“The Blessing of God’s Election”

The Lord has been merciful to us in bringing us out of many deceptions and giving us greater revelation of the mystery of Christ. One such huge revelation by the Spirit was seeing God’s plans and purposes to save all men by the same process and seeing with clarity that there is no preferential treatment, greater rewards or lesser punishments given to any man.

Eph 3:4  Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ

Eph 3:5  Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit;

Eph 3:6  That the Gentiles should be fellow heirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel

The promises to Abram were that his descendants would be as infinite as the stars in heaven, symbolizing that ALL MEN are the Lord’s and will receive the same great reward (Gen 15:1) in the end.

Gen 15:5  And he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, So shall thy seed be.

Any man given the gift of faith, which will be all mankind in the appointed times, are the children of Abraham.  This is true despite it also being true that today there are very few given the gift of faith and knowledge of the mysteries of God.  Yet the Lord and the Scriptures speak in ways that declare the end from the beginning which means they speak of things that are not yet as if they already were.  The righteousness by faith is coming to all men and that is how we as the Lord’s people need to see it with the end in mind.

Rom 4:17  As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations, before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.

Growing in grace and truth, we are being blessed and learning the mind of Christ in coming to see as the Lord sees it and act with the same mercy and compassion He exhibited to all of mankind.

Gal 3:7  Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham.

Gal 3:8  And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed

Our enlightening (coming out of darkness) is very sobering as the depth of deception and false doctrines that bound us for a season is becoming clearer.  We have indeed been given a great escape from error and can now rebuild the holes that were in our doctrinal wall.

Ezr 9:8  And now for a little space grace hath been shewed from the LORD our God, to leave us a remnant to escape, and to give us a nail in his holy place, that our God may lighten our eyes, and give us a little reviving in our bondage.

Ezr 9:9  For we were bondmen; yet our God hath not forsaken us in our bondage, but hath extended mercy unto us in the sight of the kings of Persia, to give us a reviving, to set up the house of our God, and to repair the desolations thereof, and to give us a wall [holy w/o doctrinal holes] in Judah and in Jerusalem.

The people of God are learning contentment and waiting on the Lord versus the ways of the flesh which has us pursuing knowledge to reap unrighteous gain in this life.  We should take heed the Lord’s commands to continually pray that we be found faithful in the end and escape these errors that have led many disciples away from the living Christ.

Luk 21:34  And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting [over eating/consumption], and drunkenness [knowledge/wine], and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.

Luk 21:35  For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.

Luk 21:36  Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

Knowing the process, the punishments and the reward given all men is exactly the same, our commands are to be humble ourselves and wait on Him to bring the overcoming and exalt us to a place of greater spiritual maturity.   We are to be watchful for the adversary within us who by the subtlety of deceit will lead all but the very Elect astray.

1Pe 5:6  Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:

1Pe 5:7  Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

1Pe 5:8  Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

It is a temptation of the devil and our flesh to seek disciples after ourselves and see ourselves exercising lordship and ruling over other men thinking that is a “special reward” for those first given the Lord’s precious gifts.  We must be wary this negative side of an evangelizing spirit and a spirit that seeks followers and the establishment of preeminence.

Hab 2:5  Yea also, because he transgresseth by wine, he is a proud man, neither keepeth at home, who enlargeth his desire as hell, and is as death, and cannot be satisfied, but gathereth unto him all nations, and heapeth unto him all people:

Paul warns of this spirit and that it arises within the church from within the those we gather and fellowship with.  Look within ourselves first!

Act 20:30  Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.

The devil is always right there to play into our pride and take us up to show us that we can have dominion over men.  It is a lie of Satan that has us believing we will be ruling over other men in outward rulership that is contrary to the Scriptures rightfully divided.  Here is the origin of that spirit in the temptations of Christ which is the temptation of you and me as we are His Christ and on our way to becoming mature sons of God.

Luk 4:5  And the devil, taking him up into an high mountain, shewed unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time.

Luk 4:6  And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it.

Luk 4:7  If thou therefore wilt worship me, all shall be thine

Luk 4:8  And Jesus answered and said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve. [not Satan and not our flesh and its lusts]

The pride of life present in all flesh makes for an alluring temptation because all flesh seeks its own gain and glory.  It is very few who have had this pride squeezed out of them through heavy trials as Paul wrote to those in Philippi.

Php 2:20  For I have no one like-minded, who genuinely will care for the things about you.

