 1:8, Rev 4:8
  2. The Word is a two-edged sword speaking about the old man and new man in every word and every verse – Heb 4:12
  3. The sum of the word is true – Psa 119:160
  4. No scripture is of its own private explanation – 2Pe 1:20
  5. Man shall live (the IS/inwardly) by every Word God spoke – Mat 4:4, 1Co 3:21
  6. God speaks of things that ARE NOT as if they already are – Rom 4:17
  7. His words are Spirit and not to be taken by the letter – Joh 6:63
  8. Truth is found by comparing spiritual to spiritual – 1Col 2:13
  9. All things come alike to all, one event to all men – Ecc 9:2
  10. All things are done in parables to hide the meaning in the letter (Mar 4:11, Hos 12:10)

As we teach, we must always watch and prove all things, being vigalent in trying the spirits and testing the doctrines.

1Ti 4:16  Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee.

2Co 11:3  But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity [living by every word, one event, etc] that is in Christ.

We Live Every Word Inwardly

One distinction that will help clear the smoke of confusion is to remember that “living by every word God spoke” is speaking about living them ALL INWARDLY.  Where is the kingdom of God and where is the Lord working to bring about Christ in us?

Luk 17:20  Now when He was asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, He answered them and said, “The kingdom of God does not come with observation;

Luk 17:21  nor will they say, ‘See here!’ or ‘See there!’ For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you.”

We live all words INWARDLY, fulfilling the IS part of “is, was and will be” because now is judgment upon the house of God (1Pe 4:17).  Problems and quarrelsome questions come up on this subject when we forget to emphasize the inward and living part of that is what every man lives.

Heb 4:12  For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword

It has never been said that this means applying them in the WAS or the WILL BE sense to every man.  For example, we did not go thru the flood of Noah outwardly, but we did inwardly.  The same is to be applied for all events in the historical past, but we will live them all out in their INWARD application.  As a further example, we all come out of the world (Egypt) and then go through a wilderness experience after first coming to the knowledge of the Truth before we enter the promised land and begin to conquer sin (the giants) in our land.

Future events for us also cannot be lived by everyone outwardly.  Only the very Elect who are completed in Christ in this age, will be the administrators and outward ruling with Christ in the next age.   For example, anyone already physically dead that was not Elect cannot be ruled over in the outward Millennium.  Yet all men in their order of harvest will live those words out INWARDLY even for those in resurrected spirit bodies as the kingdom of God is still WITHIN those men.

Lake of Fire and Second Death

The Lake of Fire is where salvation is found and the new man formed and completed by the wrath of God against our old man.  The revealing (revelation) of Jesus Christ in the hearts and minds of every man is the greatest gift and reward imaginable.  As this church has rightfully taught in the past, it is our living out those words that bring this greatest blessing and gives every man the mind of Christ.

Rev 1:3  Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things (lives them) which are written in it; for the time is near.

The new man is brought forth in this fire and Christ in us, the overcomer, is raised when the dead old man dies.  It’s not us overcoming, again it is Christ in us doing the work and ushering in righteousness in the kingdom of God.

1Jn 4:4  Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you (CHRIST – the new man), than he that is in the world.

The Second Death is a functional living event like all words of Scripture.  Those dead to death (the Second Death) are blessed indeed because at that point, it is finished and they have put on the mind of Christ and are at rest.  It is a blessing to die to death and live the Second Death.

Rev 14:13  And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.

The old man is destroyed and the new man (Christ in us) raised up in power by going through the wrath of God. That is the gospel and how one is blessed and made holy.

Rev 20:6  Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

As an overcomer, the fire of God’s word has already burned out all the wood, hay and stubble and we are complete in Christ in need of nothing.  Thus we see Christ and His Christ in the fire administering the Lake of Fire and the fire cannot hurt us.  Christ and His Christ can walk in this fire without hurt.  They had already overcome by the same fire.

Dan 3:25  He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.

Dan 3:26  Then Nebuchadnezzar came near to the mouth of the burning fiery furnace, and spake, and said, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, ye servants of the most high God, come forth, and come hither. Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, came forth of the midst of the fire.

There it is.  The new man in us, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, overcome and come forth from the fire.  The new man in us is THE RESULT of going into the fire in faith and losing our life in the flesh.  Avoiding the lake of fire means no overcoming in this age.

