Salvation is Promised
Eternal Punishment a Lie
The Lord saves every man He creates at the appointed time. Over the years, man has perpetuated many false doctrines and lies, and the one about eternal torment in hell is one of the most impactful and destructive in keeping one blinded to the true Gospel and Lord. May some eyes be opened to the true doctrines of Jesus Christ.
God’s most central promise is that all men will be saved from their sins. For this reason, the Father sent Christ as the Saviour to save the world.
Joh 3:15 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Joh 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
Christ was sent to save all mankind, Jew and Gentile alike, and that is precisely what is fulfilled in the appointed time.
Luk 2:10 And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.
Luk 2:11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.
Yet most who profess Christ believe in a God who is unsuccessful at saving them from their sins and then torments them in a place called eternal hell and everlasting punishment. Eternal hell represents a false Jesus and is nowhere near the true Living God, who is the Lord of heaven, the earth, and the whole universe. He is faithful to all His Word and Promises, and nothing is too hard or impossible for the Lord.
Jer 32:17 Ah Lord GOD! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee:
Mat 19:26 But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.
Our God is Lord God Almighty, the alpha and the omega, and everything in between. The Lord gets done what He desires and has declared, and nothing, no man or evil spirit, stands in His way. The Lord holds everything in His hands and has declared the end from the beginning. The lie of eternal torment is an entirely different God, a complete fabrication and delusion that the Lord ordained to come upon the world until their eyes are opened to the truth by His mercy.
Rev 1:8 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.
Dan 4:35 All the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing; He does according to His will in the army of heaven and among the inhabitants of the earth. No one can restrain His hand Or say to Him, “What have You done?”
1Co 8:6 But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.
The Father and Lord’s stated desire is to save every man from their sin by remaking them into sons of God and abiding with them forever. God created man for His glory, and every man ever created will glorify God in due time. For most, this takes place in the next age, yet the Lord’s desires and will is done in the times He has appointed.
1Ti 2:4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.
Isa 43:7 Even every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him.
Psa 115:3 But our God is in the heavens: he hath done whatsoever he hath pleased
One of God’s names is the Almighty. The Almighty God gets what He desires, and nothing can stand in His way or prevent His will from being done. His counsel and His desires work all things. He has already declared all of every man’s days.
Psa 139:16 Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.
Job 23:13 But he is in one mind, and who can turn him? and what his soul desireth, even that he doeth.
Eph 1:11 In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:
When our eyes are opened to see God’s omnipresence and power in all things, the false doctrine of everlasting punishments is readily burned up by the fire of truth. The belief in eternal torment is arguably the largest plank that spiritually blinds professing Christians from approaching and coming to know the God of the universe.
Mat 13:13 Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.
Mat 13:14 And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive:
Orthodox Christianity has coined the word “Universalism” to color this most basic truth of God as an invention of men. The exact opposite is the truth. Universalism is not a pattern of sound words from the Scriptures, as it is not found in the Bible and should not be used to teach the doctrines of Christ. It is mentioned here only to make you aware, and the doctrine is called the salvation of all men henceforth. The salvation of all men in the appointed time is the certainty of God, who cannot lie. Those who deny this remain far from the true God, have another Jesus, and abide in great darkness while claiming to see.
Luk 3:6 And all flesh shall see the salvation of God.
1Co 15:22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
1Jn 2:2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.
Isa 66:23 And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD.
1Ti 4:10 For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, especially of those that believe.
Jesus Christ is the Saviour of the entire world, and this comes to pass in the appointed times as foretold in Scripture. The sum of the Scripture, the sum of the Word, is the truth, and carnal minds err when they pick and choose Scripture and exclude others to concoct false doctrines. One of those key principles is that the sum of the Word is True. When men pick and choose verses, ignore many others, many false doctrines are created, including the lie of eternal punishment.
Psa 119:160 ASV The sum of thy word is truth; And every one of thy righteous ordinances endureth for ever.
2Pe 1:20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the Scripture is of any private interpretation.
