Micah Part 15 – Saviours from Bethlehem

Saviours From Bethlehem

Key Verses Micah 5:1 – 5:6

Our verses in Micah Chapter 5 will once again speak to the “is, was and will be” nature of the Word of God. These Scriptures foretell what the Elect of God, the chosen few, are living out inwardly in the IS and WAS context now as we are brought to maturity through our trials and tribulations. Yet these words of Micah also speak to the WILL BE fulfillment of God’s plan and how He will use His Elect to be the Lake of Fire and usher in the salvation of all. Here are the verses for today.

Mic 5:1 Now gather thyself in troops, O daughter of troops: he hath laid siege against us: they shall smite the judge of Israel with a rod upon the cheek.

Mic 5:2 But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.

Mic 5:3 Therefore will he give them up, until the time that she which travaileth hath brought forth: then the remnant of his brethren shall return unto the children of Israel.

Mic 5:4 And he shall stand and feed in the strength of the LORD, in the majesty of the name of the LORD his God; and they shall abide: for now shall he be great unto the ends of the earth.

Mic 5:5 And this man shall be the peace, when the Assyrian shall come into our land: and when he shall tread in our palaces, then shall we raise against him seven shepherds, and eight principal men.

Mic 5:6 And they shall waste the land of Assyria with the sword, and the land of Nimrod in the entrances thereof: thus shall he deliver us from the Assyrian, when he cometh into our land, and when he treadeth within our borders.

The Body of Christ are the anointed of God and the instrument through which His work is done. The words of fire we speak judge us now in the Body and if we endure will bring judgement to all men and all nations in the ages to come. Christ was sent to save the world and it is through His Christ that it is being accomplished now first in His sons and then later in all humanity.

Joh 20:21 Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.

Joh 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him (The Body) might be saved.

To get the job done of saving mankind, our Lord had to pour out His blood and we in turn will also drink of that same cup (Mat 20:23). It is through death of our old man now that we become the living sacrifice for the Lord and by that sacrifice the saviours of men. We are drinking of this cup, the suffering, the trials and tribulations that the Elect are appointed to endure now in this age if we belong to Christ (Phi 1:29).

Mat 26:28 For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins (salvation)
Mat 26:29 But I say unto you, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father’s kingdom.

Let’s explore the verses in greater detail and distinguish the IS, NOW and WILL BE applications of these prophetic Words.

Mic 5:1 Now gather thyself in troops, O daughter of troops: he hath laid siege against us: they shall smite the judge of Israel with a rod upon the cheek.

The Lord destroys our old man by judgment as this is the process by which we are corrected (Jer 2:19) and learn righteousness (Isa 26:9). Flesh is caused to rise up against God’s people, Christ within us now and the entire Body of Christ at the end of the Millennium. Then fire from heaven will come to destroy our enemies and bring an end to flesh.

Rev 20:9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.

Eze 38:18 And it shall come to pass at the same time when Gog shall come against the land of Israel, saith the Lord GOD, that my fury shall come up in my face.

That Assyrian nations are used to smite the Elect of God (Isa 10:5-6) who will be the judges of all Israel in due time. The wicked nations within and without are used of the Lord to work righteousness in His people. In this way nothing is wasted and even the wicked the Lord made are used in our day of evil.

Psa 17:13 Arise, O LORD, disappoint him, cast him down: deliver my soul from the wicked, which is thy sword:

Pro 16:4 The LORD hath made all things for himself: yea, even the wicked for the day of evil.

When judgment is in full bloom the new man in us will be surrounded by these heathen armies (Luk 21:20). This takes place inwardly first in our day of the Lord and will take place outwardly as the precursor to the destruction of all flesh. Salvation is the result of the end of flesh which is deliverance from sin and death. Living through this process of the rebellion of the heathen nations and the subsequent judgment is how we learn to distinguish good and evil. This brings about the Lord’s will, our sanctification and is how we come to know He is the Lord and we are nothing but clay in His hands.

Eze 39:27 When I have brought them again from the people, and gathered them out of their enemies’ lands, and am sanctified in them in the sight of many nations;

Eze 39:28 Then shall they know that I am the LORD their God, which caused them to be led into captivity among the heathen: but I have gathered them unto their own land, and have left none of them anymore there.

