Being Raised With Christ Part 2

By Ayo Fabiyi,  Mitch Kuhn, Victor Torres, and Pete Wilson

Joh 5:26 For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself;

Joh 5:27 And hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man.

Joh 5:28 Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,

Joh 5:29 And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.

As has been emphasized recently, we must not think that any part of God’s word is not for us.  “In your days, will I say the word, and will perform it”, says the Lord (Eze 12:25).  The Father has given our Lord life in Himself and He is giving it to His elect in this age.  The Father has also given the Son the authority to execute judgment, and the Lord is indeed executing it in our days.  The hour has come that all in the graves within us shall come forth and they that have done good unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation [judgment].

We have seen last week how we live by the resurrection of damnation.  This is when we are raised from the sea to the earth.  The resurrection of damnation is not something to be applied to those evil people out there and is not something that will happen only in the future.  Most people who call Him Lord deny that they will live by those words. We all deny that we live by every Word of God until the Lord opens our eyes to the truth.

Let’s see how the Lord executes His judgment to those who call Him Lord.

Joh 9:39 And Jesus said, For judgment I am come into this world, that they which see not might see; and that they which see might be made blind.

The Lord is the best at doing both, giving sight to those who are blind, and blinding those who say they see.

Joh 12:40 He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them.

Let’s look at Joh 5:29 again.

Joh 5:29 And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.

They that have done evil shall come forth unto the resurrection of damnation!  Is there anyone exempted from that?  Is there anyone who has not done evil?

Rom 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

Ecc 7:20 For there is not a just man upon earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not.

Even our Lord who “knew no sin” was made sin for us, was born of a woman, born under the law, and partook of the resurrection of damnation because of His sinful flesh.  This seems so obvious to us once we are blessed with eyes to see, but that’s how strong the delusion is which God has sent to those who do not trust the Lord and lean on their own understanding. We must always remember that we too were once deceived and under strong delusion, and should not be proud but fear.

Rom 11:19 (ESV) Then you will say, “Branches were broken off so that I might be grafted in.”

Rom 11:20 (ESV) That is true. They were broken off because of their unbelief, but you stand fast through faith. So do not become proud, but fear.

All in Adam need to partake of the resurrection of damnation before they can partake of the resurrection of life in Christ.

1Co 15:22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.

His Resurrection, also known as the blessed and holy First Resurrection, is the end of all things when the word of God has been fulfilled in the hearts and minds of every man.  All the words of God when lived out bring us to the end and the receiving of this great reward where we are made partakers of His holiness.

Joh 11:25 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:

In God’s sight, only one resurrection matters. He does not count the “shadow”. He finds fault with it and it’s beneath His glory. He only ‘sees’ one.

Eph 4:4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;

Eph 4:5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism,

Eph 4:6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

When all the spiritually dead within every man are raised to life, death is no more, and God is all in all.

1Co 15:25 For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet.

1Co 15:26 The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.

This begins with an earnest deposit when faith is come and we grow into His fullness as more and more of the dead within us are destroyed in the lake of fire and Christ in us increases.

Rev 20:5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.

2Co 1:22 Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.

This is the good news, the gospel that we preach to all those that are dead (carnally minded) so that judgment can work its work of righteousness.  This better resurrection is the hope and the end of all things we soberly watch and patiently wait for the Lord to perform.

1Pe 4:6 For for this cause was the gospel preached also to them that are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit.

1Pe 4:7 But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.

The end of all things of the flesh is indeed at hand to those who are living according to God in the spirit.  The Lord sends His holy spirit to dwell in us with one purpose: to destroy our old man.

2Th 2:7  (BBE) For the secret of evil is even now at work: [within] but there is one who is keeping back the evil till he is taken out of the way.

2Th 2:8 And then will come the revelation of that evil one, whom the Lord Jesus will put to death with the breath of his mouth, and give to destruction by the revelation of his coming;

The “revelation of his coming” in our hearts simultaneously reveals our still wicked heart even after receiving the resurrection to condemnation. The process of the Lord Jesus putting to death our old man with the breath of His mouth, is the second death.

The wound of death that the Law brings to us is healed and we remain a beast as we live and abide in our resurrection of damnation.

Rev 13:11 (NKJV) Then I saw another beast coming up out of the earth, and he had two horns like a lamb and spoke like a dragon.