This study reviews the key principles the Scriptures teach to rightly divide the Word of Truth. How to Rightly Divide the Word of Truth.
The Promise of the Blessing
The promises of God are yes and Amen; they come to pass in their appointed time. The Lord promised the Patriarchs, beginning with Noah and continuing with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, that all the nations and people of perpetual generations would be blessed, meaning they would be saved from their sins and reap His salvation.
Noah – Gen 9:17 And God said unto Noah, This is the token of the covenant, which I have established between me and all flesh that is upon the earth.
Abraham – Gen 12:3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.
Isaac – Gen 26:4 And I will make thy seed to multiply as the stars of heaven, and will give unto thy seed all these countries; and in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed;
Jacob – Gen 28:14 And thy seed shall be as the dust of the earth, and thou shalt spread abroad to the west, and to the east, and to the north, and to the south: and in thee and in thy seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed.
Let God be true and every man a liar. The Lord is faithful to His promises and He cannot lie.
Tit 1:2 In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;
The Lord declared the end, the salvation of all men, before there were even any days. There is no God like Him who works all things, even declaring to us our every thought as we are mere clay in His hands.
Isa 46:9 Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me,
Isa 46:10 Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:
The promise of salvation is not just for the Jews, but also to the Gentiles, meaning to all mankind. All of creation becomes God’s people, Israel in the end, and shall be saved in their appointed time.
Psa 22:27 All the ends of the world shall remember and turn unto the LORD: and all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before thee
Isa 2:2 And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the LORD’S house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.
Rom 9:25 As he saith also in Hosea, I will call them my people, which were not my people; and her beloved, which was not beloved.
Rom 9:26 And it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said unto them, Ye are not my people; there shall they be called the children of the living God.
Rom 11:26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:
Rom 11:32 For God hath concluded them all in unbelief, that he might have mercy upon all.
None of the Apostles mentions in any writings the doctrine of an eternal hell, which is the foundation of most professing Christians’ faith. The Apostles do not cite it because it is a lie and has no part of the counsel of God. Men without understanding have twisted the parables spoken by Jesus Christ, ignoring scores of witnesses that speak to the salvation of all men, and have exalted the role of man and diminished the role of God in bringing forth salvation.
What is Salvation and How It Comes
The Lord is the Lamb of God, who was sent by the Father to take away the world’s sins. Salvation means taking away our sins, which is why a Savior was sent to us.
Joh 1:29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.
The lie of eternal torment corrupts even the meaning of salvation. Most who believe the lie also expressly or implicitly believe that salvation means avoiding God’s judgment. This false understanding of salvation itself is another big false doctrine. Salvation means being saved from our sins, and it does not mean bypassing God’s righteous judgment. Having our sins forgiven does not mean we are not chastened to learn to obey the Lord.
Judgement comes to those to whom Christ, the living commandments, come; it is an enduring judgment that saves us from our sins and remakes us into the image of the Son. All mankind must appear before the judgment seat of the Lord. Being judged is a good thing, as this is the only process by which we are saved from our sins, meaning our sins are taken away because we stop doing them.
1Pe 4:17 For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?
1Pe 4:18 And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?
2Co 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.
Every man is redeemed and learns to obey the Lord at the appointed time, which is salvation. Jesus Christ came to save the world, not to judge the world, yet the saving is done by judgment when we embrace His commandments, the Gospel, which saves and judges us. This begins when we begin to hear the words of the Lord in Spirit and in Truth and thus the commandments begin to judge us and bring the needed corrections for salvation.
Joh 12:47 And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.
Joh 12:48 He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.
Judgment brings salvation and is a blessing that first comes to those the Lord has chosen in this age, known as the Household of God. It is how the bondage to the world [Egypt] is loosed and how we are taught to do righteousness.
Exo 6:6 Wherefore say unto the children of Israel, I am the LORD, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will rid you out of their bondage, and I will redeem you with a stretched out arm, and with great judgments:
Isa 26:9 With my soul have I desired thee in the night; yea, with my spirit within me will I seek thee early: for when thy judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness.
