Introduction.

1Th 5:1 But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you.

1Th 5:2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.

Dan 2:19 Then was the secret revealed unto Daniel in a night vision. Then Daniel blessed the God of heaven.

Dan 2:20 Daniel answered and said, Blessed be the name of God for ever and ever: for wisdom and might are his:

Dan 2:21 And he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, […and their kingdom..] and setteth up kings: […in a new kingdom] he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding:

Dan 2:22 He revealeth the deep and secret things: he knoweth what is in the darkness, and the light dwelleth with him.

The secrets of the Lord are revealed to those that are His throughout all generations, showing them all things that must shortly come to pass.

Psa 25:14 The secret of the Lord is with them that fear him; and he will shew them his covenant.

The revelations of Jesus Christ are with those that keep His sayings:

Amo 3:7 Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.

In this study, we will be focusing on the times and seasons of God’s work which He reveals to His own at the appointed times. There is a time that it is not for any to know these things and the understanding remains hidden, and we must each tarry a little season for it to be revealed.

Dan 12:8 And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things?

To truly comprehend these times and seasons in Scripture, the “end times”, “the last hour”, “last times” mentioned throughout by the Old Testament prophets and the apostles of the Lord, we must remind ourselves the Father’s single purpose from the beginning of time, have been determined already before the foundation of the world [Isa 46:10].

Act 15:18 Known unto God are all his works from the beginning of the world.

Failure to hold fast and keep this singular purpose at the forefront of our minds will lead to Scripture remaining sealed to us, leading us to become puffed up against others, boasting against where the works of God is at in others, and thereby remaining spiritually lost ourselves.

It is our hope and prayers that we continue to repent of these idols of the natural man regarding the times and seasons of all the works of God and be caused to grow in virtue and escape the corruption that is in the world through the knowledge of His works.

2Pe 1:3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:

2Pe 1:4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

All the works of God and their timing have been kept secret from the foundation of the world and are being revealed to His own at “the end times” as we are raised with Christ to life.   Those being saved declare His works with rejoicing.

Psa 118:17  I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD.

Psa 145:4  One generation [His chosen ones in every age] shall praise thy works to another, and shall declare thy mighty acts.

We will be rightly dividing the word of Truth about these times and season, that our knowledge and obedience be increased to continue escaping the lusts that are in the world.

Mat 13:35 That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things which have been kept secret from the foundation of the world.

The Father’s purpose.

There is no other Way under heaven to know and comprehend the Father’s age lasting purpose, except through the revelation of Jesus Christ.

Eph 1:9 Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself:

Christ is in the Father, and the age lasting purpose of the Father is all hidden in Christ Jesus.

Joh 14:10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, […and His times and seasons..] he doeth the works.

Joh 14:11 Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works’ sake.

Eph 3:9 And to make all men see […at the appointed time in due order..] what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:

Therefore to know “the times or the seasons which are hid in the Father, Jesus Christ (in whom all is purposed) must first be revealed to us, for He and the Father are one.

Joh 10:30 I and my Father are one.

Eph 3:11 According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord:

All the apostles’ writings were the revelation of Jesus Christ inspired of the Holy Spirit of the Father.

Paul:

Gal 1:12 For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.

Peter:

 1Pe 1:13 Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;

John:

Rev 1:1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John:

The Father’s end purpose in all His times and seasons is:

Eph 1:4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love [obedience – 1Jo 5:3]:

1Pe 1:14 As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance:

1Pe 1:15 But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;

This state of perfection is signified as being in the new heavens and a new earth.

2Pe 3:13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

Rev 21:1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; [= not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts…] and there was no more sea.

Prior studies have already looked closely how this perfection is achieved…through fiery trials (Peter), dying daily (Paul), lake of fire (John)…

Jud 1:15 To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.

Jas 1:2 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;

Jas 1:3 Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.

Jas 1:4 But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.

All these New Testaments writings telling us of God’s purpose to mold man into His image, were hidden from the beginning in the Old Testament types and shadows:

Gen 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our [express] image, after our likenessand let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

The express image of God the Father is the Son, through whom all times and seasons are in:

Heb 1:2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all thingsby whom also he made the worlds; [Greek word “aions” = ages]

Heb 1:3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his personand upholding all things […times and seasons, the ages..] by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;

As disciples, when we lose sight of the outcome of all the ages that the Father is creating us in His express image (the New Man established in true holiness and righteousness in the Father’s kingdom); we remain blinded to the heavenly vision and go spiritually astray. Many have been spiritually wounded by their own earthly lusts, and many strong in knowledge have been spiritually slain by their idols of times and seasons of the Lord.

There is a time and season appointed where every purpose and every work of the Lord is revealed, showing us His beautiful works to the children of men.

Ecc 3:1 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:

That most beautiful of the Father’s work is briefly comprehended in this secret:

Col 1:26 Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints:

Col 1:27 To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, [= the Love / fullness of God..] the hope of glory:

Col 1:28 Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus:

Col 1:29 Whereunto I also labour, striving according to his working, which worketh in me mightily.

Contrary to our old idolatrous belief, the Gentiles who do not know God at this time also only have one hope, which is in Christ Jesus.

Eph 4:4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;

No man that truly comprehend and knows the Truth will dare argue that the elect overcomers, those who are first given to overcome all that is in the world of any age are not special.  They are special, a peculiar people, a beautiful people, not of themselves, but by the reason of the Spirit of Jesus Christ dwelling in their new hearts.

1Pe 2:9  But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him [God does the work] who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:

1Pe 2:10  Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.

Those elect overcomers were once not a people of God, being spiritual Gentiles themselves [Eph 2:11-13] will also be given the honor of showing the glory, the exceeding riches of the Father’s grace through Jesus Christ to the rest of men that will be gathered in Christ in due time.  These are the greater works the Lord [Phi 2:13] is working in those He chooses in each generation to bring all mankind to Himself in the appointed harvests.

Joh 14:12  Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.

The elect overcomers who are made faithful to the end [Rev 17:14] are not being made God’s handiwork now just so that others less spiritually fortunate [spiritual Gentiles now] can remain permanently in the lesser state.

It is not the Lord’s end purpose or intention to parade His elect of the ages before the rest of men just to show how special to Him they are. We are learning in our judgment that we are nothing of ourselves [Joh 15:5] and no flesh or carnal mind will be sharing in God’s glory.

Rev 14:7  Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.

Contrary to the false doctrine of the world, God is not a God of just the few because He manifests to a few first. He is the God of the whole heaven and earth, and all will be glorified in Him and will live in the Spirit unto Him at the end of all ages.

Jer 32:27 Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?

Luk 20:38 For he is not a God of the dead, but of the living: for all live unto him.

Mat 13:33  Another parable spake he unto them; The kingdom of heaven is like unto leaven, which a woman took, and hid in three measures [three harvests] of meal, till the whole was leavened.

It is the Father’s heart that having kindly shown the few first fruits of His creation His great mercy and riches, to then use that little Body [second harvest of men- see Rewards Study] – also called the Church – to be the channel / mediator [Eph 3:10] to show the rest of men His exceeding riches and bring all mankind into the Body of Christ and partakers of the same precious promises.

Eph 3:5 Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men as it is NOW revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit;

Eph 3:6 That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel:

Rom 11:33 O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!

Ecc 3:11 He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: [= to “present every man perfect in Christ Jesus” ] also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end.

Everything beautiful in His time.

All the times and seasons of our lives are all in the hand of God in Christ Jesus.

Psa 31:15 My times are in thy hand: deliver me from the hand of mine enemies, and from them that persecute me.

We spend much of those times and seasons in the kingdom of this world, living according to the flesh, being blinded by the affairs of the world and being entangled in many carnal things in our hearts and minds. We naturally face many worries of life, anxious for such things as;

Mat 6:31 (ASV) Be not therefore anxious, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?

These very things are what God first sets in the natural heart, to keep secret His works from the kingdom of men, the kingdom of this world. It is the world in our natural hearts that keeps us in the realm of spiritual darkness, and the secrets of God many throughout the ages have been seeking to remain hidden from us.

2Co 4:3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:

2Co 4:4 In whom the god of this world [our carnally minded father the Devil] hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

Even though kept secret and hidden to many at this time, the end purpose of God’s work is to make all “beautiful in His time”, that is to say, the establishment of the age lasting kingdom of God within “every man”.

Dan 7:13 (ASV) I saw in the night-visions, and, behold, there came with the clouds of heaven one like unto a son of man, and he came even to the ancient of days, and they brought him near before him.

Dan 7:14 (ASV) And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all the peoples, nations, and languages should serve HIM: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and HIS kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.

Dan 7:27 (ASV) And the kingdom and the dominion, and the greatness of the kingdoms under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the Most High: his kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and ALL dominions shall serve and obey him.

Holding fast to the traditions and principles of Christ so as not to be seduced by the error of the spirit of the Wicked, there is nothing new, whether a covenant, a dominion or a kingdom which is established without first partaking of the old dominion and kingdom.

Mat 4:4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth [=Lam 3:38] out of the mouth of God.

After the allocated time and seasons under the dominion in the first kingdom of men, the Lord Christ Jesus appears to redeem us from this evil kingdom and its many gods to establish the second, the dominion and age lasting kingdom of the Father.

Heb 10:9  Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, [….=the god of this world. There is a time and season for this taking away....] that he may establish the second.

But when shall these things be?  This thought has troubled many throughout time, from the prophets of old to this present day.

Dan 7:28 (ASV) Here is the end of the matter. As for me, Daniel, my thoughts much troubled me, and my countenance was changed in me: but I kept the matter in my heart.

1Pe 1:10 Of which [..time of..] salvation the prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you:

1Pe 1:11 Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow.

We are not left to speculate of the “manner of time”, like many do until this present day piercing themselves with many sorrows. The Lord has not left His own without an answer. The Lord answers those who diligently seek the Truth of when these things must be, and when it shall come to pass in our lives.

Luk 21:7 And they asked him, saying, Master, but when shall these things be? and what sign will there be when these things shall come to pass?

Mat 24:3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy [second ] coming, and of the end of the world? [Gk:age]

Hidden in Christ’s answer is that the second coming of himself without “sinful flesh” [Rom 8:3, Heb 9:28].  His second coming within us is without the terrestrial body of flesh and blood.

That is the beginning of the end of the kingdom of this world, in that prepared body. It is an inner event, not one to be looking out’ there.

Heb 10:5 Wherefore when he cometh into the world, [=in our hearts and minds] he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me:

All is not made instantly glorious or beautiful. It is a process unto perfection where we are imputed the knowledge of evil along the Way.

Ecc 1:13 I applied my heart to inquiring and exploring by wisdom concerning all that is done under the heavens:it is an experience of evil Elohim has given to the sons of humanity to humble them by it.

 Let no man seduce you.

What leads many off the path of holiness and righteousness of Christ is the constant focus on eschatology, outward prophecies of end times and many theologies of men about time that is not of God, but is actually the works of the great dragon, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceives the whole world.  There is no greater concentration of warnings about deceivers than there is about the times of the end.

Mar 13:5  And Jesus answering them began to say, Take heed lest any man deceive you:

Mar 13:6  For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many

The times and seasons are also kept secret “in hidden wisdom”, “parables”, all in the Lord to be revealed in due times. It is signified in scripture in several different ways, all covering the same “one event” [Ecc 9:2-3], covering the time and season God puts Man through to remake us in His image. Only those very few, called the very Elect, will be given the understanding by the Lord in this age and mercifully dragged out of these many deceptions.

Mat 24:24  For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

As we go unto perfection in Christ, it is crucial that we have at the forefront of our minds that all the times we speak of is simply “the appointed time of the Father” for each man, at each stage.   The times and seasons relate to the Lord’s work in the heavens and the earth which spiritual words are about His work in the kingdom of God that is within us [Luk 17:21].  The Word which is the fire shall declare His work in us in due time [1Co 3:13]

Time in God’s reasoning is not some linear time on an earthly clock. God is not bound by earth’s time zones or literal seasons. They are all signified times! They point to a deeper living and active (Heb 4:12) spiritual realities in the life of Man.

It is worth repeating the words of the apostles of the Lord again:

Rev 1:1 ….from apostle John: The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified […the times and seasons..] it by his angel unto his servant John:

1Pe 1:11 – Apostle Peter confirms its all SIGNIFIED.

Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, […the times and seasons…] when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow.

The teacher, minister, elder and apostle to the Gentile Paul tells us first its all hidden language:

1Co 2:5 That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, [….men’s end times theology and eschatology ..] but in the power of God.

1Co 2:6 Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: [Gk Aorist tense: ‘being perfected’..] yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this worldthat come to nought:

1Co 2:7 But we speak the wisdom of God […times and seasons for His kingdom..] in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:

This study will be using the signified times and seasons in the book of Revelation written by John and comparing those with the other spiritual words of apostle Paul, Peter and the holy men of the Lord. Just as the apostles wrote, we are also writing this study on the foundation of the apostles so that no man appearing as an angel of light can continue to deceive us, to shake or trouble us in mind and spirit.

2Th 2:1 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,

2Th 2:2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. […not literal thousands of years away…but “at hand” to Him who understands in every generation.]

1Jo 2:26 These things have I written unto you concerning them that seduce you.

We are first imposed in this time, held under the dominion of the kings of the earth where outward eschatology is the primary focus of God’s time.

Eze 13:2  Son of man, prophesy against the prophets of Israel that prophesy, and say thou unto them that prophesy out of their own hearts, Hear ye the word of the Lord;

Eze 13:3 Thus saith the Lord God; Woe unto the foolish prophets, that follow their own spirit, and have seen nothing!

Being seduced of men, refreshment of the Holy Spirit is not yet come, (Acts 3:19) and our spiritual lives are far from beautiful in the sight of the Lord taking heed to vanities and many “secret arts”.  As prophesied through the Holy Spirit, many false prophets are preoccupied with these false doctrines of times and seasons of the Lord, dispensing false hopes to their followers and secretly hoping that their words would have effect, when the Lord’s Word does not say or even mean what they say.

Eze 13:6 (BBE) They have seen visions without substance and made use of secret arts, who say, The Lord has said; and the Lord has not sent them: hoping that the word would have effect.

Eze 13:7 (BBE) Have you not seen a vision without substance and have you not falsely made use of secret arts, when you say, The Lord has said; though I have said nothing?

In this time, we also are first seduced by many false prophets, detailing times of great Armageddon, millennial rule, outward wars and outward taking of dominion over others that keeps the spiritual sight of many off Christ, and causing nothing but terrors, confusions and fears in the heart of many.

