The Meat Offering

The Meat Offering

(Compiled from notes and posted studies)

This offering commonly called the “meat” offering in the KJV is also known as the “meal” offering or “grain” offering as transcribed by various translations.  This is the second of the five different kinds of offerings given to Israel through Moses in the Book of Leviticus.  Together there these five offerings are known as the LAW OF THE OFFERINGS.

We continue in this study series remembering the words of Peter (1Pe 1:10-12) and Paul (1Co 10:11) that all of these events, stories and rituals are for our spiritual edification and learning.  The meat offering symbolizes our service to the Lord and to our fellow man.  We can see the truth of what our reasonable service (Rom 12:1) is through these shadows of the truth that was given under the Old Covenant.

This Offering differs from all the other Offerings in that there is NO life being given. So there are no herd, flock or fowl categories in this Offering. Instead it has four parts of one Offering: it was composed of 1) flour, 2) oil, 3) frankincense and 4) salt. Each of these parts reveals more of what Christ IN US is. All are “fruit of the ground” and therefore represent what man, who was made out of the ground, made of the dust of the earth, THROUGH “Christ IN HIM”, owes to God, the Father, in SERVICE to his fellow man. The Meat Offering being of the fruit of the ground represents our GOOD WORKS which we perform in our flesh. But these good works are not a “sweet savor” IF they are not offered upon a BURNT OFFERING, our OBEDIENCE to God.

Lev 23:18 And ye shall [on the day of Pentecost] offer with the bread seven lambs without blemish of the first year, and one young bullock, and two rams: they shall be for a burnt offering unto the LORD, with their meat offering, and their drink offerings, even an offering made by fire, of sweet savour unto the LORD.

Num 29:2 And ye shall offer a burnt offering for a sweet savour unto the LORD; one young bullock, one ram, [and] seven lambs of the first year without blemish:

Num 29:3 And their meat offering shall be of flour mingled with oil, three tenth deals for a bullock, and two tenth deals for a ram,

The Law of the Meat Offering:

Lev 2:1 And when any will offer a meat offering unto the LORD, his offering shall be [of] fine flour; and he shall pour oil upon it, and put frankincense thereon:

“Fine flour” means that this Offering has been “crushed to powder” (Luk 20:18).

Mat 21:44 And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.

What is the difference between “falling on the stone and being broken” and the stone “falling on us and grinding us to powder”?

Rom 9:31 But Israel, which followed after the law of righteousness, hath not attained to the law of righteousness.

Rom 9:32 Wherefore? Because they sought it not by faith, but as it were by the works of the law. For they stumbled at that stumbling stone;

Rom 9:33 As it is written, Behold, I lay in Sion a stumbling stone and rock of offence: and whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

“Believing on Christ” is “DOING the things that I say”. It is becoming “fine flour” with no unevenness, a PROCESS until the end. It is becoming completely malleable in the hands of the Potter to be “made anew”.

Luk 6:46 And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?

Rom 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

The Meat Offering was what Cain presented to God. But Cain had “not done the things which I say”. Cain had not obeyed God’s instructions concerning how to approach God. Remember the Burnt Offering is about how to APPROACH God, which is Christ IN US, the Hope of Glory, a sweet smell to God, the Father. In other words, we are to serve our fellow man on the condition that we ourselves, are obedient to the Word of God, otherwise our “good works” are not being accepted.

The spirit of Cain in us wants the easy way out and he sees no need to die to self.

Gen 4:3 And in process of time it came to pass, that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto the LORD.

Gen 4:4 And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the LORD had respect unto Abel and to his offering:

Gen 4:5 But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell.

Gen 4:6 And the LORD said unto Cain, Why art thou wroth? and why is thy countenance fallen?

Gen 4:7 If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee [shall be] his desire, and thou shalt rule over him.

“The fruit of the ground” was what God had given man AT THIS TIME as man’s nourishment. This is when we are HEARERS only and our faith has not been TRIED yet.

Gen 1:29 And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which [is] upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which [is] the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.

But “the fruit of the ground” does not satisfy God. What does satisfy God is the Burnt Offering which requires the shedding of blood which means we have to die to self, Christ in us overcoming sin, as we decrease and He increases. God’s portions which satisfy and nourish Him was not to be eaten by man at this time of our walk. It IS not until AFTER the flood (baptism) that Christ gives us MEAT to eat. And even then He reserves the blood to Himself:

Gen 9:4 But flesh with the life thereof, which is the blood thereof, shall ye not eat.

Joh 6:55 For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.

“You shall rule over him” is a prophecy of “Cain’s”, the elect sons of God, and all men’s ultimate destiny through the sacrifice of Christ for which Cain saw no need. “If you do well” means “if you do the things I say”. Cain is US, not doing well and is a shadow of king Saul, who was instructed to kill all the Amalekites and their animals, but he decided to keep the cattle and women and King Agag. But King Saul’s good works, like our good works, when those works are out of us and not THROUGH the Burnt Offering, through CHRIST, become “as filthy rags” before the Father (Isa 64:6). WE ARE TO NOT DO LIP SERVICE ONLY.

“Our [most insidious and hard to detect] iniquities” are “our righteousness’s.” They are not called our unrighteousness’s, they are called “our righteousness’s,” our “BLAMELESSNESS ACCORDING TO THE RIGHTEOUSNESS WHICH IS IN THE LAW”. This, our self-righteousness’s, takes us away” from the presence of God and Christ, we have to EXCEED that righteousness.

