The “Whosoever Will” Gospel of Faith

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

rivers of lifeJoh 6:35 And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.

The “whosoever will” gospel of carnal man and BABYLON uses only part of the word of God to support its false doctrine of man’s free will. It’s entire understanding of the gospel and who Christ is, is all based on a big fat lie called the free will of man. It is nothing more than the exaltation of man and the bringing down of God and Christ.

Verses like this are thrown around and used to be of their own interpretation even though it contradicts other scriptures.

Joh 4:14 But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.

Luk 9:24 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it.

Luk 7:23 And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me.

The reality is that the whole counsel of God is truth. The SUM, not some of the word is truth. The carnal mind will only see in the Scriptures what the idols of its heart want it to see as God works those very idols in our lives. The carnal mind cannot understand, appreciate and much less apply this verse of Scripture.

2Pe 1:20 knowing this first, that no prophecy of scripture at all is becoming its own explanation.”

Scripture interprets Scripture. Beware if and when Scripture becomes its own explanation and is used to the exclusion of other Scriptures to promote a false doctrine. The free will of man is an easy one to spot understanding this principle. While we see that only those who drink of living waters, and lose their life shall save it, what the carnal mind fails to consider are the many Scriptures that tell us it is God who gives us the very desires of our heart. It is God who is making His will in our lives play out daily. There is no contradiction, whomsoever will means those that God has willed it to be as HE is working all things for the counsel of HIS will. It is not up to man to do anything.

Php 2:13 For it is God (it’s not you or your delusion of free will) which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.

Rom 9:15 For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.
Rom 9:16 So then it is not of him that willeth (it’s not you choosing), nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.

Joh 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
Joh 1:13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man (It is not you), but of God.

IT IS NEVER THE WILL OF ANY MAN. It is always God’s WILL.  His will is what is always done.  Almighty God is not depending on you, me or anyone to get HIS will done which ultimately is for all men to be saved.

2Pe 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

God is not a situational Potter.  He is either the Potter and you are the clay all the time or else you do not believe the Scripture that tell us HE is the potter.  He is doing ALL THINGS to shape and mold us and yes that includes evil things.

Isa 64:8 But now, O LORD, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand.

Isa 63:17  O LORD, why hast thou made us to err from thy ways, and hardened our heart from thy fear?

All will come to repentance. Whosoever will, will ultimately be all men.  The Lord is working all things, even those things.  This is Crystal clear in hundreds of bold Scriptures that the natural man cannot receive the revelation.

Pro 16:9 A man’s heart deviseth his way: but the LORD directeth his steps.

Pro 20:24 Man’s goings are of the LORD; how can a man then understand his own way?

Jer 10:23 O LORD, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps.

Joh 6:44 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me drag him: and I will raise him up at the last day.

So which Scripture is true? Is Luke 9:24 true that says the only ones saved will lose their life or is Phil 2:13 true which says God is doing all things and causing us to do what we do?

They are both true. “Whosoever will” simply refers to those that God has ordained to do those things. All the days of our lives have already been written before there were even any days. That means before the foundation of the world.  This is a hugely powerful Scripture if one is given the eyes to see and ears to hear what it is really saying.

Psa 139:16 Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.

God is working and is causing all things. He is the one who causes us to obey Him and to keep His statutes. It is not us, it is God.

Eze 36:27 And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.

You need to come to know that grace, the chastening grace of the Lord is not outflanked by sin. Where sin increases, grace increases even more and the fire of God will ultimately prevail and sin will be purged.  Those believing the lies of the harlot, including eternal punishment know not the grace of God, they certainly don’t walk in faith and they clearly don’t believe this verse.  Their god is a pathetic loser.

Rom 5:20 Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:

Part of the trial of God’s Elect is living among many religious types who while they preach holiness also teach unbelief with their gospel that has God losing the battle to sin and most of creation being burned in eternal torment.  Such folly.  The Lord is our Shepherd, and if our time has come, He does not ask us nicely and hope we will obey, HE MAKES us lie down in green pasture.

Psa 23:2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.

When the ROCK falls upon God’s Elect, there is no choice in the manner. His will is being done and we will be made to go along with the program of salvation. There is no free will choice in the matter.  We don’t choose to have the ROCK fall upon us much less to have that ROCK grind us to powder.  Yet only those upon whom this happens are being saved in this life.

Mat 21:44 And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.

The real God and true Christ is all powerful and is not dependent upon pieces of clay to make sure His will happens. Such thinking is utter nonsense yet is the basis for the false doctrines of Babylon. it is the prideful beast of the carnal man, all of us, you and me included, that will resist the truth and want to claim it saves itself and that man does have free will to choose. This is because the beast within considers himself/herself a good person that believes they by their own choosing make themselves righteous and holy before the Lord. But here is the truth.

Rom 3:10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
Rom 3:11 There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.
Rom 3:12 They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.