Psa 19:9 The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether.
Psa 19:10 More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.
Judgment comes upon us when Christ, the Living Word, the commandments are lifted up within us. The living Christ lifted up, draws all to the Gospel, and the living Christ is the fire that delivers us from sin.
Joh 12:31 Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out.
Joh 12:32 And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me
God’s Judgment saves us through the Living Word, the Holy Commandments, which live with us when the Holy Spirit is given. The Lord’s Spirit is God’s commandments and living grace, teaching us righteousness, and is the blessing of the Lord. The blessing of His living grace of the indwelling Spirit causes us to obey the Lord; it is how we are ALL taught of God. Judgment is to be sought rather than avoided.
Rev 1:3 Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.
Eze 36:27 And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.
Joh 6:45 It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto me.
Lies all build upon one another, and even the concept of salvation has been corrupted. Salvation is being delivered from our sins and comes from being judged. Mankind is appointed to salvation and not to wrath, yet salvation comes by way of judgment and enduring the wrath of God when the Living Christ comes to us with the Promise and initiates our day of the Lord.
1Th 5:9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ
The morning comes, when the Son, the Day Star, arises in our hearts, and the wrath is no more. The Lord finishes the work, and we enter into His rest, having been perfected. Judgment is not forever.
Psa 30:5 For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning
Judgment from God is how we learn and are caused to obey the Lord in our appointed times, which is our day of the Lord. We live by every Word God spoke, and we are first snared and taken in deception as men corrupt the Scriptures and make darkness their light.
Isa 28:13 But the word of the LORD was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken.
The Lord punishes and chastens us when we disobey Him, especially after we come to know the Gospel, which is the Holy Living Commandments. Yet this is done in love, like a natural parent would discipline their child to teach them the right way to behave. It is no fun to be scourged by a parent, be they our heavenly Father or an earthly father, yet when we mature, we look back and are grateful for being taught the right way.
Heb 12:11 Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.
We learn not to touch a hot stove by touching a hot stove and bearing the resulting burn and pain. Thus, in the same way, we learn to obey the Lord and do righteousness when our time of judgment comes. We do not become sons of God any other way.
Heb 12:6 For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.
Heb 12:7 If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?
Heb 12:8 But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.
Like a good parent, the Lord’s anger is only for a moment to discipline and correct us. It is through these experiences in fiery trials that our sins are purged. The Lord does forgive all sin, yet we are still taught not to sin by our failings. Where sin abounds, the grace of God abounds even more.
Mic 7:18 Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth in mercy.
Mic 7:19 He will turn again, he will have compassion upon us; he will subdue our iniquities; and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea.
The way of salvation is coming through fire, not by avoiding fire. The Word of the Lord, specifically, His Commandments, is the fire that saves us from sin and burns up all things that defile from our heaven [mind] and our earth [walk, deeds]. The day of judgment is a glorious day, as it means Christ has come to make His abode with us, and now we have the living grace of God, the fire, living in us for salvation.
1Co 3:13 Every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is.
1Co 3:14 If any man’s work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.
1Co 3:15 If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.
Those whom the Lord sends to preach the Gospel speak the words of fire, the commandments out of their mouth. Salvation comes to us when we have ears to hear these words spoken by preachers of the Gospel the Lord sends.
Jer 23:29 Is not my word like as a fire? saith the LORD; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces?
Heb 1:7 And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire.
Mat 11:15 He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.
Hearing the Gospel, which is the commandments, is the water that washes us of false doctrines such as eternal torment. After being cleansed of those lies, the Living Christ comes to us with the fire, the power unto salvation, that burns up all our sins. It is not eternal torment but the greatest blessing any man ever experiences.
Mat 3:11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:
Mat 3:12 Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.
The Lord, the Spirit of the Living Word and Commandments, comes as fire to our earth, and that is what He wanted already to be kindled because it is what saves us from our sins.
Luk 12:49 I am come to send fire on the earth; and what will I, if it be already kindled?
