Go and Preach the Gospel

Destroying the Wisdom of the Wise

Rohnel and Peter, the servants of Jesus Christ, to them that are sanctified by God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ, and called: Mercy unto you, and peace, and love, be multiplied.

Php 4:20 Now unto God and our Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

Psa 16:7  I will bless the LORD, who hath given me counsel: my reins also instruct me in the night seasons.

Keep My Commandments and Live

Jer 7:23  But this thing commanded I them, saying, Obey my voice, and I will be your God, and ye shall be my people: and walk ye in all the ways that I have commanded you, that it may be well unto you.

Joh 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.

1Jn 3:24  And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.

1Pe 2:9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light [Commandments]:

1Pe 2:10  Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.

Go and Preach the Gospel

As Christ’s chosen people, we are being blessed with the innumerable blessings of preaching the Gospel. The time of the end [our carnal age] IS come as we heard and are hearing the Gospel being preached to us. Christ commands us to preach the Gospel. The Kingdom of God is the Gospel, which is Christ in us, the Hope of Glory.

Mrk 16:15  And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

Luk 4:18  The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach  the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach  deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,

Luk 9:2  And he sent them to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick.

Rom 10:15  And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!

1Co 9:16  For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of: for necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel!

2Co 4:5  For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus’ sake.

After the Comforter IS come to us, we immediately preach the Gospel. We are young and being reborn. Paul writes this to Timothy, which is a parable telling us that, although just being born, we immediately preach the Gospel:

1Ti 4:12  Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.

Here is the witness Paul leaves us as he immediately preaches the Son of God, that is to say, Paul immediately preaches the true Gospel, which is Christ’s Commandments.

Act 9:17  And Ananias went his way, and entered into the house; and putting his hands on him said, Brother Saul, the Lord, even Jesus, that appeared unto thee in the way as thou camest, hath sent me, that thou mightest receive thy sight, and be filled with the Holy Ghost.

Act 9:18  And immediately there fell from his eyes as it had been scales: and he received sight forthwith, and arose, and was baptized.

Act 9:19  And when he had received meat, he was strengthened. Then was Saul certain days with the disciples which were at Damascus.

Act 9:20  And straightway he preached Christ in the synagogues, that he is the Son of God.

The mystery of the true Gospel of Christ Jesus is being revealed. The Scriptures are being opened before our eyes as the Lord sifts His people in the time of harvest and brings the remnant out and onward to maturity in the Day of the Lord. The Day of the Lord is the end of the age of the natural man within us.

Dan 12:4  “But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book until the time of the end; many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase.”

Rev 10:7  But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.

Many Scriptures confirm that the true Gospel is a mystery until the time of the Lord’s spiritual harvest in our Day of the Lord. Only a few in this age and in every age since Christ understand this mystery being revealed to them. Here are a few witnesses below about the secret that was kept secret from us, but now is being made manifest:

Mrk 4:11  And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables:

Rom 16:25  Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began,

1Co 2:7  But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:

Eph 3:3  How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; as I wrote afore in few words,

Eph 3:4  Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ

Col 4:3  Withal praying also for us, that God would open unto us a door of utterance, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in bonds:

Spiritual Gentiles, those whom the Father through Christ IS chosen in this age and every age since Christ, are fellow heirs with the true spiritual Jews who are circumcised in heart. Spiritual Gentiles have the Commandments of Christ in their hearts and minds. This is part of the mystery being revealed.

Eph 3:9  And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:

Col 1:26  Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints:

Col 1:27  To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:

Spiritual Jews and spiritual Gentiles now grow in Grace and Knowledge of God, the Father, through Christ, being one, being knit together in love. Love is the Commandments.

Col 2:2  That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ;

2Pe 3:17  Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness.

2Pe 3:18  but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory both now and forever. Amen.

As the children of God, we are being quickened by the Power of His Commandments. From now on, Grace is upon us as we die to death, the second death on the tree with Christ. The tree is the cross [Acts 13:29]. This is our new way of life, and the only way to partake of the blessed and holy resurrection.

Joh 11:25  Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:

Joh 11:26  And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?

Act 4:33  And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all.

Rom 6:5  For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:

We are entering into a New Covenant with the Lord via the law of faith [the Law of Liberty], which is the faith of Christ, that is being worked in us by the fiery trials [grace] that are bringing about death to death within us, which is the second death.

Heb 8:10  For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:

Heb 8:11  And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest.

Php 1:21  For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.

This is the true Gospel of Christ that is being preached unto all the inward nations and cities, as well as the outward nations, that is to say, preached to those who have Christ’s Name in their foreheads. Christ’s Name is His Commandments, the Words of Spirit and Life. The preaching of the Gospel divides the city. Christ comes to bring division when the Gospel is preached, heard, and understood.

Joh 7:43  So there was a division among the people because of him.

Joh 7:44  And some of them would have taken him; but no man laid hands on him.

Luk 12:49  I am come to send fire on the earth; and what will I, if it be already kindled?

Luk 12:50  But I have a baptism to be baptized with [lake of fire] and how am I straitened till it be accomplished!

Luk 12:51  Suppose ye that I am come to give peace on earth? I tell you, Nay; but rather division:

Luk 12:52  For from henceforth there shall be five in one house divided, three against two, and two against three.

The Gospel and the sons of God preaching it separate us from brethren who can only walk so far with us. This is by the Lord’s design. Joseph is an Old Testament type and shadow of this separation.

Deu 33:16  And for the precious things of the earth and fulness thereof, and for the good will of him that dwelt in the bush: let the blessing come upon the head of Joseph, and upon the top of the head of him that was separated from his brethren.

Rom 1:1  Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated unto the gospel of God.

Being told we have to eat His flesh and drink His blood by dying on the cross with the Lord is not desirable to flesh and hence many walk no more with Christ and His Christ. Unless God, the Father, gives us the understanding to eat His flesh and drink His blood, we are not able to receive Christ.

Joh 6:65  And he said, Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father.

Joh 6:66  From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him.

Joh 6:67  Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go away?

Joh 6:68  Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life.