Php 2:21  For all seek their own things, not the things of Christ Jesus.

Only Christ, working in us will guide us to please [love the Lord] God and deny ourselves and seek not our own glory (1Co 13:5).

Joh 8:50  And I seek not mine own glory: there is one that seeketh and judgeth.

God’s Love for Israel

We learned many things that are not true the way we learned them.  For example, we would say things like the Scriptures are only written for us the chosen few in this age because we are a special class of people.  While it’s true only those few given ears to hear can understand the Scriptures and that is whom they were written, an equally great truth is that all men will come to knowledge of the truth and be saved by those same Scriptures and the fiery experience they bring when one is given to read, hear and understand them.

Rev 1:3  Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.

It is Christ in us, the new man chosen to be ruler in Israel; King David in type and shadow who is the apple of His eye

Psa 17:8  Keep me as the apple of the eye, hide me under the shadow of thy wings,

Yet the Lord loves all men and it is for the sake of all men that He was made a sacrifice for our sins.

Joh 3:16  For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

1Jn 2:2  And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world

The saving of all men which is ALL Israel comes when we are born of the Spirit of God.  This too is all His Work, it is nothing of ourselves and hence there is no special reward for being given a free gift with no merit involved.  The simplicity in Christ has been spoiled by carnal inventions of men who have sought to exalt themselves among the people of God.

Eph 2:8  For by grace you are saved, through faith, and this not of yourselves; it is the gift of God

Eph 2:9  not of works, that not anyone should boast;

It will be the new man coming forth from the destruction of the first man (the old man, the first Adam) to be given the inheritance and loved by the Lord.

Mal 1:2  I have loved you, saith the LORD. Yet ye say, Wherein hast thou loved us? Was not Esau Jacob’s brother? saith the LORD: yet I loved Jacob,

Mal 1:3  And I hated Esau, and laid his mountains and his heritage waste for the dragons of the wilderness.

But as we saw, God sees the end from the beginning.  It is all men, not just those chosen to be given the gifts in this age who will bear both experiences.

1Co 15:47  The first man [Esau] is of the earth, earthy: the second man [Jacob] is the Lord from heaven.

1Co 15:49  And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.

We are blessed first as those given the gifts now in this age and gathered in Christ by His predestination of our entire life before we were even born.

Eph 1:10  That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him:

Eph 1:11  In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:

Eph 1:12  That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.

The promises of God will come to all men as He loves all and is no respecter of any person.  It will be the one and the same conclusion which is the result of coming through the one and same process of judgment that is the lake of fire resulting in a man conformed into the image of God in whom Christ is glorified.

Romans 8:30  Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.

In this age, indeed few will be chosen and be given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God.  The resurrected Christ only appears to the witnesses chosen of the Lord in every age.

Mat 22:14  For many are called, but few are chosen

Act 10:40  Him God raised up the third day, and shewed him openly;

Act 10:41  Not to all the people, but unto witnesses chosen before of God, even to us, who did eat and drink with him after he rose from the dead.

But a few chosen now does not negate the truth that all will be chosen in the end and receive the same full reward and attain salvation by the one and same process the Elect experience earlier.

Isa 46:13  I bring near my righteousness; it shall not be far off, and my salvation shall not tarry: and I will place salvation in Zion for Israel my glory.

Rom 11:26  And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:

Who will be saved from their sins?  ALL MEN

1Ti 4:10  For to this end we both labor and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Savior of all men, especially of those who believe [now in this age, the receive the gift first].

Isa 66:16  For by fire and by his sword will the LORD plead with all flesh: and the slain of the LORD shall be many.

Luk 3:6  And all flesh shall see the salvation of God.

What is the advantage of being Elected or Chosen sooner?

Paul wrote about two temporary classes of people, the Jews and Gentiles extensively in Romans 2.  Those scriptures showing that the Jews are first given the blessings that will come to all men and there is no difference and no respect of persons with the Lord.

Rom 2:9  Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile;

Rom 2:10  But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile

Rom 2:11  For there is no respect of persons with God.

Paul continues in Romans 3 and answers the logical question he as asked and that all inquiring carnal minds will ask.

Rom 3:1  What advantage then hath the Jew? or what profit is there of [spiritual – Col 2:11] circumcision?

Rom 3:2  Much every way: chiefly, because that unto them were committed [BELIEF – FAITH in] the oracles of God.

