brother Roger; Paul seems to bring about more clarity in Hebrews 11-19 to the understanding of Gen 22-5
Gen 22-4 Then on the third day Abraham lifted up his eyes, and saw the place afar off.
5 And Abraham said unto his young men, Abide ye here with the ass; and I and the lad will go yonder and worship, and come again to you.
Hebrews:11-17 By faith Abraham, when he was tried, offered up Isaac: and he that had received the promises offered up his only begotten son, 18Of whom it was said, That in Isaac shall thy seed be called: 19Accounting that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead; from whence also he received him in a figure.
“and I and the lad will go yonder and worship, and come again to you..””How could Abraham by words of consistency and truth make this straight forward statement in Gen 22- 5, all the while knowing that he was going to make his son Isaac a burnt offering? Hebrews 11-19 reveals the answer… “accounting that God was able to raise him up even from the dead, from whence also he received him in a figure”,
It was Abraham’s :faith” and complete obedience to the LORD and his duty to carry out God’s command. Abraham knew it was as easy for God to raise Isaac up from the dead as it was to give the gift of life in Isaac to Abraham and Sarah, who where both past age and could not bear children…It was a great “miracle by God” that Sarah even gave birth to Isaac in the beginning, thus Abraham “by faith” knowing that the raising up of Isaac from the dead would be no impossibility for his God to preform……verse 19 reveals this in Hebrews chapter 11.

@Randall, Bill – with reference to Abrahams faith in his God, our God, that he and Isaac would return as they had gone – a dear brother in Christ shared this truth from scripture with me a number of years ago as we walked together for a while.
It seems a small thing, a small act of faith – and yet….. from that seed of faith !
its wonderful……….how by grace i keep seeing who is randall, who is pete, who is roger………………..NO it is WHO GOD IS.
Praise the LORD. That is why roger could seee truth…………..was by Grace.
As for bill or any of us. all is by Grace.
Man i am lit aflame again. GO out and proclaim the truth.
REPENT ye and believe the gosple. THIS was the comission of our LORD JESUS.
LET US live IT. LET us warn. And shake the dust off our feet as a testimony.

Let us NEVER entertain strange and diverse doctrines……….and never take heed
unto one who denys the diety of CHRIST. DONT do it.
You warn them. BUt if they wont repent. GEt far from them. THe words do eat as a chanker on the soul.
A lil leaven will cause the lump to rise. as through the ages we now have churches the way we do. THE leaven of false doctrines has changed about everything. INstead of seperating from company ………..man reasoned among themselves……….and thus the leaven has caused the lump to rise. STAND in the PURE HOLY UNLEAVENED bread of sincerity and truth. and if a bishp or a deacon ……………..it even says one must be Grave as well.
Take a peek at what that word means. Yall let us not be infected by false sensual love.
But let us go on unto perfection in CHRIST……….that is growing in maturity.

WHY did abraham know………………..Because as it is written………GOD told abraham that in Issac his seed would be established. HOW could it if the kid were dead.

