Christ and “His Christ” in the OT Shadows

Christ and “His Christ” in the OT Shadows

(Compiled from prior church teachings and studies)

Heb 10:1  For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect.

 Introduction

There are three offerings in the Law of the Offerings which reveal “the Lord and His Christ”. The scapegoat sin offering, the second bird sin offering in the sacrifice for leprosy and the male sacrifice for the rulers of the people; these offerings in the OT are all types/SHADOWS of Christ and “His Christ” and the two-fold work being done through them.

Christ tells us that He IS SENDING us “As My Father hath sent me”, but what does that mean? Here are a few of the things which Christ’s Father sent Him to accomplish, and these are a few of the things which Christ is sending us to accomplish:

Joh 20:21 Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent meeven so send I you.

1) Christ tells us that He is “the Light of the world”. Likewise, He is sending us to be “the Light of the world”.

Joh 8:12 Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

Mat 5:14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hid.

Mat 5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

2) Christ tells us that He was sent to be “the Bread of life”.

Joh 6:35 And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.

Joh 6:48 I am that bread of life.

Joh 6:51 I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eats of this bread, he shall live forever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.

1Co 10:17 For we being many are one bread, and one body, for we are all partakers of that one bread.

3) Christ tells us that He has the water of Life:

Joh 4:10 Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.

We, too, as the Lord’s anointed and Christ have the same “Living water”.

Joh 7:38 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.

In Christ those who are IN Him are “1) the light of the world, 2) the bread of life, and 3) they have the water of life. This all being so, we see that Christ identifies Himself with us. We are being destined to inherit the Kingdom of God before the foundation of the world.

Mat 25:31  When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:

Mat 25:32  And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:

Mat 25:33  And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.

Mat 25:34  Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:

The Father has sent Christ to accomplishes and save the world THROUGH Him.

Joh 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

If the Father sent Christ to be the Savior of the world, and if our Savior has sent us “even as [His] Father has sent [Him]”, is Christ not sending us to be Saviors?

Oba 1:21 And saviours shall come up on mount Zion to judge the mount of Esau; and the kingdom shall be the LORD’S.

Christ’s died and for Him it is finished whilst in the clay, we are to “present our bodies as living sacrifices”, we are “dying daily” and count ourselves as being “crucified with Him”. He was given faith in full measure and we are being given faith in down payment form. He gave His life and we die daily.

Rom 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

Gal 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless, I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

So, we see many similarities between Christ and His wife, the Church of the Living God.

In this study, we are looking at the two-fold work of Christ and His Bride, the Church. God, the Father, has given ancient Israel, which signifies spiritual Israel, three sacrifices which are types and shadows of this two- phase work of Christ and “His Christ” being accomplished in our lives today.

A) The first Offering which reveals this two- phase work of the “Lord and His Christ” is the offering of the goat and the scapegoat:

Lev 16:5  And he [Aaron the high priest, a type for God’s Elect] shall take of the congregation of the children of Israel two kids of the goats for a sin offering, and one ram for a burnt offering.

Lev 16:6  And Aaron shall offer his bullock of the sin offering, which is for himself, and make an atonement for himself, and for his house.

Lev 16:7  And he shall take the two goats, and present them before the LORD at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.

Lev 16:8  And Aaron shall cast lots upon the two goats; one lot for the LORD, and the other lot for the scapegoat.

Lev 16:9  And Aaron shall bring the goat upon which the LORD’S lot fell, and offer him for a sin offering.

Lev 16:10  But the goat, on which the lot fell to be the scapegoat, shall be presented alive before the LORD, to make an atonement with him, and to let him go for a scapegoat into the wilderness.

By God’s design, “Israel” is NOT cleansed by the blood of the first goat alone. It requires the work of BOTH goats “to make an atonement” for the sins of the people. Are we told that we are to consider ourselves to be part of the sin offering which is made for the sins of the people?

Heb 13:10 We have an altar, whereof they have no right to eat which serve the tabernacle.

Heb 13:11 For the bodies of those beasts, whose blood is brought into the sanctuary by the high priest for sin, are burned without the camp.

Heb 13:12 Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate.

Heb 13:13 Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach.

“Bearing His reproach” is what the scapegoat, the OT type of “our Lord’s Christ”, do TODAY:

Lev 16:18  And he shall go out unto the altar that is before the LORD, and make an atonement for it; and shall take of the blood of the bullock, and of the blood of the goat, and put it upon the horns of the altar round about.

Lev 16:19  And he shall sprinkle of the blood upon it with his finger seven times, and cleanse it, and hallow it from the uncleanness of the children of Israel.

Lev 16:20  And when he hath made an end of reconciling the holy place, and the tabernacle of the congregation, and the altar, he shall bring the live goat:

Lev 16:21  And Aaron shall lay both his hands upon the head of the live goat, and confess over him all the iniquities of the children of Israel, and all their transgressions in all their sins, putting them upon the head of the goat, and shall send him away by the hand of a fit man into the wilderness:

Lev 16:22  And the goat shall bear upon him all their iniquities unto a land not inhabited: and he shall let go the goat in the wilderness.

“The hand of a fit man” refers to Christ Himself, living WITHIN “His Christ” “who are symbolized by the goat whose body is offered as “a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God.” As His elect, we are, at this moment, BEING “led by the hand of a fit man into the wilderness” that is this world.

Joh 17:15  I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.

Joh 17:16  They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.

Joh 17:17  Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.

Joh 17:18  As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world.

“As … the goat [on which] the Lord’s lot” fell, died for the sins of the people, “even so” is the “living sacrifice” (Rom 12:1), “crucified with Christ, nevertheless … liv[ing] … [as] Christ in [us] … filling up the sufferings that are behind of the afflictions of the Christ [of Christ]”.

Rom 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice [the scapegoat], holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

Rom 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Gal 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless, I live [as the scapegoat]; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

Col 1:24 Who now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up that which is behind of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh for his body’s sake, which is the church:

Why are we called the light of the world, the bread of life, and why are we being given the water of life? Why are we “being crucified with Christ”, why are we “filling up in our bodies the afflictions of the Christ”? And the answer is, “As [Christ’s] Father … sent Him, even so [Christ] IS SENDING us [to] fill up His afflictions in our bodies” for the same reason Christ suffered His afflictions, and for the same reason Christ Father sent Him. That reason is “for His Body’s sake, which is the Church”. Our stripes and afflictions are for the same purpose as His, “because as He is, so are we in this world” (1 John 4:17).

God, the Father, from “before the world began”, intended that the LIVING scapegoat ALSO be an integral part of “the atonement for the people”.

 B) The Offering of the two birds for the healing of the Leper:

Lev 14:1  And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

Lev 14:2  This shall be the law of the leper in the day of his cleansing: He shall be brought unto the priest:

Lev 14:3  And the priest shall go forth out of the camp; and the priest shall look, and, behold, if the plague of leprosy be healed in the leper;

Lev 14:4  Then shall the priest command to take for him that is to be cleansed two birds alive and clean, and cedar wood, and scarlet, and hyssop:

Lev 14:5  And the priest shall command that one of the birds be killed in an earthen vessel over running water:

Lev 14:6  As for the living bird, he shall take it, and the cedar wood, and the scarlet, and the hyssop, and shall dip them and the living bird in the blood of the bird that was killed over the running water:

Lev 14:7  And he shall sprinkle upon him that is to be cleansed from the leprosy seven times, and shall pronounce him clean, and shall let the living bird loose into the open field.

Again, just as the scapegoat is being released by a fit man into the wilderness, this live bird is being released by the priest “into the open field”, which is another symbol for the world into which we all are born and in which we all live. We have this interpretation of the meaning of “the field” in Scripture:

Mat 13:38 The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;

The sacrifice for the healing of leprosy is not one, but two doves, and just as with the two goats, one bird is sacrificed to the Lord, and the other is kept ALIVE and is being released into the open field.

Let us notice again how this is all commanded to be accomplished:

Lev 14:5  And the priest shall command that one of the birds be killed in an earthen vessel over running water:

Lev 14:6  As for the living bird, he shall take it, and the cedar wood, and the scarlet, and the hyssop, and shall dip them and the living bird in the blood of the bird that was killed over the running water:

Lev 14:7  And he shall sprinkle upon him that is to be cleansed from the leprosy seven times, and shall pronounce him clean, and shall let the living bird loose into the open field.

“Cedar wood, scarlet, and hyssop are all symbols of the pains and afflictions, “which are behind of the afflictions of the Christ”.

Joh 19:29 Now there was set a vessel full of vinegar: and they filled a spunge with vinegar, and put it upon hyssop, and put it to his mouth.

