Why does God give man commandments?

Gen 2:17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

To the natural man (aka the carnal mind) the ways of God are indeed foolishness.  Such is the case with the truth that the Lord does indeed give us commandments such as “thou shall not eat of it”. Yet in the wisdom of God these commands are given to us even though we have no free will of our own to obey those very commandments.  How can this be?

1Co 2:14 But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

The spiritual truth is that God’s ways are different than the logic of our carnal minds which just proves that the word is true and that faith is indeed the gift that it is.  Without faith it is impossible to please the Lord much less believe in the Scriptures which is His Word.  Many know this verse but extremely few actually believe it and understand its depth and breadth.

Isa 55:8 “For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways,” says the LORD.

The SUM of God’s word is the truth and not some of it.  Until the Lord opens a door to one’s heavens and gives them ears to hear they won’t be able to grasp the power of what Psalm 119:160 says.  But when one is given to understand it then look out as many false doctrines are fixing to be kicked out of God’s temple.

Psa 119:160 The sum of your word is truth, and each righteous ordinance of yours is everlasting.

It is essential we learn how to apply this macro principle.  Some of the Scriptures put together at the exclusion of others is not the truth but the lies that men build in their carnal minds and why we have 40,000 denominations in orthodox Christianity (aka BABYLON). That is where we all must first go and we are all guilty of making our own bread and creating these false doctrines and believing them.

Isa 4:1 And in that day seven women shall take hold of one man, saying, We will eat our own bread, and wear our own apparel: only let us be called by thy name, to take away our reproach.

No prophecy of scripture is of its own private explanation yet the carnal mind will continue to be trapped by this principle until it is given ears to hear and eyes to see.

2Pe 1:20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.

A common carnal question, I partly addressed in my last post on Carnal Questions That Demand Answers was why does God find fault if we have no free will? Clearly free will is an insidious lie to anyone with ears to hear as the Scriptures declare in stunning clarity and repetition. But one must believe them to believe this most basic pillar of God’s truth.

The reason God gives us commandments is to seek an occasion against us for wrongdoing and thereby teach us righteousness thru His judgments.

Isa 26:9 With my soul have I desired thee in the night; yea, with my spirit within me will I seek thee early: for when thy judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness.

We do not learn the true ways of the Lord unless and until our day of judgment comes. To the blessed few, that is in this life, in this AION (life).

1Pe 4:17 For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?  (they will be judged too in their appointed times)

Understanding that judgment is the way we come to possess eternal (Aionious) life is fundamental to growing in the grace and knowledge of the Lord.  Indeed that is the only way we will “then know He is the Lord”.   The Scriptures tell us over and over again that we will not know the Lord unless and until we live thru His righteous judgments against our sinful flesh and carnal mind.

The very definition of Eternal Life is to know Him and the Father.

Joh 17:3 And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.

Living thru the wrath of God on our old man and carnal mind, as painful as it is, being tormented in the presence of the lamb and His Elect angels is a very good thing.  Wonderful for the new man and development of Christ in us, but a very bad thing for the old man who must be destroyed within us,

Psa 19:9 The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether.

Psa 19:10 More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.

All the churches of men I grew up in taught that salvation meant avoiding all of this. Yet the truth be told, the exact opposite is the truth.  Nobody will ever know Jesus Christ until and unless they experience that wrath against their old man, carnal nature and innate lusts that make of these marred vessels of clay we first possess.  Here is a profound truth if one can receive it.

Rev 15:8 And the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God, and from his power; and no man was able to enter into the temple (Into Christ), till the seven plagues of the seven angels were fulfilled.

So the answer to this age-old carnal question about why we are given commandments to obey even though we have no free will is that this is the Lord’s way of bringing judgment upon us which is the way salvation comes to us in our appointed times.

Maybe now the dichotomy of these two verses which seem to conflict with one another can be understood.

Php 2:12 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

Php 2:13 For it is God (not your free will) which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.

Maybe now one can begin to see the mystery of how the Lord works, how He causes us to obey Him by the scourging and chastening of His true grace.

Eze 36:27 And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.

We are given commandments by the Lord and He knows full well we will not keep them initially and in doing so, judgment is brought against us and that is how we learn His true ways.  This Scripture applies to all of God’s Elect, His Christ in which Christ appears the second time for salvation apart from sin.

Heb 5:8 Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered;

Just to be clear, Jesus was made sin, yet without sin.  His flesh had to go just as our flesh has to go as it cannot inherit the kingdom of God.  Far beyond me to explain that here but please see these links if you want to know more.  Coming to understand the law of the offerings and what that typifies for us today is essential to grow into the fullness of Christ.

But to us that live in these marred vessels of clay, without the Spirit of God in us the ways of the Lord are indeed foolishness to our natural and carnally minded way of thinking.  If one has been given the spirit and the gift of faith then they will begin to believe the Scriptures, all of them and including this one.

Isa 63:17 O LORD, why hast thou made us to err from thy ways, and hardened our heart from thy fear? Return for thy servants’ sake, the tribes of thine inheritance.

The Lord both makes us to err from His way (disobey) and He also causes us to obey, He the Lord indeed does it all if we only can believe it.

Isa 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.

Eph 1:11
In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:

The depth of the riches of His wisdom and knowledge and judgments cannot be known by the carnal mind, they are only known when we are given to know the mysteries of the kingdom.

Rom 11:33 O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!
Rom 11:34 For who hath known the mind of the Lord? or who hath been his counsellor?

The answer is no carnal man has known the mind of the Lord.  These things are hidden from the world and must be revealed to us, yea even the deep things of God.

1Co 2:9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

1Co 2:10
But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.

Learning Good and Evil Requires Experience

The plan of God remaking the vessel of clay into a new vessel of honor, IN THE APPOINTED TIMES, requires us to learn good and evil. That is the only way we can become like God. We become this way via the process of experiencing good and evil and experiencing the righteous judgment of God.

Gen 3:22 And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:

Ecc 1:13
I applied my heart to inquiring and exploring by wisdom concerning all that is done under the heavens:it is an experience of evil Elohim has given to the sons of humanity to humble them by it.

The Lord must cause us, He must give us this experience of evil for us to learn righteousness and become like Him. We must be shown our own innate wickedness and not just see it in others. To do this, He causes us to stumble.

Pro 24:16 For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief.

