What Abraham Really Believed
Romans 4:19-20 Without becoming weak in faith Abraham contemplated his own body, now as good as dead since he was about a hundred years old, and the deadness of Sarah’s womb; 20yet, with respect to the promise of God, he did not waver in unbelief but grew strong in faith, giving glory to God
There is a powerful lesson and hidden meaning buried deep in the story of Abraham that confirms and testifies to what our walk with God is really all about.
The story of Abraham is about an old dying man who is given a promise of a new man coming from his own seed and gaining an inheritance of a new land. My friends, this is exactly our story if we are true children of God. Our “old man” is dying to sin in this body of flesh. From within our own body, a new man will be raised by God and it is this new man who will enter into the promised land and the heavenly city prepared by God. Once you see this in the Scriptures it will blow you away. God has not changed and the Scriptures tell us the same key lessons of life, namely that we must believe God and we must be Born Again to enter His kingdom. That is the story told here in Genesis as confirmed via the New Testament as I hope to show. Like Abraham, our walk begins with believing God. That is true faith.
What Did Abram Believe?
Genesis 15:4 Then behold, the word of the LORD came to him, saying, “This man will not be your heir; but one who will come forth from your own body, he shall be your heir.” And He took him outside and said, “Now look toward the heavens, and count the stars, if you are able to count them ” And He said to him, “So shall your descendants be.”
As the very next verse shows: Then he believed in the LORD; and God reckoned it to him as righteousness. Abram believed that God was able and was going to raise up one from Abram’s own body and that son would be the heir of the promise. As I will speak to below, the promise was not about possessing a piece of dirt, it was about possessing the eternal heavenly city of God. While God did indeed give Abraham a natural son, called Isaac, the story as told has one of extreme significance to our walk with God today.
Abram had faith. As a man of 87 years old at the time with a wife about the same age, there was no human logic for him to believe what God had spoken. In fact doubt surfaced later and Abram took matters into his own hands, trying to please God as we will see. But still, we are told Abram believed God without any natural or physical evidence. Now that is faith, it is hope in the things not seen in the natural world.
Hebrews 11:1-2 Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. 2For by it the men of old (Abraham, Moses and YES EVEN OUR OLD MAN) gained approval.
Do you believe God? Are you trusting Him fully to bring forth a new man out of the sinful body of death you came into this world with? Abraham trusted God and it is those who do likewise today that will be joint heirs in the Kingdom of God. That is what Jesus meant we He said the famous passage from John 3:16. Just like Abram could not, we cannot raise a new man from the works of our own hands. God must do it all the time. When God first gave Abram the promise, Abram like we often do today, constrained by our carnal minds, try to save ourselves and do acts of religion by our own power and initiative. These are the works that do not save us. Abram did not initially realize that God does it all and that his part was to simply believe and follow God’s instructions.
God Builds His House
Genesis 15:2-3 Abram said, “O Lord GOD, what will You give me, since I am childless, and the heir of my house is Eliezer of Damascus?” 3And Abram said, “Since You have given no offspring to me, one born in my house is my heir.” The teacher that shared this wisdom said about this verse: “this was man’s first recorded attempt at being religious.”
As we learn later, Abram at the urging of a woman (Sarah) does try to take matters into his own hands and acts in his flesh to bring forth the son God promised. When he slept with Hagar and produced Ishmael, this was a work of the flesh. God ultimately blessed Ishmael we are shown in Genesis 21, but this fleshly seed was not part of God’s promise to Abram and would not inherit the promised land. Today we have the same thing going on in our practice of religion. We are not believing God and trusting Him. We have put on forms of godliness and have not died to our flesh and continue to do works of the flesh in the name of God. God uses them for sure but we deny the power of Jesus Christ to raise us anew and build His house when we do not put our full trust in Him.
Unless we believe that God and not us, can birth a new man out of us, we will not be saved. We will not walk the walk if we do not believe this. We cannot do it ourselves, we must put our faith in God. Being religious counts for nothing, these are all dead works. God builds the church. The Lord builds His house. Consider the message the prophet Nathan gave to David from the Lord.
2 Samuel 7:5,12 ‘Thus says the LORD, “Are you the one who should build Me a house to dwell in?…… When your days are complete and you lie down with your fathers, I will raise up your descendant after you, who will come forth from you, and I will establish his kingdom. This was speaking about both Solomon but more importantly, the LORD JESUS, who would come from David’s seed. Jesus is the builder of the true and living house of God.
We are saved by grace. It is the power of God working IN US to raise up a new creation from within our own body. That is how God builds the church. We must be Born Again. When we are taught we do not have to die to self or that we can come down from the cross we carry and save ourselves, we are not saved. The fallen church does not believe God, instead they believe God a little bit but teaches us to hang onto the flesh and the works of our hands.
We must BELIEVE GOD, and put our full trust in Him, to attain to the promise given to Abraham. Our father Abraham gave us an example but the Jesus coming as a man was the supreme example. I never really understood these words from Romans until I got this understanding.
Romans 9:5-7 But it is not as though the word of God has failed. For they are not all Israel who are descended from Israel; 7nor are they all children because they are Abraham’s descendants, but: “THROUGH ISAAC YOUR DESCENDANTS WILL BE NAMED.” That is, it is not the children of the flesh who are children of God, but the children of the promise are regarded as descendants.
It is not the descendants of Abraham that are the children of God, it never was or had anything to do with flesh. Flesh and blood will not inherit the Kingdom of God. We must come out of the seed of Isaac, which means we must be Born Again of our own bodies. The Jews wanted to argue this with Jesus but they lost the argument to the truth.
John 8:39-41 Abraham is our father,” they answered.“If you were Abraham’s children,” said Jesus, “then you would do the things Abraham did. 40As it is, you are determined to kill me, a man who has told you the truth that I heard from God. Abraham did not do such things. 41You are doing the things your own father (the devil) does.”
God must do the saving. We cannot follow the lies of the devil and leave the furnace and go back to the easy life in the world and “work for God”. We must overcome to be purified and raised anew into life led by the Holy Spirit. We must believe God like Abram did, learning from his mistake.
What Was Promised
The promise of God was given to our father Abraham and his sons, Isaac and then Jacob. This wasn’t a promise about a piece of dirt or a pile of rocks called Israel. It was a promise of a new life and resurrection RIGHT HERE AND RIGHT NOW and later an inheritance in heaven, the spiritual city built by God Himself. God told Abraham, Jesus also told us as did the Apostles that we would be living as aliens in a hostile land. This life may be called the land of promise, but the land of promise is not the promise itself. The promise is yet to come in heaven when the Lord returns. The Kingdom of God is not of this world. Paul spoke of pressing on to attain the resurrection and the promise of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
