Jesus Christ Walked As a Man
This is one of the most stunning truths you need to know to see the truth and identify all the liars and false workers of righteousness of man made religion. Time grows VERY short and God is awakening His chosen ones now. Awaken O’Sleeper.
1 John 4:1-3 Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world. 2 By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the FLESH is of God, 3 and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the FLESH is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world.
God has brought me out of darkness and revealed a stunning lie of Satan. The lie is that Jesus walked the earth as a God. That is not the case as I hope the Scriptures I show will attest. Jesus is God and is the Lord Himself but He came to earth as a man totally devoid of His godly deity.
But go back and read what the Apostle John told us in the opening verse at the top of this post. Johns said that every spirit that denies that Jesus came in the FLESH is not from God. John goes on to say that any spirit behind any contrary teaching is actually the spirit of Antichrist, which is the devil. You must get this truth, I pray you get it. I will outline later what I see as all the subtending lies and deceit that come from getting this issue wrong. Jesus is the Christ, the anointed One and is our LORD and if you want to get down to it, is GOD ALMIGHTY HIMSELF. But He walked the earth as a MERE MAN, that is what is meant as coming in the FLESH.
Jesus walked the earth as man, operating and being led 100% by the spirit of God. The father of all lies, Satan has brought this destructive heresy into the church and because of it, many have fallen away from the truth and are now deceived and on the broad road that leads to destruction. I hope that God will awaken people to the truth and bring them to repentance before it is too late.
In case we missed it in 1 John 4, John reiterated this profound truth in his second epistle.
2 John 1:17 Many deceivers, who do not acknowledge Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh, have gone out into the world. Any such person is the deceiver and the Antichrist.
John is not talking about people or non-believers who say Jesus was not the Son of God. Earlier John spoke about liars that deny Jesus as Christ outright.
1 John 2:22 Who is the liar but the one who denies that Jesus is the Christ? This is the antichrist, the one who denies the Father and the Son. Make no mistake, the Antichrist is also behind the overt lie and denial of Jesus as God – but the deception that is capturing the hearts and minds of professing believers is much more sinister. Denying Jesus walked in the FLESH leads people into religion, vain worship and a false security about their salvation.
The deceivers spoken of in Scriptures are LIARS INSIDE THE CHURCH, not outside. Deception as referenced in Scripture is “religious” deception and error in doctrine and the true Word of God. Anyone INSIDE the church believes Jesus is God otherwise they would not be in church. John is not telling us the deceivers deny that Jesus was God, John is saying the deceivers deny Jesus walked without His godly divinity. That is what FLESH is, it is the opposite of Spirit. God is Spirit and flesh has nothing to do with God. Jesus and the Apostles knew the deceivers would come and that is why we have so many warnings about deception. This deception is the most insidious of all as I will speak to later. Many are deceived today just as Jesus said would happen before the end.
I wrote recent posts about the Success of Deception and God’s Warning on Deception that will bring some valuable light to your attention. We are to be lights on a hill. If God gives us light we have an obligation of Love to share it with the brethren, even if the truth does not tickle ears or please the flesh. That is what I am doing. This truth will offend many but that is exactly what the truth will do, as it will come against the traditions of men and will upset their flesh, pride and the false security about their religion. Deceivers have come inside, they have secretly slipped in:
Jude 4 For certain men whose condemnation was written about long ago have secretly slipped in among you. DECEIVERS ARE INSIDE CHURCH.
2 Peter 2:1 But there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will secretly introduce destructive heresies
Galatians 2:4 And this occurred because of false brethren secretly brought in who came in by stealth to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus, that they might bring us into bondage
If you don’t beleive Jesus came in the FLESH, you do not believe Jesus and you will be unable to walk as Jesus walked. That is the heart of the big lie told to Christians today.
Scriptures Showing Where Jesus Got Power
This next passage is one of the most controversial on the subject at hand. Yet to me, it is real wisdom.
Philippians 2:5-9 our attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus: 6Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, 7but made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. 8And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to death— even death on a cross! 9Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name
Jesus drained Himself of all deity. Notice that Paul tells us to have the same attitude as Christ. Why would Paul tells us this if Jesus walked the earth as God because we are not Gods? The point was we are told over and over again, we are to walk as Jesus walked. He gave us the example, even coming and walking devoid of Godly deity. We will see where Jesus said He got His power below. We are to humble ourselves, that is how we receive God’s grace and we are to obey God’s commandments. In the same way we will be exalted into heaven on the Last Day.
Romans 1:1-4 Paul, a bondservant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated to the gospel of God 2 which He promised before through His prophets in the Holy Scriptures, 3 concerning His Son Jesus Christ our Lord, who was born of the seed of David according to the flesh, 4 and declared to be the Son of God with power according to the Spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead.