Mat 5:20 For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.

Aaron and his sons represent Christ, our Priest and “His Christ” which is the Law of Liberty, the renewed Covenant (Christ) which replaces the old Covenant (Moses and the law of the gentiles):

Heb 7:12 For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law.

This offering represents Christ’s claim upon our entire lives as a LIFE IN SERVICE to our brothers. We present our entire bodies as living sacrifices to God: It is a sweet savour offering.

Rom 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, [which is] your reasonable service.

The Meal Offering is of four ingredients 1) “finely ground flour” with 2) oil, and 3) frankincense and 4) salt.

Lev 2:1 And when any will offer a meat offering unto the LORD, his offering shall be of fine flour; and he shall pour oil upon it, and put frankincense thereon:

Lev 2:2 And he shall bring it to Aaron’s sons the priests: and he shall take thereout his handful of the flour thereof, and of the oil thereof, with all the frankincense thereof; and the priest shall burn the memorial of it upon the altar, to be an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD:

Lev 2:13 And every oblation of thy meat offering shalt thou season with salt; neither shalt thou suffer the salt of the covenant of thy God to be lacking from thy meat offering: with all thine offerings thou shalt offer salt.

His handful (Lev 2:2) represents Christ’s claim upon our entire lives just as the tithe represented God’s claim upon the lives of Israel. All of the shadows of the OT represent Christ.

This Offering is not burnt upon the altar but is given to the priests and is a shadow that shows us that this is an Offering whose emphasis is on OUR DEBT to our fellow men who we are to see as Christ. The righteous are the Meat Offering who feeds, gave, took in, clothe and visit.

Mat 25:37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed [thee]? or thirsty, and gave [thee] drink?

Mat 25:38 When saw we thee a stranger, and took [thee] in? or naked, and clothed [thee]?

Mat 25:39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?

Mat 25:40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

The Meat Offering shows us Christ IN us. But it is a certain part of Christ in us. This is Christ in us as “finely ground flour … of the fruit of the ground.” It is Christ being ground to powder FOR us. It is also Christ being ground to powder IN us. It is US being ground to powder FOR Christ’s Body which is the Church, His Bride:

Col 1:24 Who now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up that which is behind of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh for his body’s sake, which is the church:

So while this Offering shows us what Christ accomplishes in being bruised and crushed to powder for us, it also shows us that this is accomplished THROUGH US by having Christ IN US. This is the only Offering which is not a Blood Offering. It is an Offering of the fruit of the ground. It represents what and how the fruit of the ground is given in service to God. It represents our good works toward our fellow man, who is also Christ. And the fact that it must never be offered without a Blood Offering tells us that our good works alone are not being able to save us. The fact that it is always BEING offered with a shed Blood Offering, our good works are not our works at all. They are rather “Christ in us”, the Hope of Glory! We have to be hearers and doers of the Word.

Gal 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless, I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

Gal 2:21 I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by [my own efforts of keeping] the law [for the lawless], then Christ is dead in vain.

So whose works are they if they are worked in us?

Eph 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

Eph 2:9 Not of [our own] works, lest any man should boast.

Eph 2:10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

Let’s now look at the four ingredients as this will be very instructive to how we are to walk with the Lord  and conduct ourselves in the house  of God (The Body of Christ).

First Ingredient of this offering … flour:

The Meat Offering IS BEING bruised for Him:

Isa 28:28 Bread corn is bruised; because he will not ever be threshing it, nor break it with the wheel of his cart, nor bruise it with his horsemen.

Isa 28:29 This also cometh forth from the LORD of hosts, which is wonderful in counsel, and excellent in working.

“Bread corn is bruised.” That is what we are if we are to be of service to our brothers. We are to “fill up in our bodies what is behind of the afflictions of Christ, for His Body’s sake which is the Church.” That is the finely ground and even consistency of the Meat Offering. It ‘is, was and will be’ BEING “finished … in our bodies, for His Body’s sake which is the Church.”

Christ suffered, from His enemies and He suffered from His own apostles who left Him to whatever the Jews and the Romans wanted to do to Him. As He is so are we in this world. WE ARE BEING BRUISED FOR THE CHURCH’S SAKE.

Luk 6:22 Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man’s sake.

Joh 15:18 If the world hates you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.

1Jn 3:12 Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one [of his father the Devil-Joh 8:44], and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother’s righteous.

1Jn 3:14 We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.

Second Ingredient … oil:

The second ingredient is oil, “he shall pour oil upon it.” What does oil signify?

Act 2:16 But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel; Act 2:17 (a) And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh:

Oil is not mentioned in the Burnt Offering. Here is the “oil” being poured out on the “flour”:

Luk 3:22 And the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon him, and a voice came from heaven, which said, Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased.

And here is what “oil” produces:

Luk 4:14 And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee: and there went out a fame of him through all the region round about.

Luk 4:15 And he taught in their synagogues, being glorified of all.

Luk 4:18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,

Luk 4:19 To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.

The Spirit (oil) is mentioned in this Offering of our bodies to Christ in SERVICE to our fellow man, as oil, because it is in service to one another that the smoothing and healing effect of oil is needed TO HEAL THE WOUNDS WE FIND OR INFLICT ON ONE ANOTHER:

Luk 10:34 And went to him [one of the least of these my brothers], and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine, and set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him.