It is much better to be in the truth now and have faith than to be separated from the Lord and abiding in spiritual darkness.  Our advantage or superiority as some translations cite the word is that we receiving the blessing first.  We are first given to read, hear and understand His Word and reap the blessings to the new man as Christ is formed in us and grows.  Being delivered from bondage and set free from our sin is certainly an advantage I hope all of us are eager to hearken unto.  There is great freedom in Christ as we are given the faith to abide (live and act) according to His Word and commands.

Joh 8:31  Then Jesus said to the Jews who had believed in Him, If you continue in My Word, you are truly My disciples.

Joh 8:32  And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.

Being free in Christ versus remaining in slavery to our sin is the clear advantage to the Jew who is saved first.  Being chosen of God, we become His witnesses and then spread the word of God (the fire) as His preachers and ministers and eventually all mankind comes into the kingdom.  What a wonderful blessing to be the first to taste of His heavenly gift and be used of Him to work His work.

Joh 14:12  Indeed, I tell you truly, the one believing into Me, the works which I do, that one shall do also, and greater than these he will do, because I go to My Father

There are many warnings for us to not be puffed up and begin thinking of ourselves as superior to other men.  Those admonitions are there for a reason.  Because we will do such things before we learn not to do it.

Mat 23:12  And whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.

Oba 1:3  The pride of thine heart hath deceived thee, thou that dwellest in the clefts of the rock, whose habitation is high; that saith in his heart, Who shall bring me down to the ground?

Oba 1:4  Though thou exalt thyself as the eagle, and though thou set thy nest among the stars, thence will I bring thee down, saith the LORD.

The truth is we are not better than other men, we are truly unworthy servants [Luk 10:17] chosen without merit by the Lord to bring about His will to His people which is all men beginning with ourselves.  None of us is righteous or brought anything the Lord needed to the table.

Rom 3:9  What then? are we better than they? No, in no wise: for we have before proved both Jews and Gentiles, that they are all under sin;

Rom 3:10  As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one

Rom 3:27  Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith.

The whole premise of asking what greater pay is in it for us as the Elect is a carnal question.  The better question and the focus of our heart is how can we serve our Lord and bring His glory to the Gentiles within and without ourselves.  That glory is made manifest by judgment that comes by the Word that comes to us when given the Holy Spirit which is guiding us in all truths.

Isa 42:1  Behold my servant, whom I uphold; mine elect, in whom my soul delighteth; I have put my spirit upon him: he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles.

Mat 12:18  Behold my servant, whom I have chosen; my beloved, in whom my soul is well pleased: I will put my spirit upon him, and he shall shew judgment to the Gentiles.

God’s people are first to go through the lake of Fire, experiencing the Second Death now in this age. This is the very thing that is making them holy as we die to death which is the carnal mind [Rom 8:6] and raises us up with Christ having His mind.  There is no greater blessing any man can receive.

Deu 14:2  For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God, and the LORD hath chosen thee to be a peculiar people unto himself, above all the nations that are upon the earth.

2Ti 1:9  Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,

It is truly a blessing to be God’s Elect in this age.  Being the firstfruits unto holiness and being set free from our sin is an advantage our possession of the oracles of God will bring to us if we endure to the end (Mat 24:13).

For Our Admonition Part 9

“Restoration of the Land”

Key Verses:  2Ki 8:1 – 8:6

We have one more “story” regarding the Shunammite woman who is instructive to our own growth and maturity in Christ.   Salvation and our sanctification, is a process, one that never ends while we occupy these clay vessels.  We should be striving continually as we endure the trials and temptations the Lord has defined for us all the way to the end.

Mat 24:13  But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

Heb 3:14  For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end;

Here is our story involving Elisha, the woman, her household, Gehazi and the king.

2Ki 8:1  Then spake Elisha unto the woman, whose son he had restored to life, saying, Arise, and go thou and thine household, and sojourn wheresoever thou canst sojourn: for the LORD hath called for a famine; and it shall also come upon the land seven years.

2Ki 8:2  And the woman arose, and did after the saying of the man of God: and she went with her household, and sojourned in the land of the Philistines seven years.

2Ki 8:3  And it came to pass at the seven years’ end, that the woman returned out of the land of the Philistines: and she went forth to cry unto the king for her house and for her land.

2Ki 8:4  And the king talked with Gehazi the servant of the man of God, saying, Tell me, I pray thee, all the great things that Elisha hath done.