Mat 24:3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?

Mat 24:4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.

Mat 24:5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; [= as Christians, angels of Light pointing to Christ as the Light…] and shall deceive many. […about the times of the end of this world (our carnal life) causing many to remain reserved in sin, (reserved unto condemnation, the resurrection of damnation) deceiving many of His second coming (time of salvation) deceiving many of the Sum of the teachings of Christ]

Being snared by this outward focus is all part of the process preparing us for the second coming of the Lord.

Luk 21:9  But when ye shall hear of wars and commotions, be not terrified: for these things must first come to passbut the end is not by and by.

When the Lord gives us the revelation, when we see it, the time of the end within us is nigh at hand.

Luk 21:31 So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand.

Time is fulfilled when the fullness of the kingdom of God is established in our hearts. This is a great secret in the Lord’s times and seasons.

Mar 1:15 And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.

Contrary to the voice of the serpent deceiving many to look outwardly to maintain his worldly kingdom, the Lord’s purpose from the beginning was to use the kingdom of men for us to have an experience of evil, to taste of death, a basis to discern good and evil, the knowledge of sin, and thereafter to establish His kingdom in true righteousness and holiness.

It was never for an establishment or ‘restoration’ of a carnal kingdom where men rule over men.  That is already the kingdom of men we are first held in by nature.

The kingdom of God the Lord is establishing is where “every man” will partake and be presented to the Father “without spot or blemish” (Eph 5:27) of sin.  No carnal kingdom will be restored at the Lord’s second coming, no matter how many prayers are offered up.

Act 1:6 When they, therefore, were come together, […after the Lord had risen from death, His second coming to them…] they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore AGAIN the kingdom to Israel?

Christ already gave a good witness before the governor of Judea, Pontius Pilate, this timeless confession:

Joh 18:35 Pilate answered, Am I a Jew? Thine own nation and the chief priests have delivered thee unto me: what hast thou done?

Joh 18:36 Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.

This question of restoring the kingdom to Israel according to the flesh reveals what was in the heart of the disciples at “this time”, even until this day. The kingdom and its dominion were still physical to them, as in the kingdom of this world they were accustomed to. That is all they were given to comprehend at that time.

Christ changes not, and He showed them that He was not interested at all to establish a physical kingdom during His time in the flesh.

Joh 6:15 When Jesus therefore perceived that they would come and take him by force, to make him a king, he departed again into a mountain himself alone.

Restoring rulership outwardly over others was the immature disciples’ primary concern at that time.  It was still not revealed nor understood that the Lord’s kingdom is far from what we thought it was.

Here is Christ’s answer to such unconverted minds:

Act 1:7 And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power

But the time does come where it will all be revealed, and we will know the times or the seasons the Father has put in His own power, His own Word.

The Father’s Time.

The Father’s own power is manifested in His times and seasons.  It is not in earthly linear time zones, but the spiritual realm that many learned disciples of this world are yet ignorant about. The times and seasons works through the power of the holy spirit which is to dwell in us.

Act 1:8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: [=the Spirit of Life] and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

Receiving power when the Holy Spirit of God comes upon us, is the receiving of the Spirit of the King, in His kingdom.

The consuming fire of God comes upon us, in a continual process of time to the end, as cloven fire to destroy/remove all the kingdom of the world within us that are made, so that the age lasting kingdom of our Lord be established.

Heb 12:26 Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven.

Heb 12:27 And this word, Yet once moresignifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, […all the kingdom of this world that is passing away…] that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.

Heb 12:28 Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, [=“But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you”let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:

The shaking of the earth is signified as the same fire that the Lord sends to every man within, each in his own order.

Luk 12:49 I am come to send fire on the earth; and what will I, if it be already kindled?

This earthquake or fire results in the receiving of the kingdom which cannot be moved that is spoken of in Hebrews and is the very same kingdom of our Lord of His Christ.

Rev 11:15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.

This deep inner process of the Kingdom of God being established within is written in greater signified detail in the book of Revelation foreshadowed in the book of Daniel. The times and seasons of this mighty works of God in our heavens are not to be taken literally nor in an outward earthly sense as many do.

We must be reminded once again that the Lord’s words are to be fulfilled in us (Col 1:25) not to be put in past outward ages, nor postponed to outward future times.

Eze 12:25 For I am the Lord: I will speak, and the word that I shall speak shall come to pass; it shall be no more prolonged: for in your days, O rebellious house, will I say the word, and will perform it, saith the Lord God.

The time at hand is for the kingdom of God to be established.

The book of Revelation of Jesus Christ by John, the others apostles, the Old Testament prophets like Daniel, are detailing the removal of the old kingdom through a fiery event to establish the new kingdom in all men, beginning at a few chosen in the house of God in every generation (1Pet 4:17)

A major stumbling block about the Father’s time many are yet ignorant about is this very Truth we are warned not to ignore:

Psa 90:4 For a thousand years in thy sight are but as yesterday when it is past, and as a watch in the night.

Peter who tells us we should gird our loins at the Revelation of Jesus Christ gives us this great key to understanding God’s time:

1Pe 1:13 Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;

2Pe 3:8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, […in the revelation of Jesus Christ...] that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years [with the Lord] as one day.

We will now take a closer look of some signified times in Scripture, and how these are fulfilled in not only our lives, but in others in the age to come.

The thousand year reign of death.

For us to comprehend the times and seasons of God’s kingdom, we must know where the old kingdom to be done away with is, and where the new kingdom of God is to be established.

It must first be revealed to us who the king of the old kingdom is, and the times and seasons of his ruling before a new king removes him and sits on His throne.

Before the second coming of the Lord unto salvation (Heb 9:28), all the apostles reminded us of our time in the kingdom of darkness, that is, in “times past of our life”.…

1Pe 4:3 For the time past of our life may suffice us to have wrought the will of the Gentiles, when we walked in lasciviousness, lusts, excess of wine, revellings, banquetings, and abominable idolatries:

Before being called out into His marvelous light, we were not His people, being under the reign of the king of the beast, in the kingdom of spiritual darkness.

Rom 9:25 As he saith also in Osee, I will call them my people, which were not my people; and her beloved, which was not beloved.

Rom 9:26 And it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said unto them, Ye are not my people; there shall they be called the children of the living God.

1Pe 2:9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:

1Pe 2:10 Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.

Being under the wisdom and faith of men of this world transformed as messengers of Christ is to be under the power of darkness, kingdom of darkness of the beast…which beast we are by nature. (Eccl 3:18)

Col 1:13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:

Rev 16:10 And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain,

But even before being under darkness brought by the Law, before any commandment came to Man, the carnal mind, spiritual death reigned in the first Adam for a time and season.

He who has been delivered power over the carnal mind, Satan, is given to reign over all men for a symbolic “thousand year” as signified by John. This living and active time of our walk is the same time period apostle Peter and Paul reveal the spirit of Satan being bound in the heart of Man, as synagogue of Satan, as a wife is bound to her husband, as we all are first bound to the Law of sin and death. (Rom 7:2)

Psa 25:14 The secret of the Lord is with them that fear him; and he will shew them his covenant.

Rev 20:2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,

Rev 20:3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.

BOUND – G1210

Pronunciation: deh’-o
Definition: A primary verb; to bind (in various applications literally or figuratively): – bind, be in bonds, knit, tie, wind.

See also G1163 G1189 .
KJV Usage: bind (37x), tie (4x), knit (1x), be in bonds (1x), wind (1x).
Occurs: 48

Rom 5:13 (For until the law sin was in the world: [=Bound in our hearts, “in our members” Rom 7:23 ] but sin [..like fruit of being deceived / under a strong delusion..] is not imputed WHEN there is no law.

Rom 5:14 Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, [= Satan is bound in the sinful body of flesh, body of sin/death…] even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam’s transgression, [=not sinned without the law, that is, sin reigned in the beasts in the sea and upon the earth for a signified thousand years…] who is the figure of him that was to come. [=…when that signified time, appointed time of the Father we live in that sin is fulfilled/finished..]

Rom 7:8 But sin, taking occasion by the commandment, wrought in me all manner of concupiscence. […and deception!]  For without the law […though Satan bound within ] sin was dead.

When there is no law, “without the law”, sin has no strength. Sin is dead.

1Co 15:56 The sting of death is sinand the strength of sin is the law.

“Sin was dead” does not mean we were righteous in the sight of God.  It means the Law did not yet reveal the exceedingly sinful nature of sin to us. The mystery of iniquity is at work during this time (2Th 2:7).

Rev 13:1 And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.

Rev 13:2 And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.

Rev 13:3 And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.

Rev 13:4 And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?

The beast we are to make war with is the same law in our members warring against the law of Christ.

Rom 7:23 But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.]

For how long (symbolically) does this law of sin have power over us and we cry to be delivered from this wretched state?

Rev 13:5 And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.

Rev 13:6 And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven. [=the elect overcomers]

Rev 13:7 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. [= for symbolic “forty two months”]

Rev 13:8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

Let us bear this in mind with hearing ears. We are being told who “the (spiritual) dead” in the book of Revelation are here in this verse.

Rev 13:9 If any man have an ear, let him hear.

Rom7:24 O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?

It is in this forty-two months, (3 years and 6 months) “a thousand years” signified that we are dead to Christ, not written in the book of life of the Lamb, we are FILLING up the lusts of our flesh, “fulfilling” the lusts of the mind against the righteousness of Christ, standing up against the Prince of princes, plainly speaking, sin having dominion over us.

Dan 8:23 And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors are come to the full, a king of fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences, shall stand up.

Dan 8:24 And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power: […all given from above, the dragon giving power to the beast in us..] and he shall destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper, and practise, and shall destroy the mighty and the holy people.

Dan 8:25 (Darby) And through his cunning […laws of death causing sin to abound] shall he cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he will magnify himself in his heart, and by prosperity will corrupt many; and he will stand up against the Prince of princes: but he shall be broken without hand.

This is the time we are serving the king of death, typified as king Of Babylon for a symbolic seventy years, same signification as the thousand years reign of death when we were all sold under sin (Rom 7:14) before the second appearing of the great Judge.

Jer 25:11 And this whole land shall be a desolation, and an astonishment; and these nations shall serve the king of Babylon seventy years.

Jer 25:12 And it shall come to pass, when seventy years are accomplished, that I will punish the king of Babylon, and that nation, saith the Lord, for their iniquity, and the land of the Chaldeans, and will make it perpetual desolations.

In New Testament application, this is each of us at appointed times and seasons:

Psa 25:14 The secret of the Lord is with them that fear him; and he will shew them his covenant.

1Ti 1:13 Who was before a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious: [=means causing damage, harm, hurtful to others…] but I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief.

Eph 2:1 And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;

Eph 2:2 Wherein in time past […bound to Satan..] ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:

Eph 2:3 Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.

This time period is the same signified time of our walk, “all the world”, “all flesh” under the dominion of the Law of sin and death for “a thousand years.”

Rom 3:19 Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.

Rom 3:20 Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.

Rom 6:14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.

The governors and tutors we are kept under are the guardians of the Law before this thousand years of death is expired.

Gal 3:23 But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up […and bound to the Law of death..] unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed.

Gal 3:24 Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.

Gal 4:2 But is under tutors and governors […for 42 months= a thousand years..] until the time appointed of the father.

Gal 4:3 Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world:

The works of the flesh during the symbolic forty-two months / thousand years.

The Apostle Peter wrote speaking of Paul’s epistles [2Pe 3:16], saying there are some things hard to understand in the Scriptures that many will twist to their own destruction.  The times and seasons of the Lord written using many different names and symbols are such hard things to understand when we depart from the simplicity that is Christ and His plan for salvation to every man.  A quick overlay of the plan using other more simpler words will help us to comprehend the sayings regarding signified times.

Joh 2:19  Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.

Joh 2:20  Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days?

Joh 2:21  But he spake of the temple of his body [which temple and body we are – 1Co 3:16]

As mentioned earlier, Satan being bound on the earth is not a positive thing as many have twisted Revelation 20 to say.  Having the spirit of death and carnality bound in us is not positive except that it is used to bring our true sinful nature to light.  This binding of Satan to us in the bottomless pit, which is the earth, is the same as the Lord putting the dragon, also known as Leviathan into the sea within every man.  Satan is bound there until the Lord looses him to bring the occasion for judgment.

Isa 27:1  In that day the LORD with his sore and great and strong sword shall punish leviathan the piercing serpent, even leviathan that crooked serpent; and he shall slay the dragon that is in the sea

The simplicity of Christ has God making all things new in a three-day process.  Like Christ and as Christ, it is only on the third day we are being perfected [Luk 13:32].  Holding fast principles of rightly dividing the Word, we also know one day is a thousand years meaning the 1,000 years reign of death and the following 1,000 year reign of righteousness is more plainly speaking of the second and third day of the Lord’s plan for every man.

Day 1:  We are in the sea, not yet called of God.  Death and sin still reigns in us even though the law [commands of Christ, the gospel] has not come.  An even simpler view of this is to see Day 1 as our time in Egypt or the World.

Day 2:  We are called onto the earth, given truth to hear the commands.  The transition from Day 1 to Day 2 is when we begin to hear the Law of Christ and begin to understand the commandment.  Satan is bound in the pit of our flesh [sea] we have no power yet given to overcome the wicked one or the sin that dwells in us.  We hear and preach the gospel from heaven but need to wait on the day of the Lord to come, the third day for Christ to bring the fire.  The man in us reigns with Christ for this day [1,000 years] but the rest of the dead within us, the 2/3rds will not arise or be awakened until Satan is loosed on the earth.

Rev 20:5  But the rest of the dead lived not again until [AFTER] the thousand years [Day 2] were finished. This is the first resurrection.

Day 2 is also our time in Babylon [orthodoxy being just the shadow].  Seventy years in Babylon is the same as 1,000 years wherein sin and death reigns. Day 2 is also our time of living out the resurrection of damnation, being a religious beast [Rev 13:11] hearing the Law/commands, cleaning up the outside of the cup yet we continue to deceive ourselves.

Rev 13:14  And [Your Beast] deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.

Day 2 is the shadow of the true resurrection of Christ that all men live out beginning with the Elect in this age.  We think we are alive yet continue to take pleasure in unrighteousness remaining spiritually dead in our sins.

1Ti 5:6  But she that liveth in pleasure is dead while she liveth.

When we hear the word but cannot do the word, we deceive ourselves.  Satan being kicked out of heaven by the truth, does not deceive us during this season, but we deceive ourselves thinking knowing the truth is all that matters.