Paul told us the same thing in the opening of the Book of Romans. Jesus was born of the seed of a man, from King David’s line. It was by the power of the Holy Spirit by which Jesus did all the things He did when He walked the earth. Jesus did not operate with ANY godly divinity while He was in the FLESH. The same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead is the same Spirit that enables us to walk as Jesus walked.
Luke 4:14 Then Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit to Galilee, and news of Him went out through all the surrounding region. Luke records Jesus coming out of the wilderness with POWER of the Spirit. Jesus was not a Spirit, He was man, so this power was not His godly deity, it was the Spirit of God that had come upon Him after Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist AND after Jesus endured the temptations by obeying the Father. Jesus went into the wilderness without the power of the Spirit, yet He returned with it. This is how it works with us folks. We are to walk as Jesus walked. The way we are born again and transformed into a new creation and then do the works of Jesus and even greater works is by THE POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT. We are to be imitators of Christ. The reason so few of those works get done is because we have not purged sin out of the church and we are not walking in the Spirit as defined in the Scripture and that is what Jesus did.
Hebrews 2:14 Therefore, since the children share in flesh and blood, He Himself likewise also partook of the same, that through death He might render powerless him who had the power of death, that is, the devil. To set us free from the power of sin in our lives and destroy the works of the devil, Jesus had to come in flesh and blood, not godly deity. Through His obedience, death and resurrection, we now have access to the power of God so we can obey God and enter into His kingdom as a holy and blameless bride. It is finished, Jesus did it all for us, we must simply abide in Him.
Paul spoke of the same power of the spirit being behind his ministry and the obedience of the gentiles.
Romans 15:18-19 For I will not presume to speak of anything except what Christ has accomplished through me, resulting in the obedience of the Gentiles by word and deed, in the power of signs and wonders, in the power of the Spirit; so that from Jerusalem and round about as far as Illyricum I have fully preached the gospel of Christ.
2 Peter 1:3 His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness
Jesus as a man got 100% of His Power from the Holy Spirit that was in Him. We tap into that same power by the Holy Spirit IN US — JUST LIKE JESUS DID. That is indeed how we are saved, sanctified and made Holy. This is the gospel, this is the really GOOD NEWS.
What Did Jesus Say About His Power
Jesus had ample opportunity say He was operating in His own deity, but in every single case where He was asked for the source of His power and miracles, He NEVER said it was Him. He said the following instead:
Luke 4:18 The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me. Coming out of the wilderness where He was tested by the devil, Jesus spoke these words in the Synagogue stating He had been anointed by the Lord. He did not say I anointed myself. This is the same anointing we get from God if we have the Spirit of God inside of us, which comes when we obey God’s commandments.
1 John 2:27 As for you, the anointing you received from him remains in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about all things and as that anointing is real, not counterfeit—just as it has taught you, remain in him
John 8:39 If you were Abraham’s children,” said Jesus, “then you would do the things Abraham did. 40As it is, you are determined to kill me, A MAN who has told you the truth that I heard from God. Jesus was a man as Jesus just said. He heard from God and did what God said. Isn’t that what we are supposed to do? Do not pervert what I am saying. Jesus is our King and He is our Lord and the creator of everything. But the good news of the Scripture is that He came as A MAN to show us the way.
John 5:19 Jesus gave them this answer: “I tell you the truth, the Son can do nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees his Father doing, because whatever the Father does the Son also does. It is the same for us. We are supposed to be led by the Spirit of God 100% of the time and the Spirit tells us the Father’s will. Romans 8:13 All who are led by the Spirit of God, these are the sons of God. We are adopted sons into the kingdom of God.
John 18:36 Jesus said, “My kingdom is not of this world. If it were, my servants would fight to prevent my arrest by the Jews. But now my kingdom is from another place.” It was not the Father’s will for Jesus to live on and overcome the Jews and Pilate. Jesus did what the Father told Him and the Father told Him to not resist and remain humble to the point of death. He asked us to do the same.
Matthew 26:39 And He went a little beyond them, and fell on His face and prayed, saying, “My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; yet not as I will, but as You will. Jesus’ flesh did not want to die, it did not want to be crucified. You can go read the prayers of Jesus in the garden where He first stated His fleshly desire. Yet Jesus in humble submission to the Father was obedient to the point of death. We too must die to self.
John 6:38 For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me. Our calling is the same – to do the will of God.
John 14:10 “Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father is in Me? The words that I say to you I do not speak on My own initiative, but the Father abiding in Me does His works. If we are led by the Spirit, we will do the will of God. This is not works, it is salvation, not being led by the Spirit is works. Satan has transposed this truth in creating his system of religion.
