Carnal Questions That Demand Answers

carnal questions

Rom 9:18  Therefore hath he mercy on whom he will have mercy, and whom he will he hardeneth.

Rom 9:19  Thou wilt say then unto me, Why doth he yet find fault?

When we are first exposed to the truth that God is sovereign and is actually causing ALL THINGS, yes even our very sins; we go crazy with all kinds of carnal questions.    This is quite natural and the process of learning the truth of God’s ways takes time.  It takes time for us to grow into knowledge of the grace of God and understanding His ways.  The ways of the Lord are far far different than the ways of  the natural man and indeed we at first think the truths of God’s word as foolishness.

2Pe 3:18  But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

1Co 2:14  But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

We really have no appreciation for these verses until much time has passed and we have our carnality burned out of us.

Isa 55:8  For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.

Isa 55:9  For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

The purpose of this post is to address a couple of those “carnal questions” as a follow-up to my post on God being responsible for evil in this world. Paul speaking of the true gospel and the salvation of all by faith thru grace was viciously rejected and scorned by the religious of his day. It has not changed my friends, these are experiences and the words of the Lord that we as God’s Elect will live in our appointed times. By preaching the salvation of all men nobody is suggesting or encouraging anyone to continue to do evil and engage in sin. Yet we like Paul, a type and shadow of all God’s Elect,  will be slandered and accused of doing just that.

Rom 3:5 But if our unrighteousness commend the righteousness of God, what shall we say? Is God unrighteous who taketh vengeance? (I speak as a man)
Rom 3:6 God forbid: for then how shall God judge the world?
Rom 3:7 For if the truth of God hath more abounded through my lie unto his glory; why yet am I also judged as a sinner?
Rom 3:8 And not rather, (as we be slanderously reported, and as some affirm that we say,) Let us do evil, that good may come? whose damnation is just.

God’s Elect will never say any such a thing about sin. It is a false accusation that will come to all of God’s Elect. What we do say is that without the intervention of Christ into our inward heavens we have no chance of obeying God in the weakness of sinful flesh. We will speak the truth that when we do fall into sin or stumble that it is the Lord working that sin in us for His good pleasure and purposes.  That is the truth so very few are given to receive.  But what do the Scriptures plainly teach.

Php 2:13  For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.

Isa 64:8  But now, O LORD, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand.

Rom 7:17  Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.

Rom 7:18  For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not.

While we are still abiding in Babylon, the harlot apostate churches of men that promote another jesus we will not be aware of our sinfulness.  The fact that we are still blind, wretched and naked is far removed from our spiritual vision.  We are blind as bats until the Lord opens our eyes and causes us to see and to hear His word.  We won’t know any of this until our day of judgment arrives and we are given eyes to see the abomination that is causing desolation and our need for a Savior is made perfectly clear to us.

Rev 3:17  Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:

Mat 24:15  When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)

2Th 2:3  Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;  (You, me, the old man within all mankind)

Joh 9:39  And Jesus said, For judgment I am come into this world, that they which see not might see; and that they which see might be made blind.

While we are blind and held captive in Babylon, we will fool many that similar to us have the outside of the cup cleaned but inside are still full of dead men’s bones, walking in spiritual death and separated from God all the while claiming to know Him.  We may know him in the flesh but at this point we do not know Him in the Spirit.  Those that claim to be in the truth and teachers of the blind, are those for whom Christ saves His harshest rebuke.

Mat 23:27 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men’s bones, and of all uncleanness.

It is indeed by grace we are saved and not of our works or any delusion of our free will choosing God. God’s Elect will even be falsely accused of exalting themselves for merely speaking the truths that were GIVEN to them. Such is the narrow way and part of the cross we carry in our times.  We are not better than anyone, all men are sold under sin.

Rom 3:9 What then? are we better than they? No, in no wise: for we have before proved both Jews and Gentiles, that they are all under sin;
Rom 3:10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:

But we do have one thing they do not have and that is the gift of faith.  This is indeed GIVEN to very few and with that gift comes the gift of spiritual ears to hear and eyes to see the truth of God’s words.

Mat 13:16  But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear.

Mat 13:17  For verily I say unto you, That many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them.

Without further ado let’s look at the questions.

Question #1 – Let’s just live it up and sin like crazy

The first question of the carnal mind is that if all men are going to be saved, why don’t we just go ahead and live it up to the fullest. Let’s eat, drink and be merry is our most immediate thought.  I can’t tell you how many times this has been asked by those that believe the Lord is going to torment most of His creation forever without end.  An obvious rebuke of such carnal mindedness is to challenge the person asking this question why do they say they love God if they don’t have an overwhelming desire to obey Him?

Luk 6:46 “But why do you call Me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and not do the things which I say?

At the end of the day, the love of God has a definition and that definition is based on obedience.

1Jn 5:3 For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome.

When we ask these questions we do not understand or believe God’s plans for the ages and the purposes and function of the Elect. Yet without going into that in this post,  the primary causation we ask this carnal question in our walk is that we do not yet understand what God’s grace really is and its function.  We have yet to learn that grace is what chastens. Grace is what scourges us. Grace is the righteousness judgment of God against all our ungodliness.

Tit 2:11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,
Tit 2:12 Teaching (Chastening) us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;

Heb 12:6 For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.
Heb 12:7 If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?
Heb 12:8 But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.

The word translated TEACHING in Titus 2:12 is the greek word paideuo and it means TO CHASTEN. So sure when we are chastened we learn so the word teaching is not that far off, but it does obscure the real meaning and waters down the point.

So we learn when we are taught, and we are taught when we are chastened. That is the function and purpose of grace, it is how we are CAUSED to obey God in due time.

Heb 5:8 Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered;

Being scourged is not fun. Yet that is what we are told the Lord does to every son He loves and receives unto Himself. We saw it above but it needs to be pounded home thru thick carnal minds.  EVERY SON God loves is scourged and that is actually a blessing because the old man must be killed for the new man to come forth.

Heb 12:6 For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.

So when you understand all men are saved and if true faith has come to you, then judgement has fallen upon your house. You are now under grace and not the law.

1Pe 4:17 For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?

When this happens in our life, we will not take the attitude of let’s eat, drink and be merry. We will quickly learn that we indeed reap what we sow. DO NOT BE DECEIVED.

Gal 6:7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
Gal 6:8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.

We will learn, be taught, when we are caused to sin and then God bring judgment upon us and we are scourged with great trials and afflictions.

Eze 36:27 And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you (BY GRACE) to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.

Grace MAKES us obey God in the appointed times.  It is how the old man is put away and the new man arises.

Psa 23:2  He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.

Once we know this and God’s ways, we should not think it strange when these trials come.  We should count them all as joy, knowing their purpose.

1Pe 4:12 Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:

Jas 1:2  My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;

Jas 1:3  Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.