Jas 1:22  But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

1Jn 1:8  If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

There are two kinds of deception, doctrine and the act or the doing.  When we hear the law of Christ with ears prepared to hear, Satan can no longer deceive us of the truth.  But we do indeed deceive ourselves as we pursue gain from our supposed godliness not yet having the power from upon high.

2Ti 3:12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.

2Ti 3:13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, [=DAY 2 upon the earth..] deceiving, and being deceived.

Our deception Day 2, the same being the 1,000 year reign of the flesh and death, is accomplished by the many false prophets that have gone into the world within and without ourselves.

2Jo 1:7 For many deceivers are entered into the world, [=transition from day 1 to day 2..] who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.

1Jo 3:7 Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.

The release of Satan at the end of Day 2, the 1,000 years is a blessing as it brings the occasion for the fire and coming of Christ to redeem us from our sins.

Day 3:  The day of the Lord comes and the wicked one is exposed by the light and fire falling from heaven.  We see the abomination of desolation and are hearts are turned back to the Lord and pursuing righteousness.  The old man and carnal mind is now being consumed daily in the fire [lake of fire].  We won’t realize we were deceived until we are first overcome by sin killed in Babylon [Egypt and Sodom] and then called up hither with the Lord.

Rev 11:11  And after three days and an half [the 1,000 years] the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them.

Rev 11:12  And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them

In Day 3, the fire of the lake of fire is revealing the truth and exposing the wicked man that had been ruling over all of our inward earth.

2Th 2:8  And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:

2Th 2:9  Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,

2Th 2:10  And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, [=Gospel of TRUTH preached but unrighteous act continues, secret, presumptions sins within the Cup..] that they might be saved.

With that reminder of the high-level plan expressed in the three days, let’s return our focus back to Day 2 which is the 1,000-year reign of flesh.

The preaching and our hearing of the age lasting gospel by the messengers of Christ -the angel – to “they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations” of the earth is a pivotal time and season when sin takes occasion to revive the old man of sin in “they that dwell upon the earth”, (Rev 11:9-10) that is, in our earthly members.

Rev 14:6 And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,

Sin is at work and takes occasion behind the spiritual words being preached.

To the inhabitants of “the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,” this age lasting gospel remains hidden to them during the signified thousand years, forty two months, three and a half years season.

The god of the kingdom of darkness blinds their minds, having been given power to have dominion over them for that same period of time the angels (New Man within) is preaching the testimony of Jesus Christ to them that dwell upon the earth.

It is “the letters” of the word being preached that the god of this world uses to blind the minds of the inhabitants of the earth. (2Cor 3:6)

2Co 4:3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: [= the spiritual dead upon the earth]

2Co 4:4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

The preaching of the gospel is the commandment coming in, giving power and making alive [see Being Raised With Christ Study] the old man of sin in our members.  The beasts “overcome [us] them and power is given this beast over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations within for forty and two months.”

Rev 13:5  And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.

This is our time of rebellion in the spiritual wilderness where our flesh is nourished of the face of the serpent, our fleshly father the devil (John 8:44) for “times, time and dividing of times”, that is to say, three and a half years following Christ after the flesh.

Dan 9:5  We have sinned, and have committed iniquity, and have done wickedly, and have rebelled, even by departing from thy precepts and from thy judgments: [=in the Law,,.not as sinners of the other Gentiles who have not been committed God’s precepts and Judgments – the Gospel..]

Dan 9:6 Neither have we hearkened unto thy servants the prophets, which spake in thy name to our kings, our princes, and our fathers, and to all the people of the land.

Heb 3:8 Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness:

Heb 3:12 Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, [...in the spiritual wilderness..] in departing from the living God. […from His commandments]

Rom 7:8 But sin, taking occasion by the commandment, wrought in me all manner of concupiscence. [=strong lust/desire.] For without the law sin was dead.

Rom 7:9 For I was alive without the law once: but when the commandment came, [=via the preaching of the gospel…] sin revived, and I died.

Rom 7:10 And the commandment, which was ordained to life, I found to be unto death.

The fulfillment of this Word in our flesh takes place for the length of seventy signified years [=1000 years reign of death] for our sins to be filled up, for the transgressions to cease growing. The diminishing of sin then begins from the day of the Lord. The new birth [being born again] then begins to usher in age lasting righteousness.

Dan 9:24 Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.

The entirety of the 1,000 year reign of death [“Day two”] is there to show us there is no good thing dwelling in us and we are indeed chief of sinners, an abomination, a wretched man who needs a physician.  It is our Romans 7 experience.

The innumerable works of the flesh manifests in the inhabitants of the earth, in a measure in each man, but power to overcome them has not yet been received from on high.

Rom 7:5 For when we were in the flesh, [=signified time period of 42 months, 3.5 years, 1000 years, 3.5 days…] the motions of sins, which were by the law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death.

There are not two gospels. There is only one gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Howbeit, sin taking occasion by the preaching of the gospel brings to light all manners of spiritual perversion and idolatries to the hearers in all nations of the earth, because the great dragon, called Satan and his angels sits in the temple of God [within our members] showing himself to be God at this time. (2Thess2:4)

Luk 8:17 (NKJV) For nothing is secret that will not be revealed, nor hidden that will not be known and come to light.

Rom 2:16 (NKJV) in the day when God will judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ, according to my gospel.

Through the power delivered unto the devil for a short time, the hearers of all kindreds, and tongues, and nations upon the earth are soon removed unto “another gospel”, which is not another, but a perversion of the Word.

Gal 1:6 I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:

Gal 1:7 Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.

Gal 1:8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.

Gal 1:9 As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.

The spiritual Word preached by the angel from heaven (from Scripture) is not understood by those upon the earth at this time, and the Wicked one comes to catch it away in those preached to.

Mat 13:19 When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, […preached by angel from heaven, that is, to our mind and hearts..] and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side.

To one ear, of the converted heart, the gospel is heard, understood and bears much fruit of the Spirit. To another, yet unconverted under the Law, the gospel not mixed with the faith of Jesus, brings forth briers and thorns, the works of the flesh for “seventy weeks”…“forty two months.”

Heb 4:2 For unto us was the gospel preached, [= inhabitants of heaven -Eph 2:6] as well as unto them: [=inhabitants of the earth – Rev 8:13] but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.

Having no faith equals having no power; and this is our position in Day 2 that is this 1,000 year reign of death.  We know truth but cannot do it and instead of the Word profiting us at this time we are overcome by the beast within [Rev 11:7, Rev 13:7) being dead wherein we were held in the bottomless pit [Rom 7:6].

1Pe 4:6 For this cause was the gospel preached also to them that are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit.

Without faith, we are double-minded and our prayers are not answered [Jam 1:7, Pro 1:28].  One must have faith and then the grace of God [Eph 2:9] which are the fiery trials of the lake of fire will work the work of salvation in us [our Day 3].

Mat 17:20  And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

The Word is then corrupted, revealing all manners of concupiscence (ungodly lusts) in our members. The angels of Satan, signified as the false prophet and prophetess are then gone out into all the world, the four corners of the earth to deceive, producing bad fruit.

2Pe 2:1 But there were false prophets also among the people, […. we must focus on within our life first, the primary emphasis of Scripture …] even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.

2Pe 2:2 And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.

It is during this time of our lives, outside the kingdom of God as Gentiles in the flesh, [ Eph 2v11-12] that we – our flesh- are given to trod without the court, speaking blasphemies against God as natural brute beasts we are, (2Pet 2:12, Eccl 3:18)  speaking great words of vanities.

We understand not what we say or are affirming, speaking evil of what we do not understand, doing the will of the Gentiles that know not God.(1Thess 4:5)

Rev 11:2 But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city [=Jerusalem] shall they tread under foot forty and two months.

Gal 5:18 But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law. [the law of sin and death]

Gal 5:19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,

Gal 5:20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,

Gal 5:21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things [=doing the will of the uncircumcised in the heart Gentiles..] shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

The will of the Gentiles manifests in us during this time, as we are caused to sacrifice to devils, thinking we are converted Jews but spiritually still of the synagogue of Satan.

1Pe 4:3 For the time past of our life may suffice us to have wrought the will of the Gentiles, [=shall they tread under foot forty and two months] when we walked in lasciviousness, lusts, excess of wine, revellings, banquetings, and abominable idolatries:

1Co 10:20 But I say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God: and I would not that ye should have fellowship with devils.

This is a time (though we knew it not) we were killing the Lord’s prophets preaching the gospel to us upon the earth performing many abominable acts in the spirit.  We receive the knowledge of the Truth through the gospel, but being spiritually dead cannot comprehend it. This lack of comprehension causes us to trod on the Truth unawares,

Heb 10:26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,..…

….Heb 10:29 Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, [=the Truth] and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?

Counting the word of God unholy before men, slaying the Son of God within us is what is meant by trodding over the holy city for this time and season. The suffering of those that will not bow down to the idol is always “without the gate”.

Heb 13:12 (NKJV) Therefore Jesus also, that He might sanctify the people with His own blood, suffered outside the gate.

Heb 13:13 (NKJV) Therefore let us go forth to Him, outside the camp, bearing His reproach.

The great dragon continues “for forty two months” empowering our flesh to blaspheme against the Truth that will later judge us.  This is all a living and active event being fulfilled in our lives for a season.

Rev 13:15 And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.

Like Saul of Tarsus, we were breathing slaughter against those disciples of the Lord that believe the Truth, and would not bow down to false doctrines. We, in our hearts [in our earth], magnify ourselves against God in ignorance, prospering in sin and accomplishing our indignation against the Truth and those that dwell therein, till we have our ‘road to Damascus’ moment!

Dan 11:36 And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvellous things against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done.

Dan 11:37 Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all.

Dan 11:38 But in his estate shall he honour the God of forces: and a god [..another Jesus..] whom his fathers knew not shall he honour with gold, and silver, and with precious stones, and pleasant things.

Dan 11:39 Thus shall he do in the most strong holds [= strong holds of our mind and hearts..] with a strange god, whom he shall acknowledge and increase with glory: and he shall cause them to rule over many, and shall divide the land for gain [= Spiritual Babylon, making merchandise]

Act 8:1 And Saul was consenting unto his death. And at that time […for “42 months” for Saul..-] there was a great persecution against the church which was at Jerusalem; and they were all scattered abroad throughout the regions of Judaea and Samaria, except the apostles.

Act 8:2 And devout men carried Stephen to his burial, and made great lamentation over him.

Act 8:3 As for Saul, he made havock of the church, entering into every house, and haling men and women committed them to prison.

Those the beast overcomes, still held in death that Satan has power over for “42 months, a thousand years” are captured to do His will even after the saints [‘his servants the prophets”] witness to them.

Dan 9:9 To the Lord our God belong mercies and forgivenesses, though we have rebelled against him;

Dan 9:10 Neither have we obeyed the voice of the Lord our God, to walk in his laws, which he set before us by his servants the prophets.

2Ti 2:24 And the servant of the Lord [the prophets] must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient,

2Ti 2:25 In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; […as angels from heaven preaching to them for seventy weeks/ forty two months , as Christ in the days of His flesh” preaching “REPENT, for the kingdom of God is at hand”...] if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; […God will give them repentance, but only after a certain time are first fulfilled…]

2Ti 2:26 And that they may recover themselves out of the   snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.

Again, this is all primarily to be understood inwardly.  Our flesh dominating and killing our desire to do the righteousness of Christ, as sin reigns in the flesh, body of death to do the will of the dragon is for a season.

Act 9:1 And Saul, yet […His time of reformation was yet to be fulfilled..]  breathing out threatenings and slaughter against the disciples of the Lord, went unto the high priest,

Rev 11:7 And when they shall have finished their testimony, […as Stephen did..] the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.

This time is the peak of our powers following Christ after the flesh, as we trod upon the Truth by our lies and deceptions of our righteousness which is all just self-righteousness, yet we know it not in our deception.   We think we serve God, but we are serving sin and the lusts of our flesh. An example in understanding these times and seasons is the life of Apostle Paul:

Gal 1:13 For ye have heard of my conversation in time past in the Jews’ religion, how that beyond measure I persecuted the church of God, and wasted it:[=for a signified 42 months/1000 years, 3.5 years.]

When the Lord comes to save us, He opens our eyes to our self deception and serving of self and the blindness we had in our proud fleshly heart.

This symbolic time and season is the time of great tribulation to the old man to the end that the new man being manifested in us.  This great trial came upon the disciples of the Lord, the Devil and his angels, the false prophets seeking to kill the saints of the most High.

Part 4  – How Long O Lord Will We Remain in Torment?

We begin by finishing the section detailing the 42 month/1.000 year signified reign of sin and death [flesh] on the earth.  This is our Day 2 experience when we hear the Law but have no power to overcome as we cannot perform that which we desire to do in the inward man.

Rom 7:22  For I delight in the law of God after the inward man:

Rom 7:23  But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.

It is good to remind ourselves that the Lord’s words, even the reference to numbers are all spirit [Joh 6:63] and cannot be taken literally but as with all Scriptures are spiritually discerned [1Co 2:13].  Our flesh and the flesh of many men have desired to use literal mathematics to take the days and counts of days in Scriptures [principally Daniel and Revelation] to predict all kinds of things such as the Rapture, Christ returning to rule physical earth and the end of the world.  Yet those doctrines are not revealed in the Scriptures and Christ is not found in what Scriptures do not reveal.  We are warned to stay away and believe not.

Mat 24:26  Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.

The Lord nor the Apostles used literal mathematics to answer or predict when future events would come.  Their language on times and seasons is spoken about in terms of the function going on within the kingdom rather than literal time. We need to put aside the temptation to revert to literal math [the letter] to understand the mysteries of the inward processes being revealed to us.

This being said, there spiritual significance of numbers demonstrates a pattern of consistency was we look at the number referenced in the Scriptures.  For example, 42 months is 6 x 7, which can be viewed as the completion of our days in the flesh (7 completion x 6 days in the flesh).  This corresponds well to 1,000 which is the result of 10 to the third power. Ten representing completeness of the flesh and three the process of our completion 10 x 10 x 10 = 1,000 speaks of the same time as 42 months when looked at this way.

We know our complete walk with Christ is represented by seven years. Our witness is divided into two main parts, knowing him in the flesh and then in the Spirit.  The 3.5 years speaks to the first half of our witness, the reign of death, the 1,000 years of the flesh which is the same as 42 months (6×7). So there is linkage in the spirit based on the experiences the Lord is bringing to all men but these not computed literal using the science of mathematics.  As we move into the transition times in this series between the key days [Day 2 and Day 3], we will see some additional time references of little seasons as we are moved onward to maturity that as we endure leads to the goal of our sanctification [1Th 4:3] and a clean sanctuary in which the Lord dwells.