Heb 9:19 For when Moses had spoken every precept to all the people according to the law, he took the blood of calves and of goats, with water, and scarlet wool, and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book, and all the people,

The requirements for the cleansing of “all the people” and the cleansing of the leper are the same. But in the offering of the cleansing of the leper, we find that there are two birds which are both required to be a part of this offering, before the leper can be pronounced clean. The first bird is to be killed “in an earthen vessel over running water”. We are clearly told that this “earthen vessel” is the physical body of sinful flesh and blood into which all in Adam are being born, including the Lord Himself:

Heb 2:14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;

2Co 4:7 But we have this treasure [Being Christ’s Christ’s] in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.

The “running water” is the type of the Word and the Words of Christ, which “are Spirit” and which are being found in the mouths and hearts of all who are ABIDING in Christ.

Joh 6:63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

Joh 7:38 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.

Flowing waters are “running waters”, and those running waters are a type and shadow of the Life that is in the Word of God. This bird which is set free in the field has the Spirit of Christ WITHIN and that bird as well as the cedar wood, scarlet and hyssop, have all been dipped in the blood of the first bird “in an earthen vessel over running water”. But these two birds constitute ONE sacrifice. “Take for him that is to be cleansed two birds” … (Lev 14:4).

This second live bird is as expedient to the cleansing of this leper as the first bird, for they are ONE sacrifice for the cleansing of the leper.

1Jn 4:17 Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.

This bird is another type of the second phase of the work of Christ, and it too, represents US, as we are filling up in ourselves the afflictions of “The Christ” as it is symbolized by the cedar wood, scarlet and hyssop, which are all dipped in the blood of the first bird. Christ and His Bride cannot be separated.

c) The third and final sacrifice which is the symbol of this two- phase work of the Lord and His Christ, is shown in the Offering for the sins of the ruler and the sins of the common people:

Lev 4:22  When a ruler hath sinned, and done somewhat through ignorance against any of the commandments of the LORD his God concerning things which should not be done, and is guilty;

Lev 4:23  Or if his sin, wherein he hath sinned, come to his knowledge; he shall bring his offering, a kid of the goats, a male without blemish:

Lev 4:24  And he shall lay his hand upon the head of the goat, and kill it in the place where they kill the burnt offering before the LORD: it is a sin offering.

This sacrifice for “a ruler” must be “a kid of the goats, a MALE without blemish … it is a sin offering”. But notice that God wants to distinguish “a ruler” in this sin offering from the sin offering which is to be offered for “one of the common people”.

Lev 4:27  And if any one of the common people sin through ignorance, while he doeth somewhat against any of the commandments of the LORD concerning things which ought not to be done, and be guilty;

Lev 4:28  Or if his sin, which he hath sinned, come to his knowledge: then he shall bring his offering, a kid of the goats, a female without blemish, for his sin which he hath sinned.

Lev 4:29  And he shall lay his hand upon the head of the sin offering, and slay the sin offering in the place of the burnt offering.

This offering is for sins of “one of the common people”. It is to be a FEMALE goat, while the offering for the ruler is to be a MALE goat. Who in scripture is called “a ruler”? We will see that those who are called rulers are those who are called “The Christ of Christ”, and “a ruler” is always to be distinguished from “one of the common people” who are to be ruled over by the overcomers. The spiritual man always rules over the natural man.

Gen 41:40  Thou [Joseph, a type of “the Christ”] shalt be over my house, and according unto thy word shall all my people be ruled: only in the throne will I be greater than thou.

Gen 41:43  And he made him to ride in the second chariot which he had; and they cried before him, Bow the knee: and he made him ruler over all the land of Egypt.

Mat 24:45  Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?

Mat 24:46  Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.

Mat 24:47  Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.

The Lord is preparing for Himself a nation of kings and priests, a peculiar nation.

1Pe 2:9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:

We are granted not only to believe on Christ but to also suffer with Him and “fill up the things lacking of the tribulations of “The Christ”, in our flesh (Php 1:29).

“The Christ of Christ” are the overcomers who “endure to the end” …. thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.

Another example/symbol of the ruler whose offering must be of a male goat, is found in Rev 12. We see a woman who brings forth a man child who is to rule the nations with a rod of iron:

Rev 12:5 And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.

The emphasis is on OVERCOMING because grace and Truth is coming with Christ and “His Christ”.

Joh 1:17 For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.

Rev 12:17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

Summary:

This “man child, who is ruling the nations with a rod of iron” is the same as “he that overcometh [who is also promised to] rule the nations with a rod of iron”. This “man child” is another symbol for “the Christ of Christ”. It is this man child who Christ is sending forth as His Father has sent Him, to save the world by being the scapegoat, which “scapegoat” is an integral part of a sin offering, but is “a LIVING sacrifice”.

This “man child” is also the second bird which as an integral part of the sacrifice of the lepers in Israel, and he IS again the “living sacrifice” part of that sin offering, and is released into “the open field” to accomplish his part in filling up the afflictions of the Christ in his body for Christ’s Body’s sake, which is the Church.

And finally, the male kid of the goats is the sacrifice for those who are to rule, and this sacrifice is distinguished from that of “the common people” of Israel, as the type of “Him that overcometh”, our Lord’s Christ, who is promised to be a RULER over the nations of this world WITHIN and without at the appointed time.

Rom 8:18  For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

Rom 8:19  For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.  [“Our Lord and His Christ”].

Rev 11:15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.

The Lord is not complete without His wife; His wife is not complete without Him and those in whom He dwells and together, Christ and “His Christ”, accomplish the work which was ordained before the foundation of the world. What an incredible calling to be part of this journey!

Eph 1:22  And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,

Eph 1:23  Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.

I Will Set a Plumbline in the Midst

Key Verses:  Amos 7:7 – 7:9

We continue in this study with the third of the five visions Amos is shown by the Lord regarding the judgment of Israel.  This is the process the Lord has ordained for all men to come to knowledge of the Truth, via many tribulations and which is also bringing salvation from sin in the appointed time for all (1Co 15:21, Gen 18:10). The Lord is showing us His works in these visions which comes first to the house of God which is also known as the church. The earth encompasses the seas and all the land and spiritually speaking what we are seeing is the Lord establishing dominion on earth as it is in our heaven.

Isa 52:10 The LORD hath made bare his holy arm in the eyes of all the nations; and all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of our God.

Mat 28:18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, all power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

Here is the vision of the plumbline and our three verses for today.

Amo 7:7 Thus he shewed me: and, behold, the Lord stood upon a wall made by a plumbline, with a plumbline in his hand.

Amo 7:8 And the LORD said unto me, Amos, what seest thou? And I said, A plumbline. Then said the Lord, Behold, I will set a plumbline in the midst of my people Israel: I will not again pass by them any more:

Amo 7:9 And the high places of Isaac shall be desolate, and the sanctuaries of Israel shall be laid waste; and I will rise against the house of Jeroboam with the sword.

We know these are all spiritual statements and the vision is not a literal event and the understanding here must come by comparing spiritual to spiritual (1Co 2:13).

Joh 6:63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

Just as the book of Revelation is signified (Rev 1:1) via symbols, so are the words of Amos as are all the words spoken by the prophets of the Lord.

Hos 12:10 I have also spoken by the prophets, and I have multiplied visions, and used similitudes, by the ministry of the prophets.

All three of the symbols, the wall, the plumbline and the Lord’s hand represent Jesus Christ who created all things and is by whom ALL THINGS consists.  Our carnal minds often forget just how expansive is the Lord in the affairs of mankind and the world.

Col 1:17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

Joh 1:3 All things were made by him; and without him was not anything made that was made.

Joh 1:4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

What is the plumbline?

Being “plumb” is a construction term that refers to being straight up and down. A plumbline is an ancient method of measuring the straightness of a wall. It has a string with a weight on the end that uses gravity hang straight down which the builders then follow. In the modern era, levels have replaced plumb lines in constructing walls that are level.

The Hebrew word “anak” is only found in these verses of Amos and according to Strong’s probably comes from an unused root meaning narrow.

H594, ‘ănâk, an-awk’

Probably from an unused root meaning to be narrow; according to most a plumb line, and to others a hook

This is all very interesting because we know the way is indeed narrow, the gate is straight by which the kingdom of God is entered.

Mat 7:13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:

Mat 7:14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

The setting of the plumbline in Israel will in its appointed time accomplish all the Lord’s purposes and making the walls straight and bring down the pride of life.  It is the weight of the Scriptures and the express commandments of God that become the measuring line of righteousness in our day of the Lord.

Heb 12:13 And make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way; but let it rather be healed.

1Jn 3:7 Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.

When we are measured against the plumbline, our hidden sins are being manifested along with lies and false doctrines.

Isa 28:17 Judgment also will I lay to the line, and righteousness to the plummet: and the hail shall sweep away the refuge of lies, and the waters shall overflow the hiding place.