We cannot learn good and evil in fullness until our day of judgment begins and we hear the WORD which brings judgment upon our personal earth and heavens,

Heb 5:14 But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

This is why judgment begins at the house of God, the Very Elect in this age and everyone else will be judged later in the lake of fire at the 2nd resurrection. The fire being the word of God that consumed the adversaries of the Lord the day it begins to be heard and understood by spiritual ears and spiritual eyes.

Becoming like God is a blasphemous thought to the carnally minded.  Yet that is exactly what the Lord is doing and what this life and going thru our time of judgment is all about.  The word of God is an offense and stumbling-stone to the carnal mind yet hopefully a few will begin to understand what Jesus was saying and whose words have never passed away.

Joh 10:34  Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?

Joh 10:35  If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken;

In order us to become like gods and learn good and evil, the Lord must give us many experiences both good and evil.

Pro 16:4 The LORD hath made all things for himself: yea, even the wicked for the day of evil.

The Lord caused Samson to marry a Philistine, so He could bring judgment against them. He did this even though it was a clear commandment in the law of Moses not to do so. This concept of judgment and the Lord seeking an occasion is key to knowing God’s plan.

Jdg 14:3 Then his father and his mother said unto him, Is there never a woman among the daughters of thy brethren, or among all my people, that thou goest to take a wife of the uncircumcised Philistines? And Samson said unto his father, Get her for me; for she pleaseth me well.

Jdg 14:4
But his father and his mother knew not that it was of the LORD, that he sought an occasion against the Philistines: for at that time the Philistines had dominion over Israel.

So in due time for all of us, the Lord will seek an occasion to bring judgment against the Philistines that are living in your heart and mind (YOUR HEAVENS). This is how your old man will be decreased so Christ in you can be increased assuming Christ is actually in you.

All that any man does is ALL done in HIM. Our every thought, move and being is from the Lord.

Act 17:28 For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.

The things that do not bring fruit, (our dead works, our sins, etc.) are cut off in due time; but notice these works that get burned up and are taken away are still “in Him

Joh 15:2 Every branch IN ME that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.

Pieces of clay have no say so in what they are molded into by the Lord, He indeed works ALL THINGS.

Rom 9:20 Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why hast thou made me thus?
Rom 9:21 Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour?

The Lord is truly the Potter and He is giving us commands and then remolding and shaping us, teaching us good and evil by His divine ways.  No man chooses to do anything else but what the Lord has determined to do.

Dan 4:35 All the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing; He does according to His will in the army of heaven And among the inhabitants of the earth. No one can restrain His hand Or say to Him, “What have You done?“

There is just so much Scriptures that says this, even this one that reaffirms the plan that all will be saved because that is what the Lord has declared is His desire. We just must wait on the Lord to bring it about just as He has described.

Job 23:13But he is in one mind, and who can turn him? and what his soul desireth, even that he doeth.

Such folly of the carnal mind to think it has free will that flies directly in the face of what sayeth the Scriptures.

Rom 11:36 For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen.

The Lord is indeed “the Lord” and He need absolutely nothing from any of us.

Act 17:25  Neither is worshipped with men’s hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things;

Act 17:26  And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;

So I pray this post has demonstrated the rhyme and reason of the Lord’s ways and doings.  He indeed is working all things for the greater good including creating and causing evil.  This is His MO on how He saves many people alive which will eventually mean all of mankind. Joseph’s brothers doing evil to him typifies how the Lord causes us to err from His ways and to rebel and persecute His Elect at first. But those evil acts, even our very sins are used in the appointed time to bring about good and the salvation of all men.

Gen 50:20 But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive.

Psa
90:3
Thou turnest man to destruction; and sayest, Return, ye children of men.

The Lord is the one who turns us into death and destruction so that in His timing He calls us to return and then brings forth Christ from within us.  This is the plan of God for all men and we just need to have the faith to believe it and wait upon the Lord.

Isa 40:31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

May the Lord give the increase to those HE has prepared their hearts to receive it and opened their ears to hear it.

Psa 10:17 LORD, thou hast heard the desire of the humble: thou wilt prepare their heart, thou wilt cause thine ear to hear:

Your brother in Christ,  PETE

Who Is Responsible For Evil?

Who Is Responsible for Evil?

The absolute sovereignty of God is such an important truth it is useful to remind ourselves often as our own faith will be tested many times to see whom we are holding responsible.  All things are being lived and worked for God’s purposes in Jesus Christ.

Joh 15:5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

1Co 8:6  But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.

Jesus is the Lord of heaven and the earth, both the outward and the inward being Lord of ALL.  The flesh will naturally glory in itself and take credit for its own works be they righteous or unrighteous.  Being converted of these lies will take us a long time and many trials. The Lord has purposed our rebellion and all the evil we will do to teach us in due time.

Isa 1:2 Hear, O heavens, and give ear, O earth: for the LORD hath spoken, I have nourished and brought up children, and they have rebelled against me

Is the Lord just a terrible parent or is our rebellion part of His plan all along?  We don’t have to guess as the Scriptures declare the Lord’s sovereignty in all things even our rebellion. It is the Lord who turns men into destruction, into sin and away from His ways and then in the appointed times calls us back home to Himself.

Psa 90:3  Thou turnest man to destruction; and sayest, Return, ye children of men.

The Lord both turns us away into wicked things and also is the one who grants and causes us to turn back or repent.  He is doing it all.

Php 2:13  For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.

As we grow in faith, our understanding and application of God’s sovereignty in ALL THINGS is also growing proportionately.  Our doubting questions get answered in due time and we learn that we truly do nothing outside of God’s grip on us.  Yes, even the evil we do, our very sins are given to us by the Lord.  Everything from A to Z is the Lord doing it!

Isa 46:10 Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:

Rev 22:13  I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.

It is the fate of all men to first learn the “other jesus” by horribly underestimating the Lord and His sovereignty and exalting the role of man in the affairs of life and the world.  The story of Joseph being sold into Egypt by his brothers is a powerful lesson in how God works evil for good.  At the end the story Joseph tells his brothers it was not really them that did the evil, instead it was God who did it for good in the end.

Gen 50:20 But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive.

The Lord works evil for good. Look at how powerful and expansive the one true God that only the Elect know who is not dependent upon his creation for anything.

Act 17:24  God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands;

Act 17:25  Neither is worshipped with men’s hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things;

Act 17:26  And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;

Act 17:27  That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us:

Act 17:28  For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.

The Truth of God working evil has always been right in front of us, yet we were blinded to see it until we are given the gift of faith and spiritual ears to hear and eyes to see. It is our ability to show these pivotal truths to those God brings to us that opens the eyes of a brother and sister and heals them of their spiritual blindness.  Let’s look at some of the black and white verses about the origins of evil.

