Book of Micah Part 3 – Moving on to Maturity

By Pete Wilson

We always think we have arrived long before we do and we won’t arrive while we still occupy these clay vessels (Phil 3:12).  We must endure to the end to be saved (Mat 24:13).  We must move on to maturity if the Lord permits and this comes as we are given to eat strong meat, that meat being the enduring the trials and suffering of our lives in the clay. We learn by experience.

Heb 5:14 But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

The Lord moves us along when our time has come and through this process our faith is increased and we little by little approach, enter in and possess the land that is promised.  The story of Israel at Horeb shows the Lord’s hand in our maturation and moving us from mountains that satisfy our flesh.

Deu 1:6 The LORD our God spake unto us in Horeb, saying, Ye have dwelt long enough in this mount:

Deu 1:7 Turn you, and take your journey, and go to the mount of the Amorites, and unto all the places nigh thereunto, in the plain, in the hills, and in the vale, and in the south, and by the sea side, to the land of the Canaanites, and unto Lebanon, unto the great river, the river Euphrates.

Deu 1:8 Behold, I have set the land before you: go in and possess the land which the LORD sware unto your fathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give unto them and to their seed after them.

The Lord will move us along by these words we study in Micah.  We will have our “yet carnal” way of life (unbelief) exposed and we will be commanded to move through and pass by eleven cities of Israel before we will be given our inheritance.

Mic 1:15 Yet will I bring an heir unto thee, O inhabitant of Mareshah: he shall come unto Adullam the glory of Israel.

But first we have an eleven city journey just as the Israelites had at Horeb.

Deu 1:2 (There are eleven days’ journey from Horeb by the way of mount Seir unto Kadeshbarnea.)

Eleven cities will be the focus of this and next week’s study as eleven demonstrates we have not yet arrived and the Lord has yet to give us the promise.  Eleven symbolizes the disintegration of the perfection of the flesh (the number ten) and is one short of our achieving a spiritual foundation represented by the number twelve.  A review of the study on numbers ten thru twelve will be helpful to understand this point (See links at the end).

The eleven cities are in the Philistine plain and all have spiritual significance in our maturation and movement towards a complete spiritual foundation in Christ.  Those nations within us will ultimately all bow down to Christ, the heir and the ruler of these kingdoms and land within us (Luk 17:21).

Gen 37:9 And he (Joseph, a type for Christ) dreamed yet another dream, and told it his brethren, and said, Behold, I have dreamed a dream more; and, behold, the sun and the moon and the eleven stars made obeisance to me.

Our journeying west of the Jordan River through these cities is part of our judgment and we are brought to be the mature man.  Our going in the circles in the wilderness on the east side of Jordan is past, this is the real deal where we begin to seek out and overcome the giants and are being prepared to be used of the Lord in service as we will see later in Micah.  Let’s reset the context of Chapter one.

Mic 1:2 Hear, all ye people; hearken, O earth, and all that therein is: and let the Lord GOD be witness against you, the Lord from his holy temple.

Mic 1:3 For, behold, the LORD cometh forth out of his place, and will come down, and tread upon the high places of the earth.

From last week, we saw a connection between Samaria, where Christ finds us and Jerusalem the Holy City.  That connection is our idolatry and the worship of other gods that we bring with us from our worldly way of life.  It takes this journeying for us to possess the land with sanctity and to cleanse the temple which we are of these idols and bring us to obedience to the foremost commandment.

Deu 6:5 And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.

We saw last week that Jerusalem, representing us in the Body is far worse in its idolatry and harlotry than who we represent in Samaria when we know another jesus.

Eze 23:4 And the names of them were Aholah the elder, and Aholibah her sister: and they were mine, and they bare sons and daughters. Thus were their names; Samaria is Aholah, and Jerusalem Aholibah.

Eze 23:11 And when her sister Aholibah saw this, she was more corrupt in her inordinate love than she, and in her whoredoms more than her sister in her whoredoms.

It is this profaning of the Lord’s Name that ushers in our baptism with fire and brings about our sanctification in due time from a jealous God (Exo 34:14, Eze 36:23-24).  This is the judgment that comes first upon the House of the Lord.  Being in the Body, knowing true doctrine and having been given talents brings about a greater judgment as more is expected to those given much (Luk 12:48).  The appointed time has come!  The Lord is not going to show any pity to the blasphemers. He is bent on destruction and bringing death so that new life can come forth.

Eze 7:9 And mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity: I will recompense thee according to thy ways and thine abominations that are in the midst of thee; and ye shall know that I am the LORD that smiteth.

Lam 4:11 The LORD hath accomplished his fury; he hath poured out his fierce anger, and hath kindled a fire in Zion, and it hath devoured the foundations thereof.

These idols we hold in secret shall be utterly abolished in our day of the Lord (Isa 2:8).

2Co 6:16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

We will learn more details on this process as the Lord addresses the rebellious kingdoms and cities within us.  Here are the verses for today that will continue through next week also.

Mic 1:8 Therefore I will wail and howl, I will go stripped and naked: I will make a wailing like the dragons, and mourning as the owls.

Mic 1:9 For her wound is incurable; for it is come unto Judah; he is come unto the gate of my people, even to Jerusalem.

Mic 1:10 Declare ye it not at Gath, weep ye not at all: in the house of Aphrah roll thyself in the dust.

Mic 1:11 Pass ye away, thou inhabitant of Saphir, having thy shame naked: the inhabitant of Zaanan came not forth in the mourning of Bethezel; he shall receive of you his standing.

Mic 1:12 For the inhabitant of Maroth waited carefully for good: but evil came down from the LORD unto the gate of Jerusalem.

Mic 1:13 O thou inhabitant of Lachish, bind the chariot to the swift beast: she is the beginning of the sin to the daughter of Zion: for the transgressions of Israel were found in thee.

Mic 1:14 Therefore shalt thou give presents to Moreshethgath: the houses of Achzib shall be a lie to the kings of Israel.

Mic 1:15 Yet will I bring an heir unto thee, O inhabitant of Mareshah: he shall come unto Adullam the glory of Israel.

Some of these cities named here can be found in definition of the land inheritance given the children of Judah.  Remember this prophecy was seen in the days of the three Kings of Judah which is you and me if we are the elect and the kings and priests of the Lord.  All these cities promised must in due time be possessed by the children of Judah through whom the lineage of Jesus Christ comes forth (Mat 1:3, Luk 3:33, Gen 38).

Jos 15:20 This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Judah according to their families……… (verses 21-63 detail the cities)

Jesus Christ in the flesh will become Jesus Christ in the Spirit in the appointed times.  These verses show us the futility of our own efforts of trying to become righteous and holy by the Law of Moses.  The Lord has something against all these cities, they fall short of His glory.  It takes Christ coming with the fire and scourging of true grace to make us righteous and holy and even then, it is not us, but Christ being formed in us that meets that standard.

Mar 10:18 And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God

The last verse in this sequence Mic 1:15 speaks of our inheritance in Christ.  This is the land promised as these words are all spirit (Joh 6:63).  Despite all our failing efforts in the flesh to deliver ourselves, the promise given to us in due time.  The Lord will bring an heir unto thee.  This is the promise of salvation and being found IN HIM, in Jesus Christ that was ordained before the foundation of the world.

Eph 1:9 Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself:

Eph 1:10 That in the dispensation of the fullness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him:

Eph 1:11 In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:

Eph 1:12 That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.

Addulam is said to be the glory of Israel and is the last city mentioned on this progressive journey.  It represents the completion of the process and the enduring of the way and finishing our race.  We know who Israel is (The Body, the Elect) and we know the Lord shares His glory with nobody; so we can readily deduce that Addulam is in fact a symbol for The Christ.  The Body (The Christ) is this cloud of witnesses in which the glory of the Lord appears.

Exo 16:10 And it came to pass, as Aaron spake unto the whole congregation of the children of Israel, that they looked toward the wilderness, and, behold, the glory of the LORD appeared in the cloud.

Those clothed in the linen dipped in blood are the Cherubim’s in whom and above the glory of the Lord resides.

Eze 9:3 And the glory of the God of Israel was gone up from the cherub, whereupon he was, to the threshold of the house. And he called to the man clothed with linen, which had the writer’s inkhorn by his side;

Those speaking the words of fire (Jer 5:14) make up this devouring fire that consumes the adversaries of the Lord in the day they are heard.

Exo 24:17 And the sight of the glory of the LORD was like devouring fire on the top of the mount in the eyes of the children of Israel.

So it in this inheritance of Christ, the last city on this journey – (aka at Adullam) that we receive ministry and give the ministry of the manifold grace of the Lord.

1Pe 4:10 As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.