Philippians 3:12 Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me.
Hebrews 11:13 All these died in faith, without receiving the promises, but having seen them and having welcomed them from a distance, and having confessed that they were strangers and exiles on the earth.
Attainment of the promise comes at the end of time, we can only see it off in the distance for now. This is our hope to attain it. If we saw it now, it would not be a hope and then our walk would not be based on true faith. The writer of Hebrews tells us what Abraham was looking for as his inheritance for him and his heirs. It was not land, it was a heavenly city.
Hebrews 11:8-10 By faith Abraham, when he was called, obeyed by going out to a place which he was to receive for an inheritance; and he went out, not knowing where he was going. 9By faith he lived as an alien in the land of promise, as in a foreign land, dwelling in tents with Isaac and Jacob, fellow heirs of the same promise;10for he was looking for the city which has foundations, whose architect and builder is God.
Hebrews 12:22-24 But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to myriads of angels, 23to the general assembly and church of the firstborn who are enrolled in heaven, and to God, the Judge of all, and to the spirits of the righteous made perfect, 24and to Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant
The Sacrifice of Isaac
The story of God calling Abraham to go sacrifice his son Isaac was a foretelling of Jesus coming and applicable to our understanding of our Christian walk. Walking up the mountain, Isaac not knowing what was going on except that they were going to worship God asks the question
Genesis 22:7 Abraham took the wood of the burnt offering and laid it on Isaac his son, and he took in his hand the fire and the knife. So the two of them walked on together. 7Isaac spoke to Abraham his father and said, “My father!” And he said, “Here I am, my son.” And he said, “Behold, the fire and the wood, but where is the lamb for the burnt offering?”
Notice the covenant references, the two of them walking together, father and son, our Father and us. We must make covenant with God to be in covenant with God. Christ died and now we need to die. We are the sacrifice in this case, we are the Isaac. Abraham offered up to God the new creation that God had brought forth from Abraham’s own body. That is what we are called to do and I am learning more about this everyday. We are supposed to be a living sacrifice.
Matthew 16:25 For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will find it
We must be willing to lay down our life for God in order to gain our life in eternity. When we do that out of love and in obedience to the Lord, we become an instrument of sacrifice for the Lord. It is not our life we live anymore, we live for Christ. There is no greater love then to lay down ones life for a friend. Are you a real friend of God?
The First Resurrection
Jesus speaking to the Sadducees about the “resurrection” and their lack of understanding.
Matthew 22:31-32 But regarding the resurrection of the dead, have you not read what was spoken to you by God: I AM THE GOD OF ABRAHAM, AND THE GOD OF ISAAC, AND THE GOD OF JACOB’? He is not the God of the dead but of the living.
Later when speaking about the release of Satan from the abyss in the end times, John wrote.
Revelation 20:6 Blessed and holy is the one who has a part in the first resurrection; over these the second death has no power, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with Him for a thousand years. The first death is when we crucify our flesh and die to self in order to live for Christ. That is the here and now. If we physically die before Christ comes, the death has not power as we will be raised a second time when the Lord comes to take His Saints home with Him..
To attain the promise of Abraham, we must be part of the first resurrection. Just like Jesus died and was raised anew, we must also in our walk. When we die to ourselves. We are resurrected from the dead and given newness of life through the Spirit of God. I cannot fully explain the mystery of all this but I continue to seek wisdom from God. I believe the term “first resurrection” has been totally missed by our religious wise men. Jesus spoke about these two resurrections in John’s gospel.
John 5:25 Truly, truly, I say to you, an hour is coming and NOW IS, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear will live. This first resurrection was already happening, right then in Jesus time. Those that believed in Him and His words and died to their flesh and their worldly lusts were resurrected (raised) into newness of life by the Holy Spirit. They were Born Again. Their second resurrection will come on the Day of the Lord. Jesus goes on to explain the two diverse aspects of the second resurrection.
John 5:28-29 Do not marvel at this; for an hour is coming, in which all who are in the tombs will hear His voice, 29and will come forth; those who did the good deeds to a resurrection of life those who committed the evil deeds to a resurrection of judgment
We either die to self and are Born Again in this life and follow Christ or we practice sin and die spiritually and we are raised onto judgment on the last day and miss the first resurrection altogether. If we are crucified with Christ we will be raised with Him RIGHT NOW AND RIGHT HERE in Baptism and newness of life. Isn’t that exactly what Paul said here?
Colossians 2:11-12 In Him you were also circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, by putting off the body of the sins of the flesh, by the circumcision of Christ, 12 buried with Him in baptism, in which you also WERE raised with Him through faith in the working of God, who raised Him from the dead. If we are in Christ, the first resurrection is past tense, it is not something in the future. My brothers and sisters, are you seeing this?
Practicing Religion is Not Belief
In closing, I like Paul have not attained to the promise. I have not been perfected but I am working it out with fear and trembling, knowing I must attain it but that God will do it IF I REALLY BELIEVE GOD. I can tell you writing this post and searching these Scriptures has shown me many things I had not seen before and brought to mind areas of faith that were falling short.
I see people perishing, good people who say they believe in God, yet they are not believing God. They don’t believe it is possible for God to raise up a new man from their own body. There is an old saying in my business circles that if you believe something, you are right. You get what you believe. Much of our religion claims to be based on faith, but it it really is based on works. Many are trying to earn their righteousness with all their service and good deeds. Nothing wrong with that if given with a pure heart, but secretly trying to please God by doing them makes them dead works. We need to let God do the saving and come out of false religion.
Romans 4:20-21 He (Abraham) did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, 21 and being fully convinced that what He had promised He (GOD) was also able to perform. 22 And therefore “it was accounted to him for righteousness.”
We can’t rebirth a new man. We can’t build God’s house. We can’t walk with God in our own power of the flesh. God must perform it. It is by grace that we are saved. Walking with God is what a Christian walk is all about! We must choose to walk up that hill with our father and go to the sacrifice and lay down our life. If we make that choice, God does everything else. Those that are led by the Spirit of God, these are the sons of God and the ones that are of Isaac’s seed.
Let’s look one more time at what Abraham believed and how he acted upon his faith, sacrificing his new creation to the Lord.
Hebrews 11:19 By faith Abraham, when he was tested, offered up Isaac, and he who had received the promises was offering up his only begotten son; 18it was he to whom it was said, “IN ISAAC YOUR DESCENDANTS SHALL BE CALLED.” 19He considered that God is able to raise people even from the dead, from which he also received him back as a type.