Here is the one verse which best describes the Meat Offering:

Act 10:38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.

And what was the result of Him “going about doing good?”

Luk 4:28 And all they in the synagogue, when they heard these things, were filled with wrath,

Luk 4:29 And rose up, and thrust him out of the city, and led him unto the brow of the hill whereon their city was built, that they might cast him down headlong.

We are being bruised as “bruised corn”, being a Meat Offering upon a Burnt Offering.

Third ingredient … frankincense:

The third ingredient is frankincense, “and put frankincense thereon:” But look what is said in connection with commanding this ingredient to be part of the Meat Offering:

Lev 2:11 No meat offering, which ye shall bring unto the LORD, shall be made with leaven: for ye shall burn no leaven, nor any honey, in any offering of the LORD made by fire.

Why is frankincense to be burnt on the altar of the Lord, but leaven and honey are never to be burnt on the altar? The reason is that both honey and leaven corrupt when submitted to heat. Frankincense, on the other hand, is a most precious and fragrant and enduring perfume WHOSE SCENT IS RELEASED WHEN HEATED. This is the symbolism of Christ in us as the Meat Offering and it is contrasted with the sweetness of honey which is in many of us until we are put through the fire of God’s Words and purged. Then all of our sweetness, like honey and leaven, begins to ferment and sour immediately.

Our bearing the trials with joy and receiving all things from the Lord with thanksgiving from our hearts as we die daily is a sweet-smelling savor to the Lord.  This is faith in action and what we are maturing into as we endure to end and finish the race we have been given to run.  It is those having been beaten (crushed) by trials that are being humbled that enables us to meet the Lord in the tabernacle of our hearts to worship in spirit and in truth.

Exo 30:34 And the LORD said unto Moses, Take unto thee sweet spices, stacte, and onycha, and galbanum; these sweet spices with pure frankincense: of each shall there be a like weight:

Exo 30:35  And thou shalt make it a perfume, a confection after the art of the apothecary, tempered together, pure and holy:

Exo 30:36  And thou shalt beat some of it very small, and put of it before the testimony in the tabernacle of the congregation, where I will meet with thee: it shall be unto you most holy.

To those in the true light, we the Elect as the  Lord’s priests are a savour of life but to those on the other side of the veil of  flesh, we are the  savour of death.

2Co 2:15  For we are unto God a sweet savour of Christ, in them that are saved, and in them that perish:

2Co 2:16  To the one we are the savour of death unto death; and to the other the savour of life unto life. And who is sufficient for these things?

In fact those in the true light become the light unto this world (Mat 5:14).  Grace chastens us, beats us down, grinds us to  fine flour and then we become the living and acceptable sacrifice unto the Lord.

Exo 27:20  And thou shalt command the children of Israel, that they bring thee pure oil olive beaten for the light, to cause the lamp to burn always.

Our “corruption” must never be placed on the altar of God. The story of king Saul illustrates this point.  Saul was anointed of the Lord, commanded to smite Amalek and destroy everything of Amalek. Saul did as commanded except he kept Agag, king of Amalek, alive and the best of the animals. He even wanted to offer these unto the Lord but Samuel spoke the Truth to him in this matter … rebellion is the sin of witchcraft ….

1Sa 15:21 But the people took of the spoil, sheep and oxen, the chief of the things which should have been utterly destroyed, to sacrifice unto the LORD thy God in Gilgal.

1Sa 15:22 And Samuel said, Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.

1Sa 15:23 For rebellion [is as] the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness [is as] iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from [being] king.

These shadows are written for US (1 Cor 10:11, 1 Pe 1:12):

We as king Saul, put our trust in the Law and do not know that “a little leaven” corrupts because we have to OBEY from the heart and not be hypocrites.

Mat 23:2 Saying, The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses’ seat: Mat 23:3 All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not.

Fourth Ingredient … salt:

Lev 2:13 And every oblation of thy meat offering shalt thou season with salt; neither shalt thou suffer the salt of the covenant of thy God to be lacking from thy meat offering: with all thine offerings thou shalt offer salt.

All Meat Offerings have to be seasoned with salt: “Every oblation of thy meat offering shalt thou season with salt” But notice the next part of this same verse: “neither shalt thou suffer the salt of the covenant of thy God to be lacking from thy meat offering”.

When anything is intended to be understood as lasting and being preserved it is called “a covenant of salt”. Salt both “seasons” and salt also preserves.

Num 18:19 All the heave offerings of the holy things, which the children of Israel offer unto the LORD, have I given thee, and thy sons and thy daughters with thee, by a statute forever: it is a covenant of salt for ever before the LORD unto thee and to thy seed with thee.

Leaven is contrasted with salt. Leaven corrupts, and salt preserves: “neither shalt thou suffer the salt of the covenant of thy God to be lacking from thy meat offering”.

Leaven, is HYPOCRISY and Paul admonishes us using the word “salt”:

Luk 12:1 In the meantime, when there were gathered together an innumerable multitude of people, insomuch that they trode one upon another, he began to say unto his disciples first of all, Beware ye of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy.

Col 4:6 Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.

Speaking the truth requires one to properly divide the SUM of the word (Psa 119:160 ASV) and allows us to impart wisdom and  understanding of the way of the  Lord to those prepared to hear.

Pro 25:11  A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in pictures of silver.

The Meat Offering differs from the Burnt Offering in that it is not all burnt:

Lev 2:3 And the remnant of the meat offering shall be Aaron’s and his sons: it is a thing most holy of the offerings of the LORD made by fire.

