Book of Esther Part 3 – Salvation is of the Jews

Esther Part 3 – Salvation is of the Jews

We continue in the story of Esther starting at the second day of the banquet of wine. We have seen Esther requesting the king and Haman to come to a banquet and then she requests the king and Haman to come to a banquet the next day which she is preparing for them. In a three process of judgement, two signifies coming out of her my people.

The banquet reveals Esther’s plan to save her people from destruction by Haman’s decree. Esther as a type of God’s elect, is dying daily. “Dying daily” is being “killed all day long”, and it is “lying dead in the streets of that great city where also our Lord was crucified.”

Rom 8:36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.

1Co 15:31 I protest by your rejoicing which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily.

Est 7:1 So the king and Haman came to banquet with Esther the queen.

Est 7:2 And the king said again unto Esther on the second day at the banquet of wine,  What is thy petition, queen Esther? and it shall be granted thee: and what is thy  request? and it shall be performed, even to the half of the kingdom.

A humble heart

Esther, as a type of Christ’s Bride, is humble when she comes before the king to plead  for her life and the lives of her people. Esther is seeking judgement.

Pro 11:2 When pride cometh, then cometh shame: but with the lowly [humbled] is wisdom.

A humble heart is a soft heart that is dead too self and the pulls of this world within and without. A humble heart is found in someone that is living a crucified life with Christ dying daily and accepting of the righteous judgments of the Lord. The pride of life and our confidence in the flesh is burned out of us when we love mercy and seek judgment. We begin to walk humbly when we truly offer ourselves up to our fellow man as a living sacrifice freely giving and expecting nothing in return.

Rom 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service (doing that which is our duty).

Luk 17:10 So likewise ye, when ye shall have done all those things which are commanded you, say, We are unprofitable servants: we have done that which was our duty to do.

The law, typified by Haman, is only the schoolmaster bringing us to Christ, we are  being sold for bondwomen and bondmen being under the law.

Est 7:3 Then Esther the queen answered and said, If I have found favour in thy sight, O  king, and if it please the king, let my life be given me at my petition, and my people at  my request:

Est 7:4 For we are sold, I and my people, to be destroyed, to be slain, and to perish. But  if we had been sold for bondmen and bondwomen, I had held my tongue, although the  enemy could not countervail the king’s damage.

The end goal however is Christ. We are being saved by grace through faith (Eph  2:8). We pray the Lord does not pass us by.

Gal 4:30 Nevertheless what saith the scripture? Cast out the bondwoman and her son:  for the son of the bondwoman shall not be heir with the son of the freewoman.  Gal 4:31 So then, brethren, we are not children of the bondwoman, but of the free.

Exo 33:13 Now therefore, I pray thee, if I have found grace in thy sight, shew me now thy way, that I may know thee, that I may find grace in thy sight: and consider that this nation is thy people.

Gen 18:3 And said, My Lord, if now I have found favour in thy sight, pass not away, I pray thee, from thy servant:

The king’s wrath

The king’s decision is for Esther’s request, because of her humility shown before the king:

2Ch 34:27 Because thine heart was tender, and thou didst humble thyself before God, when thou heardest his words against this place, and against the inhabitants thereof, and humbledst thyself before me, and didst rend thy clothes, and weep before me; I have even heard thee also, saith the LORD.

Jas 4:10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.

Est 7:5 Then the king Ahasuerus answered and said unto Esther the queen, Who is he,  and where is he, that durst presume in his heart to do so?

Est 7:6 And Esther said, The adversary and enemy is this wicked Haman. Then  Haman was afraid before the king and the queen.

Godly jealousy

The king is good to Esther in type and shadow is what the Lord “being good” to us really means. The Lord bringing tender mercies to us is all about the old man being destroyed in His jealousy and wrath so the new man is coming forth.

Psa 145:9 The LORD is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works.

Psa 119:156 Great are thy tender mercies, O LORD: quicken me according to thy judgments.

Heb 12:6 For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.

Rom 5:20 Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:

Est 7:7 And the king arising from the banquet of wine in his wrath went into the palace  garden: and Haman stood up to make request for his life to Esther the queen; for he  saw that there was evil determined against him by the king.

Haman, the Pharisee, within us all, hinders us to go unto the kingdom of God and  hinders others too. It defiles. It is the leaven of hypocrisy, saying and not doing.

Est 7:8 Then the king returned out of the palace garden into the place of the banquet of  wine; and Haman was fallen upon the bed whereon Esther was. Then said the king,  Will he force the queen also before me in the house? As the word went out of the king’s  mouth, they covered Haman’s face.

Luk 11:52 Woe unto you, lawyers! for ye have taken away the key of knowledge: ye  entered not in yourselves, and them that were entering in ye hindered.

Luk 11:53 And as he said these things unto them, the scribes and the Pharisees began to  urge him vehemently, and to provoke him to speak of many things:

Haman’s destruction is swift. The Lords destroys the wicked with the brightness of His  coming (2Th 2:8).

Est 7:9 And Harbonah, one of the chamberlains, said before the king, Behold also, the  gallows fifty cubits high, which Haman had made for Mordecai, who had spoken good  for the king, standeth in the house of Haman. Then the king said, Hang him thereon.

Est 7:10 So they hanged Haman on the gallows that he had prepared for Mordecai.  Then was the king’s wrath pacified.

Num 16:30 But if the LORD make a new thing, and the earth open her mouth, and  swallow them up, with all that appertain unto them, and they go down quick into the  pit; then ye shall understand that these men have provoked the LORD.

The law being changed

Est 8:1 On that day did the king Ahasuerus give the house of Haman the Jews’ enemy  unto Esther the queen. And Mordecai came before the king; for Esther had told what  he was unto her.

Est 8:2 And the king took off his ring, which he had taken from Haman, and gave it  unto Mordecai. And Esther set Mordecai over the house of Haman.

Heb 7:12 For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of  the law.

Heb 7:18 For there is verily a disannulling of the commandment going before for the  weakness and unprofitableness thereof.

Heb 7:19 For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did; by  the which we draw nigh unto God.

Saviors arise

God’s elect are His channel through which He intends to bring all men to Himself, and that includes bringing all Israel to himself when “the fullness of the Gentiles is come in:

Eze 16:55 When thy sisters, Sodom and her daughters, shall return to their former estate, and Samaria and her daughters shall return to their former estate, then thou and thy daughters shall return to your former estate.

Rom 11:32  For God hath concluded them all in unbelief, that he might have mercy upon all.

The saviours are the people of God, the Lord is raising up through whom the greater works of salvation via judgment will be accomplished.

Oba 1:21  And saviours shall come up on mount Zion to judge the mount of Esau; and the kingdom shall be the LORD’S.

Joh 14:12  Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.

Salvation is accomplished by the Spiritual Jews, God’s very Elect in this age and in the lake of fire to come.

Joh 4:22  Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews.

Continuing reading the story ….

Est 8:3 And Esther spake yet again before the king, and fell down at his feet, and  besought him with tears to put away the mischief of Haman the Agagite, and his  device that he had devised against the Jews.

Est 8:4 Then the king held out the golden sceptre toward Esther. So Esther arose, and  stood before the king,

Est 8:5 And said, If it please the king, and if I have found favour in his sight, and the  thing seem right before the king, and I be pleasing in his eyes, let it be written to  reverse the letters devised by Haman the son of Hammedatha the Agagite, which he  wrote to destroy the Jews which are in all the king’s provinces:

Est 8:6 For how can I endure to see the evil that shall come unto my people? or how  can I endure to see the destruction of my kindred?

Est 8:7 Then the king Ahasuerus said unto Esther the queen and to Mordecai the Jew,  Behold, I have given Esther the house of Haman, and him they have hanged upon the  gallows, because he laid his hand upon the Jews.

Esther, in type and shadow, is the saviour of her people as God sends Christ to be the savior of this world, so also Christ sends His Christ to be “saviors.”

Joh 20:21 Then said Jesus to them again, Peace [be] unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.

Sealed with the king’s ring

As Christ is the fullness of His Father, so too, is the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him [Christ]. Christ’s inheritance is in His saints. Without them, by God’s decree, Christ has no inheritance. Mordecai and Esther in type and shadow, are being used by the king to do his will:

Eph 1:18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,

Est 8:8 Write ye also for the Jews, as it liketh you, in the king’s name, and seal it with  the king’s ring: for the writing which is written in the king’s name, and sealed with the  king’s ring, may no man reverse.

The Lord makes known His manifold wisdom through the  Church

Eph 3:10 To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places  might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God,

Eph 3:11 According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord:

Eph 3:12 In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him.

Est 8:9 Then were the king’s scribes called at that time in the third month, that is, the  month Sivan, on the three and twentieth day thereof; and it was written according to  all that Mordecai commanded unto the Jews, and to the lieutenants, and the deputies  and rulers of the provinces which are from India unto Ethiopia, an hundred twenty  and seven provinces, unto every province according to the writing thereof, and unto  every people after their language, and to the Jews according to their writing, and  according to their language.

Est 8:10 And he wrote in the king Ahasuerus’ name, and sealed it with the king’s ring,  and sent letters by posts on horseback, and riders on mules, camels, and young  dromedaries:

Esther demonstrates how to be a yielded vessel.  She exercised the patience required to obey God, she was obedient, which produced the fruit of salvation of her people.

Esther pleases her husband

When and if we are prisoners of Christ (with patience, long suffering), we feel and act the same way as the servant towards his master. We seek to please our Husband, as His virtuous wife, and that reflects in how we act day in and day out.

Neh 2:5 And I said unto the king, If it please H2895 the king, and if thy servant have found favour in thy sight, that thou wouldest send me unto Judah, unto the city of my fathers’ sepulchres, that I may build it.

Est 1:19 If it please H2895 the king, let there go a royal commandment from him, and let it be written among the laws of the Persians and the Medes, that it be not altered, That Vashti come no more before king Ahasuerus; and let the king give her royal estate unto another that is better than she.

Est 7:3 Then Esther the queen answered and said, If I have found favour in thy sight, O king, and if it please H2895 the king, let my life be given me at my petition, and my people at my request:

Put away the wicked one

All the people is hearing…… the Jews are to be ready against that day to avenge  themselves on their enemies.

Act 1:8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

Est 8:11 Wherein the king granted the Jews which were in every city to gather  themselves together, and to stand for their life, to destroy, to slay, and to cause to  perish, all the power of the people and province that would assault them, both little  ones and women, and to take the spoil of them for a prey,

Est 8:12 Upon one day in all the provinces of king Ahasuerus, namely, upon the  thirteenth day of the twelfth month, which is the month Adar.

Est 8:13 The copy of the writing for a commandment to be given in every province was  published unto all people, and that the Jews should be ready against that day to  avenge themselves on their enemies.

Est 8:14 So the posts that rode upon mules and camels went out, being hastened and  pressed on by the king’s commandment. And the decree was given at Shushan the  palace.