The New Testament version of the Plumbline is the reed like unto a rod that is also a measuring device and is likened unto a rod.

Rev 11:1 And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein.

A rod connotes discipline and authority in the Scriptures and that is exactly what the loving Lord is doing for His children in our day of judgment.

Heb 12:6 For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.

Pro 13:24 He that spareth his rod hateth his son: but he that loveth him chasteneth him betimes (with the rod)

When a nation is ruled by a rod (plumbline), this is what is quickly learned.

Heb 10:26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,

Heb 10:27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.

This is what mankind is learning when they are constantly measured by the plumbline or ruled by a rod of iron.

Ecc 12:13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man

It is only after we begin to have dominion over sin and our struggles against the man of sin and the lies of the harlot are “finished” that we become the golden reed in the Lord’s hands that are used to bring others into Holy City and reveal Jesus Christ to them.

Rev 21:15 And he that talked with me had a golden reed to measure the city, and the gates thereof, and the wall thereof.

What is the wall the Lord is standing on?

Amos sees The Lord standing upon a wall that is said to be “made” by a plumbline that the Lord has in His hand.  The Lord is building the House of Israel and the vision of Him on the wall with the plumbline is a testimony to building of the church of God which is the same as the House of Israel. The church is built by putting the Lord’s enemies under His feet.

Mat 22:44 The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool?

The Lord is standing on/upon/against the wall that the rebellious and idolatrous King Jeroboam has built in his heart and mind. This is our experience as we are this idolatrous king who have built a wall that provides us peace not yet knowing it is a false peace. Our pride has blinded us to the truth of our spiritual condition and the wall built with the wrong ingredients and tools is going to be torn down so a new one can be built instead.

Pro 18:11 The rich man’s wealth is his strong city, and as an high wall in his own conceit

Eze 13:14 So will I break down the wall that ye have daubed with untempered morter, and bring it down to the ground, so that the foundation thereof shall be discovered, and it shall fall, and ye shall be consumed in the midst thereof: and ye shall know that I am the LORD.

The plumbline and wall vision is a vision of judgment.   The Lord is against this wall and it will fall just as the walls of Jericho (Jos 6:20) and Babylon “is, was and will be” falling in our appointed times.  The wall of Babylon is the first wall made of the mixed multitude within us (untampered mortar) which are the lies and unbelief we cling to claiming to follow the Lord.

Lam 2:8 The LORD hath purposed to destroy the wall of the daughter of Zion: he hath stretched out a line, he hath not withdrawn his hand from destroying: therefore he made the rampart and the wall to lament; they languished together.

The Lord is discovering our foundation in our day of judgment and as we saw last week, our secret sins are being revealed in light of the Sun. The day of the Lord is revealing our work and what we have built upon the foundation Christ has laid within us.

1Co 3:13 Every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is.

1Co 3:14 If any man’s work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.

1Co 3:15 If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.

Walls separate and divide what is on either side of the wall and so it is also true in the spiritual (Rom 1:20).  These divisions are both needed for defense/safety as well as preventing escape both reasons the Lord comes to bring division and build walls.

Luk 12:51 Suppose ye that I am come to give peace on earth? I tell you, Nay; but rather division:

2Co 6:17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,

The wall built by the works of our carnal mind is being destroyed so it can be rebuilt.

Mar 14:58 We heard him say, I will destroy this temple that is made with hands, and within three days I will build another made without hands.

1Co 3:17 If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.

When the plumbline is set, the commandments go forth and the wall is built again.

Dan 9:25 Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.

The Holy City of Spiritual Jerusalem is another symbol for the Body of Christ and His Christ that are defined with a wall that was great and high.

Rev 21:12 And had a wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel:

Standing on the walls of the House of God is standing on truth and believing on the Lord.  Contending for the truth is a daily battle we must fight within ourselves and without ourselves in this evil world.  We are the watchman that are on the walls and look after and care for the sheep within and without ourselves by protecting the House of God from evil.

Isa 62:6 I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, which shall never hold their peace day nor night: ye that make mention of the LORD, keep not silence,

Isa 62:7 And give him no rest, till he establish, and till he make Jerusalem a praise in the earth.

We as the Lord’s angels (messengers) are the ones stirred up by the Lord that are gathered together in Jerusalem to build city and using the Lord’s instruments of judgment.

Ezr 9:9 For we were bondmen; yet our God hath not forsaken us in our bondage, but hath extended mercy unto us in the sight of the kings of Persia, to give us a reviving, to set up the house of our God, and to repair the desolations thereof, and to give us a wall in Judah and in Jerusalem

With the wall repaired, we can find true peace and enter into the rest promised.

What is His hand?

Christ is the Word (Joh 1:1) and is the plumbline and the wall as we have seen.  It should not be a surprise therefore to come to see that Christ is also the hand.  It is through the Christ, His Body that the greater works get done (Joh 14;12).  The Body is the hands, feet, of the Lord and the flesh in which He is already come.

Eph 5:30 For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.

It is the Elect who will be the saviours of the world and bring each other into the truth and reveal Jesus Christ and pour out the vials of wrath (Oba 1:21, Rev 19:10).  The redeemed of the Lord are redeemed by the arms, hands and the body of Christ.

Isa 63:4 For the day of vengeance is in mine heart, and the year of my redeemed is come.

Isa 63:5 And I looked, and there was none to help; and I wondered that there was none to uphold: therefore mine own arm brought salvation unto me; and my fury, it upheld me.

It is the word that is judging us as we hear the commandments and are measured against the plumbline that is Christ.

Mat 3:12 Whose (winnowing) fan is in his hand, and he will thoroughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.

Exo 23:20 Behold, I send an Angel before thee, to keep thee in the way, and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared.

Psa 19:4 Their (plumb) line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun,

It is the Elect of God, being judged now, that are used of the Lord to save others and speak the words of fire in building the church of Jesus Christ. We are the Lord’s Body and as the judges of Israel, we are His Hand that is holding the plumbline and doing the measuring.  We measure ourselves (examine ourselves) but also are used to bring judgment to our brethren.

Mat 19:28 And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

1Co 11:31 For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged.

1Co 11:32 But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world.

The plumbline aka the rod of the Lord is going to establish the Lord’s power over all the nations within us now and in the outward nations at the first resurrection and start of the Millennium Reign.  The planting of the plumbline within us is the beginning of our living the Millennium Reign inwardly as our nations are rules with a rod.

Rev 2:26 And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations:
Rev 2:27 And he (through His Christ) shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father.

The Lord Will Not Pass by Again

“Not passing by Israel again” after the plumbline is set, is a promise that the Lord’s strange act (Isa 28:21) will not fail.  Salvation is assured, once the word is planted.  The Lord will bring it to pass and our patience is waiting on Him to perform it.   Such is the torment and suffering to which we, those that believe on Jesus Christ are appointed (Phi 1:29, Rev 14:10)

Isa 55:11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

Php 1:6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:

The work of the word of the Lord is tearing down our idols and destroying the temple of the self-righteous religious beast as a jealous God executes vengeance for His temple.

Amo 7:9 And the high places of Isaac shall be desolate, and the sanctuaries of Israel shall be laid waste; and I will rise against the house of Jeroboam with the sword.

The killing of the old man by the sword of the Lord is a good thing.  It is required for the rebuilding of the temple and repairing the breaches and broken down walls.

Amo 9:10 All the sinners of my people shall die by the sword, which say, The evil shall not overtake nor prevent us.

Amo 9:11 In that day will I raise up the tabernacle of David that is fallen, and close up the breaches thereof; and I will raise up his ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old:

The setting of the plumbline is another way is the coming of Christ and He comes to bring peace but that only comes about after a great war is fought in heaven and the earth.

Mat 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.

Rev 12:7 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,

The plumbline is placed within us and in the midst of Israel.  It is here where the Lord sits and wages this war against our man of sin and the beast.

Mic 1:3 For, behold, the LORD cometh forth out of his place, and will come down, and tread upon the high places of the earth.

Jesus Christ and His Christ are taken up to these high places and this is where we are tempted with the riches of world and the pride of life.

Luk 4:5  And the devil, taking him up into an high mountain, shewed unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time.

Luk 4:6  And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it.

Luk 4:7  If thou therefore wilt worship me, all shall be thine.

In the day of the Lord those high places will be laid waste as the words of Christ, the weapons of our warfare destroy the idols of our man of sin as we overcome more and more.

