Abomination that Causes Desolation

 

One of the key signs of the end foretold by Jesus and by the Prophet Daniel is that we would come to see an abomination that causes desolation. 

Matthew 24:15 Therefore when you see the ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION which was spoken of through Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place,  ……………. ²¹“For then there will be a great tribulation, such as has not occurred since the beginning of the world until now, nor ever will. 

Here is how the Prophet Daniel recorded the prophecy that Jesus quoted.

Daniel 9:27 In the middle of the ‘seven’ he will put an end to sacrifice and offering. And on a wing of the temple he will set up an abomination that causes desolation, until the end that is decreed is poured out on him

I know that great tribulation lies just ahead, how exactly that plays out only God knows but the righteous judgment of God is coming.  I know it because I SEE THIS ABOMINATION.

The ABOMINATION is the Powers of Darkness and the resulting Sin

I believe God has shown me what some of these prophecy signs foretell.  I share this not claiming it is 100% correct but to share my understanding and learn from one another.  The abomination has been here for a very long time but the secrets of many prophecies are now beginning to be revealed.  I have been acting like Jonah, and have been hesitant to speak out fully on some of the most controversial truths that go against the mainstream theology.     The workings of the powers of darkness have been hidden from the church yet are foretold in nearly every prophetic book in the Bible.   I believe it was the revelation of the mystery of lawlessness and sin that was at the heart of this abomination.

Daniel was told about the ruler to come.  This ruler is Satan and the powers of darkness who were given dominion over the earth.  They have come to kill, steal and destroy and as this verse below says – to destroy the city and the sanctuaries.  This is all part of God’s testing and process of sanctification as has been shared previously.  We must overcome all of this to stand before the Son of Man.

Daniel 9:26 The people of the ruler who will come will destroy the city and the sanctuary. The end will come like a flood: War will continue until the end, and desolations have been decreed.

The end comes with the flood of deception, the religious lies that come in thoughts, teachings, doctrines, erroneous theology,  images, wolves in sheep’s clothing and the cotton candy gospel of the apostate church.  All this deception of course comes with Christian labels in the name of Jesus yet they are lies that take you away from a walk of holiness and point you to a false Jesus.  This is the horror that many are now being awakened to see. 

Daniel spoke about this ruler later in Chapter 11, telling us about the army that would come from the king of the north.  This army is the powers of darkness, they always come out of the north as is shown throughout the Prophets.  Here we see some more distinction on what this army will do.  THEY TICKLE FLESH by words of flattery.  This is religious deception and aligns exactly with what I have been shown and have been speaking out on regarding the FLOOD of lies which is how the end comes.  IT IS HERE.

Daniel 11:31-32 His armed forces will rise up to desecrate the temple fortress and will abolish the daily sacrifice. Then they will set up the abomination that causes desolation. 32 With flattery he will corrupt those who have violated the covenant, but the people who know their God will firmly resist him

I am resisting these lies as indeed I am trying to blow a warning and wake up my brothers and sisters.  People that practice sin have violated God’s covenant and God said He would send the delusion upon them.  The strong delusion has ALREADY been sent.   We have heaped upon ourselves teachers that tell us what our itching ears want to hear. 

Traditions of Men

Conventional wisdom and popular Christian theology has many anchors of belief that are the key deceptions keeping many in bondage and blind to the truth.  Here is my characterization of how most professing Christians see the events of the end time unfolding.   This is not my view whatsoever.

1.  A new physical third temple will be built in the city of Jerusalem

2.  A single man will arise with great mystique and will deceive the whole world

3.  This man is the antiChrist and he rule for 3.5 or 7 years before the end and sign a peace treaty with the country of Israel.

