Jesus Vs Jehovah
There is so much scripture evidence that reveals the essence of God and provides some color on the mystery of the Godhead. While the Witnesses love to have you look at just the few verses where Jesus speaks to the superiority of the Father or to Stephen crying out as he is being stoned to his Lord and to his God, the mystery of the Godhead is simply not ours to fully comprehend. That is why faith is called FAITH. I will not judge any ones heart as that is for God alone, but I cannot sit idly by and not judge righteous judgment against the false teachings of the Watchtower organization. Follow the teachings of this “church” at your own peril. If you are a Witness and are reading this, I implore you to please take out a real bible and take the 2-3 hours minimum it will take to walk thru the scriptures I show below in the table. If you do that, and ask the God of Abraham to guide you by His Spirit, I believe you will see the truth.
Study these side by side comparisons of what was said of or by Jehovah and Jesus. It would take someone with a totally stubborn heart and blind eye not to see the truth. Jesus Christ is the Lord.
Jesus alone is our all in all. He was and is the same Lord spoken of in the Old Testament.

The mystery of the Godhead is hard for us to understand but it is clear that Jehovah God and Jesus Christ are the same God. Jesus said I and the Father are ONE (John 10:30). Jesus said the Father is in me and I am in the Father. The Witnesses say they know two Gods; God Almighty Jehovah and the lesser God Jesus the Son. This is a grievous error that will cost them their life if they do not come out from the blindness.
I am adding some additional content here that provides some more detail on THE ONE GOD comparisons shown above in the table. The Witnesses’ speak of Jesus being “a” God but a lesser God to God Almighty Jehovah. This cannot be and goes against the clear teaching of Scripture. Study these passages carefully and see if God was speaking of ONE GOD or multiple God’s. Jesus is the LORD!
Isaiah 43:10-11, Ye are my witnesses, saith the Lord, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me. I, even I, am the Lord: and beside me there is no savior. Get this loud and clear – No God has been created, no God is coming after God, and besides God there is no savior. Jesus is GOD, the one and only!
Isaiah 44:8 Do not fear, nor be afraid; Have I not told you from that time, and declared it? You are My witnesses. Is there a God besides Me? Indeed there is no other Rock; I know not one. God says again — HE IS THE ONLY GOD. Jesus is the Lord, the rock of salvation, there is indeed no other. To call Jesus a mini lesser God is a direct contradiction to the words of Jehovah. The Witnesses are leading people away from Christ. They are not led by the Spirit of God and hence their plan of salvation is one of works, one they do themselves. Follow them at your own peril. I pray for Cathy, my friend that she will find her way out of this deception.
Isaiah 45:21-23 Who has told it from that time? Have not I, the LORD? And there is no other God besides Me, A just God and a Savior; There is none besides Me. Look to Me, and be saved, All you ends of the earth! For I am God, and there is no other. I have sworn by Myself; The word has gone out of My mouth in righteousness, And shall not return, That to Me every knee shall bow, Every tongue shall take an oath. This sounds like Jesus speaking doesn’t it as we will see the same references quoted by the Apostle Paul below.
Romans 14:11 For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God. Clearly speaking of Jesus, Paul here confirms that Jesus and Jehovah are ONE. Compare this to the preceding passage from Isaiah. Jesus is not a created God, He is not a lesser God; HE IS THE ONE AND ONLY GOD.
Philippians 2:11-12, That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth: and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Here is the same words Jehovah spoke to Isaiah, again being spoken thru Paul speaking of Jesus. Jesus is the Lord. It is only by the powers of darkness, Satan and his demons that this truth cannot be seen.
If any man needs wisdom let him ask of God, who gives freely to all that ask with a pure heart. Jesus is the Lord and there is no other name upon which Salvation comes. I have no issue with those that want to call Him Yeshua that is just language; the name is the same either way.
Isaiah: 9:6 For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given;
And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Speaking here of Jesus, the Savior, Isaiah says that the Son and the Father are One. Jesus is both Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace etc. Wonder why the Witnesses don’t quote this verse from Isaiah?
God saves people, church doctrine and man made organizations do not. I am against the teachings and what I see as the evil source behind the Watchtower to deceive people. We are told to walk in love and not in judgment of people. So I offer this out of love in hopes it may stimulate anyone looking for the truth about the Light that has come into this world. That is Jesus and is He is the only source of salvation for all those that believe in Him and obey His commandments.
Stumble It!
I have studied with witnesses for over ten years, joyfully through learning, strength building and struggles, and have not known of them only targeting certain scriptues.
Just from watching movies about Jesus, one can see that he spoke of his father with great importance. For every way in which you read great things about Jesus, I suggest that you kick it up a notch for his father, Jehovah, Yaweh, Jehova’, Yah … whatever your spoken language may be.
Richard, May the Lord Bless You. I do worship the Father but have come to know that the Father and Jesus are one. I have been impressed by the discipline and godliness of the few witnesses I have met. Few believers wear their faith and subject themselves to the persecution of the world. Yet I have been shown a different truth in the Scriptures than what they shared with me. If you read any of my blog you will see that I believe the vast majority of the churches teach another gospel and worship a different God that the one I have come to know. Still I believe our worship is to Jesus or Yeshua, who is in the Father and the Father in Him.
Denny, Thanks for you kind words. I did read both of your posts. I agree with you on the absolute widespread apostasy in the professing “church”. These teachers tell us things we want to hear about God and salvation but are contrary to His word. All the warnings about deception warn us about the very things these teachers teach. There is no warning about being deceived by teachers that will tell us we must obey God and practice righteousness. (NO that isnt what Galatains says). I will check out your site as I get more time.