Rev 13:12 (NKJV) And he exercises all the authority of the first beast in his presence, and causes the earth and those who dwell in it to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.

The first covenant and our first raising up to the earth when given the Law, was not faultless and did nothing to purge our hearts and minds of evil.

Heb 8:7 For if that first covenant [=resurrection to damnation..] had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second. [= Resurrection of Life/ A better resurrection.]

Heb 8:8 For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah:[=for the New Man resurrected to Newness of Life]

A day and hour no man knows is appointed to every man when there is no more time for the lesser resurrection of damnation.  A time comes when the Word of God will be performed and that day is the day of the Lord.

2Ti 1:8 Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God;   Being a partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God is none other than being a partaker of the Second Death!

2Ti 1:9 Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,

2Ti 1:10 But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished [abolishing, aorist] death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel:

Apostle Paul is saying the same thing he said in the 2nd Thessalonians verses we read above, our Savior Jesus Christ has appeared in our hearts to destroy the carnal mind/all the evil that naturally resides in our hearts (Mar 7:21-23).

Psa 58:2 Yea, in heart ye work wickedness; ye weigh the violence of your hands in the earth.

Psa 58:3 The wicked are estranged from the womb: they go astray as soon as they be born, speaking lies.

The time for the better resurrection, to be raised to the Life of God was also shown to us by John.

Rev 10:5 And the angel which I saw stand upon the sea and  upon the earth lifted up his hand to heaven,

Rev 10: 6 And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer:

Rev 10:7 But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound,[in us!]  the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.

But the time is come in this age for the faithful Elect to partake of the better resurrection (in earnest or down payment), that is, to be perfected, raised by and into the Spirit of God.

1Co 15:42-So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:

1Co 15:43 It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:

1Co 15:44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.

The First Resurrection is the better resurrection that Paul and all disciples press onward and upward to obtain more fully in this age giving up all things and considering them dung.

Php 3:10 That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;

Php 3:11 If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.

“Being made conformable unto his death” is dying the Second Death, dying to our flesh and the carnal mind resident in it. Dying the Second Death is how we attain the resurrection to life, being made into His image.

On the other hand, being alive yet still being carnal does nothing to change our hearts and even those of old times pressed onward to obtain the resurrection to life that is now being made manifest in the saints.

Heb 11:35 Women received their dead raised  to life again: and others were tortured, not accepting deliverance; that they might obtain a better resurrection:

The word raised in the first part of Heb 11:35 is translated from the same Greek word translated resurrection in the same verse, as in the phrase “a better resurrection”.  The words “raised to life again” refers to the lesser resurrection of damnation, back to the realm of the flesh that works damnation!

Hebrews 11 talks about the faith of the patriarchs which is a shadow of the faith of Jesus Christ given to the saints.  Let’s look at how this chapter ends and see how blessed we are in this age if we are given the faith of Christ to live by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.

Heb 11:35 Women received their dead raised to life again: and others were tortured, not accepting deliverance; that they might obtain a better resurrection:

Heb 11:36 And others had trial of cruel mockings and scourgings, yea, moreover of bonds and imprisonment:

Heb 11:37 They were stoned, they were sawn asunder, were tempted, were slain with the sword: they wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins; being destitute, afflicted, tormented;

Heb 11:38 (Of whom the world was not worthy:) they wandered in deserts, and in mountains, and in dens and caves of the earth.

Heb 11:39 And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise:

Heb 11:40 God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect.

Why would the patriarchs listed in that chapter of Hebrews (Abel, Enoch, Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob), even those who did not accept deliverance hoping to obtain a better resurrection, “should not be made perfect [without us]”?

Because the law given to them cannot make them perfect.

Heb 10:1 For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect.

The law of Moses or the law of the Gentiles cannot make those who live under them perfect.  It is only through the better testament, through the new covenant that one can be made perfect.

Heb 7:22 By so much was Jesus made a surety of a better  testament.

Heb 12:24 And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.

The better resurrection can only be attained by living under a better covenant.  Living under this better covenant comes with better promises.

Heb 8:6 But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises

Heb 11:16 But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God:  for he hath prepared for them a city.

For the new covenant (testament) to take effect, there must be the death of the testator or the one making the covenant.  That maker of the covenant is Christ in us who dies to death (the second death) in order to be raised with power.