Christ in us is the overcomer and only He can dwell in the everlasting fire and not be hurt.

Isa 33:14  The sinners in Zion are afraid; Fearfulness has seized the hypocrites: “Who among us shall dwell with the devouring fire? Who among us shall dwell with everlasting burnings?”

The answer is the NEW MAN in us, the overcomer…..

Isa 33:15  He who walks righteously and speaks uprightly, He who despises the gain of oppressions, Who gestures with his hands, refusing bribes, Who stops his ears from hearing of bloodshed, And shuts his eyes from seeing evil:

The new man is not appointed to wrath but to salvation.  Double witness right here.

1Th 5:9  For God hath not appointed us (Christ, the new man) to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,

Rev 2:11  He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh (Christ in us, the new man only) shall not be hurt of the second death.

The new man in us is not appointed to wrath!!!.  The Second Death experience will not hurt the new man. The new man is being raised up in the same proportion as the old man is being destroyed in the fire whether it be called Lake of Fire or fiery trials.  We are following in our Lord’s footsteps.

Rom 6:5  For if we have been united together in the likeness of His death (second death), certainly we also shall be in the likeness of His resurrection, (the First Resurrection, the mind of Christ)

Rom 6:6  knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin.

Rom 6:7  For he who has died (the second death) has been freed from sin. (Holiness, the blessing of the new man, Christ in us the hope of glory)

When Do We Drink of the Lord’s Cup of Wrath?

This post is based on a question and answer regarding this article entitled Drinking the Cup of God’s Wrath.  It is guaranteed by the Scriptures that all men will drink of the Lord’s cup. That is indeed the way by which all men shall be saved in the appointed times for each.  Drinking of the cup is the trials, the oppression, the persecution we must endure that is necessary to accomplish the Lord’s will in our lives, which is our sanctification and salvation from sin.  That is how the real baptism takes place that brings forth the new man from the death of the old man.

Mat 3:11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:

Mat 20:23 And he saith unto them, Ye shall drink indeed of my cup, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with

Being made alive is to be risen in the Spirit of the Lord. This comes to the house of the Lord in this age but will come to all men in due time.  The most essential promise of a faithful God who cannot lie.

1Co 15:22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.

Here is the question and the follow-up answer that should edify and expand on this mystery of the kingdom of God.

QUESTION: So all will experience the cup of wrath whether they are seeking or not seeking Him? I am seeking Jesus. Are we not saved until the cup comes? And if it comes, is it at the moment of death or is it during our lifetime?

Thanks for your question. A very long paper could be written as your question get at the heart of the Lord’s process of how salvation comes to us. Your question was getting to the heart of what Jesus was speaking about here in Matthew 20. The sons of Zebedee nor their mother had any clue what they were asking yet Christ elaborated on the drinking of the cup, which represents dying to the flesh.

Mat 20:23 And he saith unto them, Ye shall drink indeed of my cup, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with: but to sit on my right hand, and on my left, is not mine to give, but it shall be given to them for whom it is prepared of my Father.

The Lord makes it clear there is no free will involved.

Jer 25:28 And it shall be, if they refuse to take the cup at thine hand to drink, then shalt thou say unto them, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Ye shall certainly drink.

We all will drink of this cup and this for good reason to serve the purposes of the Lord and bringing about His will, which is our sanctification (1 The 4:3). Flesh is not inheriting the kingdom of God PERIOD.

1Co 15:50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.

Nobody seeks after the true God. The real Jesus is not attractive to flesh and the carnal mind, there is natural enmity put there by the Lord on purpose. No the only way anyone gets to the the Lord is to be dragged there.

Joh 6:44 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me drag him: and I will raise him up at the last day.

Joh 6:65 And he said, Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father

Drinking of this cup is partaking in the Lord’s supper.  This is when we eat His flesh and drink His blood.  These are spiritual statements (Joh 6:63) and refer to our following the Lord and enduring persecution, afflictions and suffering in this age in these physical bodies that are used to burn out of us all our carnal and worldly ways.

Joh 6:53 Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.
Joh 6:54 Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.
Joh 6:55 For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.
Joh 6:56 He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him.

Few are given in this age to understand these truths much less walk it out.  Almost all leave Christ as they are not made ready to pay the costs of being a disciple.

Joh 6:66 From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him.

