“The Sin Offering burnt without the Camp”

(Compiled from prior posted church studies)

OT Shadows

Does Christ appear to us still in “flesh and bone” still in sinful flesh (John 20:27), or does He appear to us as invisible Spirit? Only, when we can “see” Christ in invisible Spirit (without a physical body), IS He appearing to us, as His people, “a second time WITHOUT sin”. Then only are we able to “see” clearly and then only are we being able to see these “things that are made” in Rom 1:20 which include these OT SHADOWS which points to the SPIRITUAL REALITY as it is for us TODAY (1 Co 10:11 -12).

Rom 1:20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

And the more we understand “these things that are made”, the more we know God, the Father, and Jesus Christ, whom He has sent. This is age abiding life (eternal life).

Joh 17:3 And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.

Description of the Sin Offering:

In the Sin Offering, the Offerer, Christ and “His Christ” comes as a convicted sinner to receive judgement due to them. Christ Himself, without sin, took our sins upon Him (the sins of His people and all humanity), and we, in down payment form, takes up the sin for each other and of all humanity in due time.

Lev 4:2 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If a soul shall sin through ignorance against any of the commandments of the LORD concerning things which ought not to be done, and shall do against any of them:

Lev 4:3 If the priest that is anointed do sin according to the sin of the people; then let him bring for his sin, which he hath sinned, a young bullock without blemish unto the LORD for a sin offering …….

Lev 4:12 Even the whole bullock shall he carry forth without the camp unto a clean place, where the ashes are poured out, and burn him on the wood with fire: where the ashes are poured out shall he be burnt.

Lev 4:13 And if the whole congregation of Israel sin through ignorance, and the thing be hid from the eyes of the assembly, and they have done somewhat against any of the commandments of the LORD concerning things which should not be done, and are guilty;

Lev 4:14 When the sin, which they have sinned against it, is known, then the congregation shall offer a young bullock for the sin, and bring him before the tabernacle of the congregation ……

Lev 4:21 And he shall carry forth the bullock without the camp, and burn him as he burned the first bullock: it is a sin offering for the congregation.

Lev 4:22 When a ruler hath sinned, and done somewhat through ignorance against any of the commandments of the LORD his God concerning things which should not be done, and is guilty;

Lev 4:23 Or if his sin, wherein he hath sinned, come to his knowledge; he shall bring his offering, a kid of the goats, a male without blemish ….

Lev 4:27 And if any one of the common people sin through ignorance, while he doeth somewhat against any of the commandments of the LORD concerning things which ought not to be done, and be guilty;

Lev 4:28 Or if his sin, which he hath sinned, come to his knowledge: then he shall bring his offering, a kid of the goats, a female without blemish, for his sin which he hath sinned.

The word for Offering is not used when speaking of a Sin or Trespass Offering in Hebrew:

The only word that is used in Leviticus in connection with above mentioned Offerings (Sin & Trespass), is the same word we find in Gen 4:7

Gen 4:7 IfH518 thou doest well,H3190 shalt thou notH3808 be accepted?H7613 and ifH518 thou doest notH3808 well,H3190 sinH2403 liethH7257 at the door.H6607 And untoH413 thee shall be his desire,H8669 and thouH859 shalt ruleH4910 over him.

H2403: khat-taw-aw’, khat-tawth’

From H2398; an offence (sometimes habitual sinfulness), and its penalty, occasion, sacrifice, or expiation; also (concretely) an offender: – punishment (of sin), purifying (-fication for sin), sin (-ner, offering).

All the Hebrew is saying is “sin”. It is not saying “Sin Offering”.

There is a word for Offering in Hebrew which we find in Lev 1:2.

Lev 1:2 SpeakH1696 untoH413 the childrenH1121 of Israel,H3478 and sayH559 untoH413 them, IfH3588 any manH120 ofH4480 you bringH7126 an offeringH7133 unto the LORD,H3068 ye shall bringH7126 (H853) your offeringH7133 ofH4480 the cattle,H929 even ofH4480 the herd,H1241 and ofH4480 the flock.H6629

The conclusion we come to, is that the Spirit wants us to know that when it is referring to a Sin Offering in Leviticus, although offering is understood, it only uses the word for sin so that we may focus on “sin”. In this study, we will talk about the Sin Offering, to make it easier as long as we know, in Hebrew it is speaking only of Sin H2403.