Ecc 7:20 For there is not a just man on earth who does good And does not sin.

And the kicker is this one.  All men are beasts.  Salvation only comes to us when the Lord reveals this to us at the deepest level and we realize we are the abomination that is causing desolation, sitting in the temple of God proclaiming ourselves as god.

Ecc 3:18 I said in mine heart concerning the estate of the sons of men, that God might manifest them, and that they might see that they themselves are beasts.

It is a blessing when we are given to see this truth.  That is because Christ said that when you see this, that His coming is nigh at the very door.

Mat 24:32Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:
Mat 24:33So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.
Mat 24:34Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.

This is not speaking about the end of the “world”, it is speaking about the end of the “age” (AION).  This is the end of our walking as carnal babes without the Spirit of God.  This is the working of salvation to God’s Elect now thru the judgment of God against our old man and carnal nature.  What a blessing it is, sweeter than honey and more desirable than gold as David wrote in Psalm 19,

God needs nothing from man, He as already determined the boundaries of our habitation, and has declared each and every day and what will happen. We are merely the clay in the hands of the Potter, but few are given to have the faith to believe the truth.

Act 17:24 God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands;
Act 17:25 Neither is worshipped with men’s hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things;
Act 17:26 And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;

The Father drags us to Christ in our appointed times.  We are given the gift of the faith of Christ and the hunger and thirst for righteousness is planted in our hearts.  This is all the work of God and that hunger and thirst is satisfied by the revelation of Jesus Christ and His true doctrines.

Joh 6:35 And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.

May the sheep the Lord has led to this site, receive and hear these words.

Your brother, awakened to truth by God’s mercy, now proclaiming His truths with joy,

Pete

  1. Having been given the gift to know the truths of God’s ways and salvation, I boldly speak these words knowing that most will reject them yet a few sheep will hear and be nourished. God’s Elect are His priests and the very pillars that make up the gates to enter into the temple that is Christ. That is why we rejoice and preach these things with all boldness. But it is sad when many that say they believe and call themselves by Christ’s name, preach unbelief with their false doctrines and other jesus’s. That man is a spiritual being, an immortal soul who has free will is an insidious lie that is contrary to sound doctrine. Paul dealt with it as all of God’s Elect will in our time.

1Co 15:11 Therefore whether it were I or they, so we preach, and so ye believed.
1Co 15:12 Now if Christ be preached that he rose from the dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead?
1Co 15:13 But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen:
1Co 15:14 And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain.

The resurrection of the dead and the elimination of death and hades (the grave) is the fulfillment of the mission of Christ. He will rule until these last two enemies are put under His feet and all men shall be alive in Christ. The sea, which is a symbol for the flesh of all men will give up all of its dead as will hades (the grave, the word translated wrongly as hell) and these death and hell will be tossed into the lake of fire and this is how all men shall be saved. The fire of God and this lake of fire will be the vehicle by which God will save all men at the 2nd resurrection.

Rev 20:13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
Rev 20:14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
Rev 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

Few are given the faith of Christ to believe the true gospel. But I do hope and I know that some will rejoice with me and believe these words and know that our loving Father has purposes only to prosper us and we just need to rest in that and wait upon the Lord to fulfill His word and covenant promises.

1Co 15:15 Yea, and we are found false witnesses of God; because we have testified of God that he raised up Christ: whom he raised not up, if so be that the dead rise not.
1Co 15:16 For if the dead rise not, then is not Christ raised:
1Co 15:17 And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins.
1Co 15:18 Then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished.
1Co 15:19 If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.

Those that do not believe the gospel have no hope in Christ beyond this life are most miserable and know not the peace that transcends all understanding that can only be known by the revelation of Jesus Christ to them in their appointed times.

  2. It is a false teaching of carnal men that says we are spiritual beings having a physical experience. We are dust and to dust we shall return.

Gen 3:19 In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.

God who is the Potter will make two vessels out of the dust that we all are. The earth, this dust is the clay of which we are made. But first we come as a marred vessel, in this body of flesh, made of the dust and this vessel cannot inherit the kingdom of God.

Jer 18:3 Then I went down to the potter’s house, and, behold, he wrought a work on the wheels.
Jer 18:4 And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter: so he made it again another vessel, as seemed good to the potter to make it.

The marred vessel of dishonor must be remade into the vessel of honor. Only a few will, God’s Elect will see that in a down payment form only in this life. But all men will see it the end as all men will be saved and that is the very meaning of salvation to be remade and pure of all sin.

Rom 9:21 Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour?

An as Romans 9 and scores of other places make perfectly clear for those with ears to hear, it matters not about the delusion of man’s free will. This all occurs according to God’s will not the piece of clay.

Rom 9:15 For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.
Rom 9:16 So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.

