Churches Are Drunk and Asleep
Hear the Word of the Lord.
It is late on God’s clock. The end is getting close. Everyone has been asleep just as Jesus said would be the case.
Matthew 25:1-6 Then the kingdom of heaven will be comparable to ten virgins, who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. 2“Five of them were foolish, and five were prudent. 3“For when the foolish took their lamps, they took no oil with them, 4but the prudent took oil in flasks along with their lamps. 5“Now while the bridegroom was delaying, they ALL got drowsy and began to sleep. 6“But at midnight there was a shout, ‘Behold, the bridegroom! Come out to meet him.’
It is midnight my friends meaning it is very dark spiritually. Never has this world been a more immoral place and the thoughts of its inhabitants focused on anything but the real Jesus and true living God. The foolish and the wise virgins will soon all be awake. I have been chosen to be awakened even though my prior deeds have merited nothing from God. Through His grace I was lost and I am now saved. Through His grace I was blind but I now see. What I see horrifies me and outside a few brothers I cannot speak to anyone about it outside of this forum.
The parable of the wine skins tells us what has happened. New wine has been poured into old wine skins and destruction has resulted. Still others like the old wine better, the wine that said we could live in sin and pursue the lusts of the flesh. People are drinking lots of that wine, as it is served by our enemy any time we want it, and very many of God’s people are drunk, stumbling in darkness or fast asleep.
Luke 5:37-39 And no one puts new wine into old wineskins; otherwise the new wine will burst the skins and it will be spilled out, and the skins will be ruined. 38“But new wine must be put into fresh wineskins. ”And no one, after drinking old wine wishes for new; for he says, ‘The old is good enough.’”
I am going to take a different tack on this post. It is going to more like a Bible Study. I am going to show some passages of Scripture that paint a picture of the end times and then tell you what God has shown me these passages are really speaking. I believe your eyes may be opened if you read this WORD with a pure heart; seeking to really know Him not just know about Him. I can’t paste the whole Bible or Books in here so please read each passage in full context, perhaps the whole chapter to ensure you get full understanding. Pete’s commentary is in black, the WORD as written is in Blue.
Isaiah 56:10-12
All you beasts of the field, come to devour, (God sends powers of darkness to devour the false church that is built by men’s works of the flesh, these are dead works. That is what roaring lions do, they walk around looking for God’s people to devour. 1 Peter 5)
All you beasts in the forest. (the powers of darkness are everywhere)
10 His watchmen are blind, (the pastors, the elders, they do not know the true God)
They are all ignorant; (they are devoid of understanding, they have no fear of God)
They are all dumb dogs, (dogs are outside of covenant, they are walking in sin and as was just said lack understanding)
They cannot bark; (they cannot warn or admonish by sounding a trumpet, they are worthless watchman as Ezekiel says the blood of the lost will be on their hands)
Sleeping, lying down, loving to slumber. (They are sleeping and love to sleep)
11 Yes, they are greedy dogs (they use godliness as a means to gain of some sort)
Which never have enough. (a spirit of greed consumes them, this is the error of Baalman, the prophet who took God’s calling and tried to use it for gain)
And they are shepherds
Who cannot understand; (without pure hearts and purging of sin they are purposefully made blind as God has told us)
They all look to their own way, (my denomination, my creed, we have the real Jesus over here)
Every one for his own gain, (come join our organization, build my numbers)
From his own territory. (Let me build my church, my ministry, my reputation, my name)
12 “ Come,” one says, “I will bring wine, (They say, I have the Word of God but their word is really wine which is doctrines of demons or false teaching. This is not speaking about alcohol my friends)
And we will fill ourselves with intoxicating drink; (The drunk get even drunker as they build on the false foundations handed down to them. Drunkenness makes them stumble in the daylight. False doctrine are the stumbling blocks that destroy the people of God.)
Tomorrow will be as today, (peace and safety, a false security is continually promoted and there is no fear of God and zero awareness of what is happening and where we are on God’s clock. Jesus comes as a thief)
And much more abundant.” (Let’s build more numbers, get more people drunk, there is safety in numbers they say, but that is not what God says).