2Co 10:4 For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;

2Co 10:5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

The “was” of this prophecy was fulfilled by Shallum, who conspired against Zachariah the son of Jeroboam, and slew him, and reigned in his stead, which put an end to the family of Jeroboam (2Ki 15:7-11).  Yet none of these prophecies are history lessons (1Co 10:11), these words of the Lord from Amos are “is, was and will be” and not just was.  They apply to us and not just the ancient King Jeroboam.  Like Jeroboam, we will reap what we sow and every evil deed will be dealt a recompense in due time.  Prophecies of doom to our wicked ways will come to pass and by this judgment we shall be saved.

Ecc 8:11 Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil.

We are living out the “is” in our day of judgment when the plumbline is set in our midst. These words are spoken to King Jeroboam who was the king of the Northern Kingdom of Israel.  Jeroboam #2 is you and me (all things are ours) in our appointed time.  Like Jeroboam we are used of the Lord for good, winning some key battles, yet we are making idols and worshipping them which is not of faith and causes us (Israel) to sin.  The man of sin must die.

2Ki 14:24 And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD: he departed not from all the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel to sin.

2Ki 14:27 And the LORD said not that he would blot out the name of Israel from under heaven: but he saved them by the hand of Jeroboam the son of Joash.

The high places appeal to our flesh and the pride of man.  The devil knows this and we are constantly tempted to serve Satan and create high places which are stumbling blocks of sin in our hearts. The truth the world cannot see much less accept is that the Lord is working these sins (Isa 63:17) and creating these idols so we can be brought back to the Lord with a repented heart

Eze 14:4 Therefore speak unto them, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Every man of the house of Israel that setteth up his idols in his heart, and putteth the stumblingblock of his iniquity before his face, and cometh to the prophet; I the LORD will answer him that cometh according to the multitude of his idols;

Eze 14:5 That I may take the house of Israel in their own heart, because they are all estranged from me through their idols.

Eze 14:6 Therefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Repent, and turn yourselves from your idols; and turn away your faces from all your abominations.

Our flesh and man of sin does not like these words of Amos.  Flesh wants to live and does not like being made to give an account according to the narrow way of the plumbline.  Our rebellious old man will seek to destroy the one measuring and highlighted our crooked paths and the high places that exalt themselves against the Lord.  This will be the focus of our next installment as Amos is put under duress and persecuted for speaking the word of God and prophesying against the high places of Israel. Amos is told to go away and prophesy not these harsh things to Jeroboam and the people of Israel.

Amo 7:10 Then Amaziah the priest of Bethel sent to Jeroboam king of Israel, saying, Amos hath conspired against thee in the midst of the house of Israel: the land is not able to bear all his words.

Body of Christ, Elect

Meeting Christ In The Clouds

Divine LightJoh 14:20 At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me (My Body), and I in you.

If Christ is not in us and we in Him, we are none of His.

I was led to write this post after communicating with someone who has the basic truth down (i.e. the salvation of all men) but has not yet been given to move beyond that and on to maturity and come to understand the deeper truths of God’s word. We are to receive the babes in Christ that have an elementary level of faith and understanding but we are not to allow them to dispute established church doctrines with us whether they can receive it or not.  That is what Romans 14 is all about.

Rom 14:1 Him that is weak in the faith receive ye, but not to doubtful disputations.

Being a babe depends not on how long one has been a Christian, it is all about the measures of faith that one is given by the Lord.  The pride of man and the lie of free will object to being called a babe but those that are matured will learn not to argue such truths with the babes.  A babe who continues to attack sound doctrine is to be considered a heretic but that is another lesson in the truth.

Tit 3:9 But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain.
Tit 3:10 A man that is an heretick after the first and second admonition reject;

The failure, or in all actuality, THE INABILITY to understand God’s plan and purpose for His Body (the body of Christ) is a big stumbling-block that the vast majority of Christians, even those wandering in the wilderness outside of orthodoxy; cannot get beyond. My hope is a few that are led to read this post may be encouraged and come into understanding of who the Body of Christ is and they must be connected to have any part of the Lord’s inheritance. The inheritance of the Lord is His saints and that is the prayer all in the Body of Christ have for one another.

Eph 1:17 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:
Eph 1:18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance IN the saints,

Those that still cling to their personal and “private revelations” from the Lord and have no need for a body are not in the Body of Christ and do not yet know the truth or can heed the many admonishments such as this one.

1Co 12:12 For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is (THE) Christ.
1Co 12:13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.
1Co 12:14 For the body is not one member, but many.
1Co 12:15 If the foot shall say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?
1Co 12:16 And if the ear shall say, Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?
1Co 12:17 If the whole body were an eye, where were the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where were the smelling?
1Co 12:18 But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased him. (HE CHOOSES US, we do not choose Him – John 15:16)
1Co 12:19 And if they were all one member, where were the body?
1Co 12:20 But now are they many members, yet but one body.
1Co 12:21 And the eye cannot say unto the hand, I have no need of thee: nor again the head to the feet, I have no need of you.

The Oneness of the Body of Christ

One is either a part of the living organism that is Christ or they are not. Those in this Body will be of one mind and there will be NO SCHISMS and arguments over what is the truth. The Body will be of ONE MIND.

Php 2:2 Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.

1Co 12:25 That there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another.

2Co 13:11 Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you.

We have many lessons and Scriptures that tell us how to deal with heretics and be watchman over the flock of God and this is what the Elect do to keep themselves unspotted by the world and not defiled by the harlots of Babylon with their false doctrines.

Lone wolves have NO PLACE in the body of Christ.  Such ones are not “in me” as Christ spoke in John 14:20 at the top of this post. Those given over to this idol of their heart, don’t need a body. To them the Lord is working with them one on one; but that is all a carnal lie that deceives many people who take some of God’s word to the exclusion of many others to make their false doctrines (bread). Here is one such Scripture they don’t care much for.

Eph 4:11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;  (WHY DID GOD DO IT THIS WAY… we don’t have to guess…)
Eph 4:12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:

Amazing however those that claim they hear from God but are not part of the Body of Christ.  As God promises, the things in the natural tell us how things work in the spiritual. The sheep that represent the flock of God gather together, yet wolves (those with false doctrines) run around separately in their own packs.

Mat 7:15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

The Lord gathers His sheep together and brings them to His mountain (Christ His Body) and there He feeds them and yes that includes being fed with JUDGMENT; being judged now by the fiery word we hear.

Eze 34:14 I will feed them in a good pasture, and upon the high mountains of Israel shall their fold be: there shall they lie in a good fold, and in a fat pasture shall they feed upon the mountains of Israel.
Eze 34:15 I will feed my flock, and I will cause them to lie down, saith the Lord GOD.
Eze 34:16 I will seek that which was lost, and bring again that which was driven away, and will bind up that which was broken, and will strengthen that which was sick: but I will destroy the fat and the strong; I will feed them with judgment.

Those that go it alone and don’t see a need for a body, a living organism and their need to be part of it, do not know “Christ” despite them having a few things right potentially. The Lord is not working with lone wolves, He is only working with the chosen few He is knitting together in love which means putting them thru many trials and afflictions. That is how He writes His laws on our hearts, thru the trials.

Heb 10:16This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;

The putting the laws on our spiritual hearts is done by the finger of God (we have nothing to do with it)

Col 2:11 In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ:

And this is actually how it is done, by the scourging of the old man and destruction of our carnal way of life.

1Pe 4:12 Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:
1Pe 4:13 But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ’s sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.

Christ Comes In the Clouds

The power of God is His word and that power was put into the Elect.  That is really one of the great macro truths of the story of Noah and the covenant God made to save ALL MEN in due time.

Gen_9:13  I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth.

and the day the Lord brings “His Cloud” over the earth (brings judgment to us in our appointed time); then He will remember His covenant to save all men.  In that day, every eye shall see Him in the cloud.

Gen 9:14  And it shall come to pass, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the bow shall be seen in the cloud:

The bow in the cloud is the power of God in His Elect and that power of course is HIS WORD.  Christ is already come in the flesh. “Christ” is already come into the clouds of witnesses that He ascended and where He has made His abode in the hearts and mind of the very Elect.  He has already returned the same way physical eyes saw Him leave.

Act 1:9 And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.
Act 1:10 And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel;
Act 1:11 Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so (Christ) come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.

Christ has gone nowhere and has been in this same cloud that received Him 2,000 years ago to this very day.

Heb 12:1 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,

The cloud that is Christ is in fact His Body, the body of Christ, the Elect who as this post will confirm are the vessels thru which the Lord does His work in this age and every generation of men. This cloud is a light of truth to those given ears to hear and eyes to see; but to everyone else this cloud is sheer darkness, sometimes called thick darkness or strong delusion in the Scriptures. The messengers of God are in fact these angels the witnesses thru whom the Lord works.

Exo 14:19 And the angel of God, which went before the camp of Israel, removed and went behind them; and the pillar of the cloud went from before their face, and stood behind them:
Exo 14:20 And it came between the camp of the Egyptians and the camp of Israel; and it was a cloud and darkness to them, but it gave light by night to these: so that the one came not near the other all the night.