IT IS NOT MANS FREE WILL so say the Scripture. Free will is strong delusion that only a few given faith will ever get past. When we are given the mind of Christ and the ability to hear the words in the Spirit we will understand this two step process. Jesus was the alpha (first Adam) and the Omega (the last Adam). We too will be the first Adam, coming first in a marred vessel of sinful flesh and then we too shall die and only upon the resurrection will we be spiritual beings. Before that time we are flesh and blood that cannot inherit the kingdom except in an earnest deposit. We must wait upon the Lord and the resurrection of the dead when all things will be remade and all men shall be saved. If you don’t believe this, you don’t believe the gospel.

1 cor 15 is a powerful chapter that captures God’s plans for the ages thru Christ to save all men. It explains the two step process of us first being the natural man, the first Adam, the man of flesh. We all have sinned and this man and its soul shall die just as the Scriptures state. But our faith is that even though we die, we shall live in the order and sequence ordained by the Lord.

1Co 15:20 But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.
1Co 15:21 For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.

1Co 15:22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.

1Co 15:23 But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ’s at his coming.

Don’t let anyone deceive you with this spiritual being stuff. We are all dust, we are all of the earth. it was the plan of God all along to destroy that first vessel, that first Adam and then in His time to remake us and bring forth the second Adam, who is the new man, the son of the living God. Let him who has been given ears hear these words of the Lord.

1Co 15:42 So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:
1Co 15:43 It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:
1Co 15:44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.
1Co 15:45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.
    1Co 15:46
Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.

It says in black and white right here that the first man is not the spiritual, first comes the natural man and then the new man of the Spirit and that is all the work of God in His appointed times.

1Co 15:47 The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven.
1Co 15:48 As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.
1Co 15:49 And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.

This is not some Plan B of God to respond to the false doctrine of the fall of man. This was God’s plan all along. Flesh was never going to inherit the kingdom of God.

1Co 15:50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.

Death, the last enemy of Christ will be defeated in due time. When death is destroyed, all men will be alive, none shall be lost and all knees shall bow to the glory of God.

1Co 15:51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
1Co 15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
1Co 15:53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
1Co 15:54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
1Co 15:55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?

The prophet and God’s Elect today speak the truth and wait on the Lord to give the increase and allow the earth, these vessels of dust and clay to hear the words of Christ. To believe the report of Isaiah, the words of the Lord must be heard by these marred vessels of dust, fashioned into clay by the Lord.

Jer 22:29 O earth, earth, earth, hear the word of the LORD.

  3. I received a question that relates to the belief that man has a free will and therefore is responsible for choosing to come to God and to seek His face. This is a common question and is universally (100% of time) held but those that belief and teach the false gospel of eternal punishment. I was led to provide an answer that may help bring this man out of the darkness and if God permit pull the plank that blinds so many from their eyes.

QUESTION: Ezr 7:13 I make a decree, that all they of the people of Israel, and of his priests and Levites, in my realm, which are minded of their own freewill to go up to Jerusalem, go with thee. *** These who went along up to Jerusalem, was it God deciding for them? or was it them who chose to go ? [which are minded of their own freewill to go]

ANSWER: Thank you for the question, which is very typical of what we all ask as we seek to understand in our carnal nature the truth of God’s word. The greater truth is that man has no free will and that he does nothing outside of the will of God. He truly is the potter and we are the clay and everything we do, be it good or bad is the work of God in our lives. We like Christ can do nothing on our own initiative, even though we think we do before we are converted from our carnal nature.

The fact is those who were freely willing were made willing by God working the desires of their heart. The Potter forms and shapes the clay as He deems fit, bringing about His good and perfect will in all our lives. The questioner used this one verse from Ezra that seemingly taken by itself implies man has a free will.

Ezr 7:13 I make a decree, that all they of the people of Israel, and of his priests and Levites, in my realm, which are minded of their own freewill (H5069) to go up to Jerusalem, go with thee.

Before we dissect this verse and look at the one Hebrew word the translators turned into this string of words “which are minded of their own freewill”; we must remember some key principles about the word of God.

    1. 2Pe 1:20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.

We can’t pit Scripture against Scripture. It is the SUM of thy word that is truth. Scriptures interprets itself so Ezr 7:13 only is true in the context of the rest of Scripture. If we take that verse by itself, especially as translated by carnal minded men we will indeed arrive at another gospel.

    2. 1Co 10:11 Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.

All of the Old Testament is a shadow of the truth. A shadow is not the truth it is actually darkness but it does provide an example of the truth (true light) for those given the mind to see it and to understand how the Holy Spirit teaches

1Co 2:13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

The OT is written as example only for God’s Elect, the ones upon whom the end of the AGE (not the world) have come. Those who have been delivered from their carnal mind are those upon whom the ends of the “carnal age” have come.

    3. 1Pe 1:12 Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into.

