Growing To See the Fullness of Christ

imagesThe many called of God will first come to know Jesus Christ only in the flesh.  From out of the multitudes that know Christ in the flesh,  the Lord will drag a few chosen thru the veil of flesh into the realm of the spirit.  These few are God’s Elect who are given this blessing and the spiritual healing that comes with it.  It is when this veil is removed that our blindness is healed and we are given to see and to hear spiritually.  With ears to hear and eyes to see,  such blessed men and woman will be given to see past the letter of the Scripture and begin to understand the mysteries of the kingdom.

Mat 20:34  So Jesus had compassion on them, and touched their eyes: and immediately their eyes received sight, and they followed him.

2Co 3:14  But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ.

Unless and until this happens, all the Lord’s doing, we will not understand what is really being said in the Scriptures.  I can attest we will think otherwise but will have no clue until Christ is revealed to us in our appointed times.

Joh 6:63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

At this stage of our walk we are yet carnal and remain unconverted. We may well have cleaned up the outside of our cup while in Babylon and will be doing many good works, but the fact remains our hearts will not be circumcised until the Lord returns a second time to bring judgment against our old man and carnal nature.  We won’t know Him and have eternal life abiding in us, until our “day of the Lord” has begun in earnest.

Heb 9:28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.

Christ will come again to make war in our heavens and that is how salvation will come and how we will then know He is the Lord.

Rev 12:7  And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,

Rev 12:8  And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.

Rev 12:9  And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

Rev 12:10  And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.

For a great article on where is heaven, click here.

Once faith has come and the Spirit given to God’s Elect (no free will involved) then as babes we will learn and grow quickly.  The original Apostles who walked with Christ for 3.5 years remained unconverted themselves and Pentecost was just the beginning of their walk in the Spirit. They still had everything to learn and much to unlearn as the Scriptures tell us as they matured in the true faith.  We like Peter and ALL disciples will think we are already converted and see when we are still blind as bats not knowing who Christ truly is.

Luk 18:34 And they understood none of these things: and this saying was hid from them, neither knew they the things which were spoken.

Luk 22:32 But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.  (We can’t do the works of God until faith comes and the Spirit is given)

Mat 26:35 Peter said unto him, Though I should die with thee, yet will I not deny thee. Likewise also said all the disciples (you and me all of us will live these words, it was not just Peter)

Joh 9:39 And Jesus said, For judgment I am come into this world, that they which see not might see; and that they which see might be made blind.

There is no avoiding it.  We can’t shortcut God’s plan and not live the words of God that say we will first serve Him in the flesh but not know Him in the spirit.  Before we know the real Jesus and understand Christ we will follow and know Him only in the flesh and will have no spiritual understanding as carnal babes in Babylon.  But a day will come when the Lord returns to make war in our heavens and that is when we will begin to be taught the deep mysteries of the kingdom and know Christ in spirit

2Co 5:16 Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more.

2Co 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. (even the Jesus we knew in the flesh)

Understanding We Live By Every Word

Isa 55:8  For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.

God’s ways are not the ways of the carnal mind and the carnal mind will think the ways of the Lord are foolishness.  This verse below quoted in both Matthew and Luke, from what Christ spoke in Deuteronomy is a stumbling block to those that walk after the flesh who are yet carnal and claim they see but are indeed spiritually blind.  That is all of us at one time because as we saw above when Christ comes to us the second time, those that say they are blind will be given sight and those that claim they see will be made blind.

Mat 4:4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

Deu 8:3  And he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know; that he might make thee know that man doth not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the LORD doth man live.

Few are given to understand the depth of this statement by Christ. He did not say man should follow the 10 commandments when He spoke these words. That is what Babylonian doctrine teaches, the Scriptures teach something entirely different — the truth. The truth is man will live by every word God spoke in the Scriptures which is His word. Nothing will be left out and we have specific warnings in Revelation 22 about those that will add to or take away from the words of God. For those given eyes to see, they will come to know that they will live by every word in the Scriptures. This means they will see themselves in every verse of the Bible. The verses are not speaking about somebody else, they are speaking about you and me and all men in the appointed times. It does take time to grow and to fully appreciate what living every word really means but the Lord will give the increase when we are able to bear it. So when you see this you are blessed indeed as then you as the reader “will understand” and Christ’s appearing is at the very door.

Mat 24:15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)

Rev 1:3 Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.

CHRIST IS (not was) COME IN THE FLESH

The mystery of living by every word comes with the understanding that Christ is the first Adam (sinful marred vessel of clay, the old man with a carnal mind) and the second Adam (the Lord from heaven, the new man). Christ is the first and the last.

1Co 15:47 The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven.
1Co 15:48 As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.
1Co 15:49 And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.

Christ being the alpha and the omega means that we are Jesus Christ (part of the BODY, not the head) as we come into this world as the first man Adam and in the appointed times are transformed into the Lord from heaven, the new man. Christ was made sin not when He died on the cross, but when He came in the likeness of sinful flesh. FLESH IS SIN, Christ’s flesh was sin and our flesh is sin and as God’s Elect, we are in Him and He is in us. He is the the alpha and the omega.

2Co 5:21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

Rom 8:3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:

Heb 2:14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;

Christ having already overcome sinful flesh suffered thru all the same temptations we do yet He was without sin.  But having done this, He is our high priest and is able to give us comfort in our time of temptation.  All the lies of Babylon about Christ being immaculately conceived and having a different kind of flesh is nonsense and is another jesus. Jesus Christ HAS come and IS coming NOW, in sinful flesh.   He is in my flesh right now making war in my heavens and bringing judgment upon the old man and cleansing His temple which temple I am and all of God’s Elect will be.

Act 7:48 Howbeit the most High dwelleth not in temples made with hands; as saith the prophet,
Act 7:49 Heaven is my throne, and earth is my footstool: what house will ye build me? saith the Lord: or what is the place of my rest?

Knowing where is heaven and what the earth refers to is paramount to understand what is being said.  Anyone who denies this is still of their father the devil, is yet carnal and is antiChrist with their beliefs and are serving another jesus following a false gospel.

1Jn 4:2-3  Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God.   And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

2Jn 1:7  For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.

Israel – The Body of Christ On Which the Head Sits

Isa 49:3  And said unto me, Thou art my servant, O Israel, in whom I will be glorified.

Understanding “The Christ” thru which Christ does all His work today is giant mystery that carnal minds will yell blasphemy when they hear such things; but they simply do not understand.  The Scriptures remains sealed unto them and it simply has not been given them to understand as many are called and only few are chosen.  God’s Elect are not Jesus Christ the head, but we are indeed Jesus Christ THE BODY.  Until Christ was resurrected in a spiritual body He had no place to lay His head and that was the parable being spoken about below.   Jesus was not suggesting we become homeless vagabonds as many carnal holy rollers will lead you to believe.  No, Jesus wanted to get on with building His church and bringing fire into the earth of His chosen vessels.

Mat 8:20  And Jesus saith unto him, The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head.

Luk 12:49  I am come to send fire on the earth; and what will I, if it be already kindled?

The WORD is Christ and is within all those who are His body, the very Elect.   That same Word is also called ‘fire’ in the scriptures and lo and behold, that fire is found in the same place Christ and His Word are to be found:

Jer 5:14  Wherefore thus saith the LORD God of hosts, Because ye speak this word, behold, I will make my words in thy mouth fire, and this people wood, and it shall devour them.

Rev 11:5  And if any man will hurt them [God’s witnesses], fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed.

Eventually all men will be dragged to Christ and be saved, all but the Elect at the White Throne Judgment.  Paul speaking to the Greeks at Mars Hill plainly tells us what organized religion can never accept.

Act 17:28For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.

A loving father is not going to torment his own children forever without end.  Utter carnal delusion.  So ultimately all men are Israel and Christ will dwell in all His people, but for now, God’s purposes is to save only the few His Elect.    Hence Paul wrote of this parable and riddle that continues to confound the wisdom of the wise.

Rom 9:6Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel:

Rom 11:26And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:

It is God purposes to save the many thru the few and God’s Elect, the Body of Christ will be the rulers and judges in the ages to come.  It is our speaking the words of fire that is the lake of fire and the words “of Christ” that will judge the multitudes in righteousness.  Christ made clear that it would be “the words I have spoken” which would judge all men:

Joh 12:48  He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.

So Christ’s words are fire in the mouths of His elect, and we are all being judged by that very same fire now in this age:

1Co 3:13  Every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is.

First and Last & Alpha and Omega

Christ is the first and the last. The Alpha and Omega and all points in-between.  ALL THINGS ARE OF GOD. He causes all the  good and all the evil.  Yet the carnal mind and doctrines of Babylon have another jesus.   Lightness and darkness is the same to the Lord.

Psa 139:12 Yea, the darkness hideth not from thee; but the night shineth as the day: the darkness and the light are both alike to thee.

He is not evil but indeed works evil for good and creates it for His purposes.

Isa 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.

Gen 50:20 But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive.

Rom 8:28 And we know that ALL THINGS work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

So knowing these things, begins to unlock the mystery of what life is all about. If we are God’s Elect then we are told we are His temple, that is where He dwells right now sitting in our heavens.

1Co 3:16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

We are God’s house if we are His Elect. Not only does judgment begin with us and we are judged first, but in our house are both honorable and dishonorable things. God uses them both to accomplish His will.

2Ti 2:20 But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour.

And ultimately thru judgment the dishonorable things are purged from our lives, our bodies, our minds and the heavens that are within.  The wood, hay and stubble, the dishonorable things will be purged with fire and heat.

2Ti 2:21If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master’s use, and prepared unto every good work.

And once He completes this refining and destruction of our carnal nature, then we as part of His Elect, His ministers of flame on this earth can be used to do the greater works that Christ spoke about.

Mal 3:3 And he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the LORD an offering in righteousness.

Heb 1:7 And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire.

Joh 14:12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.

But these works cannot commence until our prior carnal works where we thought we served God but worked against Him and denied His name are burned up in the fire of His word during our judgment.

1Co 3:15 If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.

