Fleeing From Babylon

July 21, 2010

Revelation 18:4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.

A sister in Christ asked a question about what we are actually fleeing from when we obey God and leave Babylon.  The obvious answer I thought was to just say the fallen church.  But since “church” is not really a physical manifestation or even a denomination, it requires a more thorough answer.  Telling somebody NOT to go to  church because we don’t agree with the doctrine or how they run worship services didn’t sit well with me.  It struck me as what a Pharisee might say and I thought caution was in order to ensure a critical spirit or spirit of judgment was not working to deceive me.  I have been highly critical of many “churches” in general and by association, the people who attend these churches.  I like all men am in no position to judge the heart on anyone as only God can see into our hearts.   We can judge doctrine and we can judge sin, but we cannot judge the hearts of another man.  I repent of my ungodly judgments.

Just as God’s church is not a building, an organization or a doctrine — neither is Babylon the fallen church.  Church is the spiritual gathering of the hearts and minds of people.  Jesus builds His church and Satan has been building his own church with deception.  Belonging to a church is really about what you believe in your heart and what is on your mind.  Is your heart pure and your mind focused on Jesus or is your heart full of idols and your mind on the lusts of the flesh and the things of the world?  The MARK we have on our forehead or on our hand (our deeds) determines whether or not we are in Babylon or in the true Church of Jesus Christ.  We see John describe the church as a mystery with the key markings identified.

Revelation 17:5  And on her forehead a name was written:

MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.

Those marked by God on their forehead will have the mind of Christ.  Those marked by Satan, carry the mark of the beast as they have the mind of the Satan.  Those live for fleshly desires, walk in the flesh — which is the nature of Satan.  Modern day Babylonians have not put on the divine nature of Christ.  God calls these Christians harlots and vain worshippers.  Harlots don’t die to their flesh yet claim to be married to Jesus.  This spiritual adultery is practiced by the vast majority of professing Christians.  They are in Babylon, they have been deceived and it is time to blow trumpets to wake them up and help them flee from Babylon.  My post on the MARK OF THE BEAST will help the reader understand these two marks which define who we really are in Christ or of the devil.

Whether one has the mark of God or the mark of the beast is not directly dependent on where a person chooses to spend a few hours of week in a building with a steeple on top or a cross on the wall.   Church transcends all of these physical manifestations and is a spiritual place of gathering.  God knows your heart and your mind,  there is nothing that is hidden from Him.  God knows where you are, whether you belong to Him and have His mark of whether you are in Babylon playing the harlot.

Babylon is a mind that is set on the flesh.  It is a state of mind that combines the things of God with the things of the world.  The sanctified vessels of God are defiled with wine and the abominations of the earth.   The “religion” of those with this mindset points to another Jesus that is really the image of the Beast.  The Babylonian church does not purify themselves,  they do not make themselves ready for the Bridegroom.  They sit exalted as a queen thinking they lack nothing and blindly trust in their false peace and security.  Suddenly one day destruction shall overcome them and Babylon will not escape.  Flee from Babylon.

God’s Call to Come Out

There is a persistent call for God’s people to come out of or flee from Babylon.   Understanding what Babylon is and how we are to flee is an essential answer all Christians must know.  In a previous post I laid showed the linkage to the first fall of Babylon to the second and final fall.  In both cases of Babylon falling, it is because the sanctified vessels of God are defiled with the wine and abominations of the world.   Let’s review some of the calls to flee from Babylon.

Zechariah 2:6-7 Ho there! Flee from the land of the north,” declares the LORD, “for I have dispersed you as the four winds of the heavens,” declares the LORD.  7Ho, Zion! Escape, you who are living with the daughter of Babylon.”  Here we see the LORD telling His people to flee from the north which is where the enemy resides and takes God’s people captive.  The Prophets speak of the escaped remnant from Babylon, these are the few there be that shall find the narrow gate.  WE ALL MUST COME OUT OF BABYLON.  True heart felt repentance and separation from the ways of the world is how escape Babylon.  We don’t have to move to another country or necessarily change what assembly house we go to worship each week.   But we do need to be careful with whom we associate with and what behavior we endorse by our action or inaction.

Jeremiah 51:6 Flee from the midst of Babylon,  and each of you save his life!  Do not be destroyed in her punishment, For this is the LORD’S time of vengeance; He is going to render recompense to her.   The judgment of God is for the defilement of His temple.  We are the temple of God —  He lives in His people.  When we defile that temple by staying in the spiritual state of Babylon, walking as a harlot, and living like the world lives,  we will be judged and bear the vengeance of God.  This is how we neglect such a wonderful salvation when we become religious and stay in Babylon.

Jeremiah 51:45 Come forth from her midst, My people, and each of you save yourselves from the fierce anger of the LORD.  The Lord is very serious about us getting out of Babylon.  He calls His people to take action , we must choose life and choose to sow to the Spirit.  Paul spoke to the consequences of our choice in Romans 8.

Romans 8:12 Therefore, brethren, we are debtors—not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh. 13 For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live

Isaiah 48:20  Go forth from Babylon! Flee from the Chaldeans! There are some interesting things about the Chaldeans which are the inhabitants of Babylon.  If you read my last post,  you might be interested to know that the Chaldeans always come from the north or live in the north with even Abraham being called away from the Chaldeans.

Isaiah 13:48-50 For the destroyers will come to her from the north,” declares the LORD. Indeed Babylon is to fall for the slain of Israel, as also for Babylon the slain of all the earth have fallen. You who have escaped the sword, Depart! Do not stay!  We escape the sword by being under the protection of God.  This means we are in covenant with God.  When we are rescued from the sword,  God tells us to move on which sounds like Jesus telling the sinners to “Go and sin no more” or “ pick up your mat and walk.”  When God shows up,  we have to follow Him, we cannot stay put in Babylon.

Isaiah 52:11 Depart, depart, go out from there, Touch nothing unclean;  Go out of the midst of her, purify yourselves, You who carry the vessels of the LORD.  When we have the Spirit of God in us, then and only then are we born again.   When we carry this vessel (the Holy Spirit) we are to come out and be separate from the world.  This is the lesson that man’s church just doesn’t want to believe.  They think it is perfectly fine to mix with the world.  This wasn’t the way Jesus explained it to us in the Parable of the Wheat & Tares in Matthew 13.  No this carnal thinking is nothing more than religion.  Man has confused the things of God with the wisdom of men.  We are not supposed to be building a church, that was never anything God told us to do.  This is a tough truth for many to swallow that believe and want to make the road to eternal life very broad.