Matthew 12:18 “BEHOLD, MY SERVANT WHOM I HAVE CHOSEN; MY BELOVED IN WHOM MY SOUL is WELL-PLEASED; I WILL PUT MY SPIRIT UPON HIM, AND HE SHALL PROCLAIM JUSTICE TO THE GENTILES. This is a rehash of God speaking to Isaiah and these words tells us that it is the Holy Spirit that is the source of the power and great works of Jesus.
WISDOM OF MEN IS FOOLISHNESS TO GOD
Jeremiah 10:14 Every man is stupid, devoid of knowledge
There are so many Doctors of Divinity, PhD’s, Bible Scholars that come to tell us what the Word of God means. Most all of them are totally devoid of knowledge and their professed wisdom is really foolishness before God. They are unwitting deceivers that have been deceived and are now deceiving others. Do not follow them or any man, for there is ONE who is your teacher and that is Jesus. ALL revelation of truth is given to us by God. Do not put your trust in any man, especially one that teaches things that do not line up with the Holy Scriptures. They have completely missed the mark and have invented controversial questions and disputes about words. They claim you need to know Hebrew or Greek to understand the Scriptures. They invented fancy terms for religious science and boy are they proud of it. I don’t see that anywhere in my Bible. Do you see this in yours? Instead I see a warning and a clear test to identify these false teachers.
1 Timothy 6:3-5 If anyone teaches false doctrines and does not agree to the sound instruction of our Lord Jesus Christ and to godly teaching, 4he is conceited and understands nothing. He has an unhealthy interest in controversies and quarrels about words that result in envy, strife, malicious talk, evil suspicions 5and constant friction between men of corrupt mind, who have been robbed of the truth and who think that godliness is a means to financial gain.
Why Jesus in the FLESH Matters
Teachings that tell us Jesus had his godly power DENY CHRIST. They deny the power of God working in us to transform us. We can have all our prayers answered, we can heal the sick where God leads us, we can free people of demons, but we cannot do that walking in sin and being a double minded harlot that James, Peter and Paul all wrote about. We can do all things thru Christ, IF IF IF we walk as He walked. If you get this, it is a huge piece of light that is missing from our powerless flesh driven religion of today. Here is a synopsis of the main subtending lies that come from this big lie about the FLESH,
1. We cannot stop sinning. The lie will have you believe Jesus did not sin simply because He walked with godly power. This is a lie. If we claim to be Born of God and practice sin, we are a liar and the truth is not in us. We do not overcome sin by willpower or by works, we overcome by the power of God leading us into all righteousness. Jesus did not overcome sin because He was God, He overcame by obedience and following the Spirit.
2. Christianity is powerless. The lie will have us believe that God IN US, has no power. Go do a word study on the word power in the New Testament and you will see the truth. Jesus told us we would do even greater works than He and I believe that is not going to happen if we don’t have the power of the Holy Spirit working inside of us. We must be careful here not to go beyond what is written, but I see it written that we will cast demons out of people, we will lay hands on the people and they will recover and the effective prayer of a righteous man avails itself much. There is no power today because we never purged sin out of our walk with God or our churches.
3. We cannot hear God and commune with Him. The lie will have us believe we cannot know the will of God and be led by His Spirit. But that is exactly what the Scriptures tells us. If we obey God and follow His Spirit He promises to come and reveal Himself to us. He is showing up in my life and He will show up in your life to. Jesus was our example we are to follow and all the words spoken by Jesus about where He got His direction and the frequency of His prayers to God were meant for us to follow. There are other lies that come off the big lie about Jesus NOT coming in the FLESH. But for brevity I am going to end the list here.
Remember what the Apostle John told us. The deceiver is the one who denies Jesus came in the flesh. This is different than someone that denies Jesus was God’s Son, this person is not a deceiver, he is just an unbeliever and a lost person. Deceivers are what professing Christians need to worry about. They come carrying bibles, speaking of God and Jesus and on the outside look like very nice godly people. But inside they are ravenous wolves. They are under the influence of the wrong spirit and are leading the sheep to a slaughter whereby God’s people become prey and are consumed by our adversary. This is who is standing in most church pulpits, church buildings, TV, YouTube and writing the many books that Solomon warned us about. Do not be deceived but test these “spirits” by whether or not they say Jesus walked this earth as man in the FLESH. If they deny that, then they are a deceiver.
The Spirit of Antichrist has invaded and surrounded the Babylon churches of these end times. This spirit and these churches are creating double minded harlots that have ZERO inheritance in the kingdom of God. They do not fear God, they do not die to self and believe they can be married to Jesus and their flesh. The powers of darkness who perpetuate these lies in false workers of righteousness have created an image to Satan. It is a form of religion or godliness but it denies the power of God to transform us out of sinful nature into the divine nature of Jesus our Lord. We are to come out from these deceivers and the deceived so we will not be partakers of their sins.