Heathen nations do not take kindly to be ruled by the horn of iron we looked at last week and will seek to wrest away God’s judgment in their carnal reasoning. But when the Lord comes with fire and that day has arrived the overcomers overcome in the winepress of God’s judgment.

Rev 19:1 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.

Our mouth’s must be trained to stop speaking lies and blasphemy against the Lord and this process spiritually smites our cheeks.

Psa 3:7 Arise, O LORD; save me, O my God: for thou hast smitten all mine enemies upon the cheek bone; thou hast broken the teeth of the ungodly.

The ungodly fight back, they respect persons and live by the eye for an eye principle that is at the center of the carnal law of Gentiles. Resisting not evil (Mat 5:39) and turning the other cheek is foolishness to natural mind but a needed outcome for us to grow in the faith and be prepared to be the judges and rulers of mankind.

Mic 5:2 But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.

Jesus Christ is the Word and that is what is ruling us more and more as we mature through our judgment process. As the Lord of the heaven and the earth, whose goings forth have been ordained since before the world was formed; He is being made manifest within us in these last days of our fleshly mindset.

1Pe 1:20 Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,

The little flock that is the Body of Christ, the few chosen (Mat 22:14) also known as the Elect, are like their Lord and always born in a manger full of beasts (Ecc 3:18) in a spiritual city of Bethlehem. As He is so are we in this world applies to our spiritual birth.

Mat 2:6 And thou Bethlehem, in the land of Juda, art not the least among the princes of Juda: for out of thee shall come a Governor, that shall rule my people Israel.

Bethlehem means House of Bread.

H1035, bêyth lechem, bayth leh’-khem

From H1004 and H3899; house of bread; Beth-Lechem, a place in Palestine: – Beth-lehem.

The Body of Christ is the House of the Lord (1Co 3:16) in which this bread of life is shared and eaten. The bread of life is the Word which is Jesus Christ.

Joh 6:51 I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live forever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world

Bearing the cross and the reproach of this world is how we eat of this bread which is eating of His flesh and drinking of His blood. This is the cup all men shall certainly drink (Mat 20:23) as the wrath of God is poured out upon our fleshly life.

Joh 6:54 Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.

Joh 6:56 He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him.

The bread of life is also known as the bread of adversity as it pertains to our old man and carnal way of life. That life is being ended and all things being made new by this new bread we eat from heaven that is the fiery Word. This is how we are caused to walk in His ways in due time.

Isa 30:20 And though the Lord give you the bread of adversity, and the water of affliction, yet shall not thy teachers be removed into a corner any more, but thine eyes shall see thy teachers:

Isa 30:21 And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.

The juxtaposition of Bethlehem and Ephratah in this verse has an important spiritual lesson.  The word Ephratah means fruitfulness and is another name for Bethlehem.

Gen 48:7 And as for me, when I came from Padan, Rachel died by me in the land of Canaan in the way, when yet there was but a little way to come unto Ephrath: and I buried her there in the way of Ephrath; the same is Bethlehem.  Here is how Strong’s defines Ephrath.

 H672, ephrâthâh

From H6509; fruitfulness; Ephrath, another name for Bethlehem

God commands us to be fruitful and to multiply (Gen 1:28). The fruit of the Spirit comes about by our enduring through our process of judgment and waiting on the Lord to finish His good work in us. This chastening is our partaking of this bread from heaven.

Heb 12:11 Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless, afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.

The fruits of the Spirit only manifest after the death of the flesh and our old man.

Gal 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,

Gal 5:23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

Gal 5:24 And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.

Prophets of the Lord only take us so far. They bring the Truth but are unable to enter into and possess the land and bear the fruit. Only their descendants after them, their sons and daughters, the maturing mind sets that are given to overcome will enter in.

Num 20:12 And the LORD spake unto Moses and Aaron, Because ye believed me not, to sanctify me in the eyes of the children of Israel, therefore ye shall not bring this congregation into the land which I have given them.

Heb 11:13 These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.

We see this principle in the story of Rachael and the bearing of two sons Joseph and Benjamin.

Gen 35:15 And Jacob called the name of the place where God spake with him, Bethel.

Gen 35:16 And they journeyed from Bethel; and there was but a little way to come to Ephrath: and Rachel travailed, and she had hard labour.