Paul gave us very good insight into what is meant by fleeing from Babylon when he wrote to the early church at Corinth.  He feared for these earlier believers because many were still practicing sin and were mingling and fellowshipping with people who did not know God and consequently they were being corrupted.

2 Corinthians 6:14 - Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness? 15 And what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever? 16 And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God.

Therefore Come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord.
Do not touch what is unclean, and I will receive you.  I  will be a Father to you,
and you shall be My  sons and daughters, says the LORD Almighty.”

Paul told us to separate from those that call themselves brothers and that also practice sin.

Ephesians 5:7 Therefore do not be partakers with them

1 Corinthians 5:11 But now I have written to you not to keep company with anyone named a brother, who is sexually immoral, or covetous, or an idolater, or a reviler, or a drunkard, or an extortioner—not even to eat with such a person.

Babylon Promotes Idolatry

Babylon is a spiritual mindset where idolatry is promoted and perfectly acceptable to its inhabitants.  It is perfectly okay in Babylon to have Jesus plus other things in your heart.  Those that have the mark of the beast carry idols in their hearts, yet God said He wanted 100% of it, not just a portion.   Babylon says Jesus will share your heart with other idols, things such as sin,  worldly lusts, objects, reputations and even church doctrines.  Paul warned the church about such folly.

1 Corinthians 10:12-14 So, if you think you are standing firm, be careful that you don’t fall! 13No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it. Therefore, my dear friends, flee from idolatry.

An idol is anything that has a place in your heart that you love more than God.  We provoke God to jealousy when we have idols in our hearts.  If we do not flee Babylon,  eventually our hearts will become so hardened by sin and rebellion that the WORD will no longer be able to heal us.  We need to get out of Babylon before the God Sent Delusion comes upon us.   Man has played the harlot, creating religion, building organizations, constructing big palaces ( fortified towers) which deceive people into loving the system and the assembly more than God and His Word.

Revelation 13 tells us the enemy comes disguised with two horns like a lamb yet speaks like a dragon.  The false prophets come under the guise of religion yet they deceive the whole world.

Jeremiah 7:4  Do not trust in deceptive words, saying, ‘This is the temple of the LORD, the temple of the LORD, the temple of the LORD.’

Going to a building once a week has nothing to do with true salvation.  We should fellowship, absolutely but we can’t elevate this encouragement above the call to purity.  If we put our trust in religion and the assembly houses we call church today,  and do not purify our minds and our hearts but trust in a false peace and security,  we are in Babylon and what happened to Shiloh will happen again.

Jeremiah 7:14 I will do to the house which is called by My name, in which you trust, and to the place which I gave you and your fathers, as I did to Shiloh.   The account is in 1 Samuel 4, but to suffice it to say the people of God did not keep covenant with God and rested on their laurels of being God’s people.  They forgot the little part about obeying God.

What Babylon Is Not

Very many people see Babylon as America.  Babylon is not a country or a nation the way we think of nations today.    It is not America even though a case can be made by interpreting the prophecies as natural signs rather than spiritual ones.   I just read a very interesting book THE END OF AMERICA that lays out the case for why America is Babylon and suggests specific times and events that should trigger a mass exodus of Americans to foreign countries.  I don’t doubt such a migration will happen or that the USA won’t be hit with nuclear bombs at some point which this book speaks in detail – but I  doubt the identity of America as Babylon.  Many see Zechariah’s flying scrolls as nuclear missiles coming to destroy America in one hour.  I see them as false words coming as a curse against the fallen apostate “church” of Babylon.

If we are truly in Christ Jesus what do we have to fear besides the LORD?  God is in control and if He wants to take us home early,  then to die is gain didn’t Paul tell us?  I am human and I do not want to die but I know that the life lived here is just a stepping stone to the gift of eternal life promised by God.  I am trusting that if He wants me to flee either physically or spiritually from any place that the Holy Spirit will tell me to flee.  That is what the sons of God do, they are led by the Spirit of God.  I don’t recall Jesus giving us many examples of fleeing to avoid persecution by the world even telling us we would be hated and that many would be killed by others thinking they are doing a service for God.

Babylon is not a religious denomination.   God saves people not men and just as going to church does not save anyone, going to an apostate church does not in and by itself condemn anyone either.  God looks to our hearts to judge all men.  I like to use Mother Theresa to make this point.  While I have no doubt the Catholic Church is apostate and has departed far from the truth,  Mother Theresa was a saint.  She came out and was separate from the ways of the world.  Her heart was pure before God,  she humbled herself and obeyed God walking as Jesus walked.  Her ministry was not one of admonishment or prophecy,  it was one of sowing love and compassion.  That is every bit as important a ministry as the role of a watchman or a preacher called of God.

1 Corinthians 12:4-5 Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit. And there are varieties of ministries, and the same Lord

The soul that sins shall die.  Yet God protects His own — those that walk in covenant.   When we walk in covenant with the Lord, we do not and in fact CANNOT practice sin.  So fleeing something in the natural such as America or a church membership doesn’t address the issue of sin and judgment.  We are told to flee Babylon so we will not be partakers of her sins.  Babylon obviously describes a place where sin is practiced.  That is in our hearts.   Those Born of God, are given a new heart and DO NOT PRACTICE SIN and they come out of Babylon.

1 John 3:9 Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God

So fleeing Babylon is really talking about making our hearts pure before the Lord.  We must guard our hearts from idols and purify ourselves just as Christ is pure.

When To Flee Babylon

As we repent and turn our heart fully to God, God takes away our blindness to spiritual truths.  As we learn obedience more and more by the things we suffer in the flesh,  God reveals more of Himself to us.  It is all in God’s timing.   The time to flee Babylon is when God tells you to get out.  If one is truly Born of God,  I believe the Spirit will lead you out just as an angel led Lot out of Sodom.  Speaking of the end times, Jesus said this:

Matthew 24:15 Therefore when you see the ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION which was spoken of through Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place let the reader understand,  16then those who are in Judea must flee to the mountains17“Whoever is on the housetop must not go down to get the things out that are in his house. 18“Whoever is in the field must not turn back to get his cloak.