Isa 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.

It does not get any clearer than Isa 45:7 but when we show most this Scripture they are dumbstruck.  But there are more, many more witnesses to this immutable truth.

Amo 3:6  Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?

Pro 16:4 The LORD hath made all things for himself: yea, even the wicked for the day of evil.

Lam 3:38  Out of the mouth of the most High proceedeth not evil and good?

We will be hated for merely suggesting this most basic truth, yet there will be a few who are given to find the narrow way.  The Lord tells us He makes wicked people on purpose.

The Purpose of Evil

We must experience evil to learn about evil as indeed to become like God’s we must know both good and evil.  Knowing good and evil is of paramount importance for God’s Elect and why we are made to sin.

Gen 3:22 And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:

Heb 5:14 But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

Evil is used of the Lord to give opportunity to chasten us and to bring judgment, the very process and fiery grace that will save all men (Eph 2:8).

Ecc 1:13 (CLV) I applied my heart to inquiring and exploring by wisdom concerning all that is done under the heavens: it is an experience of evil Elohim has given to the sons of humanity to humble them by it.

Jer 2:19  Thine own wickedness shall correct thee, and thy backslidings shall reprove thee: know therefore and see that it is an evil thing and bitter, that thou hast forsaken the LORD thy God, and that my fear is not in thee, saith the Lord GOD of hosts.

This truth is everywhere once our eyes are open to see it.  Who purposefully planted the tree of the knowledge of good and evil right in front of Adam and Eve?

Gen 2:9 And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

Who conceived David and by extension all mankind in sin from birth?

Psa 51:5  Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me

Who added the crooked serpent to tempt Adam and Eve in the weakness of their carnal mind and sinful flesh?  Satan is the epitome of evil and look who made Satan.

Gen 3:1 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made.

Job 26:13 By his spirit he hath garnished the heavens; his hand hath formed the crooked serpent.

Sending Forth of Evil Spirits

It is the Lord who commands and sends forth Satan and his messengers (evil spirits) to accomplish His will in our lives.  The story of Job is perhaps the best example demonstrating the Lord commanding the evil to work His work within us.

Job 1:6 Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them.

Job 1:7 And the LORD said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.

Job 1:8 And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil?

Job 1:9 Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, Doth Job fear God for nought?

Job 1:10 Hast not thou made an hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side? thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land.

Job 1:11 But put forth thine hand now, and touch all that he hath, and he will curse thee to thy face.

Job 1:12 And the LORD said unto Satan, Behold, all that he hath is in thy power; only upon himself put not forth thine hand. So Satan went forth from the presence of the LORD.

Satan and his demons are nothing more than servants of the Lord.  He is using them, His own creation, to bring about good and to accomplish all his good pleasure in our lives.  Let’s check in at the end of the book and see how the experience ends.   Evil was worked for good.

Job 42:11  Then came there unto him all his brethren, and all his sisters, and all they that had been of his acquaintance before, and did eat bread with him in his house: and they bemoaned him, and comforted him over all the evil that the LORD had brought upon him: every man also gave him a piece of money, and every one an earring of gold.

Job 42:12  So the LORD blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning ….

Here is a verse most have never seen and hate in defense of the false doctrines that God has nothing to do with evil.

Psa 78:49 He cast upon them the fierceness of his anger, wrath, and indignation, and trouble, by sending evil angels among them.

Psalm 78 is not talking about the bad people out there. It is talking about ISREAL, God’s own people and you and me if we are God’s people.  The Lord sends evil spirits to His own people. The Lord is doing it, He is working all things for good in the end, even sending evil. This is the truth and you are blessed to remove the plank that represents the lie that God is not responsible and is not the author of evil, maybe you will begin to see the truth much more clearly. Here are a couple of more, but there are many others in the sum of God’s word.

1Sa 19:9 And the evil spirit from the LORD was upon Saul, as he sat in his house with his javelin in his hand: and David played with his hand.

1Ki 22:23 Now therefore, behold, the LORD hath put a lying spirit in the mouth of all these thy prophets, and the LORD hath spoken evil concerning thee.

Jdg 9:23 Then God sent an evil spirit between Abimelech and the men of Shechem; and the men of Shechem dealt treacherously with Abimelech:

Who was behind the crucifixion of our Lord Jesus Christ which was the most evil act of all time?  The Scriptures tell us the Truth that is was God who orchestrated the death of Jesus Christ.

Act 4:26  The kings of the earth stood up, and the rulers were gathered together against the Lord, and against his Christ.

Act 4:27  For of a truth against thy holy child Jesus, whom thou hast anointed, both Herod, and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles, and the people of Israel, were gathered together,

Act 4:28  For to do whatsoever thy hand and thy counsel determined before to be done.

Many in orthodoxy (our ministry field) can easily believe that the Lord is responsible for tornado’s and hurricanes and outward things, but cannot make the connection about the inward events in our heavens and earth.  Evangelizing we learn quickly to wait on the Lord to bring us those prepared who have had their eyes and ears opened to receive the truth.

Pro 20:12  The hearing ear, and the seeing eye, the LORD hath made even both of them.

Psa 10:17  LORD, thou hast heard the desire of the humble: thou wilt prepare their heart, thou wilt cause thine ear to hear:

When one is so blessed the concept of God’s sovereignty greatly expands and are given power over all the lies and false doctrines (spirits) and our spiritual healing begins.

Luk 10:21  In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in thy sight.

All Things Truly is All Things

We already shown the truth via multiple witnesses but know there are many more to support this pivotal truth that apart from the Lord we truly do nothing.  It is blasphemy to speak truth in an orthodox Babylonian setting and especially to suggests that man is not responsible for his own sin.  But what say the Scripture?

Isa 63:17 O LORD, why hast thou made us to err from thy ways, and hardened our heart from thy fear? Return for thy servants’ sake, the tribes of thine inheritance.

Pro 16:1  The preparations of the heart in man, and the answer of the tongue, is from the LORD.

Pro 16:9  A man’s heart deviseth his way: but the LORD directeth his steps.

Jer 10:23  O LORD, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps.

Psa 37:23  The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way.

The New and the Old Testament agree and truth (treasure) is found in both to prove via the sum of God’s Word what the Truth is (Psa 119:160 ASV).

Eph 1:11  In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:

Rom 11:36  For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever.