2Ki 8:5  And it came to pass, as he was telling the king how he had restored a dead body to life, that, behold, the woman, whose son he had restored to life, cried to the king for her house and for her land. And Gehazi said, My lord, O king, this is the woman, and this is her son, whom Elisha restored to life.

2Ki 8:6  And when the king asked the woman, she told him. So the king appointed unto her a certain officer, saying, Restore all that was hers, and all the fruits of the field since the day that she left the land, even until now.

Even after being raised from the dead (our last Study Part 8), we still have a walk to walk out. Our resurrection in down payment form is the beginning rather than the end of our trials and tribulations.

Rom 6:4  Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

Act 14:22  Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.

Why is it that the Lord gives us seven years of plenty and then tries us by putting us through seven years of famine and drought?  Here is why.

1Pe 1:3  Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

1Pe 1:4  To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,

1Pe 1:5  Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

1Pe 1:6  Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations:

1Pe 1:7  That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:

Our calling and election is a LIVING HOPE.  It is not a done deal, we have to live it out and Lord willing we will be found faithful, IF we stay on the course through thick and thin.

Joh 8:31  Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;

Joh 8:32  And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

There is a time and season for everything under the sun (Ecc 3:1).  We are all under this sun which is really all under The Son of God, the Lord Jesus Christ.  This is because all things that happen are being done IN CHRIST.

Joh 15:1  I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.

Joh 15:2  Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.

Act 17:28  For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.

The Lord uses these seasons of trial, temptation and famine to kill our old man and our carnal and fleshly desires.  These trials are most precious to the Lord because they are what is killing our old man and bringing forth the new man.

Psa 116:15  Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints.

Before we move on, let’s remember where the land being spoken about is.

Luk 17:20  And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:

Luk 17:21  Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you

It is all within God’s people.  Our possession of the land is our being given dominion over sin and abiding in life as we are given to overcome and obey the Lord.

Deu 8:1  All the commandments which I command thee this day shall ye observe to do, that ye may live, and multiply, and go in and possess the land which the LORD sware unto your fathers.

Elisha warns of the famine to come and the woman is led of the Lord to take her household (son and presumably her husband) into a carnal land for seven years.

2Ki 8:2  And the woman arose, and did after the saying of the man of God: and she went with her household, and sojourned in the land of the Philistines seven years.

Even after coming to Christ, we are yet carnal as were the Corinthians (1Co 3:1-3).  We have to sojourn with the Philistines which is in the land of Israel yet are of the uncircumcision (1Sa 17:26) for our time and seasons appointed.  Yet that land is part of the promise given to Israel and we will be given dominion over this land.

Exo 23:31  And I will set thy bounds from the Red sea even unto the sea of the Philistines, and from the desert unto the river: for I will deliver the inhabitants of the land into your hand; and thou shalt drive them out before thee.

To understand this war raging within the land of Israel (inside your mind and walk), a lot can be learned looking out in the physical to see what the Lord is doing in the Kingdom of God within His elect in this age.  Israel is always at war with the Philistines even unto this very day (Rom 1:20).

Wikipedia:  The Philistines were an ancient people known for their conflict with the Israelites described in the Bible. … In biblical Hebrew they become Pelishtim; in Greek, their land becomes Palestina, hence the terms Palestine and Philistine.

Spiritually speaking, the Philistines represent our flesh and its carnal lusts.  Even the root word of Philistines bears this out.

H6428, pâlash

paw-lash’

A primitive root; to roll (in dust): – roll (wallow) self.

Total KJV occurrences: 4

We have to wallow in the dust of our carnal mind for seven years before the land is restored unto Israel.  This is torment and herein lies the patience of the saints as we wait on this restoral or restitution of all things.

Act 3:20  And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you:

Act 3:21  Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.

This is the activity going on now within God’s elect in the Kingdom of God.  This will play out outwardly at the Great White Throne judgment (aka the lake of fire) when all men shall be saved from their sins and go through the same judgment and torment the saints are enduring now in this age (Rev 14:10-12).  It takes all seven years (the complete time the Lord has ordained) of us striving between the flesh and the Spirit to be growing into maturity so we can enter into the land to possess the land.

Gal 5:17  For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.

The old man is the one being starved and the one upon whom God’s wrath is fallen.  It is good we go thru a famine as otherwise the old man would not die (Rut 1:1-3).  This experience is preparing us for greater works in the Kingdom and Temple of the living God.  It is not us that drives out the heathen Philistines, it is Christ in us and the armies of Christ.