Strong’s claims the root word for Adullam (H5724) has an uncertain meaning.  Yet most bible based websites commonly trace this back and conclude that Adullam means refuge or retreat.  Addulam is probably best known as the cave where King David (New Man) hid from the pursuit of King Saul (Old Man).

1Sa 22:1 David therefore departed thence, and escaped to the cave Adullam: and when his brethren and all his father’s house heard it, they went down thither to him.

1Sa 22:2 And every one that was in distress, and every one that was in debt, and every one that was discontented, gathered themselves unto him; and he became a captain over them: and there were with him about four hundred men.

When we are oppressed and persecuted, Christ, our inheritance, is our refuge and where we also retreat too in times of trouble.

Psa 9:9 The LORD also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble.

This is a key part of our inheritance to be given to come into to this house of refuge and to rest in the shadow the wings of the Cherubim.

Psa 57:1 To the chief Musician, Altaschith, Michtam of David, when he fled from Saul in the cave. Be merciful unto me, O God, be merciful unto me: for my soul trusteth in thee: yea, in the shadow of thy wings will I make my refuge, until these calamities be overpast.

We are Christ and the Body of Christ is Christ — the two being inseparable as the Body is only complete with all of its parts (1 Cor 12:12).  It is in Christ that we will be delivered out of the hand of our enemies.

2Sa 22:1 And David spake unto the LORD the words of this song in the day that the LORD had delivered him out of the hand of all his enemies, and out of the hand of Saul:

2Sa 22:2 And he said, The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer;

It is from this inheritance given at Addulam that we go out in strength and make war and win the battles against our flesh.  We see this time and again in Samuel documenting the life of David and by extension your walk and my walk (Mat 4:4, 1 Cor 3:21).

2Sa 23:10 He arose, and smote the Philistines until his hand was weary, and his hand clave unto the sword: and the LORD wrought a great victory that day; and the people returned after him only to spoil.

2Sa 23:12 But he stood in the midst of the ground, and defended it, and slew the Philistines: and the LORD wrought a great victory.

2Sa 23:13 And three of the thirty chief went down, and came to David in the harvest time unto the cave of Adullam: and the troop of the Philistines pitched in the valley of Rephaim.

The series of prophetic words and the specific names places here in Micah are there to show us the futility of our own efforts to be righteous.  Once we have the Truth, we make a lot of changes and the outside of the cup is getting much cleaner.  Yet work remains and the deep things hidden within must be brought to the light of Christ.  This is the Lord’s doing and how He will complete the good work He has begun in all of us and in due time all men.

Col 2:11 In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ:

We will come back to focus on the eleven city journey but first need to cover verses 1:8-9 that will show us the futility of our unbelieving yet carnal state of mind being at ease in Zion.

Mic 1:7 And all the graven images thereof shall be beaten to pieces, and all the hires thereof shall be burned with the fire, and all the idols thereof will I lay desolate: for she gathered it of the hire of an harlot, and they shall return to the hire of an harlot.

Mic 1:8 Therefore I will wail and howl, I will go stripped and naked: I will make a wailing like the dragons, and mourning as the owls.

We will lament and mourn losing our old way of life.  It is very painful to see our labors (the hires of our harlotry of verse 7) burned with fire.  But that is what must be.

1Co 3:15 If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.

Wailing like dragons and mourning like owls as the KJV words it would better be described by the more common translations that in every other English translation uses jackals and ostriches.

Mic 1:8 NKJV Therefore I will wail and howl, I will go stripped and naked; I will make a wailing like the jackals And a mourning like the ostriches,

Mic 1:8 YLT For this I will lament and wail; I will go stripped and naked; I will make lamentation like the jackals, and mourning like the ostriches.

Mic 1:8 LITV Because of this I will wail and howl; I will go stripped and naked; I will make a wailing like the jackal, yea, mourn like the daughters of an ostrich.

Mic 1:8 DARBY For this will I lament, and I will howl; I will go stripped and naked: I will make a wailing like the jackals, and mourning like the ostriches.

Jackals are a type of dog known for being cowardly, operating at night and howling and wailing.  A perfect metaphor for what we all do when in our UNBELIEF (A DOG) when we don’t trust in the Lord and are not willing to wait on Him to deliver on His promises.  All such howling and wailing traces back to lack of faith or unbelief.

Not much gets done in the way of our spiritual completion when we are acting like a jackal.

Mat 13:58 And he did not many mighty works there because of their unbelief.

We and the disciples cannot cast out demons (lying spirits, false beliefs) when we doubt and do not believe.

Mat 17:20 And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

And lest we think this applied to those bad people over there in Babylon, think again!  Here are the ELEVEN who saw all the miracles and saw the risen Lord sitting in unbelief.

Mar 16:14 Afterward he appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat, and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them which had seen him after he was risen.

Spiritual jackals will end up going into the fire and that exactly how the Lord will turn our unbelief into belief and we will come to know He is truly the Lord of our heaven and earth.  To the chosen few, it comes in this age.

Rev 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

Using Romans 1:20, an ostrich has some interesting spiritual parallels.  They are the largest and strongest of the birds (pride, strength of flesh) and are known for their lack of wisdom (spiritual unbelief).   Job gives us the best biblical description of a spiritual ostrich.

Job 39:13 Gavest thou the goodly wings unto the peacocks? or wings and feathers unto the ostrich?

Job 39:14 Which leaveth her eggs in the earth, and warmeth them in dust,

Job 39:15 And forgetteth that the foot may crush them, or that the wild beast may break them.

Job 39:16 She is hardened against her young ones, as though they were not hers: her labour is in vain without fear;

Job 39:17 Because God hath deprived her of wisdom, neither hath he imparted to her understanding.

An ostrich is you and me that is resisting the work of the Spirit and contending with Christ.  An ostrich builds on a foundation of dust that will not stand and has no fear of the Lord.  We put the new things the Lord is raising into the earth of our carnal thinking and way of life.  An ostrich is deprived of wisdom and spiritual understanding as we also are before the Lord brings the fire to teach us.

The mourning of an ostrich is us when we complain in our unbelief and do not trust in the Lord as we begin to have to pay the costs of being saved.  It will cost us everything and we need to be prepared to give it.

Luk 14:33 So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple.

Mic 1:9 For her wound is incurable; for it is come unto Judah; he is come unto the gate of my people, even to Jerusalem.

Judgment has come upon the Lord’s people, it is come to Judah and even unto the gates of the Holy City.  We know this time the deadly wound that is initially healed when we are in Babylon, will not be healed this time.  The beast is going to perish along with the false prophet within us.  It is coming into the gates of the Lord’s people that will begin the lake of fire experience that will save us.

Rev 19:20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.

Outwardly this too will play out at the end of the Millennium in the lake of fire at the 2nd Resurrection (Rev 20:10).  The theme of judgment is so central to salvation and how we obtain the mind of Christ and wear His Crown (Isa 28:5-6).

Having already spoken of the 11th city Addulam, let’s cover the first of the two cities as the Lord Having come into the Truth there is still much more tribulation necessary for us to finish the race and be prepared for the Lord’s service in the outward kingdoms. (Act 14:22).  Our flesh and its labor is never good enough to enter into the presence of the Lord.  Only thru the blood may we enter into Christ and that thru the Body and the living sacrifice of the church (Col 1:24, Gal 2:20)

Heb 10:19 Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus,
Heb 10:20 By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh; (i.e. The Body of Christ)

The Lord causes us to arise, leave the mountains of our fleshly comfort and move on to maturity in Christ.  We must be given to do this or we will fall in the unbelief of the carnal mind.

Heb 4:11 Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.

We have become at ease and Zion and are not working out our salvation with fear and trembling (Phi 2:12)

Amo 6:1 Woe to them that are at ease in Zion and that are secure in the mountain of Samaria, the renowned of the first of the nations, to whom the house of Israel come.

Mic 1:10Declare ye it not at Gath, weep ye not at all: in the house of Aphrah roll thyself in the dust.

The Philistines are a type and shadow of our flesh and the struggles to overcome that flesh.  Israel and the Philistines were constantly battling; it took many battles for the victory to come.  The land promised to Israel and to God’s Elect includes the land of the Philistines.  We will be given dominion over the flesh. That is salvation and will come to all men.

Exo 23:31 And I will set thy bounds from the Red sea even unto the sea of the Philistines, and from the desert unto the river: for I will deliver the inhabitants of the land into your hand; and thou shalt drive them out before thee.

The flesh does not go down easy.  We see in Joshua (a type of Jesus Christ) that even when he was old there was work yet to do to conquer the cities of Philistine.

Jos 13:1 Now Joshua was old and stricken in years; and the LORD said unto him, Thou art old and stricken in years, and there remaineth yet very much land to be possessed.