The Lord made all things and works all things all the time. He is not a Plan B God that responds and reacts to the messes that man makes.  ALL THINGS means exactly what it says and as one grows in the truth faith, your boundaries of all things will continue to expand.

Col 1:16  For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

Col 1:17  And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

Col 1:18  And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.

Col 1:19  For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell;

Col 1:20  And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.

When we read about Israel’s rebellion and doing evil against the Lord, we are reading about OUR rebellion and the evil we are doing.  The Scriptures make clear that Israel sin and rebellion was caused by the Lord.

Jer 32:42 For thus saith the LORD; Like as I have brought all this great evil upon this people, so will I bring upon them all the good that I have promised them.

Living in the vine, the Lord causes things to bear fruit (good) and some to not bear fruit (evil).  But the point is, even the bad things are done in Christ and all work towards the greater good of bearing more fruit in the end.

Joh 15:2 Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.

Rom 9:21 Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour?

All things are caused by the Lord.  Whether it be our obedience unto life or our sinning unto death.  It is all His work in us and will all be used to teach and correct us in our day of the Lord which is our day of judgment.

Isa 26:9  With my soul have I desired thee in the night; yea, with my spirit within me will I seek thee early: for when thy judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness.

Heb 12:6 For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.

Judgment is the true grace which is chastening us and teaching us the right ways of God in response to us first doing it the wrong way and disobeying.

Tit 2:11  For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,

Tit 2:12  Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;

The pouring out of grace (judgment) by the implanted truth was the promise of the New Covenant and how the Lord is working righteousness and causing us to obey Him.

Eze 36:27  And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.

The Lord causes us to err and stumble in judgment.  In the same way a child learn by making mistakes and be disciplined, so it is in the spiritual and how we learn.

Psa 119:66  Teach me good judgment and knowledge: for I have believed thy commandments.

Psa 119:67  Before I was afflicted I went astray: but now have I kept thy word.

God raises up evil within us so God’s wrath (scourging) will rightly fall upon our old man and destroy the wickedness that is innate in our marred flesh (Jer 18:4).  The story of Nathan exposing David for his adultery is our story and our spiritual adultery will be confronted and judged when our day of the Lord has come.

2Sa 12:10 Now therefore the sword shall never depart from thine house; because thou hast despised me, and hast taken the wife of Uriah the Hittite to be thy wife.

2Sa 12:11 Thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will raise up evil against thee out of thine own house  ….

These acts of the Lord are His mercy and are the wonderful works of God to the children of men (Psalm 107) that bring us to our wits end where we cry out for a Saviour.  Seeing the evil within and our need for a Saviour is a necessary prerequisite of salvation and the Lord’s mercy.

The story of Samson intermarrying with a forbidden Philistine is our story as are all the stories of good and evil in the Bible.  For brevity, we won’t cover that story but we are told the Lord did it so He could have the occasion to bring judgment upon our flesh and the Philistine nations and mindset within us (Luk 17:21).

Jdg 14:4 But his father and his mother knew not that it was of the LORD, that he sought an occasion against the Philistines: for at that time the Philistines had dominion over Israel.

God’s chosen people, His Elect and the Spiritual Jews are those being made righteous by His judgments.  Our trials and all the evil we are given to endure are working for the counsel of His will to remake us into mature sons of God.

Psa 34:19  Many are the EVILS (“Ra” not afflictions) of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all.

Evil being manifest within us is necessary for us to be stripped of the self-righteousness of the law that we all find first in trying to perfect ourselves in our own strength.  But when judgment has come to God’s house, which house His Elect are, then we will not be able to stand and will come to see that we are the man of sin, an abomination and in great need of a Spiritual Physician.

Rom 7:24 O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?

Ecc 3:18 I said in mine heart concerning the estate of the sons of men, that God might manifest them, and that they might see that they themselves are beasts.

Mat 24:15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)

CONCLUSION

Contrary to Billy Graham’s famous sermon after 911, where he unequivocally said “The Bible says God is not the author of evil”, God most certainly is the author of evil as the Scriptures declare. If one is so blessed (Mat 13:17) to begin to see and receive the truth of God’s working all things, even evil things; then one is being made ready to lose their old way of life and learn a new one via grace.  The world indeed looks different viewed through the lenses of faith and the truth of the Scriptures.  We are being made into the image of Jesus Christ who knew what we are learning.

Joh 5:19  Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.

We need to be wise with whom and how we share these truths not cast pearls to swine or engage with heretics. We also need to be prepared for rejection, persecution and false accusations that we are promoting sin with our doctrine.  Finally, even though God works all things even evil, we are commanded to strive and resist evil at every opportunity. The sum of God’s word makes clear we are to be careful to maintain good works and not turn God’s grace into lasciviousness and an excuse for living in sin.

Gal 2:17  But if, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners, is therefore Christ the minister of sin? God forbid.

A servant of Jesus Christ,

What Is Man’s Role In Salvation?

The quick and true answer is NO ROLE.  Man has absolutely NO ROLE in salvation. NONE. NADA, ZIP. There is not one Scripture properly divided that says otherwise. This is the truth.  Earlier this year as I wrote on this blog, I asked a Babylonian minister to send me his definitions of the basic tenants of God.  He sent me to a web page that was titled Man’s Role vs. God’s Role In Salvation.   Unbelievable the heresy on that page but the man had no ears and did not hear my rebuke or correction so I moved on as commanded.  But I had always wanted to write a quick post to lay out the truth and expose the total absolute carnality of the thoughts and logic that man has any role in his salvation.  Men will do things that is for sure, but the power and causation of what we do is always from the Lord.  Putting the sum of thy word together makes clear what is truth.

Jon 2:9Salvation is of the LORD!

The Lord alone has devised and orchestrates the action to bring his plans to completion right on His timetable.

2Sa 14:14  For we must needs die, and are as water spilt on the ground, which cannot be gathered up again; neither doth God respect any person: yet doth he devise means, that his banished be not expelled from him.

If we can simply come to the word of God as a little child and be taught the truth and simply believe what the Scriptures say. Few are given this ability to see and apply simple truths on a macro scale. It really is this simple.

Eph 1:11 In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:

2Co 5:18 And all things are of God

Rom 11:36 For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen.

Act 17:28 For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring

Joh_3:35 The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into his hand.

Carnal minds have twisted and perverted the word of God and leavened all the doctrines. What carnal minds cannot see is that everything required of salvation, is something the Lord gives or imposes upon man. We will briefly review this below and even see that the Lord even made covenant with us, we do nothing, it is all HIM and He changes not.