1. t he put forth his hand, (repent for the kingdom of God is at hand)

3. eat, and live for ever: ( I will send the comforter and He will abide in you forever) also notice here it says eat and live forever, we must endure and continue to walk in His covenant and eat of His flesh and drink of His blood daily. This is not a one time meal OSAS,or an occasional Sunday brunch He is speaking of.
This is the same message Peter gave in Acts 2-38, when he was asked:What should we do.
The flaming cherub is there to guard the way of salvation and keep one from climbing back in another way, liken to a thief or a robber. (the theif of Sardas) or crash the wedding feast without the right garment on.

The tares grow up with the wheat, just as Cain and Abel grew up together, the time will come in the field where the tares are revealed (son of perdition), just as Judas was finally revealed as a son of perdition in the garden of Gesenemy as he once grew up with the wheat as recorded in Acts ch 1. 17 “For he was numbered with us, and had obtained part of this ministry”. but eventually the luke warm condition of Judas grew colder and allowed Satan to fully enter into him and he became a fully grown blackened tare with no wheat kernel of fruit.. This is why Jesus said “do not pull up the tares, for you may pull up the wheat by mistake”. The Laodacians may eventually hear Him knocking at the door which is the calling unto repentance, and He shall come in and sup with them. (Matthew ch 13-15 “I should come in and heal them”). as you stated Charles the emotional condition and feelings of a luke warm double-minded man of Laodocia change from day to day, one day he may like somebody , the next day he may not. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever, which is this mind of Christ Jesus in you. Gods word never changes, everything else in the creation is decaying, changing, and in a 2 factional finite condition. This is why we must import Gods word into us because heaven and earth shall pass away but my word shall never pass away. Anything that is not absorbed by the Spirit of God is finite and taken away. Only the 3rd part that is absorbed by the Spirit of God will be left therein.
Knowledge is rightfully used to prove that God is in charge and that it’s all about Him. But if you desire to be as gods, then Knowledge
becomes a tool to use against others (and God too) to make more rules to prove you’re in charge. That’s Pride and tyrants reign this way.
Take a look at the Corporate Church Construct full of pride. Not saying here we should not be constantly examining our own selves as well. Its always easy to point a finger at the institutions of man.
Pride is the assumption that gravitates to the stronghold idea that God can not tell you what to do. The tree of knowledge is the desire to seek it on your own and “ye shall be as god’s” This manifests into hatred for God and anyone who is of the Spirit of God. Remember Jesus said; they don’t hate you, they hate me, and they hated my father before me. The greatest example of pride in the NT is the religious zealots the Pharisees. (serpents). Jesus also said lest your righteousness exceed that of the Pharisees you cannot enter the kingdom of God. Hatred is the deep root of a serpent of pride. The spirit of a Pharisee.
Gen :4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely
die: 5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your
eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.
The the two laws are to Love God and love thy neighbour as yourself
The 3rd element is pride it exists in both serpents and scorpions,and the multitudes.