Joh 6:52  The Jews therefore strove among themselves, saying, How can this man give us his flesh to eat?

Joh 6:53  Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.

Joh 6:54  Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.

Carrying our cross results in the loss of many people and things we once knew. There is a remnant coming out of the chosen, and they are those who are being made faithful in this age. The greatest blessing is to be made like Christ. We do not fully comprehend what it means, but we see Him as He is, the further Christ causes us to walk with Him. All our lovers are now forsaken. Who are our lovers? Our lovers are the idols of our hearts; it is none other than mystery Babylon where we trade a great trade, making us rich and increased with goods, not knowing we are poor, wretched, blind, and miserable. Our great spiritual riches do not save us in the Day of the Lord. Only His Commandments change the inside of the cup.

Luk 18:25  For it is easier for a camel to go through a needle’s eye, than for a [spiritually] rich man [with knowledge that does not profit] to enter into the kingdom of God.

Luk 18:26  And they that heard it said, Who then can be saved?

Luk 18:27  And he said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.

Luk 18:28  Then Peter said, Lo, we have left all, and followed thee.

Luk 18:29  And he said unto them, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left [spiritual] house, or [spiritual] parents, or brethren, or wife, or children, for the kingdom of God’s sake,

Luk 18:30  Who shall not receive manifold more in this present time, and in the world to come life everlasting.

The way to live Christ is to die daily with Him. Hence, we are in the fiery furnace of Christ’s Commandments, knowing it is the end of our faith, saving our souls in the great Day of the Lord. Sons of God are the slain lambs of God, shadowed in the Book of Revelation. Think within and discern spiritually.

2Ti 2:11  It is a faithful saying: For if we be dead with him [dead to death Heb 2:14], we shall also live with him:

Col 2:12  Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.

Col 2:13  And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;

Col 2:14  Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;

Rev 5:6  And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.

We joy knowing that our sins are forgiven and the Lord showed mercy to us and is showing mercy to us every day by opening our ears and our eyes to hear and see. This is abiding in age-abiding life that is also called life eternal [John 17:3].

Mat 13:16 But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear.

Mat 13:17 For verily I say unto you, That many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them.

We grieve, yet we rejoice as we take hold of the Promise of age-abiding life that has been given to us. We live all these experiences as Paul writes about. We live this spiritually.

2Co 6:4  But in all things approving ourselves as the ministers of God, in much patience, in afflictions, in necessities, in distresses,

2Co 6:5  In stripes, in imprisonments, in tumults, in labours, in watchings, in fastings;

2Co 6:6  By pureness, by knowledge, by longsuffering, by kindness, by the Holy Ghost, by love unfeigned,

2Co 6:7  By the word of truth, by the power of God, by the armour of righteousness on the right hand and on the left,

2Co 6:8  By honour and dishonour, by evil report and good report: as deceivers, and yet true;

2Co 6:9  As unknown, and yet well known; as dying, and, behold, we live; as chastened, and not killed;

2Co 6:10  As sorrowful, yet alway rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things.

Knowing what the second death means and that the new man, Christ in us, the Hope of Glory, is the result of going through the Lake of Fire brings great clarity to what the Lord and the Apostles meant when they said, ” Go and preach the Gospel”. The second death is the Lake of Fire [LOF], and the new man is not hurt by it.

Mar 16:16  He that believeth and is baptized [with the fire in LOF] shall be saved; but he that believeth not [no LOF for me or you] shall be damned.

2Ti 4:2  Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.

2Ti 4:3  For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;

We have the Baptism of John, where we are given the water of the Word, the Commandments, and the true knowledge of God, that washes us and causes us to seek repentance. Paul and all of Christ’s disciples in every age are now being sent to preach the Gospel after the Comforter comes to them.

1Co 1:17  For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect.

1Co 1:18  For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.

1Co 2:2  For I determined not to know anything among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.

We receive the Baptism of John and give birth to the man-child in us. The man-child is the mind of Christ. The Commandments of Christ is the mind of Christ. One greater than John, the Lord from heaven, IS come and now quickens our Spirits and opens up the revelation of His Word. The Comforter coming to us is the revelation of Christ Jesus, which was a mystery but is now made known to the sons of God in this age and in every age since Christ.

Rev 12:5  And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.

Rom 16:25  Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began,

Rom 16:26  But now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith:

Christ’s second coming spiritually is the Lake of Fire coming, which is the event that henceforth saves and raises us with Christ.

Mat 3:11  I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:

Mat 3:12  Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.

Heb 9:28  So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin [spiritually] unto salvation.

The coming of Christ the second time to open our eyes to see and ears to hear brings the fire that is, was, and will be, saving us from now on.

1Co 1:23  But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness;

1Co 15:31  I protest by your rejoicing which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily.

The Gospel is the fire of God’s Living Word, operating within us. It is Christ in us, the Hope of Glory, performing His Work in us. Such is how our minds are being renewed day by day, and we put on the mind of Christ. The natural man, the first Adam, is being destroyed in order for us to become like the wind, that is to say, to be born again. The Gospel, Christ the Lord from heaven that we preach, is tidings of great joy.

Luk 2:10  And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.

Nah 1:15  Behold upon the mountains the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace! O Judah, keep thy solemn feasts, perform thy vows: for the wicked shall no more pass through thee; he is utterly cut off.

The preaching of the cross, that is to say, the preaching to die daily with Christ, is the preaching of the true Gospel. There are many false gospels in the world.

Rom 6:3  Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?

Rom 6:4  Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

Gal 1:6  I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:

Gal 1:7  Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.

Gal 1:8  But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. Gal 1:9  As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.

It is dying to self, dying to our carnal minds, abiding in the Lake of Fire that is the judgment necessary to destroy the man of sin within us and raise up Christ in his stead. Preachers of the Gospel are the angels of the Lord who receive the rain ordained for them, who now faithfully preach the Commandments, the Good News. Life through the second death [dying daily] is the heart of the Good News that the angels bring. The angels pull people out of the strange fire that is spiritual Babylon within, preaching life through the second death message, which torments and ultimately kills the first Adam within, that is to say, the carnal reasoning of accusing and excusing within ourselves [Jude 1:21-23].

