Pete I know how you really feel about what's going to happen we all do who understand in these last days. But we have to submit to the governing authorities which are the apostles. We have to accept their letters as it is that we are part the early churhes and building up with faith. What I wanted to emphasize is that if we preach differently from what they are preaching and not just getting words from their letters but purpose is different, we will find ourselves rebelling from the authority that Christ gave to them.

Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God. Consequently, whoever rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves. For rulers hold no terror for those who do right, but for those who do wrong. Do you want to be free from fear of the one in authority? Then do what is right and you will be commended. For the one in authority is God’s servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for rulers do not bear the sword for no reason. They are God’s servants, agents of wrath to bring punishment on the wrongdoer. Therefore, it is necessary to submit to the authorities, not only because of possible punishment but also as a matter of conscience. (Romans 13:1-5)

Paul, a servant of Christ Jesus, called to be an apostle and set apart for the gospel of God— the gospel he promised beforehand through his prophets in the Holy Scriptures regarding his Son, who as to his earthly life[a] was a descendant of David, and who through the Spirit of holiness was appointed the Son of God in power[b] by his resurrection from the dead: Jesus Christ our Lord. Through him we received grace and apostleship to call all the Gentiles to the obedience that comes from[c] faith for his name’s sake. And you also are among those Gentiles who are called to belong to Jesus Christ. (Romans 1:1-6)

Surely you have heard about the administration of God’s grace that was given to me for you, (Ephesian 3:2)

This is why I write these things when I am absent, that when I come I may not have to be harsh in my use of authority—the authority the Lord gave me for building you up, not for tearing you down. (Cor.13:10)

For you know what instructions we gave you by the authority of the Lord Jesus. (1 Thess. 4:2)

Yes Lee I did notice -- but only after God showed up in my life and I earnestly began to seek Him. The truth of this passage and others and the twisting of the Scriptures to tickle flesh and keep them in sin became very obvious to me. Matthew 28:19-20 is the great commission scripture that every church should know and be following. I have asked several pastors, 2 theologians and many others what 28:19-20 says, they usually get through baptising them in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit but they do not know the rest... Only one pastor got it right so far.. he knew verse 20: and teach them to obey everything I have commanded you. Interesting hu....