Jos 13:2 This is the land that yet remaineth: all the borders of the Philistines, and all Geshuri,

We will never get thru all these cities until the Son of Man comes to us and He brings the sword and the fire of the Holy Spirit (Mat 3:11).

Mat 10:23 But when they persecute you in this city, flee ye into another: for verily I say unto you, Ye shall not have gone over the cities of Israel, till the Son of man be come.

Until faith comes in sufficient measure, we fear the flesh and are afraid to fight the flesh living in unbelief being yet carnal.  In this state we will give into temptation as the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak.  The fear of Goliath instilled in King Saul and his army was only conquered when David was risen up to slay the beast (1 Sa 17:10-11).

Even after David defeats Goliath of Gath and beheads him, the battle with flesh is not over and continues.  Saul and his son Jonathan succumb to the Philistines and are killed demonstrating the life long process of overcoming the flesh and gaining the victory.

2Sa 21:15 Moreover the Philistines had yet war again with Israel; and David went down, and his servants with him, and fought against the Philistines: and David waxed faint.

We will always be in this battle while in these clay vessels.  We must not grow weary (Gal 6:9) which is why we need to stay in fellowship to edify, exhort and help one another.  Lone sheep are easy prey!  Our victory is only in down payment form yet we should be growing strong as Christ in us matures and we strive to depart from inequity (2 Tim 2:19)

It was the most mature king (King Hezekiah, third in the succession of the three kings in Micah 1:1 – See Part 1 of Study) that ultimately defeated the Philistines many years after David’s battle.

2Ki 18:7 And the LORD was with him; and he prospered whithersoever he went forth: and he rebelled against the king of Assyria, and served him not.

2Ki 18:8 He smote the Philistines, even unto Gaza, and the borders thereof, from the tower of the watchmen to the fenced city.

This is true prosperity, being given dominion over sin and our flesh!

We learn as we mature that salvation is truly of the Lord and we have nothing to do with it.  It is not by our might or strength but is only by the Lord’s Spirit that we are victorious over the Philistines (Zec 4:6).

Psa 44:3 For they got not the land in possession by their own sword, neither did their own arm save them: but thy right hand, and thine arm, and the light of thy countenance, because thou hadst a favour unto them.

All this land and all these cities are west of the Jordan (the land promise) signifying this is a later stage battle and the coming of Christ the second time for salvation apart from sin.  This is when the fleshly kings are smitten (Jos 12:7).  Conquering these cities and the nations they represent is speaking of salvation coming to the kingdom of God that is within you.  This comes via the process of judgment and this is how the land promised is given to Israel (The Elect) in due time.

Christ is both the first and the last which includes the first man of sin (Adam) in all of us.  First comes the natural and then the spiritual.  First the man of the earth, then the Lord from heaven (1 Cor 15:46-49).

Christ in the flesh will be followed by Christ in the Spirit yet that new man will only come forth after much tribulation and warring against the Philistines.  Let’s look at these cities in Micah that represent the whole of Philistine (our flesh) one by one and what is being said to see if we can glean some spiritual significance.

1. Declare it not at Gath

We saw in Part 1 the definition for Gath was a Philistine city.  We also saw that a Morasthite like Micah is defined as a possession of Gath.  We are dust in these clay vessels and will learn the excellency in us is of the Lord and not ourselves.

2Co 4:7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.

When the Lord has come to heal us through the baptism by the Word and the resulting fire, the old man and his offspring are being killed.  The once strong men of the flesh are being slain of the Lord which is the good news and how Christ is formed in us.  Christ tells us to go tell no one when we are healed as our time has not yet come.  We must mature in the faith before we can be used of the Lord and best to sit at the feet of Christ for a season.

Luk 5:14 And he charged him to tell no (carnal) man: but go, and shew thyself to the priest, and offer for thy cleansing, according as Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them.

Getting ears to hear, eyes to see and a mouth to speak the Word is truly a gift that comes only to the FEW CHOSEN (Mat 22:14) in this life.  Christ comes to us and it is Christ, through His Body that opens our ears and tongues.

Mar 7:34 And looking up to heaven, he sighed, and saith unto him, Ephphatha, that is, Be opened.

Mar 7:35 And straightway his ears were opened, and the string of his tongue was loosed, and he spake plain.

Mar 7:36 And he charged them that they should tell no man: but the more he charged them, so much the more a great deal they published it;

Mar 7:37 And were beyond measure astonished, saying, He hath done all things well: he maketh both the deaf to hear, and the dumb to speak.

David lamenting over the death of Saul and Jonathan (the old man in type) instructed Israel to declare it not in Gath.  The reason being the Philistine daughters within and without will be given reasons to triumph in their carnal reasoning’s.

2Sa 1:19 The beauty of Israel is slain upon thy high places: how are the mighty fallen!

2Sa 1:20 Tell it not in Gath, publish it not in the streets of Askelon; lest the daughters of the Philistines rejoice, lest the daughters of the uncircumcised triumph.

Which has helped me to better understand what we are being told in Revelation as the heathen will rejoice over our dying flesh in the days of our judgment.

Rev 11:10 And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth.

We learn the hard way that we have no ability to share the truths of God’s Word to those not prepared of the Lord to hear it.  Running back and telling the heathen men that represent Gath is not serving the Lord. We will only bring humiliation and shame on ourselves in our immaturity if we try to force knowledge our new found truth on anyone.  We must wait on the Lord and lay hands suddenly on no man (1 Tim 5:22).

Pro 20:12 The hearing ear, and the seeing eye, the LORD hath made even both of them.

Mat 7:6 Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.

When we see the Kingdom of God in Truth and in Spirit we don’t go back to the flesh, we begin to separate.  Easier said than done but we will learn this thru the chastening of a loving Father.

Mat 24:17 Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take anything out of his house:

2. Weep not in the house of Aphrah

No pity parties allowed in the kingdom of God.  We should learn to rejoice in what the Lord is doing thru the trials and suffering we have been appointed to endure (Phi 1:28).

Jer 25:33 And the slain of the LORD shall be at that day from one end of the earth even unto the other end of the earth: they shall not be lamented, neither gathered, nor buried; they shall be dung upon the ground.

Eph 5:20 Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ

We will weep and lament at first as that is how we learn the truth by falling down.  Our flesh won’t like having its wall torn down and its foundation devoured with fire.

Rev 18:9 And the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication and lived deliciously with her, shall bewail her, and lament for her, when they shall see the smoke of her burning

But we do not understand when we first endure this process, it is only by looking back we understand.  Our sorrow will be turned into joy once we really believe.

Joh 16:20 Verily, verily, I say unto you, That ye shall weep and lament, but the world shall rejoice: and ye shall be sorrowful, but your sorrow shall be turned into joy.

Aphrah – H1036:  From H1004 and the feminine of H6083 (with preposition interposed); house to (that is, of) dust; Beth-le-Aphrah, a place in Palestine: – house of Aphrah.

Aphrah means house of dust.  Dust is representative of the earth, its particles and spiritually speaking this is the carnal mind and its 200 million lies.  This dust is leaven and will defile the temple of the Lord and make any house containing it unclean.  Getting and keeping dust out of our house is very important spiritually.

Lev 14:41 And he shall cause the house to be scraped within round about, and they shall pour out the dust that they scrape off without the city into an unclean place:

Mat 10:14 And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet.

We are not to go weeping in the house of dust.  That is seeking to save our carnal way of life, the very life the Lord is in the process of destroying.  We must lose that life of dust and come to rejoice in that process.

Luk 17:33 Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it.

1Co 15:50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.

Luk 10:11 Even the very dust of your city, which cleaveth on us, we do wipe off against you: notwithstanding be ye sure of this, that the kingdom of God is come nigh unto you.

It is the carnally minded that weep in the house of Aphrah.  We are not to do this even though we all will do as the harlot within us is judged.

Rev 18:19 And they cast dust on their heads, and cried, weeping and wailing, saying, Alas, alas, that great city, wherein were made rich all that had ships in the sea by reason of her costliness! for in one hour is she made desolate.

Weep not in the house of Aphrah is to weep not in the house of the flesh.  We need to rejoice in the trials we are given and learn to be content abiding in the furnace of affliction which is the mysterious way the Lord brings salvation to His people.  The beast that is not yet is, feeds on dust as his father the devil does.  On the way into the Holy City, we have to get past this lamenting our trials and learn to appreciate the suffering we have been appointed to endure.

Php 1:29 For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake;

Next week we will continue the review with the remaining 8 cities of the Philistine plain that we must go through spiritually on our way into a permanent abode in the Holy City of Jerusalem.