This contrast is how the Lord separates His chosen few, the Elect from the world who is represented in type and shadow in this story by the Egyptians.

Ultimately Christ will be seen by EVERY EYE coming in the clouds of His Elect witnesses. This only awaits the day ordained by the Lord for each of us. But the word and this promise is true. One only must come to know and apply these words and prophecies as spirit first.

Rev 1:7 Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.

When the sons of God are revealed to the world, then this prophecy shall be fulfilled outwardly yet it is fulfilled inwardly in the hearts and minds of the Elect in this age.

Luk 21:27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.

“The Christ” is many things in Scriptures, the symbols and types are VERY MANY and include the clouds in addition to many others including angels, pillars, body of Christ, bride of Christ, mother of Jesus, priests, kings, firstfruits, prophets, etc etc. But to the natural “carnal” man, not yet given ears to hear and eyes to see, and only knowing Christ “in the flesh”, these truths will indeed been invisible to them; in fact they will be considered down right foolishness.

1Co 2:14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishnessunto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

The Purpose of Christ’s Parables

The article “THE” was not retained in many instances when English translators did their work. Yet in some cases it did get thru to make this concept of Christ much clearer, yet in Babylon they only know the other jesus in their fleshly carnal understanding and the cloud that is Christ today is in fact utter darkness to them to this very day.

Rom 11:7 What then? Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded
Rom 11:8 (According as it is written, God hath given them the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear;) unto this day.

When you see it written, unto this day,  it is a special emphasis that the Lord’s plan has not and will never change in this regard.  He is only revealing Himself to a few and is blinding everyone else.  That is His way.  The Lord is in the darkness to the carnally minded.

Exo 20:21 And the people stood afar off, and Moses drew near unto the thick darkness where God was.

Deu 4:11 And ye came near and stood under the mountain; and the mountain burned with fire unto the midst of heaven, with darkness, clouds, and thick darkness.

Jos 24:7 And when they cried unto the LORD, he put darkness between you and the Egyptians, and brought the sea upon them, and covered them; and your eyes have seen what I have done in Egypt: and ye dwelt in the wilderness a long season.

Psa 18:11 He made darkness his secret place; his pavilion round about him were dark waters and thick clouds of the skies.

2Ch 6:1 Then said Solomon, The LORD hath said that he would dwell in the thick darkness.

Which all of these simply affirms the same message that all that Christ spoke AND DID, was done in parables and those parables were done to blind the world on purpose.

Mat 13:9 Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.
Mat 13:10 And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables?
Mat 13:11 He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.
Mat 13:12 For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath.
Mat 13:13 Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.

It was not just the words, it was the events themselves….”all these things”…

Mar 4:11 And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables:

The truth is that the Lord must drag us to Himself and He causes our ears to hear His words, there is no free will involved despite what millions of false teachers, the blind leading the blind want to tell you.

Jer 18:1 The word which came to Jeremiah from the LORD, saying,
Jer 18:2 Arise, and go down to the potter’s house, and there I will cause thee to hear my words.

To the carnal mind, the truth that Christ has a Christ and that it is this body through which the Lord does His many great works is indeed foolishness. But if we are given the gift of faith and prepared to hear the words of the Lord, then we will be able to discern the truth and learn to walk only by faith and not by sight. Doing such requires us to heed these words.

1Co 4:6  And these things, brethren, I have in a figure transferred to myself and to Apollos for your sakes; that ye might learn in us not to think above that which is written, that no one of you be puffed up for one against another.

Not thinking above what is written requires one to embrace the SUM OF GODS WORD IS TRUTH principle. Taking some of God’s word and building doctrine around that is how one is kept in darkness believing lies and false doctrines, knowing another jesus, the one we all first know in the flesh before we know the real one.

2Co 5:16 Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more.

One either is or is not able to hear the truth and this has no relation to one’s own initiative or supposed free will.

Joh 10:27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:

Joh 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

If one does not hear His words, then one is not of God currently. And as blasphemous as it sounds to the natural man, that is exactly the test true disciples are given to apply to know who is of God and who is not.

1Jn 4:5 They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them.
1Jn 4:6 We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.

John sure was an elitist, who does he think he is!  That is how he would be responded to by the Babylonian churches of men today if he quoted the Scripture he was inspired to write.  And so it is for the Elect today.  Those in the Body know who is of God and who is not, it is pretty simple to quickly know who can hear what we speak and who cannot.

Joh 10:4 And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice.
Joh 10:5 And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers.

Knowing these basic truths on who can hear and see, as we mature in the body of Christ and walking in the fire, we won’t argue and debate the truth of God’s word with those God is still blinding. It sounds oh so unloving but this is a commandment that we not let such ones into our spiritual houses, doing so is doing evil.

2Jn 1:9 Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.
2Jn 1:10 If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:
2Jn 1:11 For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.

Anyone bringing false doctrines to us like eternal hell, free will of man, the Trinity, man born sinless, and millions of others is a wolf in sheep’s clothing, a false prophet that we are to not fellowship with or discuss the things of God.  If we do so, we are doing evil and are being disobedient.  We must learn to wait on the Lord to prepare one and bring us a sheep to feed and remember the Lord does not need us to do anything, salvation and all things are of God, even one’s ability to receive the truth.

So much for the false love of the apostate churches who love to say everyone welcome on their church signs, but they just do not know the commandments of God, they cannot hear His word yet. If we are God’s Elect we are to leave them be and wait for the Lord to drag His lost sheep to Himself which is HIS BODY.

Joh 6:65 And he said, Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father.

Doing the Greater Works

Christ told us that “we”, His Chosen Disciples, His Elect would do much greater works than He did. That is happening today although the entire world is oblivious to it.

Joh 14:12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
Joh 14:13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

Christ is inseparable from His Father who is God and is Spirit.  When Christ and His Father make their abode in us, then Christ is seated on the right hand of the Father in the heavens of our heart and mind.  We are His temple and this is where Christ sits today, dwelling in His people.

Joh 14:23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.

Of course doing these greater works only happens when we do it in Christ’s name. Doing things in Christ’s names has nothing to do with physically saying His name as those in Babylon believe, it has everything with doing it according to sound doctrine, the word which is Christ which is also His Body.

Joh 14:14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

And this promise is profound for those given the faith to hear His word and to actually believe it.

Christ Sends Out His Christ

A huge understanding that the world cannot perceive is God’s plan to first send Christ and then Christ to send His CHRIST  (the Body) to do His work. My last post spoke about the focus of that work and ministry to the lost sheep of Israel, code word for God’s Elect. Like our Lord who was sent only to the lost house of Israel, that is exactly to whom “Christ” (the Body) is sent.

Mat 10:5  These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not:
Mat 10:6  But go rather (only) to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

Click here to access the post on the LOST SHEEP OF ISRAEL.

As Christ father sent Him, so Christ sends His Christ. Coming to understand the plan of God is essential to have the pieces of truth fall into place and remove the lies of carnal reasoning. Here are some very prophetic words.

Joh 20:21  Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.

As Christ is and was sent, so are we if we are indeed His. We have another NT witness to the same.

1Jn 4:17  Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.

The Lord sends out HIS CHRIST in advance of where He comes.  So we are the preachers sent to speak the words of fire to ears prepared to hear the truth.  That is why we go and that is why we rejoice when just one lost sheep is returned to the fold.

Luk 10:1 After these things the Lord appointed other seventy also, and sent them two and two before his face into every city and place, whither he himself would come.
Luk 10:2 Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest.
Luk 10:3 Go your ways: behold, I send you forth as lambs among wolves.

We have many OT witnesses as well and these words from Isaiah 53 that speak of “Christ” and apply both to the “head” (the Lord) but also to “the body” (His Christ). The Lord is working ALL things, even bringing affliction, grief and rejection to His chosen servants. He came to save sinners and to turn them to repentance and He does just that by showing us who are old man truly is and then bringing judgment upon us.

Isa 53:10 Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand.
Isa 53:11 He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.
Isa 53:12 Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.

Ånd this is indeed the burden of “the Christ” to be the scapegoat in the wilderness, the offering for the trespasses of the people of God, the true church.

Col 1:24 Who now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up that which is behind of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh for his body’s sake, which is the church:

If Christ did it all on the cross 2,000 years ago, what is there to fill up on with regards to affliction? The fact is the substitutionary atonement is another lie of Babylon and unless we die in our due time, we too will not inherit the kingdom of God. This is way to big a topic to segue into here but Lord willing a future posts will be focused on that gigantic Babylonian lie.

Who is the light of the world?

Christ says He was the light of the world, but look at what He says about His Christ.