We are being saved from famine in the same way we are saved from death and judgment.  It is by our old man experiencing these things that the new man is saved from them.

Eze 36:27  And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.

Eze 36:28  And ye shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and ye shall be my people, and I will be your God.

Eze 36:29  I will also save you from all your uncleannesses: and I will call for the corn, and will increase it, and lay no famine upon you.

Eze 36:30  And I will multiply the fruit of the tree, and the increase of the field, that ye shall receive no more reproach of famine among the heathen.

When we battle giants in our land and fall down our seven times, we are being chastened.  It’s so easy to revert to the righteousness of the law to justify ourselves but we do much better remembering who is being saved and who is being destroyed and this is all the Lord’s work.

1Th 5:9  For God hath not appointed us (the new man) to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,

1Th 5:10  Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.

1Th 5:11  Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.

Isa 64:8  But now, O LORD, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand.

It is this experience of evil, the Lord uses to humble us (Ecc 1:13 CLV) so we will remember our evil ways and be given the presence of mind (Christ) to obey God.

Eze 36:31  Then shall ye remember your own evil ways, and your doings that were not good, and shall loathe yourselves in your own sight for your iniquities and for your abominations.

In the times appointed, the seven years are completed and we, as this Shunammite woman, are being led of the Lord back to our own land where it will be restored unto us.

2Ki 8:3  And it came to pass at the seven years’ end, that the woman returned out of the land of the Philistines: and she went forth to cry unto the king for her house and for her land.

The famine works its work in us and we are being prepared for the spiritual journey back home to our own land and our own people.  Such is the inheritance of God’s people and this abode is only in The Christ.

Eph 1:18  The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,

Coming to know this is how we are being prepared and made zealous for good works, the reason we have been put into this Body of Christ (Tit 2:14) and that is to serve.

Col 3:23 And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;

Col 3:24  Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.

The trial of our faith is waiting on the Lord during these times of famine and struggle with the Philistines within.  This is how we are learning patience during this symbolic period of seven years (Luk 21:19, Rev 14:12).  We come to glory in our tribulations and all seasons the Lord is giving us as we are growing in faith and are given patience to wait upon the Lord to finish His work.  Only then do we learn to trust not in ourselves and what we see with our natural eyes, but instead stand on the Lord’s promises and the hope we receive from these promises when we believe.

Rom 5:3 And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;

Rom 5:4  And patience, experience; and experience, hope:

When our appointed time of sojourning is up, the famine ends and all our possessions we lost are being restored back unto us.

Job 42:10  And the LORD turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before.

This is the double blessing of our heavens and earth.  The Lord is in the business of calling light out of darkness that He creates in us that are comprised of a heaven and an earth.

Gen 1:1  In the (H7225 – firstfruits) beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

The heavens typify our mind which is becoming the mind of Christ through trials and suffering that decrease the old man and increase the new man.  The earth is our walk and outward actions which are also blessed as we are given dominion over sin.  John and all of God’s elect see this new heaven and new earth (in down payment form in this age) within them being formed as they are given to abide in the Holy City (Zion) which is also Christ’s bride.

Rev 21:1  And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

Rev 21:2  And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

Col 1:19  For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell;

Col 1:20  And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.

Col 1:21  And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled

Psa 134:3  The LORD that made heaven and earth bless thee out of Zion.

All men reap this blessing after coming through the lake of fire (Zion) in their day of judgment.  We cry out for restoration of our land and the fruits thereof as the people of God.

Our new man (the king of Israel in this case) asks the servant about all the wonderful works and great things that Elisha (Christ) has done.  The Lord told us that blessed are those who believe in the miracles of Christ without seeing (Joh 20:29).  Yet we, as kings in training, are given signs in our immaturity in seeing the return of the woman and her son resurrected from the dead. We see this miracle in ourselves and we see it in others in the Body of Christ.

It is the elect of God who are the kings and priests of the Lord.

Rev 5:10  And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.

Our new man is already sitting on the throne of Israel (Christ in us) judging righteous judgment (Joh 7:24) within the Kingdom and nations within us (Luk 17:21).  This is just an earnest of our role to come in the Millennium Reign and the Lake of Fire.

Mat 19:28  And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

1Co 6:2  Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters?