The Preterist will tell us this verse spoke about what happened in 70 AD.  I don’t disagree with that but I do believe it has application and is a spiritual lesson for us to heed today in the end times.  When Jesus reveals to us the mysteries of His Kingdom, including the mystery of lawlessness,   then we are to flee from Babylon.  Jesus was not talking about physically packing up and moving, He was speaking of spiritual actions, another words A CHANGE OF HEART AND FOCUS OF YOUR MIND.   Remember Lot’s wife Jesus told us.  She turned her heart back into the world and was destroyed.

If we are in the midst of apostasy and religious deception, our deeds may very well be impacted by the false gospel.  We have a choice to make when Jesus opens our eyes and shows us the truth.  We can stay in Babylon and remain comfortable (relatively speaking) and not disrupt our lives, our friends, our habits, our interests and let the approval of men and family continue to be elevated over the approval of God; or we can choose to trust God fully and speak the Word in season and out of season, more importantly living it by example and invite the condemnation and hatred of the world upon us.  This is why the road to life is so difficult and narrow that we must strive to get on it by paying the cost of true discipleship. Few are willing to do this.  Jesus said we would not be worthy of Him if we make such a choice.

How Babylon Is Destroyed

Babylon is destroyed because of sin.  The opening passage from Revelation 18 tells us the angel said to come out so we would not be partakers of her sin and receive the plagues of judgment, which is God’s righteous judgment.  Deception is how destruction comes.  That is the flood of lies.  God makes the people of Babylon drunk with religious doctrine that accomodates sin.

Jeremiah 51:57 I will make her princes and her wise men drunk, her governors, her prefects and her mighty men, that they may sleep a perpetual sleep and not wake up,”  Declares the King, whose name is the LORD of hosts.

God is not going to bring judgment by getting people drunk with alcohol.  I hope you see that this refers to false doctrine or in other words religious deception.  Babylon is destroyed as a result of spiritual drunkenness.  This is the end time FLOOD and the God Sent delusion that comes to all that love and practice sin.  People in Babylon stumble in the daylight over the ROCK that has become an offence to them.  They do not want to stop sinning, they don’t want to carry a cross daily.  They want to be lord over their live and just say Jesus is Lord with their lips.  As a result of sin, God sends the enemy to take the people captive.

Lamentations 1:5 Her adversaries have become her masters, her enemies prosper; for the LORD has caused her grief because of the multitude of her transgressions; her little ones have gone away as captives before the adversary.

The powers of darkness are the locusts, they bring the judgment and roar in conquest over Babylon and its inhabitants.  This truth about the enemy is the truth that should elevate the fear of God and compel people to come out of Babylon.  God said we would understand it in the end.  Speaking out on this truth,  doesn’t win and influence very many worldly friends.  In the mainstream American churches,  you can’t talk about the devil except for the idea of one guy with a red tail and a pitchfork that is nothing for you to worry about.  People are being destroyed because of ignorance to the truth.

Jeremiah 50:41 “Behold, a people is coming from the north, and a great nation and many kings will be aroused from the remote parts of the earth. They seize their bow and javelin; they are cruel and have no mercy.  Their voice roars like the sea; and they ride on horses,  marshalled like a man for the battle against you, O daughter of Babylon.

Jeremiah 51:6 Babylon has been a golden up in the hand of the LORD,   Intoxicating all the earth.  The nations have drunk of her wine;  Therefore the nations are going mad.

Jeremiah 51:14 The LORD of hosts has sworn by Himself:   ”Surely I will fill you with a population like locusts, and they will cry out with shouts of victory over you.” Everyone needs to study Jeremiah 50-51 and Lamentations very carefully.  This speaks to what is going to happen to the end time Babylon, the fallen apostate church of the end

The Great Millstone

I chose the picture of the space rock splashing into the sea to depict a visual understanding of how Babylon is destroyed.

Revelation 18:21 Then a strong angel took up a stone like a great millstone and threw it into the sea, saying, “So will Babylon, the great city, be thrown down with violence, and will not be found any longer.

Millstones were used in windmills and watermills, for grinding wheat or other grains.  It was how raw grains were processed to create edible food.  The reference to a millstone is a signficant clue into the spiritual message about Babylon.   The inhabitants of Babylon and this gathering of spirits serve and eat a sweet tasting false gospel that does not conform one to godliness.  This sweet honey like bread are delicasies that later turn bitter and do not nourish the soul.   The grace of God is implicitly packaged and sold as a license for sin or immorality.  God says He blinds people who practice sin even saying that in the end He would send strong delusion upon all that practice unrighteousness and love not the truth to be saved.  This includes you, me and everyone.

The word “violence” in the spiritual sense is perversion of theWORD of God.  I don’t have space to branch into that, but look in the Prophets for the word violence and the priests doing violence in the sanctuary and you may just see some new truth.  Babylon is thrown down by violence which is twisting of the truth for following the voice of the false prophets, not by nuclear bombs falling from the sky.  The final destruction of Babylon is when the millstone, the bad food factory, is thrown into the sea.  This is the God sent delusion, when the apostate church is consumed by the powers of darkness, which are the roaring sea throughout the Scriptures.  Interestingly,  Jeremiah spoke of the falling of Babylon and when done, was told to tie the scroll to a stone and throw it into the river.  This verse also helps confirms that the judgments spoken of against Babylon apply to the end time Babylon of today.

Jeremiah 51:63 When you finish reading this scroll, tie a stone to it and throw it into the Euphrates. 64 Then say, ‘So will Babylon sink to rise no more because of the disaster I will bring upon her. And her people will fall.’ “

Sadly, fallen fallen is Babylon the Great.  Most people that call themselves Christians are being cut down and destroyed for defilement of God’s temple.  They have been deceived.  Leaving Babylon is all about avoiding being swept away by the flood of deception that brings about the end.  The powers of darkness are the sea or the river (many waters) that Babylon is thrown into.

Babylon here is referred to as a great city whereas it is also called a mother and a woman.  Just like the true spiritual Jerusalem is referred to as a “city”, a woman and a mother, the false spiritual Jerusalem shares all of these definitions also.  There is the church Jesus builds and there is the church that Satan builds.  Those in Babylon worship the image of Satan.  The cups may be clean on the outside, but those in Babylon are defiled with impurity and carry the mark of their god which is the beast.