Christ being the first Adam in all of us just goes to show that it was God’s purposes for us to live every word and to eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. We cannot become like gods until we do so. We have to live by every word.

Gen 3:22 And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:

And this includes are very sins, the evil we commit and live by until the Lord brings judgment to us and causes us to obey His commandments.

Isa 63:17 O LORD, why hast thou made us to err from thy ways, and hardened our heart from thy fear? Return for thy servants’ sake, the tribes of thine inheritance.

Pro 16:4 The LORD hath made all things for himself: yea, even the wicked for the day of evil.

While we are these bodies of flesh, full of the law of sin and death, we cannot help but sin and it is only by His grace that we are given little by little the dominion to overcome. Only God’s very Elect will be given this dominion, which is salvation in this age. The rest will be saved in the Lake of Fire.

So hopefully some of the readers will see the heresy in the carnal doctrine that man was made perfect and believe the Babylonian lie of the fall of mankind. The fact is we were created sin. Flesh is sin and nothing good dwells in it.

Psa 51:5 Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.

One day we will live these words and speak what David spoke and then we will understand that even Jesus Christ in a body of flesh was not good.

Mar 10:18 And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God.

The Scriptures, the very words we live by everyone tell us of God’s plan. We will live the darkness and live the sins that are written in the Book.

Jer 18:2 Arise, and go down to the potter’s house, and there I will cause thee to hear my words.
Jer 18:3 Then I went down to the potter’s house, and, behold, he wrought a work on the wheels.
Jer 18:4 And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter: so he made it again another vessel, as seemed good to the potter to make it.

The details of our lives will be different but the one event will be the same and that is living by every word, and this begins with being the vessel of dishonor, the virtual sinning machine in a body of sinful flesh. We will walk in strong delusion long before in His mercy the Lord opens our eyes to see His wonderful works to the children of men.

Rom 9:21 Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour?

This is remarkable truth of the Lord’s plan for us all. One that we will never believe even if a man declare it unto us. We will first be mockers of this truth.

Act 13:41 Behold, ye despisers, and wonder, and perish: for I work a work in your days, a work which ye shall in no wise believe, though a man declare it unto you.

If we are so blessed to be His Elect, then the veil of flesh will be removed and the Body of Christ will come to us and open the seals from the Book. Then we shall see.

Rev 5:5 And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.
Rev 5:6 And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.
Rev 5:7 And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne.

I did not understand all of this at first. It took a couple of years of me eating the true bread from heaven and being in the midst of Christ to grow in the grace and knowledge of the Lord. Now I have been given a ministry to feed the flock and to bring the lost sheep into the fold. There won’t be many of them in this age as many are called and few are chosen, yet the Lord has been faithful to give me those opportunities and to even bring forth fruit of that labor.

Praise God for Him giving the increase to seed sown and water poured out.

1Co 3:7 So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.

I can now look behind and see where the Lord has taken me. It is not me living, it is Christ living in me. I know there is much still to be lived and to learn yet for each new day we are given, I can truly say thank you Lord for the “all things” that have been given to me.

1Co 3:21 Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are yours;
1Co 3:22 Whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come; all are yours;
1Co 3:23 And ye are Christ’s; and Christ is God’s.

CHRIST RETURNS IN THE CLOUDS – HIS WITNESSES

The parable of Christ ascending into the clouds where He sits at in heaven at the right hand of God tells those with eyes to see where Christ dwells.  Carnal eyes won’t be able to see where Christ went as it must be spiritually discerned.

Act 1:9 And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.

Act 1:10And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel;

Again if we know where heaven then we can begin to understand the mystery.

Act 1:11 Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.

Christ comes in the clouds, that is where everyone will see Him in due time.  Those clouds are God’s Elect.

Rev 1:7 Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.

Rev_11:12And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.

Rev_14:14 And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle.

The Body of Christ is the clouds, we are His witnesses, it is us who have the testimony of Jesus Christ and loved not our life unto death.

Heb 12:1Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,

Jesus Christ has a Christ and it is these witnesses that are likened to clouds in Scripture.  These clouds are the lights unto this dark world but the cloud that is Christ is both light and darkness.  To those very few God is dragging to Himself now, the clouds will be light in the night but to those carnal multitudes in Babylon who are not being dragged, the very same cloud is utter darkness.  I have shared this Scripture lately that foretell of this mysterious way of the Lord.

Exo 14:20  And it came between the camp of the Egyptians and the camp of Israel; and it was a cloud and darkness to them, but it gave light by night to these: so that the one came not near the other all the night.

Exo 19:9  And the LORD said unto Moses, Lo, I come unto thee in a thick cloud, that the people may hear when I speak with thee, and believe thee for ever

I hope this post has brought you to see that we are Jesus Christ if we are His Elect.  We are not the head but we are the body and consider who Jesus Christ the head says we are when speaking to our persecutors.  Paul never saw the Lord when He was in His own personal body of flesh yet heed the words of the Lord.

Act 9:4  And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?

Act 9:5  And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.

If we can’t say this is true then it is not true.  Let the redeemed of the Lord say so.  Just like our head, we will be hated and persecuted for doing what He did.  Those in Babylon will seek to kill Christ in us that is speaking these truths.

Joh 5:18  Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not only had broken the sabbath, but said also that God was his Father, making himself equal with God.

It takes time to grow in our understanding of the depth of God’s wisdom and to understand the meat of His word.  We are not given it all at once, it is fed to us as we are able to receive it.

Joh 16:12 I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now.

We will close with a review of the warnings of adding to or taking away from our part in the book.

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN WE DENY WE LIVE BY EVERY WORD?

All of us will at first be adding to and taking away from the book of life in which the names of God’s Elect are written and in due time will include the names of all men. We have Scripture that tells us what happens and these too are words we shall live by in due time.

If we add to the words of God, we just are given more false doctrines, the plagues to deceive us and keep us blinded from the truth.

Rev 22:18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:

If we subtract or take away from the book, saying those words do not apply to us, then we have no part in the book of life which means we do not know the Lord and are following another jesus.

Rev 22:19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

When we take away from the book, we don’t know Him and have not eternal life abiding in us.

Joh 17:3 And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.

I pray this has helped some of you see the bigger picture and to appreciate more that it is the SUM OF THY WORD that is truth. Only taking “some” of it is another jesus.

Psa 119:160 The sum of Your word is truth

Ecc 9:2 All things come alike to all: there is one event to the righteous, and to the wicked; to the good and to the clean, and to the unclean; to him that sacrificeth, and to him that sacrificeth not: as is the good, so is the sinner; and he that sweareth, as he that feareth an oath.

Salvation of ALL

The Salvation of All

 Introduction

The vast majority of Christians today believe that God is going to burn many people in hell by torturing them for all eternity. It is actually considered a great heresy by many that God would have mercy upon all men and eventually bring all to salvation. I firmly believed this doctrine of eternal torment, and was very motivated to tell others what I thought was the good news of the gospel of God. The Gospel that some will be saved and some will burn forever in hell is not good news, but rather a twisted and heretical view of God’s glorious plan of salvation.

The truth is that from the very beginning, God planned to redeem every person he ever created in addition to the spirit realm: angels, demons, and even Satan himself. In this study I’m going to show you in great detail from the scriptures, how God has hidden this plan to restore all things behind the types, shadows, and symbols of the Old Testament.

Act 3:20 And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you:

Act 3:21 Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.

The law was given as a shadow of the good things to come, which are revealed through Christ and the Spirit of God in the New Testament.

Heb 10:1 For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect.

This great mystery has been hidden from ages and generations, but now is being manifest, as Paul explains in Colossians.

Col 1:26 Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints:

Col 1:27 To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:

Col 1:28 Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus:

The truth of God restoring all things is hidden behind the dark sayings and parables of his Word, which without the Spirit is impossible to understand.

Psa 78:2 I will open my mouth in a parable: I will utter dark sayings of old:

2Pe 3:15-16  And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you; As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.

The scriptures are difficult to understand, because God has written them to conceal the truth, until the appointed time.

Pro 25:2 It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings is to search out a matter.

God spoke to people through parables in the Old Testament to keep the mystery hidden, and then did the very same thing in the New Testament through Christ.

Eze 20:49 Then said I, Ah Lord GOD! they say of me, Doth he not speak parables?

Eze 24:3 And utter a parable unto the rebellious house, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Set on a pot, set it on, and also pour water into it:

Mat 13:10 And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables?

Mat 13:11 He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.

Isa 6:9 And he said, Go, and tell this people, Hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not.

Isa 6:10 Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and convert, and be healed.

It is impossible through our own carnal reasoning and human understanding to see the mystery hidden behind the letters of the scripture. It is only through the Spirit of God dwelling in us that we are able to see the truth of his Word.

1Co 2:14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

Joh 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

I hope and pray that God will give you his Spirit that you may understand the true Gospel, and comprehend the marvelous plan of God. Paul prayed the very same thing for the Ephesians to whom he preached the truth of God.

Eph 3:16-19 That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,  May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fullness of God.

Isaiah tells us that none but God knows what he has prepared for those that wait on him.

Isa 64:4 For since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen, O God, beside thee, what he hath prepared for him that waiteth for him.

Yet Paul reveals that by God’s Spirit, the deep things are revealed unto us!

1Co 2:9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

1Co 2:10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.

I hope and pray that the Lord will use this paper to confirm what he is showing you through his Spirit.

There are many difficult verses to understand, and many scriptures that seem to directly contradict one another in our carnal understanding. I ask that you first please read my study entitled “Hell is Not Endless Punishment”. I need you to clearly understand that eternal torment in hell is not spoken of in the Old Testament, and certainly not taught by Christ or any of the Apostles. This study addresses many verses that seem contradictory to the Salvation of all. With the foundations laid in that study, you will be better prepared to appreciate the magnificence and beauty of the true Gospel of God hidden in the Old Covenant, and masterfully revealed in the new.

Genesis

Very early in the Book of Genesis, God gives a prophecy of what will happen to the serpent, because he has tempted Eve to transgress the first law ever given.

Gen 3:14 And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:

Gen 3:15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

The Hebrew word for “bruise” is shu ph H7779, and is the same word translated as “crush” in the following verse.