Faith – That is given to man, the few chosen by God for now. No flesh will be boasting it saved itself.

Eph 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that (the faith) not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

Eph 2:9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

The Lord is going to make crystal clear to you via the process of judgment, when that day comes, that you have nothing to do with your salvation or faith.  If any part of you thinks you have a role in it, you don’t yet know the Lord in spirit.  God cannot use anyone that thinks they bring anything to the table.  We will be humbled and made meek and no flesh shall glory in the Lord when we are judged.  All men will learn this the hard way.  We all will live by every word and will be confounded by the wisdom of God and shown the utter folly of carnal logic and thinking we bring anything to the table.

1Co 1:27 But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise (you and me) ; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty (our prideful beast);

1Co 1:28 And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are:

1Co 1:29 That no flesh should glory in his presence.

Men thinking they choose God in any way shape or form, even receiving the “free gift” is carnal delusion.  This deception enables  the self righteous beast that all of us are at heart to sit on God’s throne and deceive us into thinking we serve God but we are actually working in opposition to the Lord not knowing we are that man of sin.

2Th 2:4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

Repentance – This is granted, it is GIVEN to those God has chosen, His very Elect, Israel.

Act 5:31 Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.

Act 11:18 When they heard these things they became silent; and they glorified God, saying, “Then God has also granted to the Gentiles repentance to life.

Of course knowing who is Israel and who are the Gentiles is important to know what is being said here.  There are only two types of people, Jews and Gentiles and even the Gentiles are Jews in waiting; awaiting the appointed time for their judgment thru which all men will be saved and all of God’s creation restored back to Him.

Rom 11:26  And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:

Man repents only and  because we are granted and given repentance not because our flesh desires to repent on it’s own.  As we will see our very thoughts are given to us by God but know it is HIS goodness that leads us to repentance.  Our free will has nothing to do with it since free will is strong delusion!

Rom 2:4 Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?

Obedience – Our flesh is incapable of obeying God and He will first prove that to us by bringing judgment upon us to humble us. We obey because HE causes us to obey, it is Christ in us doing it, it is not us. anything else, the belief in free will is strong delusion.  It is this judgment, the scourging that is the chastening that defines what the true grace of God actually is.

Eze 36:27 And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.

Heb 12:6 For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.

Psa 23:2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.

What the carnal mind cannot understand is that we can do nothing, EVEN SIN, outside of the will of God. Apart from Jesus we do nothing.

Joh 15:1 I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.

Joh 15:2 Every branch in me that beareth not fruit (i.e. sinful passions) he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.

Joh 15:3 Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.

Joh 15:4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.

Joh 15:5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do NOTHING. (even sin, nothing is nothing)

This all part of the wonderful works of God to the children of men. The Potter is doing it all, molding the clay, causing good and evil, causing obedience and disobedience. Free will has no place in God’s kingdom and is strong carnal delusion.

Isa 63:17 O LORD, why hast thou made us to err from thy ways, and hardened our heart from thy fear? Return for thy servants’ sake, the tribes of thine inheritance.

The evil within, in the kingdom of God in our cities within is all of the Lord.

Amo 3:6  Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?

Isa 45:7  I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.

Pro 16:4  The LORD hath made all things for himself: yea, even the wicked for the day of evil.

The carnal mind and 99.9% of those that call themselves Christians will not receive this and will think it is blasphemy. Yet nowhere does the Bible ever say man is responsible for anything. What it does say is God is working in us to do all that we do.

Php 2:13 For it is God (it is not YOU) which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.

HE will work all His good pleasure and it has already been declared.  God is not subject to man’s will.

Isa 46:10 Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:

Giving an account is not being responsible. The fact is, the Potter is responsible and we are just clay in His hands. We can do nothing, not even sin, outside of His will. Blasphemy blasphemy will yell the carnal mind that know not the Scripture. He is the one directing our every step. We be it good or evil are all the works of his hands. People can read these Scriptures 1000 times yet, say God is Sovereign but then claim man has free will. What utter delusion.

Isa 64:8 But now, O LORD, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand.

Jer 10:23 O LORD, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps.

The fact is, our very thoughts, every one of them, is given to us by God. That is an all powerful God few believe.

Amo 4:13 For, lo, he that formeth the mountains, and createth the wind, and declareth unto man what is his thought, that maketh the morning darkness, and treadeth upon the high places of the earth, The LORD, The God of hosts, is his name.

God gives us the very words we speak, all of them.

Pro 16:1 The preparations of the heart in man, and the answer of the tongue, is from the LORD.

Isa 57:19 I (the Lord) create the fruit of the lips

Men that think God needs something from them, do not know the Lord. They follow another jesus.

Act 17:25 Neither is worshipped with men’s hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things;

Act 17:26 And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;

Act 17:27 That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us:

Act 17:28 For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.

I did not cover every aspect/requirement for salvation as that is not practical and indeed there are many.  A dear brother just put up a great post regarding LOVE and if the Lord coerces us to love.  Hopefully, the truth is obvious now as ALL THINGS certainly includes love.

God Even Makes Covenant For Us

Man does not choose God, God chooses man. Amazing how Babylonian ministers have invented this idea of accepting Jesus into your heart as the way of salvation. Christ had a different truth which was….

Joh 15:16Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you,

The stories about Israel are not a history lesson people.  They are examples for how God works with all men in the age of Christ.  In fact those words in the OT were not even written for the people that lived back then, they we written for God’s Elect that would come later (See 1 Peter 1:10-12 if you doubt this).  But know the Lord even brings us into covenant.  We don’t choose Him, He makes us lie down in His green pastures. Where is the YOU in the picture?

Eze 20:33 As I live, saith the Lord GOD, surely with a mighty hand, and with a stretched out arm, and with fury poured out, will I rule over you:

God Almighty does not need to ask our permission to rule over us!  LOL

Eze 20:34 And I will bring you out from the people, and will gather you out of the countries wherein ye are scattered, with a mighty hand, and with a stretched out arm, and with fury poured out.
Eze 20:35 And I will bring you into the wilderness of the people, and there will I plead with you face to face.
Eze 20:36 Like as I pleaded with your fathers in the wilderness of the land of Egypt, so will I plead with you, saith the Lord GOD.
Eze 20:37And I will cause you to pass under the rod, and I will bring you into the bond of the covenant:
Eze 20:38 And I will purge out from among you the rebels, and them that transgress against me: I will bring them forth out of the country where they sojourn, and they shall not enter into the land of Israel: and ye shall know that I am the LORD.