Deliverance From Unbelief

unbelief 99Taking on the mind of Christ requires us to go thru many tribulations to purge out the innate habit and patterns of being carnal in a marred vessel of clay. This is the process of how, in the appointed times of the Lord, each man ever born will be remade into the new man.

Jer 18:4 And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter: so he made it again another vessel, as seemed good to the potter to make it.

Those that walk in faith, stand on the Scriptures which are the word of God, knowing that they alone are life and are the comfort for God’s Elect.

Rom 15:4 For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.

The Scriptures are all words of Spirit that are spiritual life to those who can hear them with (God given) ears to hear and eyes to see.  To the carnal mind, the words of Scripture are always applied outwardly and taken as a history lesson to learn from versus the living words that we must in our appointed times live out.

Luk 4:4  And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.

Psa 139:16 but with your own eyes you saw my body being formed. Even before I was born, you had written in your book everything I would do. (CEV)

True bread from heaven is the word of God but that bread in its entirety is every word of God.  We shall live by all of them in due time.  That includes living out those words and the righteous judgments of God against us.  It is His Word that shall judge us in “the last day” ordained for each us, the day our carnal mind will begin to be destroyed and we will be given the mind of Christ.  We all first reject Christ before we are given to receive His word and when we do then our judgment will begin.

Joh 12:48  He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.

If we are so blessed and given mercy, we will have that experience right here and right now in this age.

1Pe 4:17 For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: (THE ELECT) and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?  (They will be judged in the lake of fire in the ages to come)

The people of God are the only ones given to partake of communion with Christ.  This takes place by our fellowship with Christ and by sharing the one event that comes alike to all men (ECC 9:2) in due time which is living by every word.  This is the true ONE bread from heaven.

1Co 10:16  The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ?

1Co 10:17  For we being many are one bread, and one body: for we are all partakers of that one bread.

Battling Lies, False Doctrines and Carnal Thoughts

As we grow in the faith, we still have much to learn, much to overcome and that includes being delivered of all the lies and false doctrines we first learn in Egypt (the world) and then Babylon (the harlot churches of men).  Like Mary Magdalene, we all must be delivered of seven (the perfect number) of demons that ensnare us in bondage.  That actual number is unfathomable to us, we have no idea how deceived we are and what strong delusion means when we are the blind one spiritually.  But here is a number we are given on just how prevalent are the lies and false doctrines of the carnal mind.  This is how many horseman we battle in our spiritual warfare.

Rev 9:16  And the number of the army of the horsemen were two hundred thousand thousand: and I heard the number of them.

But make no mistake the process of learning the truth and growing in the true faith requires us to be in the house of God (the Body of Christ) but also for us to live thru many prophecies of getting evil spirits cast out of our spiritual houses.   So I hope this post inspires some of you and helps you understand the battle in our heavens and that we war not with flesh and blood.

Eph 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness (i.e. LIES) in high places (heaven).

So this is the battleground and where war in heaven takes place.  Our carnal mind is purposefully set at enmity with the things of God and must be destroyed for Christ to grow in us and our old man to decrease.  We need deliverance and that only comes from Zion (the Body) who speak the words of fire that destroy the old man Esau within all of us.  This prophecy is both today and is yet future as the word of God, IS, WAS and WILL BE.

Oba 1:21  And saviours shall come up on mount Zion to judge the mount of Esau; and the kingdom shall be the LORD’S.

…. and remember where the kingdom of God is and where all this takes place.

Luk 17:20  And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:  (you don’t see it with your physical senses)

Luk 17:21  Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.

Spirits Are Doctrines

Spirits are doctrines, they are lies, untruths that make their way into our inner heaven and earth and greatly influence our walk with the Lord.  These are what must be cast out of us for true deliverance to come.

1Jn 4:1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits (test the doctrines) whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

Lies and false doctrines are the plagues of the Egypt (the world) and will keep us in spiritual darkness and separated from the light of this life which is Christ, the Lord and His Body.  If we ever needed a reminder on why obedience is so important (not to avoid eternal punishment) here are some good verses that we should never forget.

Exo 15:26 And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases (false doctrines, lying spirits) upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee.

Rev 18:2 And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit (LIES), and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird. (false doctrines that fly in our heavens and deceive us)
Rev 18:3 For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies.
Rev 18:4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. (Babylon’s false doctrines)

And we all first are sick and need a physician but even then we will think are not in need or repentance and turning away from the world and the harlot churches of men.  At this point in our walk, Christ has not yet appeared to us as He only comes to those who know they need repentance, not the 99 who don’t need it.  Christ comes and appears only to those He has shown are in dire need of a spiritual physician.

Luk 5:31  And Jesus answering said unto them, They that are whole need not a physician; but they that are sick.

Luk 5:32  I came not to call the (self) righteous (i.e the 99), but sinners to repentance.

We all will drink of these lies (wine) and commit fornication, mixing the things of God with the things of the world.  So God’s people don’t go accusing those the Lord Himself has ensnared in Babylon to spend their appointed time waiting for their yet future judgment.

Jer 29:4 Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, unto all that are carried away captives, whom I have caused to be carried away from Jerusalem unto Babylon;

In due time, the Lord will bring us out but it has nothing to do with our free will.

Jer 29:10  For thus saith the LORD, That after seventy years be accomplished at Babylon I will visit you, and perform my good word toward you, in causing you to return to this place.

Jer 29:11  For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

Babylonian Deliverance Ministries

I got involved in the deceptive ministry of casting out evil spirits in the outward spoken name of Jesus for several years in my past strong delusion.  I for sure thought I was doing right and serving God. I would have sworn there were actual deliverance’s, outward miracles happening before my very eyes. But that is exactly what they were because these too are words we must all live by every one in due time.

Mat 24:24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

Rev 13:13 And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men,
Rev 13:14 And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.

Those that dwell on the earth certainly applies outwardly in the physical and includes all men, but it also means those that are yet carnal.  Unless and until we are seated in the heavens with Christ we are dwelling on the earth and cannot receive the things of the Spirit.

Eph 2:6  And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heaven in Christ Jesus (in the Body of Christ)

Rev 11:12  And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; (of witnesses, i.e. The Body) and their enemies beheld them.

But as it turned out, it had simply not been given to me yet to understand the mysteries of the kingdom of God.  Until that times comes, none of us will have a clue despite what we or others may think or say about ourselves.  The ability to hear and understand the WORD is indeed a gift that comes with our measure of faith.

Mat 13:9  Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.

Mat 13:10  And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables?

Mat 13:11  He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.

Mat 13:12  For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath.

Mat 13:13  Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.

Mat 13:14  And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive:

And as has been said many times, the Lord is not now calling the entire world and revealing Himself to them. He is revealing Himself only to the chosen few, which is fewer than we can possibly imagine at first.

Mat 22:14  For many are called, but few are chosen.

In the Name of Jesus

When I was involved in this outward carnal deception,  it was very important to follow a bunch of rules and memorize certain techniques to be succesful and cast the demons out.  One very important method was to always start by saying “in the name of Jesus”….  In the name of Jesus which is how we are to pray does not mean simply speaking outwardly in the physical.   When we are in Babylon, we believe that merely saying “in the name of Jesus” is the requirement and magical words like abracadabra that has our “other jesus in a genie bottle” to answer our prayers or requests.  Like all Scripture, all the words are Spirit and they are spiritual life.  Doing things like praying and casting out demons are to be done in the name of Jesus, but that means with the true doctrines and us living thru the righteous judgment of God against our carnal mind.  This is the fire that sanctifies us which is the will of God.  This is how the house of the Lord is cleansed in the appointed times.  And this is a wonderful promise when are given to know the truth and given the faith and the grace to obey the Lord.

Joh 14:14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

of course the very next verse adds an important aspect of doing things “in my name”.

Joh 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.

Doing things in the name of Jesus is being a doer of the word!  Lest we missed it, this message has many witnesses and here is another one that thru the sum of thy word tell us what praying and fasting is speaking about.

1Jn 3:22  And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.

Doing this, obeying Him, is asking in His name and becoming a doer of the word.  It is living and abiding in the truth and working out our salvation with fear and trembling, know the Lord really is the Lord of heaven and the earth.

To be a doer of the word we must be given the faith and ability to take captive the lies, carnal thoughts and false beliefs that oppose themselves against the truth.  This really is UNBELIEF that must be overcome.  We must be given faith to believe the Scriptures, ALL OF THEM, and taught to apply the SUM OF GODs word as the truth, not some of it.

2Co 10:3  For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:

2Co 10:4  (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)

2Co 10:5  Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

At first and for a very long time, we will mix the word of God up with the philosophies and traditions of the world, and consider ourselves spiritual and calling such beliefs godly wisdom.  But there can be no mixture as just a little leaven, leavens the whole loaf of bread and perverts the truth into lies.   But this is really a sign of our immaturity and a lack of faith that we must be given to grow beyond.  Until we are given to do this by the Lord, we will not progress and will be a victim as Paul writes here.