So, what is Sin?

1Jn 3:4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.

All the Sin of the world is found in:

1Jn 2:16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

This Offering is not a sweet-smelling Offering:

All the Offerings do not mention Sin except the Sin and Trespass Offerings. The other Offerings are necessary Offerings to approach God. The Sin and Trespass Offerings deals with confessed and judged sin which are exceedingly sinful, hateful and rebellious towards God.

Rom 8:7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.

The sweet-smelling Offerings is burnt on God’s altar and are accepted of the Father. The Sin and Trespass Offerings was and IS not accepted of the Father. Christ is both a sweet smell savour (Burnt-, Meat-and Peace Offerings) and a non-sweet smell savour (Sin and Trespass Offerings), because He is the First and the Last.

Eph 5:2 And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling savour.

1Jn 2:2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

Different Details

The details given in this Offering, are far more varied than in any other sweet smelling Offering. The details given of how to cut and separate the parts of the animal, where the parts are to be placed, and about who gets which part of the Offering at all in the three grades of this Offering signify the depths of perception the Offerer has of Christ in His various functions.

Here we see the emphasis in the person of the Offerer, in the Trespass Offering we see the different trespasses.

In this Offering, there are different people/Offerers who offers this Offering:

We have the Offering for the anointed priest.

We have the Offering for the whole congregation.

We have the Offering for the ruler.

We have the Offering for one of the common people.

We have the Offering for specific sins.

The different varieties of the Offerer is symbolic of the work of Christ and “His Christ” in their functions of making atonement, that is being judged.

This Offering is not burnt upon the Altar of God:

This Offering is burnt on wood on the bare ground with fire, where the ashes are poured out.

Lev 4:11 And the skin of the bullock, and all his flesh, with his head, and with his legs, and his inwards, and his dung,

Lev 4:12 Even the whole bullock shall he carry forth without the camp unto a clean place, where the ashes are poured out, and burn him on the wood with fire: where the ashes are poured out shall he be burnt.

Christ suffered without the camp, and so it is for US.  It is a burning fiery experience burning out all the wood, hay and stubble, without the camp which signifies OUR rejection as well. We are cast out of the presence of God, enduring judgement now.

Heb 13:11 For the bodies of those beasts, whose blood is brought into the sanctuary by the high priest for sin, are burned without the camp.

Heb 13:12 Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate.

Heb 13:13 Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach.

1Co 3:13 Every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is.

The SIN Offering differs from a TRESSPASS Offering:

In the Sin Offering no specific Sin is mentioned. This Offering speaks of Sin in general, being done in ignorance and we are BEING JUDGED when we see the need for a Savior, making an Offering for what we ARE.

2Th 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

2Th 2:4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

How was Christ made Sin?

2Co 5:21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

Christ was made of a woman, “shapen in iniquity” (Ps 51:5).

Psa 51:5 Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.

Christ was made under the Law, a servant, in the likeness of men.

Php 2:7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:

Php 2:8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

We are shapen in iniquity born into this world under the law.

Rom 8:20 For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope,

Gal 3:23 But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed.

Gal 3:24 Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.

Christ came in sinful flesh:

Rom 8:3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:

Php 2:7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:

Christ was made a curse for us:

Deu 21:22 And if a man have committed a sin worthy of death, and he be to be put to death, and thou hang him on a tree:

Deu 21:23 His body shall not remain all night upon the tree, but thou shalt in any wise bury him that day; (for he that is hanged is accursed of God;) that thy land be not defiled, which the LORD thy God giveth thee for an inheritance.

Christ never committed a sin worthy of death, yet He was accursed of God, the Father. We and all of humanity, on the other hand, are guilty:

Rom 5:12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:

Rom 5:14 Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam’s transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come.