A crown of gold

Est 8:15 And Mordecai went out from the presence of the king in royal apparel of blue  and white, and with a great crown of gold, and with a garment of fine linen and  purple: and the city of Shushan rejoiced and was glad.

We are striving for an incorruptible crown.

1Co 9:25 And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible.

Mordecai’s clothing represents royal apparel blue (heavenly) and white, and a garment of fine linen (righteousness of the saints) and purple (royalty).

Eze 44:16 They shall enter into my sanctuary, and they shall come near to my table, to minister unto me, and they shall keep my charge.

Eze 44:17 And it shall come to pass, that when they enter in at the gates of the inner court, they shall be clothed with linen garments; and no wool shall come upon them, whiles they minister in the gates of the inner court, and within.

There is a time when we rejoice in the Truth of the Word.

Est 8:16 The Jews had light, and gladness, and joy, and honour.

Est 8:17 And in every province, and in every city, whithersoever the king’s  commandment and his decree came, the Jews had joy and gladness, a feast and a good  day. And many of the people of the land became Jews; for the fear of the Jews fell upon  them.

Act 2:43 And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by  the apostles.

Act 2:44 And all that believed were together, and had all things common;

Act 2:45 And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every  man had need.

Act 2:46 And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread  from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,  Act 2:47 Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to  the church daily such as should be saved.

Mordecai waxes greater

Est 9:1 Now in the twelfth month, that is, the month Adar, on the thirteenth day of the  same, when the king’s commandment and his decree drew near to be put in execution,  in the day that the enemies of the Jews hoped to have power over them, (though it was  turned to the contrary, that the Jews had rule over them that hated them;)

Est 9:2 The Jews gathered themselves together in their cities throughout all the  provinces of the king Ahasuerus, to lay hand on such as sought their hurt: and no man  could withstand them; for the fear of them fell upon all people.

Est 9:3 And all the rulers of the provinces, and the lieutenants, and the deputies, and  officers of the king, helped the Jews; because the fear of Mordecai fell upon them.

Est 9:4 For Mordecai was great in the king’s house, and his fame went out throughout  all the provinces: for this man Mordecai waxed greater and greater.

Jos 3:7 And the LORD said unto Joshua, This day will I begin to magnify thee in the sight of all Israel, that they may know that, as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee.

Zec 8:12 For the seed shall be prosperous; the vine shall give her fruit, and the ground  shall give her increase, and the heavens shall give their dew; and I will cause the  remnant of this people to possess all these things.

Est 9:5 Thus the Jews smote all their enemies with the stroke of the sword, and  slaughter, and destruction, and did what they would unto those that hated them.

Est 9:6 And in Shushan the palace the Jews slew and destroyed five hundred men.

Est 9:7 And Parshandatha, and Dalphon, and Aspatha,

Est 9:8 And Poratha, and Adalia, and Aridatha,

Est 9:9 And Parmashta, and Arisai, and Aridai, and Vajezatha,

The ten sons of Haman hanged

Est 9:10 The ten sons of Haman the son of Hammedatha, the enemy of the Jews, slew  they; but on the spoil laid they not their hand.

Est 9:11 On that day the number of those that were slain in Shushan the palace was  brought before the king.

Est 9:12 And the king said unto Esther the queen, The Jews have slain and destroyed  five hundred men in Shushan the palace, and the ten sons of Haman; what have they  done in the rest of the king’s provinces? now what is thy petition? and it shall be  granted thee: or what is thy request further? and it shall be done.

Est 9:13 Then said Esther, If it please the king, let it be granted to the Jews which are  in Shushan to do tomorrow also according unto this day’s decree, and let Haman’s ten  sons be hanged upon the gallows.

Est 9:14 And the king commanded it so to be done: and the decree was given at  Shushan; and they hanged Haman’s ten sons.

The flesh has to go or better said:

Rom 7:4 Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of  Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead,  that we should bring forth fruit unto God.

Rom 7:5 For when we were in the flesh, the motions of sins, which were by the law, did  work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death.

Rom 7:6 But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were  held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.

The Jews obtain salvation through Esther and Mordecai

Let us read the story first:

Est 9:15 For the Jews that were in Shushan gathered themselves together on the  fourteenth day also of the month Adar, and slew three hundred men at Shushan; but  on the prey they laid not their hand.

Est 9:16 But the other Jews that were in the king’s provinces gathered themselves  together, and stood for their lives, and had rest from their enemies, and slew of their  foes seventy and five thousand, but they laid not their hands on the prey,

Est 9:17 On the thirteenth day of the month Adar; and on the fourteenth day of the  same rested they, and made it a day of feasting and gladness.

Est 9:18 But the Jews that were at Shushan assembled together on the thirteenth day  thereof, and on the fourteenth thereof; and on the fifteenth day of the same they rested,  and made it a day of feasting and gladness.

Est 9:19 Therefore the Jews of the villages, that dwelt in the unwalled towns, made the  fourteenth day of the month Adar a day of gladness and feasting, and a good day, and  of sending portions one to another.

Est 9:20 And Mordecai wrote these things, and sent letters unto all the Jews that were  in all the provinces of the king Ahasuerus, both nigh and far,

Est 9:21 To stablish this among them, that they should keep the fourteenth day of the  month Adar, and the fifteenth day of the same, yearly,

Est 9:22 As the days wherein the Jews rested from their enemies, and the month which  was turned unto them from sorrow to joy, and from mourning into a good day: that  they should make them days of feasting and joy, and of sending portions one to  another, and gifts to the poor.

Est 9:23 And the Jews undertook to do as they had begun, and as Mordecai had  written unto them;

Est 9:24 Because Haman the son of Hammedatha, the Agagite, the enemy of all the  Jews, had devised against the Jews to destroy them, and had cast Pur, that is, the lot,  to consume them, and to destroy them;

Est 9:25 But when Esther came before the king, he commanded by letters that his  wicked device, which he devised against the Jews, should return upon his own head,  and that he and his sons should be hanged on the gallows.

Est 9:26 Wherefore they called these days Purim after the name of Pur. Therefore for  all the words of this letter, and of that which they had seen concerning this matter, and  which had come unto them,

Est 9:27 The Jews ordained, and took upon them, and upon their seed, and upon all  such as joined themselves unto them, so as it should not fail, that they would keep these  two days according to their writing, and according to their appointed time every year;

Est 9:28 And that these days should be remembered and kept throughout every  generation, every family, every province, and every city; and that these days of Purim  should not fail from among the Jews, nor the memorial of them perish from their seed.

Est 9:29 Then Esther the queen, the daughter of Abihail, and Mordecai the Jew, wrote  with all authority, to confirm this second letter of Purim.

Est 9:30 And he sent the letters unto all the Jews, to the hundred twenty and seven  provinces of the kingdom of Ahasuerus, with words of peace and truth,

Est 9:31 To confirm these days of Purim in their times appointed, according as  Mordecai the Jew and Esther the queen had enjoined them, and as they had decreed  for themselves and for their seed, the matters of the fastings and their cry.

Est 9:32 And the decree of Esther confirmed these matters of Purim; and it was  written in the book.

Est 10:1 And the king Ahasuerus laid a tribute upon the land, and upon the isles of the  sea.

Est 10:2 And all the acts of his power and of his might, and the declaration of the  greatness of Mordecai, whereunto the king advanced him, are they not written in the  book of the chronicles of the kings of Media and Persia?

Est 10:3 For Mordecai the Jew was next unto king Ahasuerus, and great among the  Jews, and accepted of the multitude of his brethren, seeking the wealth of his people,  and speaking peace to all his seed.

This story ends in the salvation of the Jews and the destruction of their enemies who would have destroyed them. This brings us to the question of how the kingdoms of this world will be given over to the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb, who is and will be ruling the earth for “a thousand years”. These events in the book of Esther, are types and shadows and happened and are written for our admonition (1Co 10:11).

The story of Esther and Mordecai symbolizes the destruction of the enemies of God’s elect who wants to destroy us. In this study we focus on the within and we know there will be a without at the appointed times. All of these events foreshadow in some way what is taking place before we are being given our rulership of the kingdoms of this world just as Mordecai and Esther were given dominion over all the provinces of the Medo-Persian empire, after destroying those who would destroy them. Mordecai and Esther, as types of us, are separated from Christ first by Vashti and then by Haman. Both symbolize the enemies of the cross of Christ.

Php 3:18 (For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ:

Php 3:19 Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things).

This is what we are told happens at that time when the kingdoms of this world… become the kingdoms of our Lord and His Christ within and without in its seasons.

Rev 11:1 And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein.

Rev 11:2 But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months. [Luk 21:24 “…until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled. “]

Rev 11:3 And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.

Rev 11:4 These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.

Rev 11:5 And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed.

It is only after God’s elect (Esther) come to be favored by the powers that be (king Ahasuerus), that the ten horns (Haman) makes war with the Lamb and are being destroyed by the Lamb (Rev 17:14). Haman is promoted by the king after the rejection of Vashti. Haman, as the Pharisee, is the enemy of the Jews. We are being hated and threatened for our lives within before we are being given to destroy our enemies. It is “the Lord and His Christ” who are typified by Mordecai and the people of Esther who are being slated for destruction by our enemies. We are naturally enemies of Christ because the carnal mind is not able to be subject to Christ and is being created in vanity.

As a type of Christ, Esther lays down her life for her people by appearing before the king without first being given a summons from the king and typifies our being willing to be “crucified with Christ” even as our enemies are intent upon our destruction.

The deliverance of Mordecai and Esther and the Jews from the gallows of Haman, all typify how we are being given favor of the leaders of this world within and in due time without, before we are being delivered from the hands of the ten horns of that same beast. This is just saying we first eat of the tree of good and evil before we eat of the tree of Life. The kingdoms of this world supernaturally become the kingdoms of our Lord and His Christ as Christ and His angels destroys the old man. Haman is hanged on the same gallows he had intended for Mordecai……. Out of your own mouth you will be judged your wicked servant…. (Luk 19:22).

In every case our salvation comes only after it becomes abundantly evident that the enemy is winning…… the law is not for a righteous man but for murderers …… and it is all intended to convey to us that we are being drafted by God and are not seeking to be offered up, and when we are disobedient when slaying the Lord, we, are not the winners but the losers, and that the Lord and us was and are being saved from death… in that He feared and we are being taught to fear Him.

Heb 5:7 Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared;

Esther as type is a shadow of Christ and His Christ who say the same thing under the same circumstances:

Luk 22:42 Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.

It is very interesting that it is “the king” who orders both the destruction and the salvation of the Lord’s people. It is at the banquet that Esther is promised by the king to give her request “to the half of [his] kingdom”. Esther, as the type of God’s elect, devises a means of overcoming the impossible task of reversing the effect of the king’s proclamation to destroy all the Jews in all of his 127 provinces (Est 1:1). These 127 provinces typify “the nations in the four quarters of the earth” over whom God’s elect are granted to rule for a thousand years:

Rev 2:26 And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations:

Rev 2:27 And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father.