4.  The antiChrist will bring an abomination into the new temple and defile it claiming to be God.

5.  Mid way through the tribulation of this man’s reign,  he will stop the sacrifice of animals in the new temple

6.  At some point in this sequence, Jesus will quietly come and rapture out the church.

I have oversimplified it for sure and the order and sequence of common beliefs in these areas do differ; but all in all it is a big fat delusion.  It is part of the deception that keeps MANY unaware and unprepared for the return of the LORD.  Every single one of these “beliefs” are not true. other lies lay at the root of each.  Lies piled upon lies that become traditions of men and over a few thousand years, results in a flood of deception.  That is where we are my friends, most everyone is drunk and fast asleep with a false wine and the sweet bread being sold as the truth.  The gospel of Jesus Christ does not please the flesh so man has been easy prey for an enemy that comes in that cuts out the hard part, pours water on the truth and dumps in the sugar to make their gospel pleasing and ear tickling to our flesh.  But it is all a lie.

This widely held end time theology listed above would have you believe you can watch CNN or FOX news and see when the temple is undergoing construction, actually opens for business and then when this “new” political leader arises; we all can do some simple mathematics on the number of years left and then get ready for Jesus.  No my friends, Jesus will come as a thief and nobody is going to know the day or hour.  Many will be totally surprised, my Bible says perplexed, astonished, and bewildered.  The astonishment is because they will not be ready and when they realize the delusion they believed, the false gospel they followed; the testimony of the WORD of God will convict them and there will be no escape.  The door to the Kingdom will be forever shut.

1 Thessalonians 5:3 While people are saying, “Peace and safety,” destruction will come on them suddenly, as labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape

 Jesus Will Come As A Thief

 We must be sober, alert, and above all READY! Before I directly address the abomination I want to share what I see that is wrong about the common theology summarized above.  

Third Temple: 

I doubt a third “Jewish” temple will ever be built in the city of Jerusalem.  Even if it is built by the works of the flesh of men,  it will not be the temple of God.  God does not live in temples as He made very clear in the New Testament in many places.  Here are just a few.  Does God change?  Does God lie?

ACTS 7:48 the Most High does not dwell in houses made by human hands

1 COR 3:16 Do you not know that you are a temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?

Many will point to the temple described by the Prophet Ezekiel.  I don’t have space to segue into that topic but I have been shown that this vision actually depicts the FALSE Spiritual Temple, another words, the fallen deceived Babylon Church of the end.  All the trimmings and explanations in Ezekiel consistently point to this as a false temple and it is spiritual.  Jesus said that the road was narrow, the gate was small and that few there be shall find the way.  The rest will be on the wrong road, following a different Jesus and will hear depart from me, I do not know you.  We need to be part of the holy stump and the escaped remnant to see the LORD.   

If the Jews living in the country we call Israel, which is NOT the ISRAEL of GOD actually build a temple assuming Jesus does not come first,  then it does not change the truth.  God will not be in that Temple, He will only be in the hearts of His true children, the TRUE ISRAEL of God.  So I believe all this 3rd temple stuff is a distraction to take our focus away from the imminent coming of the LORD.  Do not be deceived.

You really must see that nation we call Israel is not Israel as spoken of in the Scriptures.  I have posts on that but know it is children Born of the Spirit that are the Israel of God, it never ever had anything to do with a piece of land or ancestors or natural descendants as Jesus, Paul, the Prophets all made very clear.  Not seeing this truth, will keep you from understanding what you need to know about the prophecies.

AntiChrist the Man Exalts Himself:

The Apostle John told us the spirits of antichrist were already at work in the world when he wrote his first Epistle.  Collectively these spirits are known as the Beast in Revelation 13 and they raise up the false prophets and teachers via religious lies and deception.  The result is hundreds of denominations and sects and division in the body of believers.  This beast and the false prophets that support the beast are not political figures, they are religious spirits and doctrines.  Their goal is to deceive the whole world and get the world to worship the image of the beast.  Politicians do not get people to worship.  Nobody calling themselves a Christian is going to follow a politician and worship some God they choose to install in churches or some new temple.

The idea of the antichrist calling himself God or exalting himself as God is simply the false gospel and seeds of a tares that get installed into people’s hearts.  The enemy sows these bad seeds and we eat them because they look attractive to our flesh.  These antichrist’s have succeeded in creating a false image of God.  This God doesn’t control the devil, does not bring calamity or sickness upon His people and is going to save everyone.  All you have to do is bow down and say his name and you can keep on practicing sin and walk as a double minded harlot lusting after the world and the pleasures of life.  This God is the image of Satan.  