As Jesus told us, these prophetic books are written in parables so those with impure hearts will not see the TRUTH in the WORD. I hope you see most of the truth in these prophecies about the end, the Day of the Lord. Seek God and the scales will come off your eyes. I am sure I do not have it exactly right, as I am just a man; but this is the truth God is showing me and He has confirmed it many times. I know I am not perfect but I have been given this wisdom from God and I am very burdened with this truth. I have a duty to proclaim it which I have been resisting to speak out on; as it will bring rejection and persecution upon me. But God keeps on pushing the buttons and will not relent. Anyway, let’s continue and look at the Parable of the Vineyard in Isaiah.
Isaiah 5:11-14
Woe to those who rise early in the morning,
That they may follow intoxicating drink; (deceived workers think they serve God but they serve Satan in disguise, and cling to false doctrine which is strong drink)
Who continue until night, till wine inflames them! (they drink until they are so spiritually dark, ie night that they are totally overcome by the deception of the powers of darkness. This is the God sent delusion my friends)
12 The harp and the strings,
The tambourine and flute, (their worship is focused mainly on music and entertaining the world, the mixture of tares they have invited in to sup with Holy people)
And wine are in their feasts; (the message is a perverted gospel, wine that defiles)
But they do not regard the work of the LORD, (they do works of the flesh to make themselves pleasing to God, they try to build the church, a tower into heaven by their own hands and believe God will come down and cooperate with them)
Nor consider the operation of His hands. (they are not led by the Spirit of God)
13 Therefore my people have gone into captivity, (many people are in bondage to sin and to the powers of darkness. They are not free, they are slaves to Satan, demons and sin. Yes professing Christians can and do have demons, many of them. Ignore the devil and he will not flee!)
Because they have no knowledge; (without understanding the judgment of God and having a fear of God, there is no knowledge. This is a scheme of Satan to cut out godly fear out of worship. God said His people are destroyed for lack of knowledge)
Their honorable men are famished, (the leaders, the pastors do not have the true WORD in them, they are hungry but are not fed and cannot feed others what they do not have)
And their multitude dried up with thirst. (there is no Holy Spirit, there is no rain in the church)
14 Therefore Sheol has enlarged itself (Hell has gotten a lot bigger)
And opened its mouth beyond measure; (Jesus will tell MANY, depart from me, I never knew you, even those that call Him LORD)
Moving into some examples from Jeremiah, we see this next passage, where God’s judgment against His rebellious people is to make them drunk with the wine of lies that come from Satan and God’s army. God does not wish this judgment to come upon those that call upon His Name, but the Righteous Judgment of God comes to all that have forsaken Him, the ONE TRUE and LIVING GOD. Those that receive judgment call upon His Name with an impure heart, they really do not believe and Jesus is not really their Lord.
Jeremiah 13:12-13 Therefore you are to speak this word to them, ‘Thus says the LORD, the God of Israel, “Every jug is to be filled with wine.”‘ And when they say to you, ‘Do we not very well know that every jug is to be filled with wine?’ 13then say to them, ‘Thus says the LORD, “Behold I am about to fill all the inhabitants of this land–the kings that sit for David on his throne, the priests, the prophets and all the inhabitants of Jerusalem–with drunkenness!
Again God’s righteous judgment. It pleases Him to get rebels against His Word and His Law drunk with false teaching. He wants all to repent and no man to perish but the judgment that comes from rebellion is the discipline God brings upon us to turn us back to Him. But time for repentance grows very short. Here is another example, showing it is God’s will to bring the judgment and have the drunkards drink even more.
Jeremiah 25:28-29 ‘Thus says the LORD of hosts: “You shall surely drink! For behold, I am beginning to work calamity in this city (church) which is called by My name, and shall you be completely free from punishment? You will not be free from punishment; for I am summoning a sword against all the inhabitants of the earth,” declares the LORD of hosts.’
