God of the Living not of the Dead

God of the Living not of the Dead

We, as servants of Christ, are led to write to our scattered spiritual family and fellow sojourners.  Our desire is to encourage all to continue in the things we have learned and what we have heard through many hardships and to not lose our crown of righteousness. Having now being made a pillar in the Temple of the Lord, we stand steadfastly in full assurance of the realization of the promises [rewards, Rev 2-3] through the Gospel.

Rom 1:4  And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead:

All men are born spiritually dead and it is only through Truth and grace which came with Christ, that we are being made alive and are now being seated with Christ and our fellow saints in heaven. The Lord’s people are the children of the resurrection, who were once dead [without God and Christ] but now have been raised up through the precious gift of faith, the faith of Christ [as He is, so are we 1 John 4:17].

Eph 2:5  Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)

Eph 2:6  And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus

Our land has now been married to Christ and we now rest in Him, no longer partaking of the back and forth carnal reasonings [meat] that holds all men in bondage to Satan, of their father, the devil, who is a murderer from the beginning [John 8:44].

Heb 2:14  Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;

Heb 2:15  And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.

Heb 2:16  For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham.

Before faith came and before our conversion takes place, all prior works are dead works, thus our deliverance from sin and overcoming were not being made manifest. Yet when faith IS come, the true work of God is being done by those made faithful by the hand of the Lord.

Jas 2:20  But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?

The true work of God is this:

Joh 6:28  Then they said to Him, “What shall we do, that we may work   the works of God?”

Joh 6:29  Jesus answered and said to them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent.”

Those given this precious faith, now partake of the living Bread and have obtained age-abiding life; which is to know and abide in Christ [Joh 17:3]. Henceforth the Lord promises we shall never die.

Joh 11:25  Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live.

Joh 6:50  This is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die.

Joh 6:51  I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.

God is a living God through the Son. Those being conformed into His image are likewise living and thus also alive in the Spirit. Coming to see this truth is far bigger than we once knew when we were bound by the law of sin and death in our members and not yet converted. Jesus spoke of things that are not yet as if they were when answering Peter and the Sadducees who did not understand what a living God and being alive to Christ meant.

Mat 16:16  And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.

Mat 16:17  And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.

Mat 22:31  But concerning the resurrection of the dead, have you not read what was spoken to you by God, saying,

Mat 22:32  ‘I AM THE GOD OF ABRAHAM, THE GOD OF ISAAC, AND THE GOD OF JACOB’? God is not the God of the dead, but of the living.”

When Christ comes into His people for salvation, He gives us His Spirit that brings the fire that henceforth purges His Temple and guides those ordained to be faithful before the foundation of the world.

2Co 6:16  And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

Rom 8:14  For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

Despite our claims to believe in Him [Joh 8:30], the Lord is not the Lord of those who walk according to the flesh doing the works of the flesh [Gal 5:19-21] which exemplifies those that are dead and not alive to Christ.

In every generation, a carnally minded Israel remains spiritually dead and God is not their God as they continue to do the deeds of their father the devil.  Before faith comes, all abide in unbelief to the Gospel who claim to be wise but remain reprobate walking as fools [Romans chapter 1] and worshipping the creation rather than the Creator.

Joh 8:43  Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word.

Joh 8:44  Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

Joh 8:45  And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.

Those bound by the carnal law of sin and death, follow after strange gods [idols of the heart] who are no gods at all in corrupting the Gospel and twisting the Lord’s commandments to their own destruction. This is how flesh seeks to keep itself alive all the while claiming the Name of Christ. We remain dead in our sins and trespasses, pursuing the error of Balaam and twice plucked up by the roots. The living God is only the God of those who are led by His Spirit who have come out of the bondage to the law that binds them in spiritual death.

Rom 8:6  For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

Rom 8:7  Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.

Rom 8:8  So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.

Rom 8:9  But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

When one abides in spiritual death, they are not alive unto Christ. All men at this stage of deception are hypocrites, scribes, Pharisees and Sadducees that oppose Christ and who teach and follow man’s reasoning [carnal doctrines] rather than obeying His clear commandments.

Mat 15:7  Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying,

Mat 15:8  This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.

Mat 15:9  But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

We can look behind ourselves and see how great an escape the Lord has provided.