Joh 8:12  Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

Mat 5:14  Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.

Who are the judges of the world?

Joh 12:48 He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.

Christ said His words will judge the world. Yet we saw earlier who speaks His words. Well guess who will judge the world!

1Co 6:2 Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters?
1Co 6:3 Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?

Mat 19:28 And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

 Who speaks His word?

1Co 2:13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

Jer 5:14  Wherefore thus saith the LORD God of hosts, Because ye speak this word, behold, I will make my words in thy mouth fire, and this people wood, and it shall devour them.

Eze 2:7 And thou shalt speak my words unto them, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear: for they are most rebellious.
Eze 2:8 But thou, son of man, hear what I say unto thee; Be not thou rebellious like that rebellious house: open thy mouth, and eat that I give thee.

Isa 6:8 Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.
Isa 6:9 And he said, Go, and tell this people, Hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not.

Heb 1:7 And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire.

Rev 6:1 And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, (the words spoken) as it were the noise of thunder, (the word brings judgment) one of the four beasts saying, Come and see.

Christ speaks His word thru His Body of Christ. Those who hear us are of God and those who do not, are not currently of God as we saw earlier. Few will receive us, precious few but we rejoice in those days.

Luk 10:16 He that heareth you heareth me; and he that despiseth you despiseth me; and he that despiseth me despiseth him that sent me.

The body of Christ are the temple including the pillars to the temple and it is through them that all must pass to enter into Christ.  Here is this message foretold in the symbols of Scripture, the words that are Spirit.

Deu_31:15  And the LORD appeared in the tabernacle in a pillar of a cloud: and the pillar of the cloud stood over the door of the tabernacle.

And here in JOB we learn also of the mystery of the clouds that are THE CHRIST.  Think of how the natural foretells the deep truths of the spiritual (Romans 1:20). WOW.

Job 36:27  For he maketh small the drops of water: they pour down rain according to the vapour thereof:

Job 36:28  Which the clouds do drop and distil upon man abundantly. (The Elect speak His words….)

Job 36:29  Also can any understand the spreadings of the clouds, or the noise of his tabernacle?  (only those given ears to hear and eyes to see by the Lord Himself)

Job 36:30  Behold, he spreadeth his light upon it (The Elect are the light of this world) , and covereth the bottom of the sea.

Job 36:31  For by them judgeth he the people; he giveth meat in abundance.  (The Elect shall judge the world)

Job 36:32  With clouds he covereth the light; and commandeth it not to shine by the cloud that cometh betwixt.  (The Lord shuts the eyes of most, blinding the whole world and only reveals truth to the few)

What are the saviours of the world?

This will be a hard truth to swallow for those still immersed in the flesh jesus and Babylonian doctrines.  Yet the truth about who is Christ applies to every turn and every aspect of Christ and that includes who is the savior.  Our Lord and head Christ is the Savior (capital S) yet the Christ of Christ is also saviors of the world (Christ in them, the word working the greater works).  So say the Scriptures when we can see them on the other side of the veil of flesh.

Joh 1:29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.

Gal 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: (i.e. a lamb led to a slaughter) nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

Gen_22:8 And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both of them together.

Oba 1:21 And SAVIOURS shall come up on mount Zion to judge the mount of Esau; and the kingdom shall be the LORD’S.

Neh 9:27 Therefore thou deliveredst them into the hand of their enemies, who vexed them: and in the time of their trouble, when they cried unto thee, thou heardest them from heaven; and according to thy manifold mercies thou gavest them SAVIOURS who saved them out of the hand of their enemies.

The Lord sends His Christ to do His work.  This is how He brings it to pass and that is the mystery of what the Scriptures declare and it is indeed marvelous once you see it.

Those Without

The answer in every case to these rhetorical questions is CHRIST. But knowing who Christ is. is in fact what separates those that have the gift and those that do not.

1Co 2:7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:
1Co 2:8 Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.
1Co 2:9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
1Co 2:10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.

It is those who cannot receive this truth who kick against the pricks and do not know Christ and continue to worship the dragon in their ignorance.

1Jn 4:2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:
1Jn 4:3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

These words have nothing to do with physically speaking out that Jesus came in a flesh body 2,000 years ago and died on a cross. That is all Babylonian carnal nonsense who do not know that all His words are SPIRIT.

Joh 6:63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

The fact is that the Body of Christ is in fact “Christ”.  Not the head but very much the BODY.  Here is a zinger that makes this perfectly clear.

Eph 5:30  For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.

Until we are dragged thru the veil to the other side of the cloud, we cannot see the truth.

Heb 10:20 By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh;

This veil of His Flesh, which is His Body is what the world cannot see.

Angels/Messengers Reveal Christ To Us

Everything Christ does, He does thru His Body.  We are His instruments.  He dwells in us, His people.  We are the ones who speak the work to ears prepared to hear.  That is how Christ builds His church.  The revelation of Jesus Christ to each of us is given to us by a member of the Body of Christ, of of God’s Angels (messengers).

Rev 19:10  And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.

We all have Christ revealed to us by our fellowservant’s that are already in the Body!  Such have the testimony of Jesus, another words they speak the truth and show us sound doctrine.  We are not to worship these “angels” as they are only messengers of what God has given them.

Rev 22:8  And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which shewed me these things.
Rev 22:9  Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God.

We all initially will fall victim to some level of angel worship until we mature in the faith and truly believe that all things are indeed of the Lord.  Nobody Lord’s over anyone in the Body of Christ, we reject the doctrines of the Nicolatians that puts it all on one man and calls that man the Pope, the Minister, The Pastor etc.

Mar 10:42 But Jesus called them to him, and saith unto them, Ye know that they which are accounted to rule over the Gentiles exercise lordship over them; and their great ones exercise authority upon them.
Mar 10:43 But so shall it not be among you: but whosoever will be great among you, shall be your minister:

God’s Elect are His angels, they are His prophets and it is thru them only that Christ speaks.  We are His mouth, His arms, His legs, etc etc.  Very few know the real Christ.  They will falsely accuse God’s Elect of being elitist and having the audacity to call themselves the sons of God.  But that is exactly why carnal men rejected and crucified the Lord and the same will happen to His body.

Joh 5:18  Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not only had broken the sabbath, but said also that God was his Father, making himself equal with God.

We sure can, especially at first in our immaturity, mishandle this truth and be a bit condescending to others that are blind, deaf and dumb to the truth of God’s word.  I am as guilty as anyone of doing this, but that is part of God’s plan and the process by which we are humbled and brought to truly understand the sovereign work of God and that ALL THINGS means ALL THINGS.

Eph 1:11 In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:

Yet the other side of the narrow road shows us situations where we are to rebuke those that come against the truth.  We have such an example in John 8 where the Lord spoke to those that “believed on Him” but could not yet hear His word.  They thought they needed no repentance.

Joh 8:43  Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word.
Joh 8:44  Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

We can speak the truth all day long to those shut out without ears and they cannot believe us.  This is a story and a parable in John 8 of words we shall live by and experience.

Joh 8:45  And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.

This is all of us before we are given ears to hear.  We claim His name but know another jesus, we only know him in the flesh, not in the spirit.  We all will think we know Him but cannot understand His speech because it simply has not yet been given to us.  Our pride will not like to hear that we have nothing to do with having ears to hear or eyes to see. We so much want to take credit for it but God will have NONE OF IT.

Pro 20:12 The hearing ear, and the seeing eye, the LORD hath made even both of them.

Pro 1:23 Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you.

The concept of the body of Christ being Christ is all over the bible but it is hidden from carnal eyes.  I will end this post with a reminder of who the Lord Himself says is Jesus Christ?  Saul of Tarsus never saw the Lord and yet the Lord had this to say about who Saul was persecuting.

Act 9:3 And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven:
Act 9:4 And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?
Act 9:5 And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.

The Body of Christ is Christ.  We are the temple in which He dwells.  He IS come in the flesh already and lives to this very day.  This is the city of angels, the heavenly Jerusalem that is the light unto this world.

Rev 21:22 And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.
Rev 21:23 And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.

We are commanded to feed the sheep and nourish the lambs and that is exactly what we do when we speak the words of truth to those the Lord has prepared to receive it. It is a rare blessing indeed.

Luk 10:23 And he turned him unto his disciples, and said privately, Blessed are the eyes which see the things that ye see:
Luk 10:24 For I tell you, that many prophets and kings have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them.

Just as Christ was rejected and persecuted, so is The Christ.  We follow our Lord’s footsteps.

Act 4:26 The kings of the earth stood up, and the rulers were gathered together against the Lord, and against his Christ.

Rev 11:15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.

“Christ” does all the work for His Father and we His Christ do all His work.  That is the way God ordained it from the beginning of the world. Here is a gigantic verse, a trinity buster as well that simply tells us the plan of God and how HE is bringing this all about.