Dan 8:14  And he said unto me, Unto two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed.

Getting to the goal is a process of many tribulations that begins in our 1,000-year reign of death.  This symbolic time/season where the sin/death reigns on the earth, leads to the time of great tribulation to the old man which will begins to decrease the man of sin and increase the new man. This great trial comes upon the disciples of the Lord as the Devil and his angels, seek to kill the saints of the most High.

To the one, like Stephen, as “the two witnesses”, the length of time of this great tribulation trial that came upon them are all symbolically the same time of suffering.  Spoke of as  “42 months”, “1,000 years” and even as “10 days, all speaking of when the saints are slaughtered, the other edge (time) of the same sword when sin and death reigns within us.

Rev 2:10 Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: [=killed all day, slaughter etc..] be thou faithful unto death [of the old man], and I will give thee a crown of life.

Rev 2:13 I know thy works, and where thou dwellest, even where Satan’s seat is: and thou holdest fast my name, and hast not denied my faith, even in those [ten] days wherein Antipas was my faithful martyr, who was slain among you, where Satan dwelleth.

The nourishing of that woman Jezebel [Spiritual Babylon] in our flesh, is during our wilderness experience as we “enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season” (Heb 11:25) …for a signified “thousand two hundred and threescore days”, which is “forty two months”, which is also “three and half years”.

Rev 12:6 And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days. [=forty two months]

Rev 12:14 And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, [=forty two months] from the face of the serpent.

The reign of death in us is this time when we are not conscious of Satan’s deceptions, yet we are deceived and led astray by feeding on our own lusts for gain and hence we merchandise the things of God not even aware we are doing it.  At this time, we don’t know it yet, but Babylon within us is fallen and the spiritually dead nations within us have been fornicating with the harlot and getting rich by our gain seeking to satisfy our lusts.

Rev 18:3  For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies.

Our coming out of deceptions such as the outward Millennium Reign and greater rewards for the Elect are a great example of our coming out of the deception of Babylon having first been deceived and living richly being puffed up with our knowledge and trading in God’s treasures. During this season, we are storing up wrath for the day of wrath [Rom 2:5] that is to be revealed in the third day when we will be perfected in the fire.  Mercifully, this time and reign of death and carnality comes to an end.  The Lord moves all men onto maturity and transitions us into Day 3 which is the day of the Lord where Christ will reign on both the heaven and the earth within us, putting all enemies under His feet.

Jer 23:5  Behold, the days come [1,000 year reign of righteousness, Day 3], saith the LORD, that I will raise unto David a righteous Branch, and a King shall reign and prosper, and shall execute judgment and justice in the earth.

Rev 5:10  And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.

The time comes when the two witnesses finish their testimony to the inhabitants of the earth. The thousand years reign of death is fulfilled/expired and the Lord moves us along in His plan.

 “How long O Lord?”

What is in the heart of the saints of the most High is to reign as kings with Christ in His kingdom, to fulfil the word of God [Col 1:25].  It is ordained that God’s kingdom to be established in them, to be redeemed from the earth through the destruction of the kingdom of the beast within.

Rev 17:17 For God hath put in their hearts to fulfil his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled.

Our cry to the Father as [we the prophets] are being slaughtered because of the earnest of the Spirit of Christ in us [the refined “the third part” that is converted in our hearts] being persecuted by the great whore, is simply “how long O Lord” to take vengeance upon those that ddestroythe earth, [the rest of the dead in our lives] and “how long O Lord” before your kingdom comes and is fully established in our new earth?  Like us today, those the Lord is dragging and clothing want to know the answer which comes in spiritual terms of God’s plan not in literal days and times.

Dan 12:6 And one said to the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, How long shall it be to the end of these wonders?

Dan 12:7 And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and an half; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished.

The saints ask how long because we look for the hastening of the Lord’s kingdom to come, through judgment of the great harlot who still sits on our beast, the dark kingdom of this world to be dethroned in our hearts.  We look forward to when “ all these things shall be finished.”

What things to be finished again?

It is simply the end of the dominion, kingdom of the beast in our lives.  The end of “the man of sin” ..’in our members” that makes desolation to our desire to “perform good”.

Mar 13:14 But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that readeth understand,) then let them that be in Judaea flee to the mountains:

Rom 7:17 Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me. [=THE ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION standing in the holy place of our hearts- THIS IS THE MAN OF SIN.]

Rom 7:18 For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not.

It is this man of sin in our members that is “the dead” spoken throughout the book of Revelation.  It is by this spiritually dead man (our old man) that the Truth is cast down in us, our daily sacrifice– Jesus Christ is trampled upon- [1Cor 5:7] and the sanctuary of God is left defiled as prophesied by the prophet Daniel:

Dan 8:11 Yea, he [man of sin/beast] magnified himself even to the prince of the host, and by him the daily sacrifice was taken away, and the place of his sanctuary was cast down.

Dan 8:12 And an host was given him against the daily sacrifice by reason of transgression, and it cast down the truth to the ground; and it practised, and prospered.

Yes…we all are given to prosper in our flesh for a season according to the course of this world, as we cast down the truth and kill the Lord’s servants.   Our new man cries out to the Lord to come save us from our inward enemies.

Rev 6:9 And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:

Rev 6:10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?

It is only through great tribulation [Act 14:22] we are being saved and can enter into Christ [Rev 15:8].  This great tribulation is necessary to destroy the man of sin in the lake of fire experience in every man’s day of the Lord. The new man in us all will be delivered and come out, being the result of this great tribulation.

Dan 12:1 And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: [=Michael the archangel, typifying Christ Jesus, whose voice we hear- Jude 1:9 / 1Thes 4:16 ] and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: [=the time of the great tribulation of the flesh/old man is about to begin, “the time of the dead, that they be judged”...]  and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.

Before that comes to pass, before every one is delivered, before salvation comes even to the Jews first and then Gentiles,  “the times of the Gentiles within” [the spiritually dead within us] must first be fulfilled in us, which takes “forty two months” while we walk after the flesh, being under the Law.

Luk 21:24 And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, [=Rom8:36] and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled. […Rev 11:2..” for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.”.]

Rom 8:36 As it is written, For thy sake [=the witness/testimony of Christ] we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.

That woman Jezebel within us is first given time to repent of herself as “the two witness”, “ the holy apostles and prophets”, “the servants of the Lord” testify against her evil deeds. We come to see during that “forty two months” of the testimony of Jesus Christ, it is not in her power (in us) to repent.

It has to be given by the goodness of the Lord. (Rom 4:2)

Rev 2:21 And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not.

Rev 16:10 And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain,

Rev 16:11 And blasphemed the God of heaven [..= as Saul of Tarsus -1 Tim 1:13 Who was before a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious:...] because of their pains and their sores, and repented not of their deeds.

This is the time we also are in emotional pain of sins, seeing the wretchedness within us, seeing the darkness of evil, sin in our members, but repentance is hid from us.

Rom 7:18 For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: […=”and his kingdom was full of darkness”…] for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good […and repent from the evil ..] I find not.

Rom 7:19 For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do.

As the angel is preaching the gospel from heaven, ( the two witnesses) our hearts remains hardened in this time and season.  There is no rain to bring forth fruit.

Rev 11:6 These [two witnesses] have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: [= verse 3 “a thousand two hundred and threescore days (1,260, which is forty two months] and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all [seven] plagues, as often as they will.

The judgment and vengeance of the Lord upon those that dwell on the earth, [the spiritually dead old man within us, the great whore Babylon] those that kills “the two witnesses” takes place only AFTER the testimony of the two witnesses are finished, only after their flesh of Christ are spiritually killed, “the daily sacrifice” that is, our Lord is crucified in that great city and taken away.

Dan 12:11 And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, [=Christ crucified] and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.

The gospel of the kingdom has to be preached by the angels / servants the prophets for a signified “a thousand years..forty two months…seventy weeks… a thousand two hundred and threescore days (1,260)…three and a half years, them all being our symbolic lifetime in the flesh, before the end of the body of death via the judgment of our flesh.

Here Daniel makes mention of a different time 1,290 days that is a little season, one more month [a signified time] more than the 1,260 days we have been looking at as the first half of our witness for Christ.   We are going to address the “little seasons” which are the preparation and transition times we endure in moving from our Day 2 experience into Day 3.  This is coming in the ongoing Times study.  There is a time or mourning the death of our old man and a time of waiting upon the Lord for power on high in His plan as we move onward into the day of the Lord.

No man is saved or delivered from the abomination of desolation (the old man) UNTIL the gospel is first preached to our inward world, in our life.

Mat 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; […for the time period above…(Rev 11:3)..]  and then shall the end come.

Mat 24:15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, [Rom 7:13] spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)

It is the symbolic “two witness”, the spirit of Christ in us that brings edification, exaltation and comfort to men within (1Cor 14:3) and to others without. We prophesy in that great city – REIGNING in righteousness with Christ for the same “time, times and half a time” mentioned so far.  This is the fire from heaven in the mouth of the two witness.

Rev 11:3 And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.

Rev 11:4 These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.

Rev 11:5 And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth,  [= the Word of God – Jer 5:14, Jer 23:29) and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed.

The end of this period is the rising up of the beast within that kills Christ and brings the occasion the Lord was always sought to come with vengeance and raise up His Temple, Christ in us with fire and power.

Rev 11:7  And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.

The Lord works all things for the greater good, including our being dead and overcome in sin.  This death is the prerequisite for the second coming of Christ [Heb 9:27-9:28].  This leads us into Day 3, the day of the Lord as we make the transition from knowing Christ in the flesh to knowing Him in power and might.

Rev 11:11  And after three days and an half the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them.

Rev 11:12  And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.

Part 5 begins below

The time of the dead to be judged in the flesh.

After the Lord is crucified and we with Him (Gal 2:20- a living and active process), we must wait a little season for the Lord to come a second time, (fifty days-Pentecost) to raise us to Life, to commit to us the power of judgment.

Rev 11:8 And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.

Luk 24:49 And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.

For our flesh to be judged and go into perdition, the power of God must first be given to “our inner man”, [Eph 3:16]. This same “inward man” [Rom 7:22] must be first raised to Life and manifest in us.

Act 1:8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

Eze 36:27 And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.

After the holy spirit is come, after the thousand years reign of the old man, the new man’s habitation begins.  The end of the thousand year reign of the beast is the time of the dead [the Gentiles] to be judged within us, the destruction of the flesh begins thereafter.  It is “a time of trouble”… a time of “great tribulation” such as not been since the foundation of the world, that is, the birth of our flesh.

Dan 12:1 And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.

Rev 11:18 And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.

The judgment of the Lord is always ready, not just future or past.  Peter has spoken of this event before, but few comprehended he was speaking of the events of Scripture coming to pass in his life.

Act 10:34 Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons:……

Act 10:42 And he commanded us to preach unto the people, [=the angels that fly in the midst of heaven -Rev 14:6..] and to testify that it is he which was ordained of God to be the Judge of quick and dead.

Who are those “quick” and “dead” the scripture speaks of judging? Paul reveals in a few words.

2Co 5:14 For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead:

2Co 5:15 And that he died for all, that they which live [=the quick] should not henceforth live unto themselves , but unto him which died for them, and rose again. [=now become part of the armies of Christ, the elect overcomers]

Christ through his sinful flesh, and being first to be raised into a spiritual body, is the first begotten of the dead.

Rev 1:5 And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead.

1Th 3:8 For now we live, if ye stand fast in the Lord.

Now, when and where do all these events take place…?

2Ti 4:1 I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead […when? — >] at his appearing […where? —>] and his kingdom;

1Pe 4:6 For this cause was the gospel preached also to them that are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit.

The judgment is and will be taking place “in the flesh”… so we can live in the Spirit. The same apply for all men in all the three harvest.

When Scripture talks about judgment “in the flesh”, it is in the terrestrial body of the old man, a carnal spirit in an unclean spiritual body, that Christ comes to judge and put away. It is this carnal spirit that is also part of flesh that the people of God are to separate from lest we be swallowed of the earth in the gainsaying of Korah.

2Co 5:15 And that he died for all, that they which live [=the quick] should not henceforth live unto themselves , but unto him which died for them, and rose again. [=now become part of the armies of Christ, the elect overcomers]

Num 16:21 Separate yourselves from among this congregation, that I may consume them in a moment.

Num 16:22 And they fell upon their faces, and said, O God, the God of the spirits of all flesh, shall one man sin, and wilt thou be wroth with all the congregation?

The Lord’s judgment does not carry a greater weight whether it is done in the physical body, or for many [third harvest – all mankind] judgment commencing after their physical death. It has not been revealed nor comprehended by many the depth of the Lord’s words about “flesh”.

Joh 6:63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

We do not get a greater price or a better reward because we are now being judged in this age in a physical body. It is unclean spirits that are being judged throughout the ages “In the flesh” now of God’s elect, “in the flesh” for those judged in times past as in the days of the apostles Paul, Peter, et al and many sinners will be judged in the age to come after being raised to terrestrial glory [having the carnal body/mind of the old man – 1Cor 15:40-42].

It is a false doctrine that God shows partiality of rewards for those being judged in the physical body now.  God is no respecter of the sinful body of death, which we all are put into before the Lord remakes us all.

Jer 18:4 And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter: so he made it again another vessel, as seemed good to the potter to make it.

Joh 3:6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

This is what John is also writing to us in signified letters. Keeping the word of the prophecy of this book, John is speaking the same things as written in the gospels:

Rev 14:6 And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, [=he commanded us to preach unto the people,”…] having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, [=The spiritual dead within]

Rev 14:7 Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: [1Pe 4:17 at the house of God] and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.

Again, when we read preaching the gospel in the earth, we are talking our spiritual earth…in our life.

Mat 10:5 These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not

Mat 10:6 But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

The judgment of the dead is brought on by the preaching of the gospel, the doctrine and commandments of Jesus Christ.

Rev 20:1 And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.

A little season?

Rev 20:7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, [=the Law enters through the false prophets that sin may abound in the bottomless pit, our hearts, the deep- Rom 10:7]  Rev 20:8 And shall go out […as an angel of light seeking whom to devour…] to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.