Gen 35:18 And it came to pass, as her soul was in departing, (for she died) that she called his name Benoni: but his father called him Benjamin.

Gen 35:19 And Rachel died, and was buried in the way to Ephrath, which is Bethlehem.

Gen 35:20 And Jacob set a pillar upon her grave: that is the pillar of Rachel’s grave unto this day

It is not a long journey from the Lord speaking with us until the travailing begins. Rachael in her dying names Benjamin, Benoni, which means “son of my sorrow”. As we die to flesh, we weep and mourn and lament for all our troubles. Yet this is how the new man comes forth that is seated at the right hand of God. As a type of Christ, Jacob and Benjamin, both illustrate our being used as the instruments of the Lord’s work. We are His right hand, the sons of God, as was Benjamin in type and the very meaning of his name.

H1144, binyâmı̂yn, bin-yaw-mene’

From H1121 and H3225; son of (the) right hand; Binjamin, youngest son of Jacob; also the tribe descended from him, and its territory: – Benjamin.

The right hand of the Lord is what destroys the enemies and saves us.

Exo 15:6 Thy right hand, O LORD, is become glorious in power: thy right hand, O LORD, hath dashed in pieces the enemy.

Heb 8:1 Now of the things which we have spoken this is the sum: We have such an high priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens;

The Lord changes not. The new man comes forth only through the much travailing that is spiritual childbirth or said another way JUDGMENT. Only the man child is preordained to rule and reign and lives on to complete the overcoming process. The Body of Christ, the House of Bread, is the “house of dying” when speaking to the old man and is also the “house of fruit” or Eprath. New life and much fruit only come by way of death.

Joh 12:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.

Our spiritual mother from Babylon dies on the way to the House of Bread and the place where fruit will become plentiful called Ephrath. God’s people all must come out of Babylon however when the hour is come that the Lord shall be glorified in us, Rachael dies and Benjamin is born.

Mic 5:3 Therefore will he give them up, until the time that she which travaileth hath brought forth: then the remnant of his brethren shall return unto the children of Israel.

Mic 5:4 And he shall stand and feed [H7462] the strength of the LORD, in the majesty of the name of the LORD his God; and they shall abide: for now shall he be great unto the ends of the earth.

The Lord is saving people in His preordained order established before the foundation of the world. The end and every point in between has been declared from the beginning (Isa 46:10).

Act 17:26 And He has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth, and has determined their preappointed times and the boundaries of their dwellings,

We are given over to the lusts and sins of the flesh until the Lord says it is time. Then those courts and the temple that have been trampled by the Gentile nations is being cleared out by the coming of Christ within.

Joh 2:15 And when he had made a scourge of small cords, he drove them all out of the temple, and the sheep, and the oxen; and poured out the changers’ money, and overthrew the tables;

Joh 2:16 And said unto them that sold doves, Take these things hence; make not my Father’s house an house of merchandise.

The Holy City and Temple which we are, is being trodden down by the Gentiles until the preordained time that the Lord returns bringing our judgment (Luk 21:24). That symbolic first half of our witness is not being judged during this time of rebellion, it is not measured by the plumb line.

Rev 11:2 But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.

The period of time between having true doctrine and not obeying it is when we live out inwardly the trampling of the Holy City by the Gentiles within us. This is all part of the Lord’s strange process to being occasion when He comes the second time with the fire that saves us.

Isa 5:5 And now go to; I will tell you what I will do to my vineyard: I will take away the hedge thereof, and it shall be eaten up; and break down the wall thereof, and it shall be trodden down:

The false pastors are not some Babylonian preacher speaking on eternal hellfire. It is you and me hearing but not doing the Word having been overrun by the Gentiles which represent the flesh and the enmity of the carnal mind against the things of the Lord.

All the brethren, ALL of ISRAEL, shall be saved and in these pre-appointed times that coincide with the three harvest feasts of the Lord. The last feast will be the harvest of all men via this process of judgment through the work of “The Christ” as the Lake of Fire. The word for shepherd is the same word as feed.  Shepherding the flock is feeding the flock.

Jesus Christ is the Bread of life that save us. Being fed spiritually means we are being fed judgment which is the chastening and scourging the Lord brings to every son He receives (Heb 12:6, Eze 34:16). “The Christ”of Christ is collectively the shepherd of the sheep and through whom we are fed this life saving or life destroying (depending on the old man vs new man point of view) bread.