That is the purpose of the furnace, it is the purpose of the afflictions, that is the true grace of God in action. That is how the old man is decreases and the new man is increased in us. This is how the beast is destroyed by the fire that is the word of God.

Isa 48:10Behold, I have refined thee, but not with silver; I have chosen thee in the furnace of affliction.

Act 14:22Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.

Let’s keep in mind that fire is the WORD of God.  Fire is what saves us (baptism of fire) when it work in us and burns the sin and inequity out of our hearts and minds.  We are saved BY THE FIRE, yet Babylon teaches us salvation means avoiding the fire.  All men will be purified by the fire that is God’s word in the appointed times, which is our ordained day of judgment.  When grace is poured out upon us thru faith,  the old man is not going to make it much longer.  No man or beast can stand.

1Co 3:15 If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.

Mal 3:2 But who may abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appeareth? for he is like a refiner’s fire, and like fullers’ soap:
Mal 3:3 And he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the LORD an offering in righteousness.

The beast is no match for Christ and will be destroyed by the fiery grace of God.  So we will learn to truly tremble at the word of God, knowing of His absolute sovereignty. So the carnal reasoning that we will say let’s just go ahead sin so grace may abound is flawed. That is the last thing God’s Elect will be doing or teaching to anyone. We will learn that when we sin, the Lord simply turns up the heat. The Lord will simply ratchet up the grace dial and will keep on doing it until we get it. Eventually, we will learn to fear God and will be given the faith to stop sinning. That is how it works friends and it is a long process.

Rom 5:20 Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:
Rom 5:21 That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.
Rom 6:1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?
Rom 6:2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?

I guarantee you will not have the attitude of let’s sin so grace may abound once you are given ears to hear and eyes to see. When you understand free will is strong delusion you will be crying and sighing over all the abominations and sin committed in your spiritual house. Because you know this is against the commands of the Lord and you have the certain expectation of ongoing fiery judgment, there is no escape, we reap what we sow.

Heb 10:26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,
Heb 10:27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation (IE GRACE POURED OUT UPON YOU), which shall devour the (inward) adversaries (of sin and rebellion)
Heb 10:28 He that despised Moses’ law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:
Heb 10:29 Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?
Heb 10:30 For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people.
Heb 10:31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

When you truly understand grace, then you will begin to be taught the fear of the Lord.  You will know that the Lord will have vengeance and you will get away with no sin.  If you sin, the dial on the furnace is simply increased.  Oh thank God for these wonderful works of God to the children of men,  they will teach you to fear God in due time.

Deu 4:10  Specially the day that thou stoodest before the LORD thy God in Horeb, when the LORD said unto me, Gather me the people together, and I will make them hear my words, that they may learn to fear me all the days that they shall live upon the earth, and that they may teach their children.

Isa 33:6  And wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability of thy times, and strength of salvation: the fear of the LORD is his treasure.

These verses above from Hebrews 10 are used by many that are blinded to the truth of the salvation of all men. These are used to support the lie of eternal hell but what this is speaking about is the righteous judgment of God and that is the way we are saved. Understanding that salvation is the method we are delivered of our sins, meaning we no longer commit them and are given power to rule over sin is key. God’s plan has never changed, it was always the way we are to be redeemed and remade into children of the most high God.

Exo 6:6 Wherefore say unto the children of Israel, I am the LORD, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will rid you out of their bondage, and I will redeem you with a stretched out arm, and with great judgments (MUCH CHASTENING GRACE, MUCH SCOURGING OF THE OLD MAN):

It is this process of having God’s wrath poured out upon our sins and inequities, i.e. GRACE that chasten, that teaches….. that we learn the fear of the Lord. We won’t learn this until we are in the midst of God’s Elect and the chastening grace of God’s judgment is upon His house. Knowing these truths about grace will eliminate any carnal thoughts that we might as well eat, drink and be merry.  It is indeed a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

Now let’s consider a second yet related question our carnal minds focus on when hearing of God’s truths.

Carnal Question #2
– Then Why Does God Find Fault

The second carnal question is why does the Lord judge us and bring punishment upon us when He is the one that is causing us to sin.  Since He is the Potter and we the clay, why does He still find fault with us when we stumble? A very good questions which demands an answer and one we best know to walk the narrow way.

This section of Romans 9 addresses this question and provides the proper answer. We are told the Lord has mercy on some and hardens the hearts of others against His ways and His word.  Why does He then find fault since nobody is resisting God’s will. God’s will is being done all the time, we truly are the works of His hands.

Rom 9:18 Therefore hath he mercy on whom he will have mercy, and whom he will he hardeneth.
Rom 9:19 Thou wilt say then unto me, Why doth he yet find fault? For who hath resisted his will?

The Lord has a method to His seeming madness.  As I wrote about in the post Who Is Responsible For Evil,  our purpose in this life is to learn good and evil, that is a necessary step to become like God.

Gen 3:22  And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:

When we complain and grumble to the Lord about what He is doing in our lives, we are contending with God.  He knows what He is doing and we need to have faith and to believe and know that whomsoever will wait on the Lord will not be ashamed in the end.  He will be faithful to His promises and will indeed finish the good works He has started in this age in the lives of His Elect.  We all like JOB will contend with the Lord but it is thru these very contentions that we will be judged and will learn the truth.

Rom 9:20 Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why hast thou made me thus?
Rom 9:21 Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour?

To convert us from carnal Christians to the new man that walks in the Spirit a lot of lies have to be burned out of us.  We have to learn that the Lord really is the Lord and that we of ourselves can indeed do nothing.  This is such a pivotal verse I often cite and I do hope you are beginning to get it.

Joh 15:5  I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

The real answer on why God finds fault is so He can bring judgment upon us.  It pleases Him to crush His sons, in the flesh and to destroy the old man and carnal nature of the first vessel made from the clay.  The Babylonian lie of the fall of mankind also is blown up by the truth of knowing and believing the Lord really is the Potter and has a two step process in store for all men.  The Lord has to cause your ears to be open to hear it.

Jer 18:2 Arise, and go down to the potter’s house, and there I will cause thee to hear my words.

Jer 18:3  Then I went down to the potter’s house, and, behold, he wrought a work on the wheels.

Jer 18:4  And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter: so he made it again another vessel, as seemed good to the potter to make it.

Jer 18:5  Then the word of the LORD came to me, saying,

Jer 18:6  O house of Israel (God’s Elect)  cannot I do with you as this potter? saith the LORD. Behold, as the clay is in the potter’s hand, so are ye in mine hand, O house of Israel.

So Paul continues in Romans 9 and tells us the mystery of how Christ is formed in us and the old man is destroyed and the man brought forward.  This is the purpose of God finding fault.