Amen!!! Pete, the more I understand the more I realize I know nothing…. God will choose and send those who have ears to hear when the time is appointed….. i often reflect on verse 30 too Pete…This was at the treasury in the Temple, and many believed on HIM…Most people do not bring to mind this verse in the chapter..I often reflect on verse 31…It reflects the power of God working through Jesus when He was writing on the ground with HIs finger…I think it very likly HE was writing the 10 commandments, that were written with the finger of God in Exodus when Moses was on Mt Sinai…
Verse 28, is very powerful, this is the same thing He said to Nicodemus in ch 3, and later to His disciples in chapter
28 Then said Jesus unto them, (((When ye have lifted up the Son of man))), then shall ye know that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself; but as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things.
John 12:32 And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.
John 12:34 The people answered him, We have heard out of the law that Christ abideth for ever: and how sayest thou, The Son of man must be lifted up? who is this Son of man?
Numbers 21:8 And the LORD said unto Moses, Make thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a pole: and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten, when he looketh upon it, shall live.
Numbers 21:9 And Moses made a serpent of brass, and put it upon a pole, and it came to pass, that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he beheld the serpent of brass, he lived.
All men have a poisonous snake bite like the Hebrews did in the wilderness with Moses..
Numbers 21-4 And they journeyed from mount Hor by the way of the Red sea, to compass the land of Edom: and the soul of the people was much discouraged because of the way.
The way of the cross is narrow, difficult, and can be much discouraging,
5 And the people spake against God, and against Moses, Wherefore have ye brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? for there is no bread, neither is there any water; and our soul loatheth this light bread. 6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
This was the Lord who sent the fiery serpents, These same fiery serpents of whom also serve God, have been sent today by HIM, and they have bitten the people who are now infected with the venom of spiritual poison. Snakes bites everywhere. The whole world is infected with this venom from the serpent in the garden.
7 Therefore the people came to Moses, and said, We have sinned, for we have spoken against the LORD, and against thee; pray unto the LORD, that he take away the serpents from us. And Moses prayed for the people.
People today need much prayer and supplication from the living saints…Joel 2-17
Numbers 21:9 And Moses made a serpent of brass, and put it upon a pole, and it came to pass, that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he beheld the serpent of brass, he lived.
The only cure for the snake bites is to look with faith upon the Son of man who was lifted up.
Then shall they be healed…The cross is the center focus of the gospel message 1 Cor 2…So many today are preaching every way except the WAY of the cross.. .. Poison can not cast out poison, flesh cannot cast out flesh, only the cross and faith to look upon it will begin to cure the sick..There were many non believing snake bitten Jews in Jerusalem who came to the Savior once the Son of man was lifted up: The world of the lost is not looking upon the cross and the Son of man who was lifted up, for it is a stumblingblock, and foolishness today. …..1 Corinthians 1:23 But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness; 22 For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom:….
The Christian religions crowd is chasing after flesh signs and wonders in the dry desert, and the mystical gnostics are seeking the wisdom of man in the secret chambers..One might say they are looking for truth in all the wrong places….Got to look upon the cross where the son of man was lifted up.. Jesus Christ and HIM crucified is where the antidote is. Not many today teaching Paul’s message in
Matthew 24:26 Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.
Maybe that will change in the coming days…I Cor 5-5…
John 3-14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:
15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.\
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
Not many teaching Paul’s message in 1 Cor. 2….this is out of style today, most are preaching the fight against the NWO, it is the latest craze. I know, I was doing it myself in the past…
1 Corinthians 2
1 And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God.
2 For I determined (((not to know any thing))) among you, save (((Jesus Christ, and him crucified))).
3 And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling.
4 And my speech and my preaching was not with (((enticing words of man’s wisdom))), but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power:
5 That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.
The wisdom of man fights and discerns the new age enemies the NWO.

Pete……………wow. Even what you brought shows us how CHRIST SPOKE.
He even called them of their father the devil.
HE warned……………..he LOVED. Let us live as HE did.

Our problem is we have been raised in an age………….where to say things like
LEt he who preaches another gosple be accursed……….OR eat not with one who is covetous etc…………or bid no man even god speed if they bring another gosple.
ITs seen like one is hating if they say this. BUT the early church did.
We are in an era………..where we are self condmened if we warn anyone. NOT to mention condmened of many when we do.
We must grow in maturity………………..and learn of the SPIRIT.

Goodness towars us…………………severity towards them who due to lack of faith were cut off.
LEt us continue in the goodness of God……..because believe me……….if we dont………we too shall be cut off. THUS take heed to the spirit. for all is by Grace. and grace teaches us to deny all ungodliness , to walk holy , to be looking for his day.
Warn them of this. Do it now. We must sharpen one another through sound doctrine.
NOT mans mind …………….but the word of GOD.
Thus let us examine whether we speak by the spirit………..or our own carnal reasoning.
ONE way to find out quick. TEST all that comes out the mouth…………..against sound doctrine. all. Examine thyself and do so daily. WE are our brothers keeper.
We are. Look out one for the other. IF you see one sin……………………know that whoever pulls him from that sin…………….has saved a soul from death. LOVE covers the multitued of sin. LOVE thy brother……………thus warn thy brother. Amen.