The priest takes a handful of the flour and of the oil and all of the frankincense to burn on the altar to the Lord. “And the rest of the meat offering shall be Aaron’s and his sons.

So while it is not all burnt like the Burnt Offering, it is all consumed with nothing going to the Offerer. Here is what the Meat Offering is:

Rom 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable [Greek: divine] service.

Christ IN US is our Meat offering, and He Himself FEEDS His priests:

1Pe 2:9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:

Psa 132:15 I will abundantly bless her provision: I will satisfy her poor with bread.

Who is “her poor?” “Her poor” is Zion, City of the GREAT KING!

Psa 132:13 For the LORD hath chosen Zion; he hath desired it for his habitation.

Psa 132:14 This is my rest for ever: here will I dwell; for I have desired it.

So the Meat Offering, with its flour, its oil, its frankincense and its salt is intended to be consumed for the most part by man, it is nevertheless “for the Lord.” We may tend to do what we do for recognition of others. Christ IN US does it all for His and our Father of whom every Name is named.

1Th 2:5 For neither at any time used we flattering words, as ye know, nor a cloke of covetousness; God is witness:

1Th 2:6 Nor of men sought we glory, neither of you, nor yet of others, when we might have been burdensome, as the apostles of Christ.

Difference between the Meat Offering and the Wave Sheaf Offering:

Lev 2:12 As for the oblation of the firstfruits (His first fruits), ye shall offer them unto the LORD: but they shall not be burnt on the altar for a sweet savour.

What is the “oblation [offering] of the firstfruits (which are us, Christ’s sons)? It is mentioned in Lev 23:

Lev 23:15 And ye shall count unto you from the morrow after the Sabbath, from the day that ye brought the sheaf of the wave offering; seven sabbaths shall be complete:

Lev 23:16 Even unto the morrow after the seventh Sabbath shall ye number fifty days; and ye shall offer a new meat offering unto the LORD.

Lev 23:17 Ye shall bring out of your habitations two wave loaves of two tenth deals: they shall be of fine flour; they shall be baken with leaven; they are the firstfruits unto the LORD.

Why is this offering (us) not “burnt on the altar for a sweet savour” whilst the wave sheaf (Christ) on the morrow after the Sabbath during the days of unleavened bread was to be burned on the altar?

Lev 2:14 And if thou offer a meat offering of thy firstfruits unto the LORD, thou shalt offer for the meat offering of thy firstfruits green ears of corn dried by the fire, even corn beaten out of full ears.

Lev 2:15 And thou shalt put oil upon it, and lay frankincense thereon: it is a meat offering.

Lev 2:16 And the priest shall burn the memorial of it, part of the beaten corn thereof, and [part] of the oil thereof, with all the frankincense thereof: it is an offering made by fire unto the LORD.

The reason why the Meat Offering of the days of unleavened bread is allowed to be burnt upon the altar as a sweet smelling savor is because Christ had no leaven in Him but the Church, BEING HIS SONS, which is being established fifty days after Christ’s acceptance as the “first fruit to God of them that slept” is commanded to be offered with LEAVEN and is therefore not a sweet smelling savor which can be burnt on the altar to God. Christ is the First and we are a kind of first fruits. He is before us in all things.

1Co 15:20 But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.

Jas 1:18 Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.

We are a “kind of firstfruits”, the wave sheaf of PENTACOST/DAY OF THE LORD/TIME OF JUDGEMENT is the ONLY offering which is mixed with LEAVEN: There are many things to be burned out of us, many things we are not yet able to bear but only as we progress on our road to maturity. We have leaven in us that have to be purged.

Lev 23:17 Ye shall bring out of your habitations two wave loaves of two tenth deals: they shall be of fine flour; they shall be baken with leaven; they are the firstfruits unto the LORD.

The “bread of the firstfruits” was and is being offered with the SIN OFFERING (Lev 23:19-20).

Lev 2:11 No meat offering, which ye shall bring unto the LORD, shall be made with leaven: for ye shall burn no leaven, nor any honey, in any offering of the LORD made by fire.

The difference between the Offering of the firstfruit at “the morrow after the Sabbath” and the Offering of the firstfruits at the day of Pentecost fifty later? We have not arrived yet but Christ knew no sin and that is the difference.

Phi 3:13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,

Phi 3:14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

2Co 5:21 For he hath made him [to be] sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

Christ IN us, is our Meat Offering accepted as a sweet savor and burnt upon the altar to the Father, but the Offering contrasting us with Christ is not a sweet savor. It is “baked with leaven” on the day of PENTACOST, which is our Day of the Lord, the time of Judgement on the House of God. Christ is both our sweet savor and our Sin Offering. He is all of these things and He is doing all of this in us, FOR, THROUGH, AND TO HIM are all things.

Rom 11:36 For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory forever. Amen.

SUMMARY:

The Burnt Offering belongs to the Father alone. It is a sweet smelling savour to God, Christ in us, the Hope of Glory. Upon the Burnt Offering, Christ in us, offers a Meat Offering which is our reasonable service to our fellow man. We are not being saved for ourselves but we are being saved to save others. As His priests, we are being fed through this Meat Offering.

Jud 1:21 Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.

Jud 1:22 And of some have compassion, making a difference:

Jud 1:23 And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.

Col 1:28 Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus:

We will look at the Peace Offering in the next installment.