Heb 9:16 (NKJV) For where there is a testament, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator.

Heb 9:17 (NKJV) For a testament is in force after men are dead, since it has no power at all while the testator lives.

Heb 9:18 (NKJV) Therefore not even the first covenant was dedicated without blood.

These verses in Hebrews are dark sayings and parables that are simply saying that we must lose our life, the old man, in order to receive the life of Christ, the new covenant.

Joh 16:7 (NKJV) Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you.

Joh 16:8 (NKJV) And when He has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment.

Mat 16:24 (NKJV) Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me.

Mat 16:25 (NKJV) For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it.

What is the main difference between the old covenant and the new covenant?  The focus.

The old covenant is focused on outward righteousness, while the new covenant is focused on inward righteousness.

1Sa 16:7 But the LORD said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart.

Outward focus:

Mat 5:21 (ESV) “You have heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not murder; and whoever murders will be liable to judgment.’

Inward focus:

1Jn 3:15 Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer:  and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him.

Outward focus:

Mat 5:27 Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery:

Inward focus:

Mat 5:28 But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.

Outward focus:

Mat 5:33  (ESV) “Again you have heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not swear falsely, but shall perform to the Lord what you have sworn.

Inward focus:

Mat 5:34  (YLT) but I—I say to you, not to swear at all; neither by the heaven, because it is the throne of God,

Mat 5:37  (ERV) Say only ‘yes’ if you mean ‘yes,’ and say only ‘no’ if you mean ‘no.’ If you say more than that, it is from the Evil One.

When Christ comes to us by sending His holy spirit:

  • He will burn out the murderer within who hates his brother
  • He will burn out the whoremonger within who lusts after a woman in his heart
  • He will burn out the liar within who swears an oath but doesn’t mean it when he says yes or no.

Is there a verse that describes this burning out process of the man of sin, who is a murderer, a whoremonger and a liar, within us?

Rev 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

We know we are being baptized with fire if our main focus has shifted from outward righteousness to inward righteousness. We have gone past the baptism of water and have progressed to the baptism of fire if we now take heed to ourselves before we take heed of others.  God’s unquenchable fire is now kindled in our hearts if we remove the plank in our eye first before we try to remove the splinter in our brother’s eye.

A dear sister asked about this unquenchable fire and the answer further demonstrates to us that the elect must be mainly concerned on cleaning the inside of the cup.

Mat 3:11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:

Mat 3:12 Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner (barn); but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.

What chaff? We need not guess…

Mar 9:43 And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: …

Mar 9:44 Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.

Mar 9:45 And if thy foot offend thee, cut it off: …

Mar 9:46 Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.

Mar 9:47 And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out: it is better for thee to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into hell [=Gk: Gehenna] fire:

Mar 9:48 Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.

Mar 9:49  For every one shall be salted with fire, and every sacrifice shall be salted with salt.

Some men may be ignorant and thereby falsely conclude that “if you cut off the one offending hand… cut off the one offending foot..if only we can pluck out the one offending eye…then we will enter into life, (=resurrection to life) halt and maimed and we will then avoid being cast into that Gehenna fire!

The way you avoid anything in Scripture is by going through it.  That truth remains as true as ever.

Yes… we cannot get away from any “jot or tittle” of the word of the God.

Great in the kingdom of God do we become as all is being fulfilled in us. (Mat 5:19).

You are that [living] sacrifice on the altar. It’s not just one hand that causes offense… it’s not just one foot causing offense… it’s not just one eye causing offense!

Behold… the whole body of the old man is vile, sick and defiled.

Mar 7:21 For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders,

Mar 7:22 Thefts [=hands causing offense], covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness:

Mar 7:23 All these evil things come from within, and defile the man.

Hence the spirit calls it “the body of death”….”sinful flesh”… “the body of sin” that must be “salted with fire”, that is, destroyed.

Rom 6:6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.

As we’ve learned beforehand, the ALTAR is THE CROSS.

That’s where the destruction, salting with fire is taking place. We call that place also “Golgotha” where we are crucified with him, that is, cast into that fire…smoke and brimstone. Fulfilling His word, the Second death in us.

Joh 19:17 And he bearing his cross went forth into a place called the place of a skull, which is called in the Hebrew Golgotha:

Joh 19:18 Where they crucified him [Gal 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live…], and two other with him, on either side one, and Jesus in the midst.