2Th 2:9  The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders,

2Th 2:10  and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

2Th 2:11  And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie,

The Lord uses the Sadducees in every generation, who remain bound to the law of the gentiles [accusing and excusing, Rom 2:15] and who deny His resurrection, saying it is past; to teach us that He is the God of the living and not of the dead. Sadducees are devoid of faith, who holds the Truth in unrighteousness as it is this day. They come to Christ in every age, being the spirit of anti-Christ, denying the Lord who has bought them with a price. They know the Truth but deny it by their works. This is us in our times and seasons.

Mat 22:23  The same day came to him the Sadducees, which say that there is no resurrection, and asked him,

Mat 22:24  Saying, Master, Moses said, If a man die, having no children, his brother shall marry his wife, and raise up seed unto his brother.

Mat 22:25  Now there were with us seven brethren: and the first, when he had married a wife, deceased, and, having no issue, left his wife unto his brother:

Mat 22:26  Likewise the second also, and the third, unto the seventh.

Mat 22:27  And last of all the woman died also.

Mat 22:28  Therefore in the resurrection whose wife shall she be of the seven? for they all had her.

Christ rebukes the Sadducees for their denying the power of God. Sadducees symbolize those who trust in their own reasoning and deny the power of God which is the resurrection of the dead [to bring Christ up again] to a lively hope in His people.

Mat 22:29  Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.

Those not knowing the power [Christ] of God, do not know the Lord and are not alive to Christ and His Christ. Such is the state of all those who claim His Name that have not faith.

1Jn 4:2  By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God,

1Jn 4:3  and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world.

1Jn 4:4  You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.

1Jn 4:5  They are of the world. Therefore they speak as of the world, and the world hears them.

1Jn 4:6  We are of God. He who knows God hears us; he who is not of God does not hear us. By this we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error.

Those in faith are married to Christ and no longer know any man after the flesh [2 Cor 5:16]. There are no male or female, bond or free, in the risen Body of Christ; but all are One in Christ through the Spirit who have been made free in our Day of the Lord.  Those with the faith of Christ are the true descendants of Abraham, the true Jews of the seed of Isaac, whose seed are blessed.

Mat 22:30  For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven.

Mat 22:31  But as touching the resurrection of the dead, have ye not read that which was spoken unto you by God, saying,

Mat 22:32  I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? God is not the God of the dead, but of the living.

There is only one seed that brings forth the righteousness of Christ and that is faith.

Gal 3:16  Now to Abraham and his Seed were the promises made. He does not say, “And to seeds,” as of many, but as of one, “AND TO YOUR SEED,” who is Christ.

We are first baptized with water and not with fire [Spirit] and at this time,  continue to live in pleasure being led by various lusts, full of dead men’s bones. We are dead while we live, all part of fulfilling the Scriptures [living by every word of God, Luk 4:4]. At this stage, we are without the Law of Liberty [Christ] and remain dead in our sins.

1Ti 5:6  But she that liveth in pleasure is dead while she liveth.

Mat 23:27  “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like whitewashed tombs which indeed appear beautiful outwardly, but inside are full of dead men’s bones and all uncleanness.

Mat 23:28  Even so you also outwardly appear righteous to men, but inside you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness.

Rising above death [being carnally minded under the law] only comes when Christ comes to us a second time without sin.

Heb 9:27  And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment,

Heb 9:28  so Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many. To those who eagerly wait for Him He will appear a second time, apart from sin, for salvation.

Whatever is not of faith is sin [lawlessness] and it is sin that is the sting of being carnally minded where victory and overcoming remain elusive. Victory does not come until faith is come and Christ, the morning star, rises within our hearts. Then we are released from the law of sin and death and are being made alive with the Lord through the White Throne Judgement, the Lord bringing the reward.

Rom 6:7  For he that is dead is freed from sin.

Rom 6:8  Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him:

When the Lord comes our works will be revealed by the light that is also the fire which is burning out all the wood, hay and stubble that represents our carnal reasonings.

1Co 3:11  For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

1Co 3:12  Now if anyone builds on this foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw,

1Co 3:13  each one’s work will become clear; for the Day will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire; and the fire will test each one’s work, of what sort it is.

1Co 3:14  If anyone’s work which he has built on it endures, he will receive a reward.

1Co 3:15  If anyone’s work is burned, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire.

The living are never found among the dead. They are separated [being made holy, set-apart] through faith, the faith of Christ, doing the will of the Father, who sent Him. It is the great gulf fixed that no man can cross unless it is given unto them. Thus, the parables of the cross and the resurrection tells of this mystery to those given ears to hear and eyes to see.