The event of the millstone being thrown into the sea is symbolic and not literal.   I believe this  “event” is right on the horizon.  The security of the big buildings, large congregations, ear tickling gospel and of course the uplifting music has brought a false peace.  This harlot church sits on many waters and dwells securely in the land; but not for much longer.

 Flee from Babylon.

May God Bless You Richly!

Wow! This explains my journey with TMH! I’m in awe and so grateful! He woke me up and told me to do certain things, I did them because I learned to fear Him. And seeing everything He told me to do was to save me from the plagues and destruction. I owe Him everything. He unplugged me from the system and plugged me into Him. Now I see I must lead others as He lead me. I cannot comprehend in full this wide vastness of unconditional love. I have never known anything so true. I’m in love with love. God is love.

    Dear Stanley,

Well said. The USA has more babylonian “churches” than all the world combined. It is the leader in evangelizing the World to religion of MAN. TBN being the largest cult. Led by the trinity demon.
The USA has to murder USAma. Why?

It’s important to see in John 9 that the blind man upon healing thought Jesus was a prophet. Not untill he was thrown out of their church did Jesus reveal Himself to him and then he worshiped Him. –And Jesus said to them,’ If you were blind, you would have no sin; but since you say, ‘We see’, your sin remains.’ We would all do well to understand that saying. Good direction Charles, as understanding this chapter is understanding some of the works of God and the harlot. Grace and peace.

babylon is both a literal city/nation/kingdom and a system. there are no contradictions in scripture so that means it is both a kingdom and a system- both future tense in scripture- which means NOW. one will fall the other goes on until the end. hint hint: the literal physical kingdom is NOT “over there in the middle east somewhere”. denial is a powerful drug

    Brothers and Sisters,
If we may look at babylon once more in these writtings so that we can see this cheap harlot of self in the following Illustrations.
It is so important to Identify this spiritual filth because she can seduce us as individuals into lying down with her.
She is so clever that a whole world ( except for the elect ) defiles itself with her on a regular basis.

Example:Read about the blind man in John chapter nine. read about how he was healed from his “blindness” physicaly and spiritualy.Read how he was allowed to see spiritualy what his mother, father and the pharisee’s could not see.
Look at how his parents coudn’t give up their self made approach created by the pharisee’s.Remember when the disciples held back or denied access to the childern and how Jesus corrected them ? Men of self want to stand in between you and God and want you to use them as a way of approach to God.
The parents were convinced in their hearts by a lying spirit that the pharisses regulated access to God. They believed there was no other approach to God except through this religious system. They were spiritualy blinded because they were not connected to God.
The gospel can be so hard to understand and yet it can be so simple.
It is hard to understand without spiritual eyesight and much more simple if we are 100% dependent upon him. Saul the fleshman was a very intelectual, knowledgable person being well educated and schooled in the old testament by the pharissee’s. But all of his intelect and knowledge could not give him understanding only God can do that. Not untill God began giving him Understanding did he become Paul the spiritual man. God says “call unto me” and he WILL give by dependency in him the understanding that we need (Jer.33:3 ).
In John 9:35 in regards to the blindman it says that Jesus had heard that they had cast him out ( what a blessing! ). Jesus can’t help but hear because when you are kicked out of the bed of the harlot for telling her the truth you are in the best possible situation spiritualy.
Because guess what my friends , Jesus comes looking for YOU!
You don’t find him, he finds YOU!
Then the time for understanding, and submission comes.
Then Jesus enters the “KINGDOM WITHIN ” and sits upon the throne of your heart as Lord and master.
Dear friends there is only one throne within the “KINGDOM WITHIN”.
We cannot keep pulling Christ off this throne and replace him with the “Harlot of SELF” to fit our wants desires of our flesh.
We cannot reach into the devils toolbox of Self/hate on one particular day of tribulation and then back to Gods toolbox of love when the waters are calm.
God says if we do that he will sprew us from his mouth and we will be eternaly seperated from him.
We must put the WORD ( His presence ) down inside of our ” KINGDOM WITHIN ” and operate on it . We have no other choice if we want to spend eternaty with him.
God bless us to keep and do his truths, Jer 33:3

@Charles Amen brother. I am coming more and more into the realization of the spiritual boundaries of Babylon and the place we occupy in our hearts. Where self is exalted or the focus of attention, we are in Babylon regardless of what building or country we are standing physcially in at the moment. I have sojourned thru many of the hills and mountains of Babylon in the past, but now I see the road that leads to Zion. Like that stupid bull, I misconstrued who my real enemy was and attacked flesh and blood and did not fight with the spiritual weapons that only Jesus can give us.

‘The image is of some worth to ‘the god of self’.’

    Proofreading helps : )

  9. September 12, 2011 9:36 PM

One can also say that Babylon is the image of godliness and man’s love of this image over God. The image of some worth to ‘the god of self’.

Bro’ Charles, your message is God’s confirmation to me of what I had learned last night about the same things spoken.

  10. September 12, 2011 8:06 PM

On my previous post I need to correct the following . Cain’s “EARTHLY” sacrifice of vegtables and not abel. It pays to proof read before posting. God Bless JER33:3

    Thank you Brother Pete,
It is like eating a smokeing hot plate full of roast and potatoes smothered in gravy when hearing the truth. No bones I may add.
I always want to bring our life expieriences to the table when speaking about Gods WORD.
I have learned the most from adversity and my enemies . they have brought me to a higher level in my relationship with the Lord.
As one person put it, ” if it weren’t for the enemies of Christ there would have been no one to take him to the cross.
Babylon has been my enemy and has taken me through the wilderness of “Sin ” and my own self made approach to God.It has also brought me to the promised land.
It is good to reconize your enemy , to know who he is and where he is at.
Not untill you you know those things about your enemy are you then able to defeat him.
Example: Years ago on wide world of sports they used to have bullfights on t.v.
The bull would run at the bullfighters cape as the matador plunged swords down into the animal. With each charge the animal became weaker and weaker untill the last sword of death was plunged into the “BEAST”.
If that dumb ” BEAST ” would have known who his real enemy was he would have ran right over him.
Let us define what babylon is so that we do not act as the aboved described dumb “BEAST”.
First let us go over who God is to prepare us with the spiritual eyesight to see who babylon really is.
God is not peace, joy, gentleness ,patience etc.
It says in the Word that God is LOVE.
All of the above fruits peace , joy gentleness, patience, etc.simply flow from LOVE.
Love always produces these fruits out of giving , It can’t help but to produce these fruits.
Now lets define babylon in that same light.
Babylon is not the catholic church , denomenatinal church , hindo or muslem religion etc.
Babylon is a demonic spirit of SELF made approach to God that has us lean upon our own understanding.
What is produced as a result from a self made approach to God is catholocism , denomenational chuches, hindo or muslim religions “CONFUSION”..
It is a dark spiritual force that is not limited to these above mention dissolutioned masses.
Babylon most certainly can be in a individuals heart, a bible discussion group or it’s leader. IT is not reserved for the masses.
Pride , self righteousness ,puffed up knowledge ,greed, etc provide fertile ground for the seeds of babylon to grow within the heart of man.
Remember nimrod , he wanted to build a “BUILDING” (sound familar ) as his own self made approach to God.He thought he could build that “THING” high enough that he could come into the presence of God. Men have not for one minute stopped building a sense knowledge, intellectual , faithless approach to God since abel’s basket of “EARTHLY” vegtables. We have to approach God the way he says , not our way.
Think about it as a child approaching an earthly father.
He lets us know real quick what is proper and what is not.
God bless you in the correct approach to the Father, Jer 33:3