Rom 9:22 What if God, willing to shew his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction:
Rom 9:23 And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory,

Lord of Heaven & Earth

The purpose of God finding fault is to bring judgment and the purpose of judgment is to teach us His ways and to reveal Himself to us and remake us so that we are partakers of His Holiness.

Heb 12:10 For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness.

Flesh and blood is not entering into the kingdom of God.  Experiencing fiery grace is for our profit just as this Scripture tells us.  It must go and thus the requirement for all of us to be remade and go through the fiery judgment of God against our flesh.    During this process, we are going to learn that being Lord truly means He is the Lord of all things and most certainly the inward heavens and the earth that represent each of us lumps of clay made of the earth.

Deu_4:39  Know therefore this day, and consider it in thine heart, that the LORD he is God in heaven above, and upon the earth beneath: there is none else.

Perhaps you can begin to apply these physical words in the spirit and look inside where the kingdom of God actually resides.

Isa_66:1  Thus saith the LORD, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that ye build unto me? and where is the place of my rest?

1Ch_29:11  Thine, O LORD, is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O LORD, and thou art exalted as head above all.

This process of judgment starts with the house of God (the Elect or the House of Israel etc) but all men will in due time learn righteousness when judgment is fallen upon them.

1Pe 4:17 For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?

Isa 26:9 With my soul have I desired thee in the night; yea, with my spirit within me will I seek thee early: for when thy judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness.

It is a good thing the Lord finds fault, otherwise we would not learn His ways.  Think about how a child in the natural learns or we learn on the job.  We learn by doing, by making mistakes and being corrected.  It is no different in the spiritual.  When we fall down and sin, the Lord brings chastening which is judgment and that comes in the form of afflictions and tribulation.

Psa 119:71 It is good for me that I have been afflicted; that I might learn thy statutes.

Act 14:22  Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.

These judgments of the Lord bring afflictions to the old man and are necessary to destroy the beast and our carnal nature that puts, ME MYSELF and I as numero uno, all the while we claim to serve the Lord.  What will help align all Scripture is your coming to see that judgment is good, very good. It is the process by which we are changed into the likeness and image of Christ. Without it we could never learn obedience and let’s remember how we learn obedience.

Heb 5:8 Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered;

Psa 119:7  I will praise thee with uprightness of heart, when I shall have learned thy righteous judgments.

Christ, meaning His Body, the Elect;  all learn obedience by the things we suffer. This is the mystery of how Christ is formed in all men in their appointed time.  It starts with the Body of Christ filling up in the afflictions of Christ for the sake of the church.  This comes about by judgment and that is why the Lord is in the fault finding business, to teach us.  This is a great mystery, a secret that few are given the spiritual eyes to see and ears to hear yet it is right in our Bibles.

Col 1:24  Who now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up that which is behind of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh for his body’s sake, which is the church:

Col 1:25  Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God;

Col 1:26  Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints:

Col 1:27  To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:

Whoever said the finished works of Jesus Christ on the cross means you don’t have to suffer and die is a liar and knows not the Lord.  Anyone telling you about a rapture and that you are saved from God’s judgment is blind as a bat.

Judgment is good, very good, sweeter than honey and it is how the new man is formed and the old man is decreased in all of us.

Psa 19:9 The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether.
Psa 19:10 More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.
Psa 19:11 Moreover by them is thy servant warned: and in keeping of them there is great reward.

Judgment is how we learn the fear of God and this is what causes us to obey in due season.  So God finding fault with us and bringing judgment is a very good thing.   Psalm 119 has many verses that tell of this mysterious truth.

Psa 119:39  Turn away my reproach which I fear: for thy judgments are good.

Psa 119:66  Teach me good judgment and knowledge: for I have believed thy commandments.

Psa 119:67  Before I was afflicted I went astray: but now have I kept thy word.

Psa 119:71  It is good for me that I have been afflicted; that I might learn thy statutes.

With God’s judgment, comes afflictions and these are designed to benefit the new man.  Those wise in the ways of the Lord will come to see how the Lord works His mysteries and brings forth Christ in us thru much tribulation and afflictions of all kinds.

Psa 119:75  I know, O LORD, that thy judgments are right, and that thou in faithfulness hast afflicted me.

Psa 119:76  Let, I pray thee, thy merciful kindness be for my comfort, according to thy word unto thy servant.

We may not know it now or feel joyful now in the midst of our trials and afflictions when our Loving Father brings His wrath and fury against our sins and wicked nature.  One day though we will be able to look back, once salvation has come to us and be very glad the Lord loved us enough to bring His wrath and anger against our sins. I just saw this gem over in Psalms.

Psa 90:15  Make us glad according to the days wherein thou hast afflicted us, and the years wherein we have seen evil.

Which also reminds us of what the purpose of this life is all about.

Ecc 1:13 I applied my heart to inquiring and exploring by wisdom concerning all that is done under the heavens:it is an experience of evil Elohim has given to the sons of humanity to humble them by it.

Some of these things are hard to understand at first so please ask if you have sincere questions.  The scriptures are not broken, they tell this wonderful truth from Genesis to Revelation.

The only way to come to know the Lord is thru the process of judgment. I have written extensively on this topic but if you will just search for the phrase “know the Lord” or “know I am the Lord” you will see the context is always, 100% of the time, the old man within us, the beast that all flesh is, being judged by having the wrath of God poured out upon us. Here is a link to an older post focused on that topic.

Pressing Onward To the Highest Calling of God

So I hope you can now understand the purposes of the Lord in finding fault when we sin and stray from His ways.  Even though He is the one causing it and working that in our lives;  it is by the process of Him bringing judgement upon us that we learn His ways and become like Him, knowing good and evil.  The Lord works evil for good and that really is the mystery of how Christ is formed in us and we learn good and evil.

Gen 50:20  But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive.

All men will go thru this process.  The only thing that separates the Elect is that we will be judged in this life while still in fleshly bodies.  We will experience our death to the old man and carnal mind first.  We will then be in the first resurrection and will be used to bring the rest of mankind thru the process of judgment at the second resurrection.  It is a very good thing that we be judged now, it is far better than being judged later with the rest of the world.

1Co 11:31 For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged.
1Co 11:32 But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world.

Far greater honor to be a priest and king of the Lord and to rule and reign with Him for the Millennium Reign and then be the judges of the world and bring the knowledge of Christ to all mankind.  That is why we press onward and upward for the higher calling of God.  That is why we as God’s Elect depart from inequity and strive to not be disqualified for such a great reward.  Here are three scriptures that speak of the critical role and function given to the very few that are God’s Very Elect.

1Co 6:2  Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters?

1Co 6:3  Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?