This “broken to shivers” prophecy was fulfilled in type when the Jews were given to destroy all their enemies throughout the entire 127 provinces of the Medo-Persian empire (Est 9:1-4). This story, along with the story of Joseph and the story of Daniel and Shadrach, Meshech and Abednego, gives us the principles by which Christ is supernaturally making “the kingdoms of this world to become the kingdoms of our Lord and His Christ”. He troubles the powers that be, and He strikes them with a fear that cause us to favor His Word to the point we see Christ and His Christ as our only salvation. His is the power which gives men their thoughts, and with that power He is capable of working all things after the counsel of His own will (Eph 1:11).

Isa 66:15 For, behold, the LORD will come with fire, and with his chariots like a whirlwind, to render his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire.

Isa 66:16  For by fire and by his sword will the LORD plead with all flesh: and the slain of the LORD shall be many.

Isa 66:17  They that sanctify themselves, and purify themselves in the gardens behind one tree in the midst, eating swine’s flesh, and the abomination, and the mouse, [all the abominable false doctrines of men] shall be consumed together, saith the LORD.

Isa 66:18  For I know their works and their thoughts: it shall come, that I will gather all nations and tongues; and they shall come, and see my glory.

Luk 12:32 Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the  kingdom.

Luk 1:54 He hath holpen his servant Israel, in remembrance of his mercy; Psa 112:6 Surely, he shall not be moved forever: the righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance.

Ecc 7:8 Better is the end of a thing than the beginning thereof: and the patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit

And lastly, looking at the word Pur, Purim, reveals the meaning of a broken piece.

H6332 פּוּר    פּוּרים    פּרים pûr  pûrı̂ym  pûrı̂ym poor, poo-reem’, poo-reem’ From H6331; a lot (as by means of a broken piece): – Pur, Purim.

Last week we saw Habakkuk acknowledge the work of the Lord’s Christ, The Body in bringing the fire and light to bear that is saving us.  Light shining on our sins is necessary for sins to be confessed, forgiven and ultimately cleansed by the love of God growing in our hearts. Trusting in the Lord’s promises to come we stand in faith and rejoice in the glory to be revealed.

Rom 5:1  Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:

Rom 5:2  By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

The sun and the moon of the old man, are standing still and bowing down to the Truth.  All the lies and strength of our flesh will be devoured when the Lord is come with His armies.

Rev 19:13  And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.

Rev 19:14  And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.

We are being saved by each other and collectively Jesus Christ as His Body in which He has come in the flesh.  We see our salvation in progress and the “is, was and will be” character of the Word as we are turned and brought into the marvelous light that is The Christ.  The seven golden candlesticks are the Christ, the church by which the wisdom of God is being imparted into a new heaven and new earth.

Rev 1:12  And I turned to see the voice that spake with me. And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks;

Rev 1:13  And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle.

Habakkuk did not have a clue to the deep spiritual truths and symbolism’s he was writing when the Spirit of God gave him these words, but he was very much ministering God’s Elect who would not arise until the day of Pentecost (1Co 10:11, 1Pe 1:10-12).  Which leads us to our verses for today that will also complete the Prophecy of Habakkuk.

Hab 3:12  Thou didst march through the land in indignation, thou didst thresh the heathen in anger.

Hab 3:13  Thou wentest forth for the salvation of thy people, even for salvation with thine anointed; thou woundedst the head out of the house of the wicked, by discovering the foundation unto the neck. Selah.

Hab 3:14  Thou didst strike through with his staves the head of his villages: they came out as a whirlwind to scatter me: their rejoicing was as to devour the poor secretly.

Hab 3:15  Thou didst walk through the sea with thine horses, through the heap of great waters.

Hab 3:16  When I heard, my belly trembled; my lips quivered at the voice: rottenness entered into my bones, and I trembled in myself, that I might rest in the day of trouble: when he cometh up unto the people, he will invade them with his troops.

Hab 3:17  Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls:

Hab 3:18  Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation.

Hab 3:19  The LORD God is my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds’ feet, and he will make me to walk upon mine high places. To the chief singer on my stringed instruments.

It is the unfaithful and unbelieving carnal man of sin upon whom the Lord’s anger is always focused in the day of judgment.

Joh 3:36  He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

Through Him we will be baptized and drink of the cup of wrath that is delivered through the Body of Christ.

Rev 14:10  The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:

Until this wrath subsides, and we learn to walk by faith, we will not be given to enter His rest.

Heb 3:11  So I sware in my wrath, They shall not enter into my rest.

Rev 14:19  And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God.

Gaining the mind of Christ comes about only by being beheaded.   Coming to see our marred abominable condition as flesh (Mat 24:15) and sinful nature as brute beasts (Ecc 3:18) is done by the light of the world.  The day of the Lord will reveal the wicked which will be destroyed by the brightness of Jesus Christ.

2Th 2:8  And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming

It is the Body, both now and in the future (we are the lake of fire); who pour out the seven vials that will complete the Lord’s work and save us.  It is these fiery trials and chastening that saves.

Rev 15:1  And I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvellous, seven angels having the seven last plagues; for in them is filled up the wrath of God

This is the third time we see “Selah”, meaning INTERLUDE or BREAK in Habakkuk’s prayer adding importance to the Truth just told on which we should be meditating.  The profound truth of the roles of the Body and that only here “in Christ” is salvation to be found (Oba 1:21) is just that  important to remember.  Habakkuk further acknowledges the work of the Body of Christ in bringing destruction to his man of sin and by the ensample given to our man of sin.

The Lord’s people are redeemed with judgment (Isa 1:27) that us smiting the old man and the heads of the chiefs and princes in the land, nations and cities within us (Luk 17:21).

Hab 3:14  Thou didst strike through with his staves the head of his villages: they came out as a whirlwind to scatter me: their rejoicing was as to devour the poor secretly.

The word “staves” here is the plural of staff and is more often used as ROD [H4294].  Habakkuk is speaking here to the chastening grace that which is beheading the chiefs of the heathen nations within us and bringing about the mind of Christ (a new heaven) as we are corrected in our judgment.   This is the function of grace.

Tit 2:11  For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,

Tit 2:12  Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;

It is The Christ of Christ who minister grace and bring it via the Word.

1Pe 4:10  As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.

Eze 34:16  I will seek that which was lost, and bring again that which was driven away, and will bind up that which was broken, and will strengthen that which was sick: but I will destroy the fat and the strong; I will feed them with judgment.

The whirling wheels of Ezekiel are the brethren, grace ministers who are used of the Lord to teach and correct those the Lord is saving in this age.  Like Job, the Lord will teach us in our judgment out of the whirlwind (Job 40:6-8).  Collectively, the Body is that whirlwind (aka tempest) where the fiery trials and storms of life are the norm rather than the exception.

Isa 41:16  Thou shalt fan them, and the wind shall carry them away, and the whirlwind shall scatter them: and thou shalt rejoice in the LORD, and shalt glory in the Holy One of Israel.

The Lord’s heavenly army speaks the words that take captive sin (Jer 5:14) and provide the strength through faith to overcome the flesh.  In this verse, being poor is a negative meaning one is outside of faith and having little treasures in heaven.  Such a one leans on their own understanding and the righteousness of the law (self-righteousness) that is hidden in their hearts and minds.   Yet God sees our hearts and is changing us via the fiery words we hear from Christ.  Our lies and unbelief are gobbled up at the great supper announced by the Elect angels of the Lord.

Rev 19:17  Then I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the birds that fly in the midst of heaven, “Come and gather together for the supper of the great God,

Rev 19:18  that you may eat the flesh of kings, the flesh of captains, the flesh of mighty men, the flesh of horses and of those who sit on them, and the flesh of all people, free and slave, both small and great.”

It is at this great supper aka marriage feast that we the Body of Christ are dying daily as a living sacrifice to our flesh.  It is here at the wedding feast where we are being given to overcome all things.

Mat 22:4  Again, he sent forth other servants, saying, Tell them which are bidden, Behold, I have prepared my dinner: my oxen and my fatlings are killed, and all things are ready: come unto the marriage.

We first come unprepared to the feast not having been through trials of faith and needing more to be given a proper wedding garment that contains none of our own righteousness.  Such is the purpose for the temporary prosperity of the wicked (Hab 1:12) we bemoan at first and our being stripped naked, so we can be given His garments.

Php 3:9  And be found in him, not having mine erown righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:

The Lord and His Armies are bringing the war in heaven (Rev 12:7) and helping us to fight the good fight of faith.  This results in salvation and destroys the sea that represents the flesh and carnal mindedness of all mankind.

Hab 3:15  Thou didst walk through the sea with thine horses, through the heap of great waters.

These clay vessels of mankind are what the  heap of great waters symbolizes.  The translators really obscured the meaning of this verse, by inventing a once off use of H2563 as “heap”.

H2563, chômer

Flesh is clay and is also represented as the sea in scripture.  Some examples…

Isa 60:5  Then thou shalt see, and flow together, and thine heart shall fear, and be enlarged; because the abundance of the sea shall be converted unto thee, the forces of the Gentiles shall come unto thee.

Psa 18:16  He sent from above, he took me, he drew me out of many waters.

Psa 40:2  He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings.

The new heaven and earth (mind and walk) coming to all mankind will have no more seas once all flesh is destroyed at the Great White Throne Judgment.  Such time is now in down payment form for the Elect and who are the first to be judged in the fire (1Pe 4:17).

Rev 21:1  And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

We all are brought to our wits end of crying out for deliverance only by the Lord working many trials, tribulations and storms (i.e His wonders) in our seas.  These are the wonderful works of the Lord to the Israel of God and the means devised through which we are being saved.

Psa 107:23  They that go down to the sea in ships, that do business in great waters;

Psa 107:24  These see the works of the LORD, and his wonders in the deep.

Psa 107:25  For he commandeth, and raiseth the stormy wind, which lifteth up the waves thereof.

Psa 107:26  They mount up to the heaven, they go down again to the depths: their soul is melted because of trouble.

Psa 107:27  They reel to and fro, and stagger like a drunken man, and are at their wits’ end.

Psa 107:28  Then they cry unto the LORD in their trouble, and he bringeth them out of their distresses.

Psa 107:29  He maketh the storm a calm, so that the waves thereof are still.

Psa 107:30  Then are they glad because they be quiet; so he bringeth them unto their desired haven.

Our desired haven in is to walk by faith which means flesh is silent and in submission to the Lord.  This is how the promised rest for God’s people is entered into.  Finding His Rest is not entered into except with much tribulation

Hab 3:16  When I heard, my belly trembled; my lips quivered at the voice: rottenness entered into my bones, and I trembled in myself, that I might rest in the day of trouble: when he cometh up unto the people, he will invade them with his troops.