Job 9:17 NKJV For He crushes (H7779) me with a tempest, And multiplies my wounds without cause.

What happens if a snake bites your heel and you then crush his head? Your heel may be injured, but the snake will die. This is actually a prophecy of the salvation of Satan.

Heb 2:14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;

Here is an article about the salvation of Satan:

Will Satan and His Angels Be Saved?

It is quite interesting to notice that death and hell are cast into the lake of fire. The Greek for Hell here is “hades” which is equivalent to the Hebrew word “sheol” and means the grave or place of the dead.

Rev 20:14 And death and hell (hades) were cast into the lake of fire.

This is the second death.  There is no longer any need for a place of the dead if death has been destroyed.

1Co 15:26 The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.

We must remember that the scriptures are full of dark sayings and parables. In a parable there is a deeper meaning behind the words, so we must look beyond physical death and search the scriptures for the spiritual definition of death. We find it in Romans.

Rom 8:6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

So there will be no physical death anymore AND no one will have a carnal mind. The carnal mind is the opposite of the mind of Christ, and represents all that is evil rebellious in our mind. The lake of fire into which “death” and “the grave” are cast, is a purifying fire that burns up all that is carnal, or disobedient to God.

Rom 8:7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be

1Co 3:15 If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.

Our works are burned, which means that we are taught through God’s judgment to forsake all wickedness and self-righteousness, yet we are saved. This is the means by which God accomplishes the salvation of all, through judgment. This is actually the last of the Milk Doctrines listed in Hebrews 6.

Here is a study on this topic: Milk Doctrine of Eternal Judgment

Christ tells Peter that the power of hell (hades) will not prevail against the Church.

Mat 16:18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell (Hades) shall not prevail against it.

This relates to Hebrews 2:14, which explains that the devil, who has the power of death, is destroyed.

Heb 2:14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;

Continuing on in Genesis, we find that there is a tree of life symbolizing salvation through Christ, but it is guarded by Cherubims with flaming swords.

Gen 3:24 So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.

Joh 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Keep in mind that the mystery is hidden behind these symbols of the Old Testament. What does a sword symbolize? Let’s look to the New Testament to understand the mystery.

Eph 6:17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

Heb 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

The Word of God is used to divide soul and Spirit. The word for soul is “psuche” G5590. This is the same word translated as ‘life’ in the following verse.

Mat 10:39 He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.

In this case “life” represents our old sinful ways that we must lose in order to inherit true life.

Joh 17:3 And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.

So the Word of God is actually used to divide our old sinful ways from the truth taught by the Spirit of God that is sent to dwell within us. The sword that is guarding the tree of life is on fire, because the Word also purifies us.

Mal 3:2 But who may abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appeareth? for he is like a refiner’s fire, and like fullers’ soap:

Mal 3:3 And he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the LORD an offering in righteousness.

If we are going to come to know Jesus and eat of the tree of life, we have to pass through the flaming sword.

So who is it that is given to eat of the tree of life? Rev 2:7 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.

Overcoming is about overcoming the wicked one.

1Jn 2:14 I have written unto you, fathers, because ye have known him that is from the beginning. I have written unto you, young men, because ye are strong, and the word of God abideth in you, and ye have overcome the wicked one.

If the wicked one, Satan, is destroyed then everyone is going to overcome him and eat of the tree of life.

Heb 2:14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;

Later in Genesis, Abraham is told that all the nations of the earth will be blessed through him.

Gen 22:18 And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.

Gen 26:4 And I will make thy seed to multiply as the stars of heaven, and will give unto thy seed all these countries; and in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed;

This too is a prophecy that all men shall be saved. Paul explains in Galatians 3, that God will justify the heathen (Gentiles) by faith.

Gal 3:8 And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed.

Israel has been mostly blinded from the truth until the fullness of the Gentiles have come in, but then all of Israel will be saved.

Rom 11:25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.

Rom 11:26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:

Paul goes on to explain how God uses the unbelief of some to give mercy to others. The end result is that he has mercy upon all.

Rom 11:30 For as ye in times past have not believed God, yet have now obtained mercy through their unbelief:

Rom 11:31 Even so have these also now not believed, that through your mercy they also may obtain mercy.

Rom 11:32 For God hath concluded them all in unbelief, that he might have mercy upon all.

The story of Joseph and his brothers is a powerful example of the mercy that God will have towards us, despite the fact that we have persecuted and spiritually killed his son Jesus and his people that preach the truth to us. Joseph had a dream that was true, yet he was hated for it.

Gen 37:5 And Joseph dreamed a dream, and he told it his brethren: and they hated him yet the more.

He prophesied that his brothers, his mother, and father would bow down to him one day. When the opportunity presented itself, Joseph’s brothers cast him into a pit and then sold him into slavery.

Gen 37:23 And it came to pass, when Joseph was come unto his brethren, that they stript Joseph out of his coat, his coat of many colours that was on him;

Gen 37:24 And they took him, and cast him into a pit: and the pit was empty, there was no water in it.

Gen 37:28 Then there passed by Midianites merchantmen; and they drew and lifted up Joseph out of the pit, and sold Joseph to the Ishmeelites for twenty pieces of silver: and they brought Joseph into Egypt.

After many great trials and much suffering Joseph is made the ruler over all of Egypt and stores up grain to save many from the seven year famine. When his brothers come to buy grain for the family Joseph torments them and then has great mercy upon them.

Gen 50:19 And Joseph said unto them, Fear not: for am I in the place of God?

Gen 50:20 But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive.

Gen 50:21 Now therefore fear ye not: I will nourish you, and your little ones. And he comforted them, and spake kindly unto them.

This story of God sending Joseph to make a way to save his family and many others is a shadow of the true salvation to come through Christ. While Joseph’s brothers were hateful towards him and attempting to kill him, God was actually working their salvation. This is exactly what God has done through Christ for us.

Rom 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

1Jn 4:9 In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.

1Jn 4:10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

This salvation is brought to us through Christ and His body, which is made up of those in whom Christ brings the Spirit of God to dwell.

Col 1:24 Who now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up that which is behind of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh for his body’s sake, which is the church:

Col 1:25 Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God;

Col 1:29 Whereunto I also labour, striving according to his working, which worketh in me mightily.

This great mystery is explained in the following study: The Mystery of the Kingdom of God

Exodus

The book of Exodus is about Israel being set free from their bondage and slavery in Egypt. They cried unto the Lord in their distress and he saved them.

Exo 1:14 And they made their lives bitter with hard bondage, in morter, and in brick, and in all manner of service in the field: all their service, wherein they made them serve, was with rigour.

Exo 2:23 And it came to pass in process of time, that the king of Egypt died: and the children of Israel sighed by reason of the bondage, and they cried, and their cry came up unto God by reason of the bondage.

Exo 2:24 And God heard their groaning, and God remembered his covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob.

Exo 2:25 And God looked upon the children of Israel, and God had respect unto them.

Exo 6:6 Wherefore say unto the children of Israel, I am the LORD, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will rid you out of their bondage, and I will redeem you with a stretched out arm, and with great judgments:

Notice that God says he will deliver Israel “with great judgments”. God delivers us from our bondage to sin by judging us and chastening us to forsake ungodliness and obey his commands.

Tit 2:11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,

Tit 2:12 Teaching (chastening) us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;

Heb 12:6 For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.

In Exodus 6 Israel is delivered from bondage in Egypt, which is a shadow and type of the true deliverance from bondage to our own sin revealed in the New Testament.

Rom 8:15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.

Rom 8:16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

Rom 8:20 For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope,

Rom 8:21 Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.

Rom 6:17 But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you.

Rom 6:18 Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.

Rom 6:22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.

Rom 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal (aionios) life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

This study will explain aionios life: What is Aionios Life

And also in Galatians:

Gal 4:3 Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world:

Gal 4:4 But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,

Gal 4:5 To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.

Gal 4:6 And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.

God sent ten plagues upon Egypt to deliver Israel from bondage, the final one involved the death of all the first born, and the blood of a lamb being put on the doorposts so the death angel will pass over.

Exo 12:3 Speak ye unto all the congregation of Israel, saying, In the tenth day of this month they shall take to them every man a lamb, according to the house of their fathers, a lamb for an house:

Exo 12:4 And if the household be too little for the lamb, let him and his neighbour next unto his house take it according to the number of the souls; every man according to his eating shall make your count for the lamb.

Exo 12:5 Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male of the first year: ye shall take it out from the sheep, or from the goats:

Exo 12:6 And ye shall keep it up until the fourteenth day of the same month: and the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it in the evening.

Exo 12:7 And they shall take of the blood, and strike it on the two side posts and on the upper door post of the houses, wherein they shall eat it.

Exo 12:12 For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night, and will smite all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I am the LORD.

Exo 12:13 And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt.

Exo 12:14 And this day shall be unto you for a memorial; and ye shall keep it a feast to the LORD throughout your generations; ye shall keep it a feast by an ordinance for ever.

What does this lamb in Exodus symbolize? We are told in the book of John.

Joh 1:29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.

In Exodus, only Israel was saved by the blood of the lamb, but in John it is 13 revealed that Jesus takes away the sins OF THE WHOLE WORLD. God planned from the very foundation of the world, to provide Christ as a sacrifice to redeem all of his creation.

Rev 13:8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

The first born of all in Egypt being slain is a shadow of our old man being crucified with Christ. The old man represents our sinful ways and carnal mind before we are born again in Christ and given new ways and the mind of Christ.

Rom 6:6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. We must lose our life and be born again to be delivered from the bondage of sin.

Mat 10:39 He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.

Joh 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

In the book of Exodus, God gives Moses instructions about building the Ark of the Covenant. Part of these instructions involved a “mercy seat”

Exo 25:17 And thou shalt make a mercy seat of pure gold: two cubits and a half shall be the length thereof, and a cubit and a half the breadth thereof.

Exo 25:21 And thou shalt put the mercy seat above upon the ark; and in the ark thou shalt put the testimony that I shall give thee.