The woman makes her plea directly to the king of Israel which leads to restoration of her land.

2Ki 8:6  And when the king asked the woman, she told him. So the king appointed unto her a certain officer, saying, Restore all that was hers, and all the fruits of the field since the day that she left the land, even until now.

The woman that we are individually and as part of the church (the elect), give birth to the son.  As any good mother, we naturally seek the well-being of our offspring as is the duty of all in Christ.  By the words we speak, and deeds we do, we are always making petitions for restoration of the land as we seek salvation and overcoming of our sins.

Luk 18:7  And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them?

The certain officer that is appointed here is the Body of Christ and the multitude of counselors in whom all of God’s people will trust.

Pro 11:14  Where no counsel is, the people fall: but in the multitude of counsellors there is safety.

Wise counsel is righteous judgment which is evaluating all things through the prism of the Scriptures.  It is the elect of God, the only ones given to understand the Scriptures (Mat 13:10), who are the judges.  It is by those works (judgment) by which the land within every one of us is restored and the fruits of increase returned unto us two-fold (Zec 9:4, Isa 61:7).  These blessing to the new man are found only in The Christ.

Act 7:49  Heaven is my throne, and earth is my footstool: what house will ye build me? saith the Lord: or what is the place of my rest?

We are being redeemed by the Lord through judgment.  This is how our land is restored.

Isa 1:26  And I will restore thy judges as at the first, and thy counsellors as at the beginning: afterward thou shalt be called, The city of righteousness, the faithful city.

Isa 1:27  Zion shall be redeemed with judgment, and her converts with righteousness.

The latter rain (Truth we receive) will come in abundance when we are being returned to the land of Israel.  The Lord promises to restore all that was eaten by our bondage to lies and carnal mindedness that had to be burned out of us in the land of the Philistines.

Joe 2:23  Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the LORD your God: for he hath given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month.

Joe 2:24  And the floors shall be full of wheat, and the fats shall overflow with wine and oil.

Joe 2:25  And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.

The restoration of the land requires the prayers and actions of righteous men that avail themselves much.

Jas 5:19  If anyone among you goes astray from the truth, brothers, and anyone turns him back,

Jas 5:20  know that the one turning a sinner from the error of his way will save the soul from death, and will hide a multitude of sins.

This officer of the king is the trust we put into the Body of Christ as the watchmen and overseers of the flock of God.

Eph 3:7  Whereof I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given unto me by the effectual working of his power.

1Pe 4:10  As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.

The restoration of the land within ourselves comes when we are witnessing for Christ to the elect angels of Christ and throughout all the earth within and without.

Act 1:6  When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel?

Act 1:7  And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power.

Act 1:8  But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

I hope this study has reminded us that we struggle with many things and that we are clay in the Lord’s hands.  Everything is exactly on schedule for the Lord to finish His work and fully restore the land in the Kingdom of God within us.  It is our trusting in this Hope, despite all the signs contrary to that hope (our struggles with sin and the beast within) that will and IS saving us, if we endure to the end.

Rom 8:24  For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?

Rom 8:25  But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.

Rom 8:35  Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

Rom 8:36  As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.

Rom 8:37  Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

Faith Comes By Hearing

earsWhen we are given the gift of faith,  then and only then do our heavens and earth begin to hear the words of the Lord.  What a blessing.

Jer 22:29  O earth, earth, earth, hear the word of the LORD

Deu 32:1 Give ear, O ye heavens, and I will speak; and hear, O earth, the words of my mouth.

Isa 1:2 Hear, O heavens, and give ear, O earth: for the LORD hath spoken, I have nourished and brought up children, and they have rebelled against me.

To follow Christ we must be able to “hear” His words and obey His commandments.  Christ Himself must give us these ears as chosen by God.  Eventually, we all will be taught of God as we are given these ears to hear.

Joh 6:45 It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto me.

Yet God’s ways are not our ways.  The way to coming into the truth first leads through strong delusion.  This fact itself is a great deception that has ensnared many of God’s called people that are chosen but have not yet been given their spiritual ears. This deception which like all deception and of course ALL THINGS are ordained of God. We all will drink of strong delusion before we ever come to know the true Christ. THIS IS THE PREREQUISITE.

Deu 29:6 Ye have not eaten bread, neither have ye drunk wine or strong drink: that ye might know that I am the LORD your God.