Mat 19:28  And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel (all mankind in the end)

Rev 20:4  And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

GRACE, judgment, sanctification

God’s Fury Brings Forth the New Man

MIGHTY HAND OF GODEze 20:33  As I live, saith the Lord GOD, surely with a mighty hand, and with a stretched out arm, and with fury poured out, will I rule over you:

A New Testament version of the same message is this:

Tit 2:11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,
Tit 2:12 CHASTENING (Teaching) us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world

We are indeed saved by grace.  It is this grace of God that chasten (teaches) us to deny ungodliness.  It is the Lord who brings salvation to His Elect first by His mighty hand which pours out His fury against all of our sin and unrighteousness.  If we are God’s Elect and so blessed to have our judgment begin now in this life, the Lord will begin that process by showing us that we are a beast, the man of sin, the abomination that causes desolation, the chief of sinners a totally marred vessel of clay.

1Pe 4:17 For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?

It begins by the Lord showing us that there truly is no one that is good in a marred vessel of clay (Jer 18:4) and that all of us are blind, miserable and naked until the gift of faith comes and the day of our judgment begins in earnest.

Rom 3:10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
Rom 3:11 There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.
Rom 3:12 They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.

So when the Lord begins to show us what we are really made of, He will seek occasions to bring judgment against our flesh to show us who and what we truly are and to bring us to the point of knowing we need a Savior and nothing good dwells in our flesh.  Salvation cannot come until we are brought to this point of understanding.

Rom 7:23 But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.
Rom 7:24 O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?

Jesus spoke about the times of the end, the events that would precede His second coming and revelation to us and the end of our carnal age.  Being shown who we really are is integral to God’s process as the Scriptures declare.

Mat 24:15  When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) …..Once we see this with spiritual eyes, THEN our judgment begins and we must endure great tribulation and suffer all the way to the end to be saved.

Mat 24:21  For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

Let no man deceive you, the day of the Lord, the day of our judgment will not come before its time.  Yet all of us will be deceived at first and think we are saved when we are not.

2Th 2:3  Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

2Th 2:4  Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

When we are given to understand the purposes of the Old Testament Scripture, specifically that they are written for us, God’s Elect who are living today and thru all the generations; then we will see many more witnesses to this truth.  It begins with the Lord speaking to us with ears to hear and showing us that we are the man of sin that has been blaspheming His name among the Gentiles.  Ezekiel Chapter 20 is a good rendering of this experience we all will live by in our appointed time.

Eze 20:30  Wherefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Are ye polluted after the manner of your fathers? and commit ye whoredom after their abominations? (This is the antichrist, you, me, all men in vessels of clay)

Eze 20:31  For when ye offer your gifts, when ye make your sons to pass through the fire, ye pollute yourselves with all your idols, even unto this day: and shall I be enquired of by you, O house of Israel? As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I will not be enquired of by you.

This is what we do when we are in Babylon.  We take the things of God and mix them with the things of the world.  We canker God’s gold and silver (James 5:3).  Babylon lives as the heathen, those not called of God, they are very much of this world and adopt the pagan practices and bring them into their self-imposed religion.  This is how we get the customs and traditions like Christmas and Easter, along with honoring physical birthdays among other things, all of which have their origins in pagan rituals.

Eze 20:32  And that which cometh into your mind shall not be at all, that ye say, We will be as the heathen, as the families of the countries, to serve wood and stone.

But when the Lord says enough is enough and our day of judgment has come, it will come and His fury will be poured out upon all of our unrighteousness.  Babylon preaches salvations means avoiding this, but nothing is further from the truth and all really means all.

Rom 1:18  For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against ALL ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;

And this pouring out of wrath through judgment is how the Lord saves us and yanks us kicking and screaming out of this world.

Eze 20:33  As I live, saith the Lord GOD, surely with a mighty hand, and with a stretched out arm, and with fury poured out, will I rule over you:

Eze 20:34  And I will bring you out from the people, and will gather you out of the countries wherein ye are scattered, with a mighty hand, and with a stretched out arm, and with fury poured out.

Notice how important this fury being poured out upon us and the desires of our old man is in the Lord’s plan of salvation for all men. This is the chastening grace of God, the mysterious acts of the Lord that scourges every son He receives.  This is the blessing that comes upon only a few, God’s very Elect in each and every generation.

Mat 22:14 For many are called, but few are chosen…

to be called out of this world and made a spectacle in front of those that claim His name but remain safely in the confines of this world in Babylon.  The Lord has to get us out of Egypt to test us in the wilderness and that was always His plan for His Israel.

Eze 20:35  And I will bring you into the wilderness of the people, and there will I plead with you face to face.

Eze 20:36  Like as I pleaded with your fathers in the wilderness of the land of Egypt, so will I plead with you, saith the Lord GOD.

It is a very good thing to be dragged out of Babylon, chosen out of this world. It is a blessing given to very few!

Joh 15:19 If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.

And next we see what is the result of this chastening grace, the scourging of our old man and flesh.  This process of scourging grace is what delivers us, it is what brings salvation which is removing sin from our midst.  God causes it, we have no part in it as we have seen over and over in recent posts.

Eze 20:37  And I will cause you to pass under the rod, and I will bring you into the bond of the covenant:

Do you see this?  Who is doing it?  Who makes covenant for us?

It is God not man!!!!!!

Eze 20:38  And I will purge out from among you the rebels, and them that transgress against me: I will bring them forth out of the country where they sojourn, and they shall not enter into the land of Israel: and ye shall know that I am the LORD.

There is NO YOU in any of this which perfectly aligns with the truth of who causes our obedience.  It has nothing to do with man’s free will.  It is all I will says the Lord.  Yet carnal man will continue to deny the Lord and share His glory for their good works and deeds.  I refer people often to Ezek 36 which contains the promises of the New Covenant and there is no mankind do anything, it is all the work of the Lord.  Here is the cliff notes of the promise.

Eze 36:24  For I will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries, and will bring you into your own land.

Eze 36:25  Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.

Eze 36:26  A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.

Eze 36:27  And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.

Babylon does not understand what the grace of God is and how it is worked into our lives.  Their version is tainted with the strong delusion of free will and in most cases eternal torment.  Orthodox churches of men typically pervert grace into a license to sin (aka sleazy grace) or they liken it to some special bonus power that God gives to us if we first choose Him of our own free will.  Either scenario of anything in between is true, there is NO TRUTH in anything we learn from Orthodox Christianity.  It truly is another jesus and a different gospel.   I know as I have spent considerable years in both camps of deception before the Lord had mercy on me and opened my eyes and ears.  All the truth, the whole stay has been taken away.  All of it is tainted with false doctrines.

Isa 3:1 For, behold, the Lord, the LORD of hosts, doth take away from Jerusalem and from Judah the stay and the staff, the whole stay of bread, and the whole stay of water,

The Lord lets us follow our idols of heart, the very ones He gives us because the Lord ways is to make sure when He does save us that we will know that HE DID IT ALL and our flesh has nothing to do with it.  And this is what it truly means to KNOW HE IS THE LORD, is to know that God is causing all things and that free will is the strong delusion.