Exo 25:22 And there I will meet with thee, and I will commune with thee from above the mercy seat, from between the two cherubims which are upon the ark of the testimony, of all things which I will give thee in commandment unto the children of Israel.

God says that he will meet and commune with Israel from above the mercy seat. This is a powerful shadow of the mercy that God will show towards all men. God does show great mercy, but he also requires that we reap the fruits of what we have done. When we transgress his laws we must be chastened from our iniquity. Mercy does not mean that all consequences are negated, but rather that in the end we will all be saved.

Num 14:18 The LORD is longsuffering, and of great mercy, forgiving iniquity and transgression, and by no means clearing the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation.

Num 14:19 Pardon, I beseech thee, the iniquity of this people according unto the greatness of thy mercy, and as thou hast forgiven this people, from Egypt even until now.

Gal 6:7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

Gal 6:8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.

To continue on the theme of mercy, God shows mercy to those that keep his commandments.

Deu_5:10 And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me and keep my commandments.

Deu 7:12 Wherefore it shall come to pass, if ye hearken to these judgments, and keep, and do them, that the LORD thy God shall keep unto thee the covenant and the mercy which he sware unto thy fathers:

Yet Israel constantly breaks his commands, as we all do, so how will any mercy be shown? The answer lies in the promise of a New Covenant.

Jer 31:31 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:

Jer 31:32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD:

Jer 31:33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.

Jer 31:34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.

Eze 36:25 Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.

Eze 36:26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.

Eze 36:27 And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.

God is going to cause all of his creation to keep his commands, therefore he can have mercy upon all and forgive their transgressions. Here is the fulfillment of these promises in the New Testament.

1Jn 4:13 Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit.

Php 2:13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.

Rom 11:32 For God hath concluded them all in unbelief, that he might have mercy upon all.

Salvation of All Hidden in the Law

In God’s plan of salvation there is an order in which all are saved. There are three steps to this process that are foreshadowed in the feasts that Israel was to keep each year.

Exo 23:14 Three times thou shalt keep a feast unto me in the year. Exo 23:15 Thou shalt keep (1) the spring harvest the feast of unleavened bread: (thou shalt eat unleavened bread seven days, as I commanded thee, in the time appointed of the month Abib; for in it thou camest out from Egypt: and none shall appear before me empty. Exo 23:16 (2) The summer harvest at pentecost And the feast of harvest, the firstfruits of thy labours, which thou hast sown in the field: and (3) The fall harvest at the feast of tabernacles the feast of ingathering, which is in the end of the year, when thou hast gathered in thy labours out of the field. Exo 23:17 Three times in the year all thy males shall appear before the Lord GOD.

Through these three harvests, the whole of the yearly harvest is brought in. The analogy of sowing and reaping is prevalent throughout the New Testament.

1Co 3:6 I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase.

1Co 3:7 So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase.

Luk 6:44 For every tree is known by its own fruit. For men do not gather figs from thorns, nor do they gather grapes from a bramble bush.

Luk 10:1 After these things the Lord appointed seventy others also, and sent them two by two before His face into every city and place where He Himself was about to go.

Luk 10:2 Then He said to them, “The harvest truly is great, but the laborers are few; therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.

Paul refers to these feasts in Exodus as he explains the order in which all will be saved.

1Co 15:22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive (G2227).

1Co 15:23 But each one in his own order: Christ the firstfruits, afterward those who are Christ’s at His coming.

1Co 15:24 Then comes the end, when He delivers the kingdom to God the Father, when He puts an end to all rule and all authority and power.

Some will say that “to be made alive” is to be resurrected, but then sent to heaven or hell. Here are a few uses of the same Greek word (G2227), that shows how “made alive” means to be saved.

1Pe 3:18 NKJV For Christ also suffered once for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive (G2227) by the Spirit,

2Co 3:6 who also made us sufficient as ministers of the new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life (G2227)

Joh 6:63 It is the Spirit who gives life (G2227); the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.

Let’s now examine the order of salvation.

1Co 15:23 But each one in his own order: Christ the firstfruits, afterward those who are Christ’s at His coming.

Jesus Christ is the firstfruits of the harvest of all. Firstfruits simply means the first of the harvest.

1Co 15:20 NKJV But now Christ is risen from the dead, and has become the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep.

Jas 1:17 NKJV Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.

Jas 1:18 Of His own will He brought us forth by the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of His creatures.

Rom 11:13 For I speak to you Gentiles; inasmuch as I am an apostle to the Gentiles, I magnify my ministry,

Rom 11:14 if by any means I may provoke to jealousy those who are my flesh and save some of them.

Rom 11:15 For if their being cast away is the reconciling of the world, what will their acceptance be but life from the dead?

Rom 11:16 For if the firstfruit is holy, the lump is also holy; and if the root is holy, so are the branches.

Christ speaks of death as sleep.

Joh 11:11 These things He said, and after that He said to them, “Our friend Lazarus sleeps, but I go that I may wake him up.”

Joh 11:12 Then His disciples said, “Lord, if he sleeps he will get well.”

Joh 11:13 However, Jesus spoke of his death, but they thought that He was speaking about taking rest in sleep.

Joh 11:14 Then Jesus said to them plainly, “Lazarus is dead.

Just as Christ has been raised from the dead, so will we all be raised from the dead. Since the firstfruit is holy, so will at their appointed time be made holy.

1Co 15:23 But each one in his own order: Christ the firstfruits, afterward those who are Christ’s at His coming.

The KJV translation hides the meaning of who is saved during this second step. There is the article “the” before “Christ” as these translations demonstrate.

1Co 15:23 (ABP+) But each in his own order; the first-fruit is Christ, thereupon the onesG3588 of theG3588 ChristG5547 at his arrival.

1Co 15:23 (REV) But, each, in his own rank:—A firstfruit Christ, after that, they who are the Christ’s, in his presence,

1Co 15:23 and each in his proper order, a first-fruit Christ, afterwards those who are the Christ’s, in his presence,

Christ actually has a Christ, which is also called the Body of Christ. When you read the phrase “the Christ” or “His Christ”, it’s just another way of saying the Body of Christ.

Act 4:26 The kings of the earth stood up, and the rulers were gathered together against the Lord, and against his Christ.

Rev 11:15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.

Rev 12:10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.

God has chosen some to be the firstborn of all those that will come after Christ himself in order of salvation.

Rom 8:29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.

These are called God’s ‘chosen’ or ‘elect’.

Mat 20:16 So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many be called, but few chosen.

Col 3:12 Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;

Tit 1:1 Paul, a servant of God, and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of God’s elect, and the acknowledging of the truth which is after godliness;

1Pe 2:9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:

Christ chose the 12 apostles to take his message of salvation to the world, and in the very same way there are those chosen in every generation to preach the truth of God’s word. Paul tells the Corinthians that the saints will judge the world and angels. The word for saints means “holy ones”, and refers to God’s elect whom he makes holy first.

1Co 6:2 Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters?

1Co 6:3 Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?

Paul explains that he is one of these ministers of God’s work, and has been given the job of fulfilling what Christ started.

Col 1:24 Who now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up that which is behind of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh for his body’s sake, which is the church:

Col 1:25 Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word  of God;

Col 1:29 Whereunto I also labour, striving according to his working, which worketh in me mightily.

All of God’s chosen, the elect, are used by God to reconcile all others to God. In this way the elect of God are also saviors.

2Co 5:18 Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation,

2Co 5:19 that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation.

2Co 5:20 Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God.

The word of God, symbolized by fire, is given to God’s ministers in order to save others.

Jer 5:14 Wherefore thus saith the LORD God of hosts, Because ye speak this word, behold, I will make my words in thy mouth fire, and this people wood, and it shall devour them.

Remember that we are saved by fire.

1Co 3:15 NKJV If anyone’s work is burned, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire.

Heb 1:7 And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire.

There are two resurrections. The first resurrection is of God’s elect, who are faithful to the end in their physical life.

Rev 17:14 These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.

God’s faithful elect are given judgment and will rule and reign with Christ during the millennium, and then are used to save all those in the second resurrection through the lake of fire.

Rev 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

Rev 20:5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.

Rev 20:6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

God’s elect are used to administer his fire, which is used to purify and to save. The lake of fire is described in the book of Revelation, which purifies those that are cast into this fire.

Rev 20:10 The devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever (ages of the ages).

Rev 20:11 Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. And there was found no place for them.

Rev 20:12 And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books.

Rev 20:13 The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works.

Rev 20:14 Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

Rev 20:15 And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.

Purpose of the Millennium

After we have been purified by fire we will be able to dwell with God.

Heb 12:29 For our God is a consuming fire.

Psa 5:4 For thou art not a God that hath pleasure in wickedness: neither shall evil dwell with thee.

Isa 59:1 Behold, the LORD’S hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear:

Isa 59:2 But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.

Isa 33:14 The sinners in Zion are afraid; fearfulness hath surprised the hypocrites. Who among us shall dwell with the devouring fire? who among us shall dwell with everlasting burnings?

Isa 33:15 He that walketh righteously, and speaketh uprightly; he that despiseth the gain of oppressions, that shaketh his hands from holding of bribes, that stoppeth his ears from hearing of blood, and shutteth his eyes from seeing evil

1Pe 4:12 Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:

1Pe 4:13 But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ’s sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.

It is also very revealing to see the mercy that God provides to his people through the year of jubilee.

Lev 25:10 And you shall consecrate the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land to all its inhabitants. It shall be a Jubilee for you; and each of you shall return to his possession, and each of you shall return to his family.

Lev 25:11 That fiftieth year shall be a Jubilee to you; in it you shall neither sow nor reap what grows of its own accord, nor gather the grapes of your untended vine.

Lev 25:12 For it is the Jubilee; it shall be holy to you; you shall eat its produce from the field.

Lev 25:13 In this Year of Jubilee, each of you shall return to his possession.

The scriptures are full of great mysteries that are hidden behind the letters. Ask God for understanding and study diligently to see the truths that I have explained from the Word of God.

Psalms and the Prophets

With this new understanding that God is going to save all, let’s read through a number of verses from the Psalms and prophets and see them foreshadow the wonderful plan of God.