Concerning the SDA………………………beware and research them.
    Investigative Judgement.
They set dates……………..Christ did not come back.
So they assumed Sunday worship bad…….millerites did this.
Now……….many millerites upon missing the mark came to the adventists.
The adventist too had hit the mark on date setting.
They missed it……………..then upon so called revealing of the Holy Spirit.
They claimed on Oct of 1844 that they had been right. But that the place was wrong.
That this was when he entered the Holiest of Holies. Look it up.
Tis false leading the blind. Dont panic. The jews did not even have names for the day of the week. That was Rome, English etc.
So no worries. Let no man judge you in meat, drink , holy day, Sabbath days. etc.
But run fast from the adventists they preach the Sabbath……….not Christ.
Some …………i dont know about all.
But like the Jehovas and Sda and Mormons all were of false origin and or date setters.
Steer clear. Its the whole truth…………..or run from any one.
Let us all just seek diligentely the Lord.

@Mindy The Sabbath as defined under the Old Covenant was elevated to be our rest in Jesus Christ. Romans 10:4 Christ is the END of the LAW for righteousness. I did not fully understand this when I wrote my post about the law a couple of years ago. Jesus is the LORD of the Sabbath. When we enter into and possess the land, having a pure heart in Christ, we have died to self and are a new creation led by the Holy Spirit. That is the easy yoke and light burden. Keep the Saturday Sabbath is you wish, in all you do, do it unto the Lord and He will honor and sanctify it. My clarity on this point was brought home in this post (see link below) that brought much persecution from those wanting to add the LAW to JESUS. Salvation is Jesus plus nothing else. We instinctively obey His commandments (not the 10 commandments given Moses) when we are led by the Spirit of God.

    http://truthinscripture.com/2011/05/05/the-law-of-the-spirit-of-life/

The SDAs are right on very many things but they are wrong on this point. The sign of God’s people is not the Sabbath. The perpetual and everlasting covenant given to Abraham, the father of all faith as spelled out in Genesis 17 was the sign of circumcision. Of course that sign is spiritual, a circumcision of the heart. The people of God are exactly as God told to Abraham from many nations, tribes and tongues. Go reread Genesis 17 and you will see. This was before the LAW came. The Law was a schoolmaster to bring us to Christ. Christ has Come. Praise God!

ROMANS 2:28 A person is not a Jew who is one only outwardly, nor is circumcision merely outward and physical. No, a person is a Jew who is one inwardly; and circumcision is circumcision of the heart, by the Spirit, not by the written code.

I was watching videos today and it brought to my mind on what the SDA’s state that the Sunday worship, not keeping Saturday as the Sabbath, is the mark of the Beast. I am curious, as I believe it was abolished, however they state the Catholic church says that it is their ‘mark of authority’ when they changed Saturday Sabbath to Sunday worship, what is your take on this? It has me confused again and sort of scared now to maybe reconsider keeping Saturday Sabbath to be safe. God bless and I loved this blog post, as the others you have posted. I am learning much here.

Darryl, we all were sleeping. There is nothing wrong with pastors if they are connected and teaching what the true vine reveals. It is unlikely to be popular and build the kind of big numbers and followings most churches have. I know there are some good ones but very few.

We must wait patiently for our Shepherd to gather us ontu himself, but for meanwhile lets use this technology called the internet to fellowship and to edify eachother. Seeing that we are surrouded by armies of darknesss from every side this tells us that our King is coming soon. Hope to be a blessing to every member of the Body Of Christ, talk to all soon. I can relate to that. Pastors think you’re a Heretic. They call you are legalistic. That say you are trying to put people back under the law. They hate when you talk about holiness. They like to call people Christians who are not. Sad day for the church when we hate holiness and love in after all, “We are all just a bunch of sinners, saved by grace.” :(

I find it dificult to even be part of these churches. Every time I think of the order of sevice of these places it reminds me of Daniel’s babylon. Bowing down to a man on top of a altar with steps for man to walk on top is an abomination. Exodus 20:26 Neither shalt thou go up by steps unto mine altar, that thy nakedness be not discovered thereon. I take this scripture pretty serious ,and to make it even worse they do it to the sounds of every instrument of music. Doesn’t that sound like babylon in Daniel’s experience. The order of worship is set up in a way to worship the image of the beast, meaning that beast worship could be manifest in different ways. Im going trough a difficult time with members of my family as I try to explain this to them. They say Im rebellious and not submissive to church athourity. I guess this comes with terrotory to be labeld as a heretic, but getting use to be missunderstood by church goers. Good people are still in these churches and God will call them out also. But as for us that God calld out lets stay out and dont turn back. God bless

I believe these kings of the east (Rev 16) march into Babylon and destroy it. This is spiritual judgment from a holy and righteous God. I see these kings as spiritual kings. The kings of pride, greed, selfishness, coveteousness, etc. Satan has a kingdom with many nations. Daniel’s angel was held back by the Prince of Persia. Why we do not know all about this, there is an unseen force and that is who the enemy of the people of God is, it is not flesh and blood. These “rulers” and principalities are seen here in Ephesians. This is who we are fighting, not men.

Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

  21. February 18, 2011 8:00 AM

I don’t really disagree, most all churches are apostate and represent Babylon, but there are still some out there that are not. I recall God saying He would not destroy Sodom if just 5 righteous were found in it, so something in me tells me there are some righteous folks in man’s churches that just have not seen the truth yet. So I was a bit cautious in throwing the baby out with the bath water. What is in our hearts is the plumb line, not where we spend a hour on Sunday. God will awaken who He will awaken. I have been seeing who the Kings of the East are? Aren’t they Pride, Greed, Hate, Divinination, Infirmity, Unforgiveness, another words the principalities and powers in the heavenlies that are aligned with Satan and the spiritual forces of evil? We keep looking for physical kings, when these spiritual kings are already killing the people in Babylon.

I agree with about everything you are saying. There is some I do not agree with. We must remember that if we do not come out of Babylon we will partake of her plagues. I actually fear for the people experiencing those plaques. But I guess I have to see it is God’s design for those who desire to stay in Babylon to have the plaques happen to them.

I do believe this means leaving the institional churches altogether. I don’t even go back into them for anyone or any reason, including funerals. What are the plaques she is having? The plaques are actually caused by the demons in these so called “churches”. They can be anything from cancer, to horrible sicknesses like anerxia, and death is definitely one of the plagues. You see it really isn’t possible anymore for a real christian to live long in these false fallen away churches. The demons will attack them and kill them, that is one really good reason to leave Babylon (AKA churches). It is truly really much worse than anyone thinks and you should not go back into the Babylon institional churches for any reason at all, not even for loneliness.

I can see what you say about the mark of the beast in our forehead and that spiritually we have that mark if we remain in Babylon (false fallen away churches). But I also believe there will be a real mark some day that they will require people to take to buy and sell. I believe that the real city of Babylon in Iraq will also be destroyed again too. Did you know that after Bush invaded Iraq that the US has now built its largest US embassy in Babylon and it is up and functioning. The new media hasn’t even mentioned it at all, no one knows anything about it.

So America with all its false churches, dotted with them all around her countryside, is also really over in the real city of Iraq now too. This is not a coincodence. I believe the antichrist will probably live in Babylon. I believe the real city of Babylon will finally be destroyed again when Jesus returns with His feet set upon the Mount of Olives. I believe it will be destroyed and never inhabited ever again. Spiritual Babylon will be destroyed as well as the real city of Babylon in the North will be destroyed again too.

The bible says that the 10 kings that reign for one hour with the antichrist will destroy the spiritual Babylon, I believe. I believe the 10 kings have it in their heart to destroy all the churches around the world and they will during their reign. God is going to use these 10 kings to fulfill their destruction.

Pete, Thank you for being a Watchman! I agree with you, “Babylon cannot be healed but individuals can be healed if they flee from Babylon.” I have tried to talk with those involved and they are not interested in changing the system. We get accused of “being divisive, of tearing down the Body of Christ, being unloving, being a legalistic. Yet they can never refute the truth that was spoken to them.
1 Timothy 6:3 NLT Some people may contradict our teaching, but these are the wholesome teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ. These teachings promote a godly life. False Doctrine does not promote Holy Living. If fact it makes excuses for sinful living. What does Paul tell Timothy and to do? How should he Respond to these false Teachers?
1 Timothy 6:3-6 ” If anyone teaches otherwise and does not consent to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which accords with godliness, ……… From such withdraw yourself.“

2 Timothy 3:1-5 “But know this, that in the last days …. For men will be lovers of themselves,……, 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!”
If your church is not helping you to be a more dedicated disciple of the Lord Jesus Christ— FLEE! “Go to those who are “Calling upon the Name of the LORD!”

  24. November 21, 2010 2:28 AM

Yea I saw your post on Rev 14 about the extreme wrath on the false workers/teachers and agree with it. I was initially in the anti church at all costs camp and maybe I have softened too much. I clearly won’t hang out with people practicing sin and sexual immorality but if they are just a few in a 1000 member congregation, do I throw the baby out with bath water? That was my issue, make a righteous judgment about individuals based on fruit verus letting one bad apple spoil the entire barrel and chuch all the apples away?

I came out of a period of judgmentalism where I found myself judging anyone’s heart who went to a harlot church building. I felt the spirit leading me away from that and it has brought me more peace and has actually allowed me to minister to more people in a gentler way. I am against the system and see the deception behind the doctrines but have to draw the line with flesh and blood, which are battle is not with. I continue to seek wisdom on this.

By the way. I have left this system. I do not go except very rarely to support someone, for instance a local friend who has late stage cancer and asked me to go with her, or a funeral etc. IT has gotten pretty lonely here in town if you know what I mean

    Pete,
I understand that it is difficult to leave. I was the leader of a team that ran the sound, setting up a high school cafeteria for services every week. But the Lord warned me that there would be a time when I could not longer serve there. At that time I knew there were serious problems with church structure, but had not yet identified her as Babylon, nor had I fully understood the priest class as the abomination. The Lord got me started working on the web page and I started asking the leadership to explain why they refused to follow the gathering commands – even at the mid week services and how they could continuing to ask for tithes. Despite my service and key leadership role I never received a coherent response. That’s when the Lord opened my eyes to the evil that was there all along. Evil that I had been helping to grow. I knew what the spirit was telling me, that this was the time, so I left.

I really like this section from above – “How Babylon is Destroyed”
“This is the end time FLOOD and the God Sent delusion that comes to all that love and practice sin. People in Babylon stumble in the daylight over the ROCK that has become an offense to them. They do not want to stop sinning, they don’t want to carry a cross daily. They want to be lord over their live and just say Jesus is Lord with their lips. As a result of sin, God sends the enemy to take the people captive.”

But I don’t fully agree with this section:
“We are told to flee Babylon so we will not be partakers of her sins. Babylon obviously describes a place where sin is practiced. That is in our hearts. Those Born of God, are given a new heart and DO NOT PRACTICE SIN and they come out of Babylon.”

Yes, sin is practiced in our hearts, so we have to turn from individual sin, but God requires a holy worship gathering.