There is no YOU in the process.  The LORD does it all.  He purges out the sin,  He destroys the rebels that live within His kingdom.  He pleads with us thru fiery judgment.  There are NO YOU WILL’s, it is all I WILL says the Lord.  Those that see man being responsible in any way do not see the sovereignty of God and are yet carnal.  Man thinking he saves himself by choosing Christ is nothing more than the our self righteous beast wanted to give God part credit but not all the credit.

We see this immutable fact throughout Scripture. Not one person on their own initiative sought out and found the Lord. The Lord came to all of them, Abraham, Noah, Paul, all the disciples were chosen out of the world. They had no choice in the matter, that is contrary to all the Scriptures.

Joh 15:19 If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.

Even those that come out of Babylon are chosen of God and dragged out. So says the Scripture.

Ezr 1:5 Then rose up the chief of the fathers of Judah and Benjamin, and the priests, and the Levites, with all them whose spirit God had raised, to go up to build the house of the LORD which is in Jerusalem.

Hag 1:14 So the LORD stirred up the spirit of Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and the spirit of Joshua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest, and the spirit of all the remnant of the people (THE ELECT); and they came and worked on the house of the LORD of hosts, their God,

There is no room for free will in any of this. It is the Lord’s work. He stirs up our spirits and that is what leads us to Him and to work in building His House. The story is consistent, the truth changes not. Here we have the Israelite s (type for God’s Elect) being stirred up and being MADE WILLING to build the House for God.

Exo 35:21And they came, every one whose heart stirred him up, and every one whom his spirit made willing, and they brought the LORD’S offering to the work of the tabernacle of the congregation, and for all his service, and for the holy garments.

God makes us willing. He gives us every single desire of our heart, be it for good or evil. He is the Potter. The Lord even makes covenant for us as we see in the story of Abram.

Gen 15:17 And it came to pass, that, when the sun went down, and it was dark, behold a smoking furnace, and a burning lamp that passed between those pieces.

Gen 15:18 In the same day the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying, Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates:

What was Abram’s part? Nothing. The Lord did it all. You can see the same for Noah and it is the same for all of God’s Elect, we were chosen before the world was formed. God did it and in the appointed time, the burning lamp and fiery furnace that represents the judgment of God against our flesh and carnal mind will come and the process of being made new will begin.

Act 14:22 Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.

ALL THINGS ARE OF GOD. No man can come to Him unless it is given to them and they are dragged to Christ. Yet despite clear words that speak, this, it is the false gospels that are believed and followed by the billions of Christians. They are living blind, under strong delusion, letting carnal babes rules over them.

Joh 6:65 And he said, Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father.

Joh 6:44 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me drag him: and I will raise him up at the last day.

The whomsoever will are the ones God has chosen, the same ones to whom IT IS GIVEN to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God.

Mat 13:11 He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.

I hope your ears and eyes are blessed of the Lord and you understand what I am saying and see it in the word.

Mat 13:16 But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear.

It is given to very few as many are called and few are chosen. The few chosen are dragged out of this world to Christ. If you look into it, you will see all those verses that say man has to do X, Y or Z and then you “might” be saved. The word MIGHT was added, it is not there in the Greek. It was added by blind carnal translators who gave us the KJV bible written to support their false gospels and other jesus. The church had fallen away long before the Bible was even finished being written. Yet everyone assumes the falling away is out there in the future, not even considering they were born into it, blind as bats.

1Jn 4:1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

1Jn 4:2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:

1Jn 4:3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

I see many people, my own family reading many Christian books that sound good and look good to the carnal mind. But one can spot these wolves a mile away when you see things in the covers or the titles of the book that speak to man having a role in salvation. You see all these statements saying, you must go all in for Christ, that is all nonsense, it is denying the Lord and exalting man. Here is what Christ says to them.

Mat 22:29 Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.

Run from these deceivers who look oh so good in the flesh. They preach another jesus and if you follow them and get caught up into doing many fleshly good works and think they are your own, this is where you are at.

Mat 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

Mat 7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

Mat 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

When Will We Know We Have No Role?

Until and unless ones come to see that free will is strong delusion, they don’t know God nor Christ except in the flesh. God has to drag us thru that veil of flesh and thru His fiery trials and judgments, then and only then will we know He is the Lord. Interesting to note the “WHEN” we shall know He is the Lord. It is when Christ appears to us and begins to grind us to powder.

Mat 21:44 And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.

Ezekiel 7:9  And mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity: I will recompense thee according to thy ways and thine abominations that are in the midst of thee; and ye shall know that I am the LORD that smiteth.

It is by this process of judgment, the strange work of the Lord that we come to know Him.

Until we look behind in our walk after judgment has fallen upon us, we will never be able to see this all as the Lord’s work.  We don’t learn righteousness until judgment comes to our earth and then we will learn what being Lord really means.

Isa 26:9when thy judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness.

Exo 6:6 Wherefore say unto the children of Israel, I am the LORD, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will rid you out of their bondage, and I will redeem you with a stretched out arm, and with great judgments:

I thank God the Lord has not had pity as otherwise we would stay right where we are in the world playing church. We would therefore NEVER KNOW HIM. Far better to pay the cost of count of the blessing of being a chosen disciple even if it costs you everything the world so highly esteems. Carrying a cross is painful to our flesh, it will bring great sorrow. JOB came to see this.

Ezekiel 7:27 The king shall mourn, and the prince shall be clothed with desolation, and the hands of the people of the land shall be troubled: I will do unto them after their way, and according to their deserts will I judge them; and they shall know that I am the LORD.

Ezekiel 11:10 Ye shall fall by the sword; I will judge you in the border of Israel; and ye shall know that I am the LORD.

Ezekiel 12:15 And they shall know that I am the LORD, WHEN I shall scatter them among the nations, and disperse them in the countries.

Ezekiel 30:26 And I will scatter the Egyptians among the nations, and disperse them among the countries; and they shall know that I am the LORD.

Until we live thru these days, we will believe in free will and while we will call Jesus Lord, we will NOT know Him and that He truly, really is Lord. Not only do birds not fall from the sky outside of His will but we don’t have a thought, speak a word, take a step or do anything outside of His will either. That is God Almighty. The Lord believed by Babylonians is a puny weak pathetic God, that cannot even get His own will done and save everyone.

2Pe 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

The Lord Really Is Lord!!