Rev 1:17 And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last:

The Consuming Fire of God

Fires don’t burn forever.  Not in the physical nor in the spiritual.  I want to share some true things that the Lord has revealed to me since He opened my eyes and ears to hear His words that are all spirit.  The fire of God is His word as we will see and it is indeed a blessing for us to learn and be taught to abide in this fire.  Look at these verses from Isaiah 33 which foretell of this mystery.

Isa 33:14 The sinners in Zion are afraid; fearfulness hath surprised the hypocrites. Who among us shall dwell with the devouring fire? who among us shall dwell with everlasting burnings?

Is this speaking of who will be in eternal hell?   Absolutely not.  The people who will be dwelling in everlasting fire are not the wicked sinners as taught by Babylon but are in fact the true people of God who have had the fire clean them up and burn out of them all things that defile.  Look at how the Holy Spirit answered the question about who should dwell in this “everlasting fire”.  It is not people being tormented for their sins.

Isa 33:15 He that walketh righteously, and speaketh uprightly; he that despiseth the gain of oppressions, that shaketh his hands from holding of bribes, that stoppeth his ears from hearing of blood, and shutteth his eyes from seeing evil;

Those that are in this “fire” are the ones walking in righteousness having their old man destroyed, dying daily, getting their mind renewed daily by the fire of God’s word that abides within them.  The people in this fire are God’s very Elect, the ones HE is saving now in this age.  Judgment begins at HIS HOUSE.   This is such a revelation if you can receive it.  The traditions of the orthodox churches have nothing right and the doctrines they teach and we all first learn are truly another gospel and a different gospel.  If you know what bread and water represent in Scriptures then you will see the total apostasy in the professing orthodox churches of men.

Isa 3:1 For, behold, the Lord, the LORD of hosts, doth take away from Jerusalem and from Judah the stay and the staff, the whole stay of bread, and the whole stay of water (NO TRUE DOCTRINES, ALL LIES)

When we are yet carnal and looking at Scripture thru the veil of flesh, we will not see anything correctly even though we all will vehemently argue otherwise.  But a day will come when that veil is removed and then we will truly come to appreciate that the Scriptures don’t mean what they say, they mean what they mean, and that meaning must be given to us by faith.  Christ’s words are not to be taken literally, outwardly by the letter.  They are Spirit.

Joh 6:63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

Mat 13:11 He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.

So the truth and the knowledge of the mysteries of the kingdom are given to very few as many are called but only a few are chosen of the Lord.  Eternal hell is a lie, one of just millions we all first learn in Babylon.  The fact is that “FIRE” is an attribute of God and HIS WORD, that has both positive and negative applications in Scripture.  The word of God is likened to a sword that has two edges and this refers to the positive and negative applications of all words of Scripture.

Heb 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Fire is negative in that it brings destruction and destroys the old man and the carnal mind.  Fire is positive in that it purifies us and burns out all the sin and inequity from our hearts and minds.  But the natural man cannot receive the truth of God’s word, it is foolishness to him.

1Co 2:14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

We are going to look at what “fire” represents in Scriptures and we will hopefully see a new truth that God is not this monster God that we say is a God of love yet who is going to burn billions of people forever without end in a place called eternal hell.  There are some wonderful articles that speak to the truth and expose the lie of eternal torment.  They can be found here:

SALVATION OF ALL

HELL IS NOT ENDLESS PUNISHMENT

I pray you are given eyes to see and ears to hear these truths and will come to believe the good news of the one true gospel.  Let’s begin with some Scriptures that tell us of the character of God.  He is a devouring fire.

Hebrews 12:29 For our God is a devouring fire

Deut 4:24  For the LORD your God is a consuming fire, a jealous God

This is far from the only characteristic of God.  Indeed they are many others and they include such other attributes as love, mercy, and long suffering to name a few.  So carnal men make the mistake of twisting Scriptures to their own destruction. It is the sum of God’s word that represents the truth.

Psa 119:160 The sum of Your word is truth

2Pe 1:20 knowing this first, that no prophecy of Scripture is of any private interpretation,

Yet carnal men have taken Scriptures by themselves, violating these two principles of God’s word and to the exclusion of other Scripture have invented their own doctrines.  Doctrines and spiritual truths we take to heart are what we eat spiritually speaking and when we do this in Babylon, we are making our own bread and have not the doctrines of Jesus Christ.

Isa 4:1 And in that day seven women shall take hold of one man, saying, We will eat our own bread, and wear our own apparel: only let us be called by thy name, to take away our reproach.

With 2,000 years of Apostasy behind us, carnal man has truly maligned the nature and character of our great God.  Deceivers have only waxed worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived.

2Ti 3:13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.

The doctrine of eternal torment and man’s free will to choose God are gigantic doctrines of devils which point away from the Cross and the Lord Jesus Christ.  Such doctrines do not conform one to true godliness but instead keep the beast that all men are safely enthroned in our hearts in the place of the real Jesus.  This is not somebody else or some man to come in the future, this is you and me and all men.

Ecc 3:18 I said in mine heart concerning the estate of the sons of men, that God might manifest them, and that they might see that they themselves are beasts.

2Th 2:4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

Rev 13:11 And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.

Fire is the instrument of Judgment

Fire, which stands for the WORD of GOD is what brings judgment upon us.   And hopefully we do know that Jesus Christ is this WORD and that He came to save the world and will do so in due time by the process of judgement.