But back to your specific question input.  We are told point blank, nobody seeks after God.

Rom 3:10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
Rom 3:11 There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.

We are told point blank, nobody finds Jesus Christ. He finds us, we don’t choose Him.  We seek the other jesus in the delusion of our carnal mind.

Isa 65:1 I am sought of them that asked not for me; I am found of them that sought me not: I said, Behold me, behold me, unto a nation that was not called by my name.

Joh 15:16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.

Walking in darkness separated from the Lord is all His plan for our lives. His people must first go into Babylon and be deceived before they are dragged to the real Jesus Christ in the appointed time or in what the Scriptures also say “due time”. This is the plan for men’s lives and in the end it all works for good. The only way we call on the Lord is to first be brought to our wits end. This making the storms, putting us in darkness is all the wonderful works of the Lord to the children of men which is code words for His true Body, the Elect of God. The Lord is doing it all as our lives are simply the works of His hands (Isa 64:8).

Psa 107:24 These see the works of the LORD, and his wonders in the deep.
Psa 107:25 For he commandeth, and raiseth the stormy wind, which lifteth up the waves thereof.
Psa 107:26 They mount up to the heaven, they go down again to the depths: their soul is melted because of trouble.
Psa 107:27 They reel to and fro, and stagger like a drunken man, and are at their wits’ end.
Psa 107:28 Then they cry unto the LORD in their trouble, and he bringeth them out of their distresses.
Psa 107:29 He maketh the storm a calm, so that the waves thereof are still.
Psa 107:30 Then are they glad because they be quiet; so he bringeth them unto their desired haven.
Psa 107:31 Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!

A day will come when we will hear the call to come out of her (Babylon) my people. And we will then come out because we will have been found by the Lord and our heart will be made willing to search for Him with our whole hearts.

Jer 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
Jer 29:12 Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you.
Jer 29:13 And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.
Jer 29:14 And I will be found of you, saith the LORD: and I will turn away your captivity, and I will gather you from all the nations, and from all the places whither I have driven you, saith the LORD; and I will bring you again into the place whence I caused you to be carried away captive.

So getting back to your question, we all will experience this wrath. All will drink of the cup of the wrath of God, but it will come in the time appointed by the Lord. That cup is the true grace of God. Grace is what chastens, us, it is the scourging of our fleshly way of life, it is how we learn obedience by the things we suffer.

Heb 12:6 For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.

Grace and the scourging that goes with it comes to those the Lord loves. He loves all men but in this age, in this life, He loves His Elect who are the apple of His eye. That is who is being scourged now. That is the same thing as being judged and that is how we enter into the kingdom of God.

1Pe 4:17 For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?

Judgment is how we are redeemed from the bondage of the flesh and the ways of this world which is Egypt in type and shadow.

Exo 6:6 Wherefore say unto the children of Israel, I am the LORD, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will rid you out of their bondage, and I will redeem you with a stretched out arm, and with great judgments:

Isa 1:27 Zion shall be redeemed with judgment, and her converts with righteousness.

This wrath, which is the judgments is how we learn the true righteousness of Jesus Christ in our appointed times. Best to be judged now and be learning this now.

Isa 26:9 With my soul have I desired thee in the night; yea, with my spirit within me will I seek thee early: for when thy judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness.

This grace of God is, was and will be appear to all men, but only the chosen few, the ELECT of God will understand what the Lord is doing and they will learn the truth and be remade by abiding in the fire of the truth which is the WORD.

Tit 2:11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,
Tit 2:12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;

This is what grace does when we live thru, i.e. DO THE JUDGMENTS of God.

Eze 36:26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.
Eze 36:27 And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.

Do you see that? This is what CAUSES us to obey the Lord, that is how the new man is raised up within us and the old man destroyed. By the fire of the Word!. Our God is a consuming fire!

Salvation means be delivered from our sins. It is getting the victory over sin, that is what salvation means. We get that victory over time, through the process of living thru the grace and drinking of the cup of God’s wrath against our carnal lusts. Like all words of Scripture, those words are is, was and will be. They are continuious and that process of being judged and gaining salvation will not end until we are given our new spiritual bodies. We are given the victory little by little. So anyone saying I am saved is wrong. They may can say, they are being saved but only those who endure to the end will be saved as we should never forget.