Luk 24:5  And as they were afraid, and bowed down their faces to the earth, they said unto them, Why seek ye the living among the dead?

Those alive to Christ come out from among the spiritually dead and after they have been crucified, separate themselves from those that walk after the flesh who are still bound to the law for the lawless.

1Pe 1:13  Therefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and rest your hope fully upon the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;

1Pe 1:14  as obedient children, not conforming yourselves to the former lusts, as in your ignorance;

1Pe 1:15  but as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct,

1Pe 1:16  because it is written, “BE HOLY, FOR I AM HOLY.”

Those that die to death [their carnal mind] die to the Lord and are the same as those that live to the Lord.

Rom 14:8  For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord’s.

Rom 14:9  For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living.

We are redeemed with the precious blood of the Lamb, without spot and wrinkle. The Lord is the Lord of all when all things are put under His feet.

1Co 15:25  For He must reign till He has put all enemies under His feet.

1Co 15:26  The last enemy that will be destroyed is death.

1Co 15:27  For “HE HAS PUT ALL THINGS UNDER HIS FEET.” But when He says “all things are put under Him,it is evident that He who put all things under Him is excepted.

1Co 15:28  Now when all things are made subject to Him, then the Son Himself will also be subject to Him who put all things under Him, that God may be all in all.

Our spiritual enemies within and without ourselves are those that are bound to the law of carnal reasoning and walk therein. Such remain separated from Christ and His righteousness. These are the men [lies] that oppress us and merchandise rewards and gain, so flesh can reign supreme. The one does it for reward and the other for a bribe [immediate gratification].  We are to earnestly contend for the faith against those that pursue such folly and turn God’s grace into lasciviousness.

Jud 1:10  But these speak evil of whatever they do not know; and whatever they know naturally, like brute beasts, in these things they corrupt themselves.

Jud 1:11  Woe to them! For they have gone in the way of Cain, have run greedily in the error of Balaam for profit, and perished in the rebellion of Korah.

Jud 1:12  These are spots in your love feasts, while they feast with you without fear, serving only themselves. They are clouds without water, carried about by the winds; late autumn trees without fruit, twice dead, pulled up by the roots;

Jud 1:13  raging waves of the sea, foaming up their own shame; wandering stars for whom is reserved the blackness of darkness forever.

Having already escaped the corruption, which is the world’s way of thinking, we need to be vigilant to guard our gates against the Sadducee’s spirit who knows to do right but suppress the truth. Wresting judgment away is the gall and vinegar or root of bitterness offered by those who crucified Christ and His Christ. Christ as our example, rejects and does not drink the gall but instead dies to the world.

Mat 27:34  They gave him vinegar to drink mingled with gall: and when he had tasted thereof, he would not drink.

Those who seek to save their carnal lives will lose it and not enter into the Kingdom of God where the living are found. When we partake of the world’s meat, we suppress the Truth of Christ’s commands, and drink spiritual gall and will not find the rest from our own carnal works. David prays the Lord to put those enemies and mindset within him under the feet of Christ.

Psa 69:21  They gave me also gall for my meat; and in my thirst they gave me vinegar to drink.

Psa 69:22  Let their table become a snare before them: and that which should have been for their welfare, let it become a trap.

Psa 69:23  Let their eyes be darkened, that they see not; and make their loins continually to shake.

Psa 69:28  Let them be blotted out of the book of the living, and not be written with the righteous.

The battle with these carnal enemies and the law is all over the Psalms.

Psa 56:11  In God have I put my trust [not the reasonings of men, their flesh – Phi 3:3]: I will not be afraid what man can do unto me.

Psa 56:12  Thy vows are upon me, O God: I will render praises unto thee.

Psa 56:13  For thou hast delivered my soul from death: wilt not thou deliver my feet from falling, that I may walk before God in the light of the living?

We enter the land of the living [draw near to Jerusalem above] when we are released by Christ from the prison that is Mystery Babylon [Rev 17:5], yoked with the yoke of hypocrisy. Being released from this harlot that binds us to the earth is the same as being called up hither into the heavenly realm. This is where the faithful saints who become the righteous compass about the throne being one Spirit with the Lord. This is our inheritance in the saints.

Psa 142:5  I cried unto thee, O LORD: I said, Thou art my refuge and my portion in the land of the living.

Psa 142:6  Attend unto my cry; for I am brought very low: deliver me from my persecutors; for they are stronger than I.

Psa 142:7  Bring my soul out of prison, that I may praise thy name: the righteous shall compass me about; for thou shalt deal bountifully with me.