The true Jesus has become a stumbling block as flesh does not want to be crucified, it wants an easy and broad road to heaven.   Many will be deceived, which means the vast majority Jesus spoke about in Matthew 24.  Yet very few Christians would be deceived if some man came along and called himself God and stood in a building built of bricks.   The problem is the man is not a man, it is evil spirits, a bunch of them, in fact an entire army.  The exaltation is of a false Jesus, the one the Babylon Church will praise and worship.  This is the god that only loves and does not judge. 

The Spirits of AntiCrist Work Thru Flesh and Men.  They come disguised as “religion” and that is how they deceive the whole world.  Speaking about how we would become enslaved to the dark powers, the Prophet Isaiah told us how the deception and ultimately the flood builds.  

Isaiah 28:13  Precept upon precept, precept upon precept, Line upon line, line upon line, 
 Here a little, there a little,  that they might go and fall backward, and be broken 
 and snared and caught. People have been caught and led into captivity by the little and subtle lies that have crept into the church and accumulated over time. 

A little bit of leaven spoils the whole batch.  The bread being served is poisoned even with a little bit of false doctrine.  Lie upon lie have been built and we now awaken to a horrifying truth.  But it was all foretold to us, but we chose to get drunk and drink the sweet wine instead of following the LORD in a walk of holiness.  I have been the worst of these but in His mercy was awakened earlier than many to this truth.

This false Jesus like the real LORD is full of abundant mercy but this one’s mercy never ever runs out even if you love your sin more than God.  You can sin with impunity and it does not matter as you are once saved always saved.  Salvation to this god is bowing down one time, it is not a difficult walk that we must finish.  This is a false Jesus, the very one we were warned about to not be deceived by and not to follow.  We need to know what the antichrist really is and not believe in the fables that have been passed down over the centuries.  It isn’t some man, they have been here for a very long time we are just now beginning to SEE it with our spiritual eyes.

Babylon the fallen church has exalted itself.  It lives for sensuality, meaning for the flesh, it is worldly, thinks it needs nothing and it is not a widow.  But those immersed and following this false god are widows, they are without Jesus as a husband and are lost and doomed for destruction unless they come out of her (this false church) now.  Babylon is a mother of harlots and is fallen away from the truth and has become a dwelling place for demons and every unclean spirit.  These demons and the unclean spirits are the antichrist, they are the adversary of the Messiah which is TRUTH.

The stopping of the sacrifice simple means the teaching that we do not need to die to ourselves in order to be Born Again.  That is the predominate teaching in Christian circles.  Just say a prayer, come to church and you are born again and will receive the Holy Spirit.  My Bible doesn’t say that, it says we must go to the cross and die and be raised anew in the first resurrection and carry our cross daily.  We are to be a holy and living sacrifice unto the Lord, just as Abraham offered up his new-born son Isaac on the mountain, so we must be offered to God.  So when the sacrifice is abolished, you have a cotton candy gospel that is very pleasing and ear tickling to the world and flesh.  It builds big numbers and that is why 82% of Americans call themselves Christians, because they have been taught this big lie.  God sees the hearts and that is what He judges but I am confident in saying, most of these 82% are worshipping the image of the beast.

Revelation 13:2 And the whole earth was amazed and followed after the beast; ⁴they worshiped the dragon because he gave his authority to the beast; and they worshiped the beast, saying, “Who is like the beast, and who is able to wage war with him?”

People are deceived because the deception has come from inside church over centuries of time.  That is where we are now,  the deception that was already at work in the world has about run its course and most mainstream churches are teaching another Jesus and another gospel.  Anyone who loves their doctrine or their “church” more than the truth of God’s Word is worshipping the beast despite their outward expression of religion and faith.