Mat 24:13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

We must finish our race in this age to be saved and be in that first resurrection. Otherwise we will fall short and be a castaway and be judged in the lake of fire with the rest of mankind. Paul tells us to not take our salvation for granted in this age, we must strive to stay on the narrow road working out our own salvation with fear and trembling.

1Co 9:27 But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.

If one is called, chosen and found faithful and that not of their own doing but of the Lord’s doing, who is working all things for the council of His will, then they will be saved in this age and will be in the first resurrection. But the key word here is faithful. NOBODY HAS ARRIVED.

Rev 17:14 These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.

So in conclusion, salvation is a process of being taught righteousness by living through the judgment of the Lord. All men are judged, but that day of judgment is the day or hour no one knows but only the Father. Far better to be judged now, to be saved now in down payment form and then be in that blessed and holy first resurrection. Then we will be used of the Lord.

1Co 11:31 For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged.
1Co 11:32 But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world.

In fact this brings out one of the mysterious ways of the Lord that orthodox Christianity and its false doctrines cannot comprehend.  The way to void being judged is to be judged now.  The only way to save your life is to lose it now.  In the same way this verse is often misapplied to claim contrary to hundreds of other verses that the people of God are not going to live thru the wrath of God.

1Th 5:9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,

But it is the SUM, not SOME of thy word that is true (Psa 119:160).  No prophecy of Scripture is of its own private interpretation (2 Pet 1:20). The Scriptures in total make in perfectly clear the only way we know Jesus Christ and enter into Him is by living thru the wrath that comes by drinking this cup. No Exceptions!

Rev 15:8 And the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God, and from his power; and no man was able to enter into the temple, till the seven plagues of the seven angels were fulfilled.

If we are found faithful and do endure to the end. We will make that first resurrection and then will be used of the Lord to judge all mankind and the angels in the lake of fire.

1Co 6:2 Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters?
1Co 6:3 Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?

I do not know where you are with your understanding of these issues so I hope you will ask more questions and go read the links I am giving you below.

Only the Elect of God, the Body of Christ, the Church, aka the Israel of God is judged in this age.  This is the suffering that has been appointed to all that believe on the real Jesus through the gift of faith.  This is the drinking of the cup and how the baptism with fire and water, both of which remake us and conform us into the Lord’s image.

Php 1:29 For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake;

Isa 48:10 Behold, I have refined thee, but not with silver; I have chosen thee in the furnace of affliction.

Everyone else is judged in the lake of fire which is the way that all men will be saved in the end. But the truth I hope you have received is that all men will be saved just as the Scriptures declare and it is not depending upon the will or any man.

1Co 15:21 For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.
1Co 15:22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
1Co 15:23 But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ’s at his coming.
1Co 15:24 Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.

The Lord has made us marred on purpose so He can remake us and conform us into His image by this process. Being made new is how we are saved.

Rev 21:5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.

It takes faith to believe these things and that all a gift. We will learn to wait on the Lord to deliver on His promises. He will because the Lord is faithful even when we, these marred vessels of clay are not.

2Ti 2:13 If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.

The Same Lump of Clay

I got a condescending message where the man totally twisted some powerful scripture to support the false doctrines he believes.   This is the second and final time I will respond to the man to whom I have shared the sincere milk of this word and corrected his assertions of several false doctrines unless the Lord grants to him repentance.

I decided to use his promotion of Romans 9 Scripture to prove his false doctrine as a teaching moment for those the Lord may be dragging.  Understanding what these Romans 9 verses actually mean is essential to knowing the true nature of the Lord and God’s plan for all men.

Question From G_______: Sure the Lord is the potter but some vessels are made to dishonor and some to honor as these verses tell us from Romans 9. God is not going to save everyone.

Romans 9:21-24Does not the potter have power over the clay, from the same lump to make one vessel for honor and another for dishonour? What if God, wanting to show His wrath and to make His power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath prepared for destruction, and that He might make known the riches of His glory on the vessels of mercy, which He had prepared beforehand for glory, even us whom He called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles?”

ANSWER: Dear G______ I find it ironic that the very verses you gave to me speak of UNIVERSAL SALVATION but you can’t even see that. The truth that all men will be saved thru Christ is right here in this passage.  In particular I am going to explore the bolded areas below from this passage that tell a great truth if one can see it.  God is not some monster wanting to pour His wrath out on us as the eternal torment doctrine teaches.  His wrath is poured out on those HE loves, it is the way salvation comes to all men in their appointed time.  Secondly, you do not understand what is meant by the word Jew and Gentile in Romans 9 and that lack of understanding will keep  you from seeing a clear “good news” message in the verses you cited.