Joh 12:47-48 And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.  He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.

This coming of Christ to us a second time is very bad news for the old man but for the new man that the Lord is bringing forth, it is very good news.  It is the love of God in action as He remakes us and chastens us with His grace.

Matthew 3:10-11Therefore every tree which does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.

Heb 9:28So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.

Every son God receives in this age is scourged with this fire.  This is the true baptism into Christ’s death and it comes from the Almighty as the destruction of our flesh and carnal mind.   This is completely opposite of what Babylon teaches us.  Here is what the word of God working in our lives works.

Heb 12:6For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.

1Pe 4:12Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:

Act 14:22 Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.

The judgment of God is said to be sweeter than honey for the new man and it begins at the house of God.  It is a blessing for the fire of God to come upon us and burn out all that defiles.  Eternal torment is such a damnable heresy.

Psa 19:9-10 The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether. More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.

1Pe 4:17  For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God:

God’s love converts all His enemies, which is all that are carnal minded at enmity with God, into His friends.  The vehicle for this conversion and transformation is the righteous judgment of God.

Psa 66:3Say unto God, How terrible art thou in thy works! through the greatness of thy power shall thine enemies submit themselves unto thee.

The day of the Lord is this day of judgment where in the fire of God will work its wonderful work in us and destroy the old man and bring forth the new man

Joe 2:1-3Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the LORD cometh, for it is nigh at hand;   A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning spread upon the mountains: a great people and a strong; there hath not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it, even to the years of many generations. A fire devoureth before them; and behind them aflame burneth: the land is as the garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness; yea, and nothing shall escape them.

Fire is good to the new man and very bad for the old man and carnal mind.  These words of Christ speak of His wonderful works to the children of men.  This is how we are sanctified, it is thru the process of coming thru the fire.

Mat 7:19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.

Mat 13:40 As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world.

Even this verse from Matthew, always misquoted due to the carnal translation of “aionious” as everlasting; speaks of God’s chastening grace that will save all men in the end.  Being sent into the lake of fire is how all men except God’s very Elect will be saved in the 2nd resurrection.

Mat 25:41Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, (age abiding) prepared for the devil and his angels:

Rev 19:20  And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.

Do any research and you will see that brimstone is a purifying agent which is the very purpose of God’s fires.   I hope you are beginning to see that the fire of God is what brings judgment to us.  It is very good yet we will never be judged unless and until we can hear the words of the Lord in Spirit.  We must have ears to hear and we only get them in the last days of our carnal age when judgment comes upon us.

Joh 12:48 He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.

Fire is God’s instrument of salvation and that simply is HIS WORD, which must be heard with God given ears to hear to begin to work its purposes in our lives.  That purpose will be our sanctification.

1 COR 3:13-15  each one’s work will become clear; for the Day will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire; and the fire will test each one’s work, of what sort it is.  14 If anyone’s work which he has built on it endures, he will receive a reward. 15 If anyone’s work is burned, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire.

Maybe now you can understand the Psalm 19 that spoke of God’s judgments as sweeter than honey and more desirable than gold.  God’s purposes with fire is always for good.  The belief of a fire that never goes out and burns without end is not in the Scriptures and is an invention of the carnal mind adopted from ancient pagan doctrines.  All men shall be saved, that is the promise of God and that salvation will come by the very same fire the blind multitudes of orthodox Christianity claim will burn people in hell forever and ever.

God Gets What He Wants

The will of God is always getting done in everyone’s life everyday all the time with no exceptions.  The will of God is for all men to come to repentance and be saved,  and it will happen right on HIS schedule.  Here is a real gem of a verse so few can receive,

Job 23:13 But he is in one mind, and who can turn him? and what his soul desireth, even that he doeth.

He is the LORD and called the Almighty and in Him, we live and have our very being.

Act 17:28 For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.

This is what God wants and He will get and His word, the fire will perform its work in the appointed times for each of us.

2Pe 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

God is longsuffering, He is patient, His mercy endures forever.  He is not waiting on any man to choose Him, God is working all things for the council of His will.

Eph 1:11 In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:

Pro 16:9 A man’s heart deviseth his way: but the LORD directeth his steps.

Isa 64:8 But now, O LORD, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand.

Joh 15:5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

Fire Cast Unto the Earth

Jesus Christ will ultimately be the Savior of the whole world but He is not now saving the entire world.  For now and in each generation since Christ, His Elect, the few chosen from the many called are who Christ is saving.

Mat 22:14  For many are called, but few are chosen.

The way we are saved is when we are judged as we saw earlier.  This comes when fire is cast onto the earth, which speaks to us, made from dust.  All of Scripture is a parable needs to be applied inwardly first and foremost.  In due time Christ will save all just as promised and as Paul states here:

1Co 15:22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.

1Co 15:23But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ’s at his coming.

Jesus wanted to get on quickly with building HIS church by bringing judgment via this fire onto the very Elect.  This fire lights our earth on fire when we are given our ears to hear by the precious gift of faith. I have been lit on fire by the power of God.

Luke 12:49I have come to cast fire upon the earth; and how I wish it were already kindled!

Isa 26:9  ... for when thy judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness.