Hearing the word is how faith comes (Rom 10:17) and how the old man is decreased and destroyed from the inside out. Our gift of faith and ears to hear, which allows us to eat at the King’s table (Heb 13:10) brings with it fiery trials and bitterness to our flesh.

Rev 10:9  And I went unto the angel, and said unto him, Give me the little book. And he said unto me, Take it, and eat it up; and it shall make thy belly bitter, but it shall be in thy mouth sweet as honey.

Eze 2:10  And he spread it before me; and it was written within and without: and there was written therein lamentations, and mourning, and woe.

The entire phrase “he will invade them with His troops” all comes from the Hebrew word H1464 “gud” that is used in its only other use to mean to overcome.

Gen 49:19  Gad, a troop shall overcome him: but he shall overcome at the last.

This is just another witness that it is through Christ, His Body, that salvation comes.  We are His troops (Rev 19) and it is by sojourning with this army (Christ), that we walk in the light and are cleansed from our sins (1Jo 1:7).

Habakkuk and us by living through our experience of evil is coming to see the Lord’s power at work in his life and the life of Israel.   With maturity we gain the faith and wisdom to begin to give thanks for all this trouble knowing it is the very thing saving us.  All things are truly for our sakes says the Scripture (2Co 4:15) yet coming to know this truth deeply takes time and it is only then we can begin to rejoice in the Lord and give thanks for ALL THINGS.  All of our suffering and dying is good stuff and for an intended good.

Rom 8:18  For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

Rom 8:19  For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.

Rom 8:20  For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope,

Rom 8:21  Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.

The righteous will fall down seven times but they get right back up (Pro 24:16).  This is us as we are encouraged in faith, and look to the hope of salvation and are no longer doubting  in the Lord’s promises.   It is in this place of rest where we are able to weather the storms the Lord is working in our seas and help and comfort others who are behind us in this learning.  No matter what we see in the physical we are learning to spiritual sing songs of rejoicing to the Lord.

The works of the flesh AND the works of the Spirit are all the Lord’s work in us.  Whether we do good or evil, sprout or wither, succeed or fail, have plenty or endure famine; the Scriptures declare it is all of HIM.  All things are by Him and we in Him.

1Co 8:6  But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.

Act 17:28  For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.

All things the Lord does work together for the greater good in preparing those He loves for service in His Kingdom (Rom 8:28).  It is coming to truly believe this, despite what our physical senses and the wisdom of this world say, that allow us to rest in Christ and rejoice.

Psa 107:22  And let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and declare his works with rejoicing.

Psa 48:11  Let mount Zion rejoice, let the daughters of Judah be glad, because of thy judgments

Rev 19:7  Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.

All things are proven in the Lord’s kingdom and that includes our faith (1Pe 1:7).  I hope we have grown to see the Lord’s purpose and hands at work in trying us in all of our seasons of life.  Nothing will separate us from the love of Christ, all these situations and seasons in our lives are HIS WORK and are being used to reshape us.  We should and will learn to rejoice in Him no matter our circumstances.

Rom 8:35  Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

Rom 8:36  As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.

Rom 8:37  Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

Rom 8:38  For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,

Rom 8:39  Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Gal 4:27  For it is written, Rejoice, thou barren that bearest not; break forth and cry, thou that travailest not: for the desolate hath many more children than she which hath an husband.

1Pe 4:13  But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ’s sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.

When we prove faithful, the Lord promotes us and gives us more things to rule over.  This is how dominion comes and our joy in the Lord increases little by little as we mature.

Mat 25:23  His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.

Isa 51:11  Therefore the redeemed of the LORD shall return, and come with singing unto Zion; and everlasting joy shall be upon their head: they shall obtain gladness and joy; and sorrow and mourning shall flee away.

Making our feet like hind’s feet is the Lord causing us to follow HIM.  This is how we will tread on the high places (false gods and idols) and be overcoming the beast and all the giants in the land.  The Lord is our head, whom we follow through which we will get the victory if we stay connected to the living Christ.  The people are God, His sheep are led by the Spirit and go whichsoever way HE leads them (Joh 10:27).

Eze 1:12  And they went every one straight forward: whither the spirit was to go, they went; and they turned not when they went.

Eze 1:13  As for the likeness of the living creatures, their appearance was like burning coals of fire, and like the appearance of lamps: it went up and down among the living creatures; and the fire was bright, and out of the fire went forth lightning.

Habakkuk ends with a notation to the chief singer on his stringed instruments.  This Psalm is written to us as an encouragement and admonition to stay the course.   The just shall live by His faith!  We are the singers and musicians [H5329] having been taught a new song no other man can sing.

Rev 14:1  And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father’s name written in their foreheads.

Rev 14:2  And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder: and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps:

Rev 14:3  And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth.

Psa 149:1  Praise ye the LORD. Sing unto the LORD a new song, and his praise in the congregation of saints.

Psa 149:2  Let Israel rejoice in him that made him: let the children of Zion be joyful in their King.

Our names are written in heaven and the Lord admonishes us all to rejoice in that above everything else.

Luk 10:20  Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.

Everyone of us is right on schedule, exactly where the Lord planned it from the beginning of the world (Psa 139:16, Isa 46:10).  The Lord is faithful even when we are not.  I hope we all can grow in faith and be prepared to stand strong in the trials we know are coming (1Pe 4:13) to shape and mold us as the Lord completes the good work He started in us.

1Jn 3:2  Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

The Lord is Faithful

Key Verses:  Micah 7:16 – 7:20

The most basic promise of God is the salvation of all men. This was what the Lord swore with  an oath to Abraham and reconfirmed with Isaac, Jacob and the Elect Apostles when true faith was given. All men, nations, and families will be saved and they will come to be blessed in the Christ.

Gen 28:14 And thy seed shall be as the dust of the earth, and thou shalt spread abroad to the west, and to the east, and to the north, and to the south: and in thee and in thy seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed.

Eph 1:10 That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in The Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him:

The sum of the Word makes it clear that the blessing being spoken of is the judgment of God that brings salvation. This is how the word of the Lord is performed and works righteousness.

Rev 22:7 Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book.

Psa 106:3 Blessed are they that keep judgment, and he that doeth righteousness at all times.

The Lord is faithful even when men are not. The promise is made and it shall be in the times appointed of the Lord. Our sins are taken away by the remaking of the marred vessel of clay.

Rom 11:26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:

Rom 11:27 For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.

Here are the final five verses of the Book of Micah.

Mic 7:16 The nations shall see and be confounded at all their might: they shall lay their hand upon their mouth, their ears shall be deaf.

Mic 7:17 They shall lick the dust like a serpent, they shall move out of their holes like worms of the earth: they shall be afraid of the LORD our God, and shall fear because of thee.

Mic 7:18 Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth in mercy.

Mic 7:19 He will turn again, he will have compassion upon us; he will subdue our iniquities; and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea.

Mic 7:20 Thou wilt perform the truth to Jacob, and the mercy to Abraham, which thou hast sworn unto our fathers from the days of old.

These events spoken of in the outward fulfillment span a large number of human years. Even inwardly it seems it takes forever to be transformed and to go through judgment and to be delivered from our sin. Yet the Word says our life is a vapor, here today and gone tomorrow. The lies and false doctrines that are nigh unto cursing take a “long” process to be burned out of us. These concluding verses in Micah are part of the same “one dream” (Gen 41:25) that is shown to Lord’s prophets before He brings it pass. In spiritual times, the events in our lives take place quickly and suddenly and like everything else in life, happen exactly on the Lord’s timetable.

Isa 46:10 Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure

2Pe 3:8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

These verses in Micah and all of Scripture have both an inward and outward application and are “is, was and will be”. We have seen this prophecy of judgment happening in parallel throughout the whole Book. God’s Elect live this “day” out now in this age. This prophecy (“will be”) is speaking to future events that involve the Elect, specifically the Millennium Reign of Christ and the judgment of all men in the Lake of Fire. It is the Lord’s Christ who will witness for the Lord and rule the earth and minister salvation to all men.

Isa 49:6 And he said, It is a light thing that thou shouldest be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved of Israel: I will also give thee for a light to the Gentiles, that thou mayest be my salvation unto the end of the earth.

1Co 6:2 Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters? (Millennium Reign)

1Co 6:3 Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life? (Lake of Fire)

Our first verse to look deeper is verse 16.

Mic 7:16 The nations shall see and be confounded at all their might: they shall lay their hand upon their mouth, their ears shall be deaf.

The Lord is raising up Kings and Priests via the “on the job” experience learned as judgment is executed upon the heathen nations within us and those nations are ruled with a rod of iron. The final training experience for the ultimate role as saviors to all of mankind in the Lake of Fire (Oba 1:21) is the period of outward ruling and reigning with Christ for the 1,000 years. He that overcomes in this age will be given to rule in the ages to come.

Rev 2:26 And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations:

Rev 2:27 And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father.

Not one soul will be converted during the entire Millennium. All men will be yet carnal and separated from the knowledge and wisdom of God. Devoid of ears to hear and eyes to see, those in the flesh under the rule of Christ will be confounded. His ways are above the ways of the flesh and cannot understand the mind of Christ through the prism of the mind of a beast. The rulership of God’s Elect will confound the wisdom of the of the carnal mind of those that populate the earth during this period.

1Co 1:27 But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;

Psa 129:5 Let them all be confounded and turned back that hate Zion.

The outward signs and global rulership will strike great fear in their hearts and keep them in subjection to the Elect who will be reigning over the whole earth.

Rev 11:11 And after three days and an half the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them.

The people being ruled by Christ will fear because they have yet to learn the perfect love of obedience that casts out fear. Instead they will live in constant fear just as Israel did in the wilderness and Joseph’s brothers’ waiting for Jacob to die and fearful of what “Christ would do to them”.

Deu 11:25 There shall no man be able to stand before you: for the LORD your God shall lay the fear of you and the dread of you upon all the land that ye shall tread upon, as he hath said unto you.

During the Millennium, Satan will be bound until the little season at the end. It will be a time of peace and as all rebellion will be put down. The yet carnal nations of this earth will hold their peace until the Lord seeks the occasion to put an end to flesh and releases Satan to bring the world against the camp of the saints. This ushers in the final harvest of souls at the white throne judgment which is the lake of fire.

Rev 20:7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,

Rev 20:8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.

Rev 20:9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.

Rev 20:10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

Rev 20:11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.

Mic 7:17 They shall lick the dust like a serpent, they shall move out of their holes like worms of the earth: they shall be afraid of the LORD our God, and shall fear because of thee.

Satan is bound and is therefore no longer eating dust during the Millennium reign. Instead those alive are said to be licking dust. A yet carnal mankind can only think about their carnal reasoning’s in their submission to the rulership of The Christ. This was shown us in type and shadow in the story of Joseph and his brothers.