What if God, wanting to show His wrath and to make His power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath prepared for destruction, and that He might make known the riches of His glory on the vessels of mercy, which He had prepared beforehand for glory, even us whom He called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles?

The Scriptures cited tell us God wants to show His wrath, He desires to make His power known and He will have us all to come to know the fact that He is the LORD.  A Lord of anything means He is in absolute charge of everything that happens.  Jesus is the LORD yet billions just give that fact lip service, they don’t know what being Lord means.  What the carnal mind cannot understand in its strong delusion is that Christ really is the Lord and that means He causes all things that happen to happen. In fact all Scriptures that speak to us coming to know He is the Lord speak to us going thru the wrath of God against our sins and carnal nature. That is how we come to know His true character and understand His purposes in all things. If this is not happening to you, it means you are not now a son of God and are a bastard, an illegitimate son.

Heb 12:6 For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.
Heb 12:7 If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?
Heb 12:8 But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.

The scourging and chastening is God’s wrath.  This is the righteous judgment of God poured out on our flesh which is how we all learn righteousness.

Isa 26:9 … for when thy judgments are in the earth (and not one moment prior) , the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness.

and we are that earth, this speaks of our bodies and our minds.

Jer 22:29 O earth, earth, earth, hear the word of the LORD.

Heretofore you could not see it and maybe you still can’t?  This is because false doctrines like the Trinity doctrine, eternal torment and man having free will, are keeping you blinded and solidly under the influence of Babylonian doctrines.  This is the Lord’s doing as He is the only one who can open ears and eyes and give the understanding of the truth.  We have no say so in that.  The Babylonian teaching that anyone can pick up a Bible and read and teach themselves the truth is a lie.  All of it is written in parables and the events themselves are parables and that is to hide the meaning so said the Lord.

Mat 13:10 And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables?
Mat 13:11 He answered and said unto them, Because it is GIVEN unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not GIVEN.
Mat 13:12 For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath.
Mat 13:13 Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.

So it is not your fault but you are not currently in the truth and are believing the lies of Babylon.  Everyone one of your doctrines is based on the apostate church and is what we all learn when we first come to Christ. But it is another jesus and a different gospel. We must live by every word God spoke and that includes first being deceived and walking in strong delusion once we come to know Christ in the flesh. The Lord will have mercy on us all in our appointed times but know what Christ said about why He came into this world.

Joh 9:39 And Jesus said, For judgment I am come into this world, that they which see not might see; and that they which see might be made blind.
Joh 9:40 And some of the Pharisees which were with him heard these words, and said unto him, Are we blind also?
Joh 9:41 Jesus said unto them, If ye were blind, ye should have no sin: but now ye say, We see; therefore your sin remaineth.

All the time we claim we see we are blind. Unless and until the Lord shows us via our own road to Damascus experience, we are still in darkness and separated from the truth by the veil of flesh and our sins remain. A big problem in your theology is that you do not currently know who is true jew and by extension who are the gentiles. I will help you with that Lord willing.

Rom 2:28 FOR HE IS NOT A JEW, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh:
Rom 2:29 But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

Here is another witness to what matters and tells us clearly who is ISRAEL in this age.

Gal 6:15 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth anything, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature.
Gal 6:16 and as many as walk according to this rule, peace be on them, and mercy, and upon the Israel of God.

Lastly,  these words of Christ are some we must commit to our memory.  Being a Jew in the flesh profits itself NOTHING.

Joh 6:63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

So when you read Romans 9 as you cited to me and forget who a real Jew is, you don’t understand what is being said. If you could only keep this truth in your head when you look at Scripture maybe you would be given to understand what Paul actually said in Romans 9. What Paul said is that God will make known the riches of His glory (which is Christ in you, the hope of Glory), not only to the true Jews (God’s Elect now, the true Jews who are one inwardly) but eventually to everyone else who is not now a Jew (i.e. THE GENTILES or anotherwords ALL MEN). There are only two types of men, Jews and Gentiles. Those in the covenant of faith and those that are not. Eventually all will be real “jews” but we will have to wait until the lake of fire for the multitudes to be brought into the true faith.