Eze 34:23 And I will set up one shepherd over them, and he shall feed them, even my servant David; he shall feed them, and he shall be their shepherd.

Eating and drinking worthily is how we are fed and strengthened in the faith and move from a babe knowing true doctrine to a mature man having learned to discern good and evil through much chastening and scourging through the Word of God. The Lord IS COMING more and more as we endure. We are commanded to keep on eating and drinking to show the Lord’s death in us.

1Co 11:26 For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord’s death till he come.

Mic 5:5 And this man shall be the peace, when the Assyrian shall come into our land: and when he shall tread in our palaces, then shall we raise against him seven shepherds, and eight principal [H5257] men.

Christ is the Prince of Peace and brings that via a sword and by making war in our heavens.  Knowing these truths is how we as God’s people can endure this suffering with joy knowing the Lord’s purposes in all of it. The purpose of our enduring all this judgment and the corresponding pain and suffering, both physically and spiritually, is for the glory of the Lord (His Word) to be made manifest within us. It is when we are brought into fellowship with the small remnant the Lord is saving now (His right hand) that we will begin to understand the Lord’s purposes and take comfort in our trials.

Eze 14:22 Yet, behold, therein shall be left a remnant that shall be brought forth, both sons and daughters: behold, they shall come forth unto you, and ye shall see their way and their doings: and ye shall be comforted concerning the evil that I have brought upon Jerusalem, even concerning all that I have brought upon it.

When we abide in this Body it is here we shall be comforted and find refuge from the trials and persecutions we must endure living in this flesh bodies in this carnal world.

Eze 14:23 And they (The Body) shall comfort you, when ye see their ways and their doings: and ye shall know that I have not done without cause all that I have done in it, saith the Lord GOD.

There is a purpose in all of our trials and afflictions. We may not understand it in the moment and will learn to stand on faith and not seek the comfort of the world to wrest away the judgments of God. Ultimately as we look behind us and mature in the faith we are comforted and are used of the Lord to comfort others!

2Co 1:4 Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.

2Co 1:5 For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also aboundeth by Christ.

2Co 1:6 And whether we be afflicted, it is for your consolation and salvation, which is effectual in the enduring of the same sufferings which we also suffer: or whether we be comforted, it is for your consolation and salvation.

Our being brought to completion by enduring through our judgments is the significance of the seven shepherds. The number eight represents the new man and our new beginnings as a DOER of the Word that follows the completion (Seven) of our judgment. The Assyrian strongholds within our flesh and in the outward carnal world are strong and it is impossible to overcome them without the overcomer within us doing the work.  Christ in us is the overcomer and the one who is stronger than the Assyrian king who spoils those heathen kingdoms within us.

Joh 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

Christ did it and as His Christ overcome our enemies the same way if we are faithful to the end.

Rev 17:14 These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.

The word translated as principal as in principal man is only used that way one time.  The Hebrew word is H5257 and here is Strong’s definition.

 H5257,  nes-eek’

From H5258; properly something poured out, that is, a libation; also a molten image; by implication a prince (as anointed): – drink offering, duke, prince (-ipal).

We are that drink offering.  We are the living sacrifice and our reasonable service is to give all to Christ and prepare Him (His Body, His Christ) for His burial.

Mat 26:12 For in that she hath poured this ointment on my body, she did it for my burial.

Breaking bread and eating together, reproving one another with the Word is one way this ointment is poured out. The principal man is an angel of the Lord pouring out wrath upon the old man and the very throne of the beast. All seven of the vials of wrath are said to be poured out by the angels of God and represent the speaking the Word. This is the way of salvation, the only way for all men “in the appointed time”.

Rev 16:17 And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done.

Here is the last verse for our study.

Mic 5:6 And they shall waste the land of Assyria with the sword, and the land of Nimrod in the entrances [H6607] thereof: thus shall he deliver us from the Assyrian, when he cometh into our land, and when he treadeth within our borders.

The land of Nimrod is another symbol for Babylon and the land of Shinar that Nimrod established after the flood (Gen 10:9-10). He stands for the mighty one in the earth that brings to mind a mighty beast that needs to be judged.

Gen 10:8 And Cush begat Nimrod: he began to be a mighty one in the earth.