Gen 42:6 And Joseph was the potentate over the land, the one selling to all the people of the earth. And Joseph’s brothers came in and bowed to him, face down to the earth.

Mankind is all Israel and one day all mankind will be our true brother and sisters in Christ.  They too will lick dust when they also bow down in fear of Christ and the revealing of the sons of God.

Rev 3:9 Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.

Isa 61:9 And their seed shall be known among the Gentiles, and their offspring among the people: all that see them shall acknowledge them, that they are the seed which the LORD hath blessed.

Receiving the prize for overcoming includes being raised up as kings for the Lord and ruling over the nations. Fear of the Lord and fear of His Christ keeps the nations and kingdoms of this earth under firm rule until the little season of rebellion at the end.

Psa 66:3  Say unto God, How terrible art thou in thy works! through the greatness of thy power shall thine enemies submit themselves unto thee.

The serpents (heathen) moving from their holes shows that under the rule of Christ, the people of the earth are being moved from the comfort zone and “hideouts” from the Lord. Psalm 18 reveals this and translates H4526 as “close places”. The enemies of David, are the enemies of Christ and His Christ, and we are made the head of the heathen world who will bow down and serve “Christ”.

Psa 18:43 Thou hast delivered me from the strivings of the people; and thou hast made me the head of the heathen: a people whom I have not known shall serve me.

Psa 18:44 As soon as they hear of me, they shall obey me: the strangers shall submit themselves unto me.

Psa 18:45 The strangers shall fade away, and be afraid out of their close places.

The Elect will dictate every minor detail of how the world is governed as the people of the earth submit to Christ.

Mic 7:18  Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth in mercy.

Forgiveness of sins does not mean that restitution is forfeited. Forgiveness of sins does not negate the necessity for justice. Forgiveness of sins does not nullify this truth.

Gal 6:7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

All the events leading to our salvation are the mercy of the Lord in action. We reviewed this specifically in Part 18 Worshiping in Spirit & Truth where mercy was linked to blotting out of sins or said another way mercy is what ushers in salvation.

Psa 51:1 To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David, when Nathan the prophet came unto him, after he had gone in to Bathsheba. Have mercy [H2617] upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions.

Blotting them out is accomplished by the judgment of the Lord that comes from the scourging chastening grace that is given to those the Lord loves (Heb 12:6). The result of mercy is our learning obedience to His commandments.

Psa 119:124 Deal with thy servant according unto thy mercy, and teach me thy statutes.

Pro 16:6 By mercy and truth iniquity is purged: and by the fear of the LORD men depart from evil.

Mercy and love (our obedience) go hand in glove. The scourging grace of God is where mercy is found and what we should look for to hasten the coming of the Lord.

Heb 5:8 Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered;

The Lord is executing His plan of the salvation of all men to perfection. Whatsoever His counsel has determined to be done before hand, is done right on schedule (Psa 139:16, Isa 46:10).

1Co 15:22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.

1Co 15:23 But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ’s at his coming.

Drinking the cup of the Lord’s wrath against our sins in order to learn righteousness is just a small moment of time in the grand scheme of things when compared to “eternal life”. The trials, tribulation, and suffering of mankind all have a purpose in salvation and one day all will look back to understand. That purpose is salvation that comes by us being changed and transformed into the image of God.

Psa 30:5 For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.

Isa 54:7 For a small moment have I forsaken thee; but with great mercies will I gather thee.

Isa 54:8 In a little wrath I hid my face from thee for a moment; but with everlasting kindness will I have mercy on thee, saith the LORD thy Redeemer.

The word translated as Pardoneth here in Micah 7:18 is actually the word for bear or long suffering. Substitutionary atonement is a big lie of Babylon. Man will indeed be punished and judged for their sins. But the Lord is long suffering with man. He bears with us for as long as it takes to bring salvation to those He has chosen in this age and ultimately all of mankind.

2Pe 3:9  The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

1Co 13:4  Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,

The Christ of Christ (His Elect) will be as the Lord (Joh 20:21, 1Jo 4:17). This means we are being taught the patience and longsuffering of the Lord in this age.

1Th 5:14  Now we exhort you, brethren, warn them that are unruly, comfort the feebleminded, support the weak, be patient toward all men.

Gal 5:22  But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,

2Ti 4:2  Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.

The writing of the law of Christ on our SPIRITUAL HEART, comes about by us enduring judgment and being longsuffering in waiting for the Lord. That is the way of salvation.

Heb 8:10 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:

Heb 8:11 And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest.

Heb 8:12 For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.

Mic 7:19 He will turn again, he will have compassion upon us; he will subdue our iniquities; and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea.

The Lord turns us into destruction and into sin and He also turns us back. All of this is the Lord’s work in us His vessels of clay over which He is the Potter.

Isa 63:17 O LORD, why hast thou made us to err from thy ways, and hardened our heart from thy fear? Return for thy servants’ sake, the tribes of thine inheritance.

Apart from Christ we truly do NOTHING (Joh 15:5) as the Lord wills and ways in us according to what was declared from the beginning (Isa 46:10, Psa 139:16).

Rom 9:16 So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.

The Lord plan was always to destroy flesh (1Co 15:50). Flesh cannot inherit the kingdom of God and is symbolized in Scripture by the seas. Flesh or the sea is being destroyed and along with it our sins will be no more.

Rev 21:1  And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

Rev 21:2  And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

The Lord’s prayer teaches us to hasten our sanctification and the appearing of the Lord within us. We pray in faith for the Lord’s will be done and those sins, those mountains and the pride of life, to be cast into the sea that “is, was and will be” being destroyed.

Mar 11:23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

Here is the concluding verse of the Book of Micah.

Mic 7:20  Thou wilt perform [H5414] the truth to Jacob, and the mercy to Abraham, which thou hast sworn unto our fathers from the days of old.

It is the WORD of God that works the work of righteousness in all men the very day they begin to hear it. Christ is His Word and it is the Word being preached and heard that sanctifies us and brings salvation in our day of the Lord. This Word of God is a living Word that needs to be given a vessel prepared to hear it and BAM —–> judgment is now on the house of God and the turning back to God, the repentance of mankind begins.

Pro 1:23  Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you.

The word translated as PERFORM here in the KJV is actually the word that is used hundreds of times as GIVE or DELIVER and variations thereof.  It is only used as perform ONE TIME in nearly 2,000 occurrences.

This just confirms faith is a gift and it is that giving of the gift of the WORD which initiates and then completes the work of God in the lives of every man. When the Word is given to a man it never returns void (Isa 55;11). It always accomplishes its purpose.

Jos 21:45 There failed not ought of any good thing which the LORD had spoken unto the house of Israel; all came to pass.

Mat 24:34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.

Performing the Truth is performing THE WORD because the Word is Truth.

Joh 17:17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.

Psa 119:160 (ASV) The sum of thy word is truth; And every one of thy righteous ordinances endureth forever.

The Body of Christ is the Holy City, the New Jerusalem, through which all men will enter in due time. As the instruments of salvation, we will bring the nations and all men to Christ as we guard the way to the tree of life.

Gen 3:24 So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.

Rev 21:23  And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.

Rev 21:24  And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it.

Micah has taught us a lot about the journey towards maturity and our need to be constantly winnowed down via judgment. We have many things to learn but cannot bear them all at once.   Like a child it takes growing up to mature. There are no shortcuts.

Joh 16:12 I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now.

If anything I hope this study has given you greater faith in the Word and the promises of the Lord. He will deliver us and is delivering us and all men without fail! This book of Micah gave us some more of the details and it all fits perfectly with what we already knew and hold as the Truth. We need to wait patiently in faith for the Lord.

Php 1:6  Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:

Zec 4:9  The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house; his hands shall also finish it; and thou shalt know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me unto you.

Hopefully we all aspire to make the first resurrection to be found faithful. The Scriptures do not lie and they tell us that if we are to make it, we must stay together as a Body and continue to strive and labor as we press forward for the prize of the HIGHER CALLING.

Php 3:14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

Our learning the ways of God now in the Body in our day of the Lord will continue in the Millennium and come to a consummation when we shall judge all matters of life in the lake of fire. This is a serious calling and one that requires we abide in the fire now in our suffering and persecution.

Luk 9:22  Saying, The Son of man (Christ, The Elect) must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be slain, and be raised the third day.

We are all getting there on the road to maturity. It sure seems that the day of Christ return to setup His outward kingdom and bring the full redemption to His Elect is not too far away.

1Co 15:51  Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,

1Co 15:52  In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

Saviours From Bethlehem

Key Verses Micah 5:1 – 5:6

Our verses in Micah Chapter 5 will once again speak to the “is, was and will be” nature of the Word of God. These Scriptures foretell what the Elect of God, the chosen few, are living out inwardly in the IS and WAS context now as we are brought to maturity through our trials and tribulations. Yet these words of Micah also speak to the WILL BE fulfillment of God’s plan and how He will use His Elect to be the Lake of Fire and usher in the salvation of all. Here are the verses for today.

Mic 5:1 Now gather thyself in troops, O daughter of troops: he hath laid siege against us: they shall smite the judge of Israel with a rod upon the cheek.

Mic 5:2 But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.

Mic 5:3 Therefore will he give them up, until the time that she which travaileth hath brought forth: then the remnant of his brethren shall return unto the children of Israel.

Mic 5:4 And he shall stand and feed in the strength of the LORD, in the majesty of the name of the LORD his God; and they shall abide: for now shall he be great unto the ends of the earth.

Mic 5:5 And this man shall be the peace, when the Assyrian shall come into our land: and when he shall tread in our palaces, then shall we raise against him seven shepherds, and eight principal men.

Mic 5:6 And they shall waste the land of Assyria with the sword, and the land of Nimrod in the entrances thereof: thus shall he deliver us from the Assyrian, when he cometh into our land, and when he treadeth within our borders.

The Body of Christ are the anointed of God and the instrument through which His work is done. The words of fire we speak judge us now in the Body and if we endure will judge all men and all nations in the ages to come. Christ was sent to save the world and it is through His Christ that it is being accomplished now first in His sons and then later in all humanity.

Joh 20:21 Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.

Joh 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him (The Body) might be saved.

To get the job done of saving mankind, our Lord had to pour out His blood and we in turn will also drink of that same cup (Mat 20:23). It is through death of our old man now that we become the living sacrifice for the Lord and by that sacrifice the saviours of men. We are drinking of this cup, the suffering, the trials and tribulations that the Elect are appointed to endure now in this age if we belong to Christ (Phi 1:29).

Mat 26:28 For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins (salvation)
Mat 26:29 But I say unto you, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father’s kingdom.

Let’s explore the verses in greater detail and distinguish the IS, NOW and WILL BE applications of these prophetic Words.

Mic 5:1 Now gather thyself in troops, O daughter of troops: he hath laid siege against us: they shall smite the judge of Israel with a rod upon the cheek.