The definition of LORD of Lords and King of Kings needs to be elevated from what we knew when we were yet carnal and devoid of true knowledge. The Lord really is Lord of the heavens and the earth. These speak not of physical things, as heaven is our hearts and minds and the earth is the church. Christ does not allow anything nor does He revert to plan B and then clean up the messes the free will of men supposedly make. That is all carnal nonsense. The Lord is the Lord and everything that happens in heaven and in the earth which all comes about by the HIS WILL. His will is being done, no matter what happens. He stretches forth the heavens and the earth and again this is not speaking of physical things, it refers to spiritual things, the things unseen.

Isa 44:24 Thus saith the LORD, thy redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb, I am the LORD that maketh all things; that stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth by myself

Zec 12:1 The burden of the word of the LORD for Israel, saith the LORD, which stretcheth forth the heavens, and layeth the foundation of the earth, and formeth the spirit of man within him.

The Lord is the master potter and we are indeed the clay as are all things Christ created which is all things. We are doing exactly what the Lord has written for our lives, every one of us. It was all written before there were any days existing. The end was indeed declared from the beginning.

Psa 139:16 Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.

It takes the gift of faith to believe that. It takes the gift of faith to believe Jesus really truly is the Lord. He is and I hope you will believe. The Lord even must give us the ears to hear and eyes to discern HIS truths and believe this word. SALVATION IS OF THE LORD. If you hear or read of anyone giving to man the responsibility to take action to save themselves; you are listening or reading a false prophet and a wolf in sheep’s clothing. There is none better at sending wolves in sheep’s clothing then the Lord. He is the master of disguise. They don’t call it strong delusion for nothing.

2Th 2:11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

Which Christ do you follow? Is your Christ dependent upon pieces of clay He made and molds and directs every step to do anything? or is your Christ so powerful and sitting as LORD ruling in the heavens and on the earth, in absolute charge of all things that happen. I hope the latter and you will begin to believe the Scriptures, which state this hundreds of times.

Rom 11:36 For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen.

If one will try the spirits that speak or claim man has any role in salvation, using the SUM OF THY WORD and bringing forth treasures out of the old and the new testament, it is clear for those with eyes to see and ears to here, that man has absolutely no role in his salvation. SALVATION IS INDEED OF THE LORD. And lest we forget what salvation means. It means to be delivered from the power of sin, it does not mean avoiding eternal hell. Look at this promise of the New Covenant. There is NO YOU DO ANYTHING, it is all I WILL SAYS THE LORD. He causes us to obey HIM, HE delivers us from sin. That is salvation!!!!!!!

Eze 36:23 And I will sanctify my great name, which was profaned among the heathen, which ye have profaned in the midst of them; and the heathen shall know that I am the LORD, saith the Lord GOD, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes.

Eze 36:24 For I will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries, and will bring you into your own land.

Eze 36:25 Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.

Eze 36:26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.

Eze 36:27 And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.

Eze 36:28 And ye shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and ye shall be my people, and I will be your God.

Eze 36:29 I will also save you from all your uncleannesses: and I will call for the corn, and will increase it, and lay no famine upon you.

Eze 36:30 And I will multiply the fruit of the tree, and the increase of the field, that ye shall receive no more reproach of famine among the heathen.

AGAIN WE SEE THAT GOD IS DOING IT ALL.  100% of it.  YOU HAVE NO ROLE IN IT.

The Same Lump of Clay

I got a condescending message where the man totally twisted some powerful scripture to support the false doctrines he believes.   This is the second and final time I will respond to the man to whom I have shared the sincere milk of this word and corrected his assertions of several false doctrines unless the Lord grants to him repentance.

I decided to use his promotion of Romans 9 Scripture to prove his false doctrine as a teaching moment for those the Lord may be dragging.  Understanding what these Romans 9 verses actually mean is essential to knowing the true nature of the Lord and God’s plan for all men.

Question From G_______: Sure the Lord is the potter but some vessels are made to dishonor and some to honor as these verses tell us from Romans 9. God is not going to save everyone.

Romans 9:21-24Does not the potter have power over the clay, from the same lump to make one vessel for honor and another for dishonour? What if God, wanting to show His wrath and to make His power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath prepared for destruction, and that He might make known the riches of His glory on the vessels of mercy, which He had prepared beforehand for glory, even us whom He called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles?”

ANSWER: Dear G______ I find it ironic that the very verses you gave to me speak of UNIVERSAL SALVATION but you can’t even see that. The truth that all men will be saved thru Christ is right here in this passage.  In particular I am going to explore the bolded areas below from this passage that tell a great truth if one can see it.  God is not some monster wanting to pour His wrath out on us as the eternal torment doctrine teaches.  His wrath is poured out on those HE loves, it is the way salvation comes to all men in their appointed time.  Secondly, you do not understand what is meant by the word Jew and Gentile in Romans 9 and that lack of understanding will keep  you from seeing a clear “good news” message in the verses you cited.

What if God, wanting to show His wrath and to make His power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath prepared for destruction, and that He might make known the riches of His glory on the vessels of mercy, which He had prepared beforehand for glory, even us whom He called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles?

The Scriptures cited tell us God wants to show His wrath, He desires to make His power known and He will have us all to come to know the fact that He is the LORD.  A Lord of anything means He is in absolute charge of everything that happens.  Jesus is the LORD yet billions just give that fact lip service, they don’t know what being Lord means.  What the carnal mind cannot understand in its strong delusion is that Christ really is the Lord and that means He causes all things that happen to happen. In fact all Scriptures that speak to us coming to know He is the Lord speak to us going thru the wrath of God against our sins and carnal nature. That is how we come to know His true character and understand His purposes in all things. If this is not happening to you, it means you are not now a son of God and are a bastard, an illegitimate son.

Heb 12:6 For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.
Heb 12:7 If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?
Heb 12:8 But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.

The scourging and chastening is God’s wrath.  This is the righteous judgment of God poured out on our flesh which is how we all learn righteousness.

Isa 26:9 … for when thy judgments are in the earth (and not one moment prior) , the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness.

and we are that earth, this speaks of our bodies and our minds.

Jer 22:29 O earth, earth, earth, hear the word of the LORD.

Heretofore you could not see it and maybe you still can’t?  This is because false doctrines like the Trinity doctrine, eternal torment and man having free will, are keeping you blinded and solidly under the influence of Babylonian doctrines.  This is the Lord’s doing as He is the only one who can open ears and eyes and give the understanding of the truth.  We have no say so in that.  The Babylonian teaching that anyone can pick up a Bible and read and teach themselves the truth is a lie.  All of it is written in parables and the events themselves are parables and that is to hide the meaning so said the Lord.