Eze 20:39  As for you, O house of Israel, thus saith the Lord GOD; Go ye, serve ye every one his idols, and hereafter also, if ye will not hearken unto me: but pollute ye my holy name no more with your gifts, and with your idols.

Eze 20:40  For in mine holy mountain, in the mountain of the height of Israel, saith the Lord GOD, there shall all the house of Israel, all of them in the land, serve me: there will I accept them, and there will I require your offerings, and the firstfruits of your oblations, with all your holy things.

Christ IN US is the holy mountain where Israel shall be gathered and the house of God will dwell.  It will require us to be a living sacrifice, giving up this life to gain the life of the new man.  The old man must die and be crucified daily.  The burning of such offering is the sweet smelling savour unto the Lord.   This is how we will be sanctified before the heathen.

Eze 20:41  I will accept you with your sweet savour, when I bring you out from the people, and gather you out of the countries wherein ye have been scattered; and I will be sanctified in you before the heathen.

When God does it, then we shall know He is the Lord and that our sanctification was all HIS WORK.  We will boast not in bringing anything to our deliverance.  We indeed are the works of His hands.

Eze 20:42  And ye shall know that I am the LORD, when I shall bring you into the land of Israel, into the country for the which I lifted up mine hand to give it to your fathers.

This is how the Lord humbles us.  He causes us to stray from His ways and fall and down and be ensnared in sin and trespasses.  Such is blasphemy to the multitudes in Babylonian bondage which includes ALL the churches of men and Orthodox Chrisitianity.  But what sayeth the Scripture?

Isa 63:17  O LORD, why hast thou made us to err from thy ways, and hardened our heart from thy fear?

Rom 9:16  So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.

Rom 9:17  For the scripture saith unto Pharaoh, Even for this same purpose have I raised thee up, that I might shew my power in thee, and that my name might be declared throughout all the earth.

Rom 9:18  Therefore hath he mercy on whom he will have mercy, and whom he will he hardeneth.

This way, when we are delivered by the Lord, He will show us that we are that man of sin and break us of all confidence we had in our flesh and free will.  He will bring occasions against us that will ensure we fall down so He can then chasten us and this is how we learn righteousness by the process of judgment.

Eze 20:43  And there shall ye remember your ways, and all your doings, wherein ye have been defiled; and ye shall lothe yourselves in your own sight for all your evils that ye have committed.

Eze 20:44  And ye shall know that I am the LORD, when I have wrought with you for my name’s sake, not according to your wicked ways, nor according to your corrupt doings, O ye house of Israel, saith the Lord GOD.

Isa 26:9  With my soul have I desired thee in the night; yea, with my spirit within me will I seek thee early: for when thy judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness.

If we have been given ear to hear we will come to see and know that we are the earth.

Jer 22:29  O earth, earth, earth, hear the word of the LORD.

And once we have been prepared of the Lord, He sends us out to speak His words of fire to others.  If God has prepared their hearts and opened their ears, they will hear the word we speak and they in turn will begin their process of judgment and having the sin and lies of Babylon burned out of them over time.

Eze 20:45  Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

Eze 20:46  Son of man, set thy face toward the south, and drop thy word toward the south, and prophesy against the forest of the south field;

Eze 20:47  And say to the forest of the south, Hear the word of the LORD; Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will kindle a fire in thee, and it shall devour every green tree in thee, and every dry tree: the flaming flame shall not be quenched, and all faces from the south to the north shall be burned therein.

Eze 20:48  And all flesh shall see that I the LORD have kindled it: it shall not be quenched.

Once this truly happens in our lives, we will know it is from the Lord.  The inner burning cannot be quenched and His word that burns within us will not return to Him void, it will accomplish all it is intended to accomplish.

Isa 55:11  So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

We won’t be able to quench it even though we will try as we hold on to our old man.  But the derision we face and the persecution and rejection from all those in the world is not enough to withstand the fire of God’s word implanted in our hearts.  Jeremiah tried and we will try to but God is stronger than us.

Jer 20:7  O LORD, thou hast deceived me, and I was deceived: thou art stronger than I, and hast prevailed: I am in derision daily, every one mocketh me.

Jer 20:8  For since I spake, I cried out, I cried violence and spoil; because the word of the LORD was made a reproach unto me, and a derision, daily.

Jer 20:9  Then I said, I will not make mention of him, nor speak any more in his name. But his word was in mine heart as a burning fire shut up in my bones, and I was weary with forbearing, and I could not stay.

Jeremiah could not keep quiet, he was caused to speak the words of the Lord and so it is with all of His Elect.  They will not receive it but we are commanded to speak it anyway and this will cause the world to hate us and persecute us the longer we walk in obedience.

Jer 20:10  For I heard the defaming of many, fear on every side. Report, say they, and we will report it. All my familiars watched for my halting, saying, Peradventure he will be enticed, and we shall prevail against him, and we shall take our revenge on him.

Jer 20:11  But the LORD is with me as a mighty terrible one: therefore my persecutors shall stumble, and they shall not prevail: they shall be greatly ashamed; for they shall not prosper: their everlasting confusion shall never be forgotten.

When we speak to people, very few, an almost infinitesimal percentage of people will hear and understand the truth.  That is the way God has ordained it to be as many are called and few are chosen.  To hear the word of the Lord one must have been given ears to hear as else our words, which are the words of Christ will be a parable unto them.  They will not understand.

Eze 20:49  Then said I, Ah Lord GOD! they say of me, Doth he not speak parables?

Mat 13:9  Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.

Mat 13:10  And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables?

Mat 13:11  He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.

The grace of God includes much more than God’s unmerited favor.  It amazes me that those who claim to believe in grace and read the Scriptures will then state their belief in eternal hell, free will and direct contradiction to this powerful statement on God’s grace.

Rom 5:20 Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:

If only they could believe.  Nobody is going to out sin the grace of God.  Let God be true and every man a liar!  His arm is not too short to save all men.  His grace will not fail to save all and let’s remember what salvation really is.

Eze 36:24 For I will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries, and will bring you into your own land.

Eze 36:25Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.

Eze 36:28 And ye shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and ye shall be my people, and I will be your God.
Eze 36:29 I will also save you from all your uncleannesses: and I will call for the corn, and will increase it, and lay no famine upon you.
Eze 36:30 And I will multiply the fruit of the tree, and the increase of the field, that ye shall receive no more reproach of famine among the heathen.

The Lord will drag us our from the heathen, choose us out of this world to bring us salvation.  He who starts that good work in us will not fail to bring it about.  Notice it is the Lord doing the performing, we are just the pieces of clay!