Our body of sin and all unrighteousness, when crucified on the cross, becomes a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable unto God.

Rom 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

Rev 6:9 And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:

Let us keep this in our remembrance.  The word translated “hell fire” above is Gehenna fire… typical of the Lake of fire.  In Christ, the true light now shines and is no more a figure of something coming, but behold, the time is now for this unquenchable fire to be fulfilled in us.

Greek: γέεννα

Transliteration: geenna

Pronunciation: gheh’-en-nah

Definition: Of Hebrew origin ([H1516] and [H2011]); valley of (the son of) Hinnom; gehenna (or Ge-Hinnom) a valley of Jerusalem used (figuratively) as a name for the place (or state) of everlasting punishment: – hell. KJV Usage: hell (9x), hell fire (with G4442) (3x).

That unquenchable fire is the Gehenna fire that is fulfilled in who..?

Mar 9:49 For every one shall be salted with [=Gehenna] fire,  and every sacrifice shall be salted with salt.

“Every one”…. starting with….starting where?

Eze 20:47 And say to the forest of the south, Hear the word of the LORD; Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will kindle a fire in thee, and it shall devour every green tree in thee, and every dry tree: the flaming flame shall not be quenched, and all faces from the south to the north shall be burned therein.

Eze 20:48 And all flesh shall see that I the LORD have kindled it: it shall not be quenched.

“I will kindle a fire in you”.  “It shall devour every green tree [and every dry tree] in you”.  Where is all these taking place?

Eze 20:49 Then said I, Ah Lord GOD! they say of me, Doth he not speak parables?

The prophet is speaking in parables…How do we practically live this…? Where is all these being fulfilled?

2Th 1:10 When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day.

2Th 1:11 Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfil all the good pleasure of his goodness, and the work of faith with power:

“In his saints…in all them that believe…parables are about the kingdom of God…within” Brethren, this event is simply “the work of faith and power”….”the good pleasure of his goodness” being fulfilled in us.

2Th 1:12 That the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and ye in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Paul is revealing the deep things of God to us here. This event is how we begin to be raised from the dead… the Book of Revelation is simply a more comprehensive, deeper/darker parable of the same event.

It is the same spirit inspiring all who wrote the Scriptures.

1Co 12:11 But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man [Paul, Peter, John] severally as he will.

The one and selfsame spirit is not confused/divided.

1Co 12:25 That there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another.

This is HOW we become worthy of His calling. This is how we attain the high prize of His calling…. ONLY by the Lord working His good pleasure in us, in heaven.

The unquenchable fire is simply the flaming fire of Christ and his holy angels destroying the old man in us. This is the deep things of God working within the heart of man at their appointed time.

Rom 16:25 Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began,

Rom 16:26 But now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith:

As we are perfected in this better resurrection, we will be given power, dominion, and eternal life in earnest.  In due time, we will be kings and priests with Christ in the third harvest, as we perfect others and gather them into the Lord’s barn, that is, the First Resurrection for all men.

Rev 1:5 And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood, [by enduring our lake of fire and dying to death]

Rev 1:6 And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

All men get the same reward which is the prize of fulfilling the Word of God and living by every word. The Elect who are the chosen few, just get this reward of the better resurrection first. An earnest deposit that increases in this age and the fullness when given our spiritual bodies in the age to come.

Rev 20:5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.

The only variation for all men partaking of Christ’s Holiness by this First Resurrection is the order/sequence ordained by God.  Contrary to the lie of Babylon, the blessing for God’s people of eternal life is also given to those who will be saved in the third harvest.  We do get it first, and that should be enough motivation for us to strive for the prize of the high calling.  The Scriptures declare this Truth to those given eyes to see and ears to hear.

Eph 3:6 that the Gentiles should be fellow heirs, of the same body, and partakers of His promise in Christ through the gospel,

Act 15:9 And put no difference between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith.

Act 15:11 But we believe that through the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ we shall be saved, even as they.

The resurrection of life is not exclusive for the faithful elect, as much as the resurrection of damnation is not exclusive for those who are not faithful in their lifetime.  The whole world will be given eternal life which the Father has given to the Son.

Mat 20:14 Take what is yours and go your way. I wish to give to this last man the same as to you.