Mat 13:10 And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables?
Mat 13:11 He answered and said unto them, Because it is GIVEN unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not GIVEN.
Mat 13:12 For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath.
Mat 13:13 Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.

So it is not your fault but you are not currently in the truth and are believing the lies of Babylon.  Everyone one of your doctrines is based on the apostate church and is what we all learn when we first come to Christ. But it is another jesus and a different gospel. We must live by every word God spoke and that includes first being deceived and walking in strong delusion once we come to know Christ in the flesh. The Lord will have mercy on us all in our appointed times but know what Christ said about why He came into this world.

Joh 9:39 And Jesus said, For judgment I am come into this world, that they which see not might see; and that they which see might be made blind.
Joh 9:40 And some of the Pharisees which were with him heard these words, and said unto him, Are we blind also?
Joh 9:41 Jesus said unto them, If ye were blind, ye should have no sin: but now ye say, We see; therefore your sin remaineth.

All the time we claim we see we are blind. Unless and until the Lord shows us via our own road to Damascus experience, we are still in darkness and separated from the truth by the veil of flesh and our sins remain. A big problem in your theology is that you do not currently know who is true jew and by extension who are the gentiles. I will help you with that Lord willing.

Rom 2:28 FOR HE IS NOT A JEW, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh:
Rom 2:29 But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

Here is another witness to what matters and tells us clearly who is ISRAEL in this age.

Gal 6:15 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth anything, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature.
Gal 6:16 and as many as walk according to this rule, peace be on them, and mercy, and upon the Israel of God.

Lastly,  these words of Christ are some we must commit to our memory.  Being a Jew in the flesh profits itself NOTHING.

Joh 6:63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

So when you read Romans 9 as you cited to me and forget who a real Jew is, you don’t understand what is being said. If you could only keep this truth in your head when you look at Scripture maybe you would be given to understand what Paul actually said in Romans 9. What Paul said is that God will make known the riches of His glory (which is Christ in you, the hope of Glory), not only to the true Jews (God’s Elect now, the true Jews who are one inwardly) but eventually to everyone else who is not now a Jew (i.e. THE GENTILES or anotherwords ALL MEN). There are only two types of men, Jews and Gentiles. Those in the covenant of faith and those that are not. Eventually all will be real “jews” but we will have to wait until the lake of fire for the multitudes to be brought into the true faith.

And what you do not realize or believe is that the process of salvation, Christ being formed in us, comes with the wrath of God being poured out on the first adam, the marred vessel of clay that cannot nor was ever intended to inherit the kingdom of God. No man enters into Christ (the real one) any other way.

Rev 15:8 And the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God, and from his power; and no man was able to enter into the temple, till the seven plagues (OF WRATH) of the seven angels were fulfilled.

Exo 6:6 Wherefore say unto the children of Israel, I am the LORD, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will rid you out of their bondage, and I will redeem you with a stretched out arm, and with great judgments:

God is merciful and patient with the marred vessels of clay HE made thru Jesus Christ. As the Scriptures you shared tell us, the first Adam, the vessel of dishonor is prepared for destruction!!!

In case you missed it, look also right here in the same Romans 9 you cited your Scripture from. You must know who Israel is to have any chance of understanding the Scriptures.

Rom 9:6 Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel:
Rom 9:7 Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called.
Rom 9:8 That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed.

Can it be any clearer? THEY ARE NOT THE CHILDREN OF GOD who are jews of the flesh! This error is a gigantic log in your eye that I am pointing out to you as it was pointed out to me in times past. We all first learn lies and then if the Lord has mercy, those tares are gathered and burned in the fire of the truth of God’s word. You like all of us who come to Christ at first, have been taught by men. You are still in Babylon, infected with the leprosy of their false doctrines. My last post spoke about the need to try the spirits and weed out false doctrines and this error of who is a jew and a gentile is huge.

The verses you cited about the vessels of honor and dishonor are awesome truths if we are given to correctly apply the Scriptures. Here is the passage again you sent me to prove God is not saving everybody and is going to pour his wrath out on these vessels of dishonor.

We, all men are both of these vessels. That is the SAME ONE LUMP. We come into this world as the first adam, marred in the hands of the potter, conceived in a body of sinful flesh. We can’t help but sin as the one lawgiver put the law of sin and death into our members.  Here is a key verse that helps one understand the two vessels from the one lump of clay.

Jer 18:4 And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter: so he made it again another vessel, as seemed good to the potter to make it.

The vessels of honor that you and I at first will assume are that evil man down the street is you and me.   We all are the vessel of dishonor before the Lord in His appointed time remakes us into the vessel of honor that can enter the kingdom of God.  Learn to apply Scripture inwardly.  Who did Paul blame his sinful ways on? It was not him, but sin, the law of “sin and death”  specifically that the potter put into him In fact we are told this twice in Romans 7.

Rom 7:17 Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.

It is not man that does it, all the evil in the world, including every sin is caused by God. All things is all things and yes that includes our very sins.

Isa 63:17  O LORD, why hast thou made us to err from thy ways, and hardened our heart from thy fear? Return for thy servants’ sake, the tribes of thine inheritance.

Pro 16:4 The LORD hath made all things for himself: yea, even the wicked for the day of evil.

Isa 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.

Amo 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city (inward or outward cities), and the LORD hath not done it?

God has not lost control. The devil is not running around loose outside of God’s control, LOL that is all carnal doctrines that result from believing the lies of the harlot.

But this is God’s plan for all men. We come in naked in sinful flesh and then that old man is destroyed in order for the new man, the Lord from heaven to come forth. All men will live this sequence of Scriptures as we will live by every word God spoke.  This explains the two vessels from the one lump and I hope you can believe it.

1Co 15:43 It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:
1Co 15:44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.
1Co 15:45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.
1Co 15:46 Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.
1Co 15:47 The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven.
1Co 15:48 As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.
1Co 15:49 And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.
1Co 15:50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.

All Israel is not Israel right now (only God’s elect are Israel) but in the end All Israel shall be saved which simply means the potter will finish His work and remake all things.

Rev 21:5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.

I hope the Lord will give you the right spirit and open your ears to receive His truths and grant you the same repentance He granted to me from my former ignorance. If you have sincere questions please submit them to me but know this commandment given to servants of the Lord.

2Ti 2:24 And the servant of the Lord must not strive (quarrel); but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient,
2Ti 2:25 In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance (Given to men, no free will involved) to the acknowledging of the truth;
2Ti 2:26 And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.