1Co 6:16  Or do you not know that he who is joined to a harlot is one body with her? For “THE TWO,” He says, “SHALL BECOME ONE FLESH.”

1Co 6:17  But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him.

Our own righteousness and reasonings of right and wrong are filthy rags to Christ. The only righteousness that counts is His Righteousness that comes only through the gift of faith, the faith of Christ. Giving up our lives, dying daily is what conforms us into the Lord’s death and enables us to attain to the resurrection to the living.

Php 3:9  And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:

Php 3:10  That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;

Php 3:11  If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.

It takes Christ’s blood within us, our dying to death and forsaking all we have, to have spiritual death and carnality purged from our minds. Then we enter into His rest and serve the Lord in power, the Spirit of Glory resting upon us as unworthy servants.

Heb 9:14  How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

Col 1:24  I now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up in my flesh what is lacking in the afflictions of Christ, for the sake of His body, which is the church,

Col 1:25  of which I became a minister according to the stewardship from God which was given to me for you, to fulfill the word of God,

Col 1:26  the mystery which has been hidden from ages and from generations, but now has been revealed to His saints.

Col 1:27  To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

While we wait for the Lord to finish His sanctifying work, as the pillars in His Temple, we guard and keep our gates, being made holy, guarding the way of the tree of Life [Christ]. Knowledge [speaking in angel tongues] and pursuit of riches [spiritual drunkenness] is passing away and as the faithful, we now seek the things of the Spirit [doing His pleasure] and rest in the Lord and wait for Him, to finish what He has begun in us.

Eph 5:14  Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.

Eph 5:15  See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,

Eph 5:16  Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.

Being raised to life, we seek heavenly things and not those things on the earth.

Col 3:1  If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God.

Col 3:2  Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth.

Col 3:3  For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.

Grace be with you. Amen!

Preaching Foolishness

Context:  This note is a message I sent to a Babylonian Minister of a large orthodox Christian church.  This man is genuinely a nice man as men go, but of course we know that no one is good, no one not even one!  The pastor of the church I once attended let me know he was all up to talk about his sermons and any issues I have with them .  His sheep will not follow the voice of a stranger.

It is by the foolishness of such preaching that the few chosen will hear the words of truth and be set free from the bondage of Babylon.  A brother in Christ suggested I share this as it may well edify a lost sheep the Lord may bring to this website seeking the truth in the Scriptures.

Dear B______________

I listened to your sermon last Sunday online as I am most curious to know the things my wife is listening to so I as her God ordained head may teach her the truth the Lord willing.  My motivation is the love of God with this being clearly and succinctly defined for us what the love of God is.

1Jn 5:3  For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous

And the commandments of the Lord include to come out of Babylon and to separate from the world and this is especially true for those that bring other doctrines than the doctrines of Jesus Christ.

2Jn 1:9  Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.

2Jn 1:10  If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:

2Jn 1:11  For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.

Wow, this seems so harsh and unloving to the carnal mind.  Yet keeping our doctrine pure and un-defiled is a very big deal for the church of Jesus Christ.  There is a real reason why the Lord has us to do this but we must take very seriously all false doctrines and not allow any such leaven to enter into our spiritual houses and fellowship.  It is FLESH and the wisdom of men that have put tolerance and agreeing to disagree above the doctrines of Christ.

2Co 6:14  Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

2Co 6:15  And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?

2Co 6:16  And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

2Co 6:17  Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,

Those that bring this “fornication”, the mixing of flesh and spirit, the mixing of worldly wisdom with the words of God are to be put out of our fellowship if we are God’s Elect.  The way truly is narrow and few there be shall find it.  Accommodating fornication be it physical or spiritual is not love, it is deception.   Here is Paul showing us how to love people by obeying the commandments of God.

1Co 5:4  In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when ye are gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ,

1Co 5:5  To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.

1Co 5:6  Your glorying is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump?

1Co 5:7  Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:

This has been a long build up here but I want you, GOD WILLING, to understand and to see just how serious it is to know and to teach only sound doctrine.

1Ti 4:16  Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee.

1Jn 4:1  Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

We must know the doctrine of Christ and make sure we do not corrupt it.  Yet that is the very thing Babylon does, it takes the things of God, the true valuables which are the doctrines, the very gold, the truth and cankers it with fleshly and demonic wisdom.

Jas 5:3  Your gold and silver is cankered; and the rust of them shall be a witness against you, and shall eat your flesh as it were fire. Ye have heaped treasure together for the last days.