This is how God works. The more we rebel, the more He brings judgment upon us. He wants our whole hearts, He wants us to repent. Unless and until we are broken in Spirit and know we cannot attain rest and peace or life by the works of our flesh, we will not turn fully to God. Judgement is good as without it, even fewer would come to know God. Remember the Semon on the Mount “blessed are the poor in spirit, for they shall see God”.
Jeremiah 51:6-9
Flee from the midst of Babylon, (Rev 18 says the same thing. We are told to get out of man made church and man made religion now, come out and be separate, touch not what is unclean or hang out with tares and sinners and call that church. It is not, it is the world)
And each of you save his life! (do not follow men, you need to choose the way of God to live)
Do not be destroyed in her punishment, (if we hang out with ”her”, the false church, we will be destroyed. Save your life and come out, don’t worry about what men think, only concern yourself with what God thinks)
For this is the LORD’S time of vengeance; (Judgment has come, it begins with Christians)
He is going to render recompense to her. (we will be repaid for our evil deeds unless confessed and repented of to the Lord of Hosts)
7Babylon has been a golden cup in the hand of the LORD, (God has been holding the false church, He sent the false church upon His people, purposefully allowing them to be deceived as we saw a little earlier in this post. God is in control and God sends the deception and the strong delusion to punish those that take pleasure in their sin)
Intoxicating all the earth (everyone got drunk with false teaching and doctrines of demons)
The nations have drunk of her wine; (the truth hs been perverted by this spiritual poison)
Therefore the nations are going mad. (lawlessness abounds, even love has been perverted)
8Suddenly Babylon has fallen and been broken; (made made religion has fallen and it is just now beginning to be revealed so people will see it)
Wail over her! (I am, now Lamentations takes on a whole new meaning to me)
Bring balm for her pain;
Perhaps she may be healed. (the efforts of men are useless, who gets saved is totally up to God)
9We applied healing to Babylon, but she was not healed; (Babylon will not be rescued, it will be destroyed completely and totally by the powers of darkness)
Forsake her and let us each go to his own country, (get out of this playing church stuff, showing outward signs of godliness yet denying the power of Christ to make you into a totally new and Born Again person. Get out so you may not be held back or further poisoned.)
For her judgment has reached to heaven (God hates sin and our churches never purged sin out, instead they invited sin inside and hence the judgment of God comes quickly)
Jeremiah 51:34-40
Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon has devoured me and crushed me, (Neb. is a type for Satan,. this is the fallen church speaking once they realized what has happened to them)
He has set me down like an empty vessel; (drained them of the True Spirit)
He has swallowed me like a monster, (the powers of darkness devour their prey)
He has filled his stomach with my delicacies; (lusts of the flesh and world)
He has washed me away. (with the flood of lies and deceit that Satan brings upon us)
35“May the violence done to me and to my flesh be upon Babylon,” (violence means the word of God has been perverted and it caused harm, Jeremiah asks the false church be paid back)
The inhabitant of Zion will say;
And, “May my blood be upon the inhabitants of Chaldea,” (those under control of powers of darkness, which the Chaldeans are a type of)
Jerusalem will say. 36Therefore thus says the LORD,
”Behold, I am going to plead your case (God will hear and answer His Holy Remnant)
And exact full vengeance for you; (The Lord will repay all, let Him do it)
And I will dry up her sea (powers of darkness called the sea, roaring sea throughout)
And make her fountain dry. (the flood of lies will cease, the Holy remnant will be spared)
37“Babylon will become a heap of ruins, a haunt of jackals, (Those with false peace and no fear of God are going to be ruined, they lack understanding and are bowing to demons)
An object of horror and hissing, without inhabitants. They will roar together like young lions, (The demons will roar once they have conquered fully the false church just like lions do when they conquer their prey).
They will growl like lions’ cubs.