If one de or attempts to avoid pride, then you can’t repent. Jesus can not come in and heal you.
This is why ignoring the devil wont work. Then the root sin remains in one is unto damnation and the lake of fire. “IE”
Blasphemy of the Holy Ghost. I John 5 There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it” The signature of a serpent is one who
exalts himself in pride and never seeks repentance.A signature of a scorpion is one who avoids repentance because he is always seeking after the cares of this world and what ever creature comforts he can get out of it, while always sucking up to the serpents for approval and recognition in their deeds. The will come out on to the hot desert floor to capture a spoil, (greed) while the serpent remains hidden under the rocks. This leads to a inability to make true repentance and reaches a point where he eventually throws the coins on the temple floor but is unable to repent. Revelation 9:6 And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them. This is the scorpion, the serpent of pride never seeks death or repentance.The scorpions who have sold themselves out to the serpents are overcome with a a worldly sorrow and cannot die. (no longer repent) This is what happened to Judas the scorpion.
The remnant multitudes are the only ones who can come to a godly repentance, these are the righteous that Peter says are scarcely saved,
but what of the ungodly (serpent) and the sinner (scorpion) ? They are cast out of His kingdom Matthew 13 I will cast out of my kingdom all that offend (scorpions), and them that doeth iniquity (serpents). These are those possed by the powers of darkness.

Gilbert, Thank you for sharing your understanding. I can say that I told my brother here in Texas some weeks back that the Lord was leading me more towards two and away from the trinity belief. It’just that it’s Christ’s Holy Spirit that is leading me there. The Holy Spirit IS the spirit of Jesus, the Comforter, one in the same just as the Father is in the son, and the son is in the Father. The testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prohpecy.This is a mystery of God. I feel no urgency to know, although it is a question in me, till it’s answered.In the mean time my santification and salvation continue. I believe what I read in the Word and know that He who began this work will Himself establish,confirm and perfect. I, in no way mean to discount your post as I discern it in love, and whole heartedly welcome others understanding. God bless your charity and increase the understanding of us all. mark

It is an effort for me to transmit what God has revealed spiritually to the heart, into words. Only he can do that, so I apologize for any confusion in what is written. I hope what is said here, simply illustrates that God wants a Son, and Jesus a bride.
The story of David, Nabal, and Abigail also represents what God is trying to do in his Sons and daughters. Gods people (represented in Abigail) have been possessed as property by the Babylonian false Christ represented in Nabal: they are now being liberated by Christ (David is a shadow) through the death of this Babylonian spirit of self, freeing Gods people into the true bridegroom’s arms. Many are possessed like Abigail by this spirit of Babylonian self rule, self exaltation, “but many are now coming out of her”. Can we not see this in the story of David, Abigail, and Nabal ?
Many people that dwell here on earth are being bitten by serpents in these end times just like the children of Israel in the wilderness. Can we also see in this story the overcomers represented in Joshua and Caleb, sitting upon a rise (Zion, in the heavens) watching those below (of the earth) who are being bitten by the serpents of insecurity, hatred, faithlessness, bitterness etc today in these end times.? Jesus said to those that believed that they shall take up these serpents of faithlessness, hatred, bitterness etc., and they shall not harm you: but faith must come FIRST in the WORD.
God told Moses to fashion a serpent upon a staff for the rebellious children to look upon, for their healing. How ridiculous to the natural, carnal sense ruled minds of these rebellious children was that command: it had them look to the very thing that was killing them, but that’s what Gods WORD said to do, so it MUST be done: it MUST be done in defiance against the senses, emotions and carnal intellect of the self ruled man, the interior son of perdition.! God’s intent is for us to be obedient to his WORD no matter how ridiculous it may seem to our senses, feelings emotions. Christ likened himself to this serpent in the wilderness being raised up, to look upon him for our kingdom restoration. How could a carnal, sense ruled mind look to Jesus who dyed upon the cross, as the answer for eternal life, it cannot; only faith in his WORD can! Gods WORD simply does not appeal to the senses, emotions, and carnality of mans mind, that s why this faith issue regarding Abraham is so important. God bless, Charles