Where the gold and silver is cankered and corrupted by the carnal doctrines of men, God’s Elect should get far away as it it will only lead us into compromise yet the road is very narrow.

Rom 16:17  Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them

I am hoping  B________ that maybe God has prepared your heart for the truth and opened your ears of understanding.  My ears were opened by hearing from someone the world would disdain and think not could possibly be an angel of God.  But that is how God works, He chooses the foolish things of this world to confound the wisdom of wise men who walk after the flesh.

1Co 1:27  But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;

The OT is not a history lesson

It will blow your mind when you are given eyes to see this.  Now I hope the Lord will open your ears to consider some of the things you preached on Sunday.  While it is a great idea to study the prophets, we must keep some fundamental truts in mind as we read anything in the Old Testament.  Those things include these things:

1.  All the OT is an ensample, a spiritual lesson for God’s very elect today

1Co 10:1 Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the AGE (not world) are come.

Those outside the given covenant of faith will not understand any of this, the entire book will be sealed.  When their fear of god is based on man’s traditions, then the book will not be understood.  They will stumble and stagger in spiritual darkness and this is all the Lord’s doing.

Isa 29:9  Stay yourselves, and wonder; cry ye out, and cry: they are drunken, but not with wine; they stagger, but not with strong drink.

Isa 29:10  For the LORD hath poured out upon you the spirit of deep sleep, and hath closed your eyes: the prophets and your rulers, the seers hath he covered.  (The Lord puts the multitudes into spiritual darkness)

Isa 29:11  And the vision of all is become unto you as the words of a book that is sealed, which men deliver to one that is learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I cannot; for it is sealed:

Isa 29:12  And the book is delivered to him that is not learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I am not learned.

Isa 29:13  Wherefore the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honour me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men:

The carnal doctrines of men teach eternal torment which is a fear of the Lord based on the precepts of men and is the opposite of the truth.  Anyone teaching or believing the fear of God based on this precept has a sealed book for which they will have no understanding.

The Old Testament is a shadow of the truth.  As a shadow it is not the whole truth but points to the true light.  We must take the whole council, the sum of thy word to know the truth that will set us free.

2.  Man must live by every word God has spoken and that includes all the things written in the bible

Luk 4:4  And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.

1Co 3:21  Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are yours;

1Co 3:22  Whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come; all are yours;

The characters in the Old Testament and the stories and ensamples they portray are words that each of us will live by in our appointed times.  We cannot add to or take away from the sum of God’s word. All things are ours and we will live them.  What blessing to the one who understand this immutable spiritual truth.

3.  The OT was not written for the people that lived then, it is not given to us as a history lesson

1Pe 1:10  Of which salvation the prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you:

1Pe 1:11  Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow.

1Pe 1:12  Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into.

We are yet carnal when we approach these words as a history lesson and apply them to someone else, i.e. the flesh jews who lived back then.  Those words of the prophets were written for God’s very Elect upon whom the ends of the carnal age has now come.

4.  Christ speaks in parables and so it is with and thru His prophets

Hos 12:10  I have also spoken by the prophets, and I have multiplied visions, and used similitudes, by the ministry of the prophets.

The Bible does not mean what is says, it means what it means.  That meaning is hidden from carnal eyes and ears and is only GIVEN to the few that God has chosen to give it to.  Christ spoke in parables to HIDE the meaning, so it is to this very day and these words of God have not passed away.

Mat 13:10  And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables?

Mat 13:11  He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.

Mat 13:12  For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath.

Mat 13:13  Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.

Here is who will believe, who will have the ears to hear and the eyes to see.

Rom 11:7  What then? Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded

Rom 11:8  (According as it is written, God hath given them the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear;) unto this day.

1Co 2:7  But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:

You spoke last Sunday about God loving wicked people.

That is very true B________God does love wicked people and one day all will have been given the faith to know that even this Proverb is true and that God purposefully has made people wicked.

Pro 16:4  The LORD hath made all things for himself: yea, even the wicked for the day of evil.

This refers to all men, you and me and everybody that has ever been born into a marred vessel of clay.  This is all part of God’s plan spelled out in the Scriptures for those give ears to hear and eyes to see the truth.  And that is not very many, it is indeed very few.  But this is all God’s plan, He makes us stray from His ways.  Yet the carnal man will think this truth is foolishness and they will not be able to understand it despite clear Scripture.