Psa 22:27 All the ends of the world shall remember and turn unto the LORD: and all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before thee.

Psa 22:28 For the kingdom is the LORD’S: and he is the governor among the nations.

Psa 22:29 All they that be fat upon earth shall eat and worship: all they that go down to the dust shall bow before him: and none can keep alive his own soul.

ALL shall turn unto the Lord, and ALL nations shall worship the Lord, even those that die and go down to the dust.

Gen 3:19 In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.

The wrath of God is upon all disobedience for a season, and then joy comes and life is given.

Psa 30:5 For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.

This study explains how the wrath of God saves us. Treasuring Up the Wrath of God

Psa 67:1 To the chief Musician on Neginoth, A Psalm or Song. God be merciful unto us, and bless us; and cause his face to shine upon us; Selah.

Psa 67:2 That thy way may be known upon earth, thy saving health among all nations.

Psa 67:3 Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee.

Psa 67:4 O let the nations be glad and sing for joy: for thou shalt judge the people righteously, and govern the nations upon earth. Selah.

Psa 67:5 Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee.

Psa 67:6 Then shall the earth yield her increase; and God, even our own God, shall bless us.

Psa 67:7 God shall bless us; and all the ends of the earth shall fear him.

God’s righteous judgment will result in praise, because it causes us to be obedient and love his ways. This study will explain more:

The Milk Doctrine of Eternal Judgment

Psa 68:18 Thou hast ascended on high, thou hast led captivity captive: Thou hast received gifts for men; yea, for the rebellious also, that the LORD God might dwell among them.

The Lord will lead us out of captivity and dwell with those that have been rebellious.

Psa 86:9 All nations whom thou hast made shall come and worship before thee, O Lord; and shall glorify thy name.

Psa 98:2 The LORD hath made known his salvation: his righteousness hath he openly shewed in the sight of the heathen.

Psa 98:3 He hath remembered his mercy and his truth toward the house of Israel: all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.

This is a prophesy of the salvation that is to be revealed in the New Covenant. God often speaks through his prophets like David and speaks as if something has been done, when it is not yet manifest.

Rom 4:17 (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.

Psa 145:9 The LORD is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works.

God will show mercy to ALL.

Isa 25:6 And in this mountain shall the LORD of hosts make unto all people a feast of fat things, a feast of wines on the lees, of fat things full of marrow, of wines on the lees well refined.

Isa 25:7 And he will destroy in this mountain the face of the covering cast over all people, and the vail that is spread over all nations.

Isa 25:8 He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the LORD hath spoken it.

Isa 25:9 And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is the LORD; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.

This salvation that David speaks of is for ALL people, which will swallow up death in victory for ALL, and wipe away ALL tears.

Isa 45:22 Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else.

Isa 45:23 I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear.

Salvation is of God, and when He makes the truth known all will bow to him and be saved.

Isa 53:5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

Isa 53:6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all. The prophecy of the sacrifice of Christ is for the iniquity of ALL.

Isa 66:23 And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD.

How do people in hell who are separated from God’s goodness worship him? These next two verses make it quite clear that God does not cast anyone off forever or remain angry forever, rather his mercy triumphs and delivers us all from our sin.

Lam 3:31 For the Lord will not cast off for ever:

Lam 3:32 But though he cause grief, yet will he have compassion according to the multitude of his mercies.

Mic 7:18 Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth in mercy.

Mic 7:19 He will turn again, he will have compassion upon us; he will subdue our iniquities; and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea.

This verse in Zephaniah shows how the Lord brings obedience through his wrath.

Zep 3:8 Therefore wait ye upon me, saith the LORD, until the day that I rise up to the prey: for my determination is to gather the nations, that I may assemble the kingdoms, to pour upon them mine indignation, even all my fierce anger: for all the earth shall be devoured with the fire of my jealousy.

Zep 3:9 For then will I turn to the people a pure language, that theymay all call upon the name of the LORD, to serve him with one consent (accord).

Zep 3:17 The LORD your God in your midst, The Mighty One, will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing.”

I hope you can now see the wonderful plan of salvation foreshadowed in the Old Testament.

Salvation of All in the New Testament

I have already dealt with most of the problematic passages in my other study, Hell is Not Endless Punishment, so I’m just going to focus on the verses that proclaim the true Gospel, the salvation of all.

The Gospels

Mat 18:11 For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost.

Mat 18:12 How think ye? if a man have an hundred sheep, and one of them be gone astray, doth he not leave the ninety and nine, and goeth into the mountains, and seeketh that which is gone astray?

Mat 18:13 And if so be that he find it, verily I say unto you, he rejoiceth more of that sheep, than of the ninety and nine which went not astray.

Mat 18:14 Even so it is not the will of your Father which is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish.

Through this parable the heart of our heavenly Father is clearly revealed…he cares about every one of his sheep and will not let any perish. In Matthew, Christ instructs Peter to endlessly forgive his brother who sins against him. If this is Christ’s doctrine, then He must forgive us for our transgressions against him and his Father as well.

Mat 18:21 Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times?

Mat 18:22 Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, until seventy times seven.

In Luke, the good news of the gospel is for ALL PEOPLE.

Luk 2:10 And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.

As Christ was hanging on the cross, he asks his father to forgive those who were crucifying him. If they are forgiven for crucifying the son of God, who cannot be forgiven?

Luk 23:34 Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.

This next verse is self explanatory.

Joh 1:29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.

Why was Christ sent into the world?

Joh 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

Many people read the word “might” and conclude that it is only a possibility that Christ could save the world, when in reality it is a declaration of Christ’s mission that he WILL save the whole world. Young’s literal translation is a bit more clear.

Joh 3:17 YLT For God did not send His Son to the world that he may judge the world, but that the world may be saved through him;

Christ will accomplish the will of the Father. But what is the will of the Father?

1Ti 2:3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;

1Ti 2:4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.

Joh 6:37 All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.

Joh 6:38 For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.

Joh 6:39 And this is the Father’s will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.

Who will Christ draw unto himself?

Joh 12:31 Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out.

Joh 12:32 And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.

Acts

Here in Acts, Peter explains God’s plan to save all, as witnessed by the prophets long ago.

Act 3:19 ESV Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out,

Act 3:20 that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, and that he may send the Christ appointed for you, Jesus,

Act 3:21 whom heaven must receive until the time for restoring all the things about which God spoke by the mouth of his holy prophets long ago.

Act 3:22 Moses said, ‘The Lord God will raise up for you a prophet like me from your brothers. You shall listen to him in whatever he tells you.

Act 3:23 And it shall be that every soul who does not listen to that prophet shall be destroyed from the people.’

Act 3:24 And all the prophets who have spoken, from Samuel and those who came after him, also proclaimed these days.

Act 3:25 You are the sons of the prophets and of the covenant that God made with your fathers, saying to Abraham, ‘And in your offspring shall all the families of the earth be blessed.’

Paul’s Writings

I’m going to quote a number of passages from the book of Romans to show how Paul taught the salvation of all.

Rom 5:6 For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.

Rom 5:7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die.

Rom 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Rom 5:17 For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)

Rom 5:18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.

Rom 5:19 For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.

Rom 5:20 Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:

Rom 5:21 That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.

Paul draws the comparison between Adam bringing death to all, so Christ brings righteousness to all. If all have sinned, then all shall be saved! To further emphasize the point, it is shown that grace abounds more than sin. These verses in Romans 8 clearly reveal that God is the one who subjected the creation to vanity, and will then deliver us from bondage.

Rom 8:19 For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.

Rom 8:20 For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope,

Rom 8:21 Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.

In Romans 11, Paul explains the mystery of how the temporary blindness of Israel is actually used to save the Gentiles, and then BOTH will be saved.

Rom 11:27 For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.

Rom 11:28 As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the fathers’ sakes.

Rom 11:29 For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.

We’ll end our quotes from Romans with this statement.

Rom 14:11 For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.

We have already gone over some of these verses in 1 Corinthians, but they are certainly worth reading again.

1Co 15:22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.

1Co 15:23 But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ’s at his coming.

1Co 15:26 The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.

1Co 15:28 And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.

1Co 15:51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,

1Co 15:54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.

1Co 15:55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?

1Co 15:56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.

1Co 15:57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Paul says in 2 Corinthians that God is reconciling THE WORLD unto himself through Christ, and does not impute their trespasses to them.

2Co 5:18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by

2Co 5:19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.

The book of Ephesians says that God is going to gather together into one, all things in Christ.

Eph 1:7 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;

Eph 1:8 Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence;

Eph 1:9 Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself:

Eph 1:10 That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him:

The fullness of God’s Spirit is going to be in every one of his children. This is a second witness to what Paul says in 1 Cor. 15, that God will be all in all.

Eph 1:20 Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,

Eph 1:21 Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:

Eph 1:22 And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,

Eph 1:23 Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.

Eph 4:10 He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.)

Here is God’s end goal, to have everyone bow to Jesus.

Php 2:9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:

Php 2:10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;

Php 2:11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

This does not mean that they should bow, as if it is a suggestion or command that is not followed, but rather a statement of what will happen.

Rom 14:11 For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.

Rom 14:12 So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.

ALL things are subdued unto Christ. All shall be made like him.

Php 3:20 For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:

Php 3:21 Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.

Christ will reconcile ALL THINGS unto himself, including his enemies. We are commanded to love our enemies, so why would God do any less than he commands us to do.

Col 1:19 For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell;

Col 1:20 And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.

Col 1:21 And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled

Col 1:22 In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:

Mat 5:43 Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy.

Mat 5:44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;

Mat 5:45 That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.

Mat 5:46 For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same?

Mat 5:47 And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so?

Mat 5:48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

Is God a hypocrite or will he treat his enemies with love and forgive his own rebellious children?

Why did Jesus come into the world?

1Ti 1:15 This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.

Who does God desire to be saved?

1Ti 2:3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;

1Ti 2:4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.

1Ti 2:5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;

1Ti 2:6 Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.

Who did Christ come to save?

1Ti 4:9 This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptation.