Rev 14:6  And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,

Rev 14:7  Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.

Rev 14:8  And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.

2Co 6:14  Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

2Co 6:15  And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?

2Co 6:16  And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

2Co 6:17  Wherefore come out from among them [Babylon], and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,

2Co 6:18  And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

We are beyond blessed in this age when we hear His Voice, His Commandments, from heaven and follow Him to death on the cross, which is the second death, which is the Lake of Fire.

Rev 14:13  And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.

Heb 4:9  There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God.

Heb 4:10  For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.

We are drinking from the cup of the wrath of God on the first Adam and die to death. This is the everlasting Gospel. Now hearing the Gospel of Life through death, we hunker down, knowing what has already come upon our earth as we abide in the Lake of Fire in this age.

1Pe 4:1  Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin;

1Pe 4:2  That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God.

1Pe 4:5  Who shall give account to him that is ready to judge the quick and the dead.

1Pe 4:6  For this cause was the gospel preached also to them that are (spiritually) dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit.

1Pe 4:7  But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.

It is a lonely road, and few travel on it. The Gospel we preach is the same unchangeable Gospel that always brings much contention from carnal men [the lies within] and the outwardly religious.

1Th 2:1  For yourselves, brethren, know our entrance in unto you, that it was not in vain:

1Th 2:2  But even after that we had suffered before, and were shamefully entreated, as ye know, at Philippi, we were bold in our God to speak unto you the gospel of God with much contention.

1Th 2:3  For our exhortation was not of deceit, nor of uncleanness, nor in guile:

1Th 2:4  But as we were allowed of God to be put in trust with the gospel, even so we speak; not as pleasing men, but God, which trieth our hearts.

1Th 2:5  For neither at any time used we flattering words, as ye know, nor a cloke of covetousness; God is witness:

1Th 2:6  Nor of men sought we glory, neither of you, nor yet of others, when we might have been burdensome, as the apostles of Christ.

The Apostles’ authority to preach the Gospel is always challenged and rejected by the chief priests of Jerusalem, who reject those who speak truth in love and, in turn, persecute those who bring the Gospel.

Luk 20:1  And it came to pass, that on one of those days, as he taught the people in the temple, and preached the gospel, the chief priests and the scribes came upon him with the elders,

3Jn 1:9  I wrote unto the church: but Diotrephes, who loveth to have the preeminence among them, receiveth us not.

3Jn 1:10  Wherefore, if I come, I will remember his deeds which he doeth, prating against us with malicious words: and not content therewith, neither doth he himself receive the brethren, and forbiddeth them that would, and casteth them out of the church.

Like our Lord, Christ Jesus, sons of God are being rejected even by those who are near and dear. The natural man within every man cannot receive the things of the Spirit. The Psalmist writing in Ps 41 is a shadow of what the sons of God are experiencing to this day, being rejected by all men [by the lies within] and by carnal men without.

Psa 41:9  Yea, mine own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, which did eat of my bread, hath lifted up his heel against me.

Psa 41:10  But thou, O LORD, be merciful unto me, and raise me up, that I may requite them.

Mar 10:33  Saying, Behold, we go up to Jerusalem; and the Son of man shall be delivered unto the chief priests, and unto the scribes; and they shall condemn him to death, and shall deliver him to the Gentiles:

Mar 10:34  And they shall mock him, and shall scourge him, and shall spit upon him, and shall kill him: and the third day he shall rise again.

Those who have not been given eyes to see and ears to hear reject the true message of the Gospel of Christ that is being preached to them. Christ experiences it in His day:

Mat 23:37  O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!

Mat 23:38  Behold, your house is left unto you desolate.

Mat 23:39  For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.

Heb 4:2  For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.

Sons of God no longer walk by sight and no longer know any man after the flesh. They are about doing the Lord’s work and striving to obey all of His Commandments and to preach the Gospel of Life through death to our inward nations and to all who receive us without.

2Co 4:3  But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:

2Co 4:4  In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

2Co 4:5  For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus’ sake.

2Co 5:21  For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

We pray that we stay faithful to preach the Gospel to every living creature under the sun, within ourselves and those without. Like our Lord, children of God are being sent; you, the reader, if you have eyes to see and ears to hear, are being sent.

Luk 4:43  And he said unto them, I must preach the kingdom of God to other cities also: for therefore am I sent.

Luk 4:44  And he preached in the synagogues of Galilee.

Mar 16:20  And they went forth, and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.

Commandments

Commandments in the Church: R through W

The Commands of Christ Jesus, the power of an endless Life

Rohnel, and my beloved husband, Peter, servants of God and Christ, unto the twelve tribes scattered in the world beloved of God, called to be saints, to the little children and to the faithful: Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Eph 1:3  Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:

Eph 1:4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:

Psa 103:20  Bless the LORD, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word.

Psa 103:21  Bless ye the LORD, all ye his hosts; ye ministers of his, that do his pleasure.

Psa 103:22  Bless the LORD, all his works in all places of his dominion: bless the LORD, O my soul.

Adorning the Gospel of Christ

Deu 26:17  Thou hast avouched the LORD this day to be thy God, and to walk in his ways, and to keep his statutes, and his commandments, and his judgments, and to hearken unto his voice:

Deu 26:18  And the LORD hath avouched thee this day to be his peculiar people, as he hath promised thee, and that thou shouldest keep all his commandments;

Deu 26:19  And to make thee high above all nations which he hath made, in praise, and in name, and in honour; and that thou mayest be an holy people unto the LORD thy God, as he hath spoken.

Joh 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.

Joh 14:21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

Commandments in the Church R-W

Herewith are the Commandments of our Lord, Jesus Christ, as written in the Church and given by His Apostles in alphabetical order [my own] R-W. Some Commandments overlap in other letters; some are left out here, but after reading all the letters written regarding the Commandments of ChristJesus, one will know their sum. These Commandments are the Bread of Life we eat daily, making us wise unto salvation. Also, some Commandments carry a lot of Scriptures, and it is safe for us to read them all, binding them as a sign upon our hands so they may be frontlets between our eyes.