Php 1:6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:

I hope this short post will edify the few the Lord has sent here.  Coming to understand the words of the Old Testament and how they speak eternal life to those with ears to hear has been a tremendous blessing.  As kings and priests of God, instructed by the Spirit of God, we will bring the treasure of His word out of both the old and the new.

Mat 13:52  Then said he unto them, Therefore every scribe which is instructed unto the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which bringeth forth out of his treasure things new and old.

A brother in Christ still learning how to walk in this furnace,

Pete

judgment

More Desirable than Gold

Mal 3:2-3  “But who can endure the day of His coming?

And who can stand when He appears?
For He is like a refiner’s fire
And like launderers’ soap.
3 He will sit as a refiner and a purifier of silver;
He will purify the sons of Levi,
And purge them as gold and silver

Nobody will be able to endure the day of the Lord’s coming and His appearance to each of us in our appointed time.  This day, is the day of salvation, appointed for each of us before the world even was formed.  But this day, will not come easy; it will come with much suffering and affliction.  It will be extremely hot in this furnace for those called and chosen as disciples of Jesus Christ.  This is the righteous judgment of God and this is how the sons of God are made pure and the carnal mind is destroyed.  This is the way God fulfills the statement He made to Adam,  You Shall Surely Die.

For those given ears to hear and eyes to see, the judgments of God are such a wonderful thing.  Those predestinated to be of the house of God will come to know this truth and be dragged out of the deception of the world and especially the false doctrines of orthodox Christianity.

1 Peter 4:17 For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God

Contrary to what is taught and believed in Babylon, these judgments are right now, in this body of flesh for those the Lord has chosen.  The few chosen, “the Elect”, are this house of God on this earth and in each successive generation.  The life of these disciples will be through much tribulation as that is the way of all that are so blessed by their election from the Father.  These words of Peter are written to and for the edification of those chosen by God to endure judgment right now.  Jesus is not saving nor is He judging all the world now,  only the Elect.

1 Peter 4:12 Beloved, do not think it strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you

The whole earth will learn righteousness eventually, and it is through God’s judgments that we are taught.  God is truly the ONE teacher that will show us these things by giving us eyes to see and ears to hear.  He will speak thru the body of Christ.

The WORD Judges Us

John 6:63 The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life

It is the spiritual words of our Lord that judge us.  Jesus did not come to judge us, He came to save the world and He will save all the world in the end, but it is thru His judgments that all will come to be saved. This heavenly wisdom is hidden in a riddle in these very words of Jesus.

John 12:47-48 And if anyone hears My words and does not believe, I do not judge him; for I did not come to judge the world but to save the world. 48 He who rejects Me, and does not receive My words, has that which judges him—the word that I have spoken will judge him in the last day.

Jesus does not judge those who do not believe, those not given ears to hear and eyes to see.  But His words will ultimately judge us all, it is only a matter of God’s appointed times for each of us.  When we are given our ears to hear, then our judgment will begin.  For most that will be in the resurrection of the dead, but for the chosen few, they hear now and their judgment has already begun.

We have several Scriptures I know of that foretell this great mystery of the WORD coming to bring judgment.  Here are two that most may be familiar with and I hope your understanding is expanded to know of these awesome judgments of God that destroy flesh.

Ezekiel 2:9-10  Now when I looked, there was a hand stretched out to me; and behold, a scroll of a book was in it. 10 Then He spread it before me; and there was writing on the inside and on the outside, and written on it were lamentations and mourning and woe

Revelation 10:10  Then I took the little book out of the angel’s hand and ate it, and it was as sweet as honey in my mouth. But when I had eaten it, my stomach became bitter.

Those so blessed to be chosen and given ears, will come and they will take these words to heart.  And they will then be judged and it will be bitter and with it will come lamentations, mourning and woe.  We will learn righteousness from these judgments.

The WORD of God is indeed a fire and it will burn and consume the wood, which is our carnal minds and fleshly pursuits.

Jer 5:14  Behold, I will make My words in your mouth fire, and this people wood, and it shall devour them.

Luke 12:49 I came to send fire on the earth, and how I wish it were already kindled!

The chosen Body of Christ is this fire that goes throughout all the world speaking His Words and this true glorious gospel.  That fire is now kindled in me and with many others the Lord has brought me into fellowship with.

Oh what a blessing to have God reveal the mysteries of the kingdom to babes that He has chosen.  I want to share an understanding that the Lord has solidified in the three months since the complete removal of the veil that had kept me from seeing the glory of this good news gospel.  Let’s look at what the Scriptures actually teach about the judgment and the wrath of God.  The professing church has this all wrong and is bound in unbelief of this good news of the salvation of all men.  Maybe, someone will read this that has been given ears to hear by the Lord.  If so, they will hear.

Matthew 11:15  He who has ears, let him hear

I used to speak about these topics of wrath and judgment constantly in my former blog postings and videos.  My carnal mind was bound in deception and unbelief and I had a false image of God and truly taught another gospel.  But I was in good company as the entire Orthodox Church and all the multitudes of the many called also have a false gospel and another Jesus.  Carnal minds cannot help but always think of judgment as negative and views this as punishment from an angry wrathful God.  This goes so far to even support the idea that God will punish the majority of His creation infinitely, forever without end in a place called eternal hell.  But nothing could be farther from the truth.

The Purpose of Judgment

ISA 26:9  For when Thy judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness

The way we learn righteousness is by experiencing God’s judgments.  When these prophetic words are fulfilled in the ages to come,  then all men shall be saved as all men will have learned righteousness.  We don’t learn righteousness by reading a book, going to a church building; we only learn it by going thru what is known as a furnace of affliction.  Jesus also told us one key reason why He came into this world.

John 9:39  And Jesus said, “For judgment I have come into this world, that those who do not see may see, and that those who see may be made blind.

As the Lord stated, it is through this judgment that He will open spiritual eyes of those who are blind and will shut spiritual eyes of those who claim they see.  Many profess Christ but only a very few are chosen to undergo this required judgment here and now on this side of the grave.

Matthew 22:14 For many are called, but few are chosen

The Way of the Cross

All that are saved will follow in the footsteps of Christ.  This is not just some cliché; this is a real walk full of suffering and affliction.  The cost of being a disciple is very steep; it just might cost you everything if the Lord wills it.  But as Christ is in the world, so shall we.

1 John 4:17 as He is, so are we in this world

COL 1:24  I now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up in my flesh what is lacking in the afflictions of Christ

Like Christ, we will lose our life to save our life.  Like Christ we will suffer.  It pleased the Father to crush His son.  We too will fill up on the afflictions of Christ in judgment.  This is work of God, the mystery of Christ being formed in us and the new spiritual man coming forth out of the darkness.  God will humble the pride of man and it is thru these judgments that He does it.  Blessed is the poor in spirit for they shall see God.

