Pete,
Great video!!! I wonder if I have this right about Joel 2. I think we only have a little time to call for this holy assembly – to call all who morn for the sins of the assembly.
It seems like God has shown us a way he can use those of us who recognize the Harlot church, and our prist class abomination.
I wonder if we could set up a monthly chat gathering, or perhaps we should just pay the airfare??
NLT Joel 2:12 That is why the Lord says,
“Turn to me now, while there is time.
Give me your hearts.
Come with fasting, weeping, and mourning.
13 Don’t tear your clothing in your grief,
but tear your hearts instead.”
Return to the Lord your God,
for he is merciful and compassionate,
slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love.
He is eager to relent and not punish.
14 Who knows? Perhaps he will give you a reprieve,
sending you a blessing instead of this curse.
Perhaps you will be able to offer grain and wine
to the Lord your God as before.
15 Blow the ram’s horn in Jerusalem!
Announce a time of fasting;
call the people together
for a solemn meeting.
16 Gather all the people―
the elders, the children, and even the babies.
Call the bridegroom from his quarters
and the bride from her private room.
17 Let the priests, who minister in the Lord’s presence,
stand and weep between the entry room to the Temple and the altar.[the porch is where the gentiles are and the altar is the place of sacrifice, the life of submission]
Let them pray, “Spare your people, Lord!
Don’t let your special possession become an object of mockery.
Don’t let them become a joke for unbelieving foreigners who say,
‘Has the God of Israel left them?’”
The Lord’s Promise of Restoration
18 Then the Lord will pity his people
and jealously guard the honor of his land.

Supposedly, 84% of Americans are Christian. It was in the 90%+ range until a few decades ago. So being a Christian here is a looked upon by most with favor, even Obama and many Hollywood stars profess as much. But calling oneself a Christian is a whole lot easier than actually being a true disciple of Jesus. The discipleship Jesus taught and the New Testament church lived would be considered radical Christianity today. It is wonderful to be a Christian here, and wear that label. There is safety in the 80% numbers. But those that practice the radical christianity are the ones that are hated and despised. These preach separation from the world and the truth about sin, dying to flesh, paying the price, and suffering. They are the ones that are persecuted by the world and the apostate body of christians.
The fact is most of these American Christians are no christians at all. They are christian in name only. Their worship is in vain and is only with their lips, their hearts are far from Jesus. Maybe we are following the footsteps of the UK and Europe. I think we are, as the secular movement and anti Christian movement continues to grow. Most people are ashamed to wear their faith on their sleeve. It is fine to be seen in church and counted on a membership role, but to actually express your faith in action, rebuke sin, say no to the ways of the world brings persection and judgment by the people, even professing Christians, so most people do not beleive in the gospel. They are ashamed to speak it as it bring rejection from the world and in their lust for the approval of men, they have compromised to truth.
I never did get that one ‘being looked up to as a Godly person’. It must be a cultural thing in the US. Here in the UK you are just a ‘freak’ if you say you are a Christian.
Great message Pete.
Always look forward to your videos, and, blogs
The church mentality is all about the community
builders and the kingdom now. {the Yes we can church}
Gen 4
7 If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, (((and thou shalt rule over him))).
This explains that sin equates to “bondage”
The apostate church is saying the exact same things it did 2000 yrs ago. “we are not in bondage” we have Jesus. Exact same story all over.
John 8
33 They answered him, We be Abraham’s seed, and were never in bondage to any man: how sayest thou, Ye shall be made free?
34 Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.
35 (((And the servant abideth not in the house for ever))): but the Son abideth ever.