Christ was without blemish and knew no sin:

Christ, the Anointed Priest, was without sin, only an animal without blemish could be used for the Sin Offering. He was rejected of man and God, the Father, yet without blemish.

Lev 4:2 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If a soul shall sin through ignorance against any of the commandments of the LORD concerning things which ought not to be done, and shall do against any of them:

Lev 4:3 If the priest that is anointed do sin according to the sin of the people; then let him bring for his sin, which he hath sinned, a young bullock without blemish unto the LORD for a sin offering.

1Pe 1:18 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;

1Pe 1:19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:

We are being made without spot or blemish through Christ and “His Christ”, because we are the fullness of Him that fills all in all (Eph 1:23).

Eph 5:25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;

Eph 5:26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,

Eph 5:27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

The Fat:

The fat of the Sin Offering, was burnt upon the altar of God, to signify that the Offering through made a sin bearer, was perfect in itself. But the Body of the victim “even the whole bullock” was cast forth outside the camp. The fat belongs to God alone (Lev 4:8-12) as we have seen in a previous study.

The Blood:

The blood is sprinkled on both the brazen and golden altars (purified) by the priests. Blood being shed within is symbolic of and means the death of the old man so that the renewed mindset can come forth. It refers to Christ, as Mediator, of the renewed Covenant, which are His Words (John 6:63).

Heb 9:15 And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.

Heb 9:16 For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator.

Heb 9:17 For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth.

Did the Father forsook Christ?

Mat 27:46 And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?

Isa 53:10  Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand.

We are being forsaken when being judged “is, was and will be” in our Day of the Lord:

Joh 16:16 A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see me, because I go to the Father.

And the reason for all this?

We are being brought near through Him. WITHIN, the “mixed multitudes” symbolic for “gentiles, emotions, soul” etc. are being brought near as He increases (the man-child, the new man) and we decrease (the old man, the synagogue of Satan). A Fiery PROCESS to the end.

Eph 2:12 That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:

Eph 2:13 But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.

Eph 2:14 For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;

It pleased God, the Father, to bruise Christ:

Isa 53:3 He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.

Isa 53:4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.

Christ’s coming in sinful flesh is all being predestined by the Father.

Rev 13:8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

We are being bruised, dying daily to self. We studied this out in the Meat Offering.

Luk 4:18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,

1Co 15:31 I protest by your rejoicing which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily.

Are we like Christ in down payment form?

Rom 6:5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:

God, the Father, has a predestined plan for all of mankind:

Act 4:27 For of a truth against thy holy child Jesus, whom thou hast anointed, both Herod, and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles, and the people of Israel, were gathered together,

Act 4:28 For to do whatsoever thy hand and thy counsel determined before to be done.

Eph 1:11 In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:

Eph 1:12 That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.

In other words, we are the first of His creatures being judged now whilst in vessels of clay.

1Pe 4:6 For for this cause was the gospel preached also to them that are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit.

1Pe 4:17 For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?

Our part, the journey ahead:

1Jn 3:2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

The Sin Offering is great joy to us because:

Through Christ we are being raised “is, was and will be”, BEING SAVED if we endure to the end, abiding in Him

Mat 24:13  But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

Joh 8:31  Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;
Joh 8:32  And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

Act 13:39 And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.

Col 2:13 And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;

Col 2:14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;

Col 2:15 And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.

Like Christ, we lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters so that they may be sanctified.

2Co 4:11 For we which live are always delivered unto death for Jesus’ sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh.

2Co 4:12 So then death worketh in us, but life in you.

Ashes:

The Sin Offering is burned on the ground, which ground we are, the ashes are used for PURIFICATION, which is how we are BEING USED once The Lord has burned out all that should be burned out!

Num 19:9 And a man that is clean shall gather up the ashes of the heifer, and lay them up without the camp in a clean place, and it shall be kept for the congregation of the children of Israel for a water of separation: it is a purification for sin.