Bringing Forth a Bride, and a Son for God
As always Pete, thank you for this spirit filled article, and its visions of truth. What Abraham believed is so hard to understand with literal, carnal eyes, but yet so simple if you know the spiritual intent that God has for his children. This is what God has allowed me to see, as always, he is to be believed and not man. Abraham, as all Old Testament saints, was a shadow of the spiritual bride of Christ who produces a Son of God by Faith in Gods WORD / Christ. His interior Kingdom within or spirit initially, needed development in regards to “faith in Gods WORD” before it could produce a full stature well pleasing SON. Abraham had to develop faith in Gods WORD / Christ, which resulted in a faithful, devoted agape bride for Jesus, and then a mature well pleasing Son for God could be birthed forth. This formation / development of faith in Gods Word within Abraham produced not only a Son For God , but, it “First “ must produce a bride for Christ in order to produce a Son. That process or correct order of development in producing a family for God is in its final stages in these end times. God is all about the proper order, the chicken did not come before the egg and Gods Son will not be produced within us until we wed Christ / the living WORD of God. God in Genesis is preparing Abraham to be a faithful bride first, to his WORD, and then the SON of faithfulness can be brought forth. People who try to bring forth a child spiritually without saying their wedding vows of marriage to Christ, the living WORD, are like the unfaithful generation of today, they are trying to reverse the correct order of God, it simply will not work .If this is attempted, it is like Abraham conceiving a child with Hagar, what is produced is not of faith because it was not a proper union ordained by God. The parable is this, the SEED is the WORD of God, and the ground is Abraham’s heart which had to be cultivated, broken up in order to receive the seed and bring forth life giving fruit. In the parable of the “soils” it represents the spiritual condition of men’s hearts, its all about proper soil for growth before the seed can be thrown by the master “gardener”. In order for Gods WORD to take root by faith he had Abraham look at the physical, literal heaven above by counting the stars in order for him to develop / produce an internal Son of God within his own Kingdom of “Heaven” or heart. By faith in Gods WORD, Mary, the natural mother of Jesus had to do the same thing, she had to believe the WORD of God within her spirit / heart first, before the Son of God could appear externally: she said “ Let it be according to your word,” conception was immediate because of her faith, and the credibility towards Gods WORD . That’s the way it is with us, we must form Christ inwardly/ spiritually, before we can manifest a true developed Son of God to a lost and dying world: it is just like a maturing / developing “child” within a natural womb. Some people try and exhibit a “premature” SON of God that is not quite ready to be revealed / birthed, and is mixed with the son of perdition and Christ. This immature, self willed, and self exalting son is full of religious pride, and has none of the attributes of a humble , devoted agape bride of Christ nor a well pleasing son. The overcomer is both for clarification: he is a faithful humble bride to the WORD/ Christ, and he is also a well pleasing Son of God. This mixed child of the old nature of faithlessness (Ishmael) and this faithful son (Isaac) cannot inherit the kingdom of God nor can they dwell or coexist together. This uncommitted, faithless Ishmael Company of sons wants control within the spirit of man, because he is of the devil (son of perdition) and precludes fulfilling our part of the covenant of dying to self. As long as he is in existence within our own internal Kingdom Within as Lord and ruler, we cannot come into his rest / inheritance. He wants control, because he is about self will, self exaltation going forward over Gods will, and faith in his WORD. He cannot in his impurity become Lord / ruler of our internal world; he most assuredly will be destroyed by the brightness of Christ’s coming within Gods internal image within us. People who have not formed Christ fully within them, and allow this mixed child of faithlessness to rule upon the throne of their heart, should not so eagerly look forward to his outward / literal appearance: because your mission goal on / in this earth has not been accomplished. Christ said “who is my mother, brother, sister, but those who hear Gods WORD/ Christ, and DO IT! If we want to be in the family of God and be “Related “to him, it has to be by “faith in his WORD”, that is what the story of Abraham is all about. Its all about producing a devoted faithful bride for Christ which in turn produces a full stature well pleasing Son for God. It’s all about credibility / faith in Gods WORD, that’s what the story of Abraham, Sarah, and Isaac, is all about. Because of our early beginnings that showed a lack of faith / credibility towards Gods WORD, we have produced someone within our kingdom within or house, that must be removed. What is produced along the way in our development towards faith / credibility in Gods WORD, is a child that is neither cold or hot that must be spewed from our internal self or “house”, just like Ishmael was removed from Abrahams “HOUSE”, because he is not accepted of God. This child is the Ishmael Company of believers that exists within the counterfeit believers of today, who are neither cold nor hot, living in coexistence with the godless interior son of perdition or old nature. This Company of uncommitted believers has not dyed to self, but hold themselves out as the true bride of Christ, and the sons of God. This illegitimate son must be removed from our house as Sarah “the true bride” removed Hagar the Egyptian “BOND WOMAN” and Ishmael from her “dwelling place”. Egypt is bondage, it is a shadow of these earthly, and lustful sin stained bodies that hold our spiritual selves in bondage, we cannot pledge a allegiance or become “one” in marriage with these temporal bodies, they have no inheritance in Gods kingdom: flesh and blood cannot inherit the “ Kingdom of God “. Back to Abraham: God developed the internal faith of Abraham through using physical examples, stars in the “heavens” and the sand in the seas as natural, literal faith builders. Faith in Gods WORD is a process of development in each of us; this is what God undertook with Abraham, and has been doing in the New Testament Saint. Everything that will make us into the agape bride of Christ, and full stature Sons of God boils down to “Faith in Gods WORD”: it is an issue of credibility of his WORD over feelings, emotions, senses and our intellect. The temptation of Eve in the “Garden” / spirit was the first failed challenge of Gods WORD losing out to emotion, senses, feelings and intellect. When Gods WORD loses credibility in our lives as with Eve, we suffer internal spiritual defeat and allow this uncommitted, luke warm son of perdition to rule and reign upon the throne of our heart; the garden of eve (her spirit) was where the first son of perdition was formed. We cannot give into this tree of knowledge junk that would have us unseat Gods WORD of faith from the throne of our heart in preference to feelings, emotions, intellect and senses. This evil son of perdition, rebellion to Gods WORD will surly be “Taken Away” and not left behind. Feelings, emotions change from day to day, one day you like somebody , the next day you don’t, they are to unstable and cannot supersede credibility in Gods WORD as it did with Eve . Gods WORD changeth not, it is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow, it is eternal, and we now have the opportunity to put this eternal WORD, Christ’s loving presence within our “kingdom within” because of the sin sacrifice of Christ. Christ said “Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my WORDS shall never pass away”: this is our one and only opportunity to put his LIVING, LOVING, WORD, Christ’s presence, inside of us so that a bride can be produced for Jesus, and a Son for God. This union between Christ the living WORD and his bride, will produce a well pleasing Son, it is a union made in our internal kingdom within that no man can put asunder. From this union the overcomers of God are produced, they are the first fruits from this union made in our internal heaven, or kingdom within, blessed be his name. Jesus said “Ye must be born of spirit (sacrificial blood of Christ) and of Water (Faith in the WORD), this cry goes out to the four corners of the world. John the Baptist said “he must “increase” and I must decrease, he is talking about faith in Christ the WORD consuming the internal son of perdition or old nature within our kingdom within / spirit. Friends, it’s ALL ABOUT producing a faithful , humble devoted bride for Christ , an internal mature well pleasing “faithful” Son for God, it is a process of development and maturing in faith in Gods WORD just like Abraham did. Everything in this world centers on this, if you have the eyes to see: ALL of Gods creation moans for the manifestation of this God Company of sons. Faith comes by hearing, and hearing “what”, the WORD of God, it is impossible to please God without this faith. Let us lie down and count the stars, in our development of faith in “His” WORD, knowing that all things work for good, for those called according to his purpose. We are the apple of the Fathers eye and no other form of his creation has been created in his image or has been given his Son for a living sacrifice: it has all been done in love for us, our internal kingdom restoration.