Before we will know Him, we will first get drunk which is bible speak to living under strong delusion. When we first are drawn to Christ, all of us will initially fall backward and be ensnared in deception. To come out of Babylon, we all must first go into Babylon and we all do.

Isa 28:13 But the word of the LORD was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken.

One cannot simply pick up a Bible and give themselves ears to hear. That is what the church teaches but that is far from the truth. Still handing out Bibles and encouraging others to read it is a necessary path we all must take. We must first be drawn to Christ and learn about Him and this is often done with Bibles and the Babylon churches. They serve God’s purposes quite well.

Many of my former YouTube and Facebook friends have been greatly influenced by this deception or downright ensnared totally by it. That delusion is that hearing the voice of Christ is hearing a literal voice in your head. I am certainly not going to say God cannot literally speak an audible word to any man, as indeed He did in some of the Scripture events recorded for our admonition.

But when Christ spoke about hearing HIS WORD, He is speaking about being given the spiritual understanding. This takes God given ears to hear.

Mat 13:9 Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.

And lest you think we choose to hear, we do no such thing.  We are the clay and we are the works of His hands and even our ability to hear is all caused by the Lord.  That is why one can show Scripture such as this and the people in Babylon still don’t hear the word.

Jer 18:2 Arise, and go down to the potter’s house, and there I will cause thee to hear my words.

Psa 10:17 LORD, thou hast heard the desire of the humble: thou wilt prepare their heart, thou wilt cause thine ear to hear:

The Lord not only makes us hear, HE CAUSES US TO SEE.

Pro 20:12 The hearing ear, and the seeing eye, the LORD hath made even both of them.

Amazing how blind we are when we believe the lie that man has free will and it is up to us to save ourselves.  The Scriptures declare a completely different reality.  Here it is again.

Pro 1:23 Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you.

There is NO you do anything to make this happen.  It is all I WILL says the Lord.

Christ made the following statement which is an amazing powerful truth if one is given the depth of the understanding. The flesh profits it nothing, His words are SPIRIT and we must stop thinking about them with the limits of our natural carnal mind. Hearing things spiritually has little to do with the flesh and what is audible.

Joh 6:63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

Christ Himself spoke audibly to many people that it says even believed on HIM (John 8:31). These heard literal and audible words spoken by Christ as many did in all the parables. Yet they did not hear Christ, they heard nothing that He said and understood not anything. Christ told them plainly they were not of God and could not hear His word and were still of their father the devil

Joh 8:43 Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word.
Joh 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning.

Remember this was spoken to those that claimed His name and believed on Him! But they were not of God as Christ made clear.

Joh 8:47 He that is of God heareth God’s words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.

So believing on Christ and claiming His name and even audibly hearing His words does NOT mean someone has true ears to hear. That is only given to a man in the day and hour appointed by the Father. The mysteries of the Kingdom of God are indeed hidden wisdom that is purposefully hid from the carnal ears and minds of the many called of God. It is only revealed unto Babes in the times appointed.

1Co 2:7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:

Mat 11:25 At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes.

The mystery of how Christ is formed in us, the few there be that shall find it in this life, is called a mystery for good reason. It can only be revealed by faith given to us and thru the discernment of the Holy Spirit and the spiritual ears that come with it. This is why the truths of this gospel, even simple things like salvation for all and God working all things are rejected as heresy and foolishness by these carnal babes in Christ. There is no surprise to any of us that have been blessed with ears to hear.

1Co 2:13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
1Co 2:14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

This is done on purpose as God’s plan is to save the many thru the few. The Christ of Christ will be the saviors that will judge the world in righteousness in the future in the lake of fire. So to accomplish His plan, God purposefully blinds and makes deaf those that claim they see and say they hear but do not.

Joh 9:39 And Jesus said, For judgment I am come into this world, that they which see not might see; and that they which see might be made blind.

Only the chosen disciples are given the revelation in their appointed time. To them it is given to hear and to see. To everyone else it is not given. These are not Pete’s words, they are the words of Christ.

Mat 13:11 He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.
Mat 13:12 For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath.
Mat 13:13 Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.
Mat 13:14 And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive:

This sounds very arrogant to those outside of the covenant. But it is just a simple fact and nobody that does hear His WORD will boast in anything except to say they know the Lord, which is the definition of eternal life. In the face of great opposition to the true gospel, Christ has put His words in the mouths of HIS CHRIST which is HIS BODY. He has put these words of fire in our mouths and commands us to go speak them to the lost house of Israel. This lost house is the very ones that believe on Christ and think they already hear, just like those jews described in John 8.