None of the OT was written for or to the people that lived back then. All was written for the sakes of God’s Elect upon whom the Spirit and gift of faith would be given. Those stories and words of God, are words that we shall live in our appointed timess.

Mat 4:4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

    4. Psa 119:160 The sum of Thy word is truth, And to the age is every judgment of Thy righteousness!

Lest we never forget this immutable truth. The whole counsel of God is the truth, a cherry picked collection of Scriptures arranged and presented by carnal minded men is not the truth but is in fact a different gospel.

Just looking within the book of Ezra only, we see that it was God who was behind the whole movement of people leaving Babylon. The people did not decide to do this on their own initiative, GOD DID IT.

ezr 1:5 Then rose up the chief of the fathers of Judah and Benjamin, and the priests, and the Levites, with all them whose spirit God had raised, to go up to build the house of the LORD which is in Jerusalem.

There is the answer right here, early in the book of Ezra. The Lord was behind it, it was not the free will of vessels of clay. Who incited these people to want to go build the house of the Lord in Jerusalem? It was not them, it was GOD. The only ones who freely sought to go back to Jerusalem were those few that GOD provoked into doing it. So while these people no doubt chose to willingly go back to Jerusalem, that choice was not without the causation of God. It was nothing more than God working in these Jews to bring about His will in the times and season GOD has appointed. I hope one can begin to see the error of the carnal mind of taking one Scripture of its own private interpretation. What we saw in Ezra is nothing more than what Paul said here.

Php 2:13 For it is God (NOT YOU or your delusion of free will) which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.

What the carnal mind cannot believe without faith is the power of God.

Isa 46:9 Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me,
Isa 46:10 Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:

God is not dependent upon man to do anything. His will is going to be done! His counsel shall stand and God needs nothing from man, He certainly is not at the mercy of a piece of clay.

    Act 17:25 Neither is worshipped with men’s hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things;

In fact we even see just in Ezra 7 Lord’s hand in all of these events. We see that Ezra was made a scribe in the law of Moses, not by His own choosing but because the Lord gave him to be that scribe. The king agreed to Ezra’s request because the Lord was working all of those things according to the counsel of His will.

Ezr 7:6 This Ezra went up from Babylon; and he was a ready scribe in the law of Moses, which the LORD God of Israel had given: and the king granted him all his request, according to the hand of the LORD his God upon him.

If one is granted to see the truth, it will be quite the shock to see how blind we once were to the hundreds of Scriptures that speak to God working all things. How our carnal mind could dismiss this truth and exalt a piece of clay into a position of power is nothing less than the work of God keeping is held in chains of darkness awaiting our day of judgment, when we will be given ears to hear.

Eph 1:11 in whom also we did obtain an inheritance, being foreordained according to the purpose of Him who the all things is working according to the counsel of His will,

The Potter and clay verses are true. They were true back then for Ezra and they are true for you and me today. All things are of God.

Isa 64:8 But now, O LORD, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand.

Rom 11:36 For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen.

Rom 9:15 For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.
Rom 9:16 So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.

IT IS NOT THE FREE WILL OF MAN ROMANS 9 tells us. Can it be any clearer? We can only believe the Scriptures and see the truth after we are given the gift of faith. it is not our faith, it is the faith of Jesus Christ and it is given to those God has chosen to give it to.

Joh 6:65 And he said, Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father.

IT MUST BE GIVEN. EXCEPT it were given, NO MAN COMES TO GOD. Man does not have a free will that does anything outside of the will of God. Sure man makes choices and has a will, but those choices and that will is given to them by the Lord. He is the potter and we are the clay. He is causing all things to happen according to the counsel of His will. that includes both good and evil things. The story of Joseph’s brothers is a great illustration of that. Joseph told his brothers they did evil in selling him into slavery in Egypt after first conspiring to kill him. Yet Joseph also tells them that it was actually God who that caused them to do it according to His will.

Gen 45:3 And Joseph said unto his brethren, I am Joseph; doth my father yet live? And his brethren could not answer him; for they were troubled at his presence.
Gen 45:4 And Joseph said unto his brethren, Come near to me, I pray you. And they came near. And he said, I am Joseph your brother, whom ye sold into Egypt.
Gen 45:5 Now therefore be not grieved, nor angry with yourselves, that ye sold me hither: for God did send me before you to preserve life.
Gen 45:6 For these two years hath the famine been in the land: and yet there are five years, in the which there shall neither be earing nor harvest.
Gen 45:7 And God sent me before you to preserve you a posterity in the earth, and to save your lives by a great deliverance.
Gen 45:8 So now it was not you that sent me hither, but God: and he hath made me a father to Pharaoh, and lord of all his house, and a ruler throughout all the land of Egypt.

Here is the answer, it was not them, it was GOD. Joseph brothers have the same free will all men have, which is none. So sure Joseph brothers decided to sell him into slavery. But it was all the work of God who is working all things for the greater good, which is the salvation of all men in the appointed times.

