A Study for Women
Isa 26:3 Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.
As the Bride of Christ, His true wife, flesh of His flesh, and bones of His bones [Eph 5:30], we, are anxious for nothing and in everything through prayer and supplication with thanksgiving are making our requests known to our Husband. In today’s reflection we, prayerfully [the way we live our lives] consider and meditate upon Christ and His Christ ……
Php 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things
God, the Father, is causing us to present our thoughts, questions and prayer requests to Him through Christ and His Christ, lifting our burdens and clearing our minds from the worries of this life, Lord willing. Let us now consider and reflect upon the following Scriptures:
Col 4:2 Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving;
Lord, give us a new perspective, a positive outlook and a renewed relationship with the Christ you have given us as an inheritance [Col 1:12]. Only You are perfect and as we are being perfected, help us to see each other with new eyes, new appreciation, compassion, and acceptance. Teach us how to pray for our brethren and make our prayers a true prayer of love [walking out Your commandments] because we know we love your children when we are being obedient to your Word [1 John 5:2].
Gal 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Gal 5:23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
Lord, help us to be each other’s helpers, servants, friends, comforters, and supporters as we create a peaceful resting place being of one mind, to come home to. Teach us to maintain good works, a woman [the Body, your Church], who is rich in You [positive application] and humble in Spirit, the kind of woman you are proud of, a glorious Church without spot or wrinkle [Eph 5:27]. A Woman who loves much.
Psa 128:2 For thou shalt eat the labour of thine hands: happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee.
Lord, as Head over us, we pray that Your work is being established in us. Give us enough confidence in the gifts You distributed to us so that we are being able to uplift our brethren and those around us. Open doors of opportunity for us, doors no man can close, to do those works that are acceptable to you as You are the One causing all things. Show us how to uplift the weak and encourage them to use their gifts however small, so we are all being knitted together in love, the bond of perfection. Let us consider the weak and the small.
Ecc 5:19 Every man also to whom God hath given riches and wealth, and hath given him power to eat thereof, and to take his portion, and to rejoice in his labour; this is the gift of God.
Lord, give us the wisdom to handle knowledge [wealth] wisely as You are instructing us to do. Not adding or taking away from Your Word [Rev 22:18], so we can discern comparing spiritual with spiritual [1 Co 2:13], not having too much or too little [Prov 30:8] but staying on the narrow road. Help us to receive a full reward and our labour not be in vain but that we gather up treasures in heaven where the thief am not able to steal or destroy. Thank you for our double portion of You and Your people [Deut 32:9].
Psa 37:25 I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.
Lord, help us to remember that we belong to you and be grateful for it. Make us good stewards of all that You give us and walk in total agreement with You, having Your mind. Help us to live free of burdensome debt [being under the law], as we are being perfected day by day. Where we have not been wise, bring restoration and peace and gives us guidance as we are being renewed day by day.
Pro 5:15 Drink waters out of thine own cistern, and running waters out of thine own well.
Pro 5:16 Let thy fountains be dispersed abroad, and rivers of waters in the streets.
Pro 5:17 Let them be only thine own, and not strangers’ with thee.
Pro 5:18 Let thy fountain be blessed: and rejoice with the wife of thy youth.
Lord, we realize that an important part of our ministry is to come together often. Make this possible and make our relationship with each other continually new and alive as Your precious jewels [Son 7:1]. We pray that we are not tempted to seek another mind elsewhere but stay with what is written in Your Word [1 Co 4:6] .
2Co 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
Lord, please deliver us from the bondage of past mistakes. Remove from our midst [thoughts and deeds], that leads to spiritual fornication so that each of us knows how to possess our own vessels in sanctification and honor [1 Thess 4:4]. Let us redeem the time wisely and make time for You and Yours and discern the needs of others.
Php 2:1 If there be therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any bowels and mercies,
Php 2:2 Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.
Lord, help us to demonstrate how much we care for one another. Remind us throughout the day to affectionately touch each other in prayers, hearts, and minds. Enable us to show compassion to all because we know there is only One Lawgiver. Breakthrough any hard-headedness and that part that refuses to change and to grow because we know that it is You who raises us up, it is You doing all things [Eph 1:11].
Son 2:6 His left hand is under my head, and his right hand doth embrace me.
Lord, we pray that we always greet each other with a kiss of love [1 Pe 5:14] for Your love is better than wine [Son 1:2]. We know it is only through the Words that You speak to us [John 6:63] that we are being able to do this. We trust in You to transform us and make us the wife You called us to be, beautiful instruments of righteousness.
Psa 26:2 Examine me, O LORD, and prove me; try my reins and my heart.
Psa 26:3 For thy lovingkindness is before mine eyes: and I have walked in thy truth.