Eze 2:7 And thou shalt speak my words unto them, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear: for they are most rebellious.

CHRIST speaks His words thru HIS CHRIST. Whether they hear or not we do not know. Yet we speak them anyway.

Jer 5:14 Wherefore thus saith the LORD God of hosts, Because ye speak this word, behold, I will make my words in thy mouth fire, and this people wood, and it shall devour them.

This is what doing the works of Christ is all about really. My last post was on this topic and the works of Christ is to speak His words and no longer in parables. The Christ of Christ speaks His words and ears prepared to hear them hear them in the day and hour appointed by the Father. This is what Christ wanted kindled on this earth and in our earths. HIS FIERY WORD THRU HIS BODY.

Luk 12:49 I am come to send fire on the earth; and what will I, if it be already kindled?

The stories of the prophets, of which the Elect are His prophets, are to go speak this word to the lost house of Israel. As His Father sent Christ, He also sends us (John 20:21).

Eze 3:4 And he said unto me, Son of man, go, get thee unto the house of Israel, and speak with my words unto them.
Eze 3:5 For thou art not sent to a people of a strange speech and of an hard language, but to the house of Israel;
Eze 3:6 Not to many people of a strange speech and of an hard language, whose words thou canst not understand. Surely, had I sent thee to them, they would have hearkened unto thee.
Eze 3:7 But the house of Israel will not hearken unto thee; for they will not hearken unto me: for all the house of Israel are impudent and hardhearted.

So my motive in speaking these words and these truths is to obey God who has commanded that we speak them. We will do it even though we are told very few will hear and the rest will reject us and eventually learn to hate us and speak all manner of evil about us.

2Pe 2:2 And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.

How much more Christ told, us we would be accused of being from Beelzebub given our Lord was accused of the same!

The Christ of Christ, the Elect will go speak these words of fire. And this is why we do it and how Jesus builds His church thru His Chirst. Paul made this clear that faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God.

Rom 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

But nobody will hear if THE CHRIST is not sent to speak these words. But we are sent thankfully and those appointed to hear will hear.

Rom 10:14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?
Rom 10:15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!

So hearing the words of Christ is not related to hearing a voice in your head. That is a great delusion that sadly has many horribly bound in deception. Some of this group even call the Bible the Mark of the Beast. They will even deny the Scriptures as not being the WORD OF GOD and only say the red letter in the gospels are the WORD of GOD. Such utter nonsense of the carnal mind.

The way of salvation is thru much judgment and great wrath. That day of judgment will not begin until we can first hear the word of God spiritually. It is the WORD that Jesus said will judge us in the last day of our carnal age. But until we are given ears to hear, our judgment cannot begin since we are spiritually dumb. I do not know who will be given ears to hear today, but I am hoping it will be some, maybe even some that read this message. If so, we give praises to the Lord who will have begun the process of bringing back to the fold one of His lost sheep.

There is a day coming Christ said, and is now for a few, when the dead shall hear and they shall rise to eternal life. Far greater blessing to have that day of judgment begin here and to be an active part of the Body of Christ.

Joh 5:25 Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live.

All of us, you and me will be SPIRITUALLY DEAD until the day we can hear the Spiritual words of Christ. Until HE gives us ears to hear. It is only those that have an ear to hear that will be the overcomers in this life as told to each of the 7 angels of the churches of revelation, which are all ONE CHURCH that is within us.  Being given ears to hear is required to overcome and receive the blessings that are promised to overcomers.

Rev 2:17 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it.

The Elect of God will continue to give food and drink to our enemies and those who oppose this gospel of good news for all. It is that food and drink that shall nourish the least of the brethren when they are given the blessing to hear this word.

If any man hears these words and believes them not, then they are not now being judged. But we all will be judged on the day we do begin to hear and how wonderful are the judgments of God, sweeter than honey and more desirable than gold.

Joh 12:47 And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.
Joh 12:48 He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.

I pray there are some earth’s within some folks that are beginning to hear these words.

Job 33:16 Then he openeth the ears of men, and sealeth their instruction

Can your heaven and your earth hear these words?

Isa 1:2 Hear, O heavens, and give ear, O earth: for the LORD hath spoken, I have nourished and brought up children, and they have rebelled against me.