Joh 6:51 I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.

God puts no difference between the spiritual Jews and the spiritual Gentiles.  The Gentiles will be fellow heirs, of the same body, and partakers of His promise in Christ.  Most Christians have been blinded to this secret or mystery and instead believe in false doctrines of special rewards and lesser punishment for God’s faithful elect.  The Elect of God are unworthy  or unprofitable servants, working not for pay but merely doing our duty which is our reasonable service.

Luk 17:10 So likewise ye, when ye shall have done all those things which are commanded you, say, We are unprofitable servants: we have done that which was our duty to do.

We are to contend against all fleshly thoughts and beliefs that seek to exalt one group of people over another.

Jud 1:3 Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.

The Elect are blessed indeed being given the rewards first yet the rewards, our salvation which is the First Resurrection, is the same for all men when they are given faith.

Gen 15:1 After these things the word of the LORD came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward.

Gen 15:5 And he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, So shall thy seed be.

Gen 15:6 And he believed in the LORD; and he counted it to him for righteousness.

God is not a respecter of persons.  We all go through the same process.  We all do evil first and are raised unto the resurrection of damnation, before we do good and are raised unto the resurrection of life.  We are all fools first before we are made wise.  This is illustrated by the answer to a question asked by a dear brother regarding the parable of the ten virgins (Mat 25:1-13).

Ecc 2:14  (YLT) The wise! —his eyes are in his head, and the fool in darkness is walking, and I also knew that one event happeneth with them all;

That parable of the ten virgins concerns the kingdom of God, which again means it’s a living and active ONE EVENT within us.  We are the foolish before we become wise. That is God’s mode of operation. If we put the foolish on someone else, or postpone it to another age…then the Truth is gone.

Christ did not know us even when we did many wonderful works of the flesh, even had a lamp (Bible) but no oil, no spirit of discernment, no fruit of the spirit. It’s only by His spirit coming into us a second time without sin, (Heb 9:28) as a flaming unquenchable fire (2Th 1:7-10) that brings us to His wisdom, that is, raise us up to the third heaven where the Life of God resides.

Rom 8:9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ [=burning, consuming fire within], he is none of his.

To become wise, we have to go to them that sell oil. They that sell oil are the administrators of the Fire, who make up the Lake of fire. It is through the church, His Body that all men of all time will come and buy oil for their vessels/lamp.

Eph 3:10 (NKJV) to the intent that now the manifold wisdom of God might be made known by the church to the principalities and powers in the heavenly places [our heavens],

Eph 3:11 (NKJV) according to the eternal purpose which He accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord,

The church is made up of Christ’s holy angels/ministers who are as He is, in the form of fire.

Heb 1:7 And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire.

So no man can buy or even sell any of the oil, except they first had the mark of the beast. That is, except they’ve first experienced flesh and blood, being in the first Adam.

Rev 13:17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

Rev 3:18 (NKJV) I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see.

Only those that acknowledge they are beasts and in need of a physician will lose their life to gain life in Christ. We ‘sell’ all of our old carnal ways to ‘buy’ of God gold tried in the fire (the truth).

As is evident in our recent trials, we live every jot and tittle of that little book. When we “eat the book”, every sentence written therein becomes ours.

We’ve all been led in the foolish wisdom of men, raised to carrying the Bible in our hands (as religious beasts), raised to damnation and reserved unto fire for judgment of that great day of the Lord.

Tit 3:3 For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.

But after that, the bridegroom comes, the signified 1000 years have been fulfilled within…what happens next in less signified language:

Tit 3:4 But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared, And lest we boast of our Lord appearing in our hearts, we are told this in the very next verse:

Tit 3:5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved [=is saving, aorist] us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

As we are seeking how these are fulfilled in our lives NOW brethren, we know this is the same event in the book of Revelation. But not all are given to discern this wisdom at this time.  So in dark signified language, let’s see HOW that “kindness and love of God our Saviour toward us [= the five foolish virgins] appeared,..

Rev 14:9 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, [=five foolish virgins who are seeking to buy oil for their lamps]

Rev 14:10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: [=a process of knowing the manifold wisdom of God, chastening is not joyous to our foolish flesh..]