Good morning Bill & Gilbert. I’m convinced calamity is leavening, a perversion, pushing evil towards good. It subtlety heads it it that direction. Also I see those spirits of deception as part of His terrible army as in; 2nd Thess2:11 “And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie.” This is a very sobering topic as a deluded man would not have a clue of his condition if he’s truely deluded. I see the far end of this judegment in Egypt as stuff like dementia and alzheimers. If that’s outside of the church and judgement begins within, well you see my point. The grace of our Lord be with us all.
Gilbert yes many of the newer bibles have changed ‘evil” to calamity in some places, its softens the message. God created evil for His own purpose. Just as He sets the snare in Jeremiah ch 50. He also send the fears and strong delusion upon them in Isaiah 66-4- Linking to 2 Thes. 2 because they loved not the truth. (chose in what delighted Him not). God uses His messengers of wrath to serve Him. I have not studied this closely before. I suspect this “lying spirit” is and evil spirit serving the Lord for His purpose. If any have any input on this please feel free to engage. Notice the hosts of heaven are standing on his left hand as well, this is before Satan and His angels were cast down and bound at the cross. I do agree with you evil is not calamity, (evil is evil) calamity is more closely associated with tribulation.
Proverbs 1:26 I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh; 27 When your fear cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish cometh upon you. 28 Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me:

30 They would none of my counsel: they despised all my reproof.
31 Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices.

Yhose who hears the words of the Lord during this time of calamity and whilwind of tribulation shall be at peace and not fear evil.
whirlwind; is a metiphore for tribulation (Havelah) in many places in the text. Like I said I have not studied all this out in Kings, so these are just opinions on my part.

But it is applied also to the misfortunes which bring great distress upon individuals.The deliberations of calamity are rarely wise.

Ahab killed in his armour. We should be cautious of entangling ourselves in the worldly undertakings of evil men, and even more we should avoid engaging in their sinful projects, Gods wrath comes upon the tares and tribulation upon His redeemed wheat.
I highly suspect these are evil angels Gilbert who are serving the Lord, for the Lord is sovereign over all things. I dont think that a good angel on His right hand would be capable of being a lying spirit. JMO

Bill, Knowing “good and evil” is one of the most essential requisites in being formed in the image of God. To truly “know” both good and evil they HAD to partake of its source, which was the “TREE of the knowledge of good and evil,” which then DEMANDED that they SIN in order to obtain this “knowledge.” NO OTHER TREE IN THE GARDEN POSSESSED THIS NEEDED KNOWLEDGE!