Col 2:8  Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. (His word, the pure doctrines, His Body)

There is absolutely NO LIE in the truth.  So even a little worldly logic mixed with the ways of the Lord is a lie and that takes time for us to grow and to really appreciate that if we are one of God’s Elect.

1Jn 2:21  I have not written unto you because ye know not the truth, but because ye know it, and that no lie is of the truth.

Learning not to even think above what is written, is what is required of us to dispel the bad habits of applying worldly logic to our life and situations.

1Co 4:6  And these things, brethren, I have in a figure transferred to myself and to Apollos for your sakes; that ye might learn in us not to think above that which is written, that no one of you be puffed up for one against another.

It takes faith to walk by the Scriptures and not to lean on our carnal reasonings.  This can only be given to us by the Lord and then it is thru the subsequent trials that our faith is tried and grows and little by little the false beliefs and trusting in the world’s ways is purged from the kingdom of God within our heavens and earth.

Idols of Our Hearts

The way the Lord keeps us in bondage and blind to the truth is thru the lying signs and wonders mentioned above.  This is accomplished in us thru the use of idols of our heart that we all have and are used (given) us by God to accomplish His work in us as the Master Potter.  When I was involved in the lies of speaking to demon spirits and casting them out of people in the name of Jesus said outwardly, I was simply turned over to the idols of my own heart.  The Lord does this to all of us and for some it might be deliverance ministries, for others, tongue speaking, still others are turned into holy rollers and fault finders that go around accusing everyone of sin.  All of this is the Lord’s work in us and it is simply fulfilling these verses and keeping us in outer darkness awaiting our time of judgment.

Eze 14:1  Then came certain of the elders of Israel unto me, and sat before me.

Eze 14:2  And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

Eze 14:3  Son of man, these men have set up their idols in their heart, and put the stumblingblock of their iniquity before their face: should I be enquired of at all by them?

Eze 14:4  Therefore speak unto them, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Every man of the house of Israel that setteth up his idols in his heart, and putteth the stumblingblock of his iniquity before his face, and cometh to the prophet; I the LORD will answer him that cometh according to the multitude of his idols;

Eze 14:5  That I may take the house of Israel in their own heart, because they are all estranged from me through their idols.

Notice it is “all” who are estranged.  There is indeed none that does good, no one not even one…. despite what those that want to argue flesh and blood was made perfect from the start and believe the lie of the fall of mankind and will continue to argue that man in the marred vessel of clay is not a  virtual sinning machine in their self-righteous delusion.

Rom 7:24  O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? (SIN)

1Co 15:42  So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption (not perfection); it is raised in incorruption:

1Co 15:43  It is sown in dishonour (not good) ; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:

1Co 15:44  It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.

No man is exempt for being estranged from God thru their idols.  And yes in the end it will be that ALL ISRAEL that shall be saved and all men (mankind) will indeed live by every word God has spoken.  This only awaits the timing ordained of the Lord who has declared the end from the very beginning.  Here is some good news in the end.  It won’t seem that way to those still bound to Babylon doctrines, but the Lord will eventually destroy that false prophet that all of us must first be.

Eze 14:9 And if the prophet be deceived when he hath spoken a thing, I the LORD have deceived that prophet, and I will stretch out my hand upon him, and will destroy him from the midst of my people Israel.

You see this is the first part of our witness for Christ.  We are all first a false prophet being carnal, speaking lies and ultimately the beast within us all will rise up and destroy that witness.

Rev 11:7 And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.
Rev 11:8 And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.

But is does not end there.  If we are Christ, members of His Body, of the chosen few, there will be a resurrection in this age. And this is when our faith, the real kind given to us by God, will begin to be tested with fiery trials.

Rev 11:11 And after three days and an half the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them.
Rev 11:12 And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.

I like all men will suffer periods of unbelief and will revert back to relying on my carnal minds, leaning on my own understanding and this is a recipe for disaster and falling off the narrow path that God’s Elect will learn in due time to walk.

Pro 3:5  Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. (i.e our carnal mind and thoughts and the wisdom of this world we all first learn)

Pro 3:6  In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Anyone believing even a little bit that man has any free will and is “a free moral agent” is leaning on their OWN UNDERSTANDING and acting in UNBELIEF, totally outside of the faith OF (not in) Jesus Christ.  Here is a link to a  a few of my articles which are chock full of Scriptures (not human reasoning) and that show those with eyes to see the truth.

who-is-responsible-for-evil

gods-sovereignty-vs-mans-free-will

A Lord that is hoping and depending upon any man to do something by making a free moral agency decision, is indeed a false God and another jesus we are warned about.

2Co 11:3 But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.
2Co 11:4 For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.

And here is the truth of the Lord of heaven and the earth.  Amazing how dismissive the carnal minds can be to clear Scripture such as this.  Our very being is in Christ, the good the bad and the ugly.  The first man of sin and the second man born from above.  He is indeed the POTTER and we the clay but few really believe or even know what that truly means.

Act 17:25 Neither is worshipped with men’s hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things;
Act 17:26 And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;
Act 17:27 That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us:
Act 17:28 For in him we live, and move, and have our being; (HE IS THE POTTER)  as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.

THIS WAR OF DOCTRINES/ THOUGHTS BRINGS SALVATION

When we are given eyes to see and ears to hear, then this war in our heaven begins.  This is when the angels of the Lord, His Elect, all speaking the words of fire make war in our mind.  This is how the lies are cast out of us and the dragon who is our father the devil of the carnal mind.  And as we are shown, now is come salvation when this accuser, the one who accuses everyone under the delusion of free will is cast out of our thought life.  This is how and when we enter into the true Sabbath rest that is Christ.

Rev 12:7  And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,

Rev 12:8  And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.

Rev 12:9  And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels (lying spirits/demons) were cast out with him.

Rev 12:10  And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.

And this is how we move on to maturity and finish the race and overcome the dragon and the pulls of the flesh and the carnal mind.  It is an ongoing process that takes abiding in the fire that is His word which is found in the Body of Christ, in communion and fellowship with “Christ” who is the Elect.  It is this dying daily and suffering that has been appointed for God’s Elect that is how we overcome.

Rev 12:11  And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

Let me end this post with a rendering of a well known story from Mark 9 about a demon that is cast out by Christ.  These are most definitely words of Scripture every man will live by.  I hope it ties together this post and will help your unbelief which we all need help many times in order to overcome and endure to the end, doing battle in the heavens.

Mar 9:14 And when he came to his disciples, he saw a great multitude about them, and the scribes questioning with them.

Mar 9:15 And straightway all the people, when they beheld him, were greatly amazed, and running to him saluted him.

Mar 9:16 And he asked the scribes, What question ye with them?

Mar 9:17  And one of the multitude answered and said, Master, I have brought unto thee my son, which hath a dumb spirit;

Being dumb and deaf means we are spiritually incapable of speaking or hearing God’s truths.  Being blind and all those stories refer to our physical blindness and believing the lies of Babylon and having all of them blot out the true light and true doctrines that is Christ.  Only Christ coming to us and speaking His word will remove any of those spiritual illnesses.

When we are a babe in Christ (my son) we are still carnal and have dumb, deaf and blind spirits that need to be cast out of us and this requires the process that brings salvation and abiding in the fire of His word.

Mar 9:18  And wheresoever he taketh him, he teareth him: and he foameth, and gnasheth with his teeth, and pineth away: and I spake to thy disciples that they should cast him out; and they could not.

All the disciples were still not converted, and they themselves were blind, deaf and dumb to the mysteries of the kingdom of God.  They did not understand at that time which is clearly shown us in the Scriptures.

Luk 18:34  And they understood none of these things: and this saying was hid from them, neither knew they the things which were spoken.

So they could not cast out this dumb spirit from this young man (aka babe in Christ).  Spiritually speaking, neither can we until we ourselves are converted and matured in the faith.

Mar 9:19 He answereth him, and saith, O faithless generation, how long shall I be with you? how long shall I suffer you? bring him unto me.

We don’t have real faith at this point in our walk pre conversion.  We still hold to the lies like free will and we need the intervention of Christ to help us believe and grow in the true faith.

Mar 9:20 And they brought him unto him: and when he saw him, straightway the spirit tare him; and he fell on the ground, and wallowed foaming.

We know this spirit was one of a lunatic or what would be considered a mental illness.  But spiritually speaking this is referring to the spiritual illnesses we all have when we first come out of the harlot churches of men. These lies that we believe in our heavens, tear us spiritually, they keep us on the earth wallowing around in the ways of the world and unable to speak the truth and feed the sheep and lambs of God.