All the sins in the world, our lust of the flesh, our lust of the eyes, and our pride of life [1Jo 2:16] are gathered to battle against Christ during this little season.  If we say we have not gathered to war against righteousness, we are deceiving ourselves. We are yet are at war against the Truth, we are still on the wrong side of God.

This little season is one and the same “short time” we are tossed to and fro by the lies of the devil, when he is “loosed for a little season” to wage war against them with all his angels/messengers he has gathered up.

Eph 4:14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;

This is again our lifetime walking in the flesh and after the flesh, warring against God, till our fleshly indignation is ended.

Dan 11:36 And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvellous things against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done.

This is the same signified “short time” the spirit of the world inhabits us, as our flesh bring forth fruits unto death overcoming the saints. This is all a war in our minds and hearts, a war of the old man of sin against the new man being created in the express image of the Father.

Rev 12:12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.

Rev 12:17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

Mat 24:6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. [we are still in this “little season”.]

For what purpose is Satan being loosed out of his prison within us, as we keep the saying of the prophecy of this book? [Rev 1:3, Rev 22:9]

The prison Satan is bound, as discussed earlier, is simply the body of this death.  Our body of death is also known as the bottomless pit, and the deep or the sea within us; where the man of sin dwells. The king of lies is also the father of all lies, who is the devil that dwells there with our man of sin.

Rev 9:11 And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon.

As a wife is bound to her husband, so are we also bound to the law of sin and death [Rom 7:1-3] which is in our members. The loosing of Satan out of his prison is to bring an end to the ministration, dominion and reign of death [2Cor 3:7-11] within every man. The wicked one is also known as Leviathan and it is the same day, that being “that day”, in which the dragon is slain in the lake of fire.

Isa 27:1 In that day the LORD with his sore and great and strong sword shall punish leviathan the piercing serpent, even leviathan that crooked serpent; and he shall slay the dragon that is in the sea.

The carnal commandments and ordinances [Heb 7:16/Heb 9:10], its times and seasons are imposed upon us through the carnal mind, until the time of reformation which is the coming of the Lord with fire. The end of the thousand years reign of death is the beginning of this time of reformation, the time of refreshing of the Lord which is the destruction of death within us in the lake of fire.  Our beast, false prophet and father the devil, collectively the wicked within us will all be consumed in that appointed time for every man.

2Th 2:6 (MKJV) And now you know what holds back, for him to be revealed in his own time.

2Th 2:7 For the mystery of lawlessness is already working, only he is now holding back until it comes out of the midst.

2Th 2:8 And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the breath of His mouth and shall destroy with the brightness of His coming,

The end outcome is to have “death no more”, and to usher in a new kingdom where righteousness dwells. This loosing of Satan after having first been bound, is the occasion needed to gather “all flesh” for its eventual destruction and purification in the great day of the Lord.

It is a living and active event to the elect of God throughout the ages.

This is the beginning of the day of the Lord, at His second coming without sin. Blessed are we when we endure to that day, signified by the prophet Daniel:

Dan 12:11 And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.

Then a little season of waiting in one accord for the Lord to come in the Spirit…some extra fifty days of tarrying to the day of Pentecost for the Truth to be revealed. The seven seals sealing the “little book” begin to open for us to comprehend the Truth.

Dan 12:12 Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days.

Dan 12:13 But go thou thy way till the end be: for thou shalt rest, and stand in thy lot at the end of the days.

We need to resist the temptation to use physical mathematics here.  The end of the flesh of Christ, “end of the days” being crucified, the end of His ministry in the flesh [3.5 years] is signified “a thousand two hundred and ninety days, and the waiting period of His second coming for fifty days, together are simply signified as “the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days.”

All things are said and spoken in parables and similitudes [Hos 12:10, Mat 13:9] to confound the wisdom of the wise and hide the truths from all but those given spiritual ears and eyes.  The days in Daniel are not literal days we calculate by man’s timelines.

As the seven spirits of God equals the one spirit of God, these are beyond man’s wisdom. These times are not comprehended by gazing at the face of the sky, or pulling out an Hebrew, Jewish or a Gregorian calendar!

Rev 4:5 And out of the throne proceeded lightnings and thunderings and voices: and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God.

Eph 4:4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;

These are spiritual times and seasons of waiting upon the Lord being spoken about.

1Co 1:7 So that ye come behind in no gift; waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ: […”blessed is he that waits to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days”.]

The disciples of the Lord were blessed to wait to this time, even as we continue to wait for the Holy Spirit of promise of the Father.

Act 1:4 And, being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, [….signified “the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days”…]  which, saith he, ye have heard of me.

Waiting for the promise of the Father is to be waiting (we continue waiting patiently) for the fiery doctrine to be revealed in the “last times”, after been hidden for “forty-two months…thousand years…time, times and half a time” etc. to our flesh.

Rom 6:17 But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you. […the fiery Law of God, the doctrine of Christ in His people, which is signified as (the lake of) fire.]

Deu 33:2 And he said, The Lord came from Sinai, [Heb 12:22-29] and rose up from Seir unto them; he shined forth from mount Paran, and he came with ten thousands of saints: from his right hand went a fiery law for them.

Satan continues to be loosed as the time is being fulfilled in us for its destruction.

Rev 11:3 And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.

Rev 11:7 And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit [=And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison…] shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.

Christ in the days of His flesh, as type and shadow, gave up the ghost after three and a half years of ministry.  At that very time, none of those disciples with Him were converted in heart, and were still spiritually dead having no comprehension of Christ.

Joh 17:4 I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do. [= testify of the Father]

Christ glorified the Father on the earth in the days of His flesh (in a parable/ figure) by doing His works, testifying of Him. At the end of that time, (the signified thousand years under the reign of the Law, the kings of the earth) the beast ascended out of the bottomless pit- Satan and his angels- to put His flesh to death.

Mat 26:57 And they that had laid hold on Jesus led him away to Caiaphas the high priest, where the scribes and the elders were assembled….

Mat 26:59 Now the chief priests, and elders, and all the council, sought false witness against Jesus, to put him to death;

Joh 19:30 When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.

1Th 2:14 For ye, brethren, became followers of the churches of God which in Judaea are in Christ Jesus: for ye also have suffered like things of your own countrymen, even as they have of the Jews:

1Th 2:15 Who both killed the Lord Jesus, and their own prophets, and have persecuted us; […after testifying of Jesus Christ...] and they please not God, and are contrary to all men:

It is the little season after this, not very long, that judgment of those that killed the two witnesses, those that denied and betrayed him comes upon them.  This is the vengeance of the Lord on all the inhabitants of the earth.

This begins shortly after the Lord rises from the grave in power and glory. Then our dead body – old man- is RAISED (an is, was and will be process) with power also after the thousand years are fulfilled. This is spiritually one and the same time as “three and half days” after being cast out of the synagogue of Israel, killed by those elders of Israel, the Pharisees and Sadducees that falsely think they are doing God a service.

Joh 16:2 They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service.

Joh 16:3 And these things will they do unto you, because they have not known the Father, nor me.

Gal 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: [….in spiritual Sodom and Egypt..] nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

Our former self and families, the inhabitants of the earth, will see our old dead self and will not suffer us to walk with them any longer. This is the beginning of a great blessing as we are being resurrected from the grave, “com[ing] up hither” from the dead church that we once thought was alive in the Spirit [Gal 4:17].

Rev 11:8 And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations [=of spiritual Sodom and Egypt, where all the Lord’s servants are killed...] shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves.

Rev 3:1 And unto the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead. [=they dwell in the grave, and suffer you not to be part of their Spiritually dead church.]

Luk 6:22 Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, [=shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves…] and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man’s sake.

The second coming of the Lord is a terrible time to our flesh.

Rev 11:11 And after three days and an half [after the “little season”] the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them [=those yet walking after the flesh hates your Truth, the doctrine of Christ and being very fearful eagerly cast you away from their company ..] which saw them.

This is the time of Pentecost when we begin to be raised to the third heaven, and great power is given to our New Man to judge the rest of the dead.

Rev 1:17 And when I saw him, [=…with the spirit of Life..] I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last:

Rom 8:10 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead [=I fell at his feet as dead.] because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.

Destruction of the sinful kingdom – the second coming of Christ.

The dead bodies of “the two witnesses” in us are “risen with glory, power, incorruption -1Cor 15:42-44 [the down payment of the Spirit of Jesus Christ in the elects now] to judge the rest of the dead, to follow our Head out of the grave.

Jesus Christ is the first to be raised to spiritual life as an example for us, and the rest of His body, (which will be all men at the consummation of all time-Eph 3:6) are “the rest of the dead”, having an inward fulfilment of being the rest of the dead works in us that must die, and an outward meaning or application being our unconverted neighbour in Adam that will die the death in the age to come.

The power coming upon those the Lord first chooses [the second harvest in Adam] is to raise them to the life of Jesus, signified as to “the first resurrection”.

Act 1:7 And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power.

Act 1:8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

Act 2:1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, [= thousand years expired, Christ the first fruit risen from the dead and after “little season” of fifty days...] they were all with one accord in one place.

Act 2:2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.

Act 2:3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.

Judgment is committed to the risen saints “at the fullness of time”, when this power, the Holy Spirit of God “like as of fire” comes upon them to begin that age lasting purpose of the Father [covered at the beginning of this study] – the gathering of each man in Christ.

Eph 1:10 That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him:

PART 6 STARTS HERE

This is the beginning of the day of the Lord, the day of Christ.

The whole world has invented doctrines to trouble and frighten many about outward end times, “last times” and ungodly endings. This is not so with the true apostles of our Lord.

The true gospel is the bringing in of a better hope for all men, beginning at a few. It is not to dispense ungodly fear in the heart of men in the name of the Lord, but the coming of the Comforter of all.

The appearing of Jesus Christ is to destroy / mortify all the earthly passions and strongholds contrary to God, to gather out of His kingdom all things that offends and do iniquity (Matt 13:41) within us, and for RIGHTEOUSNESS to reign in our present life and the age to come.

Rev 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; […have gone through the whole process, kept the testimony of Christ and become an elect overcomer..] and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

The rest of the dead, our ungodly passions and anti-Christ behaviours, will not live unto God, in the Spirit of holiness and righteousness until “the spirit of life” enters into them, after the signified time of a thousand years under the Law of death.

This is a continual process in our lives to redeem us from the sinful kingdom, until sin/death is no more.

Amo 9:8 Behold, the eyes of the Lord God are upon the sinful kingdom, and I will destroy it from off the face of the earth; saving that I will not utterly destroy the house of Jacob, [=the Israel of God – Gal 6:16] saith the Lord.

The down payment of the Spirit of Christ within us, having risen from the dead (the first begotten of the dead) is the one to reign over the nations of the Gentiles (the dead) in us. In no other man can we put our trust. Only the Spirit of Christ will reign over all men.

Rom 15:12 And again, Esaias saith, There shall be a root of Jesse, and he that shall riseto reign over the Gentiles; in him shall the Gentiles trust.

Isa 11:10 (KJV)  And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, which shall stand for an ensign (symbol) of the people; to it shall the Gentiles seek: and his rest shall be glorious.

We are not to continue looking at outward times and season as in our former ignorance but hastening to “the time of the dead” within us to be judged.

1Co 5:12 For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them [spiritually dead] that are within?

1Co 5:13 But them that are without God judgeth. […in their due time will go through the same time and seasons.] Therefore put away from among [=WITHIN] yourselves that wicked person.

For emphasis again, judgment only starts AFTER the earnest of the Spirit is given, to bring us completely out of the dominion of the Law of sin and death. Until that time… true and righteous judgment is not given to us.

Joh 7:24 Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.

1Co 4:5 Therefore judge nothing before the time, [….before the thousand years expires...] until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God.

Rev 16:7 And I heard another out of the altar say, Even so, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are thy judgments.

Putting away the wicked, [signified as Satan, the beast and the false prophet in apostle John’s book of revelation] is a living and active event of judgment that is not to be prolonged, but the time is at hand.  It is this second APPEARING of our Lord within our hearts that all the apostles are inspired of the Holy Spirit to write of in the Gospel and the epistles.

Our old deceived world we are coming out of has blinded many pointing at linear times, not spiritual times and seasons, prophesying of times far off, prolonged days [Ezk 12:21-28] while the devil continues to deceive the whole world for a signified “short time”, that is to say, our lifetime as a vapour walking after the flesh.

Heb 9:26 For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: [….this is beginning of the forty two months, our first spiritual birth in the flesh. It is the beginning/ foundation of the thousand year reign of death that has spiritual dominion over us in the sinful kingdom of darkness …] but NOW once in the end of the world (age) [= forty two months/ thousand year fulfilled/expired ] hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.

Heb 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, [=overcome of the beast, all men are spiritually dead in Adam being first born in the flesh….] but after this the judgment:

Heb 9:28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; [=became flesh with all the sins of the whole world in his body to be crucified..] and unto them that look for him shall he APPEAR the second time without sin unto salvation.

Continuing when this 1000 years reign of death is expired, this short time, little season the Devil has come down:

Rev 20:9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: [= to wage war, battle...] and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.

Rev 2-:10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.[…till an appointed time of ‘death’ no more. ]

The power used to put away the wicked are signified many different ways throughout Scripture, namely as the Sword, fire, smoke and brimstone by John, all are one spiritual instrument for the destruction of the flesh.

At the fullness of time, (Gal 4:4) the spirit of Life, the Spirit of Jesus Christ manifest in the two witness, in us to destroy the sins of the flesh bringing in the righteousness of Christ.

This is the beginning of the New Man in our hearts reigning in righteousness with Jesus Christ- a thousand year reign of Christ.

Isa 26:9 With my soul have I desired thee in the night; yea, with my spirit within me will I seek thee early: for when thy judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness.

This is good news as we learn and begin to do righteousness in this present age.

This is the true teaching of our Lord, not the doctrine of devils tormenting those yet under the Law. The end of the reign of the old man is the beginning of the reign of holiness and righteousness of the new man. That is how Scripture becomes fulfilled in those that keep the sayings of the prophecy of this book.

Fire coming down from heaven is the second coming of Christ from heaven, His Spirit manifesting in our hearts, for one purpose only:

1Jo 3:5 And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; [=same one event as Heb 9:26 above..] and in him is no sin.

To take away our sins, the Son of God must be manifest in the place where the man of sin dwells, where the devil gives him his power.

1Jo 3:8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, [..in the sinful kingdom to establish His righteous kingdom...] that he might destroy the works of the devil.