The Lord destroys our old man by judgment as this is the process by which we are corrected (Jer 2:19) and learn righteousness (Isa 26:9). Flesh is caused to rise up against God’s people, Christ within us now and the entire Body of Christ at the end of the Millennium. Then fire from heaven will come to destroy our enemies and bring an end to flesh.

Rev 20:9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.

Eze 38:18 And it shall come to pass at the same time when Gog shall come against the land of Israel, saith the Lord GOD, that my fury shall come up in my face.

That Assyrian nations are used to smite the Elect of God (Isa 10:5-6) who will be the judges of all Israel in due time. The wicked nations within and without are used of the Lord to work righteousness in His people. In this way nothing is wasted and even the wicked the Lord made are used in our day of evil.

Psa 17:13 Arise, O LORD, disappoint him, cast him down: deliver my soul from the wicked, which is thy sword:

Pro 16:4 The LORD hath made all things for himself: yea, even the wicked for the day of evil.

When judgment is in full bloom the new man in us will be surrounded by these heathen armies (Luk 21:20). This takes place inwardly first in our day of the Lord and will take place outwardly as the precursor to the destruction of all flesh. Salvation is the result of the end of flesh which is deliverance from sin and death. Living through this process of the rebellion of the heathen nations and the subsequent judgment is how we learn to distinguish good and evil. This brings about the Lord’s will, our sanctification and is how we come to know He is the Lord and we are nothing but clay in His hands.

Eze 39:27 When I have brought them again from the people, and gathered them out of their enemies’ lands, and am sanctified in them in the sight of many nations;

Eze 39:28 Then shall they know that I am the LORD their God, which caused them to be led into captivity among the heathen: but I have gathered them unto their own land, and have left none of them anymore there.

Heathen nations do not take kindly to be ruled by the horn of iron we looked at last week and will seek to wrest away God’s judgment in their carnal reasoning. But when the Lord comes with fire and that day has arrived the overcomers overcome in the winepress of God’s judgment.

Rev 19:1 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.

Our mouth’s must be trained to stop speaking lies and blasphemy against the Lord and this process spiritually smites our cheeks.

Psa 3:7 Arise, O LORD; save me, O my God: for thou hast smitten all mine enemies upon the cheek bone; thou hast broken the teeth of the ungodly.

The ungodly fight back, they respect persons and live by the eye for an eye principle that is at the center of the carnal law of Gentiles. Resisting not evil (Mat 5:39) and turning the other cheek is foolishness to natural mind but a needed outcome for us to grow in the faith and be prepared to be the judges and rulers of mankind.

Mic 5:2 But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.

Jesus Christ is the Word and that is what is ruling us more and more as we mature through our judgment process. As the Lord of the heaven and the earth, whose goings forth have been ordained since before the world was formed; He is being made manifest within us in these last days of our fleshly mindset.

1Pe 1:20 Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,

The little flock that is the Body of Christ, the few chosen (Mat 22:14) also known as the Elect, are like their Lord and always born in a manger full of beasts (Ecc 3:18) in a spiritual city of Bethlehem. As He is so are we in this world applies to our spiritual birth.

Mat 2:6 And thou Bethlehem, in the land of Juda, art not the least among the princes of Juda: for out of thee shall come a Governor, that shall rule my people Israel.

Bethlehem means House of Bread.

H1035, bêyth lechem, bayth leh’-khem

From H1004 and H3899; house of bread; Beth-Lechem, a place in Palestine: – Beth-lehem.

The Body of Christ is the House of the Lord (1Co 3:16) in which this bread of life is shared and eaten. The bread of life is the Word which is Jesus Christ.

Joh 6:51 I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live forever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world

Bearing the cross and the reproach of this world is how we eat of this bread which is eating of His flesh and drinking of His blood. This is the cup all men shall certainly drink (Mat 20:23) as the wrath of God is poured out upon our fleshly life.

Joh 6:54 Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.

Joh 6:56 He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him.

The bread of life is also known as the bread of adversity as it pertains to our old man and carnal way of life. That life is being ended and all things being made new by this new bread we eat from heaven that is the fiery Word. This is how we are caused to walk in His ways in due time.

Isa 30:20 And though the Lord give you the bread of adversity, and the water of affliction, yet shall not thy teachers be removed into a corner any more, but thine eyes shall see thy teachers:

Isa 30:21 And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.

The juxtaposition of Bethlehem and Ephratah in this verse has an important spiritual lesson.  The word Ephratah means fruitfulness and is another name for Bethlehem.

Gen 48:7 And as for me, when I came from Padan, Rachel died by me in the land of Canaan in the way, when yet there was but a little way to come unto Ephrath: and I buried her there in the way of Ephrath; the same is Bethlehem.  Here is how Strong’s defines Ephrath.

 H672, ephrâthâh

From H6509; fruitfulness; Ephrath, another name for Bethlehem

God commands us to be fruitful and to multiply (Gen 1:28). The fruit of the Spirit comes about by our enduring through our process of judgment and waiting on the Lord to finish His good work in us. This chastening is our partaking of this bread from heaven.

Heb 12:11 Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless, afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.

The fruits of the Spirit only manifest after the death of the flesh and our old man.

Gal 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,

Gal 5:23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

Gal 5:24 And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.

Prophets of the Lord only take us so far. They bring the Truth but are unable to enter into and possess the land and bear the fruit. Only their descendants after them, their sons and daughters, the maturing mind sets that are given to overcome will enter in.

Num 20:12 And the LORD spake unto Moses and Aaron, Because ye believed me not, to sanctify me in the eyes of the children of Israel, therefore ye shall not bring this congregation into the land which I have given them.

Heb 11:13 These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.

We see this principle in the story of Rachael and the bearing of two sons Joseph and Benjamin.

Gen 35:15 And Jacob called the name of the place where God spake with him, Bethel.

Gen 35:16 And they journeyed from Bethel; and there was but a little way to come to Ephrath: and Rachel travailed, and she had hard labour.

Gen 35:18 And it came to pass, as her soul was in departing, (for she died) that she called his name Benoni: but his father called him Benjamin.

Gen 35:19 And Rachel died, and was buried in the way to Ephrath, which is Bethlehem.

Gen 35:20 And Jacob set a pillar upon her grave: that is the pillar of Rachel’s grave unto this day

It is not a long journey from the Lord speaking with us until the travailing begins. Rachael in her dying names Benjamin, Benoni, which means “son of my sorrow”. As we die to flesh, we weep and mourn and lament for all our troubles. Yet this is how the new man comes forth that is seated at the right hand of God. As a type of Christ, Jacob and Benjamin, both illustrate our being used as the instruments of the Lord’s work. We are His right hand, the sons of God, as was Benjamin in type and the very meaning of his name.

H1144, binyâmı̂yn, bin-yaw-mene’

From H1121 and H3225; son of (the) right hand; Binjamin, youngest son of Jacob; also the tribe descended from him, and its territory: – Benjamin.

The right hand of the Lord is what destroys the enemies and saves us.

Exo 15:6 Thy right hand, O LORD, is become glorious in power: thy right hand, O LORD, hath dashed in pieces the enemy.

Heb 8:1 Now of the things which we have spoken this is the sum: We have such an high priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens;

The Lord changes not. The new man comes forth only through the much travailing that is spiritual childbirth or said another way JUDGMENT. Only the man child is preordained to rule and reign and lives on to complete the overcoming process. The Body of Christ, the House of Bread, is the “house of dying” when speaking to the old man and is also the “house of fruit” or Eprath. New life and much fruit only come by way of death.

Joh 12:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.

Our spiritual mother from Babylon dies on the way to the House of Bread and the place where fruit will become plentiful called Ephrath. God’s people all must come out of Babylon however when the hour is come that the Lord shall be glorified in us, Rachael dies and Benjamin is born.

Mic 5:3 Therefore will he give them up, until the time that she which travaileth hath brought forth: then the remnant of his brethren shall return unto the children of Israel.

Mic 5:4 And he shall stand and feed [H7462] the strength of the LORD, in the majesty of the name of the LORD his God; and they shall abide: for now shall he be great unto the ends of the earth.

The Lord is saving people in His preordained order established before the foundation of the world. The end and every point in between has been declared from the beginning (Isa 46:10).

Act 17:26 And He has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth, and has determined their preappointed times and the boundaries of their dwellings,

We are given over to the lusts and sins of the flesh until the Lord says it is time. Then those courts and the temple that have been trampled by the Gentile nations is being cleared out by the coming of Christ within.

Joh 2:15 And when he had made a scourge of small cords, he drove them all out of the temple, and the sheep, and the oxen; and poured out the changers’ money, and overthrew the tables;

Joh 2:16 And said unto them that sold doves, Take these things hence; make not my Father’s house an house of merchandise.

The Holy City and Temple which we are, is being trodden down by the Gentiles until the preordained time that the Lord returns bringing our judgment (Luk 21:24). That symbolic first half of our witness is not being judged during this time of rebellion, it is not measured by the plumb line.

Rev 11:2 But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.

The period of time between having true doctrine and not obeying it is when we live out inwardly the trampling of the Holy City by the Gentiles within us. This is all part of the Lord’s strange process to being occasion when He comes the second time with the fire that saves us.

Isa 5:5 And now go to; I will tell you what I will do to my vineyard: I will take away the hedge thereof, and it shall be eaten up; and break down the wall thereof, and it shall be trodden down:

The false pastors are not some Babylonian preacher speaking on eternal hellfire. It is you and me hearing but not doing the Word having been overrun by the Gentiles which represent the flesh and the enmity of the carnal mind against the things of the Lord.

All the brethren, ALL of ISRAEL, shall be saved and in these pre-appointed times that coincide with the three harvest feasts of the Lord. The last feast will be the harvest of all men via this process of judgment through the work of “The Christ” as the Lake of Fire. The word for shepherd is the same word as feed.  Shepherding the flock is feeding the flock.

Jesus Christ is the Bread of life that save us. Being fed spiritually means we are being fed judgment which is the chastening and scourging the Lord brings to every son He receives (Heb 12:6, Eze 34:16). “The Christ”of Christ is collectively the shepherd of the sheep and through whom we are fed this life saving or life destroying (depending on the old man vs new man point of view) bread.

Eze 34:23 And I will set up one shepherd over them, and he shall feed them, even my servant David; he shall feed them, and he shall be their shepherd.

Eating and drinking worthily is how we are fed and strengthened in the faith and move from a babe knowing true doctrine to a mature man having learned to discern good and evil through much chastening and scourging through the Word of God. The Lord IS COMING more and more as we endure. We are commanded to keep on eating and drinking to show the Lord’s death in us.

1Co 11:26 For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord’s death till he come.

Mic 5:5 And this man shall be the peace, when the Assyrian shall come into our land: and when he shall tread in our palaces, then shall we raise against him seven shepherds, and eight principal [H5257] men.