39“When they become heated up, I will serve them their banquet (we either eat the true bread of life or we ourselves will be devoured. There are many references to this feast of demons)
And make them drunk, that they may become jubilant (the false joy and peace that comes from following the wrong Jesus, it is scary my friends what has happened)
And may sleep a perpetual sleep (God’s people and all the Shepherds are fast asleep and very few will awaken to the truth. The doom of most has already been decreed)
And not wake up,” declares the LORD. (God says only few shall be saved, even amongst those that call Him LORD).
40“I will bring them down like lambs to the slaughter, (The broad road leads to this place)
Like rams together with male goats.
Joel 1:1-9
Hear this, O elders, (leaders, teachers, pastors)
And listen, all inhabitants of the land (all of us that claim to be standing on God’s land)
Has anything like this happened in your days
Or in your fathers’ days? (no, this judgment of God will astonish, amaze, stun, perplex those that believe that have been blinded)
3Tell your sons about it,
And let your sons tell their sons,
And their sons the next generation. (there’s not much time left, so we must really get the truth out now, time grows very short)
4What the gnawing locust has left, the swarming locust has eaten; (the powers of darkness)
And what the swarming locust has left, the creeping locust has eaten; (they keep coming)
And what the creeping locust has left, the stripping locust has eaten. (they are relentless)
5Awake, drunkards, and weep; (Christians, wake up you that are drunk with the cotton candy gospel, weep and mourn over your sin, repent, as James told us let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom)
And wail, all you wine drinkers, (same to you that are still drinking the kool aide of Satan)
On account of the sweet wine (the truth, the good wine has not been drunk) That is cut off from your mouth. (God blinds and cuts off those that do not Love him and as evidenced by obeying His commandments)
6For a nation has invaded my land, (the powers of darkness have taken over God’s House)
Mighty and without number; (this is the 200M army in Ezekiel, it is not China or Russia)
Its teeth are the teeth of a lion, (The devil and powers of darkness are referred to as a lions throughout the prophets and Scriptures. They are here to devour Christians, the brethren who in ignorance follow the wrong spirit)
And it has the fangs of a lioness. (it destroys, it sheds blood, it consumes the deceived)
7It has made my vine a waste (The powers of darkness poison the good wine, they water down the gospel with logic such as “did God really say”, the same lies told to Eve)
And my fig tree splinters. (the sons of Israel are splintered into many denominations yet there is only ONE CHURCH, and JESUS not any man is building it. The powers of darkness brought judgment upon the church).
It has stripped them bare and cast them away; (they are naked like Adam after sin and the church of Laodica in Rev 3 — because of SIN)
Their branches have become white. (removed from the true vine, the branches wither and die and are eventually cut off by the powers of darkness and burned. See John 15)
8Wail like a virgin girded with sackcloth (the mourning and sadness over this truth once it is revealed to many more people is going to be unbelievable. I have no words to describe it, the burden is immense. What can we do. God says to be still. Let Him do what needs to be done).
Proverbs 31
It is not for kings to drink wine, (our leaders are to remain pure with the WORD)
Or for rulers to desire strong drink, (but they too lusts after the flesh and gain and consequently pervert the Word and water down the gospel)
5For they will drink and forget what is decreed, (they will forget the law and the ordinances of God and be deceived into thinking holiness and salvation is a cake walk)
And pervert the rights of all the afflicted. (the oppressed and sick children of God sitting in these false churches will be innocently killed spiritually) Woe to them that do this!
6Give strong drink to him who is perishing, (God says, further deceive those who have hardened their hearts and are perishing) And wine to him whose life is bitter. (harbor unforgiveness and you get even more bitterness poured out upon you by God)
7Let him drink and forget his poverty (God says get em drunk with lies and let them wallow in their sin)
And remember his trouble no more. (delude them with a false peace and a false security)
Proverbs 4:14-17
Do not enter the path of the wicked
And do not proceed in the way of evil men.
15Avoid it, do not pass by it;
Turn away from it and pass on.
16For they cannot sleep unless they do evil;
And they are robbed of sleep unless they make someone stumble.