RECEIVE THE WEAK IN THE FAITH

We discussed this Command in other studies. The short and sweet of it is this: Let us take, for example, the keeping of days, months, and years. Members in our Assembly still struggle with not keeping days, months, and years, and still do not understand the deeper symbolism of engaging in this heathen practice. We receive them as our brothers and sisters in Christ, but do not argue with them that keeping days is wrong. The weak in the faith must accept that the matter is so and that the Lord will open their hearts and minds to truly understand this in their appointed times and seasons, Lord-willing. Wait on the Lord to open your eyes and to open your ears. Wait on the Lord to give you the overcoming, the faith to make a stand, and not to keep days, months, and years, that is to say, not to keep the traditions of men. A recent study on the truthinscripture.com website discusses the keeping of days, months, and years in depth, with many Scriptures explaining what it means.  Keeping Days, Months, and Years

The takeaway from this Commandment, to receive the weak in the Faith, but not argue about established truth, is that we belong to the Lord and live and die unto the Lord. Let us rather be joyful to keep the Commandments of the Lord and call His Sabbath [obeying His Commandments] a delight. The elders and rulership that the Lord established in the Church gently lead the flock, and the flock follows because we have the Word of Truth. We all need to examine ourselves and see if our consciences are clear towards God and Christ regarding each other. We do not judge the ones still keeping days, but show and encourage them to overcome, and those keeping days should not despise the ones teaching them. To our own Master, which is Christ, we stand or fall. Thus, we have one clear example of how we deal with each other, receiving each other but not engaging in doubtful disputations about established doctrine.

Rom 14:1  Him that is weak in the Faith receive ye, but not to doubtful disputations.

Rom 14:2  For one believeth that he may eat all things: another, who is weak, eateth herbs.

Rom 14:3  Let not him that eateth despise him that eateth not; and let not him which eateth not judge him that eateth: for God hath received him.

Rom 14:4  Who art thou that judgest another man’s servant?  to his own Master he standeth or falleth.  Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand.

Rom 14:5  One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike.  Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind.

Rom 14:6  He that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto the Lord; and he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord he doth not regard it.  He that eateth, eateth to the Lord, for he giveth God thanks; and he that eateth not, to the Lord he eateth not, and giveth God thanks.

Rom 14:7  For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself.

Rom 14:8  For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord’s.

Rom 14:9  For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living.

Rom 14:10  But why dost thou judge thy brother?  or why dost thou set at nought thy brother?  for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.

REDEEM THE TIME

We are commanded to redeem the time. Why? Because we do not know what the day of tomorrow brings, and the days are evil. Will we have a tomorrow? Will we be healthy enough to do all we set out to do? Will our circumstances change? Will there be another opportunity to study and obey, or will we miss our time of Visitation by the Lord? How much time does the world steal from us, and how quickly are we drawn away by the vanities of this world and by people who do not have the mind of Christ? Be circumspect and count the cost, walk as children of Light. Do business until the Lord comes, do not neglect your earthly duties, and walk honestly towards those outside the Faith of Christ. Be very jealous and zealous with your time because time waits for no man; before we know it, we fly away. The Psalmist writes, Remember how short my time is: wherefore hast thou made all men in vain?  And Solomon writes Whoso keepeth the commandment shall feel no evil thing: and a wise man’s heart discerneth both time and judgment. Are we wise to take heed? Ask the Lord to put a zeal for His Word in your hearts and minds.

Eph 5:15  See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,

Eph 5:16  Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.

Eph 5:17 Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.

Col 4:5 Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time.

REJOICE

Rejoice in the Lord always, who saves us from such a great death. We rejoice in our salvation. Rejoice because the Lord has given us eternal life [aionios] and forgives all our sins and remembers them no more. Rejoice because He has given us exceedingly great and precious Promises. Rejoice because we are His peculiar people, chosen from all peoples on the face of the earth. We rejoice because we remember Christ and the Father’s love for us. They have given us garments of salvation, and a robe of righteousness, and have turned our sorrow into joy. We rejoice because even if we are hard pressed on every side, the joy of the Lord is our strength. We rejoice because the enemy has no power over us anymore. We rejoice because now we live, if we are steadfast, not moving away from the Faith of Christ, and we are with Christ now in down payment. Rejoicing and giving thanks go hand in hand, and the Father is well pleased when we are thankful.

We are also commanded to rejoice with those who rejoice and weep with those who weep. Why do we rejoice with those who rejoice and weep with those who weep?  Because we all live by every Word coming out of the mouth of God. We look back at our own walk and remember the blessings and sorrows so we may comfort and rejoice with those coming after us. We know what it is all about on this road, which is far less travelled than one can ever imagine.

Php 3:1  Finally, my brethren, rejoice in the Lord.  To write the same things to you, to me indeed is not grievous, but for you it is safe.

Php 4:4  Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.

Rom 12:15  Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep.

REMEMBER THOSE IN BONDS

To be in bonds is to be in prison, which Paul was physically and spiritually. Spiritually speaking, we are in bonds for the Gospel’s sake. We are bought with a price, with the Blood of Christ Jesus, and as such, when we preach or do the Gospel, we are hated by all men. The natural man in everyone hates Christ, even within ourselves.

We endure many afflictions and persecutions for the sake of Christ in us, the Hope of Glory. We need many prayers to speak boldly and without fear, knowing that we are being counted as evil doers. Paul wrote to remember them who are in bonds, those who are Christ’s servants. Are you in bonds for Christ? Rather be Christ’s bondservant than a slave to the natural man. Paul was always persecuted preaching the Gospel, be prepared to die daily, that is to say, be prepared to lay our lives down for the Gospel’s sake, to do the Commandments of Christ. This is our righteousness before God and Christ. We always fill up what is behind in the afflictions of Christ for His Body’s sake.

1Co 7:22  For he that is called in the Lord, being a servant, is the Lord’s freeman: likewise also he that is called, being free, is Christ’s servant.