And what you do not realize or believe is that the process of salvation, Christ being formed in us, comes with the wrath of God being poured out on the first adam, the marred vessel of clay that cannot nor was ever intended to inherit the kingdom of God. No man enters into Christ (the real one) any other way.

Rev 15:8 And the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God, and from his power; and no man was able to enter into the temple, till the seven plagues (OF WRATH) of the seven angels were fulfilled.

Exo 6:6 Wherefore say unto the children of Israel, I am the LORD, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will rid you out of their bondage, and I will redeem you with a stretched out arm, and with great judgments:

God is merciful and patient with the marred vessels of clay HE made thru Jesus Christ. As the Scriptures you shared tell us, the first Adam, the vessel of dishonor is prepared for destruction!!!

In case you missed it, look also right here in the same Romans 9 you cited your Scripture from. You must know who Israel is to have any chance of understanding the Scriptures.

Rom 9:6 Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel:
Rom 9:7 Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called.
Rom 9:8 That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed.

Can it be any clearer? THEY ARE NOT THE CHILDREN OF GOD who are jews of the flesh! This error is a gigantic log in your eye that I am pointing out to you as it was pointed out to me in times past. We all first learn lies and then if the Lord has mercy, those tares are gathered and burned in the fire of the truth of God’s word. You like all of us who come to Christ at first, have been taught by men. You are still in Babylon, infected with the leprosy of their false doctrines. My last post spoke about the need to try the spirits and weed out false doctrines and this error of who is a jew and a gentile is huge.

The verses you cited about the vessels of honor and dishonor are awesome truths if we are given to correctly apply the Scriptures. Here is the passage again you sent me to prove God is not saving everybody and is going to pour his wrath out on these vessels of dishonor.

We, all men are both of these vessels. That is the SAME ONE LUMP. We come into this world as the first adam, marred in the hands of the potter, conceived in a body of sinful flesh. We can’t help but sin as the one lawgiver put the law of sin and death into our members.  Here is a key verse that helps one understand the two vessels from the one lump of clay.

Jer 18:4 And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter: so he made it again another vessel, as seemed good to the potter to make it.

The vessels of honor that you and I at first will assume are that evil man down the street is you and me.   We all are the vessel of dishonor before the Lord in His appointed time remakes us into the vessel of honor that can enter the kingdom of God.  Learn to apply Scripture inwardly.  Who did Paul blame his sinful ways on? It was not him, but sin, the law of “sin and death”  specifically that the potter put into him In fact we are told this twice in Romans 7.

Rom 7:17 Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.

It is not man that does it, all the evil in the world, including every sin is caused by God. All things is all things and yes that includes our very sins.

Isa 63:17  O LORD, why hast thou made us to err from thy ways, and hardened our heart from thy fear? Return for thy servants’ sake, the tribes of thine inheritance.

Pro 16:4 The LORD hath made all things for himself: yea, even the wicked for the day of evil.

Isa 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.

Amo 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city (inward or outward cities), and the LORD hath not done it?

God has not lost control. The devil is not running around loose outside of God’s control, LOL that is all carnal doctrines that result from believing the lies of the harlot.

But this is God’s plan for all men. We come in naked in sinful flesh and then that old man is destroyed in order for the new man, the Lord from heaven to come forth. All men will live this sequence of Scriptures as we will live by every word God spoke.  This explains the two vessels from the one lump and I hope you can believe it.

1Co 15:43 It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:
1Co 15:44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.
1Co 15:45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.
1Co 15:46 Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.
1Co 15:47 The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven.
1Co 15:48 As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.
1Co 15:49 And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.
1Co 15:50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.

All Israel is not Israel right now (only God’s elect are Israel) but in the end All Israel shall be saved which simply means the potter will finish His work and remake all things.

Rev 21:5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.

I hope the Lord will give you the right spirit and open your ears to receive His truths and grant you the same repentance He granted to me from my former ignorance. If you have sincere questions please submit them to me but know this commandment given to servants of the Lord.

2Ti 2:24 And the servant of the Lord must not strive (quarrel); but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient,
2Ti 2:25 In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance (Given to men, no free will involved) to the acknowledging of the truth;
2Ti 2:26 And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.