Isa 63:17  O LORD, why hast thou (YOU GOD) made us to err from thy ways, and hardened our heart from thy fear? Return for thy servants’ sake, the tribes of thine inheritance.

Rom 8:20  For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope,

Rom 8:21  Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.

Who is doing all of this?  Who is the cause behind these erring from His ways?  It is God doing it all.  He is the Potter and we are the clay.  Many will recite those verses but yet deny Christ daily by claiming He nor God are causing ALL THINGS to happen.  These doing this denying are at best mere carnal babes in Christ, it simply has not been given to them to see the plain truth in Scripture.

Rom 9:15  For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.

Rom 9:16  So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.

Rom 9:17  For the scripture saith unto Pharaoh, Even for this same purpose have I raised thee up, that I might shew my power in thee, and that my name might be declared throughout all the earth.

Rom 9:18  Therefore hath he mercy on whom he will have mercy, and whom he will he hardeneth.

IT IS NOT HIM WHO WILLS.  IT IS NOT MANs DELUSION OF A FREE WILL, it is God who shows mercy.  Amazing how stubborn flesh is to the clear truth of God’s word.  The rest of this chapter answers the carnal question we all then ask.  Which is why does God then still find fault.  God does it all, there is no YOU anywhere in the new covenant.  Go read Ezekiel 36 and you will see it is all I WILL SAYS THE LORD.   Look at all the I will’s and the absence of you will’s.

Eze 36:23  And I will sanctify my great name, which was profaned among the heathen, which ye have profaned in the midst of them; and the heathen shall know that I am the LORD, saith the Lord GOD, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes.

Eze 36:24  For I will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries, and will bring you into your own land.

Eze 36:25  Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.

Eze 36:26  A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.

Eze 36:27  And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.

Eze 36:28  And ye shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and ye shall be my people, and I will be your God.

Eze 36:29  I will also save you from all your uncleannesses: and I will call for the corn, and will increase it, and lay no famine upon you.

Eze 36:30  And I will multiply the fruit of the tree, and the increase of the field, that ye shall receive no more reproach of famine among the heathen.

The Scriptures are true and as Jonah 2:9 says,   SALVATION IS OF THE LORD.    I hope you will begin to see that man has no role in salvation whatsoever.  It is 100% of the Lord.  We don’t even choose to have faith, that is given to us and is given to only a very few in this life in the flesh.  (John 6:44, John 6:65, etc)  Oh it is a mystery B_______, one that makes perfect sense once we are given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God.  They are given to such a very few all of which serves God’s purposes.

1Co 2:6  Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought:

1Co 2:7  But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:

1Co 2:8  Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.

1Co 2:9  But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

1Co 2:10  But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.

The carnal mind cannot comprehend the truth, the true things of God are indeed foolishness to the wisdom of men.  Hence all the doctrines and beliefs of orthodox Christianity, all of them, are devoid of any truth.

Isa 3:1  For, behold, the Lord, the LORD of hosts, doth take away from Jerusalem and from Judah the stay and the staff, the whole stay of bread, and the whole stay of water,

If the Lord ordains to happen, we will sit down and review doctrine, the core beliefs and positions of orthodox Christianity.  I have come to see that Isaiah 3:1 is true and there is not a single doctrine, not even one, which I learned in a church that is true.  All was leavened and pointed to another jesus.

God Is Not Dependent Upon Man

You also spoke Sunday and speak often as if the will of Almighty God depends upon the actions of man.  Such is not the case B______, that is the wisdom of men and is indeed another gospel and a false jesus.  You quoted Psalm 139 today.  I am not sure you really got the significance of verse 12 that both darkness and light are the same to God.

Psa 139:12  Yea, the darkness hideth not from thee; but the night shineth as the day: the darkness and the light are both alike to thee.

Isa 45:7  I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.

Psa 139:8  If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there.

We are clay in His hands.  If we are deceived it is the Lord’s doing.  If we are walking in truth, it is the Lord’s doing.  ALL THINGS ARE OF GOD and I am sure you know the many Scriptures that state that.  BELIEVE THEM.

He is working all things for the counsel of His will and depends not upon any man to bring about what He has already declared for each of us.  I wish you had read on to verse 16.

Psa 139:16  Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.

Yep, even this verse is true but the carnal mind will always deny it and limit God.  Our entire lives, what we will do has already been written.  That is an all powerful God that the carnal mind cannot understand or believe unless and until we are given the gift of faith.

