Commandment Short Studies

Peter and Rohnel, servants of God, to those being sanctified in Christ Jesus,

The Lord is made known to disciples through the breaking of the Bread of Life that are His Commandments. The Lord’s people gather together and partake of communion with the Lord’s bread and wine; we do this so we remember Him. This is a parable for us to remember and do the Commandments.

Luk 22:19  And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me.

The Commandments of Christ are what wash us clean, and thus we only need our feet to be cleaned continually once we bathe in the Gospel that is the Living Commandments we are earnestly seeking and studying. Those waiting for the Promise are gathering in Jerusalem with the saints and preparing themselves by meditating on the Commandments, which is the Apostle’s doctrine given to them by Christ.

Act 1:1  The former treatise have I made, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus began both to do and teach,

Act 1:2  Until the day in which he was taken up, after that he through the Holy Ghost had given commandments unto the apostles whom he had chosen:

The early church is the example for the church today, the little flock the Lord has put together. We are continuing in the same doctrine given to the Apostles, which is the Commandments. We are selling all our previous treasures of knowledge and spiritual riches to buy the precious gem that is the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The Lord is now adding to the church daily those appointed for salvation in this age.

Act 2:42  And they continued stedfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.

Act 2:43  And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles.

Act 2:44  And all that believed were together, and had all things common;

Act 2:45  And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need.

Act 2:46  And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,

Act 2:47  Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.

Thus, we are led to begin a new series called Shorts, which takes each Commandment and makes a separate short post or study on that topic. This can be found on the top menu of the website, and we pray the Lord brings those marked for salvation here to prepare themselves for His coming in the power of the Holy Spirit. We begin the series with seven shorts we have completed, but more will be added in the weeks and months ahead, Lord willing.
