Sister, Thank you for your comment. I completely understand your question and issue as I am dealing with the same. I am trying to find the right balance of speaking up versus coming across as a critical judge. But every time I have backed off, wanting people to be my friends and "like me", God has come and showed me more truth that expands the extent of the apostasy and fallen away church. I am convinced God's Word is 100% true. This means 1) all who desire to live godly will be persecuted, reviled and hated, 2) God's church is not people sitting in a building or meeting hall, 3) Only FEW are really saved, MANY are really deceived and 4) Prophecy about Babylon says, most will be destroyed, they will not be turned around.

So I like you want to stand up with a megaphone and scream out to my church, my city, starting with my own family and friends. Many have forms of godliness but have not been transformed. I know very few Chrisitans that see what I see and have a reverent fear of God. I encourage you to stand firm and do not seek the approval of men at the expense of the truth. We will suffer a little while. Read John 8, where Jesus confronted the Jews and they claimed he was insane and of the devil. Sounds exactly like what is happening to you and I expect is about to happen to me. The point is you will be kicked out of the fallen away church, you will be shunned. But Jesus and James told us to rejoice, the be exceedingly glad when this happens as it confirms we are walking with God. There are VERY FEW real christians. The field in the Mt 13 parable of the wheat and tares, is the world not the church. Church today invites the unclean to come join the clean, yet we were to remain separate and not be unequally yoked. To them it is all about getting big numbers, tickling ears and showing God all the good things they are doing for God. God said not to cast the pearls (truth about Him) to the swine. Jesus is building HIS church and the gates of Hades will NOT prevail against it. We can't save people only God can. So continue to speak out, be wise, be gentle, be seasoned with salt and above all PRAY for these people that are deceived and following the spirit of antichrist. Until God grants these people repentance, their hearts will remain hardened and they will be BLIND to the truth. As the trials heat up, maybe they will begin to see the truth in our message, but we must press on walking in holiness with God and being an example and not spewing hypocrisy.

Read Isaiah 5, 29-30, Jer 50-51, Psalm 74, Habuk., Psalm 107 to see what God said about the end times church. We are facing a mountain that only God can tear down if that is His will.

Pray for me that I will step out in courage and put my "life" on the line for the truth. I will pray for you. Thanks for the edification. God Bless You.

You are very right. I agree that Jesus walked as a human in the flesh and not as a deity.

This Scripture that you used:

1 Timothy 6:3-5 If anyone teaches false doctrines and does not agree to the sound instruction of our Lord Jesus Christ and to godly teaching, 4he is conceited and understands nothing. He has an unhealthy interest in controversies and quarrels about words that result in envy, strife, malicious talk, evil suspicions 5and constant friction between men of corrupt mind, who have been robbed of the truth and who think that godliness is a means to financial gain.

aptly describes a lot of "pastors" that I have seen. They are practically worshiped by the congregation- their words being taken as "God's words" instead of the pastor's merely being a vessel of God. If this automatic acceptance of whatever the pastor says doesn't get stopped, then idolatry comes. The congregation begins to unknowingly worship the pastor instead of the Lord. I have seen this happen on more than one occasion. And every one of these pastors fits this description. :( It is sad.

However, how does a believer confront this? We are actually TOLD to expose false teachers for what they are. Yet, in my experience, when I have tried to, I have been the one labeled a false teacher. I get called divisive and also "Jezebel." I have noticed, not only in my circumstances, but other people who speak up, that they get labeled these things as an excuse to throw off the truth. Again, it is sad. What can a gal do? I am not speaking for personal gain- monetarily or for leadership position. I do not attend a church, so this is impossible! :) It is such a difficult thing to know what to do sometimes.