It is only through the lake of fire, [which is the second death] appearing at the end of our age/world, the end of the signified thousand years reign of unrighteousness that the Lord begins to deliver our flesh to this fire to be purged of unrighteousness, for the beast/death to be “given to the burning flame”.

Heb 1:3 (NKJV)  who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high,

Dan 7:11 (NKJV)  “I watched then because of the sound of the pompous words which the horn was speaking; I watched till the beast was slain, and its body destroyed and given to the burning flame.

We begin to die daily to the body of death and the carnal mind, that is, the fulfilment of the lake of fire, which is the second death begining in our lives so we can live according to God in the Spirit.

1Co 15:31 I protest by your rejoicing which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily.

Rev 20:5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.

Christ’s second appearing to us is to abolish our carnal mind which is death, bringing us into the righteousness of God, the life of Jesus Christ.

2Co 4:10 Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.

2 Co 4:11 For we which live are always delivered unto death for Jesus’ sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh.

2Ti 1:10 But is now [=when a signified thousand years reign of death is fulfilled..] made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel:

The outcome of the ages is the appearing of the King, to establish His Kingdom in us:

Col 1:26 Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints:

Col 1:27 To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:

After the elect are slain and gathered in His Rest, they must rest for “a little season” till the rest of the dead that will become their fellow servants and brethren, be killed as they were.  Inwardly, that’s the rest of you and I!

Rev 6:11 And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.

Rev 17:10 (KJV)  And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space.

This little season begins the process of Rev 20:3 again in those dead that are to come to Life, confirming all men will live each jot and tittle of the word of God inwardly and be presented holy and blameless before God our Father.

The last times.

The mystery of iniquity [2Thes 2:7] and mystery of godliness [1Tim 3:16] are both hidden in the times and seasons of the Father.

While our flesh was under the dominion of the king of death, (the carnal mind and body) under the devil in the sinful kingdom, he is given to deceive our whole world with his innumerable false doctrines in the first heaven.

Many false prophets of Satan continue to be sent out to seduce many and bound them in strong delusions regarding times and seasons of Christ.

1Jo 2:18 Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard  that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.

1Jo 4:1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets […who are these “many antichrists”..] are gone out into the world.

There are many contradicting doctrines that continue to be taught by these antichrists dealing with “the last time”.  Eschatology – as taught by these false prophets – is an aspect of Babylonian teachings that is there to reserve many “in the blackness of darkness” [Jude 1:13] of “the sinful kingdom”.

Professing to be wise, many hold different viewpoints of the 1000-year reign of Christ upon the earth (termed millennium) from the false doctrine of rapture, to pre-millennial, post-millennial views to an a-millennial view, which is closer to the truth of Christ of a spiritual event.

Christ, as a consuming fire, has appeared the second time in the hearts of His witnesses chosen before of the Father, not to all people (Acts 10:41) to turn them away from all this ungodliness of times and seasons, to take away their sins at the end of their appointed age.

This is the signified “thousand years”….”forty two months”, “three and a half years” of living in the flesh, being under the Law of sin and death.

It is not the true doctrine of Jesus Christ to teach that his second coming will be in sinful flesh as it was the first time.

This teaching is “another Jesus” of the men of this world.

We have seen that Christ will come and rule in the hearts of men, and has told and shown us many times that His kingdom of rulership is within. He is not coming to restore a physical kingdom again, but rather to establish His spiritual kingdom in true holiness and righteousness.

Let us flee from all the doctrines of antichrist that blinds our eyes from the Truth, and keep our eyes fully focused inwardly (Rev 4:8) having rulership, dominion over our bodies and minds now. “The end of the age”…”the last time”…”the thousand years expired/finished “ for the flesh to be done away which is come upon us now.

1Co 10:11 Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: [= Gk: types of us as written in Rev 13 and others, being under the dominion of the dragon ruling the beast…] and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world [Gk=end of the age, “the thousand year” reign of death…] are come.

The apostle Peter concludes of this same time of the Lord, and to all that have eyes to see, will comprehend this is the same time and season apostle John signified to us. The outcome of the ages is that we all “live according to God in the spirit”.

1Pe 4:6 For this cause was the gospel preached also to them that are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, [= at the appearing  of our Lord Jesus Christ in our flesh the second time unto salvation..] but live according to God in the spirit.

1Pe 4:7 But the end of ALL THINGS is at hand: […”the time is at hand”, the spiritual end of ALL (signified) times and seasons of the old man in the sinful kingdom of the world…] be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.

The false doctrine of the physical second coming of Christ in an outward kingdom, which includes “the rapture” are all wrought in the hearts of men by the false understanding of the word of God, which remains sealed with seven seals to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea.

The false prophets have their strength to deceive the whole world by twisting the commandments, using the same scriptures with a carnal understanding.  As revealed in the writings of apostle Paul to the Romans, sin of ignorance, being held in strong delusion takes occasion by the commandment. (Rom 7:8)

The whole world still wondering after the beast (Rev 13) is, was and will continue to be deceived by times and seasons. Those that dwell on the earth are still worshipping the dragon in their signified “forty two months”, as another beast – the false prophet – uses this fire, this verse of the word of God to deceive all that hears him.

Act 1:9 And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.

Act 1:10 And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel;

Act 1:11 Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.

The false prophets point to those spiritual words of the two witnesses, the angel of the Lord as a confirmation of a physical second coming of Christ.  He causes many to continue to look outward with carnal eyes, gazing into physical heaven and its times, searching the face of the weather and current events to gauge the sign of the time and season Christ will return. This is all faith by sight and we are to burn that type of false doctrines out of our heavens henceforth.

Those who are spiritually minded and are plucking out their carnal eyes [Mar 9:47] continue to gaze to their spiritual heaven, their minds and hearts for the Lord to continue to appear.

Col 3:1 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, [=gazing up into heaven] where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.

Col 3:2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. […the “earth” is being done away with]

Col 3:3 For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.

Col 3:4 When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, […at the second coming in our hearts and minds, the true heaven...] then shall ye also appear with him in glory.

These are they who keep the prophecy of the sayings of “the little book”, who love His appearing in His kingdom.

2Ti 4:8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

We must however not remain ignorant ourselves of this blindness that has happened to the many called, Babylon and her many Christian denominations at this time is for but a short season.

Rom 11:25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. [=…Rev 20:5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.]

Rom 11:26 And so all Israel shall be saved:  [= All men will partake of the promises of Christ, be part of the body of Christ once resurrected to Life – Eph 3:6…] as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:

Rom 11:27 For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.

This is the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  Conclusion

We hope this study will continue to enlighten us that the Lord is, was and will be establishing His kingdom in our hearts and minds to create the New Man in the express image of the Father.  This is His age lasting purpose, and He will gather all in Christ, in the three harvests in the appointed time [1Co 15:22-23] for each man.

1Ti 4:10  For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, specially of those that believe.

We must continue to renew our minds, and no longer conform to the physical second coming, outward times and seasons the whole world is seduced to believe.  In due time, the Lord will complete His mighty works, and His kingdom will be established and shall reign in true righteousness in all men.  This is the teaching of Jesus Christ.

Eph 4:21 If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus:

Eph 4:22 That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, […the reign of death under the thousand years..] which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;

Eph 4:23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;

Eph 4:24 And that ye put on the new man, [=“Priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.”] which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

Therein is the establishment of the kingdom of God in the saint’s hearts.

Rev 11:15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.

Luk 17:21 (YLT)  nor shall they say, Lo, here; or lo, there; for lo, the reign of God is within you.’ Which kingdom is established in us “quickly.”

Rev 22:20 He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.

There are many questions and details our carnal minds will want to know about how the Lord will bring about the end of the outward ages.  Many denominations and false prophets have made a living exploiting that carnal demand and giving their hearers what they want to hear.  Lord willing, we will continue to preach the word and stay far away from the fables our flesh so badly wants to hear and profit from.

2Pe 2:2 (KJV)  And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.

2Pe 2:3 (KJV)  And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.

2Ti 4:2  Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.  2Ti 4:3  For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;

2Ti 4:4  And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

Those being saved are walking by faith not by sight.  We are learning to trust in the Lord and wait for Him to reveal what we need to know.  Simply put, our focus is to be on Him and what He is working in the kingdom of God within us.

Joh 21:20 (NKJV)  Then Peter, turning around, saw the disciple whom Jesus loved following, who also had leaned on His breast at the supper, and said, “Lord, who is the one who betrays You?”

Joh 21:21 (NKJV)  Peter, seeing him, said to Jesus, “But Lord, what about this man?”

Joh 21:22 (NKJV)  Jesus said to him, “If I will that he remain till I come, what is that to you? You follow Me.

The Wonderful Day of the Lord

There is a day spoken about in Scriptures much more than any other day.  This day is so central to salvation and the message of the gospel a refresher is always needed.  This little flock has been washed with water, we have been prepared for true baptism of Christ which will be and is destroying all carnal mindedness within us and ushering in true and lasting righteousness.

Mal 4:5  Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD:

The great day of the Lord is what comes afterward and what truly converts us into doers and not just hearers of the Word.  It takes fire and the second coming of Christ which begins this great day in our heavens and our earth.

Mat 3:11  I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:

It is only through a fiery furnace that our new man Christ in us is emerging as the overcomer.  Our carnal and sinful ways are being burned up through this “day” which is our day of judgment otherwise known as the lake of fire which is the Second Death and wherein death (carnality) will be destroyed and along with it, the works of the devil (Heb 2:14-15).

There is much more to come than what we learned from the church in the wilderness from which we have now come out of [Rev 12:17].  Our baptism of fire has come and is coming, and we need to be prepared and reminded that our enduring this is how we obtain the greatest prize of all, knowing the Lord and having His mind.

1Co 3:13  Every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is.

1Co 3:14  If any man’s work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.

1Co 3:15  If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.

The Lord’s Day is not a Sunday or a Saturday or any outward day, it is a spiritual term referencing the age or process by which all men are transformed in the image and glory of Jesus Christ.  This study is intended to show just how pervasive this “day” is spoken about in our bibles via many different symbols and terms.  The day of the Lord for every man is the same day as “judgment day” that is making all things new through the consuming work of the fiery word of God burning up the wood hay and stubble [our carnal works] within the hearts (earth) and minds (heavens) of His people.

2Pe 3:10  But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which, the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

Isa 2:12  For the day of the LORD of hosts shall be upon every one that is proud and lofty, and upon every one that is lifted up; and he shall be brought low:

Like all words, the term “the day of the Lord” is part of the two-edged sword (Heb 4:12) meaning there is both a positive and a negative application; depending on whether the old man or new man is in view.

To the carnal mind, the Scriptures with these seeming discrepancies of good and evil veil the truth and have led to all the orthodox denominations and speculative theories about the truth regarding judgment and the day of the Lord. The truth is hidden behind the letter of the words and only revealed to the precious few GIVEN the understanding and keys to the kingdom (Mat 13:11).

There is a wide range in the language used to describe the day of the Lord and its other synonyms.  We are told, on one hand, the Lord’s coming will be a great light (Isa 9:2) and very bright (2Th 2:8) yet, on the other hand, this day is also said to be very dark.

Amo 5:20  Shall not the day of the LORD be darkness, and not light? even very dark, and no brightness in it?

The carnal mind has a tough time seeing the Lord as both light and darkness, yet He is all those things and is working all those things (Rom 8:28, Isa 45:7) for the greater good of His people.  To the new man given eyes to see and ears to hear, Christ who is His Word is light. But to the other side, the old man, the carnal mind, those same words, and same Christ is sheer darkness.  Yet it is all the same Word it is all part of the Lord’s work in His people.

Exo 14:20 And it came between the camp of the Egyptians and the camp of Israel; and it was a cloud and darkness to them, but it gave light by night to these: so that the one came not near the other all the night.

Psa 139:12 Yea, the darkness hideth not from thee; but the night shineth as the day: the darkness and the light are both alike to thee.

Example of Babylonian Delusion

Here is a comparative table that is taken from a “Christian website” that sees the two sides of the same sword as being truly different days for different people.  This is the way most Christians see it with only those evil people over there experiencing the wrath of God. They don’t know the thing they deny is what will save them [i.e. the Lake of Fire and Second Death]

The Day of Christ is distinct from the Day of the Lord as daylight is to dark. The first is a time of great anticipation, joy, blessing, and reward. The second is a time of terror, wrath, dread, and woe. A stark contrast exists between these two days. The chart below outlines the differences.

Day of Christ Day of the Lord
For the Church (the Body of Christ) For rejectors of Christ
A day of blessing and reward A day of judgment
A heavenly hope An earthly despair
Eagerly anticipated Feared and dreaded

The truth is these days are one in the same exact day! The day of Christ is the day of the Lord, there is no difference.  Our judgment is the blessing and the same event also blessing and rewarding us.

Isa 1:27  Zion shall be redeemed with judgment, and her converts with righteousness.

2Co 5:10  For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

1Co 3:15  If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.

All of God’s people come out of Babylon [Rev 18:4 – Come out of her my people] which includes outward orthodoxy but also spiritual Babylon within our hearts.  We learn wrongly in Babylon that the day of the Lord and us dying in the lake of fire is only for those evil people out there. Such carnal thinking and filtering of Scriptures by the letter vs the spirit has us avoiding the very thing we must embrace and hasten unto if we want to be like Christ.

2Pe 3:11  Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,

2Pe 3:12  Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?

2Pe 3:13  Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

The day is a Great Day!

The day of the Lord is a GREAT DAY because it is the day during which we are being saved as we live through and embrace the chastening and scourging our Lord is pouring out.  It is a great day because the Lord is being exalted within our hearts and minds, Christ is being raised within us!

Zep 1:14  The great day of the LORD is near, it is near, and hasteth greatly, even the voice of the day of the LORD: the mighty man shall cry there bitterly.

Zec 12:9  And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.

The enemies of the Lord within us, our old man, the beast, the false prophet, and Satan and all his lying demons are being destroyed in this great and terrible day of the Lord. What a wonderful work of God to His people beginning with the Elect in this age.  So much for the false rapture theory and it’s look-alike lies that have its believers taking themselves completely out of the Book of Life by denying the day of the Lord is for them.  All that we knew is being turned dark and destroyed with the brightness of the Lord’s coming. Our old ways are being replaced with His ways and His righteousness.

Rev 6:17  For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?

Isa 26:9  …. for when thy judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness.

The Day of the Lord is the best thing that happens to us. It is the day, the time during which we come to know the Lord having His mind and being made partakers of His holiness.  His Word won’t fail to perform!

Joh 14:18  I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.