Praise God for His love and revelation.
@Bill – thankyou for sharing on the sacrificial lamb, and the type and shadow of Abraham and Isaac, to the final offering and once only sacrifice of Lord Jesus as the ‘lamb of God’.
Abraham was directed to Mount Moriah, the same hill on which the two temples were later built, and is now Jerusalem.
I am encouraged by Abraham’s faith in God, and his knowing that His God would provide a sacrifice other than Isaac – Gen.22:5 “.. And Abraham said unto his young men, Abide ye here with the ass; and I and the lad will go yonder and worship, and come again to you..” I read here that Abraham knew he and ‘the lad’ would return.

To All: last evening I studied further on the faithfulness of Almighty God, and His love for His people. In Ezek.36, we read that God will return them to their land – verse 6 speaks of the land itself, verse 22 explains that this is not because the people, the Israelites, are deserving – but because He is God.
Verse 23 explains the reason that God will do this thing – and verses 24 and 28 confirm that the land is theirs, and was promised to their forefathers.
Eze 36:22 Therefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord GOD; I do not this for your sakes, O house of Israel, but for mine holy name’s sake, which ye have profaned among the heathen, whither ye went.
Eze 36:23 And I will sanctify my great name, which was profaned among the heathen, which ye have profaned in the midst of them; and the heathen shall know that I am the LORD, saith the Lord GOD, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes.
Eze 36:24 For I will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries, and will bring you into your own land.
Eze 36:25 Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.
Eze 36:26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.
Eze 36:27 And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.
Eze 36:28 And ye shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and ye shall be my people, and I will be your God.

@Pete – yes indeed, only God Himself through His Holy Spirit can reveal His truths, convict each one of their sin, and the need to repent, as He and He alone draws us to Himself.
Nothing has really changed has it – since Jesus time…? Today we still have those who believe of God, know about Him – who preach the ‘turn or burn’, that you speak of – yet deny Him as Lord and Saviour. We need more than this knowledge OF Him – we need to KNOW Him, have a personal relationship WITH Him, which is to abide IN Him constantly.
When we are in Him, at this place of faith and trust, submission and surrender – then He will lead us, direct us, tell us what to do, what to say and where to go.
Praise His name, all glory to our risen Lord and Saviour, Jesus.
May His love, peace, grace and mercy be with us all, who abide in Him