Mar 9:21 And he asked his father, How long is it ago since this came unto him? And he said, Of a child.

Mar 9:22 And oft times it hath cast him into the fire, and into the waters, to destroy him: but if thou canst do any thing, have compassion on us, and help us.

The lies and false doctrines all to some extent use the word of God deceitfully (fire and water) to destroy the new man in us and keep us from moving on and growing in the faith.  These are the lying signs and wonders that deceive us and keep our old man and beast nature solidly sitting on God’s throne in the temple of God in our heart which is where the kingdom of God is.  But when we come into the presence of the real Christ and hear the real word, the true doctrines, the demon is fixing to get cast out of the temple of God which temple we are.  If only we could believe the Scriptures and have the faith that is given to us.

Mar 9:23 Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.

Mar 9:24 And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief.

All of us must have our unbelief helped.  It takes many tribulations and trials for us to come to trust the Scriptures and not follow the physical senses and the logic of a dark and deceived world.  We have to fall down and get back up many times to learn or should I say unlearn these lies before they will leave us never to return.

Mar 9:25 When Jesus saw that the people came running together, he rebuked the foul spirit, saying unto him, Thou dumb and deaf spirit, I charge thee, come out of him, and enter no more into him.

Mar 9:26 And the spirit cried, and rent him sore, and came out of him: and he was as one dead; insomuch that many said, He is dead.

The old man must die.  The beast within must be destroyed.  And this is accomplished in us and in the kingdom of God within, when we hear the words and true doctrines of Christ.  This is the “last” days of our carnal age and begins the process of judgment that will deliver us of all such lies.

Mar 9:27 But Jesus took him by the hand, and lifted him up; and he arose.

And once healed, Christ (His Body) must pick us up and this is how we are resurrected in down payment form today from the spiritual dead and separated from the world and those not in the true faith.

Mar 9:28 And when he was come into the house, his disciples asked him privately, Why could not we cast him out?

The disciples later in the house of God asked the Lord why they could not cast out this demon.   The answer is very telling and requires its own study to explain in full.

Mar 9:29And he said unto them, This kind can come forth by nothing, but by prayer and fasting.

Some evil spirits will come out easily and some will take time, a process.  That is what Jesus was telling us in this parable story.  The lie of eternal torment for example can easily come out if one is prepared with ears to hear and shown by an angel of the Lord the hundreds of Scriptures that show this.  Yet some aspect of UNBELIEF take longer to get cleansed from our heavens.  The deep rooted lies of Babylon and carnal logic is ingrained into the deepest part of our heart and minds.  It takes time for the light that is the word of God to shine into all the areas of darkness  It is a process of God remaking us all, He is the creator of the darkness and the light and in that order.

Luk 12:2  For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that shall not be known.

2Co 4:6  For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

That is why we must pray fervently and fast.  Praying means much more than outward prayer, it really comes down to being a doer of the word, and like our Father always be working.  Christ taught us to pray, thy kingdom come, thy will be done, ON EARTH (our body, our walk)  as it is already in HEAVEN (our minds).  It is one thing to know the truth, it is quite another to actually DO IT.

Jas 1:22  But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

Mat 6:10  Thy kingdom come (within us). Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

True fasting has nothing to do with denying physical food to our bodies.  That is just another form of outward self-righteousness that the Lord uses and makes into idols of the hearts of some people.  True fasting has to do with resisting evil and abstaining from the pulls and engagement in the affairs of this world and its lusts and being sure to eat unleavened spiritual bread, abstaining from the lies of the great whore.  Some good studies on those topics are posted here for those so led.

http://tryingthespirits.com/2014-04/prayer-and-fasting/

It is thru TRUE prayer and fasting; that  our unbelief is helped and the demons come out of us and the temple of God within is filled with the light of Christ.  This is the war that rages in heaven that begins when the new man is given birth within us which comes in the appointed times known only to God.   This is the process of how we are sanctified and how are faith will grown thereby with time and we will mature thru many trials and many stumbling’s.

Do Not Compare

We must to remember not to compare ourselves or look down upon others who have more or less faith than we do.  We all are exactly where we are supposed to be, being mere clay in the Potter’s hands.  Faith is a gift from God that no man can boast.

Rom 12:3  For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.    (It’s all a gift)

When we criticize others, that is UNBELIEF, we are denying the sovereignty of God in all things and we best get beyond that and learn to take those lying thoughts captive to the obedience of Christ.  There is nothing any man has received that was not given to them by God.

2Co 10:12 For we dare not make ourselves of the number, or compare ourselves with some that commend themselves: but they measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise.
2Co 10:13 But we will not boast of things without our measure, but according to the measure of the rule which God hath distributed to us, a measure to reach even unto you.

Doing such things is very unwise and is not of faith and is us being yet carnal, warring after the flesh.  Of course we all will do it, we have to do it wrong and disobey the Lord in order to learn righteousness the hard way, by going thru judgment.  I have battled this carnal habit of comparing myself and measuring myself with others and it has been a raging war within.  But thankfully thru the fiery trials the Lord has sent my way, I am getting the victory.  Christ is increasing and the old man Pete is decreasing and in that I rejoice.  If we stumble, and we will at times and for seasons, we need to get right back up.  This is the battle, this is the process of how we move on to maturity and it is worth repeating it here again.

2Co 10:3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:

Getting rid of the evil spirits is a process of deliverance that is necessary to clear our temples of the lies and false doctrines that keep us in bondage to our lusts and from growing in the faith.  The lies cannot abide when the light that is Christ and His doctrines shines upon it.  The demons always leave and this is how we progress and move on to maturity.

I hope this post that covered several deeper topics has given a few of you some things to chew on.  If you have questions or sincere comments, please make them here or email me privately at peterjwilson56@gmail.com.

Beware of the Dogs

There are many dogs we will come into contact with in our Christian walk.  We best come to know how to discern the true worker of God from the fake.  The most distinct warning given to us by Jesus was that many deceivers would come and many would be deceived.   I have seen many people, myself included be tossed around by various winds of doctrine over time by being ignorant of the dogs and judging books by their covers.  May this post open the eyes of the reader who may need a reminder that we are to test the spirits and the doctrines that we take to heart always being aware of the flood of deceivers that will mark the “last days” which had already begun before the Bible was even finished being written.

1Jn 4:3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

The fact is the church had already fallen away as we can see Paul and John tell us in their words and letters to the Elect.

Act 20:29  For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.

Act 20:30  Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.

Dogs are a metaphor that refers to people who are OUTSIDE of covenant with God. These are unbelievers and are not in the true faith.  That defines a dog in Scripture.  We can see this easily in the story of the Samaritan woman whose daughter had a demon in Matthew 15.  Jesus makes clear He only came for the lost sheep of Israel, meaning to save right now, only the chosen ones of the Father.  The woman still wanted healing for her daughter and she showed faith and Jesus was amazed and because of her answer about a dog desiring just a crumb of His healing power, her daughter was delivered.

Matthew 15:25-28 Then she came and worshiped Him, saying, “Lord, help me!” 26 But He answered and said, “It is not good to take the children’s bread and throw it to the little DOGS.” 27 And she said, “Yes, Lord, yet even the little DOGS eat the crumbs which fall from their masters’ table.” 28 Then Jesus answered and said to her, “O woman, great is your faith! Let it be to you as you desire.” And her daughter was healed from that very hour.

A dog is simply someone not chosen to be part of the house of Spiritual Israel.  We are warned all over to beware of the professing believers who are really outside of covenant and are these dogs.  If we let down our guard and fellowship with them, we can be led astray and will be disobedient to the commandments of God.  The church of Jesus Christ, the ekklessia is called out and separated from the dogs.  We don’t condemn or judge the dogs because who enters into covenant with God is only those who God chooses and that is all by grace at HIS will not man’s.

The true church and the chosen disciples of Jesus are indeed a little flock. God  always intended for His Israel to be few in number and they are indeed hand picked by the Father.   I am of the true circumcision (faith) as are several others the Lord has brought together at this website www.truthinscripture.com.  Nobody is boasting in this, we are simply stating our allegiance to the truth and giving all glory to the ONE who has saved us by His choosing.  Hallelujah!