Thanks for your communication. Have no fear I am safe in the hands of Jesus our God. I can see clearly with the Light that Jesus is shinning down upon all people. Anyone who has the Light of Jesus coming forth out of them “has the Light”. Any amount of Light discards darkness. Some saints have more Light than others and it may seem unfair to you that Jesus gives Gifts according to His Good pleasure.
Be patience and stay in the Light of Jesus.
Pride is Darkness
Pride is of the sinful flesh and has no place in any Faithful, True, Holy believer in Jesus who is our Heavenly Father. Where there is Pride there is darkness. Jesus has brought us out into His wonderful Light.
[Psalms 36:11] Let not the foot of pride come upon me, And let not the hand of the wicked drive me away.
[Proverbs 11:2] When pride comes, then comes dishonor, But with the humble is wisdom.
[Mark 7:21] “For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed the evil thoughts, fornications, thefts, murders, adulteries[ Mark 7:22] deeds of coveting and wickedness, as well as deceit, sensuality, envy, slander, pride and foolishness.[NAS] [Mark 7:23] “All these evil things proceed from within and defile the man.”
Pride is evil.

What Is “The Christ?”
Eph 1:9 Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself:

Eph 1:11 In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:
Introduction
What I want you to see today is that Christ has a ‘Christ’ which Christ sends to do His work just exactly as the Father sent Him forth to accomplish the Father’s Work. We will see that this ‘Christ’ is the ‘body of Christ’ and that without ‘the Christ,’ neither Christ nor His father are complete. We will see that this ‘Christ’ was envisioned from “before the foundation of the world” to fulfill Christ who fulfills His Father: I want you to see that ‘the Christ’ is revealed throughout God’s Word, starting in Gen 1:1 through Rev 22:21. Christ says “I am the way the truth…” Psalms tells us “the sum of thy word is truth.” These are not contradictory statements. I want you to see that ‘the Christ,’ ‘the testimony of Jesus Christ’ and ‘the revelation of Jesus Christ’ are all one and the same and are all to be seen within ‘the Christ.’
John 5:30 I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.
Mat 13:35 That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things which have been kept secret from the foundation of the world.

Christ was sent by His Father to die for His flock. Could we be given that same commission? We will show what exactly is purpose for “the Christ.”

The Common misconception of ‘the Christ.’
“The Christ” is a very popular doctrine more with the so called ‘New Age’ Christians than within “the historical orthodox Christian church.” According to New Age doctrine ‘the Christ’ is very much like ‘the force’ in the Star Wars series. ‘The force’ has both a light side and a dark side. It is up to us to decide with which side we will align ourselves. According to the New Age doctrine, all we need is to get the corrosion off the cables that connect us all to this source of limitless power called ‘the Christ.’ All the great teachers of the past like Ghandi, Buddha, and yes even Jesus, learned the secrets of tapping into the powers of “the Christ.”
Orthodox Christianity, on the other hand believes in a ten second sinners prayer which must be uttered in this life if one even hopes to ever be saved. Consequently ‘the Christ’ has no relevance in “historical orthodox Christianity.” At least not in an Ephesians one sense of “in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in [the] Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him:”
Christ’s Opinion Of The New Age Concept Of ‘The Christ’
Since Christ does indeed know the secrets of tapping into ‘the Christ’ then maybe we ought to listen to what Jesus had to say about who really is the one true Christ. Here is His take on this subject:
John 8:12 Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.
John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
John 10:7 Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep.
John 10:8 All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them.
John 10:9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.
The Truth is that “The Christ” and “The Lord and His Christ” are both very Biblical phrases which God Himself has seen fit to coin in reference to His faithful elect. But ‘the Christ’ has nothing to do with “the great teachers of the past, apart from Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Here is what Christ Himself has to say of this New age concept of ‘the Christ:”
John 8:58 Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.
John 10:14 I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.
John 10:15 As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep.
John 10:1 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.
John 10:2 But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep.
John 10:3 To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out.
John 10:4 And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice.
John 10:5 And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers.
“Know not the voice of strangers” means simply that they do know the voice of the True Shepherd. It does not mean that they tolerate the doctrine of ‘strangers.’ Christ’s sheep “flee from the voice of a stranger.” Jesus Christ was obviously not a ‘New Age Christian.’ Nevertheless He did, through His apostles, teach the doctrine of ‘the Christ.’
Scriptures Containing The Phrase ‘The Christ’
Here is how God’s Word reveals “the Christ” and “the Lord and His Christ” to us in 1Co 12:12:
(YLT) For, even as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of the one body, being many, are one body, so also is the Christ,
(REV) For, just as, the body, is one, and yet hath many members, but, all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so, also, the Christ;-
(Darby) For even as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of the body, being many, are one body, so also is the Christ.
(CLV) For even as the body is one and has many members, yet all the members of the one body, being many, are one body, thus also is the Christ.”
This verse attaches Christ our Head to “His Body which is the church.” After all, isn’t Christ both Lord (Head) and Christ? Yes of course He is:
Act 2:34 For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he saith himself, The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand,
Act 2:35 Until I make thy foes thy footstool.
Act 2:36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.
Why is Peter going to such lengths to tell us that Christ is “both Lord and Christ?” We are shown why just two chapter’s later:
Act 4:26 The kings of the earth stood up, and the rulers were gathered together against the Lord, and against his Christ.
Christ is God’s Christ, God’s ‘sent and anointed one.’ Christ is the one who has been anointed with God’s Spirit, symbolized by the oil poured over the hair and beard of Aaron, the high priest of Israel.
Psa 133:1 Behold, how good and how pleasant [it is] for brethren to dwell together in unity!
Psa 133:2 [It is] like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, [even] Aaron’s beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments;
Psa 133:3 As the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the LORD commanded the blessing, even life for evermore.
John 20:21 Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.
2Co 1:21 Now he which stablisheth us with you in Christ [5547- Greek - Christos], and hath anointed [5548 - Greek- chrio] us, is God;
But could it be that Christ, who we now know is also “the Lord,” has His own Christ, His own anointed? That is exactly what we are told is the case. The Father Himself has, through Christ, anointed us to be the ‘chrio’ of His anointed ‘Christos.’
1Jn 4:17 Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.
But just how much “as He is so are we” are we? Are we so much “as He is… in this world,” that we can be called ‘the Christ… His Christ?” Yes, that is just how much “as He is, so are we in this world.” Look at how scripture refers to God’s elect:
Act 4:26 The kings of the earth stood up, and the rulers were gathered together against the Lord, and against his Christ.
Rev 11:15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become [the kingdoms] of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.
Eph 3:2 since you surely hear of the administration of the grace of God that is given to me for you,
Eph 3:3 for by revelation the secret is made known to me (according as I write before, in brief,
Eph 3:4 by which you who are reading are able to apprehend my understanding in the secret of the Christ,
Eph 3:5 which, in other generations, is not made known to the sons of humanity as it was now revealed to His holy apostles and prophets): in spirit”
Eph 3:6 the nations are to be joint enjoyers of an allotment, and a joint body, and joint partakers of the promise in Christ Jesus, through the evangel”