I know this approach they do is very evil. Because how can one sing of gays going to hell, and really be of GOD.
We know it is sin, and if they dont repent of it…….well it is destruction.
But to go out like that one church…………….is wrong.
We sure dont go out and yell at people in funerals.
We preach the truth. But as you would agree…………..go out we must.
Some are out there preaching of Grace. Repent ye and believe the gospel.
We see stephen though get gruff at the jews……………he said stiffnecked etc.
BUt we see his love in his forgivness of them as well.
A healthy balance. The social gospel is false………..the false grace with out repentance is false. The haters who hate on sinners………….is false.
By Grace i too see this.
But we must warn some in FEAR or Compassion. BUT NEVER HATE.
A problem that is fast arising is……………..its okay to preach of grace and forgivness
BUT nothing to do with repentance. NO fear of GOD. No true warning.
IF we are truly led of the spirit……….GOD gives us the words.
IF we are led of flesh………….well, then we tell on our words………..and they are not life.
But let us warn. And let us be about winning souls.
Look out our society……………….we have been raised in an age………….with many sensual love beings. Even fore i was born. But as of late…………its getting fast out of control.
Warn. Save some , notice he says……………..save some with compassion…………others with fear………….hating even the garment spotted by the flesh. Hate the sin………..BUT love all , even your enemies. Do good. A few years back i was shut down by a professed witch to any type of witnessing to her. She worked with me. When it was plain she didnt want one word of what i said. Well…………..i didnt witness no more. But……………when she was hungry……………i bought her food. as i did even with one who was gay.
Did she ever repent. NO. But something must have at least got her attention, because
one day i had found out……….she had read some of revelations.
She never came to the LORD. BUt i done what i could. My appoach has been meek.
Have i ever won a soul. I have no idea.
Have i seen the spirit at work on some i have warned……………You bet i have.
A man would always get convicted deep when i would speak to him.
Another lady would get fearful……….and really want to go after God.
When i spoke to my son………..whom i only see once every two weeks.
When i sat him down one day…………..and really put the fear of GOD in him.
Warning him…………that LOVE is at all times, every day. That unless one truly lives
and walks as Christ……..then will end up in A lake of fire.
THIS kid………………………..got worried and said he didnt want to go to hell.
I found out from his mother……………..he started reading the word……………..then wanted to commit…………..then wanted the water baptism…. which of course we knows saves not,
However my point is ………….i spoke as the spirit led…………….and this stirred thet kid up.
IS he a follower of CHRIST…………………..no ………….not yet. But he does watch me.
HE does watch how i live. He sees the difference in me………………….who claims CHRIST
and the difference in his mother who may claim christ………..but dont walk as He did.
Man…………………i tell you all…………………..save some by compasssion , others by fear.
BUt do something. Go out and let the light shine.
Warn……………………..walk in LOVE and mercy…………….but speak of CHRIST.
And do like stephen or paul…………who also used doctrine to speak of CHRIST. THEY DID.
WE SHOULD TOO. FOR THE WORD OF GOD IS SHARP and POWERFUL.
Use doctrine for correcting, use it for sharpening…………………use it all for the building up of the body…………….and warn some. LET the spirit give the words.
And do all from a heart filled in love. and beware the evils of our own flesh.
KEEP it dead. ITs always contrary to the spirit. Learn to be content.
LEarn of CHRIST……………..dig deep. and may souls be won. amen.
In John 8 we have Jesus speaking to the Jews. These were even Jews that “believed” the Scriptures tell us if you read earlier in the passage (John 8:31). But these Jews could not hear. The word of God did not resonate with them and they were without any understanding.
JOHN 8:43-47 Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word.
44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
45 And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.
46 Which of you convinceth me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do ye not believe me?
47 He that is of God heareth God’s words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.
We know it is only by grace that we see and we hear. Praise Jesus. This is why we cannot boast and must be humble showing mercy to all. I have increasingly become at odds with some of the so called street preachers I see that in their zeal to serve God go out with big signs saying “Turn or Burn” and take every opportunity to rebuke sinners and nonbelievers. Is this foolishness? They cannot hear because they are not of God. These Scriptures are written for the children of God, those He has called and given ears to hear. We as men cannot make them understand and this is why we must act in gentleness, love and mercy. You think of the worst of these kinds of people, like the church that pickets funerals of dead soldiers and yells at gays that they are going to hell. This just brings out the worse of flesh on both sides and is not bearing fruit. Jesus builds the church.
Many deceivers such as Westboro Baptist, Oprea and even people that plaster bible verses all over their clothing and carry signs condemning others. I see not this example by the Apostles. They went into the world and told of the good news and left the giving of grace and ears to hear to the one who is mighty to save. That would be Jesus.
Oh…………..Bill………….how this goes much deeper than even what you said.
This religoin is the core of satan himself.
TO rule through a king and kings………….or man and men .
Beware their fruit…………….eat not of its knowledge.
Eat only of the true bread.
FOR this fruit will reveal itself …………..it may look good to the eyes of men…….
but the end result will be worms and rotten.
It may sound like love to all, even enmies
but in its height………will turn to rid the earth of all evil.

Beware the fruit of that tree.

In the end…………..in her height………………in all her glory and splendor…………….she shall be cut down…………..burned to cinder………..and so too shall all who partake of her lie.

I fear only HE who has power to cast both soul and body into hell.