1Co 7:23  Ye are bought with a price; be not ye the servants of men.

1Co 7:24  Brethren, let every man, wherein he is called, therein abide with God.

Eph 6:20  For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.

Php 1:14  And many of the brethren in the Lord, waxing confident by my bonds, are much more bold to speak the word without fear.

Col 4:3  Withal praying also for us, that God would open unto us a door of utterance, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in bonds:

Col 4:18  The salutation by the hand of me Paul.  Remember my bonds. Grace be with you.  Amen.  Written from Rome to Colossians by Tychicus and Onesimus.

2Ti 2:8  Remember that Jesus Christ of the seed of David was raised from the dead according to my Gospel:

2Ti 2:9  Wherein I suffer trouble, as an evil doer, even unto bonds; but the word of God is not bound.

2Ti 2:10  Therefore I endure all things for the elect’s sakes, that they may also obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.

Heb 13:3 Remember them that are in bonds, as bound with them; and them which suffer adversity, as being yourselves also in the body.

REPENT

Without repentance, the process of being made into the image of Christ does not start. We have to see ourselves as sinners in need of a Saviour before we can stop sinning. If we are blind, we do not know we need a Saviour. The Baptism of John, a Baptism of Repentance, is when the Lord gives us mercy to see ourselves as sinners and how far we strayed from His Commandments, forgetting Him in pursuit of our spiritual riches without Him, thinking we have already arrived. The Gospel preached now is for our salvation and starts with repentance. Breaking Bread is how we see and hear, meaning we study to show ourselves approved. We read and assemble to eat the Lord’s Supper; this is how the Lord appears to us in breaking Bread.

In the Gospels, Christ often tells us to repent because the Kingdom of Heaven, the Comforter, or Holy Spirit is near, even at the door. Today, if we hear His Voice, repent and turn.

Act 2:38  Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Act 2:39  For the Promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

Act 3:19  Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;

REWARD

We have a reward in Christ and many glorious Promises. Our reward is knowing the Father and Son and having life aionios [eternal]. We are being given life now in down payment form, and when we physically leave these vessels of clay, we are immediately with the Lord.  We do not die anymore. Our sins are forgiven, and we are given dominion over sin in the Day of the Lord. What a wonderful Promise.

We are commanded not to let any man, symbolic of a lie, beguile us of our reward in Christ. Do not listen to any lies, fables, vain words, imaginings, dreams, and so forth telling you that we cannot obtain salvation by believing in Christ, keeping His Commandments. Salvation does not come through spiritual riches or good deeds we are doing. Yes, it is needful to do good deeds and to have knowledge. We need knowledge to be able to speak with the enemies of Christ at the gate, the gainsayers and liars, and the ability to teach spiritual Jews and spiritual Gentiles the doctrines of Christ. Still, the bottom line is this: Have the Faith of Christ through the Baptism of John and keep Christ’s Commandments, which is what is saving our souls. Do not let anyone tell you otherwise. You have been warned to take heed. Christ is doing all; take comfort. The Promises of God will, Lord-willing, be discussed in a later letter/post. Hold fast to your crown, your reward, and hold fast to Christ and His Christ. Tarry in spiritual Jerusalem. The Lord has placed His Name here in our fellowship and on the www.truthinscripture.com website. We are to go where the Gospel, the Lord’s Name, is preached and can be heard.

Col 2:16  Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:

Col 2:17  Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.

Col 2:18  Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind,

Col 2:19 And not holding the Head, from which all the body by joints and bands having nourishment ministered, and knit together, increaseth with the increase of God.

Php 3:8  Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,

Php 3:9  And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the Faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by Faith:

Php 3:10 That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;

Php 3:13  Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,

Php 3:14  I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

Php 3:15 Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you.

RUN THE RACE

Once we have received the Promise, the pistol has been fired, and the race is begun. We run the race, forgetting what is behind, reaching out to the things before us. We have to stay faithful to the end. For those who received the Promise, the true Israel of God, there is no turning back, and the Lord is able to make us stand and not fall backwards. We run the race set before us and are commanded to let go of the sins that so easily beset us. In this Day, we have to guard ourselves more than ever before, to live holy and acceptable unto the Lord. We run to get the prize of the high calling in Christ, which is Christ in us, the Hope of Glory. For those still in the womb waiting on the Promise, enjoy your days being engaged to be married to Christ. Each step of the process is holy and a journey to remember and appreciate because of everything the Lord is doing for us. You have been called and chosen. The Bride is making herself ready for the Bridegroom. See that you have enough oil in your lamp.

1Co 9:24 Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize?  So run, that ye may obtain.

Heb 12:1 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,

SIN NO MORE

When we sin, we are not able to bridle our tongues. We are not in the rest, that is the Commandments of Jesus Christ. To have thoughts running to and fro, speaking evil, judging, and accusing and excusing thoughts within ourselves is sinning; it is lawlessness. Carnal thoughts lead to sin, and sin leads to spiritual death. Do not be fooled; anything that looks evil is evil in the Lord’s Book. We are commanded to be slow to wrath, that is to say, to keep our tongues in check within ourselves and with what we are saying. To keep our tongues in check is to lay our lives down, which is to lay down the pride of life. That is how we love everybody in this world, laying our lives down.

Our biggest struggle is within ourselves, which is to take our thoughts captive and replace them with the Commandments of Christ. We have David, the Psalmist, as an example of always magnifying the Lord in all ways. When evil thoughts come, it is good to stop and start praising the Lord, thanking Him for His goodness to all humanity. It is good to sing Psalms in our hearts. Thankful hearts do not leave much room for evil speaking or judging others within ourselves. Our daily prayer is not to lead us into temptation but to deliver us from evil.

Spiritual murderers and thieves are all of us at first, stealing God’s Glory through our disobedience and murdering the righteous One, that is to say Christ [the Commandments] within ourselves. We are this man, but Christ is giving us overcoming and IS overcome the world every day. Believe it.

Rom 6:11  Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Rom 6:12  Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.

Rom 6:13 Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.

1Co 15:31  I protest by your rejoicing which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily.