1Ti 4:10 For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, specially of those that believe.

1Ti 4:11 These things command and teach.

Can God do what he desires to do, or is he limited in some way?

Isa 46:10 Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:

To who has God’s grace appeared?

Tit 2:11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,

Other New Testament Writings

For whom did Christ taste death?

Heb 2:8 Thou hast put all things in subjection under his feet. For in that he put all in subjection under him, he left nothing that is not put under him. But now we see not yet all things put under him.

Heb 2:9 But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.

Heb 2:10 For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.

Heb 2:11 For both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren,

Is Christ going to destroy the power of death and redeem Satan as well?

Heb 2:14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;

Who does the Lord desire to perish and who will come to repentance?

2Pe 3:8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

2Pe 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

For whom is Christ the propitiation? Did he only die for the sins of those who obey him now in this life?

1Jn 2:2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

For whom is Christ the savior?

1Jn 4:14 And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world.

What is Christ going to do to the works of the devil and the devil himself?

1Jn 3:8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

1Co 3:15 If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.

We’ll conclude with these two passages in the book of Revelation

Rev 15:3 And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints.

Rev 15:4 Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? for thou only art holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest.

Rev 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

Rev 21:5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.

The revelation that all are going to be saved is a Milk Doctrine, a beginning foundational principal of the doctrine of Christ.

I encourage you to read the following studies on the six milk doctrines. It will form the foundation for your further understanding of God’s word.

The Wonderful Day of the Lord

Day of Lord 2

2Pe 3:10  But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

The Lord ’s Day is not Saturday or Sunday as most professing Christians will think and want to argue.  The Lord ’s Day aka the Day of the Lord is very significant spiritually and understanding what it represents will be an immense aid to understanding God’s word and His plan for mankind.  This post is a small primer on this important symbol that is used throughout Scripture.

The picture above I chose for this post may be a bit confusing to you.  But what I want to remind everyone is that the WORD is a two edged sword and there is both a positive and a negative application for all words and symbols.  This confuses the carnal mind and is used of God to hide His mysteries from the multitudes.  Those that think of a God that does not create evil and only think of the positive or the negative and not both; have no chance at arriving at the truth.

Psa 139:12 Yea, the darkness hideth not from thee; but the night shineth as the day: the darkness and the light are both alike to thee.

Isa 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.

So as you read this keep this major principle in mind.  The Day of the Lord quite simply is the day appointed for each of us when God will bring judgment to us and make war in our heavens.

Rev 12:7 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels

And this day leads to salvation, that is God’s process.  The devils is cast out of us and our heavens, which is where the kingdom of God is, we are His Temple is purged.  There is no other way.

Rev 12:9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
Rev 12:10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down

I used to think of the Day of the Lord as a horrible time that would usher in the most insidious torment and suffering mankind has ever seen.  This is partially true in concept but I missed the entire reason and purpose for this event.  Christ told us this period of tribulation would be unlike any before it or any that would come after.  The great tribulation is nothing more than our Day of the Lord that happens inwardly in our hearts and minds.

Mat 24:21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

So while all orthodox Christianity has us thinking of this as something bad that happens only to those sinners over there but not to us, the truth is that the Day of the Lord is a wonderful time that is necessary for God to call the light out of the darkness and bring forth the new man, the Lord from heaven.

1Co 15:47 The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven.

The Day No Man Knows The Time

Isa 46:10 Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:

The utter folly of carnal men thru the ages.  First they had no clue what this day or judgment day is all about, nor do they even have the baby milk right regarding the gospel; yet men have made a living predicting this day.  Be it Harold Camping, Tim Lahaye, 119 Ministries, and countless other carnal men,  these deceivers continue to be deceived and deceive others with this mesmerizing allure of the flesh.  Christ even warned us specifically not to follow after such men but we all will do it before we learn the truth.

Luk 21:8  And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them.

The “Day of the Lord” is the day that no man knoweth, not even God’s Elect nor even Christ but only His Father.

Mat 24:36  But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

This certainly has an outward application as it relates to the resurrections of the dead in the ages to come, but these words of Christ are primarily to be applied inwardly.  All of Matthew 24 speaks to the Lord bringing judgment against our carnal mind and thereby destroying the old man, the beast within and bringing salvation.  Salvation is the process by which we are delivered from the bondage to sin resulting in our purification.   This is the time period, the AGE, in which Christ rebuilds the temple, which temple we all are!!!  This is what the Day of the Lord is really all about and this is foretold throughout Scripture once we are given eyes to see and ears to hear.

Heb 9:28  So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.

That process of delivering us from sin will never end while we are still in these bodies of flesh.  Yet like Jesus Christ we too must wait until we are perfected on our third day.  That fulfillment comes when we are resurrected in spiritual bodies if we are God’s Elect.

Luk 13:32  And he said unto them, Go ye, and tell that fox, Behold, I cast out devils, and I do cures to day and to morrow, and the third day I shall be perfected.

Flesh and blood has to go, the carnal mind of man cannot inherit the kingdom of God and must be destroyed.  This Day of the Lord begins the process that ends with our “perfection” when we are purified in our spiritual bodies.  For the Elect, this will be at the first resurrection and for everyone else it will be after the 2nd resurrection and their purification in the Lake of Fire.  Here are links to a couple of articles that speak to this ultimate pouring out of chastening grace in the ages to come.

http://iswasandwillbe.com/white_throne.php

http://www.iswasandwillbe.com/Fire_of_lake_of_fire.php

The Day of the Lord has a beginning but it is not just a literal day; it is the entire age (AION) the Lord has ordained for our judgment to take place and make the new vessel from the marred vessel of clay that represents all men at physical birth.  The age is part of living by every word that proceedth out of the mouth of God (Mat 4:4) and is part of the one event that comes to all men (Ecc 9:2) but the particulars of our Day of the Lord were written by God in our books before the world was even formed.

Psa 139:16 Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.

But this age will come to an end and the Potter would have delivered on His promises to us all.

Jer 18:4  And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter: so he made it again another vessel, as seemed good to the potter to make it.

Rev 21:5  And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make ALL things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.

Chastening Grace

Just learning what real grace does, will be a tremendous step forward in understanding spiritual things.  Grace is what chastens us, it is the same word translated “teaching” in the oft misquoted Titus 2:11.  But it is a very good thing to be chastened of the Lord.  It is this scourging of the old man that brings forth salvation.

Heb 12:6  For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.

Yet this is a process that takes the remainder of our life in these vessels of clay.   We can’t run one lap and then sit back and relax.

Mat 24:13  But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

Heb 12:1 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us

The false doctrines of Babylon do not prepare us to endure to the end when our day of the Lord begins.  We must know what is written about our lives henceforth and be prepared to count the cost.

Act 14:22  Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.

1Pe 4:12-13 Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ’s sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.

Many will fall away and walk no more with Jesus.  Only the few chosen, the very elect will remain faithful to the end and gain the victory in this life.  It is not enough to be called and chosen, Lord willing we will be made faithful to endure to the end.

Rev 17:14  These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.

The Wonderful Day of the Lord

To the carnal mind the Scriptures are a contradiction.  The parables are only understood when the Lord gives us ears to hear and opens the door to receive His truth in our heavens.  This day of the Lord is a very dark day.

Amo 5:20  Shall not the day of the LORD be darkness, and not light? even very dark, and no brightness in it?

Before our day of the Lord arrives, when we are in Babylon, the true things of God, His doctrines and His Elect will be total darkness to us.  But when our judgment begins, we will begin to die, being crucified with Christ and it is this blood of the moon that will cleanse us from all sin.

Joe 2:31  The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the LORD come.

Yet this  day of the Lord is also wonderful day for the new man as it brings salvation to those God has chosen for salvation. That of course is all men but the order of salvation has already been established by God and declared from the beginning.

1Co 15:22  For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.

1Co 15:23  But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ’s at his coming.

1Co 15:24  Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.

The truth of God’s mysteries is hidden from carnal eyes and ears and given only to those God has chosen. To everyone else these truths will be foolishness.

Mat 13:11  He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.

1Co 2:14  But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. (given thru the gift of faith)

The Paradox of Scripture

The carnal mind has a tough time seeing God as both light and darkness.  The positive and the negative at the same time seems like a contradiction.  We might get the Lamb and the Lion paradox, but it really extends to every word of God having two sides.  The fact of the matter is the doctrines of Christ, the true word is to the Elect the light that guides them but to the Babylonians and the Egyptians spiritually speaking, it is total great darkness.  And the WORD tells us so and it is this same cloud that separates the two groups of the CALLED from the CHOSEN.

Exo 14:20 And it came between the camp of the Egyptians and the camp of Israel; and it was a cloud and darkness to them, but it gave light by night to these: so that the one came not near the other all the night.

Here are some good news verses that speak of salvation coming to God’s people.  Our carnal doctrines will all take these for bad news and that only wicked people have to go thru God’s wrath on the day of the Lord.  Nothing could be further from the truth.  This is God remaking the vessel, decreases the old man, destroying the power of sin and calling light out of darkness.  It is wonderful if one can see it.

Isa 13:9  Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it.

Isa 13:6  Howl ye; for the day of the LORD is at hand; it shall come as a destruction from the Almighty.

I recall using the book of Joel to promote the false doctrines of eternal torment and justified myself as some righteous watchmen for God by misquoted these verses and blaspheming the name of the Lord and His work.  Thankfully that was in my ignorance and by mercy have been forgiven and shown the light of the truth.   This speaks of great news and the Lord bringing the man to us thru His righteous judgments.  I hope some of you are getting this.

Joe 2:1-3  Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the LORD cometh, for it is nigh at hand;   A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning spread upon the mountains: a great people and a strong; there hath not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it, even to the years of many generations. A fire devoureth before them; and behind them a flame burneth: the land is as the garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness; yea, and nothing shall escape them.

All of the prophets speak of this mystery of how Christ is formed in His people.  These are the very same verses often used by the carnally minded, such as the old me, to falsely teach the damnable heresy of eternal hell or torment.  These all speak of the good news coming upon men;  when Christ comes to crush our pride and beastly nature to fine powder.