Sin is the Abomination

The enemy game plan is to cause us or entice us into sin.  That is what kills our soul, it is how the truth is stolen from our hearts and ultimately why we are destroyed if we do not repent and follow Jesus how the LORD defined following Him.  But I also want you to see that SIN itself is the abomination and we must purge this abomination out of our hearts, our temples and our sanctuaries.

The enemy comes inside of us.  That is right,  spirits live in people and one of the things fallen christians will be stunned on the last day is that they had listened to lies and liars their whole life.  If we are truly Born Again and walk in holiness with the LORD, these devils leave us, they flee.  But if we live in our sin and believe we are saved and a child of God, we are following the wrong spirit.  This is foretold in scores of places in the Prophets and here is one from Jeremiah’s lament over the fallen church.  This isn’t speaking about the Romans, it is speaking about the powers of darkness.

Lamentations 4:12 The kings of the earth did not believe, Nor did any of the inhabitants of the world, That the adversary and the enemy could enter the gates of Jerusalem. 

Our adversary roars like lions when they conquer the temples of God.  While this Psalm may speak to a historical event,  if foretells how the new spiritual temples of God would be torn down and made desolate.

Psalm 74:4-5 Your foes roared in the place where you met with us; they set up their standards as signs. The spirits make up their own gospel, the establish a different Jesus. They behaved like men wielding axes to cut through a thicket of trees.  These dark powers, working on the inside, chop down the trees of God.  We are the trees of the field.

Joel 2:9 They rush on the city, they run on the wall; they climb into the houses, They enter through the windows like a thief. This prophet speaks of the end and that the enemy, the thief would enter through windows into the houses.  Sin is a window and an opening for these dark powers.

Jeremiah 9:21For death has come up through our windows; It has entered our palaces.  This truth about the abomination is everywhere, I hope to show more in some upcoming posts or videos.   The abomination is standing in very many places where it ought not to be.  We need people to know the truth so they can be set free and be cleansed of this defilement.

Galatians 4:8 Formerly, when you did not know God, you were slaves to those who by nature are not gods.  Paul wrote about the demons and evil spirits throughout his Epistles.  Man has built theology that just ignores these verses and the spirit behind that theology is not of God.  We are slaves to the one we obey.  Are you obeying the Holy Spirit or some other kind of spirit?

Sin is an abomination to God.  When the deceitfulness of sin gets into our hearts, the temples of God, the temple is soon defiled.  God says He will extract vengeance for His temple and its defilement.  You see this in a lot of places but here are some favorites from Proverbs.

Proverbs 6:16 There are six things which the LORD hates,  Yes, seven which are an abomination to Him.  This is all about God’s hatred for sin and there are some good definitions in this Proverb.

Proverbs 12:22 Lying lips are an abomination to the LORD.  Jesus is truth, everything else is a lie.  God hates lies, spin, manipulation, selective disclosure, and all the inventions of men to take something dishonest and make it okay.

Proverbs 16:5 Everyone who is proud in heart is an abomination to the LORD.  Satan was kicked out of heaven for pride.  God resists the proud and gives grace to the humble.  An awful lot of religion is done today, just like the Pharisees did it in Jesus’ days, for selfish gain of some kind.  Pride is at the root of all this and this is from the enemy.

Proverbs 28:9 He who turns away his ear from listening to the law, even his prayer is an abomination .  If you follow the spirits that take away the sacrifice you will not like God’s law, you will believe it has been abolished or certainly does not apply to you and you will pervert grace into a license to sin.  You have been swept away by the flood my friend if you believe that and even your prayers are an abomination to God,  HE WILL NOT HEAR THEM.

Sin Causes Desolation

Sin defiles the temple of God.  Praise God for His mercy, if we repent and come to Him with a pure heart, we will be forgiven.  But the sin of unbelief is not forgiven and the Jews of that day will burn forever as they did not come to the Lord.  Their house was left to them desolate.  That is the sin unto death the Apostle John wrote about.

Matthew 23:37  O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you, how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing. ³⁸Look, your house is left to you desolate.