Christ is the Prince of Peace and brings that via a sword and by making war in our heavens.  Knowing these truths is how we as God’s people can endure this suffering with joy knowing the Lord’s purposes in all of it. The purpose of our enduring all this judgment and the corresponding pain and suffering, both physically and spiritually, is for the glory of the Lord (His Word) to be made manifest within us. It is when we are brought into fellowship with the small remnant the Lord is saving now (His right hand) that we will begin to understand the Lord’s purposes and take comfort in our trials.

Eze 14:22 Yet, behold, therein shall be left a remnant that shall be brought forth, both sons and daughters: behold, they shall come forth unto you, and ye shall see their way and their doings: and ye shall be comforted concerning the evil that I have brought upon Jerusalem, even concerning all that I have brought upon it.

When we abide in this Body it is here we shall be comforted and find refuge from the trials and persecutions we must endure living in this flesh bodies in this carnal world.

Eze 14:23 And they (The Body) shall comfort you, when ye see their ways and their doings: and ye shall know that I have not done without cause all that I have done in it, saith the Lord GOD.

There is a purpose in all of our trials and afflictions. We may not understand it in the moment and will learn to stand on faith and not seek the comfort of the world to wrest away the judgments of God. Ultimately as we look behind us and mature in the faith we are comforted and are used of the Lord to comfort others!

2Co 1:4 Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.

2Co 1:5 For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also aboundeth by Christ.

2Co 1:6 And whether we be afflicted, it is for your consolation and salvation, which is effectual in the enduring of the same sufferings which we also suffer: or whether we be comforted, it is for your consolation and salvation.

Our being brought to completion by enduring through our judgments is the significance of the seven shepherds. The number eight represents the new man and our new beginnings as a DOER of the Word that follows the completion (Seven) of our judgment. The Assyrian strongholds within our flesh and in the outward carnal world are strong and it is impossible to overcome them without the overcomer within us doing the work.  Christ in us is the overcomer and the one who is stronger than the Assyrian king who spoils those heathen kingdoms within us.

Joh 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

Christ did it and as His Christ overcome our enemies the same way if we are faithful to the end.

Rev 17:14 These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.

The word translated as principal as in principal man is only used that way one time.  The Hebrew word is H5257 and here is Strong’s definition.

 H5257,  nes-eek’

From H5258; properly something poured out, that is, a libation; also a molten image; by implication a prince (as anointed): – drink offering, duke, prince (-ipal).

We are that drink offering.  We are the living sacrifice and our reasonable service is to give all to Christ and prepare Him (His Body, His Christ) for His burial.

Mat 26:12 For in that she hath poured this ointment on my body, she did it for my burial.

Breaking bread and eating together, reproving one another with the Word is one way this ointment is poured out. The principal man is an angel of the Lord pouring out wrath upon the old man and the very throne of the beast. All seven of the vials of wrath are said to be poured out by the angels of God and represent the speaking the Word. This is the way of salvation, the only way for all men “in the appointed time”.

Rev 16:17 And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done.

Here is the last verse for our study.

Mic 5:6 And they shall waste the land of Assyria with the sword, and the land of Nimrod in the entrances [H6607] thereof: thus shall he deliver us from the Assyrian, when he cometh into our land, and when he treadeth within our borders.

The land of Nimrod is another symbol for Babylon and the land of Shinar that Nimrod established after the flood (Gen 10:9-10). He stands for the mighty one in the earth that brings to mind a mighty beast that needs to be judged.

Gen 10:8 And Cush begat Nimrod: he began to be a mighty one in the earth.

Rev 13:11 And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.

To be delivered from the carnal oppressors we must enter into The Christ which are the entrances and doors being spoken of in Micah 5:6. The word for “entrances” is H6607 which is almost always translated as door or doors. This rendering helps to open the meaning via the sum of God’s word.

Joh 10:1 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.

Joh 10:2 But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep.

Jesus via His Body of Christ is the door.

Joh 10:7 Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep.

So it is Jesus Christ, this eighth man, who treads on the Assyrians who have trampled on the holy things in our heavens and on our earth. Vengeance is the Lord’s and He will bring us to the still waters where the flesh is in submission. This is how we lie down in green pasture where we are fed with judgment via the living Word.

Joh 10:9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.

Psa 23:2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.

It is by the mercy of God’s Elect that all men will be given mercy. Mercy, contrary to the Babylonian traditions is not fleshly comfort, it is bringing the chastening that burns out ungodliness from our heavens and delivers us from our sins.

Rom 11:26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:

Rom 11:27 For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.

As we experience, true doctrine is given to us first to wash us clean. But then the fire must come to burn out our sins and make us into overcomers being doers of the Word. The Body of Christ does the greater work washing our feet and bringing the fire that works to purify the heavens. We do this work now for one another by abiding and fellowshipping in this Body. We will do it for all mankind and judge all the tribes of Israel in the Lake of Fire. Those roles are the upward calling of God given to the very small “remnant of Jacob” who overcome in this life.

Judging Righteous Judgment May 26 2016

By Pete Wilson

Making judgments is essential for the people of God.  The Scriptures command us to be vigilant and diligent to guard our way.  That means making judgments constantly as we must strive to stay on the narrow way and separate from the world and all things unclean.

Pro 4:23 Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.

1Pe 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

The Elect of God otherwise known as the Body of Christ will in fact be the judges of all mankind and will usher in salvation to all men in the appointed times.

1Co 6:2 Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters?

1Co 6:3 Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?

Oba 1:21 And saviours shall come up on mount Zion to judge the mount of Esau; and the kingdom shall be the LORD’S.

Lest we forget, judgment is the process by which all men are saved.  There is no other way.

Exo 6:6 Wherefore say unto the children of Israel, I am the LORD, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will rid you out of their bondage, and I will redeem you with a stretched out arm, and with great judgments:

The promise given to Abraham, a type of God’s Elect, is that we and our households would do justice and judgment.

Gen 18:18 Seeing that Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him?

Gen 18:19 For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the LORD, to do justice and judgment; that the LORD may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him. (i.e. Salvation)

So knowing these truths combined with a God given zeal for the House of the Lord, we should run towards these judgments knowing they hasten the formation of Christ in us.  The day of the Lord for each of us is a wonderful day for the new man but a terrible day for the old man.  Such is the conundrum that the carnal world and orthodox Christianity cannot see.

2Pe 3:12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?

It is those of us who follow the Lord in the “regeneration”, the process of being born again by the Spirit of God, and washed in the water of the Word; that will sit on the throne of His glory judging Israel.

Mat 19:28 And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

This statement of the Lord of course applies both inwardly and outwardly in an “is, was and will be” manner.  Inwardly the Christ in us replaces the beast sitting on the Lord’s throne and brings salvation to the nations within us.

Psa 47:8 God reigneth over the heathen: God sitteth upon the throne of his holiness.

Judging Israel applies to those in the Body right now who are sitting in down payment form judging the twelve tribes of Israel right now.  We are the lake of fire to one another and it is by abiding with and in Christ, in the Word, that we are judged now.

1Co 11:31 For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged.

1Co 11:32 But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world.

The Elect of God are in training for their future roles to be the saviors of all men which will be preceded by their reigning with Christ during the Millennium.  Those given this role will have lost their carnal mindedness (been beheaded) now in this life in the clay.

Rev 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

The only way we learn to do anything including becoming the judges of the world is by experience.  This is why we are given these trials and caused to fall down so we can learn true righteousness through this judgment process.

1Pe 4:17 For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?

Isa 26:8  Yea, in the way of thy judgments, O LORD, have we waited for thee; the desire of our soul is to thy name, and to the remembrance of thee.

Isa 26:9  With my soul have I desired thee in the night; yea, with my spirit within me will I seek thee early: for when thy judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness.

We best be becoming of full age now, getting lots of experience judging and being judged as that is how we become the mature man (Heb 5:14) learning how to discern good and evil (Gen 3:22).

This is the upward call of God also called the prize by Paul (Php 3:14) that hopefully we have been given the zeal to run and finish the race so we may attain to the first resurrection.

Rev 20:6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

Babylonian Ditches on Both Sides

There are Babylonian ditches on both sides of the narrow way.  Most of us have been in both places and either not judging or making judgments after the flesh.  The sleazy grace mentality that says the Lord did it all for us on the cross and all we need to do is say a ten second sinners prayer for salvation encourages lasciviousness and causes us to wrest away the judgment of God and stay worldly.

Exo 23:2 Thou shalt not follow a multitude to do evil; neither shalt thou speak in a cause to decline after many to wrest judgment:

Generalizing Babylonian lies, there is another ditch on the other side of the way.  This ditch is one I would define as legalistic, condemning, blaming others with a mindset that always denies the Lord and makes man responsible for his own salvation and accountable for his own behavior.  Of course that is a lie as the Lord truly is the Potter and we merely are the clay and everything we do is His work in us (Isa 64:8).

Joh 15:5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

The insidiousness of all these false doctrines and both generalized ditches is that there is always some truth connected.  Yet the leaven or lies renders the doctrines spiritual poison and points to another “jesus”.  It is indeed a very narrow road with error and ditches on both sides of the road.  The people of God do not walk after the flesh but after the Spirit.  And if we do so, we are commanded to be judging ALL THINGS.

1Co 2:15 But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.

Yet the people of the Lord who are to judge all things, judge them spiritually.  That is what righteous judgment is all about.  It is based on the WORD and not the ways of this world.

Joh 7:24 Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.

Lev 19:15 Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment: thou shalt not respect the person of the poor, nor honour the person of the mighty: but in righteousness shalt thou judge thy neighbour.

We judge all things but not according to the flesh and the ways of the world.  When we are carnal we will judge after the flesh.

Joh 8:15 Ye judge after the flesh; I judge no man.

Joh 8:16 And yet if I judge, my judgment is true: for I am not alone, but I and the Father that sent me.

This parable of Christ says He judges no one but then tells us how He judges.  This tells those with ears to hear that Christ, us, His Body, are to only judge according to the Scriptures.  We are not judged of any man because it is the WORD, the plumb line that is the measuring stick of judgment.  This is “the way” by which Christ in us is arisen.

Amo 7:5 Then said I, O Lord GOD, cease, I beseech thee: by whom shall Jacob arise? for he is small.

Amo 7:6 The LORD repented for this: This also shall not be, saith the Lord GOD.

Amo 7:7 Thus he shewed me: and, behold, the Lord stood upon a wall made by a plumbline, with a plumbline in his hand.

Amo 7:8 And the LORD said unto me, Amos, what seest thou? And I said, A plumbline. Then said the Lord, Behold, I will set a plumbline in the midst of my people Israel: I will not again pass by them any more:

Amo 7:9 And the high places of Isaac shall be desolate, and the sanctuaries of Israel shall be laid waste; and I will rise against the house of Jeroboam with the sword.

Rev 11:1 And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein.

How we judge that determines whether or not we are on the narrow way.  Our judgments must be according to the WORD.