Isa 46:9  Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me,

Isa 46:10  Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:

The end has been declared from the beginning.  God’s counsel shall stand and it matters not what a piece of clay thinks or does.  And His counsel and pleasure is to save all men and that is exactly what He will do.  But very few are GIVEN to believe the report of Isaiah.

All that we do, think or say is given to us by God.  He is the potter and we are the clay.  But you do not believe that B______.  Your idea of sovereignty is that God does not have a boss but that lots of things happen outside of God’s causing them to happen.  In your theology, God is at the mercy of nature, the devil and even the actions and thoughts of His own creation.  Utter and complete hogwash, the epitome of unbelief.

You cited this verse in your sermon today and this is a good segue to make a point and God willing set you on the path of truth.

Psa 37:23  The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way.

Do you see that word “good” in that verse?  That word was added by carnal translators, the word “good” is not in the Scriptures it was added by men to support their false doctrines.  God is not just working all the good things B_____, He is working them all!

Isa 45:6  That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me. I am the LORD, and there is none else. Isa 45:7  I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.

Eph 1:11  In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:

Rom 11:36  For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen.

It was incredible.  You mentioned the recent flooding in Colorado and then denied the Lord Jesus by claiming God is not causing all things and is at the whim of Mother Nature.  B_______, God is causing all things, even evil things and calamities.  There are zero exceptions.

Amo 3:6  Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?

God allows nothing.  He causes all things. He even works evil for good.

Gen 50:20  But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive.

When you make such statements and hesitate to give God the credit and the glory for all things that happen, including calamities, sickness and disease, you are preaching another gospel and are yet carnal.  You are then preaching unbelief in the one true God and feeding the carnal mind of men who will then need to fear things that God is not causing.  There is nothing God is not doing and directly causing to happen.  You name it, the Scriptures and the sum of thy word is truth, tells us it is from God.

Deu 32:39  See now that I, even I, am he, and there is no god with me: I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal: neither is there any that can deliver out of my hand.

You mentioned last week that Satan causes division.  No he does not.  God is doing it, Satan is merely a servant of God, doing exactly what the Lord commands him to do.

Luk 12:51  Suppose ye that I am come to give peace on earth? I tell you, Nay; but rather division:

Mat 10:34  Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.

Mat 10:35  For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.

Mat 10:36  And a man’s foes shall be they of his own household.

Who brings division?  Who sets people at variance with others?  It is God thru the Lord.  This is who Satan is and how he came into being.

Job 26:13  By his spirit he hath garnished the heavens; his hand hath formed the crooked serpent.

Isa 54:16  Behold, I have created the smith that bloweth the coals in the fire, and that bringeth forth an instrument for his work; and I have created the waster to destroy.

I won’t get into it here but that doctrine we all hear in churches about Satan being an angel kicked out of heaven is a lie.  You can believe the false teachings of men and the traditions of orthodox Christianity or you can simply if granted the faith, believe the Lord and His words. Christ said Satan was a murderer from the beginning, he was created for that very purpose.  I do hope you will consider what I am telling you and go and test the doctrine and the spirits I am conveying.  By two or three witnesses shall ever matter be established and all that I have shared herewith has multiple confirming witnesses and create no conflicts with the true doctrines of Christ.

You said something else that was simply false.  You said that “judgment does not transform us”.  Oh yes it does B_______.  In fact judgment is the process by which we are saved.  Salvation means going thru the judgment of God and enduring the wrath of God against our old man and the lust of our flesh.  That is the very mystery, the strange ACT it is called by which Christ is formed in us and salvation comes to Zion.  Judgment is the way of salvation and it begins at the house of God, His chosen few, the very elect.  The rest will be judged later at the second resurrection.

1Pe 4:17  For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?

Rev 15:8  And the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God, and from his power; and no man was able to enter into the temple, till the seven plagues of the seven angels were fulfilled.

Isa 1:27  Zion shall be redeemed with judgment, and her converts with righteousness.

Exo 6:6  Wherefore say unto the children of Israel, I am the LORD, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will rid you out of their bondage, and I will redeem you with a stretched out arm, and with great judgments:

This is the mystery B________that FEW are given to see and to understand.  Salvation comes only by coming thru the judgment of God.  Any doctrine that speaks to a rapture or avoiding God’s judgment against our old man and our sins, is a different gospel.  Christ did not die in our place, He died so He could then die with us and that is how salvation comes, we are crucified with Christ.  That is the meaning of the law of offerings in Leviticus in type and shadow.