Gen 50:20 But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive.

God is the one who causes all things, even the evil things in the city.

Isa 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.

The Lord is doing it ALL.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Amo 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?

And we need to come to see and apply the Scriptures inwardly. The kingdom of God is within us said Christ and that is where the cities where evil is done are. Sure the word of god applies outwardly too, but it primarily must be applied inwardly first, we must live the words of God.

The carnal minded of today, just like the carnal mindedness of Joseph’s brothers cannot receive the things of God. It takes God opening our eyes and ears to see and to know that God is working all things without any exception. This even includes our very sins, that is evil being done in the city. All part of His plan for our lives.

Isa 63:17 O LORD, why hast thou made us to err from thy ways, and hardened our heart from thy fear? Return for thy servants’ sake, the tribes of thine inheritance.

The carnal mind cannot receive the things of God, it is foolishness to it and these truths can only be given to us by faith.

The word translated as free will is the Hebrew word nedab H5069. This word is only used in the book of Ezra and comes from the Hebrews word H5068 nadab which means to offer freely.

    H5068
    נדב
    nâdab
    naw-dab’
A primitive root; to impel; hence to volunteer (as a soldier), to present spontaneously: – offer freely, be (give, make, offer self) willing (-ly).

Man making an offer willingly or freely simply means we are making it without duress. But make no mistake, God is behind the scenes and is working all things just as the Scriptures state. Make no mistake, every step, thought and word we speak is from the Lord.

THOUGHTS: Amo 4:13 For, lo, he that formeth the mountains, and createth the wind, and declareth unto man what is his thought,

WORDS: Pro 16:1 The preparations of the heart in man, and the answer of the tongue, is from the LORD.

STEPS: Pro 20:24 Man’s goings are of the LORD; how can a man then understand his own way? Jer 10:23 O LORD, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps. Pro 16:33 The lot is cast into the lap; but the whole disposing thereof is of the LORD. Pro 21:1 The king’s heart [his choices] is in the hand of the LORD, as the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will.

The lie of the free will of mankind is the gigantic log in the eyes of the many called. It is the strong delusion and once that log is pulled out by the mercy of the Lord, then one can be in a position to grow in the knowledge of the grace of the Lord.

  4. Luk 13:34 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, which killest the prophets, and stonest them that are sent unto thee; how often would I have gathered thy children together, as a hen doth gather her brood under her wings, and ye would not!

Those who would not, could not. One has not change to know the truth unless we come to grasp that the sum of thy word is truth.

Psa 119:160 The sum of Thy word is truth, And to the age is every judgment of Thy righteousness!

Some of the word taken by itself as its own interpretation is not the truth. It is how we have so many false gospels. But one thing they all seem to share is the strong delusion that man has free will and chooses the ways of God on his own initiative. Nonesense. When Christ spoke these words in Luke 13 above, He most certainly did not contradict Himself when He said this.

Joh 6:44 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me drag him: and I will raise him up at the last day.

Joh 6:65 And he said, Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father.

Those Jews who would not is a reference to all men, you and me before we are given ears to hear and dragged to Christ in our appointed time.

Those Jews who did not beleive and would not come, could not come if they had tried. Why? Because that is what God had ordained for their life.

Joh 12:39 Therefore they could not believe, because that Esaias said again,
Joh 12:40 He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them.

Those jews, which are references to you and me, all men in our state of unbelief, cannot believe until we are given the gift of faith. The faith we have is given to us and it is not even our faith, it is the faith OF CHRIST, it is the eyes to see and ears to hear His word and know Christ is working all things in our lives and the lives of all men.

Eph 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that (the faith) not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Eph 2:9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

God thru Christ is in the business of blinding the multitudes that call on His name and only revealing Himself to the few that God has chosen before the world was even formed.

Joh 9:39 And Jesus said, For judgment I am come into this world, that they which see not might see; and that they which see might be made blind.

  5. Jana, Part of the answer to your question left out of my earlier reply was what to do when it becomes clear someone does not have the ears to hear the truth at a particular point of time. When that becomes clear and such a person has turned on us and is engaging us in strife, we are to move on and follow the Lord’s example.

Luk 4:28 And all they in the synagogue, when they heard these things, were filled with wrath,
Luk 4:29 And rose up, and thrust him out of the city, and led him unto the brow of the hill whereon their city was built, that they might cast him down headlong.
Luk 4:30 But he passing through the midst of them went his way,

We are to move on to the next city to a place where God may give us a lost lamb to feed and to nourish. All the Scripture that speaks to avoiding men that have confidence in the flesh and to reject heretics are there for a good reason. We must not allow bad doctrine into our spiritual houses. A little leaven levens the whole lump.

2Jn 1:7 For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.
2Jn 1:8 Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward.
2Jn 1:9 Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.
2Jn 1:10 If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:
2Jn 1:11 For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.