The carnal mind does not understand that God made us all marred vessels of clay on purpose, only to remake us all in the appointed time of judgment for all.  God’s anger against our rebellion to His ways is all part of His plan to teach us thru His righteous judgments and by doing so we learn good and evil and become like gods.  His anger is used to bring about good which is our salvation!!!!  Oh praise God for those who see this now.  Isaiah the prophet spoke of this as well and this is one of my favorite Scriptures that I now finally truly understand and rejoice over

Isaiah 48:10  Behold, I have refined you, but not as silver; I have tested you in the furnace of affliction.

Being refined in a hot fiery furnace is not fun for the old man.  There is much suffering involved, which is the walk of God’s chosen Elect.  We must suffer as our Lord suffered and it is by this suffering we will learn obedience.

Php 1:29  For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake

So much for the false prosperity gospel.  God is not in the flesh blessing business, He is in the business of destroying flesh and blood and remaking us by the fire of His word.

Rev 21:5  And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.

God’s fire is like a refiner’s fire.  Its whole purpose is not to punish people as the demonic doctrine of eternal hell puts forth.  No, God’s purposes are always for good, ALWAYS, and God’s fire is there to draw people to Him and to purify us into the divine nature that is God.  The Prophet Malachi spoke of Jesus coming and likened this to a refiner’s fire.

Malachi 3But who can endure the day of His coming? And who can stand when He appears? For He is like a refiner’s fire and like launderers’ soap. 3 He will sit as a refiner and a purifier of silver; He will purify the sons of Levi, And purge them as gold and silver, That they may offer to the Lord An offering in righteousness.

When God puts His spirit in us, He puts in the fire that will consume the adversaries of the Lord.  All the enemies of God and things in our land, which means in our hearts and our minds,  the things  that defile our temples of the Lord will be burnt up eventually thru this process.  This fire cannot be put out by man or his delusion of free will.  It will burn up the tares, which are the false doctrines we believed out of our land.  What God has started in us, He will finish the job. Jeremiah thought he could thwart the will of the Lord just like Jonah did and not speak this word.

Jer 20:9  Then I said, I will not make mention of him, nor speak any more in his name. But his word was in mine heart as a burning fire shut up in my bones, and I was weary with forbearing, and I could not stay.

But as Jeremiah and Jonah both learned, the zeal of the Lord is that word burning in us and it will consume us and purge the old man, that man of sin out of our heart.

Joh 2:17  And his disciples remembered that it was written, The zeal of thine house hath eaten me up.

I hope you have eyes to see clearly the purposes for all of God’s judgments.  They are used to purify His sons and daughters, not to torment them FOREVER.  His anger is but for a short time as the Psalm 30:5 tells us.  The character of God has been greatly stained by carnal man and this doctrine of eternal hell.  You will be ashamed you ever believed it when your eyes are opened to the truth.

The Role of the Priests

Jesus is our HIGH PRIEST and sits in our heavens with the Father.  Priest make a propitiation for sins and Christ was such for not only the sins of His Elect but for the sins of the whole world.

1Jn 2:2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

God’s chosen Elect are the kings and priests of the Lord and if we are found faithful will rule and reign with Him during the Millennium reign on earth.  In the interim we will overcome and gain dominion over sin.

Rev 1:6  And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever

Rev 5:10 And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the (our) earth.

The role of a priest in Scripture as the sum of thy word tells us is always to put fire on the altar of God.  Let’s look at God’s instructions to His priests.

Leviticus 1The sons of Aaron the priest shall put fire on the altar, and lay the wood in order on the fire. 8 Then the priests, Aaron’s sons, shall lay the parts, the head, and the fat in order on the wood that is on the fire upon the altar; 9 but he shall wash its entrails and its legs with water. And the priest shall burn all on the altar as a burnt sacrifice, an offering made by fire, a sweet aroma to the Lord.

The hearts of the people, ours included are the wood as we will see below.  This is nothing more than us becoming a living sacrifice and having the word of God, the fire, burn up our old man.  We die daily as we are crucified with Christ.  This is what the fire does it consumes the lusts of the world, lusts of the eyes and the pride of life in us.  The fire kills us and fulfills our needing to lose our life to gain it.

Mat 10:39 He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.

God uses His few chosen ones, the very few among the many called, to be the very fire.  The Elect of God that have this fire burning in them are the BODY OF CHRIST.  They are the angels or messengers of God are cast fire down to the earth.  This is all symbolic language that speaks to us speaking His word, that is the fire.

Heb 1:7  And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire.

Rev 8:5  And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire of the altar, and cast it into the earth: and there were voices, and thunderings, and lightnings, and an earthquake.

God’s Elect are these angels and are these ministers.  We are the salt of the earth, and we rain fire down on this earth by preaching this gospel.  This applies first to our own earth, inwardly but also to the few sheep and lambs the Lord will send our way.  We feed them His word, which is a fire.

Jeremiah 5:14  Wherefore thus saith the Lord God of hosts, because ye speak this word, behold, I will make my words in thy mouth fire, and this people wood, and it shall devour them.

This is what will turn the hearts of the people back to God when they believe.  The priest of God will never stop speaking words of fire.

Leviticus 6:11-13 and the fire on the altar shall be kept burning on it; it shall not be put out. And the priest shall burn wood on it every morning, and lay the burnt offering in order on it; and he shall burn on it the fat of the peace offerings. 13 A fire shall always be burning on the altar; it shall never go out

This is the ETERNAL FIRE,  not some made up eternal torment.  We know a literal fire burns no more on an altar in physical Israel.  This is speaking of the WORD of God pricking the hearts of His people.  God has raised forth in each generation those He has chosen to as priests on His kingdom.