We can do all things thru Christ who strengthens us, if we walk with Christ in our flesh. That is with the same Spirit that Jesus walked the earth as a man. If you get this truth, it is a huge piece of light that is missing from our powerless flesh driven religion of today. Jesus walked in the flesh but was lead solely by the Spirit of God. He died to His FLESH and that is what we must do also, if you want to have eternal life and be saved from the wrath of God against sin.
Romans 8:3-5 For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin: He condemned sin in the flesh, 4 that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. Walking in the Spirit is putting to death the deeds of the flesh so we will not sin.
Christ coming in the FLESH is ESSENTIAL to understanding the mystery of Godliness. Deceivers will lead you astray and will deny that Christ came in the FLESH. Do not listen to them, run do not walk, the spirit of antichrist is behind their teaching.
1 Timothy 3:16 Beyond all question, the mystery of godliness is great: He appeared in a body, was vindicated by the Spirit,
Lastly my friends. I am an imperfect man working out my own salvation. My case for this truth was not perfectly presented and I could have easily laid upon you 5X the scripture references. But for brevity I did not. I encourage you to test everything yourself by the Word of God. I pray you will diligently seek God, know His Word and follow no man.

Stumble It!

You are very right. I agree that Jesus walked as a human in the flesh and not as a deity.
This Scripture that you used:
1 Timothy 6:3-5 If anyone teaches false doctrines and does not agree to the sound instruction of our Lord Jesus Christ and to godly teaching, 4he is conceited and understands nothing. He has an unhealthy interest in controversies and quarrels about words that result in envy, strife, malicious talk, evil suspicions 5and constant friction between men of corrupt mind, who have been robbed of the truth and who think that godliness is a means to financial gain.
aptly describes a lot of “pastors” that I have seen. They are practically worshiped by the congregation- their words being taken as “God’s words” instead of the pastor’s merely being a vessel of God. If this automatic acceptance of whatever the pastor says doesn’t get stopped, then idolatry comes. The congregation begins to unknowingly worship the pastor instead of the Lord. I have seen this happen on more than one occasion. And every one of these pastors fits this description.
It is sad.
However, how does a believer confront this? We are actually TOLD to expose false teachers for what they are. Yet, in my experience, when I have tried to, I have been the one labeled a false teacher. I get called divisive and also “Jezebel.” I have noticed, not only in my circumstances, but other people who speak up, that they get labeled these things as an excuse to throw off the truth. Again, it is sad. What can a gal do? I am not speaking for personal gain- monetarily or for leadership position. I do not attend a church, so this is impossible!
It is such a difficult thing to know what to do sometimes.
Sister, Thank you for your comment. I completely understand your question and issue as I am dealing with the same. I am trying to find the right balance of speaking up versus coming across as a critical judge. But every time I have backed off, wanting people to be my friends and “like me”, God has come and showed me more truth that expands the extent of the apostasy and fallen away church. I am convinced God’s Word is 100% true. This means 1) all who desire to live godly will be persecuted, reviled and hated, 2) God’s church is not people sitting in a building or meeting hall, 3) Only FEW are really saved, MANY are really deceived and 4) Prophecy about Babylon says, most will be destroyed, they will not be turned around.
So I like you want to stand up with a megaphone and scream out to my church, my city, starting with my own family and friends. Many have forms of godliness but have not been transformed. I know very few Chrisitans that see what I see and have a reverent fear of God. I encourage you to stand firm and do not seek the approval of men at the expense of the truth. We will suffer a little while. Read John 8, where Jesus confronted the Jews and they claimed he was insane and of the devil. Sounds exactly like what is happening to you and I expect is about to happen to me. The point is you will be kicked out of the fallen away church, you will be shunned. But Jesus and James told us to rejoice, the be exceedingly glad when this happens as it confirms we are walking with God. There are VERY FEW real christians. The field in the Mt 13 parable of the wheat and tares, is the world not the church. Church today invites the unclean to come join the clean, yet we were to remain separate and not be unequally yoked. To them it is all about getting big numbers, tickling ears and showing God all the good things they are doing for God. God said not to cast the pearls (truth about Him) to the swine. Jesus is building HIS church and the gates of Hades will NOT prevail against it. We can’t save people only God can. So continue to speak out, be wise, be gentle, be seasoned with salt and above all PRAY for these people that are deceived and following the spirit of antichrist. Until God grants these people repentance, their hearts will remain hardened and they will be BLIND to the truth. As the trials heat up, maybe they will begin to see the truth in our message, but we must press on walking in holiness with God and being an example and not spewing hypocrisy.
Read Isaiah 5, 29-30, Jer 50-51, Psalm 74, Habuk., Psalm 107 to see what God said about the end times church. We are facing a mountain that only God can tear down if that is His will.
Pray for me that I will step out in courage and put my “life” on the line for the truth. I will pray for you. Thanks for the edification. God Bless You.