Num 19:10 And he that gathereth the ashes of the heifer shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the even: and it shall be unto the children of Israel, and unto the stranger that sojourneth among them, for a statute forever.

Num 19:11 He that toucheth the dead body of any man shall be unclean seven days.

Num 19:12 He shall purify himself with it on the third day, and on the seventh day he shall be clean: but if he purify not himself the third day, then the seventh day he shall not be clean.

Num 19:13 Whosoever toucheth the dead body of any man that is dead, and purifieth not himself, defileth the tabernacle of the LORD; and that soul shall be cut off from Israel: because the water of separation was not sprinkled upon him, he shall be unclean; his uncleanness is yet upon him.

The ashes typify the FIRE of God’s Word in Christ, and through Him in us, which produces these ashes. It is through these ashes of Christ’s Body, that we are BEING purified. Through our burnt-up ashes, the rest of all humanity one day will come in, first for us within and then without.

Rom 11:30 For as ye in times past have not believed God, yet have now obtained mercy through their unbelief:

Rom 11:31 Even so have these also now not believed, that through your mercy they also may obtain mercy.

Rom 11:32 For God hath concluded them all in unbelief, that he might have mercy upon all.

The choosing of Christ’s sons, is at the expense of the many called but not chosen and the salvation of the many called, is by the channel of the mercy of the few chosen “the ashes of the red heifer” Christ and “His Christ”.  Only the faithful remains, Christ and His sons, within and without, the faithful WITNESS.

Rev 3:14 And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;

Heb 12:1 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,

Summary:

This Offering is for what we ARE. Christ, our Savior, was made sin for what we ARE. Christ and “His Christ”, while in vessels of clay, was and is made of corruptible dust. We are sinfully NAKED when we are born, marred in the Hands of the Potter, shapen in inequity and conceived in sin.

Rom 8:20 For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope,

We are made of a woman, made under the law. We all ARE, sinful flesh and flesh and blood cannot inherit the Kingdom of God.

Rom 8:8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.

We are all these things whilst in our mother’s womb, having done neither good or evil:

Rom 9:11 (For the children being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him that calleth;)

Even Christ’s flesh was sinful flesh and was considered not good.  All flesh misses the mark and is a temporary dwelling status until the Lord remakes all mankind.

Mar 10:18 And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God.

Jer 18:4 And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter: so he made it again another vessel, as seemed good to the potter to make it.

1Co 15:50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.

All who physically die must come to see that death is the death of the first Adam. Christ nor WE are saved from the death of the cross, His altar, which is the Way to Life. We fall short of the manifestation of the sons of God with the spiritual bodies which come after the natural bodies. If Christ was not sinful flesh, He could not experience DEATH and be resurrected again.

We need an Offering for what We ARE and for what God, the Father, MADE Christ. We see Christ as a trespass Offering long before we see Him as a Sin Offering. When we come to see that we are shapen in iniquity, a burden IS BEING lifted because the price for sin has been paid. Here is where we now stand with Christ, “His Christ” and the Father:

1Jn 4:16 And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.

1Jn 4:17 Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.

  1. Justin, Your comment did not edify as no specific details were offered with regards to the criticism of the picture. The inference in your comment was that the details of the physical temple were of paramount importance. Such thinking misses the entire message of this article and what the Bible teaches. It was never about a physical temple, back then or even now or in the future. It has always been about a SPIRITUAL temple, which temple the Lord’s chosen people are.

Act 7:47 But Solomon built him an house.
Act 7:48 Howbeit the most High dwelleth not in temples made with hands; as saith the prophet,
Act 7:49 Heaven is my throne, and earth is my footstool: what house will ye build me? saith the Lord: or what is the place of my rest?
Act 7:50 Hath not my hand made all these things?

Heaven and earth are not places out there, they are in there, in the kingdom of God within every man. That is where the temple of the Lord is and where He dwells in the midst of His people.

1Co 3:16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
1Co 3:17 If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.