1Co 8:6  But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.

Many come into the true faith but are not faithful and begin fornicating with the world and allowing false doctrines to creep in all in the name of “love”.  But we best examine ourselves and our walk often and ensure we are properly discerning the Lord’s Body.  Those who think they don’t need the Body are sadly mistaken and now sleep and are sick being weak in the faith.

1Co 11:28 But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup.
1Co 11:29 For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body.
1Co 11:30 For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep.

One day all men shall be caught up and will meet Christ in the clouds.  In that day we will all be of one Spirit.  That is what this verse falsely used to support a rapture doctrine is really saying when one is given to know what is said.  We meet Christ in the clouds which is in His Body of witnesses.

1Th 4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: (in spirit)  and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

Growing To See the Fullness of Christ

imagesThe many called of God will first come to know Jesus Christ only in the flesh.  From out of the multitudes that know Christ in the flesh,  the Lord will drag a few chosen thru the veil of flesh into the realm of the spirit.  These few are God’s Elect who are given this blessing and the spiritual healing that comes with it.  It is when this veil is removed that our blindness is healed and we are given to see and to hear spiritually.  With ears to hear and eyes to see,  such blessed men and woman will be given to see past the letter of the Scripture and begin to understand the mysteries of the kingdom.

Mat 20:34  So Jesus had compassion on them, and touched their eyes: and immediately their eyes received sight, and they followed him.

2Co 3:14  But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ.

Unless and until this happens, all the Lord’s doing, we will not understand what is really being said in the Scriptures.  I can attest we will think otherwise but will have no clue until Christ is revealed to us in our appointed times.

Joh 6:63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

At this stage of our walk we are yet carnal and remain unconverted. We may well have cleaned up the outside of our cup while in Babylon and will be doing many good works, but the fact remains our hearts will not be circumcised until the Lord returns a second time to bring judgment against our old man and carnal nature.  We won’t know Him and have eternal life abiding in us, until our “day of the Lord” has begun in earnest.

Heb 9:28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.

Christ will come again to make war in our heavens and that is how salvation will come and how we will then know He is the Lord.

Rev 12:7  And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,

Rev 12:8  And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.

Rev 12:9  And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

Rev 12:10  And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.

For a great article on where is heaven, click here.

Once faith has come and the Spirit given to God’s Elect (no free will involved) then as babes we will learn and grow quickly.  The original Apostles who walked with Christ for 3.5 years remained unconverted themselves and Pentecost was just the beginning of their walk in the Spirit. They still had everything to learn and much to unlearn as the Scriptures tell us as they matured in the true faith.  We like Peter and ALL disciples will think we are already converted and see when we are still blind as bats not knowing who Christ truly is.

Luk 18:34 And they understood none of these things: and this saying was hid from them, neither knew they the things which were spoken.

Luk 22:32 But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.  (We can’t do the works of God until faith comes and the Spirit is given)

Mat 26:35 Peter said unto him, Though I should die with thee, yet will I not deny thee. Likewise also said all the disciples (you and me all of us will live these words, it was not just Peter)

Joh 9:39 And Jesus said, For judgment I am come into this world, that they which see not might see; and that they which see might be made blind.

There is no avoiding it.  We can’t shortcut God’s plan and not live the words of God that say we will first serve Him in the flesh but not know Him in the spirit.  Before we know the real Jesus and understand Christ we will follow and know Him only in the flesh and will have no spiritual understanding as carnal babes in Babylon.  But a day will come when the Lord returns to make war in our heavens and that is when we will begin to be taught the deep mysteries of the kingdom and know Christ in spirit

2Co 5:16 Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more.

2Co 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. (even the Jesus we knew in the flesh)

Understanding We Live By Every Word

Isa 55:8  For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.

God’s ways are not the ways of the carnal mind and the carnal mind will think the ways of the Lord are foolishness.  This verse below quoted in both Matthew and Luke, from what Christ spoke in Deuteronomy is a stumbling block to those that walk after the flesh who are yet carnal and claim they see but are indeed spiritually blind.  That is all of us at one time because as we saw above when Christ comes to us the second time, those that say they are blind will be given sight and those that claim they see will be made blind.

Mat 4:4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

Deu 8:3  And he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know; that he might make thee know that man doth not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the LORD doth man live.

Few are given to understand the depth of this statement by Christ. He did not say man should follow the 10 commandments when He spoke these words. That is what Babylonian doctrine teaches, the Scriptures teach something entirely different — the truth. The truth is man will live by every word God spoke in the Scriptures which is His word. Nothing will be left out and we have specific warnings in Revelation 22 about those that will add to or take away from the words of God. For those given eyes to see, they will come to know that they will live by every word in the Scriptures. This means they will see themselves in every verse of the Bible. The verses are not speaking about somebody else, they are speaking about you and me and all men in the appointed times. It does take time to grow and to fully appreciate what living every word really means but the Lord will give the increase when we are able to bear it. So when you see this you are blessed indeed as then you as the reader “will understand” and Christ’s appearing is at the very door.

Mat 24:15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)

Rev 1:3 Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.

CHRIST IS (not was) COME IN THE FLESH

The mystery of living by every word comes with the understanding that Christ is the first Adam (sinful marred vessel of clay, the old man with a carnal mind) and the second Adam (the Lord from heaven, the new man). Christ is the first and the last.

1Co 15:47 The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven.
1Co 15:48 As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.
1Co 15:49 And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.

Christ being the alpha and the omega means that we are Jesus Christ (part of the BODY, not the head) as we come into this world as the first man Adam and in the appointed times are transformed into the Lord from heaven, the new man. Christ was made sin not when He died on the cross, but when He came in the likeness of sinful flesh. FLESH IS SIN, Christ’s flesh was sin and our flesh is sin and as God’s Elect, we are in Him and He is in us. He is the the alpha and the omega.

2Co 5:21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

Rom 8:3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:

Heb 2:14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;

Christ having already overcome sinful flesh suffered thru all the same temptations we do yet He was without sin.  But having done this, He is our high priest and is able to give us comfort in our time of temptation.  All the lies of Babylon about Christ being immaculately conceived and having a different kind of flesh is nonsense and is another jesus. Jesus Christ HAS come and IS coming NOW, in sinful flesh.   He is in my flesh right now making war in my heavens and bringing judgment upon the old man and cleansing His temple which temple I am and all of God’s Elect will be.

Act 7:48 Howbeit the most High dwelleth not in temples made with hands; as saith the prophet,
Act 7:49 Heaven is my throne, and earth is my footstool: what house will ye build me? saith the Lord: or what is the place of my rest?

Knowing where is heaven and what the earth refers to is paramount to understand what is being said.  Anyone who denies this is still of their father the devil, is yet carnal and is antiChrist with their beliefs and are serving another jesus following a false gospel.

1Jn 4:2-3  Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God.   And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

2Jn 1:7  For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.

Israel – The Body of Christ On Which the Head Sits

Isa 49:3  And said unto me, Thou art my servant, O Israel, in whom I will be glorified.

Understanding “The Christ” thru which Christ does all His work today is giant mystery that carnal minds will yell blasphemy when they hear such things; but they simply do not understand.  The Scriptures remains sealed unto them and it simply has not been given them to understand as many are called and only few are chosen.  God’s Elect are not Jesus Christ the head, but we are indeed Jesus Christ THE BODY.  Until Christ was resurrected in a spiritual body He had no place to lay His head and that was the parable being spoken about below.   Jesus was not suggesting we become homeless vagabonds as many carnal holy rollers will lead you to believe.  No, Jesus wanted to get on with building His church and bringing fire into the earth of His chosen vessels.

Mat 8:20  And Jesus saith unto him, The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head.

Luk 12:49  I am come to send fire on the earth; and what will I, if it be already kindled?

The WORD is Christ and is within all those who are His body, the very Elect.   That same Word is also called ‘fire’ in the scriptures and lo and behold, that fire is found in the same place Christ and His Word are to be found:

Jer 5:14  Wherefore thus saith the LORD God of hosts, Because ye speak this word, behold, I will make my words in thy mouth fire, and this people wood, and it shall devour them.

Rev 11:5  And if any man will hurt them [God’s witnesses], fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed.

Eventually all men will be dragged to Christ and be saved, all but the Elect at the White Throne Judgment.  Paul speaking to the Greeks at Mars Hill plainly tells us what organized religion can never accept.

Act 17:28For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.

A loving father is not going to torment his own children forever without end.  Utter carnal delusion.  So ultimately all men are Israel and Christ will dwell in all His people, but for now, God’s purposes is to save only the few His Elect.    Hence Paul wrote of this parable and riddle that continues to confound the wisdom of the wise.