1Co 15:32  If after the manner of men I have fought with beasts at Ephesus, what advantageth it me, if the dead rise not?  let us eat and drink; for to morrow we die.

1Co 15:33  Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.

1Co 15:34 Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.

1Th 5:22 Abstain from all appearance of evil.

Jas 1:19  Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:

Jas 1:20  For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.

Jas 1:21 Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.

Jas 1:26  If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man’s religion is vain.

Jas 4:7  Submit yourselves therefore to God.  Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

1Pe 2:12  Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation.

1Pe 3:10  For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile:

1Pe 4:15  But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men’s matters.

1Jn 2:1  My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not.  And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:

3Jn 1:11  Beloved, follow not that which is evil, but that which is good.  He that doeth good is of God: but he that doeth evil hath not seen God.

SPEAK

The mouth speaks when the heart is full. After the Comforter comes, we immediately rise and preach the Gospel to ourselves and those who want to hear us. David, the man after God’s own heart, writes: I will praise thee, O LORD, with my whole heart; I will shew forth all thy marvellous works. Thy testimonies have I taken as an heritage for ever: for they are the rejoicing of my heart.

David is a type and shadow of us, showing others the marvellous Gospel of Christ Jesus.

We have heard and believed and therefore speak. Do not be ashamed of the Gospel, speak. Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks.

2Co 4:13 We having the same spirit of Faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;

1Ti 2:7  Whereunto I am ordained a preacher, and an apostle, I speak the truth in Christ, and lie not; a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and verity.

SPEECH

Speak the Commandments of Christ, and we can never go wrong. Let God the Father and Christ Jesus be glorified in our speech, which is what we pray for. Worship Them and let praise and song come out of our mouths like David, the Psalmist, a man after God’s heart. Following after David, we pray that no corrupt word comes out of our mouths, that our speech would be acceptable unto the Lord, and that we will speak with wisdom and understanding.

We are living after Christ’s example. Here is how the Lord’s Doctrine/Speech is described in the book of Deuteronomy in a parable:

My doctrine shall drop as the rain, my speech shall distil as the dew, as the small rain upon the tender herb, and as the showers upon the grass: Because I will publish the name of the LORD: ascribe ye greatness unto our God. He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he.

We are the tender herbs and those who hear us [Christ in us, the Hope of Glory]. Newborn babes and the little children of God are those who hear Christ’s Speech.

The Scriptures below speak for themselves. Life and death is in our tongues. What we say comes from our hearts, and we know that our hearts are desperately wicked. Who can know it? Therefore, we take thoughts captive even in our own speeches, we have within ourselves, and replace them with the mind of Christ. These tempting thoughts are the spiritual wickedness, principalities, and powers that exalt themselves against Christ, but we take comfort, Christ has overcome the world, that is to say, our thought life within.

Eph 4:29  Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.

Eph 5:4  Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks.

Col 4:6  Let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.

Tit 2:8  Sound speech, that cannot be condemned; that he that is of the contrary part may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say of you.

1Pe 4:11  If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever.  Amen.

STAY IN YOUR CALLING

There is the Command not to get circumcised or not to get uncircumcised. What does it mean? To become spiritually circumcised is to become very knowledgeable in the Scriptures through years of study. The reason why the Lord has some of us in circumcision, we are the spiritual Jews, is because by His design, we are the ones looking and watching after the sheep. Thus, we must be able to speak with other spiritual Jews of the false spiritual circumcision, to defeat the lies in them and see that they do not devour the flock of God. For this reason, some of us have this gift. Uncircumcision means not having these years of studies and knowledge under the belt, but these sheep have the name of the Father, that is to say, the mind of Christ in their foreheads.

Now here is the thing: all that counts to become like Christ is to be made anew, and only His Commandments can do or achieve that. Thus, stay as you are; you are perfect in the place the Lord has you, who are reading today. Wait for the Lord, be in His Word, repent and turn from your sins, and ask for the Holy Spirit daily.

Do not try to become circumcised or uncircumcised. All this is saying in a parable is that we have to have the Faith of Christ, proven by our works [obedience] to become new, the Lord doing all. The more you are in Christ, the more you see that there is absolutely no boasting in Christ. He is the Head of His Church, doing all. The cross of Christ, dying daily to keep His Commandments, is all that matters. Peace be on the true Israel of God. Our circumcision is the true spiritual circumcision of the heart. The physical circumcision of the Jews in Israel is a shadow of the true circumcision of the heart. There is also a false circumcision, which are spiritual Jews, much learned, but they are the Pharisees and Sadducees who are hypocrites doing lip service to Christ. Beware of these mockers. We were all Pharisees and Sadducees in our appointed times, but we are set free when the Chief Shepherd appears. Stay in your calling.

Gal 6:12  As many as desire to make a fair shew in the flesh, they constrain you to be circumcised; only lest they should suffer persecution for the cross of Christ.

Gal 6:13  For neither they themselves who are circumcised keep the law; but desire to have you circumcised, that they may glory in your flesh.

Gal 6:14  But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.

Gal 6:15  For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature.

Gal 6:16  And as many as walk according to this rule, peace be on them, and mercy, and upon the Israel of God.

Gal 6:17 From henceforth let no man trouble me: for I bear in my body the marks of the Lord Jesus.

STEADFAST

Stand fast, stand steadfast, be worthy of the high calling in Christ. We are commanded not to go to the right or to the left [reasoning within ourselves] but eyes fixed on Christ, to move forward, to forget what is behind us, to stretch forth to what is in front of us. We see Paul encouraging Timothy, whom he begat in Spirit, to keep the Commandments spotless until Christ appears [we grow into this appearing of Christ, those of us that were sealed with the Holy Spirit of Promise]. The admonition and comfort is to hold fast to what we have heard from the beginning and remember from whom we have heard it. Even as Paul wrote to the Corinthians, reminding them they have many instructors in Christ, though only one father in the Gospel, why is that? Because Christ in Paul begat the Corinthian Church in the Gospel. Thus, remember who begat you in the Gospel and hold fast to what they taught and are teaching you. Do not go to the left or to the right on your own, through your own devices; that is your reasoning. Only our Teacher of righteousness, Christ, can tell us to go left or right, as it is written in the Prophets. This is the positive application of going to the left or going to the right.