Philippians 3:2-3  Beware of the dogs, beware of the evil workers, beware of the false circumcision; 3 for we are the true circumcision, who worship in the Spirit of God and glory in Christ Jesus and put no confidence in the flesh

Three times Paul states strongly, BEWARE.  We best take heed and beware, as Paul is warning us about a certain kind of dog.  We are warned about dogs who are really evil workers even though they profess faith and claim to be of the “circumcision” by which Paul is stating their claim to be spiritually circumcised of heart by the finger of God.  That is what makes these dogs a more dangerous threat to God’s people than the casual unbeliever.  These evil workers will be disguised as God’s servants but will be leading people away from Christ and the  purity of this gospel of salvation for all men.  These dogs are the same as the wolves who come disguised as lambs on which we have many similar warnings.  Jesus admonishes us not to cast these deep pearls of God’s truth to those that are of the false converts, the false circumcision.  It will exhaust us and the pack of dogs or swine, will tear us to pieces and steal the rest we are to have in Christ.  I have been slow to learn this and obey these words of the Lord.

Matthew 7:6  “Do not give what is holy to the dogs; nor cast your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you in pieces

It is our Father in heaven who has chosen the Bride of Christ since before the world was formed and has imparted the precious gift of faith in the appointed time.  My time fully arrived two months ago as my spiritual healing made itself known unto this world.  This has not brought me external peace by any means, but has instead brought much rejection and persecution just as promised.  But it is indeed a wonderful blessing for which I am eternally grateful to my Father in heaven.  In this post, I want to contrast some of the stark differences that define those in the true faith versus those in the false faith.

Faith That Does Not Count

There is such a thing as false faith or the false circumcision.  Paul was not speaking about Jews in his statement from Phil 3:2-3 above.  He was speaking of the fake believers that follow another jesus and preach other gospels than the one true gospel handed down by the Apostles.   These dogs are the very tares of the field that masquerade as true Christians yet put their trust in their flesh and their supposed free will to choose God.

The most basic pillar of faith is that the dead, will be raised to life.  This speaks to all men that ever lived.  That is the gospel and while there will be judgment,  all men will henceforth be partakers in eternal life (Rev 5:13, Phil 2:10, Gen 12:3, etc).  But most that profess faith, do not believe that, they believe only a few will be saved and the rest tormented eternally.  That is not faith, it is deception and those that believe that are still in their sins.  All faith is not the same.  Words are cheap.

1 COR 15:13-17  Now if Christ is preached, that He has been raised from the dead, how do some among you say that there is no resurrection of the dead? 13 But if there is no resurrection of the dead, not even Christ has been raised; 14 and if Christ has not been raised, then our preaching is vain, your faith also is vain. 15 Moreover we are even found to be false witnesses of God, because we testified against God that He raised Christ, whom He did not raise, if in fact the dead are not raised. 16 For if the dead are not raised, not even Christ has been raised; 17 and if Christ has not been raised, your faith is worthless; you are still in your sins.

This preaching will not be in vain however.  The truth, the WORD of GOD spoken in boldness will go out and will accomplish all of its intended purposes.  Those in the faith will look at this dark world and weep over the rejection of truth and the maligning of God’s character with this eternal hell doctrine.  Yet we know it is this way because it was God’s will to save only a few and have the multitudes ensnared into deception following doctrines of demons.

1 TIM 4:1  Now the Spirit expressly says that in later times some will depart from the faith by devoting themselves to deceitful spirits and teachings of demons

With 2,000 years of antiChrists and deceivers waxing worse and worse, there is an almost innumerable number of doctrines of demons.  In fact Revelation actually gives us a number and it is 200 Million.

Rev 9:16 And the number of the army of the horsemen were two hundred thousand thousand: and I heard the number of them.

The falling away from the faith, corporately in the professing church happened eons ago and was rampant when the doctrine of eternal hell became the mainstream Christian viewpoint.  In fact the falling away happened before the Bible was even finished being written as these Scriptures attest.  Depending on the traditions of men is exactly what we are warned against doing, yet that is what Babylon does in supporting its false gospels and other jesuses.

Act 20:29 For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.
Act 20:30 Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.

2Ti 1:15 This thou knowest, that all they which are in Asia be turned away from me; of whom are Phygellus and Hermogenes.

Even the beloved Titus fell away.

2Ti 4:10 For Demas hath forsaken me, having loved this present world, and is departed unto Thessalonica; Crescens to Galatia, Titus unto Dalmatia.

John was kicked out of the very churches he started.

3Jn 1:9 I wrote unto the church: but Diotrephes, who loveth to have the preeminence among them, receiveth us not.

3Jn 1:10 Wherefore, if I come, I will remember his deeds which he doeth, prating against us with malicious words: and not content therewith, neither doth he himself receive the brethren, and forbiddeth them that would, and casteth them out of the church.

It is the carnal minded Babylon churches that have taught this dispensational look at Scripture and put all of this falling away off into the future.  The fact is, we were born into a church system that fell away before the Bible was even completed and all the traditions we have been taught are lies.

1Jn 4:3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

Which is why we are admonished to test the spirits, try the doctrines, to see if they are of God.

Paul feared for many of the believers in the churches he started and supported with his ministry.  This was a constant theme and I fear for many also that remain under judgment who have been shown the truth but continue to stubbornly resist it and put their popularity with friends and family ahead of serving the Lord in truth and in Spirit.

Galatians 4:11  I fear for you, that perhaps I have labored over you in vain.

The deceivers, aka the wolves had come in after him and had bewitched many into falling back into carnal doctrines.  These deceivers sought these believers in Galatia but not commendably, their motives were selfish ambition.  Paul knew it took time to walk in the truth and be matured and wait for the Lord to reveal Jesus Christ to us in our appointed time.  Many fell away before that time came.

Galatians 4:16-19  So have I become your enemy by telling you the truth? 17 They eagerly seek you, but not commendably, but they wish to shut you out so that you will seek them. 18 But it is good always to be eagerly sought in a commendable manner, and not only when I am present with you. 19 My children, with whom I am again in labor until Christ is formed in you

The seed that is Christ will sprout in our hearts when God decides it is time.  This verse from Paul I used to think applied to the organized churches.  While it does in many cases, it more appropriately applies to the growing number of people on social media sites such as FaceBook and YouTube who are building names and reputations for themselves all in the name of God.  Beware of dogs!

In the days of Jesus before His ascension, many “believers” that were not in the true faith complained and did not receive God’s words.  They could not receive the truth that they had no self will and had to eat of His flesh and drink of His blood to have eternal life.  They thought they were at Burger King and could have it “their way”.  Sorry for the joke, it is not funny but I use it to make the point.   This opposition to self will was in essence the argument they had with Jesus’s gospel if we take a deeper look into John 6.

John 6:61-66  When Jesus knew in Himself that His disciples complained about this, He said to them, “Does this offend you? …. 63 It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life. 64 But there are some of you who do not believe.” For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were who did not believe, and who would betray Him. 65 And He said, “Therefore I have said to you that no one can come to Me unless it has been granted to him by My Father.” 66 From that time many of His disciples went back and walked with Him no more

Those who get faith have been chosen from the beginning as has been shown in some recent posts and many of the comments.  Only the chosen few have been ordained of God to find faith in this life.  This is the narrow way, all others shall take the broad way thru destruction to arrive at eternal life.

I have seen many turn away from the truth (faith) once they were shown it.  They were not ordained of God to receive it at that time.  In turning away, they have exposed themselves as the dogs, the fake believers standing in the field of God’s service.  I myself was one of them until God showed me mercy that He had predetermined to show me before the world was formed.  All I can say is thank you Jesus and praise you Father.  It is only by your grace that I now can speak the truth with power and boldness.

The true gospel will always be opposed by the flesh.  There was much opposition to the true gospel back then and there is to this very day, especially within the midst of the religious crowd that has gathered online and in social media.  As I now preach the truth revealed to me by God and I am living every words of God including these ones from Paul.

1 Thess 2:1-5  For you yourselves know, brethren, that our coming to you was not in vain, 2 but after we had already suffered and been mistreated in Philippi, as you know, we had the boldness in our God to speak to you the gospel of God amid much opposition. 3 For our exhortation does not come from error or impurity or by way of deceit; 4 but just as we have been approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel, so we speak, not as pleasing men, but God who examines our hearts. 5 For we never came with flattering speech

I for one will not dumb down this gospel in order to please flesh and avoid offending people.  People need to have their hearts pricked and it is this double edged sword that was designed to do it in the appointed times.  I can’t trust my carnal mind to lead me,  it will deceive me and lead me into watering down the truth and tickling ears every time.  Disciples are supposed to preach and leave the increase, whether someone receives the truth or not up to God.  This we shall do.

False Workers

There are far more false workers in the Christian faith then there are true workers.  The way of truth is narrow and the enemies of the cross of Christ are very many.

Phil 3:18-19  For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ: 19 whose end is destruction, whose god is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame—who set their mind on earthly things.