So as we go to “buy” the Spirit of Christ – And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name….. the beast and false prophet that caused us to remain in foolishness also has to be destroyed in the presence of the Lamb and His holy [= five wise virgins] angels…

Rev 19:20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. [=the 5 foolish..] These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.

Now here is Wisdom.

It is THROUGH the Lake of fire, that “one event unto all” in the presence of Christ and His Body/Church, that we attain the manifold wisdom of God. This is the Father’s age lasting purpose to all Men.

We cannot boast about anything!

We all have to buy oil and trim our lamps.

Once we undergo that buying process, from the sellers who once had the same mark/name/number as us, then it is FINISHED.  We have gotten victory over foolishness! (Death/Satan/Beast/Falsehood of the false prophets within us).

We become an OVERCOMER through the Lake of fire.

Then we can now say….

Rev 15:2 And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, [= the once five foolish virgins] stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God.

We become the New Man, the five wise with “the manifold wisdom of God” we “bought” from His holy angels (the Church), and can now say that we worship God in the spirit and truth, and have no confidence in the flesh, that is….we don’t worship the beasts..etc:

Rev 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ [=in our hearts and minds, living a life of righteousness]  a thousand years.

A thousand years signified is simply this plain saying brought out in the first part of this study:

2Co 4:16 For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, [=the five foolish virgins by that Lake of fire..] yet the inward man is renewed day by day. [=1000 year reign upon the earth]

As we begin to look inward instead of outward, we are not ignorant of this one thing anymore:

2Pe 3:8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

Signified 1000-year reign = practical living to us enlightened saints is simply…”the inward man is renewed day by day”.

It is through the breaking of bread with the church that we know the mind of the Lord.

Luk 24:35 And they told what things were done in the way, and how he was known of them in breaking of bread.

It’s our joy and crown of life.  We desire nothing else upon this earth, only to be counted worthy to walk with Him in white raiment.

Let’s look closely at Ecc 2:14 quoted above with the surrounding verses, and see how abundantly clear that these verses are witnessing to the ten virgins within us!

Ecc 2:12 And I turned myself [within] to behold wisdom, and madness, and folly…

The elect sees both wisdom and folly when we turn to ourselves within.

Ecc 2:12…for what can the man do that cometh after the king?   even that which hath been already done.

What can we do to follow after Christ?  Answer: To do what He has already done!  “Take up your cross and follow me”.

Ecc 2:13 Then I saw that wisdom excelleth folly, as far as light excelleth darkness.

If the holy spirit dwells in us, wisdom will indeed excel folly as far as light excels darkness.

Ecc 2:14 The wise man’s eyes are in [within] his head; [=the four beasts full of eyes within] but the fool walketh in darkness: and I myself perceived also that one event happeneth to them all [Yes, one event happens to both the 5 wise virgins and the 5 foolish virgins within us]

Ecc 2:15 Then said I in my heart, As it happeneth to the fool, so it happeneth even to me; and why was I then more wise? Then I said in my heart, that this also is vanity.

Amen, king Solomon, Amen!  It is vanity to think that we are more wise, we are more special than those who have not been given the holy spirit at this time.

Ecc 2:16 For there is no remembrance of the wise more than of the fool for ever; seeing that which now is in the days to come shall all be forgotten. And how dieth the wise man? as the fool.

Again, how does a wise man die? As the fool.

We all die by the sword before we can kill with it.

Mat 26:52 Then said Jesus unto him, Put up again thy sword into his place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword.

Rev 13:10 He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword…

What was the apostle John inspired to call this one event that happens to us all: going into captivity or being killed by the sword/the word of God?

Rev 13:10…Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.

This is our patience and faith, brethren, that our old man is being killed by God’s word in this age, as our new man is given spiritual life.

Mat 16:25  For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.

The elect are given spiritual life first, so we can in turn give it to others.  That is what the priests of God are doing to bring Christ to all.

Col 1:27 To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:

Col 1:28 Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; [as His Priests] that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus: [providing them  something better also, that is, “the Better Resurrection”]

Col 1:29 Whereunto I also labour, striving according to his working, which worketh in me mightily.

The resurrection unto life is an ongoing, living and active event in the life of the saints. As we read, hear and live His Word, we are passing from death unto the newness of life. Having the mind of Christ and partaking of the fruit of the spirit is partaking of the blessed and holy First Resurrection.   We are given the victory over spiritual death (sin and carnal mind) through our dying to death with our Lord.