We take heed and keep the Commandments unrebukable until Christ appears to us, going from glory to glory. Growing into the Grace of God is a fiery process; we live daily. Not being swayed away from the Commandments, believing and doing them, we live and hold fast unto age-abiding [“aionios”] life. Many fall away at this stage of fighting the good fight of the Faith of Christ. Our adversary, the devil, within each of us, tempts us day and night. We have to watch, and we have to be on the lookout. Stay steadfast in what you have heard from the beginning. The Lord promised to ground and settle us after we have suffered for a while.

1Co 16:13  Watch ye, stand fast in the Faith, quit you like men, be strong.

Eph 4:1  I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called,

Php 4:1 Therefore, my brethren dearly beloved and longed for, my joy and crown, so stand fast in the Lord, my dearly beloved.

1Th 3:8 For now we live, if ye stand fast in the Lord.

2Th 2:15 Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle.

1Ti 1:18  This charge I commit unto thee, son Timothy, according to the prophecies which went before on thee, that thou by them mightest war a good warfare;

1Ti 1:19 Holding faith, and a good conscience; which some having put away concerning faith have made shipwreck:

Ti 6:12  Fight the good fight of Faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.

1Ti 6:13  I give thee charge in the sight of God, who quickeneth all things, and before Christ Jesus, who before Pontius Pilate witnessed a good confession;

1Ti 6:14 That thou keep this commandment without spot, unrebukeable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ:

2Ti 1:13  Hold fast the form of sound words, which thou hast heard of me, in Faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.

2Ti 1:14 That good thing which was committed unto thee keep by the Holy Ghost which dwelleth in us.

2Ti 2:1  Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.

2Ti 2:2 And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.

2Ti 3:14  But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them;

2Ti 3:15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through Faith which is in Christ Jesus.

1Pe 5:8  Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

1Pe 5:9 Whom resist stedfast in the Faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.

STUDY

We have discussed the Command to study and to be in the Word in other letters. We do it again. It is so important to understand. Whilst the Gentiles do not have to become circumcised, that is to say, become scholars and study the deep things of the Word, as the spiritual Jews do, it is also true that if you do not study or read at home, your poverty will surely come. You will miss and not discern your time of Visitation, that is to say, you will miss the Comforter. The Lord reveals Himself in the Scriptures. He is not coming in the physical clouds. The Lord’s Words are spiritual. How will you prepare and be washed clean from all the false doctrines in your heavens if you do not study or eat at home? Read all this spiritually. The Bride has to make herself ready before the Bridegroom comes. Are you prepared for the wedding feast? Do your own business, eat at home, labour with your own hands, and steal no more are spiritual words to tell us to study and read the Word. Have enough oil in your lamp. Ask the Lord for a zeal to do this.

Eph 4:28  Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth.

1Th 4:11  And that ye study to be quiet, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you;

1Th 4:12  That ye may walk honestly toward them that are without, and that ye may have lack of nothing.

2Th 3:10  For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat.

2Th 3:11  For we hear that there are some which walk among you disorderly, working not at all, but are busybodies.

2Th 3:12  Now them that are such we command and exhort by our Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness they work, and eat their own Bread.

1Ti 4:13  Till I come, give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine.

1Ti 4:14  Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the presbytery.

1Ti 4:15  Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all.

1Ti 4:16  Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee.

2Ti 2:15  Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

TAKE HEED

The Scriptures below warn us not to depart from the Living God, that is, the Gospel we now hear for the first time, our ears being opened. There is no turning back if we forsake the Lord at this stage. Maybe a brother by the Lord’s design can pull us out of the fire, hating our defiled clothes, but if there is a root of bitterness springing up into our hearts, we will be defiled unless we repent. A root of bitterness is not to let go of our previous mindsets, being the rich young ruler that could not enter into the Kingdom of God because he could not let go of his riches in spirit to follow after Christ. There was no fruit leading to godly repentance. It is hard for a rich man to enter into the Kingdom of God. Think spiritually.

We build on Christ and Christ only, not another man’s foundation. We do not let these things slip; we have a race to run. It is not over till it is over. We have to be faithful. We are commanded to remind each other of this, and this is loving our brothers fervently. Do not deny the Lord, He will deny you. Be obedient to His Commandments; it is the end of our faith and the salvation of our souls. Let these Commandments sink into our hearts and minds every day.

1Co 3:9  For we are labourers together with God: ye are God’s husbandry, ye are God’s building.

1Co 3:10  According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon.  But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon.

1Co 3:11  For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

1Co 3:16  Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

1Co 3:17  If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.

Heb 2:1  Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip.

Heb 3:7  Wherefore (as the Holy Ghost saith, To day if ye will hear his voice,

Heb 3:8  Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness:

Heb 3:12  Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.

Heb 3:13  But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.

Heb 3:14  For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end;

Heb 4:1  Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it.

Heb 12:25  See that ye refuse not him that speaketh.  For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven:

Jas 1:22  But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

Jas 2:14  What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath Faith, and have not works?  can Faith save him?

Jas 2:26  For as the body without the spirit is dead, so Faith without works is dead also.

1Jn 3:8  He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning.  For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

THE DAY OF THE LORD

Alas, the Day of the Lord. Who is able to stand? The Day of the Lord is our Day of Judgement when the Comforter comes to us and turns everything upside down. Everything we believed in, things we have long forgotten, and things we do not know, are made manifest in this Day. It is a sad Day for the old natural man within us and a glorious Day for the new man being formed in us. The Lord gives us lots of time to repent beforehand and is long-suffering with us. He wants to find us spotless when He comes. This Day comes unexpectedly, and we are told in the Scriptures to watch and not enter into temptation. Much is written about this Day in the Prophets. Think spiritually, not outwardly, about this Day. Think spiritually about God’s Word.