All these Scriptures speak to when we are to keep quiet. There is a time to speak and a time to remain silent.

Mat 7:6 Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.

Php 3:2 Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of the concision.
Php 3:3 For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh.

Mat 10:14 And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet.

Tit 3:9 But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain.
    Tit 3:10 A man that is an heretick after the first and second admonition reject;

There are many more but hopefully you get the point and can understand the point. This is why we are to lay hands suddenly on NO MAN, we must first determine if God has prepared their heart and given them the ears to hear the truth. I did not understand this fully when I first received my sight and that led to a lot of strife that could have been avoided, yet that is how I learned the truth. The Lord simply must prepare us to receive the truth otherwise the missionary efforts of men are all in vain.

Psa 10:17 LORD, thou hast heard the desire of the humble: thou wilt prepare their heart, thou wilt cause thine ear to hear:

  6. Hi Jana. Good to hear from you and glad to see you are not bitter to the mistreatment you received last time you were here. But all happens for a reason. Now to your question.

As pieces of clay, who are we to contend against God or to question His ways? All we have to go by is the Scripture and we are told not to even think beyond what is written.

1Co 4:6 And these things, brethren, I have in a figure transferred to myself and to Apollos for your sakes; that ye might learn in us not to think above that which is written, that no one of you be puffed up for one against another.

That is what happened here before in my youth and immaturity and that of others, people got puffed up one against another and this was not good but was what God had ordained to happen for all involved. But as we grow in the faith, we will believe more and more that God is working ALL THINGS for the counsel of His will, even evil things as the word clearly says.

Isa 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.

Eph 1:11 In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:

Psa 139:12 Yea, the darkness hideth not from thee; but the night shineth as the day: the darkness and the light are both alike to thee.

It is also written that God’s ways are not our ways nor His way of thinking like our natural way of thinking (ISA 55:8). Most have no appreciation of what that verse is really saying.

God’s plan and what the Scriptures declare is He will save many (all) thru a few. His Elect, who are HIS BODY will be the saviors, Christ works thru HIS BODY, His chosen witnesses.

Oba 1:21 And saviours shall come up on mount Zion to judge the mount of Esau; and the kingdom shall be the LORD’S.

Putting the sum of they word together we are given quite a bit of detail of this mystery, if we have been given the ears to hear it.

Rom 11:31 Even so have these also now not believed, that through your mercy they also may obtain mercy.
Rom 11:32 For God hath concluded them all in unbelief, that he might have mercy upon all.
Rom 11:33 O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!

It is thru the unbelief of the multitudes that claim they believe that a few are given the true faith, the gift of the faith OF Jesus Christ. It is thru our mercy that they shall receive mercy in their day of judgment. That judgment begins at God’s Elect and our hope is for all to have their day of judgment now in this life and to be in the blessed and holy first resurrection. There is not greater honor than that to mankind. Being found worthy to stand with Christ and rule and reign with Him is the prize and upward calling of God’s Elect.

Php 3:11 If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.
Php 3:12 Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus.
Php 3:13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,
Php 3:14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
Php 3:15 Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you.

So in God’s way, He chooses a few and sends them out to preach His word. There are many such examples of God choosing His Elect and sending them forth to speak and telling them they will not be well received. Such is the way of the Christ of Christ.

Joh 20:21 Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.

1Jn 4:17 Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.

God’s Elect are Jesus Christ on this earth. We are not the head, but we are HIS body. We are the vehicle thru which His word is spoken. We are His mouth, His feet, His arms, His legs, etc and we will do even greater works than Christ did because when we heal someone, they are healed spiritually and will never hunger or thirst again.

    Here are a few examples:

Isa 6:8 Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.
Isa 6:9 And he said, Go, and tell this people, Hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not.
Isa 6:10 Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and convert, and be healed.

Eze 3:1 Moreover he said unto me, Son of man, eat that thou findest; eat this roll, and go speak unto the house of Israel.
Eze 3:2 So I opened my mouth, and he caused me to eat that roll.
Eze 3:3 And he said unto me, Son of man, cause thy belly to eat, and fill thy bowels with this roll that I give thee. Then did I eat it; and it was in my mouth as honey for sweetness.
Eze 3:4 And he said unto me, Son of man, go, get thee unto the house of Israel, and speak with my words unto them.
    Eze 3:5 For thou art not sent to a people of a strange speech and of an hard language, but to the house of Israel;
Eze 3:6 Not to many people of a strange speech and of an hard language, whose words thou canst not understand. Surely, had I sent thee to them, they would have hearkened unto thee.
Eze 3:7 But the house of Israel will not hearken unto thee; for they will not hearken unto me: for all the house of Israel are impudent and hardhearted.

Jer 5:13 And the prophets shall become wind, and the word is not in them: thus shall it be done unto them.
Jer 5:14 Wherefore thus saith the LORD God of hosts, Because ye speak this word, behold, I will make my words in thy mouth fire, and this people wood, and it shall devour them.