Verses like these from the Prophets speak of fire and the living Word that comes to us and does the intended work to save us from our sins by burning up all that defiles us, the Holy Temple of the Lord.
Eze 20:47 And say to the forest of the south, Hear the word of the LORD; Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will kindle a fire in thee, and it shall devour every green tree in thee, and every dry tree: the flaming flame shall not be quenched, and all faces from the south to the north shall be burned therein.
Eze 20:48 And all flesh shall see that I the LORD have kindled it: it shall not be quenched.
Eze 20:49 Then said I, Ah Lord GOD! they say of me, Doth he not speak parables?
Who is it that walks uprightly and obeys the commandments of the Lord? It is those who have come through the fire that is the Living Word of Commandments, the Gospel. The lie of eternal hell has no place when these truths are revealed to those who see and hear.
Isa 33:14 The sinners in Zion are afraid; fearfulness hath surprised the hypocrites. Who among us shall dwell with the devouring fire? who among us shall dwell with everlasting burnings?
Isa 33:15 He that walketh righteously, and speaketh uprightly; he that despiseth the gain of oppressions, that shaketh his hands from holding of bribes, that stoppeth his ears from hearing of blood, and shutteth his eyes from seeing evil;
We are all first deceived before we are mercifully delivered from the lies. Getting out of the bondage of eternal hell is a necessary yet pivotal step. May those given ears to hear, hear the truth and come out of this lie.
In time, every man shall look to the Lord and be saved. They have no choice; the Lord gets His way in the whirlwind of His judgments. Every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess in due time, praising the name of their God.
Isa 45:22 Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else.
Isa 45:23 I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear.
Another major lie on the same scale as eternal hell is the false doctrine that man has free will and is responsible for all their actions. The lies all link together, so even a little leaven [lie] leavens the whole lump of our spiritual food. When we understand the sovereignty of God in all things, the lie of eternal torment is easily burned in the fire of the Lord’s truth.
We have John’s vision of the salvation of all men and their gathering in Spirit before God. The promises made to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob that their descendants in the faith would be more than the stars of heaven or the grains of sand in the sea have come to pass. All men are saved, and the multitude is so great it cannot be numbered.
Rev 7:9 After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;
Rev 7:10 And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.
Rev 7:11 And all the angels stood round about the throne, and about the elders and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God,
It is by coming through the many tribulations of God’s righteous judgment, living through the fire as the living commandments take root in us, that we are washed of our sins and given the righteousness that is the Living Christ.
Rev 7:12 Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen.
Rev 7:13 And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they?
Rev 7:14 And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
Rev 7:15 Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them.
All our pain, suffering, tears, and sorrow give way to praise and glory for the salvation of the Lord to be revealed in us. We are clay in the hands of the Potter who purposefully creates us and then makes us again. All things are being made new; we are made into a new creature in the very image of God. He is faithful and His Word is True; it shall come to pass.
Rev 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
Rev 21:5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.
When we hear the words of the Potter, our remaking takes place as the Gospel, the living commandments, and the Lord Himself is making all things new.
Jer 18:2 Arise, and go down to the potter’s house, and there I will cause thee to hear my words.
Jer 18:3 Then I went down to the potter’s house, and, behold, he wrought a work on the wheels.
Jer 18:4 And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter: so he made it again another vessel, as seemed good to the potter to make it.
When one is given to see the truth that all mankind is saved, a huge weight is lifted off, and great joy fills one’s house. This is only a first step in coming out of darkness and into the true light of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Come further into the light and receive it into your heart. Jesus Christ is the Living Word and the Holy Commandments of the Father. Salvation shall surely come, and we hasten the Lord’s coming when we labour in the commandments, striving to be obedient to the faith.
Heb 9:28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.
Getting the plank of eternal hell or torment pulled from one’s eyes is just one of several massive lies that need to be burned up for anyone to begin to see the truth of the Gospel and the true love of God that is hidden from the world. We encourage all to read the many studies on the website www.truthinscripture.com, which focus on the topics of the Gospel and God’s judgment in Spirit and Truth. Those who hunger for the truth would benefit from further reading.