Rev 13:11 And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.

To be delivered from the carnal oppressors we must enter into The Christ which are the entrances and doors being spoken of in Micah 5:6. The word for “entrances” is H6607 which is almost always translated as door or doors. This rendering helps to open the meaning via the sum of God’s word.

Joh 10:1 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.

Joh 10:2 But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep.

Jesus via His Body of Christ is the door.

Joh 10:7 Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep.

So it is Jesus Christ, this eighth man, who treads on the Assyrians who have trampled on the holy things in our heavens and on our earth. Vengeance is the Lord’s and He will bring us to the still waters where the flesh is in submission. This is how we lie down in green pasture where we are fed with judgment via the living Word.

Joh 10:9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.

Psa 23:2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.

It is by the mercy of God’s Elect that all men will be given mercy. Mercy, contrary to the Babylonian traditions is not fleshly comfort, it is bringing the chastening that burns out ungodliness from our heavens and delivers us from our sins.

Rom 11:26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:

Rom 11:27 For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.

As we experience, true doctrine is given to us first to wash us clean. But then the fire must come to burn out our sins and make us into overcomers being doers of the Word. The Body of Christ does the greater work washing our feet and bringing the fire that works to purify the heavens. We do this work now for one another by abiding and fellowshipping in this Body. We will do it for all mankind and judge all the tribes of Israel in the Lake of Fire. Those roles are the upward calling of God given to the very small “remnant of Jacob” who overcome in this life.

Php 3:14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus

Entering the Kingdom of God

I want to speak about entering the kingdom of God.   I want to share some understanding and hopefully let those who have ears to hear the truth hear it.  There is so much falsehood and error regarding the kingdom of God which has been available to be entered into for 2,000 years.

Luke 17:20-21  Now when He was asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, He answered them and said, “The kingdom of God does not come with observation; 21 nor will they say, ‘See here!’ or ‘See there!’ For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you.”

Carnal Christianity sees the promised blessing of eternal life as being some far off thing that comes only to a very few who will live for eternity with God.  This is always a future event awaiting the physical return of the Lord Jesus.  While such physical return does await and I hasten for it to come,  the kingdom of God was near and had already come 2,000 years ago.  The door that is Christ has been opened for those that the Father has chosen.  True disciples chosen by God will know this and will go and preach this gospel into the world.  Jesus told us 2,000 years ago not to point to a far off future event.  We bring healing to the world and tell them of this good news and kingdom that has come near. But make no mistake,  the kingdom of God or alternatively the kingdom of heaven was at hand a long time ago.  It was near, at the very door.

Luke 10:9  And heal the sick there, and say to them, ‘The kingdom of God HAS COME near to you.’

Matthew 4:17  From that time on Jesus began to preach, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven IS NEAR.

Mark 1:15  The time promised by God has come at last!” he announced. “The Kingdom of God IS NEAR! Repent of your sins and believe the Good News!”

Knowing this truth about the kingdom of God,  it provides a totally different perspective on all those passages that have carnal man reading their newspapers and looking to the future to determine when Jesus is returning.  He comes without visible observation just as the Lord said at the opening verse from Luke 17:20.

Mark 13:29  Now learn this parable from the fig tree: When its branch has already become tender, and puts forth leaves, you know that summer is near. 29 So you also, when you see these things happening, know that it is near—at the doors!

His kingdom has indeed come just as Jesus told us to pray.  Thy kingdom come,  thy will be done.  His will is our sanctification and it will come in its appointed time.  Guaranteed by the power of the cross and the oath of God’s word.

Once Jesus ascended up into heaven,  then the special blessing of the Holy Spirit could be poured out.  This is why it was beneficial that Jesus return to the Father as He explained to the dumbfounded carnal minded disciples at that time.  Jesus explained to the disciples that the appointed time for each to be saved and have the kingdom of God appear within them was only in the authority of God the Father.

ACTS 1:6  Therefore, when they had come together, they asked Him, saying, “Lord, will You at this time restore the kingdom to Israel?” 7 And He said to them, “It is not for you to know times or seasons which the Father has put in His own authority.

This is how we enter into the kingdom of God.  At the election and appointment of the Father.  So many just cannot grasp the simple truth that God controls who believes, who comes to faith and salvation is only the work of God.  Man has no choice in the matter.  This is clearly shown in the book of ACTS in several places including this one.