It is not enough to judge someone or the truth by first appearances.  We must actually read the book to know the truth in the book or whether it is in error.  The same goes with knowing who is our brothers and sisters in Christ.  There are not many, relatively speaking.  Few there be shall find the way while many will go the broad way.  We must be wise as serpents and as harmless as doves.  We must heed these words from the Apostle and not let ourselves be tempted and led astray from the simplicity of the true gospel.

2 COR 11:1-3  For I am jealous for you with godly jealousy. For I have betrothed you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ. 3 But I fear, lest somehow, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, so your minds may be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. 4 For if he who comes preaches another Jesus whom we have not preached, or if you receive a different spirit which you have not received, or a different gospel which you have not accepted—you may well put up with it!

Sadly very many God is calling are for now being led astray and following after religious spirits that are teaching another gospel.  These of the false circumcision are really evil workers who do Satan’s bidding yet truly in their minds believe they serve the Lord.  They will read these Scriptures and think they apply to me but they apply to them as the heavenly wisdom contained in these Scriptures is veiled from their eyes.

2 COR 11:12-15  But what I do, I will also continue to do, that I may cut off the opportunity from those who desire an opportunity to be regarded just as we are in the things of which they boast. 13 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ. 14 And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. 15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works.

I have seen many false workers make a ministry out of going around and condemning others and exposing them as false teachers.  The true brethren will not do such, we will simply mark those who cause such divisions within the Body of Christ and shun them.  We will get them out of our fellowship.  We have seen this very dynamic play out on this website and I have been obedient to the Lord in separating.  I have been accused of hating by doing such,  but I will serve God and not men.

Ephesians 5:8-11 For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light 9 (for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness, righteousness, and truth), 10 finding out what is acceptable to the Lord. 11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them.

Thank God that I and others have been delivered from the darkness that once bound us in religious delusion.  I am given an explicit command right here to do what I have done to exclude from this fellowship any that would want to bring in false doctrines.  I will obey God and not men nor seek the popularity of public opinion.  We are told to rejoice and count it all joy to suffer shame for the name of Jesus Christ.   We know what hinders these false workers.

God has them bound in spiritual darkness.  Their veil has not yet been removed and they remain sons of disobedience.  Paul called them dogs and evil workers.  If people would consider that this ministry has received a great blessing and is not exalting itself or its authors but the Lord and His God who is the source of eternal salvation and all good things including the very faith we claim.

2 COR 4:1-3  Therefore, since we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we do not lose heart. 2 But we have renounced the hidden things of shame, not walking in craftiness nor handling the word of God deceitfully, but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God.

These contentions that have arisen on this website and many other forums are just trials and tribulations.  It is indeed a blessing, although a painful one in the flesh to have been chosen to endure these trials and suffer the rejection of men and women who claim godliness.  I have told God thank you many times and reaffirmed that I will indeed pay the cost to be His disciple.  I/we will confront these deceivers and defend this gospel but not with malice as we know the origins of their spiritual blindness.

2 COR 4:3-6  But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, 4 whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them.

Satan, the servant of God has these false workers, the DOGS blinded.  They are right where God has told Satan to keep them bound and in spiritual darkness.

I pray anyone will call me out or Glibert out or any of the Elect if we preach ourselves or exalt ourselves.  We are to bring glory to God and raise Christ up in all of our teachings and I pray we shall do this with sound doctrine.  This we are commanded.  If this site ever preaches anything but Jesus Christ and Him Crucified then please come here and bang loudly to bring correction.

2 COR 4:5 For we do not preach ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord, and ourselves your bondservants for Jesus’ sake. 6 For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

I have wept lately in some sadness and frustration.  I have only a tiny glimpse of what the Lord Jesus must have felt to have Himself rejected and the truth of this good news spurned by men and having to endure the mocking and scoffing of the religious crowd.    I wish they could see it and some of them could be saved now but we will learn patience and trust on the eternal promises of God.

Exposing Deceivers and False Believers

Do not be fooled by external forms of godliness and the very many that deny the absolute sovereignty of God.   People such as the former me can be very persuasive with swelling words of vanity and carnal knowledge of the Scriptures but remain without any understanding.  I used to deny God every time I would write a post or open my mouth to share my beliefs about the Scriptures and the faith.  I had a form of godliness for sure but was a deceiver of the first degree.  I now can warn and expose of this error probably better than most because God gave me the experience of great delusion and then brought me out of it.

2 Tim 3:1-5  But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: 2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, 4 traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!

Again we see the warning and command to separate and exclude “the dogs” from fellowshipping with us.  This does not mean we don’;t take the gospel to them as we do, as they are in the world.  Yet we are warned to beware of this false circumcision and those that bring forms of godliness.  This warning is not against Jewish people but about professing Christians that bring in damnable heresies and lead captives and silly woman astray.  There are very many of these.  I have seen many taking captive the hearts of people and leading many woman astray (men too) and it brings this Scripture to prophetic fulfillment.

2 TIM 3:6-7  For of this sort are those who creep into households and make captives of gullible women loaded down with sins, led away by various lusts, 7 always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

Those not chosen, the dogs, cannot hear the word of God.  It is impossible without the gift of faith to come to knowledge of the truth.

The imposters are far more numerous than the children of Sarah as Galatians 4:27 makes clear.  As much as my flesh and the flesh of others would like to change this, God has declared the end from the beginning and this massive deception of false faith and false workers is all part of His plan.  We will endure the persecution of the multitudes here so in the end all can be saved through God’s enduring mercy.  Flesh will never understand it but those given eyes to see and ears to hear will understand it.

2 TIM 3:13  But evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived.

The true circumcision will not lose hope despite the poor numbers and rejection of our message.  Many of these false circumcisions were the very people that used to camp out at this web site and argue and debate carnal doctrines.  I will not name names but they know who they are and anyone with ears to hear can spot them a long way off with the words they speak out of their mouths.

I was among them myself so I do not judge them but merely state the facts so as to warn the true brethren that we are indeed to test the spirits and cast out the bondwoman that is amongst us.  We are to get them out of there so to speak and separate from these works of darkness.

2 COR 6:14-15  Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness? 15 And what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever?

Jesus did not come to unite, but to separate.  Jesus did not come to bring peace but a sword.  These Scriptures are true and speak to the contentions and strife that will come,  the very tribulations to try our hearts and expose who is of the faith and who is not of the true faith.

Gal 4:28-30  Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are children of promise. 29 But, as he who was born according to the flesh then persecuted him who was born according to the Spirit, even so it is now. 30 Nevertheless what does the Scripture say? “Cast out the bondwoman and her son, for the son of the bondwoman shall not be heir with the son of the freewoman.

Dogs will eat the crumbs that fall from the Master’s table.  God has made a table for us, His very elect in the midst of our enemies.

My earnest hope is that this website will become a gathering site for those of the true circumcision.  As we gather, we will not be disputing over the matters of faith as there will be unity in all the essential doctrines.  This is one reason I take a hard stance on getting the uncircumcision off the website.  It is not about a democracy and giving equal time to people’s opinions.  We must preach, live and hold fast this word of truth and keep ourselves unspotted from the world.

Phil 2:14-16  Do all things without grumbling or disputing; 15 so that you will prove yourselves to be blameless and innocent, children of God above reproach in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you appear as lights in the world, 16 holding fast the word of life, so that in the day of Christ I will have reason to glory because I did not run in vain nor toil in vain.

So remember my friends to beware of the false circumcision.  Many outsiders to the covenant of faith, will seek to enter in and spoil the fellowship of true worship we share as brothers and sisters in Christ.  They will use all kinds of fleshly schemes to deceive us including flattery, especially initially so we will let down our guard.  Stand firm in the faith.  Know that when we confront those in error and exclude them from our fellowship, by turning them over to Satan, we are loving them and put them into a place where God might yet save them.

1 TIM 1:18-20  This charge I commit to you, son Timothy, according to the prophecies previously made concerning you, that by them you may wage the good warfare, 19 having faith and a good conscience, which some having rejected, concerning the faith have suffered shipwreck, 20 of whom are Hymenaeus and Alexander, whom I delivered to Satan that they may learn not to blaspheme.

Our brother the Apostle Paul would most certainly be accused of hate by those carnal Christians that are not yet in the true faith.  We have seen the very accusations used today in several seeking the approval of men and who are very puffed up and confident in their flesh.  We must all come to have no confidence in the flesh and know that it is all the workings of God by grace.  In the meantime be on the watch for the dogs, those evil workers that can so easily disguise themselves with external sweetness and flattery but who are actually being led by another spirit and believe in another jesus than the one known by the true brethren.

Philippians 3:2-3  Beware of the dogs, beware of the evil workers, beware of the false circumcision; 3 for we are the true circumcision, who worship in the Spirit of God and glory in Christ Jesus and put no confidence in the flesh

Let them who have ears hear these words.  AMEN.