Rom 9:6Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel:

Rom 11:26And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:

It is God purposes to save the many thru the few and God’s Elect, the Body of Christ will be the rulers and judges in the ages to come.  It is our speaking the words of fire that is the lake of fire and the words “of Christ” that will judge the multitudes in righteousness.  Christ made clear that it would be “the words I have spoken” which would judge all men:

Joh 12:48  He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.

So Christ’s words are fire in the mouths of His elect, and we are all being judged by that very same fire now in this age:

1Co 3:13  Every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is.

First and Last & Alpha and Omega

Christ is the first and the last. The Alpha and Omega and all points in-between.  ALL THINGS ARE OF GOD. He causes all the  good and all the evil.  Yet the carnal mind and doctrines of Babylon have another jesus.   Lightness and darkness is the same to the Lord.

Psa 139:12 Yea, the darkness hideth not from thee; but the night shineth as the day: the darkness and the light are both alike to thee.

He is not evil but indeed works evil for good and creates it for His purposes.

Isa 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.

Gen 50:20 But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive.

Rom 8:28 And we know that ALL THINGS work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

So knowing these things, begins to unlock the mystery of what life is all about. If we are God’s Elect then we are told we are His temple, that is where He dwells right now sitting in our heavens.

1Co 3:16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

We are God’s house if we are His Elect. Not only does judgment begin with us and we are judged first, but in our house are both honorable and dishonorable things. God uses them both to accomplish His will.

2Ti 2:20 But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour.

And ultimately thru judgment the dishonorable things are purged from our lives, our bodies, our minds and the heavens that are within.  The wood, hay and stubble, the dishonorable things will be purged with fire and heat.

2Ti 2:21If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master’s use, and prepared unto every good work.

And once He completes this refining and destruction of our carnal nature, then we as part of His Elect, His ministers of flame on this earth can be used to do the greater works that Christ spoke about.

Mal 3:3 And he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the LORD an offering in righteousness.

Heb 1:7 And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire.

Joh 14:12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.

But these works cannot commence until our prior carnal works where we thought we served God but worked against Him and denied His name are burned up in the fire of His word during our judgment.

1Co 3:15 If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.

Christ being the first Adam in all of us just goes to show that it was God’s purposes for us to live every word and to eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. We cannot become like gods until we do so. We have to live by every word.

Gen 3:22 And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:

And this includes are very sins, the evil we commit and live by until the Lord brings judgment to us and causes us to obey His commandments.

Isa 63:17 O LORD, why hast thou made us to err from thy ways, and hardened our heart from thy fear? Return for thy servants’ sake, the tribes of thine inheritance.

Pro 16:4 The LORD hath made all things for himself: yea, even the wicked for the day of evil.

While we are these bodies of flesh, full of the law of sin and death, we cannot help but sin and it is only by His grace that we are given little by little the dominion to overcome. Only God’s very Elect will be given this dominion, which is salvation in this age. The rest will be saved in the Lake of Fire.

So hopefully some of the readers will see the heresy in the carnal doctrine that man was made perfect and believe the Babylonian lie of the fall of mankind. The fact is we were created sin. Flesh is sin and nothing good dwells in it.

Psa 51:5 Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.

One day we will live these words and speak what David spoke and then we will understand that even Jesus Christ in a body of flesh was not good.

Mar 10:18 And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God.

The Scriptures, the very words we live by everyone tell us of God’s plan. We will live the darkness and live the sins that are written in the Book.

Jer 18:2 Arise, and go down to the potter’s house, and there I will cause thee to hear my words.
Jer 18:3 Then I went down to the potter’s house, and, behold, he wrought a work on the wheels.
Jer 18:4 And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter: so he made it again another vessel, as seemed good to the potter to make it.

The details of our lives will be different but the one event will be the same and that is living by every word, and this begins with being the vessel of dishonor, the virtual sinning machine in a body of sinful flesh. We will walk in strong delusion long before in His mercy the Lord opens our eyes to see His wonderful works to the children of men.

Rom 9:21 Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour?

This is remarkable truth of the Lord’s plan for us all. One that we will never believe even if a man declare it unto us. We will first be mockers of this truth.

Act 13:41 Behold, ye despisers, and wonder, and perish: for I work a work in your days, a work which ye shall in no wise believe, though a man declare it unto you.

If we are so blessed to be His Elect, then the veil of flesh will be removed and the Body of Christ will come to us and open the seals from the Book. Then we shall see.

Rev 5:5 And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.
Rev 5:6 And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.
Rev 5:7 And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne.

I did not understand all of this at first. It took a couple of years of me eating the true bread from heaven and being in the midst of Christ to grow in the grace and knowledge of the Lord. Now I have been given a ministry to feed the flock and to bring the lost sheep into the fold. There won’t be many of them in this age as many are called and few are chosen, yet the Lord has been faithful to give me those opportunities and to even bring forth fruit of that labor.

Praise God for Him giving the increase to seed sown and water poured out.

1Co 3:7 So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.

I can now look behind and see where the Lord has taken me. It is not me living, it is Christ living in me. I know there is much still to be lived and to learn yet for each new day we are given, I can truly say thank you Lord for the “all things” that have been given to me.

1Co 3:21 Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are yours;
1Co 3:22 Whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come; all are yours;
1Co 3:23 And ye are Christ’s; and Christ is God’s.

CHRIST RETURNS IN THE CLOUDS – HIS WITNESSES

The parable of Christ ascending into the clouds where He sits at in heaven at the right hand of God tells those with eyes to see where Christ dwells.  Carnal eyes won’t be able to see where Christ went as it must be spiritually discerned.

Act 1:9 And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.

Act 1:10And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel;

Again if we know where heaven then we can begin to understand the mystery.

Act 1:11 Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.

Christ comes in the clouds, that is where everyone will see Him in due time.  Those clouds are God’s Elect.

Rev 1:7 Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.

Rev_11:12And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.

Rev_14:14 And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle.

The Body of Christ is the clouds, we are His witnesses, it is us who have the testimony of Jesus Christ and loved not our life unto death.

Heb 12:1Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,

Jesus Christ has a Christ and it is these witnesses that are likened to clouds in Scripture.  These clouds are the lights unto this dark world but the cloud that is Christ is both light and darkness.  To those very few God is dragging to Himself now, the clouds will be light in the night but to those carnal multitudes in Babylon who are not being dragged, the very same cloud is utter darkness.  I have shared this Scripture lately that foretell of this mysterious way of the Lord.

Exo 14:20  And it came between the camp of the Egyptians and the camp of Israel; and it was a cloud and darkness to them, but it gave light by night to these: so that the one came not near the other all the night.

Exo 19:9  And the LORD said unto Moses, Lo, I come unto thee in a thick cloud, that the people may hear when I speak with thee, and believe thee for ever

I hope this post has brought you to see that we are Jesus Christ if we are His Elect.  We are not the head but we are the body and consider who Jesus Christ the head says we are when speaking to our persecutors.  Paul never saw the Lord when He was in His own personal body of flesh yet heed the words of the Lord.

If we can’t say this is true then it is not true.  Let the redeemed of the Lord say so.  Just like our head, we will be hated and persecuted for doing what He did.  Those in Babylon will seek to kill Christ in us that is speaking these truths.

Joh 5:18  Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not only had broken the sabbath, but said also that God was his Father, making himself equal with God.

It takes time to grow in our understanding of the depth of God’s wisdom and to understand the meat of His word.  We are not given it all at once, it is fed to us as we are able to receive it.

Joh 16:12 I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now.

We will close with a review of the warnings of adding to or taking away from our part in the book.

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN WE DENY WE LIVE BY EVERY WORD?

All of us will at first be adding to and taking away from the book of life in which the names of God’s Elect are written and in due time will include the names of all men. We have Scripture that tells us what happens and these too are words we shall live by in due time.

If we add to the words of God, we just are given more false doctrines, the plagues to deceive us and keep us blinded from the truth.

Rev 22:18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:

If we subtract or take away from the book, saying those words do not apply to us, then we have no part in the book of life which means we do not know the Lord and are following another jesus.

Rev 22:19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

When we take away from the book, we don’t know Him and have not eternal life abiding in us.

Joh 17:3 And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.

I pray this has helped some of you see the bigger picture and to appreciate more that it is the SUM OF THY WORD that is truth. Only taking “some” of it is another jesus.

Psa 119:160 The sum of Your word is truth

Your brother living that one event that comes alike to all of us,

Pete

Ecc 9:2 All things come alike to all: there is one event to the righteous, and to the wicked; to the good and to the clean, and to the unclean; to him that sacrificeth, and to him that sacrificeth not: as is the good, so is the sinner; and he that sweareth, as he that feareth an oath.