@Randall Yes I believe the end time propheciues are both literal and spiritual. It depends on where we are reading from in the bible. But in any event, I have no doubt we are in the very last days. Personally, I believe we have anywhere from 5 to 16 years remaining but it is not really important nor do I want to teach or proclaim that as a fact or truth. Just the way I see the prophecies on the third day when the Body is raised up along with the math on a generation of time. We must be ready and the watching and anticipating the return of our Master and Lord.
I was in a “sky is falling” mode a couple of years ago and wanting to talk doom and gloom. But I have found that to be an error and fleshly response to a little scriptural knowledge. That message bore no fruit or converts and while I felt I was serving God in the season, I was not bearing the fruit that proved it. The Lord is indeed in control, draws all people near He chooses and we are to proclaim the good news and teach His commandments and trust that the Lord is building His church. At this claim, Jesus will not fail that I do know.
For some time I have seen the wrath of God being poured out in the spiritual. This is how it can start at the house of God and yet physically someone in the same literal house is unaffected that is not a believer. It is the inner torment and lack of peace and the struggle within that consumes people if they do not respond and turn back to God. There is going to be physical lack, issues with money, jobs, food, electricity before it is all said and done. That is my belief and that is one of the ways God will once more shake everything so that what cannot be shaken will remain. I have been advised by some to move from the gulf coast. I live two blocks from the beach and on water and there could be a Tsunami at any time and no chance of escape. But it is not physical harm that I fear, it is the wrath of God, knowing He can send at any moment an unseen force and causation of all manner of ill, if He is invoked unto jealousy and anger by the rebellious. It took me quite some time to really to come to know that GOD SEES all. Nothing is hidden from Him. We may think we hide our sin from others, but God sees it all and when we do not respond to His discipline, He keeps cranking it up until we do respond. Thankfully that is true love, what we would call tough love that a parent gives to their children. it does not feel good in the moment but in the end it leads to the peaceable fruit of righteousness.
I am going to trust God to tell me and give me unction to physically pack it up and move. Again that is not how I see it all but know I could be wrong and do not want to close my ears in pride and not hear a command from the Lord and the living word. I believe I have a connection with Him thru prayer and my concious and continue to pray His will be done on earth and in my life as it is in heaven. Jesus is the prince of peace and without this peace in our heart, we can know we have a problem with God of some sort. Here is a test of peace.
1 John 3:21 Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God

We to are to offer up the NEW MAN that comes from our old dead body (the old man) and that new man is to become a living sacrifice unto the Lord. All these literal stories and events were spiritual lessons to make us wise unto salvation. They apply to us this very day.