Mat 21:44  And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.

But this is all nonsense to the carnally minded.  But it will just amaze you when you do see it as it is everywhere and the plan and consistency of this is so clear.  Let’s look at a few more verses that speak to the process of judgment, called the “day of the Lord” which really are the wonderful works of God to the children of men.

It is a day of vengeance:

Blessed are we if we are given to have our judgment and give our account to God in this life.  We will have to suffer for a little while to be freed from sin.

Jer_46:10  For this is the day of the Lord GOD of hosts, a day of vengeance, that he may avenge him of his adversaries: and the sword shall devour, and it shall be satiate and made drunk with their blood: for the Lord GOD of hosts hath a sacrifice in the north country by the river Euphrates.

1Co 3:17  If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.

Jer 50:28  The voice of them that flee and escape out of the land of Babylon (God’s Elect), to declare in Zion the vengeance of the LORD our God, the vengeance of his temple.

I am declaring to you the reader today, this vengeance of the Lord for His temple.  All men have sinned, all have defiled the temple of the Lord and the Lord will have vengeance.  But this is the mystery that no man will believe even if you declare it to them.  Only the Lord can open ears and prepare hearts to receive this truth.

The only way any man, any of us, will enter into the temple of God and have Christ in us, the hope of glory is by us living thru and thereby fulfilling the seven plagues poured out upon our carnal mind.

Rev 15:8  And the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God, and from his power; and no man was able to enter into the temple, till the seven plagues of the seven angels were fulfilled.

During this day is how we lose our life and are separated from the world.

The day of the Lord is when His sword is abiding upon our spiritual house and killing all off the land of Egypt.  Our worldly interest and desires will be changed as our heart is circumcised by the sword.  We will be separated from the multitudes that remain in Egypt and Babylon.

Eze 30:3  For the day is near, even the day of the LORD is near, a cloudy day; it shall be the time of the heathen.

Eze 30:4  And the sword shall come upon Egypt, and great pain shall be in Ethiopia, when the slain shall fall in Egypt, and they shall take away her multitude, and her foundations shall be broken down. (crushed to powder)

This passage in Zephaniah is full of symbols that tell much about this great day of the Lord.   Nothing will be spared as the Lord remakes us by this process.  All our idols, sins, false doctrines, all will be burned up in the fire that consumes the adversaries.

Zep 1:14  The great day of the LORD is near, it is near, and hasteth greatly, even the voice of the day of the LORD: the mighty man shall cry there bitterly.

Zep 1:15  That day is a day of wrath, a day of trouble and distress, a day of wasteness and desolation, a day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick darkness,

Zep 1:16  A day of the trumpet and alarm against the fenced cities, and against the high towers.

Zep 1:17  And I will bring distress upon men, that they shall walk like blind men, because they have sinned against the LORD: and their blood shall be poured out as dust, and their flesh as the dung.

The Lord is serious in His refining of us in His furnace of affliction.  Nothing shall be left.  He goes on to tell us that our silver and gold, which represent our righteousness and our idols wrapped in God’s word will not be able to save us, they too will be burned by the fire of God’s jealousy.

Zep 1:18  Neither their silver nor their gold shall be able to deliver them in the day of the LORD’S wrath; but the whole land shall be devoured by the fire of his jealousy: for he shall make even a speedy riddance of all them that dwell in the land.

Thank God this is a relatively quick “speedy riddance” process as otherwise no flesh should be saved.    Our weak flesh could not endure this for too long but in God’s mercy, He does cut these days short.

Mat 24:22  And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.

Before the day comes we will get serious about obedience and begin to see our sin

Mal 4:5   Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD:

John the Baptist represents Elijah and is the work of God bringing to our mind the sins of the flesh and the ungodliness of how we are living our lives.  The law of Moses and the 10 commandments are used to bring conviction to our hearts and usher in the wrath of God against our old man.  But the coming of John within us, just precedes the coming of the Lord and the great and terrible day of the Lord.  No flesh or carnal mindedness is going to stand and remain, the Lord will complete His good work in us.  We will be converted and the words of Christ shall not return to Him void.

Joe_2:11  And the LORD shall utter his voice before his army: for his camp is very great: for he is strong that executeth his word: for the day of the LORD is great and very terrible; and who can abide it?

The answer is NOBODY can abide in the Day of the Lord.  No flesh shall stand.  All will be changed and remade.  Repentance is not a onetime deal, it is ongoing working of the Lord in our lives in this process called the Day of the Lord. So we do begin to repent and clean ourselves up when Elijah the prophet is sent to us.  We get baptized the Babylonian way and adopt their doctrines, but this all precedes the day of our judgment.  It is Christ who comes afterword that brings the judgment and baptizes us into His death with the fire of the word working in us.

Mat 3:11  I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:

Mat 3:12  Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.

The Day of the Lord is Now for God’s Elect

It is almost comical when you see it fully, but all the orthodox churches speak of Christians avoiding God’s wrath.  Most now seem to believe in a secret rapture while other just think God will miraculous protect His own from literal fireballs falling from the sky.  If the reader could understand what is being said in this verse, then the seals on the book will begin to come off.

Rev 1:3  Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keepthose things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.

People that have been reading and “hearing” or understanding the words of the book of Revelation have been experiencing their day of the Lord for 2,000 years.  It is not some past event or some way out in the future event like the various flesh doctrines of men have taught.

One is blessed when they can read, hear and then keep; which means to live or experience the words written in the following chapters of the book of Revelation.  This means that judgment has fallen upon them and that is quite sweet.

Psa 19:9-10  The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether.  More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.

1Pe 4:17  For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?

All men are proud beasts fit to be destroyed and remade in the appointed times by the Lord.  God has to show us and He does when judgment comes that we are beasts.

Ecc 3:18  I said in mine heart concerning the estate of the sons of men, that God might manifest them, and that they might see that they themselves are beasts.

By shining His light in our darkness, via the doctrines of Christ spoken by His Elect, we will come to see what and who we are.  This is the beginning of the Day of the Lord and the process by which salvation comes.

Mat 24:15  When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)

2Th 2:3  Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

and what have we been doing all the while thinking we are serving God?  We are a beast sitting on God’s throne.

2Th 2:4  Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

What is even worse, is we are deceiving others as well as ourselves speaking like the dragon but looking like a lamb.

Rev 13:11 And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.

This man of sin is all men. It is you and me especially when we think we are good and very righteous.  We simply have not yet endured what must be endured and shown for what we really are.  Pauls was shown this and we too will be shown this in our appointed times.

Rom 7:24  O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?

1Ti 1:15  This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.

Job 40:3-5  Then Job answered the LORD, and said, Behold, I am vile; what shall I answer thee? I will lay mine hand upon my mouth.

The pride of all of us must be cut down and that is a focus of God’s judgments upon us.  We have to come to see how vile we are and our need for a Savior to deliver us from our sins and self righteousness.

Isa 2:12  For the day of the LORD of hosts shall be upon every one that is proud and lofty, and upon every one that is lifted up; and he shall be brought low:

So the day of the Lord is a good day, one we should pray and hasten that it come quickly.

Rev 22:20  He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.

The coming of the Lord is not an outward event, it is an inward event, where Christ will appear to us a second time for salvation without sin.  For a blessed few, that will be in this life in the flesh as God’s Elect.  Christ will appear in the heavens and the elements will be destroyed with fire and heat of His judgments against our carnal mind.

2Pe 3:12  Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?

We will never know the truths of the Lord’s day until we have first been living it.  Then we will hear the truth and be able to look behind us and where we have walked and with God given eyes we will see what the Lord is, was and will be doing in the lives of all men, beginning with His very Elect.  We will see Jesus Christ with Spiritual Eyes and hear His voice with Spiritual Ears.  These words below describe Jesus Christ perfectly and on that day, we will hear these words and we will begin to understand the deep things of God.

Rev 1:10  I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet,

Rev 1:11  Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea.

Rev 1:12  And I turned to see the voice that spake with me. And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks;

Rev 1:13 And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle.

Rev 1:14His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire;

Rev 1:15 And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters.

Rev 1:16 And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength.

These words describe Christ and His Body and how they minister to the inhabitants of the earth.

Understanding the Lord’s plan and the purposes of His fiery trials and our partaking of His sufferings is needed for us to endure to the very end.  We have to know the reason behind it if we are to be found faithful.  We won’t be able to count it as joy if we are ignorant of God’s plan for us the Elect.  When God gives us a hunger and a thirst to know righteousness, He is going to fulfill that desire and bring circumstances into our live to teach us and this is how we learn it.

Isa 26:9 With my soul have I desired thee in the night; yea, with my spirit within me will I seek thee early: for when thy judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness.

This is what I think of now when I think about the Day of the Lord.  I pray to hasten its coming and completion of God’s good work.

Psa 107:8 Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!

So I hope this has helped some to understand this topic and to know what may lie ahead if this things have not yet fallen upon you.  Your focus should be in the mirror and inwardly as that is where Christ does His work in the hearts and minds of men.  Only a few will be taught of God the truth of His word and these will be dragged out of Babylon as part of the process of judgment.  Christ will come to us as a thief in the night to begin His good work in us.  May you be found watching.

1Th_5:4  But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.

Mat 24:42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.

The days is coming.  Wait for it then stand in this day knowing what the Lord is doing in His saints.  The man will be formed and repentance will be granted to all men and all Israel shall be saved in the end.

2Pe 3:9  The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

There is so much false religion that is not love.  This falling away from the truth is the sign of the end times.  There is so much deception it is unbelievable for those whom God has awakened and given eyes to see it.  We must be circumspect in these darkening  days and guard our hearts because it is easy to be caught in the web of man’s traditions and carnal logic.  Indeed most have been captured and caught by something religious and stay in a spiritual prison.  It is only by the grace of God that we can ever see anything spiritually or even have a heart for the things of God. I am going to share some things that I have been shown, which if you see them clearly will shake to the ground and expose the false religion most of us have pursued.  This may come against some strongly held beliefs you may have and yes some of them can be defended by picking and choosing thru the Scriptures, but they are lies and will keep you in bondage and from producing the fruit of love and righteousness.