Joh 14:19  Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also [when He lives within us]

Joh 14:20  At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.

We are living this day out when we are drinking the wine of gospel which is the blessing to the new man and the wrath to the old.

Mar 14:24  And he said unto them, This is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many.

Mar 14:25  Verily I say unto you, I will drink no more of the fruit of the vine, until that day that I drink it new in the kingdom of God.

Seeing the two-edged sword with spiritual eyes, the inconsistencies about judgment are being cleared up.  “The day” is a great day but it is also a terrible day for the old man and our carnal mind.

Heb 10:31  (NLT)  It is a terrible thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

Psa 66:3  Say unto God, How terrible art thou in thy works! through the greatness of thy power shall thine enemies submit themselves unto thee [this is salvation, all enemies under His feet]

This great day of the Lord is even known as the day of evil because the coming of Christ shines light (truth) onto all the hidden evil within us.

Pro 16:4  The LORD hath made all things for himself: yea, even the wicked [the marred vessel – Jer 18:4] for the day of evil.

Jer 2:19  Thine own wickedness [evil] shall correct thee, and thy backslidings shall reprove thee …

It’s also known as the day of vengeance!

A jealous God is saving us for His namesake (Eze 36:22-23) not our own.

1Co 3:16  Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

1Co 3:17  If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.

Such destruction is the fate of every man that comes in that same day also known as His day of vengeance.

2Th 1:8  (NKJV) in flaming fire taking vengeance on those who do not know God, and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Rom 12:19  (NKJV) Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, “VENGEANCE IS MINE, I WILL REPAY,” says the Lord.

Vengeance against the old man is what Christ has come to proclaim and is the entire premise of the glorious gospel.

Isa 61:2  To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;

It is a day of troubles and many tribulations

The day of the Lord signals the transition from the present evil age into the age of judgment when men are remade in the lake of fire.  It is only through much trouble any man shall enter into the kingdom (Act 14:22).

Eze 7:6  An end is come, the end is come: it watcheth for thee; behold, it is come.

Eze 7:7  The morning is come [Christ has come] unto thee, O thou that dwellest in the land: the time is come, the day of trouble is near ….

Zep 1:15  That day is a day of wrath, a day of trouble and distress, a day of wasteness and desolation, a day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick darkness,

Rev 7:14  And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

This Day is the Wonderful Works of the Lord

It is only through faith we can “fear not” the things the Lord is doing in our lives.  This will be the greatest trial men will face in these clay bodies.

Mat 24:21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

Trusting in His promises we are looking forward and asking Him to Come more and more in our life in that day knowing the process is what is savings us.

Rev 22:20  He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.

So, while all orthodox Christianity teaches the day of the Lord (aka the Lake of Fire) is to be avoided and something happening only to those sinners over there but not to us, the truth is the Day of the Lord is a wonderful time for the new man.  It is our enduring the process that God requires to call the light out of the darkness and bring forth the new man, the Lord from our heavens.  They are one and the same known as the wonderful works of the Lord to His children.

Psa 107:24  These see the works of the LORD, and his wonders in the deep.

Psa 107:25  For he commandeth, and raiseth the stormy wind, which lifteth up the waves thereof.

Psa 107:26  They mount up to the heaven, they go down again to the depths: their soul is melted because of trouble.

Psa 107:27  They reel to and fro, and stagger like a drunken man, and are at their wits’ end.

Psa 107:28  Then they cry unto the LORD in their trouble, and he bringeth them out of their distresses.

Psa 107:29  He maketh the storm a calm, so that the waves thereof are still.

Psa 107:30  Then are they glad because they be quiet; so he bringeth them unto their desired haven.

Psa 107:31  Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men! [repeated 4x in Psa 107 alone]

The storm and trials the Lord puts upon us may not feel at times to be wonderful when viewed from a body of flesh.  Yet to the spiritual man and he who is overcoming they are becoming known as marvelous works as we look behind and see our salvation.

Rev 15:3  And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints.

Mat 21:42  Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord’s doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes?

Gathering Together Awaiting our Day of the Lord

The time of the coming of the Lord inwardly in the hearts and minds of His people is known only to the Father.

Mat 24:36  But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

An outward day is coming when this world and its evil nations will cease to exist.  Yet that day is already appearing within us as the fire is being turned up as this gospel is preached and believed in every nation within us.

Mat 24:13  But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

Mat 24:14  And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

Rev 1:3  Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand [the day of the Lord and the end of all things]

The Lord has us in a Living Body of Christ to help one another through what lies ahead.

The day of Jesus Christ which is the Day of the Lord does have an end.  He that began the work in us will and is finishing it.

Php 1:6  being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ;

Paul and others and we ourselves are too frequently admonish one another to stay the course, to finish the race in order to receive the prize.

2Jn 1:8  Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward.

2Pe 1:10  Therefore, brethren, be even more diligent to make your call and election sure, for if you do these things you will never stumble;

2Pe 1:11  for so an entrance will be supplied to you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

As we grow and mature, doom and gloom to the old man is being changed into rejoicing as the new man increases and the Lord is revealed within us.

Joh 16:20  Verily, verily, I say unto you, That ye shall weep and lament, but the world shall rejoice: and ye shall be sorrowful, but your sorrow shall be turned into joy.

1Pe 4:13  But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ’s sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.

The Lord’s plan is to prosper us by giving us His mind and manifesting His glory within (Jer 29:11).  If we are given faith to believe in Him, we shall be saved by this hope (Rom 8:24).  This is the hope that is, was and will be saving us as we abide in it during our “dreadful” day of the Lord.

Rom 5:1  Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,

Rom 5:2  through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God [to be revealed]

Rom 5:3  And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance;

Rom 5:4  and perseverance, character; and character, hope.

Rom 5:5  Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

Knowing these truths and God’s purpose and methods in the “day of the Lord” and having faith in them, is how we are able to endure what is coming upon our earth, trusting in what the Lord is doing.

2Co 4:15  For all things are for your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory of God.

2Co 4:16  For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.

2Co 4:17  For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;

Our abiding through our day of the Lord is the greatest blessing as we are able to endure paying the high pricing of being chosen in Christ.

2Ti 4:8  Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love [1Jo 5:3] his appearing.

We are so blessed to have been awakened to righteousness. Let’s take hold the admonishments of the Apostles and the Lord to pray, stay awake and remain sober knowing these Truths.

1Th 5:6  Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.

Luk 21:36  Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man.

“The Acceptable Year of the Lord”

Preaching the gospel is the same as preaching the acceptable year of the Lord.  Coming to understand this will help us know how we are to henceforth live our lives and what to expect as we finish the race set before us.  When Christ comes speaking the gospel to us, the acceptable year of the Lord has begun within us.

Luk 4:17  And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written,

Luk 4:18  The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,

Luk 4:19  To preach the acceptable year of the Lord

Luk 4:20  And he closed the book, and he gave it again to the minister, and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him.

Luk 4:21  And he began to say unto them, This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears.

The acceptable year of the Lord is the year of the Lord’s favor upon men and is the greatest blessing any man receives.  That favor towards man, of course, is the true grace of God which is what transforms us and remakes us into His image by the chastening and scourging of our old man and beastly way of life.  The grace of God is not a substitution of his death for ours, nor is it forgiveness where no suffering or consequences are experienced.  True grace is the fire, the wrath of God poured out against our flesh and old man’s way of life.  It is what is teaching us righteousness (Tit 2:12).

Heb 12:6  For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth (accepts).

Isa 26:9  With my soul have I desired thee in the night; yea, with my spirit within me will I seek thee early: for when thy judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness.

We see the acceptable year of the Lord is also known as the day of vengeance that brings about our new man (the man of His righteousness) that is established by faith.

Isa 61:1  The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;

Isa 61:2  To proclaim the acceptable [H7522]  year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;

The acceptable year of the Lord could also be called the year of favor if we look at the uses of the Hebrew word for favor and acceptable.

God’s favor towards us is His righteous judgments.  Knowing we are in the lake of fire that is killing death within us (the carnal mind) is the one sign we have been received of our heavenly Father and are in the process of being accepted as we are being transformed into the image of Christ.

Psa 30:5  For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour [H7522 – acceptance, receiving us] is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.

The restoration of Israel (God’s Elect now and all men in the end) is accomplished in this “acceptable” year and time the Lord has ordained when He comes to rule in our lives (establishing the earth).

Isa 49:8  Thus saith the LORD, In an acceptable time have I heard thee, and in a day of salvation have I helped thee: and I will preserve thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, to establish the earth, to cause to inherit the desolate heritages;

Isa 49:9  That thou mayest say to the prisoners, Go forth; to them that are in darkness, Shew yourselves. They shall feed in the ways, and their pastures shall be in all high places.

It is in this acceptable year of the Lord that we are made to give an account and we are judged and our spiritual progression is advanced from the initial down payment onward towards a mature man of God who is “doing righteousness”.

Act 10:35  But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him.

Rom 12:1  I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

The acceptable year of the Lord is no more a literal year than any other word of Scripture, none of which are literal and all of which are Spirit (Joh 6:63) and spoken in similitudes and parables (Hos 12:10, Mar 4:11).  Outwardly the acceptable year defines the three harvests of the Lord by which all men are being saved (1Co 15:22-24) in the order ordained.  Yet this acceptable year of the Lord is also a living event that all men beginning with the Elect will live out inwardly.  This year of the Lord is what is converting us and making us acceptable to the Lord.  It the blessing of the new man coming forth a progressive process that mature us.

Deu 16:16  Three times in a year shall all thy males appear before the LORD thy God in the place which he shall choose; in the feast of unleavened bread, and in the feast of weeks, and in the feast of tabernacles: and they shall not appear before the LORD empty:

Deu 16:17  Every man shall give as he is able, according to the blessing of the LORD thy God which he hath given thee.

The acceptable year of the Lord is the same as the three days during which He is rebuilding the Temple of God we have destroyed and profaned.

Joh 2:19  Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.

The working of the Lord within us for these three days is the one sign given that the Lord is with us and we are now being conformed into His image and righteousness.

Mat 12:38  Then certain of the scribes and of the Pharisees answered, saying, Master, we would see a sign from thee.
Mat 12:39  But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas:
Mat 12:40  For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale’s belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth

Our change of heart via the spiritual circumcision done without hands (Col 2:11) is the same acceptance process (our consecration) by which the Lord that brings forth the new man.

Eze 43:27  And when these days are expired, it shall be, that upon the eighth day, and so forward, the priests shall make your burnt offerings upon the altar, and your peace offerings; and I will accept you, saith the Lord GOD.

It is there in the body of Christ, in His Holy Mountain where we will be accepted and where all of this righteous work will be performed in us.   The Lord’s people are separated by the gospel and to the Lord, the savor of death to death (our carnal mind) is sweet and is what makes us acceptable in His sight.

Eze 20:41  I will accept you with your sweet savour [of death], when I bring you out from the people, and gather you out of the countries wherein ye have been scattered; and I will be sanctified in you before the heathen.

Dying to death on the cross is how we are being conformed into the image of the Son and is what makes us acceptable to the Lord. It is His desires and is what He is getting in working all things according to the counsel of His will and commanding us to “follow Him” to death.  This is why our death (death to death, the second death) is so very precious to the Lord.

Psa 116:15  Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints.

Ecc 7:1  A good name is better than precious ointment; and the day of death than the day of one’s birth.

A new testament witness explaining the Lord’s view of our death is this.

Col 1:20  And, having made peace [with you and me] through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.

Col 1:21  And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled

Col 1:22  In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:

Those being accepted by the Lord are those bringing judgment to the Gentiles within themselves meaning the rest of the dead.  Those the Lord accepts are one and the same those in whom He delights when this judgment is brought.

Isa 42:1  Behold my servant, whom I uphold; mine elect, in whom my soul delighteth [H7521 – Accepts]; I have put my spirit upon him: he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles.

Pro 3:12  For whom the LORD loveth he correcteth; even as a father the son in whom he delighteth [H7521 – Accepts]

The Lord “taking pleasure” is also one and the same as the Lord “accepting us” as Psalm 149 confirms.

Psa 149:4  For the LORD taketh pleasure [H7521 – accepts] in his people: he will beautify the meek with salvation.

Psa 149:5  Let the saints be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their beds.

Psa 149:6  Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two edged sword in their hand;

Psa 149:7  To execute vengeance upon the heathen, [within first] and punishments upon the people;

Psa 149:8  To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron [rule and reign over the inward nations];

Psa 149:9  To execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints. Praise ye the LORD.

Being accepted by God means we have been chosen and received as His son.  The very fact we are enduring fiery trials in our lake of fire and dying to death having our carnal mind destroyed is very good news. It is the Gospel!  Embracing the gospel is embracing the work of God’s chastening grace that is scourging our man of sin and burning up our entire old way of life in making all things new.

2Ti 1:8  Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God;

2Ti 1:9  Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,

2Ti 1:10  But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel:

Right now is the acceptable year of the Lord!  We are admonished not to squander it or receive the grace of God in vain.

2Co 6:1  We then, as workers together with him, beseech you also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain.

2Co 6:2  (For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I helped [succored] thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)

The trials in the church are only just beginning and we must remain on guard and watchful lest we are led astray and not learn the lessons we have witnessed with our own eyes of late.  The victory is certain, the baptism of fire, the cross, the lake of fire being the only way wherein righteousness will be established on a new heaven and a new earth within us.  I admonish myself and everyone to take hold of these precious promises we have been given and diligently pursue peace and holiness in the Lord.

2Pe 3:13  Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.

2Pe 3:14  Therefore, beloved, looking forward to these things, be diligent to be found by Him in peace, without spot and blameless;

Our carnal mind will cause us to be complacent and let our guard down and our enemies are always right there to tempt us to fall from walking the narrow road carrying our cross.

2Pe 3:17  Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness

2Pe 3:18  But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.

We should have every expectation of fiery trials daily as we need to go through the lake of fire now to die to death which is the second death.

2Co 6:4  But in all things approving ourselves as the ministers of God, in much patience, in afflictions, in necessities, in distresses,

2Co 6:5  In stripes, in imprisonments, in tumults, in labours, in watchings, in fastings;

2Co 6:6  By pureness, by knowledge, by longsuffering, by kindness, by the Holy Ghost, by love (Agape  – our obedience) unfeigned,

The Lord is seated now in our heavens and we are to be putting on the new man and no longer live in the life we once had when abiding in darkness.  Today is the acceptable year of the Lord.  Lord willing let’s bring forth fruit confirming the Word working in us to bring salvation.