ACTS 13:48  Now when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad and glorified the word of the Lord. And as many as had been appointed to eternal life believed.

I do pray the Lord will send more harvesters into the field with the truth.  Because this is an important catalyst of how people come to enter into the kingdom.  Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the WORD OF GOD.  We have work cut out for us as there will be much opposition to the true gospel.  The carnal minds of men will be at enmity with the truth I preach along with many others.  We are dealing with a monstrous falling away from faith and belief in this eternal hell and self-will of man to choose God.  Those who believe this will see the broad way that leads to destruction referring to the 99% that go to this eternal hell hole.

The Scriptures do not teach such nonsense.  Such beliefs are all the deceptions of carnal minded men who have interpreted the Scriptures without the requisite revealing of the Lord Jesus.  Such false doctrines are many and the false precepts and traditions make sure that each of us is born into and raised in spiritual darkness awaiting the revealing of God to our hearts in the appointed time.

There are clearly more ages to come and the glorious eternity for all creation and all men to be bowing and worshipping before the Lord.  This is the blessed hope for all creation and magnifies the name of the awesome God I serve.  John saw a vision of this age to come.

Rev 5:13  And every creature which is in heaven and on the earth and under the earth and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, I heard saying:

“Blessing and honor and glory and power
Be to Him who sits on the throne,
And to the Lamb, forever and ever!”

My focus is not to refute eternal hell in this post as God knows I have already done that in recent posts.  My purpose here is look at the Scripture that speaks to inheriting, entering and seeing the KINGDOM OF GOD here on this earth in this body of sinful flesh.

Matthew 22:14  For many are called, but few are chosen

It is our Father, God who chooses the Bride for His Son.  The chosen or the elect of God are the bride that will come to the wedding feast of the Lord.  This is supping with God thru the Lord Jesus in our hearts.  Few there be shall find the way.

Matthew 7:13-14  Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. 14 Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.

Jesus is the Savior of all men, but especially of those given this gift of precious faith from the Father.  Do you see in this verse that those that go the broad way, still enter in?  It says there are MANY who go in by the broad way of  destruction.  For these many, entering into the kingdom has not been ordained for this life and age, at least not yet — but will be in the ages to come.  They have been destined for captivity and their hearts will remain hardened to this gospel until their time does come.  And this is why we never ever judge those in the world who have not received this gift of faith.  But the power of God is undeniable and all that the Father gives to Jesus will come, there will be none that are lost.

John 6:39  This is the will of Him who sent Me, that of all that He has given Me I lose nothing, but raise it up on the last day

Getting this good news settled in our heart is only done by faith and that a gift.  This is the good news gospel that God has chosen to put into the mouths of His chosen few.  This is what we shall preach and teach regardless of the opinions of men, especially those of religious men who know not the living God.

1 Tim 4:10-11 For to this end we both labor and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Savior of all men, especially of those who believe. 11 These things command and teach!

It is an honor to suffer shame and hatred for the sake of the Lord Jesus.  In this I rejoice as I know all my other brothers and sisters in Christ are rejoicing all over this world.  What a privilege the Father has granted to His elect.

Phil 1:29  For it has been granted to you on behalf of Christ not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for him,

There are many verses that speak to NOT entering into the kingdom God.  A carnal mind will always think of these warning passages as speaking to those  going to an eternal hell.  But what they really to speak is a reminder to those so blessed and chosen of God to not practice any of these things nor cast the pearls of wisdom given by God to such that do.  You see, a man still walking in the flesh is incapable of cleaning himself up and circumcising his own heart.  Such a person we are told is not a son or daughter of God.  Their deeds and the fruit they produce is the proof of the pudding.  This is what we are not to be deceived about.  But his has nothing to do with an eternal torment in hell.  Such people will be living in destruction and never finding the true peace that defines those who God has dragged into His kingdom.  Salvation is all the work of God in the appointed time.  Anyone doing such wicked deeds and practicing them is certainly not called of God yet and is by no means chosen and by definition are an unbeliever and an antichrist.

1 John 2:3-4  Now by this we know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments. 4 He who says, “I know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth (that is CHRIST) is not in him.