17For they eat the bread of wickedness (eating at the table of demons in what man calls church, but is really the world, full of tares, flesh and evil, all in the name of Jesus)
And drink the wine of violence. (again violence is perversion of God’s word, and the cotton candy gospel that cuts all the judgment, fear and warning out of the Bible is violence to the truth)
Isaiah 3:8-10
For Jerusalem has stumbled and Judah has fallen, (both got drunk with doctrines of demons)
Because their speech and their actions are against the LORD, (evil is called good and good is called evil. What I speak is considered evil as it goes against”church” tradition)
To rebel against His glorious presence. (Babylon is really a house of rebels that do not love God but instead bow to Satan and his image. The abomination stands today in the temple, which is the people of God, not some building going up in Israel)
9The expression of their faces bears witness against them,
And they display their sin like Sodom; (out in the open, it’s okay, everyone sins, you are born that way and you cannot stop sinning)
They do not even conceal it
Woe to them!
For they have brought evil on themselves. (they turned the grace of God into a license to sin and brought judgment on themselves. Don’t blame Satan, blame yourself)
Isaiah 8:13-15
It is the LORD of hosts whom you should regard as holy.
And He shall be your fear, (churches teach us to fear men and everything but God)
And He shall be your dread. (work out your salvation with fear and trembling)
14“Then He shall become a sanctuary; (fear of God is required to find rest and peace)
But to both the houses of Israel, a stone to strike and a rock to stumble over,
And a snare and a trap for the inhabitants of Jerusalem. (Jesus becomes the stumbling stone for those operating in the flesh, serving God with works and really bowing to Satan. They are harlots and practice their faith as double minded adulteress).
15“Many will stumble over them,
Then they will fall and be broken;
They will even be snared and caught.” (captured and enslaved in bondage to the powers of darkness)
Jeremiah 6:21-23
Therefore, thus says the LORD,
”Behold, I am laying stumbling blocks before this people (God brings the judgment)
And they will stumble against them, (nobody or nothing can stop it)
Fathers and sons together;
Neighbor and friend will perish.” (a lot of nice religious folks are going to perish) 22Thus says the LORD,
”Behold, a people is coming from the north land, (that would be the powers of darkness)
And a great nation will be aroused from the remote parts of the earth
Hosea 4:4-6
Yet let no one find fault, and let none offer reproof;
For your people are like those who contend with the priest.
5So you will stumble by day, (drunk so much, you stumble in spiritual darkness even during the day. What will happen when the days get even darker as final judgment approaches?).
And the prophet also will stumble with you by night;
And I will destroy your mother. (the church built by men and their fleshly works)
6My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge (without fear of God, there is no knowledge)
Because you have rejected knowledge, (followed after men and doctrines of demons)
I also will reject you from being My priest (true sons will be His priests, others will be rejected)
Since you have forgotten the law of your God, (Jesus did not come to abolish the law not even one jot or tittle. You come out from under the law ONLY if you walk in the spirit and die to the flesh. Men has foolishly taught the law does not stand and they have forgotten it)
I also will forget your children. (God brings upon His people, only the Holy Stump will be saved)
I hope any serious student of truth will be edified by this post and that the Scriptures would open up more to your understanding. Pray for wisdom from God our only true teacher. Most Christians will not have even read down to the end and based on some comments I get, many will be offended. The truth never did please flesh or tickle ears. It did not 2000 years ago anymore than it does today.
If you are in one of the very few churches that teach the truth about the WORD, Praise God and I know you are getting the truth out there. If you are in the Babylon Church, which is nearly all, you are told to come of of her. Fellowship with your true brothers never required going to a large building and it doesn’t today. I pray God will guide you with all wisdom into doing what is right when He leads you to action.

All who wish to live a godly life in Christ Jesus, WILL BE PERSECUTED. Sister, the flood is being poured out on those that live for their flesh and they are going to attack anyone that seeks or lives the real TRUTH. As Phil 1:28-29 says this is a good sign for you and a bad one for them. Keep the faith, stay in the ARK and fight evil with evil. May Jesus Bless you.