1Co 15:54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.

Again, we must not put any verse we read into the future.  We are the dead in Christ who are rising first, from our earthly mindset to a spiritual mindset.  “Age lasting destruction” is the is, was and will be fulfillment of dying daily to the old man through that fiery trial.

1Pe 4:12 Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:

1Pe 4:13 But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ’s sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.

To be partaker of Christ’s sufferings is to be a partaker of the second death.

1Pe 4:14 If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified.

1Pe 4:15 But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men’s matters.

Fiery trials are not only being “reproached for the name of Christ” as the new man.  It also includes our old man suffering as a murderer [hating a brother], a thief [who kill, steal or destroy, Joh 10:10], as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men’s matters [seeing the fault of others but not willing to see the evil within them].

The Lake of Fire ushers in the first resurrection, being raised in the likeness of His Resurrection:

Rom 6:5-6 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:

Rom 6:6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.

Destruction of the old man is the only way to the resurrection of Life.

The life of Jesus manifesting in us is after being raised from our flesh, (via the destruction of death) when we no longer are walking after the flesh or under the Law.

Rom 8:10 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.

Rom 8:11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

This is an ongoing event as the unclean old man decreases and Christ in us increases (Joh 3:30). Paul talks of this event being fulfilled in our lives to the Ephesians also:

Eph 2:5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)

Eph 2:6 And hath raised us up together,  and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: [..the First, the Resurrection]

The death of the Cross is the spiritual event that must happen before being  RAISED to Life. “It is finished” is fulfilled when we are crucified with Him.

Joh 19:30  When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.

Joh 17:4 I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.

We must endure to the end of this crucifixion to be saved.  This is why we need each other and are connected in a Body, so we can be helped in our times of need.

We must be found faithful (Rev 17:14) in addition to being called and chosen to be in the second harvest, raised in glory with Christ with the fullness of the Spirit.

2Ti 4:7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:

2Ti 4:8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

The Cross is one and the same as the Lake of fire, that destroys the handwriting of ordinances of the letter used by the false prophets within us.  Being raised above, to the New Jerusalem where righteousness dwells, we strive to live the Life of Christ in us.

1Pe 1:15 But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;

1Pe 1:16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.

We are to live our life, with our affections not on the carnal flesh and attachments, but as in the first resurrection, in Christ in earnest, as already risen from the dead. Let us pay very close attention to when this blessed and holy resurrection is being fulfilled in the Saints.

Rom 5:21 That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness [=as Kings] unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.

Rom 6:19 I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members’ servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness.

Yielding our members servants to righteousness is partaking of the blessed and holy resurrection, it is reigning as Kings until it is ALL fulfilled.

Rom 6:21 What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death. [= LAKE OF FIRE, to destroy death.]

Rom 6:22  But now being made free from sin [resurrection to life], and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.

Those now being raised to the resurrection of life are also Priests and Kings now in down payment of the Spirit, not just in the “will be”, third harvest, outward fulfillment.

And this is how priests live when they walk in the spirit of life.

Mal 2:7 For the priest’s lips should keep knowledge, and they should seek the law at his mouth: for he is the messenger of the Lord of hosts.

We are warned and admonished not to forget the Law of Christ.

Col 3:1 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.

Col 3:2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth

Conclusion

We started by getting reminded that all Scriptures are profitable for us, so we must apply every single verse of the Bible in our life.

Then we saw how we partake of the resurrection of damnation, as we are given the law which becomes our righteousness.

Php 3:9 And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:

But the righteousness through the law cannot perfect us for it is just a shadow of good things to come, the better covenant.  We are perfected through the righteousness which is of God focusing on the inside.  We are now concerned with burning the rest of the dead within us as our new man is renewed day by day.

Brethren, let us beg the Father to count us among those whom He has predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son in our lifetime.

Rom 8:29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.

Rom 8:30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.

And to partake of the resurrection of life in our days in the flesh.

Rev 22:14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

We have received a great blessing as the Lord has chosen us and imparted faith to us in His Word.  Knowing this gospel requires us to die to death in order to be raised, we need to minister and to edify one another daily and encourage all to hold fast our new-found confidence all the way to the end.

Heb 3:12 Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.

Heb 3:13 But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.

Heb 3:14 For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end