Fires Consume The Fuel Given To Burn

This true gospel is a fire when we are given ears to hear it in truth and in spirit.  The hearts and mind of carnal man is the wood.  The words of Jesus are eternal life and when they go out they never return to Him void if and when they are heard with God given ears to hear.  These words of fire will accomplish all of His divine purposes in their appointed time. The carnal man has looked at the book of revelation thru fleshly eyes.  They will use this verse that follows to support a total unbiblical view of an eternal torment.  But they are yet carnal and know not the true heavenly things of God.  Only God can give eyes to see these things.

Revelation 14:9-11If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives his mark on his forehead or on his hand, 10 he himself shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out full strength into the cup of His indignation. He shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. 11 And the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever; and they have no rest day or night, who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name.”

This verse is speaking to the righteous judgments of God that are already being experiences in the hearts and minds of HIS Elect, upon where judgment must begin.   Those judgments, which are pure and which are likened to honey and even pure gold.  The torment is in the hearts of men who must die to themselves and their self will so God can give them the new heart and pour His love into them.  This is the suffering of the old man and the process of being crucified with Christ.  The time period is not forever and ever, it says the eons of the eons and it means an age lasting period of time God has ordained for each of us.  But eventually ALL THE WOOD will be burnt up.

Pro 26:20 Where no wood is, there the fire goeth out: so where there is no talebearer, the strife ceaseth.

Psa_106:18  And a fire was kindled in their company; the flame burned up the wicked. Job_31:12  For it is a fire that consumeth to destruction, and would root out all mine increase.

Fires consumes and destroys the old man, the beast within, the carnal mindedness that represents all of us in the flesh.  When these enemies of God and the carnal mind is at enmity with God, is burned up, then salvation comes. We overcome sin in our lives, getting dominion over sin via the earnest deposit, the down payment we have been given with Christ working in us, the hope of glory.

The Lord will accomplish His purposes and will remake us all into new vessels. He does this with His word, the fire of God.

Lam_4:11  The LORD hath accomplished his fury; he hath poured out his fierce anger, and hath kindled a fire in Zion, and it hath devoured the foundations thereof.  Eze_22:31  Therefore have I poured out mine indignation upon them; I have consumed them with the fire of my wrath: (THE OLD MAN IS DESTROYED PRAISE GOD)

These verses actually speak to the good news, the wonderful works of God to the children of men.  In the end God’s love wins out and all men will be saved.  It is by the crucifixion of Christ in us that we shall be saved in our appointed times.  We must follow the Lord and go thru the process of judgment and become a living sacrifice to be saved in this life and then we must endure to the end and be found faithful.  This fiery process is painful for the old man but it is by this fire that all the carnal thoughts and doctrines, THE WOOD, is burned up.  What will remain is the pure gold refined in God’s furnace.

Eternal hellfire is a lie and another jesus.  Here is the truth about how long the judgment of God will last. The “eternal” fire that brought judgment to Sodom and Gomorrha are not burning today.  That wood was burned up long ago.

Jud 1:7 Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.

The church fell away from the truth before the Bible was even finished being written.  Doctrines such as eternal torment have simply been passed down for centuries leaving the carnal minded KJV translators no choice but to take words like Aion and Aionios and mistranslated them into eternal and everlasting.  Here is a short article that shows this egregious error that has helped keep the multitudes blinded to the true Jesus. AION AND AIONIOS MISTRANSLATED But far greater glory remains for those who come to know God in this age.  Such will not work via the strength of their flesh or the delusion of free will for their salvation.  We will strive to stay on the narrow path and work out our own salvation, knowing that it is God who is now doing the work in us.

Php 2:12 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

Php 2:13  For it is God (not you, not your free will) which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.

Those precious few given the gift of faith (God’s Elect) will be striving to be found worthy to win the prize, to receive the reward of being in the first resurrection.

Php 3:13  Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,

Php 3:14  I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

So this I press onward for the mark and this HIGHER CALLING of God, that is given to just a few.  Many will see their works burned up and exposed for the false gospel and other jesus’s they followed.  But they all shall yet be saved in the very end.  All God’s promises will come to pass.

When something is consumed it disappears and ceases to exist.  Hallelujah, death shall be no more!!  The result of this is that all things will be restored to a pure, divine nature which defines the awesome God that I now serve.  I cannot wait.

1 COR 15:54-57 Death is swallowed up in victory.” 55 “O Death, where is your sting? O Hades, where is your victory?” 56 The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law. 57 But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Thank you Jesus for kindling your fire on this earth.  Thank you Lord.   I leave you with a Psalm excerpt that sums up the purposes of God’s fires.  This is the good news, the Lord destroying the old man to bring forth the new man.

Psalm 11:5-7 The Lord tests the righteous, but the wicked and the one who loves violence His soul hates.  6 Upon the wicked He will rain coals; Fire and brimstone and a burning wind  shall be the portion of their cup. 7 For the Lord is righteous, He loves righteousness; His countenance beholds the upright God loves righteousness.

God will turn His enemies into His friends.  He is going to make everything and everyone righteous in the end.  His power and His glory truly know no limits.  False teachers will continue to deny the power of God and speak evil of the truth I now share with you.  May those who have ears, hear this word.   I would be happy to assist you and be a helper in your joy of the Lord. Your brother in Christ,   Pete