In this spiritual day, the Lord has brought us out of Egypt, from the bondage of sin, to enter into His true Sabbath, where no work is done with the carnal mind, and only glorious rest is in Christ’s Commandments. In this Day, we have become the Lord’s people, and this is the Day He marries us and gives us His Name. His Name is His Commandments living inside of us. No lie teaches us in the Day of the Lord, but we stay in the anointing of the Holy Spirit that now lives in our hearts. In this Day, we are all one in Christ, not before. Before, there is still Jew and Gentile, bondservant and free man in Christ, being under tutors and governors, waiting for the Promise, the anointing of the Lord’s Spirit to come. Once the Lord comes, we are all One in Christ.

The Day of the Lord brings a conscience towards God and Christ, and immediate knowledge when we sin. Sin no longer has dominion over us as we live in the power of the Gospel that brings salvation. We have become the head and not the tail within and without. In the Day of the Lord, we deal Bread to the hungry and cover the naked within and without. Much more can be said about this Day; if the Lord wills, there may be a letter on this soon.

Get ready for this glorious Day. There is none like it.  See your sin, repent, study, wash yourself clean, ask for the Holy Spirit, and wait. It is the greatest honour bestowed upon any man, and that is to say to see the Lord’s Face. Even Moses and David could not see the Lord’s Face and longed for it. We grow into this Day into His Grace after the former and latter rain came, and now we truly walk by the Faith of Christ. We go from glory to glory, from Faith to Faith. What blessing! What a delight!

Rom 1:17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from Faith to Faith: as it is written, The just shall live by Faith.

2Pe 3:3  Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,

2Pe 3:4  And saying, Where is the Promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.

2Pe 3:9  The Lord is not slack concerning his Promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

2Pe 3:10  But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

2Pe 3:11  Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,

2Pe 3:14  Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.

2Pe 3:15  And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you;

2Pe 3:17  Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness.

2Pe 3:18  But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.  To him be glory both now and for ever.  Amen.

THINK ON THESE THINGS

We cannot serve two tables. Our hearts can only serve one. We ourselves know for a fact that carnal pursuits draw us away from Christ. Remember Christ cleans us up, and now, after we have been cleaned up, if the wrong spirit enters us, it brings along seven other evil spirits. Read this for yourselves in the Gospels. We rather pursue spiritual riches that endure forever, the treasures in heaven that do not pass away.

What are the true, honest, just, lovely, things of good report, virtuous, and praiseworthy things? Is it not even the Scriptures? Consider David, the Psalmist, praising God all day as a song in our hearts. What about the Proverbs of Solomon, making us wise? What about reading of our Bridegroom in type and shadow in the Song of Solomon? Once we read with spiritual eyes, everything makes sense. What about the Prophets? Here we see the Lord speaking to us about forgetting Him. We give heed to prophecies until He comes. What is virtuous to read to you? The Lord will lead you into reading what you need to read. He wastes nothing.

What about all things new, a renewing mindset, finding great peace, understanding, and wisdom in the teachings of Christ? Christ is the Commandments of the Father. We were created for Them, to show forth Their Glory.

Ask Christ to guide you into reading His Word. Stay in His Word, never forgetting to eat the Bread of life, that is to say, never forget about His Law, His Commandments. Meditate upon Christ, and we become like well-watered trees in His Garden, planted by the rivers of living water that bring forth fruit in their seasons whose leaves never wither. Everything we do prospers in the Lord’s hands.

Php 4:8  Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

Col 3:1  If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.

Col 3:2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.

WALK IN THE DAY

Walk in the Day. We have heard the Gospel and are no longer in the dark. We no longer spend our time chasing knowledge that does not profit us. The Lord is near, and the night is far spent; thus, we are clearly instructed on what to do. See your sins, be honest with yourself. You need Christ Jesus to take away your sins, repent, stop doing them, be in the Word, clean and sanctify yourself from all the lies, and wait for the Lord. Ask and it shall be given to you. Ask for the Holy Spirit and do not stop asking. Stop wasting your time with things that cannot save your soul. The Law of Liberty, Christ’s Law, converts our souls. We have no excuse; the Gospel was and is being preached, and the Scriptures teach that the end of the world has come upon us. Once again, spiritual words.

The time for judgment is now on the people of God. We are the children of Light and come out of spiritual Babylon, where everybody sleeps deeply. Be comforted, the Lord works all things after the counsel of His will. The fact that you are reading this is already a great mercy shown to you by the Father and Christ.

Rom 13:11  And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.

Rom 13:12  The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.

Rom 13:13  Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying.

Rom 13:14  But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.

WATCH

To watch and to discern is to watch yourself, and see if you are in the Faith of Christ. Why? Because the Lord is near, nearer than you think. He is standing at the door. Will He find Faith when He comes? Be sober with a sound mind and not be occupied with vain things. The Lord is coming to you, and you will not know the time of His Visitation; thus watch. Do not be carried away with strange doctrines, other Gospels, foolish questions, and endless genealogies. The Gospel was preached to you; take heed, believe, and do. Only a small remnant escapes the pollution of the world.

The Lord has prepared a wedding feast of the best there is to give. He is inviting you. Are you too busy with the world’s cares to hear His Voice? Read the parable of the Wedding Feast and watch. Do not make light of this feast. Are you worthy to sit at His table? Pray for the Lord to make you worthy.

1Th 5:1  But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you.

1Th 5:2  For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.

1Th 5:6  Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.

1Th 5:7  For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night.

1Th 5:8 But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of Faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.

The Commandments of Christ Jesus in the Four Gospels, the Commandments of Christ Jesus regarding our assembling together as His Church, the Commandments of Christ Jesus regarding Marriage, Divorce, Husbands, Wives, and Other, plus the five letters containing the Commandments of Christ Jesus, given by the Apostles in the Church, can be found on Truthinscripture.com at this link. Commandments

Many ask what the Commandments are, and we pray that after reading all of the above, the reader will better understand what the Will of God, the Father, through His Son, Christ Jesus, is, and that is to love, by keeping the Commandments.

Receive ye the Gospel.  Receive ye the Holy Spirit.