1Co 4:6 And these things, brethren, I have in a figure transferred to myself and to Apollos for your sakes; that ye might learn in us not to think of men above that which is written, that no one of you be puffed up for one against another.

Judging Without Vs Within

Those without the Body of Christ we are not to be judging.  The reason for this is those outside the faith do not have spiritual ears to hear the Word now.  It is the Word that shall judge all men, but only in the last day of the carnal age for every man.  That day is today for the very few but for the rest of mankind that will come in the Lake of Fire at the Second Resurrection.  It is our speaking the Words of fire that brings judgment (Jer 5:14) but if someone cannot hear, they cannot now be judged.

Joh 12:47 And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.

Joh 12:48 He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.

We are commanded not to keep company with spiritual fornicators and not even share a spiritual meal with them (1 Cor 5:9-11).  The reasons are many fold.  First we can easily be corrupted by keeping bad spiritual company (1 Cor 15:33) and allowing even a little leaven into our spiritual house.

1Co 5:6 Your glorying is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump?

Secondly we are working against the Lord in trying to impart Truths on one who has not been prepared to hear.

1Ti 5:22 Lay hands suddenly on no man, neither be partaker of other men’s sins: keep thyself pure.

Pro 20:12 The hearing ear, and the seeing eye, the LORD hath made even both of them.

If the Lord has not opened one’s ears to hear we will know it quite readily.  His sheep do hear His voice that we speak.

1Jn 4:6 We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.

We are not to judge those people; we are to turn them over to the Lord who will use His instruments including Satan to destroy their flesh in due time.  We are to judge OURSELVES and those within THE BODY OF CHRIST ONLY.

1Co 5:12 For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within?

1Co 5:13 But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person.

This is why we are told to put out those that bring heresy and openly live in sin.  We should not need to speculate over the Lord’s sovereignty and hopefully will believe taking such a seeming harsh act is actually the manifestation of what loving our neighbor actually entails.  Let the Lord have vengeance, only He can destroy the flesh and humble His little ones to return to their first love.

This is very difficult, a narrow road indeed especially when involving our physical families and loved ones.  It can seem so unloving to the natural man to not get engaged in the affairs of the world.

2Ti 2:4 No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.

Ezr 6:21 And the children of Israel, which were come again out of captivity, and all such as had separated themselves unto them from the filthiness of the heathen of the land, to seek the LORD God of Israel, did eat,

How do we obey the commands and take seriously our doctrines and purge out the leaven from our midst and stay on the narrow road? How do we be that ambassador for Christ yet be a watchman over the house of Israel? We are first and foremost to be examining ourselves and making sure we are walking in the faith and clinging to sound doctrine.

2Co 13:5 Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves.

1Ti 4:16 Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee.

God’s chosen people, His Elect, will be making judgments and meditating on the Word of God constantly and making the necessary judgments to strive to stay on the narrow road and avoid the spiritual diseases that plague Babylonians.

Exo 15:26 And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee.

Deu 7:12 Wherefore it shall come to pass, if ye hearken to these judgments, and keep, and do them, that the LORD thy God shall keep unto thee the covenant and the mercy which he sware unto thy fathers:

“Doing what is right in his sight” includes keeping leaven out of spiritual house.  The narrow way requires that we make many judgments and admonish one another.  Unless we are willing to speak up, be honest with ourselves first and also be willing to go to brothers and sisters as faithful watchman we are not trusting fully in the Lord.  We are here to watch over the flock of God and must learn to be obedient to those commands now.  Otherwise how can the Lord use us in the ages to come if we don’t move on to maturity now?  Here is how the body is to operate and to heal itself as we are the sum of our parts in the Body of Christ.

Jas 5:19 Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him;

Jas 5:20 Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.

There is a reason we have Matthew 18 and Levitius 13-14 and many other Scriptures.

Mat 18:15 Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother.

Mat 18:16 But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.

Mat 18:17 And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell it unto the church: but if he neglect to hear the church, let him be unto thee as an heathen man and a publican.

A witness from the Old Testament would include the processes of dealing with leprosy in Leviticus.

Lev 13:2 When a man shall have in the skin of his flesh a rising, a scab, or bright spot, and it be in the skin of his flesh like the plague of leprosy; then he shall be brought unto Aaron the priest, or unto one of his sons the priests:

Lev 13:3 And the priest shall look on the plague in the skin of the flesh: and when the hair in the plague is turned white, and the plague in sight be deeper than the skin of his flesh, it is a plague of leprosy: and the priest shall look on him, and pronounce him unclean.

The Lord does not want us chopping off literal body parts, but in order to keep our walk clean and the entire Body of Christ pure we are given commands that require us to put our trust in Him and the work He will do in the heart of His creation.  We must be willing to chop off those unhealthy parts and cast them out less the entire body be impacted.

Mat 5:30 And if thy right hand offend thee, cut it off, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.

Preaching the Word to one another, the only ones with ears to hear and the focus of Christ’s ministry, brings rebuke and reproof to our sins and ungodly ways.  This is a good thing!

2Ti 4:2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.

Col 1:28 Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus:

Joh 16:8 And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:

Mitch wrote a series on correction within the Body of Christ that is far more in-depth that what is being highlighted here.  Link at the end.

Not being faithful watchmen is a recipe for disaster and spiritual stagnation as Paul continues the instruction to Timothy.  This is speaking of what will happen within the Body of Christ.

2Ti 4:3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;

2Ti 4:4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

Thankfully the Lord is faithful to make His Elect watchmen who have a responsibility to oversee the flock and to warn, rebuke and discipline when we are led astray or living in error.  If we fail to warn and fail to blow the trumpet we will bear stripes for such disobedience.

Eze 33:7 So thou, O son of man, I have set thee a watchman unto the house of Israel; therefore thou shalt hear the word at my mouth, and warn them from me.

God’s Elect will be on this narrow road which will include blowing the trumpet, warning the people but how we do this is essential.

Jer 6:17 Also I set watchmen over you, saying, Hearken to the sound of the trumpet. But they said, We will not hearken.

We need to walk softly and carry a big stick!  But that stick is the WORD and that is what does the work.  We just need to bring these Truths to others and stand and let the Lord give the increase.  There is no place in the kingdom of God for harshness.  We must learn to be meek and gentle in Spirit but strong in the Words of fire that we speak.  I have failed miserably in trying to do right by being harsh, seemingly mean and looking down upon others and being an accuser of my brethren who ultimately is all men.

Judging men by the spirit means to recognize that no man is responsible for the behavior, that the Lord is indeed working ALL THINGS for the counsel of His will. Very few are given the faith to believe this truth and thus judge like Christ judged.

Joh 8:15 Ye judge after the flesh; I judge no man.

2Co 5:16 Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh

We stop judging men after the flesh and do it by the spirit of Truth, when we properly apply the sovereignty of God and learn to not even think above what is written.  If we are truly God’s people, we better be making judgments. The whole of Matthew seven tells us how to judge.  We will reap what we sow and that applies to judgment as well.

Mat 7:1 Judge not, that ye be not judged.

When we judge in the flesh we will be judged in the flesh.  It comes back to us.

Mat 7:2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.

If we truly love the Lord, we will want the same measure of Truth to be meted out to us in judgment.  There is no darkness that shall not be revealed and brought to the light (Luk 8:17).  So with this mindset it is a good thing when we are judged and we should be thankful for a brother or sister to point out leaven in our doctrine or sin in our walk.

The pride of man and the deceitfulness of sin that lies in our hearts is an easy snare and cause of stumbling until we learn to judge righteously. Before we go showing others the mote in their eyes, we had best learn to examine ourselves first and make sure we are not castaways (1 Co 9:27).  We can’t help anyone spiritually if we ourselves have poor spiritual eyesight.

Mat 7:5 Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother’s eye (by making spiritual judgments, trying spirits).

We must learn to let God judge those without. Before we judge within the Body we must first judge ourselves.  If we cannot learn to judge and do it righteously in this age, we will have NO PART in being God’s judges during the Millennium Reign or at the Great White Throne Judgment. This is just how important it is that we learn to judge righteous judgment.  We must know when to judge and how to judge using the Scriptures as our plumb line.  The whole purpose of the Lord having an Elect is to make ready the remnant of His people through which all men shall enter into the city.

Rom 11:31 Even so have these also now not believed, that through your mercy they also may obtain mercy.

Gen 3:24 So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.

Many times we are too hasty to judge things and do not wait on the Lord.  Another criteria of judging is to wait on the Lord to work His work in others and give the trees time to bear fruit.

1Co 4:5 Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God.

We will always know things by the fruit on the trees (Mat 7:16-20).

Loving our brothers includes pulling specks out of their eyes, judging all things, and judging righteous judgment. The doctrine that says judge nobody or nothing is not love. It is actually the spirit of a harlot church aka Spiritual Babylon that has NO JUDGMENT in it.

Isa 1:21 How is the faithful city become an harlot! it was full of judgment; righteousness lodged in it; but now murderers (hating the doctrines of Christ).

But the Lord is faithful even when we are not.  A day will come when He will restore judgment to the House of Israel.  Today is that day of salvation for the Elect of God.

Isa 1:26 And I will restore thy judges as at the first, and thy counsellors as at the beginning: afterward thou shalt be called, The city of righteousness, the faithful city.

The judgment of God by HIS WORD is what sanctifies us. It is how we are redeemed, it is what causes the death of the old man by the sword and fire of God.

Isa 1:27 Zion shall be redeemed with judgment, and her converts with righteousness.

Loving you neighbor as yourself is our commandment.  The mercy of the Lord is living thru the trials that brings forth salvation in due time.  Mercy will rejoice and triumph over judgment and we must trust in those promises and become obedient to the perfect law of liberty.

Jas 2:12 So speak ye, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty.

Jas 2:13 For he shall have judgment without mercy, that hath shewed no mercy; and mercy rejoiceth against judgment.

Bringing this judgment by the words we speak is how the mercy of the Lord is made manifest in our lives and how we give spiritual food, clothing and housing to our brethren who need it to sustain themselves. These are the greater works that bring salvation. Our faith without doing the works of judgment within the house of God are dead.

Jas 2:14 What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him?

Jas 2:15 If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food,

Jas 2:16 And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit?

Jas 2:17 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.

All of us who have come through the door of “The Christ” are a shepherd of the sheep.

Joh 10:2 But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep.

Those who will be abiding in everlasting burnings will be God’s Elect who abide in the fire of the Word judging righteous judgment.

Isa 33:14 The sinners in Zion are afraid; fearfulness hath surprised the hypocrites. Who among us shall dwell with the devouring fire? who among us shall dwell with everlasting burnings?

Isa 33:15 He that walketh righteously, and speaketh uprightly; he that despiseth the gain of oppressions, that shaketh his hands from holding of bribes, that stoppeth his ears from hearing of blood, and shutteth his eyes from seeing evil;