@Paul, We all love you, and have prayed for you in earnest, and will continue to do so. Paul, none of us have all of the light, not yet, and Pete is correct, pride will lead you to the pit. I can’t speak for anyone else on this site, but as for myself, I forgive you of anything you may have said, however I do believe that you need to repent, and ask the Lord to remove the log in your eye. Know that you are loved, Paul, and may God’s mercy be on you. It is out of love that I say this, Jesus doesn’t want to see anyone perish.

It has brought me much saddness to see the unveiling of truth here on these comments. Many of us have known the truth and the root of the problem being expressed through Paul Borner. We have tried to reason with you Paul and win you and others over to the truth thru gentle correction and encouragement, knowing the sinful places of the heart we have come from ourselves and continue to battle with the grace of God. Paul, you are greatly deceived and are in danger. You may have begun in the spirit at one time but you have been led astray and the very nature of our enemy lives in you. It is pride. This is the very nature of Satan that must be put to death. We can tell a tree by its fruit not by the words it speaks. There are many false jesus’s and many false gospels. Your testimony always exalts Jesus, which is good but it also exalts you. The very nature of satan is to share and take on the glory that is reserved only to God. GOD DEMANDS IT ALL. I pray you come to see this and examine the fruits of your ministry. Is it not a clanging gong, devoid of the love of Christ and peaceable fruit of righteousness? That is what very many of us see, that is our spiritual discernment.
I do not boast my friend. I have was overtaken by a similar spirit for a season. But we are nothing, none of us are anything. We must humble ourselves, God is not going to do it. He only gives grace to the humble, proud people don’t get it. What little light proud people have, God takes it away and the truth is therefore veiled from them. God sends delusion to those that are prideful. When sin lives in our hearts, the deeds of the flesh that defile us are the very things we speak out of our mouths. I had written some recent things to share my learning of the sins of the flesh and the attributes of pride. My hope and prayer to God was they would prick your heart and help you see that something was amiss. You are stumbling in the daylight Paul.
There are so many voices and so people claiming to have the special annointing and having the BIG JESUS. They boast they are apostles or prophets and they speak many truths yet they bear not the fruit unto righteousness which is LOVE. We are seeing end times fulfilled before our very eyes. Jesus said MANY deceivers would come and MANY would be deceived. I encourage all to read the Scriptures and live them daily always examining the fruit being produced. If we are not seeing the Gal 5:22 fruits of the spirit coming out of our mouths and manifest in our lives and the lives we touch, then we have a problem and should seek the truth from the LORD. He desires that none should perish but all come to repentance.
GAL 5:22-25 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. 24 Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 25 Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit. 26 Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying each other
Paul, you have become conceited. You provoke people. There is envy in your heart. You have to be seen as the king. I say this in love to point out a speck in a professing brother’s eye. I have had the same log pulled out of my eye. We must deny ourselves, the pride that lives in us, must be put to death. There are no big shots or smart people in the Body of Christ. The head is JESUS and it is to Him that goes all the glory. Repent of these forms of godliness and surrender SELF to the Lord.
I have made many mistakes and said stupid stuff. But God is working me, nobody has arrived yet. I am yet to be glorified but I will if we stay the course and let the Spirit of God complete the good work in us that HE started.