And we all will first be like Jonah when our calling comes and flee to safety and not speak His word.

Jon 1:1 Now the word of the LORD came unto Jonah the son of Amittai, saying,
Jon 1:2 Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and cry against it; for their wickedness is come up before me.

We would much rather prophesy smooth deceits to ourselves and to others. That is how we can fit right in and be esteemed of men. But like Jonah, we will not be able to be quiet if we are god’s Elect, the word God put within us will burn, His word will go forth. The chastening of the Lord will cause us to go forth and speak His word.

Jer 20:7 O LORD, thou hast deceived me, and I was deceived: thou art stronger than I, and hast prevailed: I am in derision daily, every one mocketh me.
Jer 20:8 For since I spake, I cried out, I cried violence and spoil; because the word of the LORD was made a reproach unto me, and a derision, daily.
Jer 20:9 Then I said, I will not make mention of him, nor speak any more in his name. But his word was in mine heart as a burning fire shut up in my bones, and I was weary with forbearing, and I could not stay.

So God’s ways is to send His Elect out to the lost house of Israel that are currently in bondage in Babylon. A few will hear the words that we speak. Not very many because it is true that many are called but only a few are chosen.

Rom 10:14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?
Rom 10:15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!
Rom 10:16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?
Rom 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

The Elect of God will follow the Lord. As he was sent by His Farther, He sends us and gave us these instructions.

Mat 10:5 These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not:
Mat 10:6 But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
Mat 10:7 And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.
Mat 10:8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.
Mat 10:9 Provide neither gold, nor silver, nor brass in your purses,
Mat 10:10 Nor scrip for your journey, neither two coats, neither shoes, nor yet staves: for the workman is worthy of his meat.
Mat 10:11 And into whatsoever city or town ye shall enter, enquire who in it is worthy; and there abide till ye go thence.
Mat 10:12 And when ye come into an house, salute it.
Mat 10:13 And if the house be worthy, let your peace come upon it: but if it be not worthy, let your peace return to you.
Mat 10:14 And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet.
Mat 10:15 Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city.
Mat 10:16 Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.
    Mat 10:17 But beware of men: for they will deliver you up to the councils, and they will scourge you in their synagogues;
Mat 10:18 And ye shall be brought before governors and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them and the Gentiles.
Mat 10:19 But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak.
Mat 10:20 For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you.
Mat 10:21 And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death.
Mat 10:22 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.
Mat 10:23 But when they persecute you in this city, flee ye into another: for verily I say unto you, Ye shall not have gone over the cities of Israel, till the Son of man be come.
Mat 10:24 The disciple is not above his master, nor the servant above his lord.
Mat 10:25 It is enough for the disciple that he be as his master, and the servant as his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more shall they call them of his household?
Mat 10:26 Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known.
Mat 10:27 What I tell you in darkness, that speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye upon the housetops.
Mat 10:28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

  7. I agree at a higher level. My question is why then do YOU and the rest of the elect speak and write and try to reveal the same that God blinded them for to others ?

  8. QUESTION: Pete. Thank you for the Scripture but I am still hung up on the many verses which seem to imply man’s choice in trying to understand His sovereignty. God is waiting for us to repent isn’t He? To turn from our evil doings and to cry out to Him so He can send forth His word and heal. We can do it our way (the hard way) thus have the afflictions or His way and live in the promise land today! Who are the sons of man-the ones who don’t know the council of God. Who are the sons of God-the elect-the ones that know the entire council of God, have ears to hear and eyes to see….. That are wiling to dig to uncover the treasures of God. I believe everyone has the opportunity to choose – like the rich young ruler, but will not for various reasons . Jesus asks all of us to follow him…

ANSWER: We can only repent if and when God grants us repentance. Repentance is only available if granted by God. Notice what the origin of repentance is from these Scriptures. It is not you or me or our idea of our free will. It is all the work of God.

2 Tim 2:25-26 …if God perhaps WILL GRANT them repentance, so that they may know the truth, and that they may come to their senses and escape the snare of the devil, having been taken captive by him to do his will.

Act 5:31 Him God has exalted to His right hand to be Prince and Savior, TO GIVE repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins.

God’s Elect is the Israel of God and the Apostles knew and taught that such repentance was given to His chosen ones.

Act 11:18 When they heard these things they became silent; and they glorified God, saying, “Then God has also granted to the Gentiles repentance to life.

Man repents only and because we are granted and given repentance not because our flesh desires to repent on it’s own. It is right there in clear words. It is by the mercy of God, His goodness that HE grants, He gives to us repentance. It is nothing about us choosing to repent.

Rom 2:4 Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?

One is born again after they are turned around BY GOD. It is not of the will of man.