First off you need to get past the claim and secret boast that you saved yourself.  Few will expressly say this, but very many implicitly claim it in their message and ministry.  This is wrong and shows they still have not grasped the wholeness of the  true gospel.  They just cannot see it, YET.  It is a fact that only God saves.  It is by His sovereign choice and election.  Oh yea, we got things to do once we are chosen,  but we should never ever puff ourselves up and think we are somebody because we know the Lord or a few Scriptures.

To Him goes ALL the glory!  Men will want to argue this “free will” issue till the cows come home but as it relates to initial salvation, we have no free will and can never reason it is because of our deeds or actions or will that we have come to know the Lord.   God is the mighty Savior, not men.  A dead person without life in the Spirit cannot choose to seek after God.  Good luck trying to explain these Scripture away as many have tried:

John 1:12-13 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name,  who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God

John 6:44 No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up on the last day

John 6:37 All that the Father gives Me will come to Me

John 14:16 You did not choose Me but I chose you, and appointed you that you would go and bear fruit, and that your fruit would remain

Romans 3:10-12 There is none righteous, not even one;  There is none who understands, There is none who seeks for God; All have turned aside, together they have become useless; There is none who does good, There is not even one.”

Isaiah 64:7 And there is none that calleth upon thy name, that stirreth up himself to take hold of thee: for thou hast hid thy face from us, and hast consumed us, because of our iniquities.

Romans 9:15-16 For He says to Moses, “I will have mercy on whomever I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whomever I will have compassion.” So then it is not of him who wills, nor of him who runs, but of God who shows mercy.

This could go on and on as this is the truth shown from Genesis to Revelation.  But you get the picture I hope.  We are the clay and HE is the potter.  None of us seek after God or find God on our own initiative.  This is not a defense of Calvinism which I have issues with and am not a follower.  So if you want to accuse me of that be my guest but I hope you will read the rest of this and take it to God first.  Salvation is of the Lord.  This is a core gospel truth that man has cut out to justify building the church by the work of their own hands.

Jonah 2:9  That which I have vowed I will pay. Salvation is from the Lord!

Men need to quit boasting for being smart enough to save themselves.  Men need to quit condemning others that do not yet have eyes to see.   The people of God must quit being led by the spirit that is the accuser of the brethren.  This is all spiritual pride that is hidden deep into the hearts of many.  We must cleanse our hearts of all such filth to walk in newness of life and bear the peaceable fruit of righteousness which is love.

There is a huge log in all of our eyes that must be plucked out before we can see.  When our ministry and walk is all about pointing out specks in others and focused on finding fault, you can be sure, you still have a huge log in your eye.

I say this out of love, having been the worst of such offenders.  But there was no true inner peace.  The peace of God will never live in our heart when we are walking with a spirit of condemnation and judgment.

Many pretend obedience to the Lord and can spout off Scriptures right and left on holiness and godliness.  Yet they are far from true godliness.  They have a form of godliness yet inside are full of dead men’s bones.  They know who they are and don’t really need to be told by any of us.  The word of God itself will convict them and their lack of confidence before God should be a big clue.  But this was me as indeed I was living as a hypocrite and claiming to love yet being nothing but an evil judge clanging a gong.   What defiles a man lives and lurks on the inside.  We must come to judge ourselves in this regard.  It is God’s will that each and every one of us be sanctified and cleansed from all of this impurity that defiles and secretly tries to steal God’s glory.

Our walk with Jesus Christ is all about getting the living WORD planted deep inside of hearts and letting it transform us into the image and likeness of the Lord.  This is the mystery of godliness.  It is God’s work to do, He is the one who performs it, we just must submit to Him in faith.  So many have been deceived by the god of this world who has corrupted the simplicity and purity of our devotion to Christ.

Love God and Love your Neighbor – this fulfills the whole Law

But as we begin to cleanse ourselves of our sins by submission to the Holy Spirit and suffering in the flesh; be watchful for the enemy who will tempt you into taking credit for your goodness, intellect and faith.  It is not you my friend; it is God as only God is good.  This is how the enemy eats up the good seeds and the plant grows and is cursed as a fig tree bearing no fruit.  It is GOD working in you to both will and to do.  Give Him all the glory.

Phil 2:12-13  Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. 13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.

It truly sickening to see the fulfillment of Matthew 24:5 about all the deceivers being played out in real-time on the Internet and the various social media.  The false prophets and false teachers are too numerous to even count anymore.  I truly need to clean up my life and mark those that cause such division and shun them.  That is our instruction on how to deal with false teachers.  So many like I did have morphed into evil judges and know not the origins of their faith and salvation.  They are storing up wrath by such actions by not walking in the way of the Spirit.

If you have been blessed by the Lord and shown the truth I speak of above, you will be a lot more humble than you once were.  Spiritual pride is instantly vaporized when exposed to the bright blinding light that is the love of Jesus Christ.  This gospel of Jesus and Him Crucified, will expose the hypocrisy and feigned humility of all religious activities that are not grounded in true agape love. This is a God kind of love that loves even when not deserved with no expectation of favor or return.   It seems so many of us have forgotten this:

Romans 5:8  But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us

Who are we to boast?  The only boasting we can make is that we know the Lord and even that only by His grace.

Jeremiah 9:23-24 Thus saith the Lord, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches. But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the Lord which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the Lord.

The disputing, criticisms, judgment, gossiping, backbiting and accusations will only stop when one comes to see the truth of salvation. Those still in the flesh blinded by the god of this world that do not see this glorious gospel in its fullness cannot help themselves.  So we should judge them not on this as it is by God’s will only that they shall see.  It is by grace we have been saved and the faith we need to access that grace is a gift from God.  We don’t decide to have faith.  A spiritually dead person does not decide to seek after God.  It is all the work of God.

Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that (the faith) not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast

Even the very faith that starts our walk is a gift from God.  Our boasting as Paul wrote in Romans 3:27 must be excluded and have no part in our ministry.  So many are taking credit for their faith and being evil judges and accusers of the brethren.  They think they serve God but it truly is sad.  I am not mad at them,  I pray God will give them mercy and open their eyes to this deception so they could understand the love of God.

My purpose here is to make the point that it is the Lord alone who saves not any man.  We have things to do to choose to act upon this faith and we will indeed bear the consequences of our obedience (blessings) or disobedience (curses).  So we must choose wisely and serve the Lord who has chosen to save us through His divine gifts.  Thank you Jesus for giving us a measure of faith.

Romans 12:3  For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.

ACTS 13:48 Now when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad and glorified the word of the Lord. And as many as had been appointed to eternal life believed

God decides who is saved now.  But in the end always planned to show mercy to all.  I will no longer be pointing fingers and accusing.  Instead I will be preaching the gospel.  That is  the good news of Jesus Christ and Him Crucified.  It is not up to me or you to save anyone.  That is the choice of an almighty God.  Jesus does build His own church.  I know I will be hated and spurned for the gospel that is a promise in the Scriptures.  But we must press on and work in the field God has placed us leaving the vengeance and judgment to Him.  I hope we all come to unity in the faith, the simple child like faith that saves us and not let our pursuit of knowledge or selfish ambition make us evil judges of hearts.  We best heed the Apostle.

James 4:11 Do not speak evil of one another, brethren. He who speaks evil of a brother and judges his brother, speaks evil of the law and judges the law. But if you judge the law, you are not a doer of the law but a judge. 12 There is one Lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy. Who are you to judge another?

My prayer for all that do not know the Lord or are living in sin and helpless to overcome is that the Lord will have the same mercy on them as He did on me.  We will indeed be judged by the same measure we mete out to others.  If you want these blessings of God, then you better be sowing them.  The measure of a true disciple of Jesus Christ is this.  I have made it very large on purpose.

John 13:34-35 A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another

How did Jesus love us?  Did He go around condemning sinners? Did Jesus kick people when they were down?   No,  as we saw up above He died for us while we were yet sinners. We should encourage holy living and the putting off the deeds of the flesh but most that do this are doing it with a spirit of condemnation and spiritual pride not in agape love.  Their motive is wrong.  I think the example of the woman caught in adultery is a good one for us to follow.  What Jesus did condemn and rebuke was religious people acting proudly with external forms of godliness that had not the love of God in their heart.

A true Born Again person will have this desire planted deep in their heart by the Spirit of God.  The love of God will compel them to live righteously and godly.  And when we fall down or stray, the Spirit of God is going to be right there to correct us and chastise us and bring discipline and wrath if we continue in our disobedience.   But you see this is the work of God, not the work of men.  Let us live for God and not for ourselves.   Don’t misread this as of course we are to correct brothers and pull specks out of eyes and wash their feet, but we do that gently, with humility, with love as our only motive.  When we act that way, it is God doing the correction working thru the Spirit of God that is inside of a true believer.

Prostitutes and tax collectors were already entering into the Kingdom of God, 2000 years ago.  The kingdom of God was near, at the very door Jesus said even way back then.  My friends, I hope you enter into that door that is Christ Himself. God forbid you become a Pharisee and not enter in nor allow others to enter in to this spiritual kingdom.  Jesus will return one day soon and all of us will stand and be judged according to our deeds.

John 5:28-29 Do not marvel at this; for an hour is coming, in which all who are in the tombs will hear His voice, 29 and will come forth; those who did the good deeds to a resurrection of life, those who committed the evil deeds to a resurrection of judgment.

The Scriptures tells that many will be astounded and that faces will melt in fear and horror when some realize their religion was a big fat deception (Isaiah 13, 1 Thess 5).  We must be judging ourselves in this regard and inspecting our fruit of righteousness.  I urge all to be looking at this litmus test and not camp around your intellect or Scripture knowledge or good deeds you have done in the past.  Jesus said we will know them by their fruits.

Galatians 5:22-23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,  gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.

Do not grow weary in doing good.  But please quit the boasting and remember where you were  — dead in your sins and trespasses until God showed you mercy and saved you.  Now we are to go and do likewise to others.  Remember who does the saving.

ACTS 2:47  And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved

 May God Bless You Richly