Hey, I agree 100% some of these false churches and people in this world are trying to put people in mental instutions for speaking out against wrong doing, and they are doing it all under the guise of false ministries that are connected to MHMR places.
I am a living witness and I am not ashamed of this or the gospel. They even try to use the police. There is a horrible thing going on.
I was at a church and I spoke out in a counseling session that I was manipulated to go to, I said that it was wrong for these so called pastors on tv to put people in fear and make them give all their rent money and resources to them.
The next day they called me at work and told me I could not come back unless I go get on medications.
they try to amke you appear crazy. And they are casting spells and speaking curses over people. And if you think this is not true. It is.
I read Lev 10 just now and thank you for pointing me to it. We are to touch not what is unclean and come out and be separate. These two guys in their carnal minds wanted to operate out of the flesh and do something for God, but they brought the unclean into His presence. That is the same mistake christians make today, they do works of the flesh and then ask God to come cooperate with them. God builds the church not any man. These fleshly works are an abomination to Him, yet that is what church is today. Sure He uses them per Romans 8:28. The signs and wonder seekers are really in trouble in today’s “church”. Things like holy laughter, shaking I believe are all demonic based on my first hand in the congregation experience. We were told all kinds of wonders would come from the evil one. Signs and wonders follow the real Jesus, they do not lead us to the real Jesus. An evil and adulterous (double minded harlots) generation seeks after a sign said Jesus. Thank you sister for the edification and be blessed in Jesus Name.
I will go look at Leviticus 10, thanks for sharing your input. God is jealous, He Himself says it and is a consuming fire. Just as it pleased Him to crush His son, it pleases Him to see us suffer. That may not be good carnal logic but is in fact by our suffering that we endure for Him that we show that we truly love Him. So that is why it pleases Him. God does not want us to suffer, the sooner we come to know Him and love Him, everyone is happy. Here is another passage of Jeremiah I did not post that was telling me that it pleases God to bring false teaching upon the rebellious. The more one rebels, the more wine he drinks, God is trying to drive us to such a state of despair that we will give up on our flesh and turn to HIM alone in true repentance.

God is bringing this wrath upon those that call Him Lord because He wants them to return to Him and know He is God. So it pleases Him as God only does what pleases Him, after all God is God.

Also, be encouraged there are more people out here speaking the truth and carrying the burden of “persecution” than you think. I am one of them! I have been ridiculed, ostracized and lied about in order to discredit the things I have spoken. But I’ve come to find that it is better to obey God than live in the fear of man.
I agree with most of what you are saying, but I don’t agree that God enjoys people getting drunk with false teaching.

My take is that life is full of choices. If we choose to do good, God sees that and blesses us. But if we choose wrongly, BECAUSE He is just He must punish them. It’s like He says, “I’ve prodded your hearts and have given you warnings, but you MADE THE CHOICE to do wrong. So, because I am just and you follow after man instead of Me, I have to punish you. Here is what you asked for by your own volition.”
That’s my two cents about that!
Here’s another thought….
What is something that throughout the Bible God has said displeased Him? What is the thing that Israel and Judah were warned about and punished for?
IDOLATRY!
There is this worship in church that is a “strange fire” as it were. (Look up Nadab and Abihu in Leviticus 10) It is an unholy worship of church leaders and their church kingdoms. People mimick what their pastors say, using phrases that turn off the mind that I like to call Christian-ese. They think that their church is the best with the best school, best worship, best drama team, etc. They defend their church name more than they defend the name of Christ. If someone speaks against their pastor, they are “touching the anointing” and will ultimately “die.”
WHAT HAS HAPPENED??? People are more zealous about these things than about the Lord! They will fight tooth and nail for them, but not lay down their lives for Christ. I have much more to speak about this and will put it on my blog soon, but the main gist is this: Many Christians don’t worship God- they worship MAN! I used to also, so no judgment here. But I do know how whacked I was when I served man instead of God.