There are very many Christian liars for sure of which I was one of the worst imaginable until the Lord had mercy on me.  What defiles a man lives in his heart and all the wicked are full of dead man’s bones and speak the things of spiritual death. Things like these:

Galatians 5:19  Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, 20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, 21 envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

Anyone doing such things will not be blessed and holy and in the first resurrection.  These will not inherit the kingdom now and unless chosen later will not partake in the symbolic thousand year reign of Christ on this earth.   Far greater blessing to come to Christ now, by the will of the Father; and enter into and posses the land that is a pure heart in Christ Jesus.

Trees of righteousness planted by God do not produce bad fruit (Matthew 7:17).  That is why these words of warning are all over the Scripture that are written only for the eyes and ears of the Elect of God.  These verses have nothing to do with an eternal hell as is widely believed in Christian circles.

1 Corinthians 6:9 Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God.

Paul was speaking tough words to the church at Corinth.  Many of them were yet babes and carnal minded and had not come to a fuller understanding of spiritual things and did not comprehend the blessing they had already received through the gift of faith.  Paul goes on to tell them to not associate with those who practice such things and to remember from where God had brought them out of bondage to those sins.

1 COR 6:11  And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God

Those in the church did not wash themselves or clean themselves up,  this was all the work of God who generously poured out His Spirit into their hearts (Romans 5:5).  All the churches (the elect of God) that Paul wrote to got the same warning.   The same warning about the practice of sin is given and then we have this gem, which has been used to tell many they are going to an eternal hell.

Gal 5:24  And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. 26 Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another.

Of course we know, that this crucifying of the flesh, was the work and power of God who did it without hands.  We just get in on it by faith and trusting in the Lord and His promises.  Now we do have a responsibility to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit once the gift is given to us.  So by no means is this statement saying that we have no accountability to God as is the often heard accusation.  But anyone so chosen of God is going to know when they are resisting God’s will as their hearts will be condemning them and the chastisement of the Father will bring them back in line. But this is a topic for another post or two.  But make no mistake,  the work of salvation and the giving of new hearts to men are all wonderful gifts from the Father.  This is how the power over sin is given to us.

Col 2:11 In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ:

We see this message to the elect of God repeated throughout the Scriptures and this warning not to be deceived by the vanity of man’s religion.  We truly are called out to be separate from this world.

Eph 5:5-7  For this you know, that no fornicator, unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God. 6 Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience. 7 Therefore do not be partakers with them.

The fact is, it is very hard, actually impossible for a man to enter the kingdom God.  The only way it happens if and when God decides to do it.  Salvation is always the work of the Lord and it comes by this precious gift of faith.  Consider what Jesus said here about entering the kingdom of God.

Matthew 19:23-26  Then Jesus said to His disciples, “Assuredly, I say to you that it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven. 24 And again I say to you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.” 25 When His disciples heard it, they were greatly astonished, saying, “Who then can be saved?” 26 But Jesus looked at them and said to them, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

God will save all men in the end.  All men shall enter into the kingdom in the end.  The gates of Spiritual Jerusalem shall never be shut the Scriptures declare.  A man with worldly riches does have a harder time entering in because their mind is focused on earthly things and protecting what they have in its natural carnal state.  But the power of an almighty God is much greater than man and when God drags even a rich man,  that man shall come to and enter the kingdom.

Isaiah 60:11 Therefore your gates shall be open continually; They shall not be shut day or night, that men may bring to you the wealth of the Gentiles

The proud of heart do not receive this grace of God.  Only the humble receive it.  The Pharisees, the most religious folks known,  even today,  do not enter into the kingdom of God and they prevent others from entering in.  But God is more powerful and since it is never about man’s choosing,   Jesus continues to build His church and save all that the Father has given to Him.

Matthew 21:31  Which of the two did the will of his father?” They said to Him, “The first.” Jesus said to them, “Assuredly, I say to you that tax collectors and harlots enter the kingdom of God before you.

Jesus likened entering into the kingdom with being like a little child in receiving the gift of faith.  Little children are not proud,  they are just happy to get a gift from God and this is the way all that are awakened to true righteousness shall understand this gift of faith.  It is only by this gift that they have entered in and this understanding will destroy the pride of flesh and the wisdom of the carnal mind.

Mark 10:15 Assuredly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will by no means enter it.
Luke 18:17 Assuredly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will by no means enter it.