The idea that God’s Elect or those He saves will be spared His wrath is an absolute falsehood. Like the doctrines of eternal hell and man’s supposed free will,   this false Jesus and another gospel has deceived all of the organized and even the unorganized churches.  All this talk about a secret rapture to whisk away God’s people to avoid wrath is such nonsense it will truly be laughable when you see it.  God builds His church His way and His way is not man’s way and will confound the wisdom of foolish men.

Rom 1:18 for the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness

All men sin.  All men have ungodliness and unrighteousness in them.  That is the way all men come into this world.  God brings wrath upon the ones He has chosen, the sons of disobedience.  Before we come to know the truth we will hold this truth and claim to know God but we do it in the flesh, in our unrighteousness.   Our righteousness is filthy rags and this will never change.

Here is a powerful verse for those with ears that show the wonder of this fire and the sword, which is the WORD of GOD destroying the flesh of men.  This is not eternal hell or physical wrath; these are spiritual things that come upon those so blessed to be chosen for salvation in this age.

Isa 66:15-16  For, behold, the Lord will come with fire, and with his chariots like a whirlwind, to render his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire. 16 For by fire and by his sword will the Lord plead with all flesh: and the slain of the Lord shall be many.

Carnal man will always take these kinds of verses, just like I did, and use them to promote a false image of God, who truly is merciful and the epitome of LOVE.  These fires which is His Word is sent for a purpose, which is to judge us.  This is what purifies the sons of God.  When we come to see this and know God is controlling everything, our every step and even our thoughts, then we will shake with fear and this WORD will work its purposes.

ISA 33:14  The sinners in Jerusalem shake with fear.

Terror seizes the godless.
“Who can live with this devouring fire?” they cry.
“Who can survive this all-consuming fire?”

God’s judgment is to come and prepare the way by clearing the land that is our hearts.  It will be made desolate and our laughter will be turned to mourning and our joy to gloom as James said.  Jeremiah said it a little differently.

Jeremiah 7:34  I will bring an end to the sounds of joy and gladness and to the voices of bride and bridegroom in the towns of Judah and the streets of Jerusalem, for the land will become desolate.

Carnal men continue to think in terms of an eternal hell and a physical fleshly wrath, but what God is doing is chopping down the tree that is the pride of man.  He is destroying the child of the our father the devil all men are born into.  This is God’s way and God’s process of remaking all things new.  The way is through great tribulation.

Isaiah 24:11  There is an outcry in the streets concerning the wine; All joy turns to gloom. The gaiety of the earth is banished

This righteous judgment of God is not forever.  The purposes of judgment are all remedial and to purify us as the sons of Levi as the opening verse to this post from Malachi says.   It is only for a little while and it works its wonder in the chosen ones and this is the song that they will sing when the new heart is given.  God will bring comfort upon His people.

Isaiah 49:13  Sing, O heavens! Be joyful, O earth! And break out in singing, O mountains! For the Lord has comforted His people, And will have mercy on His afflicted

The righteous judgments of God are a wonderful mystery, hidden from the eyes of the world.  Such judgments are the very acts of God,  the very tribulations all so blessed and chosen by God that we will all endure in our appointed time.  With this understanding of the purposes of God’s judgment and looking at those spiritual words of wrath, fire, whirlwind, etc,  we can come to appreciate what King David wrote in this Psalm.

Psalm 19:9-11 The judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether.
10 More to be desired are they than gold,
Yea, than much fine gold;
Sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.
11 Moreover by them Your servant is warned,
And in keeping them there is great reward

The stories of old, written for our own admonition today foretell of the destruction that must take place in each of us in our appointed time.   The wicked man that child of the devil we all are born as, will be slain of the Lord.  His WORD will not return to Him void, it will accomplish its purposes in all men.   Oh thank God for this destruction because it must take place for new life to take root.

LAM 2:8  The Lord has purposed to destroy
The wall of the daughter of Zion.
He has stretched out a line;
He has not withdrawn His hand from destroying;
Therefore He has caused the rampart and wall to lament;
They languished together.

With eyes to see and ears to hear,  given to us and revealed to us only in God’s mercy, we can see these truths and come to surrender our lives to God.  It is the ungodly; the ones NOT CHOSEN that SHALL NOT see  judgment.  But you must also know that no body is righteous, none not even one.  The Lord is the righteousness of all that are righteous and no longer ungodly.  Salvation really is all of the Lord.  Tis by grace we are all saved!

Psalm 1:5-6  Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, Nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. 6 For the Lord knows the way of the righteous, But the way of the ungodly shall perish.

Wow, what a wonderful Psalm for those with ears to hear.  Most will look at this verse 5 and think it is a typo, but it is not.  It is good thing that the child of the devil, the old fleshly man perishes.  Carnal man has twisted these words with its doctrines of free will and an eternal hell and in doing so has created contradictions and planted seeds of self righteousness.  Such self righteousness is a stench in the nostrils of God.  It is the ungodly, the wicked man that will not stand in the judgment.  This is the exact opposite of what Babylon teaches and the multitudes believe.

True sons of God is where the judgment of God begins.  Contrary to the flesh doctrines that include eternal hell, God is not judging the whole world right now, nor is He saving them.

1 Peter 4:17  For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who do not obey the gospel of God?

Hebrews 12:6  For whom the Lord loves He chastens, And scourges every son whom He receives

Few there be shall find the way this side of the grave.  Only the chosen few, the very Elect.  True sons of God will be scourged and endure severe trials and tribulations.  It is the false sons, those who claim the name of Christ but are not, that will not receive this judgment now.  They are not sons, but illegitimate, just as the word says.

Hebrews 12:7-8  If you endure chastening, God deals with you as with sons; for what son is there whom a father does not chasten? 8 But if you are without chastening, of which all have become partakers, then you are illegitimate and not sons.

It is through this chastening that we are instructed and learn good and evil and come to know true righteousness that is Christ.  These terms judgment,  chastening, scourging, wrath, all if you have eyes to see and ears to hear, speak to the one process that God uses to bring salvation to men.  It comes to each of us in our appointed times, this is the mystery only the Elect are given eyes to see.

Now I can look back at where God had led me and the evil and wicked things I have done, and I can see God’s hands over all of it.  He even allowed me to become a very judgmental and condemning Pharisee for several years who held hatred in my heart for others.

Romans 11:33 How unsearchable are His judgments and His ways past finding out!