NLT 1 Cor5: 9 When I wrote to you before, I told you not to associate with people who indulge in sexual sin. 10 But I wasn’t talking about unbelievers who indulge in sexual sin, or are greedy, or cheat people, or worship idols. You would have to leave this world to avoid people like that. 11 I meant that you are not to associate with anyone who claims to be a believer[j] yet indulges in sexual sin, or is greedy, or worships idols, or is abusive, or is a drunkard, or cheats people. Don’t even eat with such people.

12 It isn’t my responsibility to judge outsiders, but it certainly is your responsibility to judge those inside the church who are sinning. 13 God will judge those on the outside; but as the Scriptures say, “You must remove the evil person from among you.”

These people who are to be shunned from the worship, these people who continue sinning unto death. will spoil the worship of the entire gathering.

    http://thebigpicmin.wordpress.com/2010/08/20/the-sin-that-leads-to-death-continuing-in-blatant-willful-outward-sin/

    http://thebigpicmin.wordpress.com/2009/03/12/wrong-teaching-and-useless-worship/

I understand that God has us all on a different course, so please keep seeking and following!

PS. I was going over Rev 13 and 14 and think that I see something new. God’s fiercest wrath is not for all with the mark of the Beast [I think ordination in any Nicolaitan priesthood], bot for those with the mark AND worshiping the beast. I think this passage shows us what worshipping the beast is:

NLT Rev 13: 14 And with all the miracles he was allowed to perform on behalf of the first beast, he deceived all the people who belong to this world. He ordered the people to make a great statue of the first beast, who was fatally wounded and then came back to life. 15 He was then permitted to give life to this statue so that it could speak. Then the statue of the beast commanded that anyone refusing to worship it must die.

This last section of Rev 13:15 sounds to me like the doctrine of requiring a Priest-class covering. Let’s look at the

NKJV Rev 14:9 Then a third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, “If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives his mark on his forehead or on his hand, 10 he himself shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out full strength into the cup of His indignation. He shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. 11 And the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever; and they have no rest day or night, who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name.”

So I’m thinking that this harshest wrath may line up with the stricter judgment for Church leaders. I think that ordained ministers who teach folks that they must worship under their covering [that of the priest class Beast] will be tormented with fire eternally.
    Make sense??
    God Bless

  26. November 16, 2010 11:02 PM

Glen, I will have to check out your posts on this topic. I need to separate, and it is hard to do, that our battle is not against flesh and blood but against the powers of darkness, the enemy. So I found myself feeling outside the will of God (not bearing love but judgment) when I was lulled into strongly criticizing anyone and everyone that went to these churches. I felt conviction even though I knew these churches were teaching a false jesus and a different gospel. But think about this. In the same way the real church is not counted in a building, the false church is also not counted in a building per se. It is what is in the hearts of the people that matters. The true saints are gathering at Mt. Zion, the spiritual place where Jesus returns. Our hearts are the temple of God and the abomination is in our hearts, not in a physical setting like a building with a steeple on top. That being said, there are some good churches and many pastors that speak the truth, albiet relatively few from my understanding.

I do consider my ministry one of a watchman. I have gently shown some local folks the truth and I am seeing some awakening but not in most. Perhaps I am not being bold enough and I am hiding behind the comfort living in a peaceful setting and not rocking the boat. It is a lot easier to be bold online than it is to do it face to face. I have prayerfully considered this and am constantly drawn to Jonah and his story, so your question is a good one and I await clearer direction as I am equally as concerned about unwittingly becoming an evil judge of hearts.

    Thanks for the input.

    Pete and Tim,
Very interesting discussions. I think [looking at your posts] you both understand that today’s priest class and their rule over the laity is not only un-biblical, it is the abomination that stands in the holy place [where it should not stand] spoiling the daily sacrifice [the Holy set apart worship of Christ's disciples]. If we agree on these points, how can you not discourage folks from attending The Church Nourished From The Face Of The Serpent?

    http://thebigpicmin.wordpress.com/2009/04/25/the-church-nourished-from-the-face-of-the-serpent/

Don’t we have a watchman role?? Couldn’t God hold us responsible for those that we fail to warn???

I know very few church goers able to understand these truths, still I think it is imperative [even at the risk of sounding like a lunatic] that we warn them. I’m concerned that there may be very little time left. I am sorely lacking in ability still I have felt the call to post this timeline [btw really seeking comments corrections on these!!!!]

    http://thebigpicmin.wordpress.com/2009/08/21/phrophesy-timeline/

Perhaps I have been throwing my negative judgments at people.

I know that when we pray that God would throw this mountain this false church deception into the sea, this miracle will happen!!

Pray with me and God Bless!

Loretta, interestingly enough, I found your new site last nite and was moved by some of your posts. I am in a struggle on leaving the institution completely. My heart is clearly not there yet my physical presence is still there at times, — if only to support my family who does not yet see the truth of Babylon. I by no means want to rationalize going against God’s commandments so I continue to pray for truth. I see it kind of like, I am in the world but not of the world. I at times go to an institution, but I am not of the institution. Your street ministry efforts via your Witnessing Encouragement site is awesome. I was just in the Bay Area last week on business and thought of you.

I have been very helped by the few articles that I have read so far (a while back). I was released from the institutional system in Dec/Jan 2010 and still am de-churching and detoxing… as I lived in Babylon for 26 years… He has brought me back to my First Love and has exploded open to me, wonderful things that I never saw (and was never taught of course) before and I am very thankful. I’m journaling some of this in my new blog http://www.revivemeolord.wordpress.com where i hope to provide like encouragement for others following the Lamb wherever He goes, on the narrow way.

I do not have a blog, i have debated back and forth for many reasons. I agree totally, i know nothing, just a speck of dust. I am learning much from your blog, its fitting pieces together well.
A couple of things started thinking about in regards to eating the book & repenting, when we believe (eat) repent, then out of the belly flows rivers of living water (John 7:38).
It also reminds me of the verses in regards to “their god is their belly”. I started thinking, remember when Jesus said to the pharisees, their father was the devil? Well when you do a good study on Baal worship it has to do with worshipping self, so if your god is your belly, your worshipping self, & He causes you to eat of Him and repent. Hence flow living waters from the belly instead.
Just pondering on some thoughts here.
Yes, we are to eat from the tree of Life, that is the only tree I want. This tree is planted by living waters, firmly, never to thirst or hunger again.
What is going on within the body is no different than the children of Israel in the wilderness, He is giving them what they want “quail”, and they are choking on it, the Manna from Heaven is not good enough.
    Blessings!