When Ishmael was born out of the will of Sarah, Abraham had not yet been circumcised…So the promise was to come out of His own bowels, and from his own wife Sarah….From which would spring the everlasting covenant (the new covenant in Jesus Christ)…We know the OT flesh covenant was never to be everlasting….It came to an end, not because of God’s lack of promise, but the people of Israel turned away from their covenant, and God divorced His former wife…According to the laws of Moses once a former wife is divorced, the husband cannot go back and re-marry her…Deuteronomy Chapter 24-1-4.
Genesis 17:19 And God said, Sarah thy wife shall bear thee a son indeed; and thou shalt call his name Isaac: and I will establish my covenant with him for an (((everlasting covenant))), and with his seed after him.
Genesis 17:21 But my covenant will I establish with Isaac, which Sarah shall bear unto thee at this set time in the next year.
The everlasting covenant always was, is, and will be. First spoken of in Genesis 9:16 a timeless and eternal covenant. That was in the mind of God from the foundations of the world, given from eternity. This is where the Lamb was slain from the foundations of the world….I will explain more as we go forward in this study..
EVERLASTING H5769 o-lawm‘, o-lawm‘ From 5956 properly concealed, that is, the vanishing point; generally time out of mind (past or future), that is, (practically) eternity; frequentative adverbially (especially with prepositional prefix) always: – always (-s), ancient (time), any more, continuance, eternal, (for, [n-]) ever (-lasting, -more, of old), lasting, long (time), (of) old (time), perpetual, at any time, (beginning of the) world (+ without end). Galatians 4:28 Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of promise.
Isaac was Abraham’s son and heir, his most beloved and only begotten son born of Sarah his wife.
When God tempted Abraham, it was not in the way we would think of the word tempted, God was testing Abraham’s faith as we all know….Its about faith….
Gen 22-1 And it came to pass after these things, that God did tempt Abraham, and said unto him, Abraham: and he said, Behold, here I am.
Abraham responded quickly to the Lords call to obedience.
2 And he said, Take now thy son, (((thine only son Isaac))), whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of.
At this point it was 3 days before Abraham was to offer up Isaac, It is my believe that Isaac was already dead to the mind of Abraham, the decision had been made…. Abraham had made up his mind at this point to give his only begotten son Isaac…Abraham also knowing, that Isaac would be resurrected to life again eternal. But as far as the mind of Abraham, it was made up to obey the Lord, and he counted Isaac as already have been slain in his mind. It was a done deal…
3 And Abraham rose up early in the morning, and saddled his ass, and took two of his young men with him, and Isaac his son, and clave the wood for the burnt offering, and rose up, and went unto the place of which God had told him.
and clave the wood for the burnt offering…..Abraham not knowing whether he should find wood sufficient enough on the mountain, where he was to go according to God’s Instructions. So Abraham not desiring to be unprovided when he arrived there in 3 days, he takes a provision of wood which reveals his full intention to obey the command of God. He gets things ready for a sacrifice with his own hands, he cuts the wood…… I can vision where Isaac; being a type and shadow of Christ, the sacrificial Lamb. It seems most likley that Isaac may carried the wood on his back, just as Christ carried the cross on his back…: JMO
4 Then on the third day Abraham lifted up his eyes, and saw the place afar off.
5 And Abraham said unto his young men, Abide ye here with the ass; and I and the lad will go yonder and worship, and come again to you.
Keep in mind the 3rd day…
6 And Abraham took the wood of the burnt offering, and laid it upon Isaac his son; and he took the fire in his hand, and a knife; and they went both of them together.
“Took the wood – and laid it upon Isaac” – Probably the mountain-top to which they were instructed to go by God was too steep and difficult to be ascended by the animals; therefore either the father or the son must carry the wood, I believe Isaac carried the wood on his back….”Took the wood – and laid it upon Isaac”
I can vision where Isaac; being a type and shadow of Christ, the sacrificial Lamb. Isaac carried the wood on his back, just as Christ carried the cross on his back…:
The wood would have been laid on Isaac’s back I think, just as the cross was at Jesus back..
Gen 22-7 And Isaac spake unto Abraham his father, and said, My father: and he said, Here am I, my son. And he said, Behold the fire and the wood: but where is the lamb for a burnt offering?
8 And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both of them together
“And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering”
This was an expression by Abraham speaking of the Lamb that was slain from the foundation of the world, God in His mind, like Abraham did in his mind, had already decided from eternity to offer up His only begotten Son as a sacrificial Lamb. John the baptist said; Behold the “Lamb of God” when Jesus came to be baptized.
9 And they came to the place which God had told him of; and Abraham built an altar there, and laid the wood in order, and bound Isaac his son, and laid him on the altar upon the wood.
Jesus was laid upon the wood of the cross as Isaacs was laid upon the wood.
10 And Abraham stretched forth his hand, and took the knife to slay his son.
Verse 10 types the perfect sacrifice…Jesus Christ was the ONLY perfect sacrifice.
11 And the angel of the LORD called unto him out of heaven, and said, Abraham, Abraham: and he said, Here am I….
12 And he said, Lay not thine hand upon the lad, neither do thou any thing unto him: for now I know that thou fearest God, seeing thou hast not withheld thy son, thine only son from me.
This was the 3rd day and Isaac was loosed from death, just as Christ was loosed from death on the 3rd day, for the grave could not hold HIM..
15 And the angel of the LORD called unto Abraham out of heaven the second time,
16 And said, By myself have I sworn, saith the LORD, for because thou hast done this thing, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only son:
17 That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; (((and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies)));
This is shadowing the coming of Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God, who was to be the seed of Abraham, (seed as in one, not seeds as in many) and the enemies, from the gates of hell, shall not prevail against HIS church.
The Lamb that was to be slain from the foundation of the world was all in the eternal mind of God the Father from the beginning.

@Sandra – I just need to thank you for the recent video you posted, on the 144,000 – I hadn’t seen that before, however I receive confirmation through his sharing.
It wasn’t until we came out of the bondage of religion, that Lord Jesus could begin to share His truths with us from Scripture – our eyes were opened, are ears were cleared.
One truth that we have learnt is that the gospel of Christ Jesus is simple and basic, it was designed that way so that all could receive and understand – it is man who has complicated it.
The Bible means what it says, and says what it means – and of course the Bible are the words of Lord Jesus.