Isaiah 64:10 Your holy cities have become a wilderness, Zion has become a wilderness, Jerusalem a desolation. Our holy and beautiful house, Where our fathers praised You, Has been burned by fire; and all our precious things have become a ruin.

Isaiah 1:7 Your land is desolate, Your cities are burned with fire, Your fields–strangers are devouring them in your presence; It is desolation, as overthrown by strangers.  These strangers are the powers of darkness that come inside God’s temple and defile it.  But the subject of the workings of the enemy, that is everywhere in Scripture has been cut out and forgotten by the fallen away church.  We don’t want to scare off anybody a pastor told me, yet they are shedding the blood of innocent souls by not telling the truth.

What Jesus Said To Do:

So my brothers I hope you are beginning to see what the abomination that causes desolation actually is.  The powers of darkness have been leading God’s people into sin and rebellion for a very long time.  These abominations are also referred to as our Lovers in the Prophets. They bring false comfort and we love our sin more than we love God.  That brings death.  The prophecy about this abomination wasn’t about when the abomination is established, it was about WHEN YOU SEE IT with your own eyes.  This is spiritual discernment.  Jesus said once YOU SEE IT,  here is what you are to do.  

Matthew 24:17-18 then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. ¹⁷Let no one on the roof of his house go down to take anything out of the house. ¹⁸Let no one in the field go back to get his cloak

Mark 13:30-31 It will be just like this on the day the Son of Man is revealed. ³¹On that day no one who is on the roof of his house, with his goods inside, should go down to get them. Likewise, no one in the field should go back for anything. ³²Remember Lot’s wife!

What Jesus was telling us is that when He reveals to us real understanding of His Word and we actually then see the truth of the gospel;  then we are to flee from the apostasy and the false religion.  Jesus was not talking about physically packing up and moving, He was speaking of spiritual actions.  He was talking about where your heart and your mind are focused.  What has your heart, He wants all of it!  If you are in this fallen system of religious deception, what Jesus was saying was to get out of it and go to God’s mountain that He has shown you.  Come to Him and quit following the liars our enemy. 

Not going back to get your coat or goods refers to not going back into the world and lusting after the things of the world.  Seek first Him and His righteousness.  People will have you believe you need to hurry up and move out of the USA or run into the woods and get out of the cities.  We have turned these spiritual lessons into a bunch of bogus theology.  Once we see the truth of the WORD, we are not to shrink back from that truth, knowing that the enemy will use our friends, family and religious leaders to do just that.

Hebrews 10:39 But we are not of those who shrink back and are destroyed, but of those who believe and are saved

I wrote an entire post about this statement of Jesus to REMEMBER LOTS WIFE.  Click the link to read it, but this was a huge lesson.  Lot’s wife was saved, all she had to do was follow the angels out of Sodom.  But she turned back to the world after she was given the truth.  She was destroyed.  Many Christians come to know God, but then are tricked and deceived in turning back into the world, the prosperity gospel and the like are all works of the devil.

Let me leave the reader with the Words of God spoken to the prophet Hosea that speaks to the false shepherds, false teachers that unwittingly deceived the flock.  They bring the abomination that causes desolation into the temple of God.  This shows us how Babylon becomes a Mother of Harlots

Hosea 4:8-12

They feed on the sin of My people  (TICKLE EARS)
And direct their desire toward their iniquity. (teach practicing sin is okay)
⁹And it will be, like people, like priest;  (the priests themselves do it)
 So I will punish them for their ways (God will get vengeance for His temple)
And repay them for their deeds.  (nowhere does it ever say, our faith is judged)
¹⁰They will eat, but not have enough; (this is the famine of the real WORD of GOD)
They will play the harlot, but not increase, (Man’s way doesn’t add saints to the count)
Because they have stopped giving heed to the LORD. (follow men and their traditions)
Harlotry, wine and new wine take away the understanding. (drunk with a false gospel)
¹²My people consult their wooden idol, and their diviner’s wand informs them;
For a spirit of harlotry has led them astray, (evil spirits promote, flesh doesn’t have to die)
And they have played the harlot, departing from their God. (they worship image of the beast)