Mic 6:8 He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?

Thank you Melissa. We need to be eating the good seed and get it to take root in our heart. From there we will bear much grain and fruit. I learn a lot from those seeking the truth that comment here and elsewhere. I learn very little when it becomes a chest beating doctrine debating, prideful game of who is right. As brother Milton Green said often, I know enough to know that I don’t know enough.

Check out this in Jeremiah 15:16.

Your words were found, and I ate them, and your words became to me a joy and the delight of my heart, for I am called by your name, O LORD, God of hosts.

We are to become the book, not by carnal knowledge, but spiritually. I am called by HIS Name, I am HIS. My heart delights in that, even though it was bitter when I took it and ate it. I also believe that is the double edged sword (i just started that study).

I am wondering if we all can blog, I noticed some others mentioning blogging, & then connect as a webring? We are all seeing things and He’s clearly putting pieces together with each other. I love Him so much~

    Many Blessings~

Hi Melissa. I had never thought of the books/scrolls being eaten the way you describe. I have always thought of these “words” that get eaten as the false gospel (cotton candy) that turns bitter as it does not save or change us. The true gospel does not please flesh and that is why it is not taught my men driven by selfish ambition. They would rather tickle ears, build larger numbers, make a name of themselves etc then go around speaking the truth. All the prophets and apostles and of course Jesus were killed by religious people for speaking the true gospel. I may be crazy but I saw Rev 10 about God showing John the mystery of lawlessness, with the strong angel being Satan and the book being the false gospel that would deceive the whole world. that post was the Angel and the Little Book.

I want to go study this again with your understanding on my mind. I see how it fits with repentance. I will let you know what I think. Jesus bless you.

From what He has shown me is it is our own hearts & the pride there of (babylon), its a “strong city”. I was led to this Psalm regarding David in which he says

Psa 31:21 Blessed be the LORD: for he hath shewed me his marvellous kindness in a strong city.

Marvellous are thy works (the works are in our hearts), these are the marvellous works spoken of by those that sing the song of Moses (parallel for Jesus) at the throne, for we see our own corrupt heart, repent, fear and awe & the Glory of Him. (Revelation 15).

Jesus IS the Spirit of Prophecy according to Revelation 19. I am led to believe to that we are to eat the book as Ezekiel and John both did, it is sweet to taste, but bitter to the belly, for it causes us to repent and turn to Him.

    Pete,
Great article. I will link to it at some point if that’s ok.
I want to commend you on the opening paragraph, copied below and pray that others are wise in this day.

You say “A sister in Christ asked a question about what we are actually fleeing from when we obey God and leave Babylon. We can judge doctrine and we can judge sin, but we cannot judge the hearts of another man”

Well said. I am ever mindful of reading blogs and posts that come from a critical spirit. It is a trap we can all fall into and I have learned over the years that posts and blogs from people who seemingly have the best of intention, can come from an underlying spirit of hurt, bitterness or unforgiveness and will invariably head down the wrong path.

I am convinced that if our intentions toward the body of Christ are based on a desire for the good of others, and not in seeking to simply criticize, or glorify self, then God will trust us with the true riches of His word.

It serves no person any good to tell people wholus bowlus to leave churches. Rather we are to tell them to Seek the Lord, seek understanding and if He gives you a clear leading in the matter then by all means. We are not to be God to the people, but rather to direct them to Him, that if their be any blood shed it will not be on our hands.

I believe that people are looking for an easy out, a quick escape, if only I could leave America or whatever….as if this will provide the answer.
This again does not resolve the underlying issue which is that we, each one of us are to seek Him for our living and vital necessity in this day.

Little children, keep yourselves from idols. 1 John 5:21 Obediance to this command will serve the Babylonian captive well.

    Bless you,
    Tim

Yes Dancan. Sadly most Christians believe the practice of sin is perfectly okay, that we can’t stop so why try and if we do try, that is works. The flood of lies is already here.

Babylon cannot be healed but individuals can be healed if they flee from Babylon.

Jeremiah 51:9 ‘We would have healed Babylon, but she cannot be healed; let us leave her and each go to his own land, for her judgment reaches to the skies

Nothing is impossible with God, so God can heal anyone. Yet there comes a time and place that only God knows, when we fall beyond the point of repentance. As in the times of Noah, a time will come when the door will be shut. This is why, ALL of us need to take seriously the practice of sin. People waiting for X, Y and Z to happen before they start walking with God on the highway to Holiness, may be surprised when the door is shut. Now is the time to get oil in our lamps.

Revelation 18:23 The light of a lamp will never shine in you again. The voice of bridegroom and bride will never be heard in you again.

If we fall down, we need to get right back up. When we sin, we need to respond to the rebuke and chastening of God. It is when we stop responding that we are in real danger.

We need to encourage one another not condemn each other. People that are being cut down by the powers of darkness need to know the truth, but it needs to be given them in a loving and compassionate way. There is always hope until God shuts the door. We need to pray that God will grant repentance to many. People in Babylon comfort people but fail to address the root cause of problems which can be traced back to sin and impure hearts. We have got to set the example for others if our testimony is to have any impact on pointing people to the light. If people will put their trust in God, they can overcome the power of sin in their lives. The danger is when people stop striving and follow liars that say we can practice sin and enter the kingdom. That is when delusion comes.

    Thank you for your post!
Who are the elect the one that really follow Jesus and obey or it’s someone else? In your point of view! could it be that some find no more healing in the word because they can not be save anymore from the hardening of the heart the person wants but just could not seem to find that peace and healing? Could it be too late for some? Being in sin so long and the deception of churches! Like a backslider that has for so long can’t find his way back! He can’t stop sinning! He stops all kinds of sins but he can’t get rid of his anger!
He knows that Jesus is the way but can not hear him anymore for his heart is wax cold! Could this be for some! That no matter what you do or pray they are not able to find true repentance for they fall quickly when trial waits! Or is there still hope for them God bless you

Thanks for the answer Pete. It’s a lot to digest so I will come back later.

One iniial thought, the Lord has been saying to me ‘Noah, Noah, Noah’ for a few days.

Noah preached righteousness right up until the day that God shut the door. There will be a ‘deadline’ for repentance unto initial salvation and from apostasy of the heart. We are like Noah commanded to keep building and preaching and obeying until God shuts the door.

    In Jesus

    Deborah