God is determined,  He has already spoken that man shall surely die.  The child of  the devil will be destroyed.  Our carnal minds will be chopped down and we all will be humbled in our appointed time.  God is working all these things in our lives to accomplish this destruction

Isaiah 28:21-22 For the Lord will rise up as at Mount Perazim,
He will be angry as in the Valley of Gibeon
That He may do His work, His awesome work,
And bring to pass His act, His unusual act.
22 Now therefore, do not be mockers,
Lest your bonds be made strong;
For I have heard from the Lord God of hosts,
A destruction determined even upon the whole earth.

This destruction determined upon the whole earth is a promise of the salvation of all men if you have ears to hear.  God uses evil for good.  He brings about destruction and by doing so saves many.  Joseph spoke this spiritual truth to his brothers who thought the evil they had done to Joseph was all their doing;  yet it was all of God’s doing.

Genesis 50:20  But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive.

Man Cannot Avoid Judgment

The professing church by and large teaches that Christians avoid God’s judgments by choosing God in their own free will.  I hope anyone believing that having read this far is beginning to see that this is a lie and another false doctrine of Babylon.  All men shall be judged in their appointed times.  For most this will be in the ages to come at the resurrection of the dead.  For the chosen few, the house of God, it is now that endure these judgments and this discipline of the Lord.

Proverbs 3:12 because the LORD disciplines those he loves, as a father the son he delights in.

Proverbs 3:11 My son, do not despise the LORD’s discipline and do not resent his rebuke

Jesus never prayed for the disciples to be taken out of this world in a rapture.  He prayed that their faith would not fail them and they would endure God’s judgments and once they come thru the furnace, then they in turn could strengthen their brothers and sisters in Christ.

Luke 22:32 But I have prayed for you, that your faith fail not: and when you are converted, strengthen your brothers.

I share in David’s prayer that believe you me I have prayed many times when I have sinned.  God is faithful and answering my prayer and is now using me, like He used David to teach trangressors His ways and not the false gospels of Babylon churches.

Psalm 51:10-13  Create in me a clean heart, O God; And renew a right spirit within me.  11Cast me not away from thy presence; And take not thy holy Spirit from me.  12Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; And uphold me with a willing spirit.  13Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; And sinners shall be converted unto thee.

This is what servants of the Lord do.  They go out and speak the word of truth and God will drag (compel) those He has chosen into His house so it will be filled.

Luke 14:23  Then the master said to the servant, ‘Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.

I just saw this gem the other day in the parable of the wedding feast.  Knowing the good purpose of judgments and fire,  we can now see that this anger of the Lord against the wicked (all of us) is what destroys our carnal minds and burns up and makes the land of our hearts desolate.

MAT 22:7-10  – But when the king heard about it, he was furious. And he sent out his armies, destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city. 8 Then he said to his servants, ‘The wedding is ready, but those who were invited were not worthy. 9 Therefore go into the highways, and as many as you find, invite to the wedding.’ 10 So those servants went out into the highways and gathered together all whom they found, both bad and good. And the wedding hall was filled with guests.

All the Father has given to Christ shall come and He will lose none.  The wedding hall will be filled as a result of God’s righteous judgments.  That is a wonderful promise.

I end this with the words of the Lord spoken thru the prophet Jeremiah.  His people do NOT know the judgment of the Lord.  They do not understand  and reject the truth and continue to deal falsely clinging to their false peace they get from trusting in the works of their own hands.

Jeremiah 8:6 Even the stork in the heavens
Knows her appointed times;
And the turtledove, the swift, and the swallow
Observe the time of their coming.
But My people do not know the judgment of the Lord.

Until our time arrives, we will be bound in unbelief and snared in the false doctrines and gospels of Babylon.  We will not understand the judgment of the Lord until our eyes are healed and ears opened.  I pray some of you reading this will begin to see and to hear these wonderful truths of our good God whose love for us will never fail.

But God has already spoken and we know that most will not be able to see the truth.  They will be taken captive and will reject the true WORD.

8 “How can you say, ‘We are wise,
And the law of the Lord is with us’?
Look, the false pen of the scribe certainly works falsehood.
9 The wise men are ashamed,
They are dismayed and taken.
………………………

Because from the least even to the greatest
Everyone is given to covetousness;
From the prophet even to the priest
Everyone deals falsely.
11 For they have healed the hurt of the daughter of My people slightly,
Saying, ‘Peace, peace!’
When there is no peace.

Those that teach salvation is this blissful walk are blind men that walk after the flesh.  They say “peace peace”but there is no true peace.  They do not yet know of the judgments of the Lord.  But there is good news for those who can hear it.

1 Thess 5:3  For when they say, “Peace and safety!” then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape.

This destruction is a very good thing and those upon whom it comes are the sons of Levi,  they are the chosen children of God.   The whole Christian world is bound by a veil that has them believing all these verses speak of some kind of eternal retribution and punishment from a God of wrath.  Oh I wish they could see what I see and know the one who is mighty to save.

It is only thru much tribulation and trials that we shall enter into the kingdom of God.  The way to God is thru the furnace.  It is this affliction and scouring, the righteous judgment of God that purifies us and makes us useful for service in the kingdom of God.

ACTS 14:22  We must through many tribulations enter the kingdom of God

ISA 48:10  Behold, I have refined you, but not as silver; I have tested you in the furnace of affliction

Malachi 3:3  He will sit as a refiner and a purifier of silver; He will purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver

God is a refiner and purifier of hearts of men.  This comes by judgment.  Knowing the purposes of God’s judgments and the promise of salvation for all, we can endure the persecution by others, especially those of the false circumcision that say they are spiritual Jews but are not.  We will forgive them knowing they know not what they are doing and that their destruction is yet future in the ages to come when the Lord returns.

2 Thess 1:9  These shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power, 10 when He comes, in that Day, to be glorified in His saints and to be admired among all those who believe, because our testimony among you was believed

There is much to be learned and taught about how God brings these judgments upon His chosen ones and eventually to all men as His process of salvation.  Ezekiel 16 is a wonderful chapter that speaks of these things and the destruction of our “carnal” houses, the temple where God dwells in our hearts.  God will use our lovers, the idols of our hearts against us to bring this judgment.  Once we endure this burning and He makes us (that’s right GOD MAKES US), cease playing the harlot and committing spiritual adultery,  then and only then the anger of our Father subside and peace will fill our hearts.

Ezekiel 16:40-42  “They shall also bring up an assembly against you, and they shall stone you with stones and thrust you through with their swords. 41 They shall burn your houses with fire, and execute judgments on you in the sight of many women; and I will make you cease playing the harlot, and you shall no longer hire lovers. 42 So I will lay to rest My fury toward you, and My jealousy shall depart from you. I will be quiet, and be angry no more.

The judgments of God are sweet and more desirable than gold.   I look forward to the day when all men will come to know of His goodness and enduring mercy and the works of His hands that are all over everything we experience in our lives.  God is good.

May the peace of God rest upon the saints and encourage us all in these evil days.