While everyone seems to understand that we must be Born Again to enter into the kingdom, most that say this do not understand this is all of the work of God and His imparting of precious gifts and power.  Nicodemus, a very wise man in the Scriptures certainly did not understand this and they are many just like him today professing to be wise that are really fools.

John 3:5 Jesus answered, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.

Of course we see earlier that unless one is Born Again they cannot even SEE the kingdom of God much less enter into it.  Dead people don’t decide or have the power to raise themselves to eternal life and enter the kingdom.  Spiritually blind people have no chance finding their way into the kingdom of God.  They are blind!  All that come will be dragged by God in the appointed time.  No exceptions and we know only the elect of God will come in this life.  These are the few chosen among the many called.

John 6:44 No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me DRAGS (draws)  him; and I will raise him up at the last day.

Jesus goes on to tell us in the very next verse what all the elect know.  All true revelation is given only by the Lord.  He is our teacher and we learn from Jesus as given to us by the Father God.  God will use men to preach and teach this gospel but the responsibility to open eyes to see it and ears to hear it is all the work of the Sovereign Lord.

John 6:45  It is written in the prophets, ‘And they shall all be taught by God’.

It is indeed a long journey in the wilderness before one can cross the Jordan river and enter into the land that is in Christ Jesus.  God has a special journey for all of His elect to go through many trials and tribulations to bring us to the point of the door that is in Christ.  I have many such stories to share and to testify but these are all unique to me in my walk and my journey.   But I praise God as I know all the saints do for putting these tribulations on us.

Acts 14:22We must through many tribulations enter the kingdom of God.

Lastly I want to speak to some passages of Scripture that have perplexed me for some time but now I understand them fully.  I had shared some of this on my blog with other carnal minded believers about these verses.  I will only show the one but it is repeated in each of the synoptic gospels.

Mark 9:1 And He said to them, “Assuredly, I say to you that there are some standing here who will not taste death till they see the kingdom of God present with POWER.”

This was Jesus telling the assembled disciples, that some of them would not physically die (taste death) until they saw the kingdom of God present with power.  What Jesus was speaking about was their spiritual rebirth, being Born Again and raised in newness of life with the power of God dwelling inside of them.  This is only given to a blessed few and I am now a partaker of this blessing and have seen this kingdom come, thy will be done on this earth and in my heart.  That is a true healing.  As a recent post spoke about,  I have been given power and boldness to speak these truths.  I also know that no devil can touch me and the devils that are in many people will run and hide when they see me coming.  I know this sound boastful but I simply speak the truth in power as a mere man raised by the power of God.

Such power will be used to bring glory to God and to heal those spiritually that are in need of healing.  This will happen in God’s appointed times and I am looking forward to serving Him with a humble heart and fulfilling the calling placed upon me.  Knowing I am not alone in this prized possession brings great comfort and I will pray for the edification of this Body of Christ.  Peter spoke of those who had entered into the kingdom of God by faith.  What great words spoken to God’s very elect.

2 Peter 1:3-5  His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, 4 by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

I believe in Jesus and the power of God.  The fervent effective prayer of a righteousness man avails itself much.  I need to learn to pray more fervently as I know God will hear and answer based on what Jesus has spoken.

John 14: 14 If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.

God truly is a living God.  He lives thru Christ.  Christ is risen and lives in those whom the Father has given to Him.    I know that one day all of men will come to this place of understanding and receive the special blessing promised to our father Abraham.  When this blessing does come,  behold all things will be changed and made new.  Those chosen only have this promise in partial down payment form,  so what we have to look forward to is beyond our comprehension, but know that it is good,  very good.  This is the kingdom of God that lives in our hearts.  May you all come to enter in and partake in this blessing.

John 14:19-21 Because I live, you will live also. 20 At that day you will know that I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you. 21 He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.”

Have you entered into this kingdom?  Seek this kingdom and the righteousness of Christ and God in His time will pull you into this glorious blessing by His gift of faith.  If you have been chosen,  He will draw you and you will seek Him.  This is God’s salvation.  It is all of the Lord and it is wonderful.

Revelation 21:5  The One who sat on the throne said, `Look, I make all things new.’ And he said, `Write this, because these words can be trusted. they are true.’

Count on it.  Believe it.  This is the gospel of Jesus Christ.