Lord, help us to thirst for You and to not follow another. Make us hungry for your Word and recognize the voice of a stranger. Help us to take every thought captive that exalts against You and Your Body. Be our shield and buckler LORD of Hosts [Ps 35:2] because Your way is perfect, and Your Word is tried [2 Sam 22:31].
Psa 27:1 A Psalm of David. The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?
Lord, we pray that You are perfecting us so that no fear takes place in us. Instead, we pray that Your Word is penetrating every fiber of our beings convincing us of the great love You have for us, far greater than anything we face in this world. We know nothing can separate us from Your love. We know You have given us not a spirit of fear but of power, love and a sound mind [2 Tim 1:7].
Psa 33:18 Behold, the eye of the LORD is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy;
Lord, give us this day a godly fear of You. Unite our hearts to fear Your Name [Ps 86:12]. Let us have no fear of men [lies]. Teach us Your ways and help us to walk in Your Truths. Let godly sorrow work repentance in us so we may be saved and we are being saved [2 Cor 7:10].
1Co 7:17 But as God hath distributed to every man, as the Lord hath called every one, so let him walk. And so ordain I in all churches.
Lord, when You call us, so You enable us. Enable us to walk worthy of our high calling and become sons of God whom You intended for us to be. Continue to remind us what You wants us to do and not to become side-tracked with the things of this world. Lift up our eyes and let us be reminded why we are into being, chosen before the foundation of the world [Eph 1:4]. You have chosen us to show judgment to the Gentiles and with us, You are well pleased [Matt 12:18].
Psa 20:4 Grant thee according to thine own heart, and fulfil all thy counsel.
Lord, we pray that our desires are becoming less important and less in conflict with Yours. May we seek for Your direction and hear when You speak to us. May our eyes be enlightened to see what the Hope is of our calling [Eph 1:18].
Job 5:8 I would seek unto God, and unto God would I commit my cause:
Lord, take foolishness out of our hearts and let us quickly recognize the error of our ways. Open our eyes to see clearly the anticipated behavior of fools. May we reverence You and Your ways and seek to know the truth as You are ordaining it.
Jas 1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
Jas 1:6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.
Lord, please instruct us while we are sleeping, so our hearts may awake and is awakening [Son 5:2]. We pray that we will do what is right and not follow after our own flesh. We know the wisdom of this world is foolishness to You. May we not buy into this worldly wisdom within and without but keep our eyes and ears focused on You and Your Christ [speaking of things if they already are].
3Jn 1:2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.
Lord, we pray that we are taking care of our bodies as you are causing us to do. May we eat food that is convenient for us [Prov 30:8] and rightly divide Your Word as to not stumble. Help us to deeply realize that our bodies [souls] are Your Temple and that You causes us to sacrifice it as holy and acceptable to You [Rom 12:1].
Jas 1:12 Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.
Lord, we pray that we will not be broken down by evil but being raised up by the power of God which is YOU, the Living Word, and all in whom You dwell. Fill us with Your Spirit and strengthen us to withstand temptation. Give us self-control as the precious fruit of the Spirit [Gal 5:22].
Psa 18:2 The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salv
Lord, please watch over us. Wherever we walk, secure our steps. Keep us in Your path so that our feet do not slip [Ps 17:5]. If our feet slip, uphold us with Your mercy [Ps 94:18]. Give us the wisdom and discretion that we walk safely and not fall into danger [Prov 3:21-23].
Psa 27:5 For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock.
Lord, we pray that You will always be our fortress, strength, and stronghold wherever we may be. Make us dwell in the shadow of Your wings. Be our Rock and salvation so that we are not being moved or shaken. Although bad things are happening all around us, we pray that it may not come near us.
Lam 3:22 It is of the LORD’S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. Lam 3:23 They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.
Lord, You have invited us to come boldly before Your throne [ Heb 4:16]. We come before Your throne and ask for grace [discipline] to strengthen our hearts and to give us patience as we wait on You. Help us to always rejoice in Hope, continuing steadfastly [Rom 12:12] because Your compassions fail not.
Psa 25:21 Let integrity and uprightness preserve me; for I wait on thee.
Lord, let us become a woman [Church] of great integrity. Be with us to bear witness to the truth, so that in times of pressure, we will and are acting with confidence. Bind mercy and truth around our necks and write them on the tables of our hearts so we may find favor and high esteem in the sight of God and men [Prov 3:3-4]. Give us a teachable Spirit that is willing to listen to the Voice of wisdom and to grow in Your ways.
Pro 22:4 By humility and the fear of the LORD are riches, and honour, and life.
Lord, we pray that we will and are bearing good fruit out of the goodness that is You in us, the Hope of Glory. May the fruit of the Spirit sweeten all our dealings as others behold how we are walking in this life. Arise Lord into Your resting place, and let us, your priests be clothed with Your salvation, and rejoice in goodness. [2Ch 6:41].
LORD, thank you for this time of refreshment of being in Your presence. AMEN.