The picture shown is a proper representation of the SPIRITUAL message this post of the SIN OFFERING was making. This offering which is our fleshly bodies, is burned outside the camp. None of these are physical statements. I hope you begin to realize that every word in the bible is speaking of things in the spiritual. His words are spirit, they are not about literal things nor flesh and blood.

Joh 6:63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

2Co 3:6 Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.

But only those chosen of God are given ears to hear and eyes to see and they care gifts that come to those the Lord is judging in this age.

Pro 20:12 The hearing ear, and the seeing eye, the LORD hath made even both of them.

Do you realize that the entire Old Testament, including all the prophets (Moses, Joshua, Isaiah, etc) was written NOT FOR THE PHYSICAL JEWS that live back then but for the Elect who would appear on the scene at Pentecost and be in every generation since. Peter states this point blank right here. This is a HUGE point of truth one must grasp to understand the OT and the Bible.

1Pe 1:9 Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.
1Pe 1:10 Of which salvation the prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you:
1Pe 1:11 Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow.
1Pe 1:12 Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into.

Paul also tells us of this mystery when he tells us about all those stories of physical Israel and what was their true purpose.

1Co 10:11 Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.

The Lord has not changed. All of His words are spoken in parables and in hidden wisdom that carnal eyes and ears CANNOT understand without it being given by the Lord.

Hos 12:10 I have also spoken by the prophets, and I have multiplied visions, and used similitudes (PARABLES), by the ministry of the prophets.

1Co 2:7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:

The Lord Himself spoke of this mystery about who hears and sees and who does not. He speaks in parables, He had His written in parables to hide the meaning from the masses that claim they see and only reveals it to the few He chooses (His disciples).

Mat 13:9 Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.
Mat 13:10 And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables?
Mat 13:11 He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.
Mat 13:12 For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath.
Mat 13:13 Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.
Mat 13:14 And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive:
Mat 13:15 For this people’s heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.
Mat 13:16 But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear.
Mat 13:17 For verily I say unto you, That many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them.
I need to decipher as all of the Lord’s people, who hears and who does not. So I am hoping you will be entreatable and learn something here and then we can have a edifying dialog. But make no mistake if someone does not understand, that too is the Lord’s doing and those who know the truth are not to engage in arguments over clear and established truths that so very precious few (Mat 22:14) are given to understand.

Rom 11:7 What then? Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded
Rom 11:8 (According as it is written, God hath given them the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear;) unto this day.

A focus on the outward temple is usually a sign one is ensnared in the false doctrine that the flesh Jews are God’s people. Such is not the case and that is a deception that deceives billions to this day. Here is who is a real Jew and to whom all those words about the five offerings were written.

Rom 2:28 For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh:
Rom 2:29 But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

This post may benefit you to clear up who is the Israel of God. The Lost House of Israel
The Lord has been building His Temple and building His Church since Pentecost and that is all being done in the SPIRIT, in the kingdom of God within His people.

Luk 17:20 And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:
Luk 17:21 Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.

The Lord tells us of this mystery several places in the gospels.

Joh 2:19 Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.
Joh 2:20 Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days?
Joh 2:21 But he spake of the temple of his body.

What is His Body? We don’t have to guess. The Lord dwells in a body of flesh today, His people, His Church which I am a member by His divine calling and election.

Eph 5:30 For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.

Col 2:11 In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ:

I hope you understand some of these basic pillars of truth. If not then we will not be able to discuss doctrines and things of the Lord.

1Jn 4:6 We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.

2Jn 1:9 Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.
2Jn 1:10 If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:
2Jn 1:11 For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.

I have fed you with truth and whether you can receive it or not, is up to the Lord. Let me know what you think if you are so led.

    A Servant in Christ, Pete

  2. While I can appreciate a commitment to the interpretation of scripture, images that poorly follow suite reinforce false teachings that have proven effective in deceiving the masses. The temple visualized in your post is biblically inaccurate and consistent with images that characterize our God as foolish in his creative and constructive design. An accurate visual of the temple creates a powerful image and reminder of the awesome nature and grace of our heavenly Father. Yes, a picture is worth 1000 words, we would be wise to remember this truth in teaching others responsibly.