Joh 1:12-13 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

Flesh will want to contend with the truth of God’s word. The fact of the matter is Christ spoke truth when He said this.

Joh 15:5 I am the Grapevine. You are the branches. He who is remaining in Me, and I in him, this one is bringing forth much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing.”

We can do nothing, even repent on our own initiative. All is the work of God. So turning from our evil ways is not us doing it, it is God doing it in us. The carnal mind is unable to give God the credit and all the glory for its supposed good deeds. It wants to share God’s glory. Where is the “you” in this verse?

Php 2:13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.

We don’t do anything. We are clay in His hands and that is what scriptures say and it takes the gift of faith to believe them.

Isa 64:8 But now, O LORD, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand.

How does a piece of clay choose to do anything? How is it God’s work if we have free will to do anything? It is not our work, we are HIS WORK, even if that be evil. I showed you who does the evil in the city and that the city was inside of you and also this verse that is blasphemy to the carnal mind and one raised in the false doctrine of the harlot church. Who is causing us to sin? Who hardens our heart? It is not us, it is God.

Isa 63:17 O LORD, why hast thou made us to err from thy ways, and hardened our heart from thy fear?

If we take only part of the word of God and not the SUM, we will always miss something and bring down and minimize his power and working ALL THINGS.

Psa 119:160 The sum of Your word is truth, And all of Your righteous ordinances are eonian.”

We are the men in Scripture. We will live by every word. We will be the ones who do not know His council and we will also be if we are so chosen, His Elect who will be given to know that council. The Elect will be given the hunger to go search and dig for the treasure. The many called will not be given that hunger or zeal. They will be happy just going to church on Sundays and living happily ever after.

We do not choose Edie. You have to get past that flesh doctrine. Heed the words of Christ.

Joh 15:16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you,

Rom 3:10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
Rom 3:11 There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.

We have to be dragged to Christ. So says the Lord.

Joh 6:44 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me drags him: and I will raise him up at the last day.

No Man comes to Him any other way. No exceptions. God chooses, man has no choice with regards to salvation and knowing Christ. Which just proves that all the churches are men are false and apostate and there is no truth in them just as the Scriptures say.

Isa 3:1 For, behold, the Lord, the LORD of hosts, doth take away from Jerusalem and from Judah the stay and the staff, the whole stay of bread, and the whole stay of water,

The FATHER chooses the bride for Christ. The bride does not choose itself. Those the Father has chosen for the Son will be the beneficiaries of His grace which will cause them to obey Him. This is all the work of God and the fulfillment of this promise.

Eze 36:26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.
Eze 36:27 And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.

There is NO YOU do anything in salvation. It is all the work of God yet those God has blinded will not be able to see it no matter how many times we show them the plain Scriptures. I hope you are beginning to understand and will be brought to trust in the Sovereignty of God. He truly is working all things for the counsel of His will.

Eph 1:11 In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:

  9. Those God has shut up in darkness cannot receive the truth, even if they tried. They are blinded and are yet carnal and cannot see the truth of God’s word, it is foolishness to them.

1Co 2:14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

I have shown Scripture to many a heretic and they just can’t see it. They come back and continue to insist that where is it ever taught that God must regenerate a man’s nature before he can believe? (born again before one is born again). Its’ nowhere to be found they claim they say the Scripture is invisible. No, the Scripture is there, they just cannot see it.

Isa 45:4 For Jacob my servant’s sake, and Israel mine elect, I have even called thee by thy name: I have surnamed thee, though thou hast not known me.

Joh 6:65 And he said, Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father.

Joh 6:37 All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.

I hope it is clear, it is to those that have eyes to see, that one must be GIVEN to CHRIST by the Father in order to come to Christ. There is no free will in man choosing, it is all the work of God and the Lord.

Joh 15:16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you

Joh 15:5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. (even believe, or repent, etc)

Joh 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
Joh 1:13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

God’s Elect are chosen without regard to merit or what they have done or not done. They are chosen before the world was formed.

Eph 1:4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:
Eph 1:5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,

But it takes the gift of faith to believe these words. The faith to believe in God’s complete sovereignty over all things must be given to us. It is not our faith, it is the faith OF CHRIST.

Eph 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Eph 2:9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

The gift is the faith and it must be given to us. No one follows Christ any other way.

Joh 6:44 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me drags him: and I will raise him up at the last day.

There is no free will in being dragged. Let him who has been given an ear hear the truth.

Mat 13:9 Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.

Here is what dragging looks like. God goes fishing. Here is God turning the flesh of man around in true repentance.

Eze 38:4 And I will turn thee back, and put hooks into thy jaws, and I will bring thee forth, and all thine army, horses and horsemen, all of them clothed with all sorts of armour, even a great company with bucklers and shields, all of them handling swords:

God’s ways are not are ways. We will never know the ways of the Lord until He reveals it to us.

Isa 55:8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.