Mar 16:19  So then, after the Lord had spoken to them, He was received up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God.

Mar 16:20  And they went out and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming the word through the accompanying signs. Amen.

Eph 5:9  For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;

Eph 5:10  Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.

I hope we all can grow to fully embrace the suffering and afflictions to which we have been appointed for the sake of the gospel of Jesus Christ (Phi 1:29).   Our flesh will grow tired but the power of the Spirit working mightily in us will keep us going with the help of the Lord’s ministering angels in this Body.  Believe this gospel and know we have been already accepted by the Lord and our redemption draws nigh.  Now is the time!  Today is the day!

Luk 21:28  Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near.”

Heb 3:13  but exhort one another daily, while it is called “TODAY,” lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.

Heb 3:14  For we have become partakers of Christ if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast to the end,

2Ti 2:11  It is a faithful saying: For if we be dead with him, we shall also live with him:

Body of Christ, Elect

The Heavenly City of Truth

los angeles 2

Los Angeles means the “city of angels”. I have always had a great attraction to LA not knowing at that time what angels and the city of angels is actually referring to in the word of God. Now I know why I always loved “LA” as in the spirit there is a real city of angels. I have been blessed beyond explanation to be brought into the gates of this spiritual city.  This spiritual city is full of lights and is very bright spiritually yet appears as darkness to the carnal mind.

The gathering of the saints happens in this spiritual city.  Only those dragged to the Lord and appointed to be in the city will be there, all who enter must have the covering of the Lord Jesus Christ and be written in the Book of Life. Walking in the light of this city is in fact what saves us.

Rev 21:24  And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it.

Rev 21:25  And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there.

Rev 21:26  And they shall bring the glory and honour of the nations into it.

Rev 21:27  And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb’s book of life.

I am going to speak about this city and hopefully show what this city represents and who is in this city now and who will be in this city in the future.  These are extremely important points and the biggest blessing one can attain to is to be in this city of angels here and now in this life in these bodies of clay.  God’s Elect dwell together in unity in a spiritual placed called Mt Zion.   This is a city with several names and is the Jerusalem above.

Zec 8:3 Thus saith the LORD; I am returned unto Zion, and will dwell in the midst of Jerusalem: and Jerusalem shall be called a city of truth; and the mountain of the LORD of hosts the holy mountain.

The symbolism in Scripture hides these wonderful truths from carnal eyes and ears.  But the Lord reveals these truths and gives His Chosen ones the ability to hear and understand the heavenly language that is spoken in the city of angels, the city of our Lord.  This is the real LA,  sorry Los Angeles, but the city of angels speaks to God’s Elect and our fellowship in the Body of Christ. It is a blessing given to so very few.  How few continues to amaze me yet the Scriptures tell us this in stunning clarity if only we could believe them.

Mat 13:16  But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear.

Mat 13:17  For verily I say unto you, That many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them.

Make no mistake, as amazing as this city is,  we all had to be dragged there and all have no appreciation for the blessing that had been poured upon us until we lived in this city for quite some time.  I have been so blessed and grown tremendously in just a few years and now have great hope for what lies ahead despite the wickedness and evil that is running rampant in our physical world.

Ultimately all men and all eyes shall be in the city of the Lord where the great King rules.  I hope these Scriptures help make alive the message of hope and peace that only comes when we are planted firmly in this city of truth, the real LA in the Spirit.

Psa 48:2 Beautiful for situation, the joy of the whole earth, is mount Zion, on the sides of the north, the city of the great King.

Isa 33:20 Look upon Zion, the city of our solemnities: thine eyes shall see Jerusalem a quiet habitation, a tabernacle that shall not be taken down; not one of the stakes thereof shall ever be removed, neither shall any of the cords thereof be broken.

Isa 52:1 Awake, awake; put on thy strength, O Zion; put on thy beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city: for henceforth there shall no more come into thee the uncircumcised and the unclean.

That city Jerusalem in the modern nation of Israel has nothing to do with the city I speak of and the one spoken of in the Scriptures of being the heavenly city, where the angels of God dwell.

There is no free will involved in entering into ZION.  It is all the work of God.  Like I said, we must be dragged against the will of our flesh and carnal mind.

Jer 3:14 Turn, O backsliding children, saith the LORD; for I am married unto you: and I will take you one of a city, and two of a family, and I will bring you to Zion:

Mic 4:10 Be in pain, and labour to bring forth, O daughter of Zion, like a woman in travail: for now shalt thou go forth out of the city, and thou shalt dwell in the field, and thou shalt go even to Babylon; there shalt thou be delivered; there the LORD shall redeem thee from the hand of thine enemies.

Reading Jeremiah 29 and Ezra for example we see clearly who puts us into Babylon and then who causes us to come out of Babylon and into this city but only in the appointed times.

Jer 29:14  And I will be found of you, saith the LORD: and I will turn away your captivity, and I will gather you from all the nations, and from all the places whither I have driven you, saith the LORD; and I will bring you again into the place whence I caused you to be carried away captive.

Ezr 1:5  Then rose up the chief of the fathers of Judah and Benjamin, and the priests, and the Levites, with all them whose spirit God had raised, to go up to build the house of the LORD which is in Jerusalem.

All men will one day see this city and will enter into it.  But for now, it is only for God’s Very Elect who in fact make up and are this city.  This city is also the bride of Christ, it has many roles and function and is represented by numerous symbols which I will defer to a later post Lord willing.  John’s vision in Revelation speaks of seeing this city come down out of heaven and remember, heaven is within you, it is not some planet in outer space, the kingdom of God, including heaven is WITHIN YOU (Luke 17:20-21).

Rev 21:2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
Rev 21:3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.

The scarcity of how few are chosen continues to amaze me.  We can only come to appreciate the blessing that has fallen upon us, without any merit on our part, and it must be given to us to live in this city in this age while yet in a vessel of clay.  This truth will be nonsense to us all until we have walked in the fire and the light of Mt. Zion for some time.  The heavenly city of spiritual Jerusalem is a type and shadow for the true church which is the Body of Christ.  Like our Lord, we are sent to represent Him and be the light unto this dark world.

Mat 5:14  Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.

Heb 12:22  But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,

Heb 12:23  To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,

This is the church, the called out ones that are of one mind by the same Spirit of truth that lives in us all.

The meaning of the word ANGELS

The words translated as angels in our bibles also mean messengers. A simple word search in esword will quickly confirm this fact. For example the Hebrew work MALAK occurs 212 times and is translated “angel” and “messenger” almost interchangeably as the KJC reflects.  I hope you are given the zeal to search out the truth in the Scriptures.  To properly divide them, it takes much research and more importantly God given ears to hear.

Pro 25:2  It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings is to search out a matter.

Assuming you are a king of the Lord and one of His Elect, let’s see what the word angel really means.

An amazing amount of deception exists in Babylon, simply from their failure to see God’s angels for what they really are. Can’t go into those details here but I will tell you, it is the brethren, it is the very Elect of God who will camp around us when we are in this spiritual city and fear the Lord. We are delivered, which means salvation when we abide in this heavenly city. God’s Elect are the real guardian angels contrary to what we are taught in Babylon.

Psa 34:7 The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.

While the Lord does have spirit being angels like Gabriel, in the vast majority of places where angels is referenced it is really speaking about God’s Very Elect, His Angels and His Messengers. It is thru HIS BODY that the Lord works.

This truth is hidden from carnal eyes and helps to hide the truth of God’s word and cloak the fact that God’s Elect are the angels, the ministers of fire that speak His word and do the works as Jesus Christ the Body.

Heb 1:7 And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire.

Jer 5:14 Wherefore thus saith the LORD God of hosts, Because ye speak this word, behold, I will make my words in thy mouth fire, and this people wood, and it shall devour them.

Of course we have to also know that fire is not literal fire and wood is not wood and embrace the Bible in spirit and learn comparing spiritual to spiritual just as we are told.

1Co 2:13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

The carnal mind cannot do this, it always falls in the trap of comparing physical with spiritual and misses the main point and perverts the way of truth and creates false doctrines as a result.

The angel of the Lord is Christ.  Yet Christ works through His Body and  upon which HE is the head.

Joh 20:21  Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.

Jesus Christ considers His Body as Himself, it is through us that He works.

Act 9:4  And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?

Act 9:5  And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it ishard for thee to kick against the pricks.

Please don’t accuse me of claiming I am the head Jesus Christ but do not mock my boldness to say I am the Lord’s, I am a part of His Body.  Let the redeemed of the Lord say so!

Psa 107:2 Let the redeemed of the LORD say so

The messengers of God are His angels and they speak THE WORD that brings fire and judgment upon our sins and carnal nature, when we are given ears to hear. It is God’s Elect who bring the seven last plagues to man which destroys the old man and brings light out of the darkness.

Rev 19:10 And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.

Rev 15:1 And I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvellous, seven angels having the seven last plagues; for in them is filled up the wrath of God.
Rev 15:6 And the seven angels came out of the temple, having the seven plagues, clothed in pure and white linen, and having their breasts girded with golden girdles.
Rev 15:7 And one of the four beasts gave unto the seven angels seven golden vials full of the wrath of God, who liveth for ever and ever.

In type and shadow, we appear to those the Lord sends us and we speak the words of fire to ears that now hear and hearts that have been prepared to receive the word that is Christ.  This process devours spiritually the lies of Babylon and the wisdom of Egypt.

Exo 3:2 And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed.

As Christ comes, so do His angels to set the prisoners free.

Act 5:19 But the angel of the Lord by night opened the prison doors, and brought them forth, and said,

Luk 4:18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,

The Lord has a heavenly city in which He dwells. He has been in this city ever since He ascended into the clouds.

Act 1:8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
Act 1:9 And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.
Act 1:10 And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel;
Act 1:11 Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.

and Christ has been returning into these same clouds that carnal eyes cannot see ever since. Christ lives in His people, who are His temple and that is where He resides and we if we are God’s Elect are seated with Him now.

1Co 3:16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

Eph 2:6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavens in Christ Jesus:

Luk 17:20 And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:
Luk 17:21 Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.

Eventually every eye shall see Him in these clouds, but for now only the Elect have been given that blessing. Anyone thinking outwardly, looking in physical clouds is not getting it and are yet carnal thinking of Christ IN THE FLESH.

Luk 21:27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.

Carnal babes that believe in the rapture again are thinking physically in the natural and know not that the air refers to meeting Christ in the Spirit being one mind. A topic for another post.  Only few there be shall find the way in this age. The blessing of God’s Elect comes to so very few and the multitudes resent and look down upon their brothers who have been given this coat of many colors by the Lord.

Gen 37:3 Now Israel loved Joseph more than all his children, because he was the son of his old age: and he made him a coat of many colours.
Gen 37:4 And when his brethren saw that their father loved him more than all his brethren, they hated him, and could not speak peaceably unto him.

The Elect are the apple of God’s eye. The gathering of the saints is the assembly of the heavenly city and the great cloud of witnesses that make of God’s chosen few.

Heb 12:1 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,

The scarcity of how few, few really means is not evident to us until we have been walking in the fire for some time.  The heavenly city of spiritual Jerusalem is a type and shadow for the true church which is the Body of Christ.  Like our Lord we are sent to represent Him and be the light unto this dark world.

Mat 5:14  Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.

1Jn 4:17  Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.

Those in this spiritual city are the firstfruits unto salvation who will follow our Lord being born again by the Spirit.

Rom 8:23 And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.

1Co 5:23 But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ’s at his coming.

Jas :18 Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.

Rev 14:4 These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb.

The highway of holiness that FEW are given to find is only entered into on Mt. Zion. Foolish carnal minds will not enter in. The messengers of God will be gathered to Zion and sing spiritual songs of joy and we will be filled with the joy that only comes from know Jesus and His Christ.

Isa 35:8 And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err therein.

When we are redeemed by living thru God’s judgment now, we will be brought to Zion and will be singing the new song spoken so often about in the Scriptures.

Isa 35:9 No lion shall be there, nor any ravenous beast shall go up thereon, it shall not be found there; but the redeemed shall walk there:
Isa 35:10 And the ransomed of the LORD shall return, and come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads: they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.

I have been seeing the role of the BODY spoken of in Scripture in many more places. We being Sion/Zion are going to be the saviors that judge the world in righteousness if we make the first resurrection.  That is what we strive to attain to Lord willing.

Rom 11:26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:

Oba 1:21 And saviours shall come up on mount Zion to judge the mount of Esau; and the kingdom shall be the LORD’S.

When Christ first comes to all of us, we will stumble over the ROCK. But ultimately that rock will fall upon us and grind us to powder.

Rom 9:33 As it is written, Behold, I lay in Sion a stumblingstone and rock of offence: and whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

Mat 21:44 And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.

There is a clear purpose in what the Lord is doing in all of our lives. It is a blessing to begin to understand His ways and purposes having the mind of Christ. When the Lord drags you to Himself, He is going to drag you to HIS CITY OF ANGELS. You will be brought to Christ who lives in the heavenly city today.  You will be brought to Mt. Zion and enter into the Holy City of Jerusalem above.

Oba 1:17  But upon mount Zion shall be deliverance, and there shall be holiness; and the house of Jacob shall possess their possessions.

Joe 2:32  And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call.

This city of truth is the Body of Christ in each successive generation.  Jesus Christ is come in the flesh and is building His church and placing His saints in the city of angels.  I hope this has blessed a few that have been given to understand these mysteries of the kingdom of God.

ALL MEN WILL BE IN THE CITY IN THE END

The city of the Lord will eventually encompass all men.  The last enemy of Christ to be overcome is death and then all men shall be alive and abiding in the city of truth.  Here is this prophesy even in Jeremiah which precedes the details of the new covenant in Chapter 31.

Jer 31:38  Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that the city shall be built to the LORD from the tower of Hananeel unto the gate of the corner.

Jer 31:39  And the measuring line shall yet go forth over against it upon the hill Gareb, and shall compass about to Goath.

Jer 31:40  And the whole valley of the dead bodies, and of the ashes, and all the fields unto the brook of Kidron, unto the corner of the horse gate toward the east, shall be holy unto the LORD; it shall not be plucked up, nor thrown down any more for ever.

This city is His people,  for now the very Elect but ultimately it will encompass all men as all flesh shall see the salvation of the Lord.

Isa 26:1  In that day shall this song be sung in the land of Judah; We have a strong city; salvation will God appoint for walls and bulwarks.

Speaking for myself I love this city of righteousness.  I LOVE LA; which in truth and in spirit is Jerusalem Above.