Judgment is the only way we will learn true righteousness.  Every other way, the ways taught in all the orthodox churches and all the seminaries is a lie built upon a mixture of God’s word in the flesh with the ways of this world.

Isa 26:9  With my soul have I desired thee in the night; yea, with my spirit within me will I seek thee early: for when thy judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness.

But we must come to know what the earth is and what is being spoken about in the parables and symbols of Scripture.

Jer 22:29  O earth, earth, earth, hear the word of the LORD.

Until we are given ears to hear by Christ, our judgment has not begun and are still in Babylon even though we claim to be His.

You spoke often of God’s mercy yet with the next breadth would deny that with you doctrine of hell and eternal punishment.  The hell doctrine you teach and believe is not merciful it is a damn lie B__________.  Believing such is a guarantee to remain in bondage as a prisoner in Babylon and be able learning but never able to come to knowledge of the truth.

There is no double standard B________. God wants us to be just like Him and that is why we are told to always forgive.  Mercy indeed is forever and one you are given to believe the true gospel and understand God’s purposes and ways, then you will believe this verse which your sermons show you do not believe.

Luk 6:35  But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil.

Luk 6:36  Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful.

The Lord is faithful even when we are not.  You spoke of that also and that was your take away from the entire book of Isaiah.  Yet B______ you deny that statement when you believe and teach in anything but the salvation of all men.  The Lord said His mercy will endure forever and it will.  You are speaking with a forked tongue when you speak like this and we all do it, so I am not judging you but merely showing you the truth in love.  Someone has to show us the truth that has walked the road before us.

Rev 19:10  And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.

You were and are right about one thing.  Jonah is representative of you and me.  You see one of the mysteries of God is just that and Christ said it, more than once.

Mat 4:4  But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

Every word.  We will all live every word but in the order and sequences ordained of God.  That is a big all-powerful God who has declared all of that already and will bring it to pass.  But I hope you will begin to see and know that the Word of God is spirit and the flesh profits it NOTHING.

Joh 6:63  It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

The message in Scripture is that we will live by every word. There are only two people that matter, the two witnesses, and we are both of them.   We are those people in Scripture.  We are Cain and Abel.  We are King Saul and David.  We are a false witness and then we are a true witness but all happens in the times appointed by God before the world was formed.

Jonah is just one of many that we will live and experiences.  So all men, beginning with God’s Elect will first resist going to Nineveh and preaching the TRUE DOCTRINES of Christ.  We will run from that but God has ordained a life for us and ultimately our trials in the sea (symbol for the flesh) will lead us to a point where we will cry out to God for repentance will shall be granted.  Then we will go to Nineveh and the symbolic cities and nations within us to preach the word of god into the four corners of the earth.  But we will need to learn where the kingdom of God is and what is this earth the prophets and Christ spoke about?

Luk 17:20  And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:

Luk 17:21  Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.

If God has prepared your heart and opened your ears then I would love to share more with you.  I have learned to not even think above what is written and my ONLY source is the Bible, the very sum of His word is truth.  Anything else is a lie.

Psa 119:160 The sum of Your word is truth (not some of the word is truth)

1Co 4:6  And these things, brethren, I have in a figure transferred to myself and to Apollos for your sakes; that ye might learn in us not to think above that which is written, that no one of you be puffed up for one against another.

I will end this here.  I hope the Lord will open your eyes of understanding and allow you to begin to grow in the true knowledge of God.  To start we have to drink milk which includes knowing and believing in the salvation of all men.

1Pe 2:2  As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:

If we cannot even see that, then we have no chance of coming to the knowledge of the truth.  We must move on beyond the milk but that is where we all must start as babes.  I would be happy to share with you this milk and show it to you in the Scriptures and show you where carnal man has screwed up (as God ordained) to twist his word to support this damnable lie of eternal hell.  But I also have learned how few God has ordained to come to knowledge of the truth and how few hearts have been prepared and ears opened to hear the truth.

Psa 10:17  LORD, thou hast heard the desire of the humble: thou wilt prepare their heart, thou wilt cause thine ear to hear:

It is all in the Lord’s hands.  He needs nothing from you or me.  He is directing all our steps and giving us both every word we shall speak.

Jer 10:23  O LORD, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps.

Pro 16:1  The preparations of the heart in man, and the answer of the tongue, is from the LORD.

Pro 20:24  Man’s goings are of the LORD; how can a man then understand his own way?

A disciple of Christ who knows what a wretched man he is,
